No tiene mucho misterio, sos una "babosa", que "despierta" en una especie de laboratorio, que resulto ser una nave, que resulto estar en X.. como sea, es plataformero, y tiene una diversidad de mecanismos para ir moviéndote por el entorno y lograr avanzar, variado, medio al doping describirlas, y vas avanzando, buscando dar con alguien que logra comunicarse con vos, una onda telepatía, y te va conversando de a ratos. Y no cuento mas, porque sería spoiler del final, post desarrollo de la aventura.

Slept on this game for far too long. This had the perfect combo of platforming, puzzles, secrets and story, with some really awesome sci-fi vibes. And the. After 8 hours you’re done. Packs a punch and doesn’t overstay its welcome.
That said I think whether or not you jive with this game will rely heavily on how you like (or dislike) the movement controls.

劇情很普通，而且玩的時候太專註跳躍了導致攝入劇情斷斷續續的，到後面索性不看了，但對於理解故事主線沒什麼影響。動作手感非常好，玩起來很順暢，沒有常規戰鬥，基本都是靠場景機關來打架的，只打了簡單難度，感覺對於我這種不太愛玩平台跳躍的人來說已經蠻有難度了，不過boss都很簡單，大概死兩次熟悉出招就夠。氛圍感不錯，值得玩的

Вам нравиться прыгать людям на лица и узнавать что они об этом думают? Если да то эта игра вам подойдет. Милый платформер про слаймика (сразу вспоминается песня Мишка Haribo) идущий на красивый голос, зовущий его на вершину башни.Параллельно узнавая историю трагедии людей застрявших в дали от родной планеты и идущие на бесчеловечные эксперименты ради возвращения.
С геймплейной точки зрения платформер довольно простой, что позволит сохранить в целости контроллеры особо эмоциональных игроков после очередного поражения. Хотя боссы и заставят попотеть, да и некоторые загадки тоже заставляют поломать мозг.

我玩的是简单模式？？？到处是秒杀机制，压根没有容错率，地形秒杀，boss秒杀，追逐战又是地刺又是跟踪刺，也全都是秒杀，最后又要用强化冲刺逃跑又要用强化冲刺撞门，还要撞三次，死二十多次才撞开。只能说幸好这游戏流程不长，纯折磨人。

슬라임이다보니 빠르게 움직일 수 없는게 초반에 답답하긴 했으나 손에 익숙해질 즈음 보스전이 나와 나름 친절하게 느껴질 정도로 잘 만들어졌다 생각됐음.
게임 전체적으로 캐릭터 특징에 맞춘 패턴이 나와 재미있게 플레이했다.

It's definitely a game that I'm going to remember far into the future, and I would easily place alongside other unique phenomenal experiences such as the Ori games (which I was reminded of a couple of times while playing).

This game is a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. As a pixel art action-platformer, MO: Astray masterfully blends tense exploration, mind-bending puzzles, and a deeply unsettling sci-fi atmosphere into one incredibly smooth package.
The core gameplay of controlling the gelatinous MO is brilliantly unique. Using your abilities to stick to surfaces, possess enemies, and solve environmental puzzles never gets old. It starts simple but evolves into some truly "aha!" moments that are supremely satisfying. The boss battles are particular highlights, challenging, inventive, and epic in scale.
I played through the entire game twice on my Steam Deck OLED, and it was a flawless experience. The performance on Linux/SteamOS was perfect, even running off a microSD card. Most importantly, the gorgeous pixel art and effects absolutely pop on the OLED screen—the contrast in dark, bio-mechanical areas and the glow of certain abilities are breathtaking.
The story is intriguing and cryptic, revealed through collected logs. Unlocking the Standard and then the True Ending felt rewarding and justified the second playthrough. I didn't 100% the achievements, but the journey itself was more than enough.
Verdict: If you enjoy precision platformers with inventive mechanics, a stellar aesthetic, and a mysterious, haunting world, don't hesitate. MO: Astray is a masterclass in indie design, and it runs beautifully on the Steam Deck. A must-play for fans of the genre.
Really beautiful game that has a actual touching story, is really cute (tho sometimes also really dark lol) and tbh, i felt "empty"? I guess? When the credits rolled, it was just this good. Not a single annoying character, simple but unique enough gameplay and the bosses were all top notch!

Es un juego que podría haberme encontrado entre esas webs de juegos flash alrededor del 2010, y lo digo en el mejor de los sentidos.
Con mecánicas sencillas pero bien ejecutadas, en MO:Astray encarnamos a un simpático slime que debe recorrer unas instalaciones científicas abandonadas siguiendo una misteriosa voz. Y diréis: "Qué cuqui". Pues sí. Y qué gore
Éste es el segundo juego confusamente cuqui y gore que juego en 2025 (el primero fue Nine Sols), y no me arrepiento de nada.
Y ahora vamos con lo malo. La trama me ha parecido al mismo tiempo simplona y artificialmente enrevesada, para dar una sensación de profundidad típica de la adolescencia. Y la única pega que le puedo poner al diseño de niveles es la de cierto infame boss, que depende más de la suerte que de hacerlo bien

이 겜을 처음 봤을 때 애니 중에 메이드 인 어비스가 떠올랐습니다.
주인공이 귀엽고 주변에 기괴한 것들이 널려있다는 공통점이 저에게 매력적으로 다가왔습니다.
트레일러에 넣은 테마 곡에서도 비슷한 느낌이 들었는데 이 회사 전작이 디모였다는걸 보고 바로 수긍해버렸습니다. 아 그래서 이런 띵곡이 나온 거구나 하고요.
엔딩에도 넣은 그 곡은 재난 모드까지 클리어하며 3번 연속 들어도 질리지 않았습니다.
신비로운 곳을 탐험하면서도 어딘가 남모를 슬픔을 품은 듯한 느낌이 저를 MOastray를 구매하게 만들었습니다.
중간중간 들어간 만화도 이 게임의 스토리에 몰입하는것에 큰 도움을 주었습니다.
좀더 많았으면 좋지 않았을까 아쉬움도 남았지만요.
좋은 경험이었고 아직 소식은 없지만 다음 후속작도 매우 기대하는 중입니다. 감사합니다.

Really nice platform puzzle game. Not a straightforward story but it makes you curious to explore and find all the information you can about what is going on.

Ahem, anyways, I'll start with the negatives:
The movement is a bit clunky at times and I really don't like how you're locked into a certain trajectory when you jump, like you can't course-correct AT ALL. You can tell where the background music loops and it repeats so many times it starts to get annoying. A few puzzles can be a bit tricky for those of us who have a smooth brain (like me!), but it's nothing mind-breaking.
Ok now for the parts I liked:
The game is REALLY forgiving with checkpoints, even on the harder difficulties, which is great cuz I died a lot. The fact that every enemy has a name and a few lines of dialogue is quite impressive and it really helps flesh out the story, even though for some it may feel like it's needlessly slowing down the pacing. Then again the choice to read the enemies' thoughts is entirely the player's. Anyways, I was also pretty excited about what was going to happen next, how the story would develop and what new game mechanics would be introduced. And the art is beautiful, of course! The boss fights are very cinematic (especially the final boss, but I won't spoil anything don't worry~) and fun, though some are a tad on the easier side. I suppose changing the difficult only affects how much damage you take, which is a bit dull.
All in all, a fine game :)

在视听表现上，本作算是维持住了一个相当不错的观感。
由于其题材新颖且画风独特的缘故，即便敌人种类不算多，美术也不算丰富，却依旧能够营造出那种浓厚的异星末世氛围。
另外，本作的配音绝对是灵魂所在。贯穿游戏始末的那位“小姐姐”的声音，可以说是细腻到让人无法抗拒。具体表现我就不剧透了，但毫不夸张地说，她的声线可以说是撑起了整个故事的情绪张力。

某一天，它打破封存自己的器皿，逃出了实验室。而理由，也是它唯一的目标，则是去——“帮助一个人”。
在它的脑海中，有一个甜美的女声在不断的引导着它前行。而一无所有的它，也是通过这个“陌生”的小姐姐，有了属于自己的名字MO。
但很快，现实就撕开了那层温柔的幻想——这里已经没有活人了。在旅途中，MO遇到了很多可怕狰狞的怪物，但更让人心寒的是：那些怪物，全都是由人类变成的，科学家，高层，军人，甚至是婴儿，无一幸免。
你问我是怎么知道这些的？
作为一团史莱姆，MO也并非手无缚鸡之力。它可以通过吞噬敌人的脑袋，来读取记忆、控制行动。而散落在各处的记忆碎片，也让它一点点的拼凑出了这场灾难的真相。这些碎片既是过去世界的遗言，也是它逃离此地的唯一线索。

即使经历了无数艰险，甚至那位一直引导它的小姐姐也开始担忧它的安全，劝阻它不要继续前行。但MO依旧选择继续。为什么呢？估计连它自己也说不清吧。
在这漫长的旅途中，MO也逐渐了解到了关于她的真相——她被囚禁着，渴望自由，她希望打破困住自己的牢笼，逃出这颗被诅咒的星球。它们可以一起逃跑，坚持到底并不重要，真相什么的，只要能够一起逃出这里，都无所谓了。

本作的叙事全程都保持着一个相当不错的水准，氛围出色，节奏舒适。唯独到了结局，变得有点拉跨了。
其实我能看懂它想表达的故事，也能感受到它那庞大、悲凉的世界观。但它的故事，却断在了一个非常关键的节点。导致结局并没有营造出那种“救赎”的感觉，反而是让人感到困惑甚至憋屈（但演出还是做的挺不错的）。
很明显，游戏为续作留下了极大的空间。但直到现在，仍然没有后续。那我还能说啥呢？

本作的玩法非常独特，既然是史莱姆，那移动方式自然不同于常人。除了水平移动外，就只有纯粹的跳跃。
除此之外，它还有一些其他的特性，比如可以粘在墙壁上，钻入细小的管道等等。后续还会解锁如二段跳等一系列围绕着“跳跃”进行拓展的能力。
不过吧，本作的跳跃手感可以说是相当奇怪。并不是抛物线，而是会在一定距离后垂直落下。这么看与其说是跳跃，不如说是冲刺。
而在关卡设计方面，它主打一个解谜+平台跳跃，就质量而言可圈可点，每进入一个新关卡都会引入有趣的新机制，气球，浮空，撞击，分身，甚至是操控机甲。同时，它的boss战也是更偏向于创意而非纯粹的战斗，最终呈现出的效果还算不错。
此外，游戏还有一些隐藏内容。它会通过场景里的粘液指引玩家找到那些隐藏的记忆碎片，这些碎片不仅是“真结局”的关键，也承担着世界观补完的任务。
最后，就是本作玩法的重头戏了——平台跳跃。它的平台跳跃在难度上属于是比较严苛的那种，对于不怎么接触这种类型的玩家而言，还是具有一定挑战性的。
严苛在哪呢?我就说一个点——它的受伤是即死的。
虽然本作有血量的设计，但这个主要是给战斗设计的。除了敌人之外的陷阱，如尖刺等，大部分都是碰到即死，直接回到存档点，没有任何容错。这点甚至在解谜环节也一样，很有可能你好不容易解完一个谜题，结果不小心碰了个刺，全部重来。

它的跳跃与解谜玩法设计精巧的同时流程多样，却在人性化体验上仍显粗糙。
它的结局通过一场宏大的演出让人感慨万分，却没有给这个故事画上一个应有的句号。
但最终，我依旧喜欢这个游戏。
也许是因为这种横板叙事类的冒险游戏，玩一部少一部；
也许是因为，它所讲述的故事，确实在某个不经意的瞬间，触动了我。
这是一团史莱姆的旅程，
也是“她”最后的回声。

Beautiful game that's perfectly paced and tuned. MO:Astray integrates reveals info in an interesting manner via reading the minds of the inhabitants. The overarching plot that you have to piece together is both compelling and sad. This is accented by Rayark's impeccable music composition similar to their mobile offerings. The blob-forming is refreshing and the puzzles are quite varied. Never overstaying their welcome nor being underutilized, the game constantly changes it up especially the boss encounters. Underrated gem that needs more attention.

游戏内容主要为平台跳跃和关卡解迷，以及部分跑酷和BOSS战。剧情主要通过碎片化收集以及部分漫画情节表述，也因此故事叙述的情感及沉浸感较为强烈，缺点则是较为碎片化的剧情想串联起来需要收集、整理和分析，部分情节容易出现遗漏，对于不习惯收集信息或者不够细心的玩家来说可能一头雾水或者割裂感较强，但对于整体游戏体验影响并不严重。
真结局没打出来，就记得妹妹声音很好听，MO很可爱，部分关卡比较考验操作（主要是手速和反应能力），整体难度适中。

MO: Astray is criminally underrated. Only a few thousand people have even heard of it, but those who play it never forget. The world is haunting, the atmosphere is heavy, and the story lingers with you long after the credits roll.
MO: Astray is one of those hidden gems that makes you wonder why more people aren’t talking about it. On the surface, it’s a puzzle-platformer where you’re just a little blue blob that can stick to walls and jump on enemies’ heads. But beneath that, it’s a haunting sci-fi story full of atmosphere, mystery, and tragedy.
The pixel art is stunning every area feels alive, twisted, and filled with detail. The mechanics are clever, simple to pick up but used in really creative ways that keep surprising you. The soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING! And is beautiful in that eerie, melancholic way that sticks with you long after you stop playing. The boss fights are epic and hard enough to not make them feel like a cake-walk and enough to make you accomplished something. The atmosphere is amazing, dark and eerie, giving off that post-apocalypse vibe. Very cool game, the movement mechanics are really fleshed out, and while they can be a bit annoying sometimes, it's really satisfying once everything clicks. The visuals, music and atmosphere in general really draws you in, making the story a lot easier to follow.
I don't know why this game has some of the most unique bosses I've seen, but they are a highlight.

got bored after half an hour. mouse controls bugged out 2-3 times during that, not a good look. expected the game to be more like rain world (in some ways, at least) but it's not even remotely similar. exposition in particular is very heavy-handed, didn't like that. this is probably the first time steam reviews falied me, oh well

Don't be fooled by the mystery and intrigue of the confusing and multi-faceted sci-fi story, this is a game about hopping. Playing as a round little slime guy, you fling yourself around to maneuver platforms and solve puzzles and avoid zombified humanoids. There is a definite learning curve to the controls, but you'll get used to it quickly enough, and the save points are generous, so it never feels like too much of a slog. What impressed me the most was how involved (and difficult!) the boss fights were. Some very creative and challenging use of gameplay elements!
Recommended for fans of stuff like Rain World, Hollow Knight, and somewhat stressful puzzle platformers.

手感跟音樂跟美術跟故事背景都超棒的平台跳躍解謎遊戲，直接玩災難難度死了499次雙結局通關那叫一個酸爽，想打雙結局記得先故意少拿一坨加最大生命成長的記憶直接打尾王，不然全拿了就只看的到其中一個結局了，但災難難度通關一次解鎖全難度相關的成就這點對成就黨很友善，最後沒有能把米莉耶的頭扯下來的復仇劇情真的可惜。
我第一次玩这种操作的游戏，别说，还真别说，居然是一个19年的游戏，希望能玩到续作
Surprised me at how excellent it was. Visuals and audio/music are top-notch throughout, and despite not looking like a combat-oriented game at first glance, the boss fights are some of the best I've played in a long time. Level and puzzle design are also kept to a great standard. I played at 'Adventure' difficulty for the whole game (then fought the final boss again at the hardest difficulty for an achievement) and found it provided a decent but still manageable challenge.
The story was pretty good. There's a great deal of text and lore for any looking for it, and having seen all of it myself I can say it was mostly worth it. There's lots of text that reinforces the same concepts as other texts, but all of it added up in the end to build a picture of this bleak world quite well.
A final note for any achievement hunters like myself: there are 30 'collectables' you'll notice scattered around the map. Leave at least one of these behind on your first playthrough until you've seen an ending, if you have all 30 by your first time around then you won't be able to get the achievement for the other ending (having 29 or less) unless you start a new save file. If you get that ending first, the game will let you jump between chapters, collect whatever you missed, and come back to the final boss fight quite easily and quickly.

Fun enough platformer initially, the gameplay becomes more frustrating and demands more precision in a less than enjoyable challenge, expounded when the game begins not clearly marking the intended solutions. Walls and objects aren't immediately apparent unless you squint your eyes and observe every little detail.
Another problem is the story. It attempts to be about something, and its solution is to force your hand and pull the rug out eventually but without the ability to choose either killing enemies or sparing them (the game has the ability to kill enemies eventually, it instead assumes you would always have killed enemies that turn out to be traumatised survivors essentially.
However, my playthrough stopped because of neither of these issues, instead a bug trapped me forever in a room I couldn't bypass because either the solution was too obtuse and not presented clearly enough, or something broke and it was softlocked.
There are better platformers for you to play either way, get on sale if you want to try.

개인적으로 정말 즐겁게 플레이한 게임 스토리는 그럭저럭 괜찮았고 적절한 난이도의 퍼즐맵 퍁턴과 파회법 숙지하는데 조금만 시간을 들이면 어렵지 않게 깰 수 있는 보스들 배경과 그에 맞는 생물들과 적 그리고 적절하고 훌륭한ost까지 제작진들이 얼마나 힘들게 그리고 얼마나 심여를 기울여서 만들었는지 느낄 수 있었다
It's fun. But playing it with keyboard and mouse is a disaster. And I cannot see any effort put to improve it.

story might be a little short, around 5 hours for me, but the story and soundtrack are immaculate. the art throughout the entire game never stops being amazing, and the world building make you want to find out more.

This is a "metroidlike" puzzle game, if you like jumping puzzles from other metroidvanias and boss fights that are stressful puzzles, I highly recomend this game.
Even if this game is a little old, is still a really good game, when this game is in discount is a steal. Cute puzzles with some mechanics that don't last enough to become old. The music is really good (After this game they made DEMO and DEMO II that are musical games, which just highlights more that they are good on that front). I like a lot the pixel art. All the bosses are really cool.
Edited; The only sad thing about the game is that their last release was DEMO II and is not a platformer, I wish they do another game like this in the future.

游戏内容丰富，玩法多样，各个关卡设计都是很好的，每个boss也都设计得很有意思，只要弄明白方法打起来就非常简单（仅限普通难度，最终boss所有难度我全打了一遍，最难的模式打起来好难好崩溃（。）。
剧情的话稍微有点谜语人，不过弄明白后感觉也是很好的！喜欢……
总之非常优秀的游戏啊，各方面表现基本持平，十分推荐！！都给我来玩！！！

面白いが、かなり難しい。
独特な設定と世界観、アートもいいので、SF好きな根気強いゲーマーにはお勧めかも。
Played through it not once, but twice. First completed it on adventure mode, just played through it casually and yeah, it was a fun experience and I loved how the story, that didn't make sense most of the way, came together in the end.
But then I played through it a second time on disaster mode and went for full completion. How they changed the puzzles according to difficulty chosen is really well done. Going through to really complete it felt exactly like that - including the story.
Big thumbs up from me.

My initial expectations were that of a straight forward story driven platforming game. But the further into the game you go the more you see it as "mysterious and dark" type of story where you unravel it piece by piece, with great atmosphere of "crumbling" world around you. And good combination of visuals with great background soundtrack might send chills down your spine more than once during your playthrough.
[h3] Gameplay [/h3]
For a main gameplay loop (if it even can be called loop), you have platforming game with puzzle mixed into it. Over all the game you will be met with unique and hand-built puzzle sections that require you fast and good thinking to pass them. You constantly met with new mechanics and solutions to the puzzles, so you don't have feeling of stagnation at any point of the game.
There are also a boss fights, each of them with unique approach and utilization of already learned mechanics. I was afraid the game of this genre wont be able to execute them well but developers delivered even here.

It's a small but memorable experience, that doesn't overstays its welcome and delivers enjoyable content for a good price.
