Shadow of War is a very fun game to play. Initially, I didn't have many expectations for this game and didn't know anything about the game's mechanics. A friend recommended this game because I happen to be playing a lot of games similar to Shadow of War. This game also has a previous installment, Shadow of Mordor, which I haven't played yet, so I don't know what the story is like in the previous installment.

The first time I played this game, it felt very different, especially during combat because it uses free-flow combat, and I wasn't used to this type of movement, where we move fluidly between enemies with attacks and counters. But after getting used to the different fighting style, this sometimes became easy and repetitive. Fortunately, the game provides appropriate challenges to keep combat from getting boring. The game will punish you if you're not careful when approaching or killing the orc captain.

There are several things I really like about this game, such as capturing castles and defending them from attacks. Searching for and recruiting good orcs to serve as bodyguards, captains leading attacks, or defending castles and engaging in pit fights. I also like the game's nemesis system, where enemies remember encounters, such as escaping, defeating the player, or specific injuries, and will reference them in future dialogue. This nemesis system makes me feel emotionally attached to certain orcs, especially when they die, cheat death and then comes back to serve you again. It's a shame this system couldn't be implemented in other games that could have great potential, like AC Odyssey with its bounty system.

As for the story, I found it quite simple: Talion continues his journey with Celebrimbor to fight and stop Sauron's influence in Middle Earth. I also felt that playing the previous games wasn't really necessary, as this game provides some explanations of the previous stories, allowing me to more or less grasp the gist of the previous games. The main story duration isn't long enough; what makes it long is the extensive exploration and recruiting unique orcs as captains to capture the castle. As the main character in the game, I really liked Talion and how he maintains his values as a ranger despite his repeated deaths.

Overall, this is a very good game, with a very unique system and smooth combat. I had a really great time playing this game. I recommend buying this game, especially if it's on sale as a bundle, so you can experience the difference between Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor.

I 100% completed the game and had a lot more fun in this game than the first one and I'd give this a solid 8/10. Instead of glazing the game I'm gonna shine the light on some issues I have with the game instead.

The devs decided that its ok for some orcs to be immune to everything with no glaring weaknesses and when you come across those orcs you basically have only 2 choices. You either summon a bodyguard and watch him kill the orc for you which to me is lame and not fun gameplay or you google the most OP build in the game and the reason its so OP is because one ability in the game is bugged and that build exploits it. Now that sounds fun right and yes in the beginning it was but after a while you realise that the build is playing the game for you and later becomes lame as well so dont google it until late in the endgame like I did.

Vault breaker trait on orcs is also super annoying and imo should only be a thing with ologs and the best way to bypass that is locked in the endgame when most people probably quit already. And ofcourse if you cant kill the orc fast enough they can adapt to whatever your doing and they can get vault breaker during the fight.

Online sieges were fun at first until I reached high enough rating to only see hacked orcs. Sure you can dominate them and then use them yourself on attack or defense but to me it just felt pointless to even continue playing it. Some people have hacked their fort in a way that once you reach the overlord you just fall through the ground and lose.

I suggest starting on nemesis difficulty since that was the original hardest difficulty in the game, you can switch it whenever you want so really you can start with any difficulty.

All that said the game is still a lot of fun and I will most likely play it again someday in the future. No game is perfect and all that matters is if its fun to play or not and this one definitely is.

Definitivamente um jogo espetacular! A Monolith pega tudo que funcionou no primeiro jogo e eleva a outro patamar nessa sequência, tudo isso com o primoroso e espetacular SISTEMA NÊMESIS. Graças a esse sistema você é capaz de montar seu próprio exército Orc, com capitães, chefes e soberano, cada um com sua particularidade, sendo possível um Orc lhe trair, ser ambicioso, ficar com medo de outro Orc, virar inimigo mortal e muito mais. É simplesmente genial o que alcançaram com esse sistema. A história é muito boa e está intrinsicamente ligada ao sistema e aos seus exércitos, então monte-os com cautela.

A dublagem e a ambientação é perfeita, eu me peguei dando risada em vários momentos com as falas dos Orcs, os comentários que eles fazem são muito bons, em particular um momento que presenciei ao escalar um penhasco e quando cheguei lá em cima presenciei um Orc chutando o outro do penhasco e dando gargalhadas da maldade... Absolute video game kkkkkk

A DLC da Eltariel complementa legal a história e é bem curta, a do Baranor não complementa tanto ao meu ver, mas na minha opinião é bem mais divertida que a da Eltariel. Enfim, tá esperando o que para dominar Mordor? Compra logo!

Na minha visão, Shadow of War transmite perfeitamente o que um videogame deve ser: algo divertido, fácil de entender e que proporciona várias horas de diversão sincera sem ficar cansativo.

A história pode deixar um pouco a desejar, principalmente se você não jogou o primeiro jogo (Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor) ou não conhece nada sobre Senhor dos Anéis. Mesmo assim, ela cumpre o seu papel. Os personagens são cativantes, e o jogo traz um sistema simplesmente incrível e inovador, o famoso Sistema Nemesis, algo que eu nunca tinha visto parecido em nenhum outro jogo.

O combate é fluido e muito satisfatório, dá um prazer enorme sair derrotando vários inimigos. Mais para o final, algumas partes começam a ficar um pouco repetitivas, mas como você já está perto de terminar, acaba relevando isso sem grandes problemas.

No geral, é um jogo que vale muito a pena — principalmente se você conseguir pegar em uma boa promoção.

Les voix en français sont catastrophiques. Les commandes sûrement pensées pour une manette de console. Peut-être qu'avec des doigts façon pieuvre, c'est jouable. Les fonctions répondent très mal.
Le réalisme laisse à désirer (appuyer sur espace pour sauter et s'accrocher sur le mur d'en face à 3 mètres!)

Je ne m'attendais à rien sur un jeu qui a presque 10 ans.. les premiers pas je me suis dit : "ok je vais pas le garder longtemps..." Finalement apres 30 heures de jeux je me rend compte que ce jeu est tout simplement un classique. Les graphismes n'ont pas du tout mal vieillis, le jeu est super long, même si pas extrement varié il y a beaucoup de contenu differents. Le gameplay est tres sympa et on a l'impression d'être super puissant. Ce qui ne nous empèche pas de se faire dégommer dans des combats épiques. Je recommande

It took every things great about the first and dialed up all to 20/10's. Graphics 20, animation 20, dialogue 20, story 13 (If you ignore the epilogue portion its great), and the nemesis system is just the stand out feature, where all aspects of each generated nemesis is just an insane quality. I mean to think the first game came out not even 3 years before this one and there is THIS much care and passion in this final product is just a testament to this studio, I wonder whats their next ga- ARE YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SERIOUS WB!?!?!?

В релизной версии были спорные микротранзакции (позже убрали, но осадок остался)
История местами уступает геймплею по интересу

Shadow of War — это игра, где вы не просто сражаетесь с орками, а строите с ними сложные отношения: кто-то станет вашим верным телохранителем, а кто-то — заклятым врагом на всю кампанию. Если вам понравилась первая часть, здесь вы получите всё то же, но в большем масштабе и с ещё более безумными историями.

О сюжете особо много сказать не могу. По ощущениям, он был тут если не для галочки, то для того, чтобы оправдать песочницу, которая открывается после его прохождения. Несмотря на это, игровой процесс о-о-очень залипательный и даёт пространство для воображения в лейтгейме. Игра вполне хорошо играется и спустя столько лет после релиза, так что если хотите ознакомиться с невероятной системой Немезис, которая генерирует такое количество орков и контента - приятного времяпрепровождения :)

Unfortunately the game breaking bugs are still there. Main story can get hardlocked at several points of the progress, after dozens of hours. The same bugs people reported in 2017 right after launch and expected to be fixed in a week or two. This uncertainty ruins a great Tolkien-light game.

Этот переросток неандартальца заваливает единственную дорогу по которой могли бы потупать припасы и деньги не только оркам, но и его же союзникам, которые ему теперь не совсем рады. Ему говорят - действуем тихо. Мы должны разведать всё. Этот пиздатуный, наглухо отбитый черножопый туземец взрывает вождя орков не убив его и поднимает такой шум что стягиваются все косомордые со всей локации. И этим подставляет своего брата, который в детстве пожертвовал почти собой что-бы спасти этого тупорылого афрогондорца от карагора. Зачем этот персонаж... ЗАЧЕМ?

How could they ruin such a good first part? Every time you bump into the commander, there's an unskippable dialogue. The game is heavily overloaded. I played the first part with pleasure, but deleted the second one halfway through—I just got sick of it.

El juego que es la mejor fantasia de poder que he jugado. El flujo de juego, tanto en jugabilidad como en historia es fantastica a excepcion del peor puto final que he visto en mi vida, muy poco satisfactorio i ojala no hubieran intentado ajustar la historia al "canon".

Un bon jeu original que je recommande.

J’ai vraiment apprécié l’expérience. Le système Nemesis apporte une vraie originalité et crée des rivalités mémorables avec les orcs, ce qui donne au jeu une dimension personnelle assez unique.
Le gameplay est efficace, la progression est satisfaisante, et on ressent bien la montée en puissance au fil de l’aventure.

J’ai aussi aimé l’humour un peu absurde qui revient régulièrement et qui donne du relief à l’ensemble sans casser l’immersion.
Même si le jeu peut devenir répétitif sur la longueur, il reste prenant et agréable à parcourir.
