Классический данжн-кроулер с достаточно глубоким геймплеем и за пределами боя, и в нём. Сначала кажется, что бои примитивны, но по мере прокачки понимаешь, что разгуляться есть где: классов аж 8, на каждый класс пару веток специализаций с полутора десятками навыков. Навыки как пассивные, так и активные, причём их ещё можно и улучшать. Лут тут сыпят больше, чем в Диабло, причём с той же самой цветовой градацией редкости.
Графона и анимаций тут нет. В бою ещё модельки спрайтовые симпатичные, а глобальная карта и подземелья сделаны схематично, как 30 лет назад. В принципе, в этот жанр приходят не за графоном и меня устраивает.
Главный минус, который я вижу прям со старта - сюжетная ориентированность! В игре нет какого-то свободного режима или рэндомного старта, как в Battle Brothers, а всё идёт по рельсам, как в Iron Oath, который именно за это я и рефанднул. Другими словами : реиграбельгости тут нет, зато есть необходимость "читать" бесполезные диалоги. Не знаю, может, за 2.5$ по скидке я на это глаза закрою и оставлю, но предупредить иных обязан...

Great Game... As a person that prefers RPG's - This game hits the spot. While I would not consider this a Full Fledged RPG - it mixes both Tactical and RPG together in a good way. :)
What is up with the troll regeneration? Can't use items in combat only before combat so you need to make sure you have a flame flask or fire/acid caster.
Character development and recruiting new/more party members, not sure when or if you ever get more than the 4 you start with, when or if you can afford more because the costs to maintain your current squad increases and if you get a new squad are the worlds monsters going to be at the new squads levels? seems like it auto scales with your main squad.

It is a fun dungeon delving game with gear collecting and some minor faction influencing. Sometimes it gets a bit repetitive but not in a bad way. Fun to play while listening to a podcast at the same time.

I was a fan of this franchise and played a lot of Monster Den Chronicles, back when you could only play the title in a browser with a low end PC. I was happy with this newer installment being super cheap during this winter sale so I had to try something that I loved in the past.
Sadly, the game had too many ideas that ended up not as harmonical as I would wish. A deal breaker for me was the fact that I have zero freedom regarding my initial party composition: You are stuck with a party early on consisting of: Mage, Cleric, Archer and Warrior... Veteran and old players would enjoy the chance of making wacky but useful/fun build like in previous Monsters' Den games: A full Conjurer + Mage party or a 2 Archer + 2 Warrior build... Being stuck in a basic party where you can't even add a Rogue or Warden early on really hurt the experience for me, and there is no reason on why such characters are locked so early when it wasn't a problem in any other franchise title.
But once the game gets going, I am surprised by the fact that missions now have a "timer": you can't walk freely and enjoy the map, if you don't head for your mission, you are done. Bounty system also expires/refresh every month so I wasted my first hour by not getting it done at all. The number of reputation points and currencies is a bit overwhelming for me.
Not only that, while the idea of a Keep with relics and also serving as a resting place and training for idle hired heroes is amazing, you pretty much have to pay RENT (maintenance of the Keep) in a video game and also a salary to your party of heroes (even though I did not choose my roster of mercenaries...). Monster Den series is hard enough so I would rather have some wagons with pavilions around for my ragtag band lacking good items or battle quickness early on (because as I said... No fast Rogue early with crits and no Warden with powerful Crossbows early on at all).
Different from the game before that one, I don't see so far how can I replay it with different strategies, since it feels a game that forces me to play in a way that I don't want to in the early game... Unless I get surprised later on in my journey, Monsters' Den: Godfall is a game that could have kept the original formula, added a few new features and granted the freedom from their rustic predecessors, but didn't... Maybe you should go for it in a Steam sale.

カスタムポートレートは大きい画像でも調整は可能だがズームや縮小の限度があるため300px以下の小さめの画像を選んだほうが良いです。
Low Magic Ageが好きな人にはおすすめしたいゲーム、あといつか日本語対応されることを祈りつつ…。
Great game but am I missing something ? The same "tier"can have a wildly varying difficulty where sometimes its easy and sometimes you get crushed at a same tier mission with having taken 3 buff potions. And the Swarm Hosts are terribly designed. As well as areas where you have to do already tedipus wave fights THREE times. Puzzles give indication what the solution is, The cmpaign has no replayability bc you start w/ the same classes every time.
And...there is unexplained woke nonsense shoehorned into the game. I might lose access to this game if the devs dont want you to know. Well find out.

Game crashes and is unplayable. I have a newer Alienware with a clean Windows install, all drivers updated. It's possible that I have hardware issues, certainly.
But the main issue is that the developer doesn't read the bug thread (which I can understand up to a point) but also doesn't respond to email. Not even an auto-generated receipt, or vacation message...nothing.
I play dead games from time to time. The issue here is that this game is unplayable. I liked Monster's Den 1 well enough, but it's disappointing that this one doesn't work at all for me.

I could recommend it on sale to fans of party-based dungeon crawlers, though it is likely to wear thin fairly quickly as it is not as fleshed out as most of the competition. For something more substantial and polished I would recommend Our Adventurer Guild, Tales from Candlekeep, Dark Quest 2-3, Gloomhaven, Temple of Elemental Evil, or series like Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, or Diablo instead.

Monsters' Den: Godfall is a decent tactical turn-based dungeon crawler. It's simple and fast, but it doesn't do anything interesting and the basics aren't implemented that well.
I don't want to criticize this game too much, it does well what it tries to do. It's a straightforward dungeon crawl, the combat system is remeniscent of Wizardry games or rather ATB JRPGs. The story is an afterthought, the dungeons are simple and random, the combat is fast - this game is primarily about numbers go up. And there are too many inconsequential numbers for my tastes, growth doesn't have this interesting oompf to it. You go through an equipment threadmill, but very rarely there are interesting choices there.
Still you can do worse if you want a simple timekiller with some tactical depth. This game is very honest in what it is, and you may like it.
This game was fun for about 3 hours. Then the charm wears off. It locks up when exiting and crashes occasionally, and since there is no saving the game without exiting, every time you play you must start a new game. combat is pretty basic. There is no balance to the game, you will run into undefeatable enemies which will prevent progress and require a restart from the beginning. It's all just luck of the draw. It's just not worth the price tag. Pick it up for $1.99, but don't but it full price.
Had this sitting in my library for ever, got bored one day and gave it a go. A simple looking game but turned out to be worth me dumping 70+ hours into it. Im glad i picked it up. It might be a bit tough to get into at first but stick with it, its a gem, great for people who like to mess around with party and character builds.
For something that is essentially a flash browser game, this is a god-tier game. Very entertaining and the ability to add custom sprites elevates it to a new tier.
A wonderful (and well-justified) continuation of the old Flash Monster's Den games; if you loved those, you'll love this.
This game is a hidden gem. While the grafics are basic the mechanics work wonderful and are balanced very well. You loot a certain armorpiece or weapon and you can pass a situation elsewhere on the map you been not able to so far. So you improve step by step without ever feel too powerful at a certain point of the game. The challenge always keeps up.
I wish more modern looking games would have such a depht and balance nowadays. This gem didnt fall to greed and is produced with a solid aim. Please keep it up dear dev team and give us more hidden gems to discover.
This game is a great game for anyone who loved Monsters Den and Book of Dread, and is also great for any turn based rpg fan who hasn't played them.
Cool dungeon crawler
This does some things with the combat that is simply abhorrent.
1. Your placement on the map is locked in, so if your unit dies you can not swap spots or move the body out of the way.
2. Your placement determines what attacks you can make, so if you get locked into a spot due to an enemy ability you can do nothing about it.
3. Stunlocking is a feature in this game, but everyone has it so it's very annoying very fast when your team gets stun locked.
This game is a copy paste of the others with an overworld the diffculty scaling a common issue in there games is poor at best

Digital tedium.
Probably one of the worst dungeon crawlers I've played - from a party customization perspective (5 classes with 2 subclass options each), information available to player (if I fight an enemy once, why can't I learn what abilities are available to it?), and just a pure grind perspective. It's solely intended for a massive grind - multiple factions reps and items to collect, multiple parties to manage (which are generally pointless, since there's very few variations on a party you can actually make with the limited class options). Just utterly disappointing overall. Maybe it was great as a flash game back in the day... but as a full-fledged PC release? What a disappointment.

For a cheap game this is a remarkably deep and polished experience.
I haven't tried the campaign mode, which looks interesting, but the straight adventure mode (which is basically one run through a dungeon with the same team) is excellent. Loot feels good, there are deep customization options for the classes, and the combat is fast and brutal.
You will have to do without any animations, but if something like Darkest Dungeon or more accurately Star Renegades but with the visuals and looting of Tales of the Maj'Eyaal sounds like it could be up your alley, give it a whirl.

Even nuns will not save this cheap copy of Hades. The original game was imperfect and this parasite is even worse.
As someone who played Monster's Den on flash sites, this game scratches all the itch for the nostalgia and more. It's a huge expansion on everything, from mechanics to lore and worldbuilding. I like the new open-world approach, which is a surprisingly much needed break from the claustrophobic dungeon-crawling. Completing the main campaign makes you feel like you're actually saving the world (at least for now) instead of endlessly burrowing into a dungeon.
I also like the new classes that are 'remixes' of old classes which have 2 skill trees each. For example, I used to think clerics make no sense (healers that also do melee), and now we can have other classes that mix the healing skill tree with another more sensible skill tree. We can also have multiple party slots in a game so that I could tried out weird builds such as a full team with an assassin skill tree and stack poison damage (with relic) to kill bosses quickly.

This is a great dungeon crawler RPG. For me it brings me back to childhood days playing one of the flash versions. There's a wide variety of unique equipment and ways you can make them interact with builds, but it isn't intimidating or overly complicated in general. It has one of the better battle systems that I've seen; there are a ton of mechanics and interesting skills, but nothing that quite feels to me like it breaks the game, just bending things. Coming up with ways to take on the toughest battles and dungeons kept me engaged for quite a while. Solidly recommended to all dungeon crawler enjoyers
I played the original flash game and it was good in its time. This one is ok if you have some nostalgia.

I used to play its predecessor during flash game era, and I liked it, yet but this, I don't see improvement from the past and it is not up to the standard for a good turn-based game for this era

Let me start by saying that while I recommend this game, you have to be invested in Turn Based RPG combat/ dungeon crawling to like this. Civilization, Runescape, Balder's Gate, and everything in the mix.
But if you're even remotely interested, get this.
This is a continuation of the original Monster's Den games beginning 2008 (?). It is a party-based tactical RPG in which your group(s) of mercenaries go about clearing dungeons, accepting bounties, and fulfilling missions.
The tactics aspect is finding the right parties to move turns with and continuing to use that party.
The enemies are varied by races, classes, etc though with how long some dungeons sometims you'll constantly feel challenged, other times it's stale.
One thing I enjoy about this game is that you can have multiple parties as well as being allowed to passively level each one thats not currently active (with a base upgrade, anyway). It's something a lot of contemporary games have that adds into tactical building.
An early game issue is that most characters are not well equiped/skilled yet by the first optional mission. Number of enemies and healers can be annoying. However, once you grind past this hurdle the game plays itself (but can get stale).
An issue with the game is just age/markets. I've barely been able to grind this due to getting busy or trying other games. The gacha mobile market has also saturated games like these, which is a shame because of how unique and mysterious the game has consistently been.
Overall I'd recommend the game to anyone who was a fan of the Monster's Den games prior or even the 2023 hit Baldur's Gate, but it is a game that requires investing dozens of hours. If you played the original zmonster's Den, get that nostalgia hit.
If you like grind, gathering loot and making builds, you will like this game. It focuses on that aspect in every mechanic. I do, so I did.
I was a big fan of Monster's Den back in the day, so obviously I had to get this too.
The best description I saw was that it was like a less hardcore version of Darkest Dungeon, which I think sounds right.
There's more customization of characters possible, both with builds and items, and less sanity/stress management.
Not that fun imo.
Fantastic, all around. My one qualm, if any, is that 'equipment' is a single category, and I would like to see it broken down to Weapons and Armor separately for ease of looting.
I chose yes, but I can't go back to town after I start an adventure map, and I can't go back upstairs either. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, but I don't like that at all. Otherwise, seems to be a decent game.
dont let the simple design fool you. this game is deep and engaging and I find myself lost in it at least once every night, buy it.

very fun dungeon crawler that's another evolution of a game with Flash game roots. not the biggest fan of Diablo-style loot, but its tolerable. If this was balanced around a 6-member party, would def be more my vibe.
Barely any original content compared to Chronicles. Overworld is clunky and uninteresting. I couldn't imagine a more grindy game for as little results as this one. Most loot is junk that goes straight to the sell pile, even in tier 3 and up. Some of the prefixes and suffixes for items are just abysmal. The relic bonuses were a cool idea, but end up being useless late game as the stat bonuses are marginal at best (+1 or 2 most times), except for the cat, the cat was cool. Save your money, don't buy this regurgitated garbage and go download Chronicles for free as a flash game. You'll have a much better experience.

I've tried playing Godfall a couple times, but I just can't get into it and I don't enjoy it. They should have just stuck with the simple formula that was Monster's Den instead of bringing it into the semi-open world state that it is. It's just not fun, and I was HIGHLY anticipating it before it came out. I just wish it was good, because I wanted to like it so badly
this turn based game is legend lots of items to find and quests to do and u can build up ur base. even tho its a turn based rpg.
One of the most absorbing games I've ever played. I bought it on a Monday and spent 13 hours over the next three days glued to my screen. And, with procedural generation, I know the next game will be different. Game play is good, characters scale well and you have to keep a sharp eye out even at normal difficulty so there is a real challenge. Excellent!
Almost good. I remember loving the flash games.
The main issue to me is the grind. You need to take a lot of easy fights to grind xp. Which is really boring.
Progression is a problem too, the class system is not as deep as it seems and you end up spending lots of resources and time on minor upgrades. A lazy way to add longevity to a playthrough imo.
The level progression is pretty good, and while there are a few small things about dungeoneering and overland exploration that don't get mentioned in the tutorial, it overall feels very nice to get around and have some sandbox time. Having to right-click monsters to see their names and stats (save health) is a bit of a hassle.
For Book of Dread players, the skill trees are interesting, and Ensorcelled Blade is gone (or secret). You can also fight the bosses from that game!

This game took everything I loved from the first two Monster's Den games namely...
1.) "Monster's Den The Book of Dread, which by the way was an OG Web Browser "Flash" game hosted on such awesome old-school web spaces like NewGrounds and Armor Games.
...and,
2.) Monster's Den Chronicles which was a worthy sequel also once hosted on freeware Flash game hosting sites.
... and tosses everything that made the core Monster's Den gameplay loop out the window in exchange for something absolutely irksome.
First they introduced an overly obtuse character development/Progression system that replaced the first two games' easier to understand character development mechanic.
Second, they removed health and mana potions in favor of a very stupid "Supply Pack" system that you can only use thrice to heal your characters, and what's worse is you can also use the pack to unlock locked chests costing you one valuable heal in favor of opening a chest with most likely trash loot.
3.) They made the in dungeon full recovery healing shrine COST Gold for you to use them. It wouldn't have been annoying IF the shrines were reusable seeing it costs gold to use, but nope... it's a one time, pay once use deal :P
Sure they added a "decent" plot story this time around, as well as an overworld map, and towns and such. But man did they make this thing a huge slog to play. On that first dungeon mission the game gives you, I can't even beat the end dungeon boss even with the Warden NPC that joined my party and even if it was a five versus six fight, and my guys were at Level 3. The problem was, the boss kept healing himself and his mooks with my team not being able to do so ourselves.
Yeah Monster's Den is kind of a Difficult game at times, but this third game just made me Rage Quit hard :P
Demons don't like fighting without a host - because without a host, they have 150% physical resist, retaliation damage that scales with level and one of the best dots in the game.
They'd much rather be in a melee locked human.
Still love this series after all these years RIP Flash.
4/10. 여러모로 인게임 시스템 퀄리티가 아쉬움. 뭔가 진행이 자동마냥 확확 되는게 좋다면 좋은점인데... 그래서 던전 크롤러로서 전투와 드랍 아이템의 밸런스적인 몰입도가 떨어짐. 턴제이긴 한데 전략성은 딱히... 그냥 레일대로 진행하면 되니까 아이템이 드랍되던 말던 크게 상관도 없고, 레어템이나 구성을 짜면서 전투한다는 맛이 떨어지는편.

I followed development of this game for a long time before it came out as I was a big fan of the earlier Monster's Den games. I was not disappointed, Godfall is the peak of Monster's Den gaming!
Added part of review: Oh man... somehow i've got really disappointed despite having such a strong & pleasant start into the game.. When i started taking level 2 missions with game's suggested character levels, suddenly the difficulty spiked out of nowhere. I've been really trying to optimize into having the best stuff and yet despite of that, fights that should've been a medium difficulty, i started loosing hard. All the QoL improvements and other great stuff suddenly got ecclipsed by really questionable enemies strength jump, leaving a really sour taste in the mouth.. a taste for which i don't want to overstay.
I'm still gonna leave the thumbs up as first 5 hours were great, but i know for sure that now i feel really discouraged to play more of this and even less of the third game.. Maaan.. what a disappointement :/
Original review: Addictive! The amount of upgrades compared to Book of Dread is staggering! From visuals, to sounds, to QoL, to minor improvements, to big like fast travel map, many locations, huge amount of things to scale up both in world and in characters, the versatile upgrade tree, the even more tactical fights, the quite intriguing story, the loot the SO MUCH!! My god.. i already liked Book of Dread but it was clear it lacked quite a bit in some regards. But this? Perfection! I immensely enjoy playing it and it seems like there's still so much potential stuff to explore, it's mind-boggling honestly. I seem to be on a streak when it comes to adding games to favourites recently and well.. what can i say? This will continue that streak! 100% recommend!
A flashback to 2000's dungeon crawlers with clear influences from TTRPGs and Flash games of the era. Well placed improvements show that oldschool formulas CAN evolve without losing their identity. Explore, die, repeat, but if you push hard enough and play by its rules, you can master its systems. However, be warned if you have no nostalgia for the era that this game is very faithful to what classical games were: unapologetically, addictively brutal.

This game is amazing! It's like running through a DnD campaign, and in the best way possible. It has something I really like - custom PNGs for your characters! Making a bio, name, title, avatar and picture for them is very fun. They even speak to eachother in the campaign. It makes it really fun for that reason.
Plus, the fighting is so simple and addictive, customization with a huge layer of depth, and the class system with two different roles is really great! Leaves so much room for character building. Another game that has that sort of mechanic is Titan Quest, which I also enjoy greatly.
The story, also, is good and actually surprised me from how much I liked it. I didn't think about Book of Dread (a previous entry in the series) as a story-focused game, but I really enjoy how this one plays out! I just wish there was *more* worldbuilding!
Worth the money, Garin is a great developer all the way back to the first Monsters' Den. I was obsessed with that game.

Incredibly fun turn based RPG. I remember playing earlier games in the series as a kid and this expands on all the ways it originally got me hooked!

It's old-school meets some new-school CRPG, it doesn't take a lot of skill or effort to enjoy it, you can plod through it and enjoy it, or you can fool with settings and really work for every step you take in the game, decent amount of customization per character as well.
A fun and expansive dungeon crawler, with an interesting story line tied into the mix. There is mission selection, rewards, custom armor and weapon combinations, multiple parties, different character class types to choose from, different factions to align with, and even different tiered loot with customizations! This game has a lot to offer.
The one downside would be the map view feeling quite empty at times as you travel across it to the various destinations. Should the Kickstarter have been better funded, there's no doubt this would have been addressed. The random events and sites are nice, helping to fill it in, but it can still feel a bit empty. Doesn't change the fun gameplay, though.
If you played the original flash games years ago, this feels exponentially greater than those ancestors. My biggest regret is not knowing about the Kickstarter to take part in growing this game from the ground up.
As you can see, I've played the game quite a bit. General mechanics of the game are much improved from the previous titles in the series (this is the best of them anyway), there's quite a lot more to do, and there's enough content to keep the game going for a while. Main fault of the game is the difficulty: I moved from normal up to extreme, and when you're high level the game is still too easy, especially if you increase the world tier, so that you get epic loot at almost every fight. If a turn based game isn't challenging, it becomes boring. I'll play at a higher custom difficulty and see how it fares.
Other annoying aspects:
- when fights are easy they still take some time to finish, UI is quite basic so you have to select every time a skill that isn't the main attack
- dungeons are quite repetitive: there are several dungeon types, with different modifiers, for example some are tagged as 'sprawling', meaning they're bigger than usual, but since they generally have multiple levels, you could expect deeper levels to have different modifiers, but it isn't happening
- stunned opponents are just as hard to hit as vigilant ones... could at least lose evasion but no
- skill trees are nice but some skills are a waste

To preface, I received all three games for £1.
I briefly played the two predecessors but eventually skipped to this one. That alone gave me an insight into the gradual progression that the developer(s) had whilst making games - there is an obvious and definitive increase in quality between the games.
The game is actually rather relaxing, at least on standard difficulty. This is to its detriment in some ways, though. I only found few fights where I had to really think, a lot of the game became a looting simulator. I found myself spam-clicking through dungeons and trying to avoid enemies only because I couldn't be bothered to sit through each battle.
Yet I still really enjoyed the 26hours it took me to complete the campaign.
I was near completing a lot of achievements and so I think I've seen a lot of what the game has to offer, it's definitely not perfect and is not nearly as tactical as games like Darkest Dungeon, yet it is still a pleasure to play through (especially if you want a more relaxing experience). Looting was genuinely fun, and seeing the different items was always exciting. The shame is that often they are not needed at all. This could very well change on the harder difficulties, and I may return to it to mop-up achievements and attempt the harder difficulties.
Story-wise, I believe it was intentionally developed much more in this sequel compared to the prior two games. There is a story, and whilst it can be somewhat confusing at times due to the lack of prior knowledge, it was entertaining. From my understanding, you're a reincarnated general in a land that was essentially devastated by Gods, basically all of which are now gone (hence the title, 'Godfall'). It was nothing amazing, but definitely could be a solid base for a future sequel, which it alluded to potentially existing at the end of this game.
I did experience a crash every so often, usually after 1-2hours of playtime that occurred when doing an action like clicking to loot something or starting a battle, or even trying to go to the menu. The game autosaves constantly though, so this was not a problem.
For £1 for three games, including this one, very well worth it. I would suggest getting this on a reasonable sale, you can tell quite a bit of love went into this game - that alone I think is worth supporting.
I thought the preceding Monster's Den web game was a classic of the era, I recommend hunting it down with Google, if it still exists, it is still worth playing for its refined, direct, easy to understand dungeon-crawling experience.
Godfall has grown on me, and I recommend it, but it never got the same hooks into that the first game did, not sure why.
The game has had many updates over the years, and it's high time I give it another go. There is also a DLC that is 2 bucks, which is a great deal.
I recommend this game maybe for older gamers looking for a more stream-lined, less loot boxy dungeon trekking experience. The random generation and pace make it a relaxing and satisfying trek that you can come back to for sessions over years.
Pick your party well from the available classes, and get questing. Compare loot and try another dungeon. Some may find this relaxing and fun, but some gamers may find it lacking some spice to keep them coming back.

Macht Laune, für Item-Jäger, Skills sogar erweiterbar durch Quests, Fraktions-Quests, sehr viele Dungeons und Ereignisse auf der Weltkarte, erweiterbare Rüstung, einstellbare Schwierigkeitsgrade etc.
Für Grafik-Freaks sicher nix, aber das ist auch nicht die Agenda dieses Spiels.
Wer gern Zeit verbringt mit immer neuen Aufgaben, die Wiederholbarkeit und den immer selben Look der Dungeons nicht als nervtötend empfindet, sondern sich auf den Inhalt konzentriert, der wird hier seinen Spaß haben.
Im Homekeep kann man mehrere Teams mit nach und nach freischaltbaren neuen Klassen erstellen, die Ruf sammeln können, Erfahrung, Gold etc. solange sie im Homekeep verweilen. Oder man spielt sie aktiv je nach Bedarf.
Es gibt schier unendliche Möglichkeiten der Kombination.
Mir gefällt's trotz kleinerer Bugs, dass manchmal keine Objekte in der Landschaft mehr sichtbar sind, da hilft neu laden.
Das ist verschmerzbar, da es keine größeren Konsequenzen hat.
Insgesamt sehr positiv und man kann es schnell durchspielen oder sich mit immer neuen Quests auch längerfristig damit beschäftigen, Charaktere höher leveln oder sein "Archiv" von Items vervollständigen.
Es gibt auch einzigartige Gegenstände zu finden, die nicht im Archiv auftauchen oder Relikte, die Boni geben.
Alles hier näher zu erwähnen, würde den Rahmen sprengen.
Schaut es euch einfach an und urteilt selber.

Monster's Den's best game.
LVL 1 Tip: Use your item upgrade orbs like +1 str end dex etc. Each one of these drastically increases your power early on and without them, it seemed unwinnable to me.
Very different than Book of Dread but not bad at all. I would love to see them open up modding because this game has great deep mechanics but there are modernizations that modders could do to make this game outstanding. I do hope they continue the series.
Not perfect but pretty cool. I like BoD better but this one is different and fun.

Great open world dungeon crawler/looter that is far superior to its progenitors. Make no mistake that this is a 10/10 for an indie title. It has hidden depths that you wont start to discover until you have put in a good 15 hrs.
