The store page says partial controller support for an XBox controller. The partial support is the ability to navigate menus and that's literally it. Not a single button actually does anything game play related. Who wants to play a racing game on a keyboard?

I have played I believe plenty of mx vs atv games and a few others so I have experience with motocross games and this has to be one of the worst. Gameplay is plain bad, bikes handle really odd and don't feel real. Tricks don't look very cool either The graphics are actually pretty good though. The mud looks great, the environment looks realistic as well and a bunch of promotion signs like monster logos put around the track add a good dynamic to the races but the riders looks super stiff on the bikes. The bikes do sound good as well. There's also a bunch of different riders and bikes to choose from. I think the official total is 48 bikes and riders. There are 12 different race locations and three competitions. Overall I think this game could have been really good, but the really messy, sloppy, unrealistic handling of the bikes ruin this game. Had they made a patch to fix some of the handling issues, this game would be pretty good but they just downsized this further by robbing the multiplayer off this game and yet not disabled or removed the impossible multiplayer achievements tied to this game.

And just to add on more for a negativity, don't expect multiplayer in a multiplayer racing game. Just like the other reviews, I am WARNING you:- The game requires Gamespy servers for online play. Server were permantly turned off. So, no multiplayer.

Управление можно перенастроить только с помощью стороннего по (я использовал Controller Companion).
Контроллер Xbox игра не видит абсолютно. Кнопки удалось настроить, вибрацию не подключает. Не то чтобы она особо нужна. Просто констатация факта. 2к не поддерживает, максимум Full HD. Картинка странная: слишком насыщенная, грубая (нечто близкое к неряшливости Minecraft).
По первому впечатлению- обычная аркада "тех времён"... кривая и корявая. Музыка неплохая.
Если покупать, то только по скидке. Но всё же рекомендую поискать что-то получше.

отличная аркада для стимдека, на ПК уже и не запускается. Грязь огонь, трюки хорошо вписаны в геймплей. Физика есть, она простая но все же имеет много общего с законами физики. Для меня эта аркада где-то рядом с MX vs ATV Reflex. С симуляторами типа MXGP само собой сравнивать смысла нет да и не зачем.

Não, não recomendo. Como jogo, esse MUD é muito quadrado, as mecânicas são ultrapassadíssimas, as roupas, sistema de progressão meio sem nexo (que te permite comprar o campeonato que quiser antes do tempo, desde que tenha dinheiro), porém, existe algo que realmente me faz gostar dele, e esse por sua vez é impossível de avaliar, que foi o fato de ter sido meu primeiro jogo de Motocross para o Xbox 360 que tive, lá em 2011.

Lembro-me de ver os primeiros anúncios desse jogo no PS Vita que meu irmão tinha e desse dia em diante minha grande vontade, como criança, era jogar esse bendito jogo de Motocross moderno. Passado algum tempo, me ocorreu de estar conversando justamente com um grande amigo meu dá época, Saul Carpegiane, ou para os mais íntimos, Saul MX, que era e ainda é tão fã de motocross, senão mais que eu, e, na ocasião ele simplesmente mencionou que estava jogando o ilustríssimo MUD e que era o jogo absoluto do esporte. Não teve jeito, pedi emprestado, joguei horas e mais horas, ao menos umas 200h e então nunca mais devolvi (kkkkkkk), não me orgulho, porém, ambos esquecemos. Cara, como eu gostava desse motocross, puta merda. O sistema de whips e scrubs, as manobras, corridas de vários modos, Head2Head, Checkpoint, tradicional, eliminação... Na minha cabeça era muito foda, praticamente vida real e fotorealístico.

Para 2011, sim, era uma baita revolução. O mercado simplesmente não havia nada parecido naquela geração de consoles, porém, em dias atuais, em que um MXGP2019 ou mais recente chega a custar R$14, ao menos imaginar comprar MUD FIM Motocross por preço semelhante, não é nada além de um devaneio nostálgico, que eu, felizmente, tive o prazer de ter.

Obrigado por fazer boas memórias na cabeça daquela criança brasileira média do interior do estado do Rio Grande do Norte.

Agora, se me permitem, irei voltar a degustar da infância por mais algumas horinhas até que tudo simplesmente esfrie e vire mais um jogo para morfar na biblioteca da Steam.

Désinstallé avant 10 hr de jeu je ne l’ai pas terminé n’éprouvant plus d’intérêt. Au début j’ai bien aimé mais après 6-7 hr le jeu deviens vite répétitif et j’ai fini par comprendre que cette répétitivité va continuer encore et encore pour le finir et avoir quelque succès supplémentaire. De plus je ne sais pas quel étais le prix à sa sortie mais l'avoir acheté à 60 $ j'aurais été frustrer.

Awesome arcade dirt bike racing game. Much like all the others but with a twist or two. The boost and scrub boost is pretty cool once you get the hang of it. Graphics are decent. Would recommend if buying on sale cheap. I put in 70 hours to 100% the game so worth the money if gotten on sale. Would recommend to anyone that likes dirt bike games or played any of the atv games.

"MUD Motocross World Championship" ist ein Motorrad-Renn-Simulation.

Motocross ist zwar eher ein Nieschensport, hat aber mit dem MX1 and dem MX2 Championships gleich zwei weltweite Serien in unterschiedlichen Klassen. MUD besitzt die Lizenz für beide und zeigt offizielle Fahrer, Maschinen und Strecken aus der Saison 2011.

Natürlich sind mit Aprilia, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, TM und Yamaha alle Hersteller mit an Bord. Und auch die 12 Strecken zum Beispiel in Australien, Großbritannien, Südafrika oder Brasilien sind an die Realität angelehnt.

Allerdings sollte man keinen Simulator erwarten. Im Kern ist MUD vielmehr ein zugängliches Casual-Spiel mit recht vergebendem Gameplay. Das Handling ist in Ordnung. Die Bikes reagieren meist direkt, werden aber auch durch den matschigen Untergrund deutlich beeinflußt. Sprünge gibt es meist zahlreiche, während denen wir auch kleine Kunststücke machen können.

Das Spiel hat mittlerweile etwa 10 Jahre auf dem Buckel und an einigen Stellen merkt man das auch. So ist die Grafik nicht für heutige Monitorgrößen ausgelegt. Hat man einen ausladenden Bildschirm sollte man am besten gleich im Fenstermodus spielen, ansonsten wirkt die Grafik schnell verwaschen.

Überhaupt sind Grafik und Sound ganz nett, aber eher zweckmäßig als wirklich ausgereift. Auch im Erscheinungsjahr war MUD keine Grafikperle.

Das Spiel hat ein paar gängige Spielmodi wie ein Schnelles Rennen oder eine Meisterschaft. Eine Karriere fehlt allerdings. Dafür gibt es einen etwas merkwürdigen Modus, in dem wir insgesamt vier comichafte Fahrer und neue Herausforderungen mit erfahrenem Geld freischalten können. Der Modus korrespondiert zwar mit dem Casual-Gedanken, wirkt aber doch merkwürdig und deplatziert.

Die KI ist nicht immer auf der Höhe. Auf einigen Strecken neigt sie überproportional zu Stürzen. Die Strecken sind zwar an sich recht nett gemacht, werden aber auch recht schnell langweilig, da sie kaum wirkliche Herausforderungen bieten. Dem Casual-Gedanken entsprechend braucht man auf den meisten Strecken nicht einmal Testrunden, um sturzfrei eine recht passable Zeit zu erreichen.

"MUD Motocross World Championship" war zu seiner Zeit ein nettes, unkompliziertes Rennspiel. Man merkt ihm aber an zu vielen Stellen das Alter an und heute gibt es zu viele bessere Titel. Insofern ist das Game eher noch für Nostalgiker interessant.

Review:
I really enjoyed playing this game. It is very difficult to play, but once you get the hang of it, it can be really fun. It gets frustrating at times, so if you do not like challenging video games, do not get this. Aside from the graphics not being the best in the world, I rate this game 8/10 at least. Very easy controls and it's very easy for your computer to run (I run it on a 3 year old laptop that took twenty minutes to boot up). The only other thing that got annoying is the soundtrack (it's just like fifteen songs that repeat themselves on a random shuffle) and the maps (all of the levels are on a small amount of tracks, with limited options for where to race. Of course, you can fix the music issue by turning music off and playing Spotify in the background. Very good game overall.

Update:
I doubt that this is an issue with the game itself, but ever since I installed it on my new PC, every time that I try and open it, it gives me the following error message:

'The game has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect.'

Again, I highly doubt that it is due to the actual game, but I would like to ask if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone else knows how to fix it? Thank you.

El modo MUD World Tour es bastante recomendable. Consiste en un modo historia a través de 4 personajes y muchas pruebas al más puro estilo RPG. No hay selector de dificultad, pero siempre se puede farmear y subir los estats a tu personaje preferido.
El modo campeonato oficial tiene todas las licencias pero no es tan interesante y el On-line esta cerrado.
A nivel gráfico aún aguanta bien, pero la resolución máxima es de 1080p y no está adaptado a monitores Ultrawide.
En oferta es un muy buen juego :)

Играл до этого только в MXGP от тех же разработчиков и могу сказать, что в этой игре настоящие только имена гонщиков, названия трасс и тд. Но сами трассы выдуманные. Но от этого они хуже не стали. Игра - добротная аркада, проста в управлении и в неё просто приятно играть.
Помимо обычного чемпионата есть ещё что-то типа карьеры, где мы разблокируем новые ивенты за очки, новые костюмы, прокачиваем персонаж. Ещё в этом режиме есть разные режимы игры, такие как обычные гонки, нокуат из круга, гонка по чекпоинтам, один на один, арена для трюков.

Mix the concept of MX meets anime cartoon series and you get MUD..

This game doesn't work on so many levels and the graphics and level design are just as gross and muddy as its level design. For the first 20 minutes of the game, it shows significant progress. The customization options for riders and bikes are somewhat nice as well as the music. But that seriously is it and you will get bored very very fast.

-Bad muddy graphics and level design. Even the vegetation off of trees looks muddy and not textured well
-Bike handling sucks and the booster packs (They took from the game NAIL'd) do not work in this game

With the current 75% discount, this game is definitely worth a buy. It is a bit more arcade-like, but the handling is still pretty realistic and the graphics are very nice for a DirectX9 game at max settings. I bet one of the MXGP's might be better, but at this price it is a pretty good game after 40min of gameplay.
With VSync enabled, the animations seem smoother than some of the review videos on Youtube.
In addition, 60Hz Vsync On has smoother animation than 75Hz VSync on, even though the game can maintain 85-100FPS on my system, but 75Hz is more responsive.

-Aceptable juego.
-Es muy arcade, por más que hagas buena carrera tendrás a los rivales todos pegados.
-Los gráficos están bien, pero muy oscuros y no tiene para subir el gamma.
-Es recomendable jugarlo con gamepad.
-Lleva unos minutos entender como doblar para no irse afuera de la pista y como hacer los scrubs.
-Música buena como es habitual en ese tipo de juego.
-No he encontrado ningún bug.
-Nunca vi un juego de motocross que me impresione, así que este es más de lo mismo.
-El multiplayer es con servidores privados y los mismos ya fueron dados de baja.

After playing MX vs ATV Reflex, I was looking for another bike game, All Out is just not as fun, and SuperCross Encore just plains sucks, it runs horrible in my Ryzen 7 with RX 590; so I asked for a refund and with the money I got back I bought this game; and well, it isn't a total blast to play like Reflex, but it is entertaining, has some good tracks, and I like the comic book personality it has in World Tour mode. No game for me is as fun as Excite Bike 64, but for 75% off, this one is worth it

I have tried to play this game on multiple occasions now, and it's just not worth it. For one, the "partial" controller support is bogus. Try hooking your controller up to this and you'll see the only thing it does is partially navigate through a few menu pages. The racing is all through your keyboard and arrow keys, and it's a very ackward setup. The graphics are crap, even on the highest settings, and the whole gameplay is just odd. Just a bad attempt at a game.

Grafika pěkná, zvuky motorek slabší; co se mi líbí je výběr z reálných jezdců kteří mají navíc každej jiný "skills" (který můžeš postupně vylepšovat pokud si vytvoříš svýho jezdce), dále ovládání, chování motorky a celková reálnost (teda snad až na Mud energy drinky který máš k dispozici a který fungujou jako "nitro", naštěstí ale hodně omezeně, takže to na realističnosti zase tolik neubírá) i třeba co se týče zpracování povrchu tratí: některý jsou prašnější, některý bahnitější, ale na rozdíl od většiny ostatních motocrossových her, kde jsou vyježděné koleje jenom "nakreslené", je tady vytváří jezdci - jak jinak než ježděním - a jako v reálu tak tvarují povrch tratě, kterej při najetí ovlivňuje pohyb mašiny. Chybí mi ale víc tratí a víc typů závodů (supercross, enduro, freestyle,...), nevyhovuje mi rozvržení obtížností (na Normal skoro pořád první a na Hard ráda když ne poslední?) a ráda bych i měla možnost si krom nabízených reálných nebo už daných jezdců včetně jejich motorek vytvořit komplet svou postavu a vybrat značku motorky, kubaturu atd. Takže dobrá hra, ale na starý dobrý Motocross Madness to nemá.

Could be better. There is no open world dirt biking which is a huge set-back. If this had online open world, maybe I'd play it. The game definitely could have a better color scheme. It's too dark and too outlined to be realistic at all. Don't bother wasting $10 on this.

A very good arcade style motocross game that looks good,runs great and has fun racing, deforming mud that looks like mud for a change, eliminator, one on one, time trial and trick events i think the people who gave a bad review were expecting a simulation its certainly not that its totally arcade and lots of fun but hard to master. p.s. ingame gamma might need adjusting and colour might need turning down a bit it can be to high.

Gleich erstmal vornweg: Finger weg!

Ich habe noch nicht viel gespielt, aber da ich seit ca. 13 Jahren Motocross Spiele zocke, habe ich auch nicht lang gebraucht um mir eine Meinung zu bilden.

Pro:
- MXGP / MXoN Lizenzen

Kontra:
- schlechte Grafik
- absolute Arcade Steuerung, die mich an Playstation 1 Spiele zurück erinnert
- keine Kupplung
- keine Helmkamera
- grottige Fahrphysik
- geskriptete Whips/Scrubs (noch schlechter als bei MXGP, hier hält man eine Taste und der Rest passiert allein)
- Einsatz von Energy Drinks als Boost
- perfektes ausführen eines Scrubs gibt ebenfalls einen Tempoboost
- Schwierigkeit zu einfach
- Bugs bei Freestyle (Stoppie wird als Frontflip erkannt und ähnliches)
- lieblos gestaltetes Freestyle Areal (bezogen auf den ersten Kurs)

Und das ist nur was mir jetzt auf die schnelle eingefallen ist, Ich bin mir sicher die Kontra Liste wächst weiter an je mehr ich spiele. Ich habe bei den anderen Reviews unter anderem gelesen, dass MUD ein Spiel für Motocross Fans ist, Ich denke eben das ist nicht der Fall. Die Lizenzen allein reichen allein nicht und echte Motocross Fans werden wahrscheinlich vom Gameplay selbst enttäuscht sein.
Wer sich für richtige Motocross Action interessiert sollte sich lieber das MX vs ATV bzw. das MXGP Franchise anschauen. Für motivierte Gamer die eine Simulation und echte Herausforderung suchen empfehle ich MX Simulator. Der Einstieg in MX simulator ist schwer und dauert seine Zeit, aber deshalb fühlt sich das letztendliche meistern der Maschine auch viel besser an als bei einem der arcade lastigeren Spiele.

Desgraciadamente es el primer juego que NO recomiendo y es por que el juego está abandonado: Lo compré con intención de jugar online con un amigo y sí, en la tienda pone que es online, pero funciona el multiplayer a través de "game spy" una plataforma online que cerró sus puertas hace ya unos año y por tanto no hay multiplayer ni clasificaciones mundiales. Además de eso, hay un logro bug desde el 2014 que comenzó a reportarse y no se ha obtenido respuesta.

Por lo demás, si te gusta el buen motocross este juego te supondrá un bonito reto. El modo Tour, vas ganando dinero para comprar nuevas carreras, nuevos equipos de moto, mejorar estadísticas de tu piloto (mas fuerza para q no se caiga en baches, mejor giro, mas duración de bebidas energeticas, más impulso en los saltos)

Tiene varios modos de carreras: carrera normal, carrera eliminatoria (cada x segundos van eliminando al ultimo hasta quedar 1 que gana), puntos de control, 1v1 y freestyle (donde se hacen las piruetas).

Dispone de unos 7-8 mapas diferentes, cada uno con su asfalto propio al que debes adaptar su conducción.

Ew, awful game. Dumb silly things like boosts and only being able to "scrub" on certain jumps. Overall, if you want an excellent motocross game, ANY MX vs ATV game will suffice. Literally any of them. To drive the point home, REFLEX : 10/10, Supercross : 9/10. Unleashed : 10/10, MXGP : 7.5 / 10, MUD : 3/10. I'm so happy i was able to get a refund.

jeu qui est assez mauvai. on le compare facilement a d'autre jeux de MX, qui sont bien meilleurs, et plus simple a prendre en main.
Ouais, parce que la prise en main est extrêmement mal conçue, et on se rend très vite compte que le jeu est à chier, et qu'il ne vous explique rien du tout

Si te pillas este juego tienes dos opciones que, tras investigar y comprobar que no soy el único al que le a ocurrido teniendo un PC potente y funcionando correctamente, te pueden ocurrir:
- Que el juego te vaya correctamente y disfrutar de tal (a pesar de no ser un juego puntero ni de graficos altos). Si te gusta el mundo del motocross es un juego al que puedes jugar y echar el rato (es de la generación anterior de consolas, PS3 y Xbox 360).
- Que te de errores por cualquier cosa, en mi caso por el Launcher. En el menú principal todo ok, pero al iniciar una partida (cualquiera) al aparecer la primera imagen de la carrera, el juego me crashea, avisandome de que el "launcher" a dejado de funcionar. Tambien me a ocurrido que no puedo conectar a los servidores de GameSpy, algo lógico, ya que según la pagina principal, se despiden dando a entender que cierran definitivamente los servidores (desde el 2013).

CONCLUSIÓN, ahora que puedes devolver los juegos en Steam, puedes probar si te va consiguiendolo de oferta (en mi caso, 2,50€), si no... ni te molestes, es un juego que no vas a poder sacarle el máximo rendimiento si tienes la suerte de que funcione en tu PC, xD.
