You get what you expect from an RPG - great story line, interesting side quests, choices that affect later parts of the game, great characters - but its mixed with action packed combat as well as different classes (aka ways to play), which make the game fun and even replayable. Some things feel a bit clunky and the game is on the edge of overwhelming my pc, but it works :)

Every now and then, you finish a game and feel like something is missing—not because the game failed, but because it gave you something you’re not ready to let go of.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is exactly that kind of experience.

This isn’t a perfect trilogy. It makes mistakes—some of them big ones, especially toward the end. But even with all its flaws, it delivers something most games can’t: a world, a cast, and a journey that truly stay with you.

From the very first game, Mass Effect, the series hooks you with its universe. The sense of scale, the different alien races, the political tensions, and the looming threat hanging over the galaxy—it all feels carefully built and believable. You’re not just progressing through missions, you’re stepping into a living world with history and weight behind it. And at the center of everything is Shepard, a protagonist who feels less like a fixed character and more like an extension of your own decisions—a leader shaped by the choices you make.

What truly elevates the series, though, is its characters. This is where Mass Effect becomes something special. Characters like Garrus Vakarian, Tali'Zorah, Liara T'Soni, Urdnot Wrex, Miranda Lawson, and Grunt aren’t just companions—they feel like real people. They have depth, growth, and emotional weight. You don’t just fight alongside them, you build relationships with them. By the time the trilogy is over, it doesn’t feel like you’ve finished a game—it feels like you’ve said goodbye to people you’ve spent a long time with.

This aspect reaches its peak in Mass Effect 2, which, for me, stands as the strongest entry in the series. The game focuses heavily on its characters, giving each one meaningful moments and personal stakes. Almost every mission feels purposeful, tied directly to the people in your squad. It’s rare for a game to make you care this much about every individual on your team, and Mass Effect 2 absolutely nails it. Even its weaker elements, like the repetitive planet scanning or the forgettable Mass Effect 2: Firewalker DLC, don’t do much to take away from the overall experience.

Gameplay across the trilogy evolves in a satisfying way. By the time you reach Mass Effect 3, combat feels the best it ever has—more fluid, more responsive, and more engaging. Using abilities, chaining combos, and building your character all feel genuinely enjoyable. But this is also where one of the biggest issues appears: repetition. Too many missions rely on the same structure—defend an area, survive waves of enemies, push forward—and over time, it starts to wear you down.

Looking back at the trilogy as a whole, each game has its own problems. The first game’s Mako sections, where you drive across planets completing similar objectives, quickly become tedious and repetitive. The second game, while being the best overall, still suffers from overused resource scanning. And the third game… that’s where the cracks really start to show.

Mass Effect 3 feels like a game that could have been something greater but was held back by questionable decisions. Important characters are pushed aside in ways that don’t make sense. Miranda Lawson, who was a central figure in the second game, is reduced to brief, disconnected appearances. Grunt isn’t part of the main squad at all, despite having every reason to be there. Meanwhile, characters like Diana Allers take up space without adding anything meaningful to the experience.

Even the additional content reflects these misplaced priorities. Mass Effect 3: Omega feels repetitive and ultimately pointless, contributing very little to the overall story or the larger conflict. It’s hard not to think about what could have been done instead with that time and effort—especially when more important characters and storylines clearly needed it.

And then there’s the ending.

After three games of building relationships, making decisions, and shaping the fate of the galaxy, the conclusion simply doesn’t deliver the payoff it should. The weight of your choices fades, the resolution feels disconnected, and the emotional closure just isn’t there. It’s not just disappointing—it feels like the series didn’t fully honor everything it spent so long building.

And yet… despite all of this, the trilogy still works.

Because when it was over, I felt it. That emptiness. That sense that something meaningful had come to an end. Few games manage to create that feeling, and Mass Effect does it effortlessly.

For all its flaws, Mass Effect Legendary Edition remains a deeply memorable experience. It’s a trilogy defined by incredible characters, a rich and engaging universe, and a sense of connection that most games never achieve. It may stumble, especially at the finish line, but the journey it offers is still one of the most impactful in gaming.

And sometimes, that’s what matters most.

1,2,3と一気にプレイしました。見た目は個性豊かなキャラクターが多くとても人間味があり、冒険するうちに物語に入り込んでしまいます。恋愛要素もあり２、３辺りで攻略対象のキャラが増えます。すべてクリアした後は長編映画を見たような気分になりました。１は見た目の古さが気になりますが、そこでの選択が続編につながるため是非シリーズすべてをプレイして欲しい作品です。

It's good. There are some clear differences between the old versions of the games but it's so negligible you wouldn't notice if you haven't played in 10+ years. Runs fine, looks great.

The only problem I have with the game is that I cant stick with it like how I used to as a kid. I used to play through the entire series in a week or two but now I get through like one mission and then put the game down only to pick it back up a few months later. It has to be the games fault, I'm unemployed I should be playing this more lol

Emotional mess (effect)..
I played ME in cursed order (3-->1-->2) back then. I told myself, I'd come back later to do it right, and of course forgot about it.. too many games to play.. too little time. Until recently.
I completed the trilogy yesterday and literally had tears in my eyes. The story.. the characters.. the nostalgia.. Now I'm sitting here with a severe case of post-game blues, feeling both happy and sad at the same time.
So yeah.. I highly recommend it (even though I dislike the EA launcher / concept).

There's no reason not try it. The story is good and overall the game is pretty unique. It's also often on sale for very cheap; a bargain considering what you get. A mix of an RPG and shooter that blends together in a funky way, which I assume is because the first game came out almost 20 years ago now, when there was less conventions on what a shooter was supposed to feel like. When I first played it, i felt like I was playing KOTOR with guns, and the sequels continued to evolve from there.

My biggest complaint is that while the game has a ton of variety, the balancing sucks. There's just no reason to use most of the weapons, as you will often get handed weapons that are just worse in every use case than something you already have. That being said, I played on hard (or its equivalents) and rotating through your arsenal to keep things fresh is still viable.

I didn't have any problems with EA. The EA launcher automatically installed itself when I installed the game, but fortunately I didn't actually need to log in or use it whatsoever. When I pressed play in Steam it just went straight to the game.

Constant stuttering in the citadel LE1 when running around and small fps drops even when capped to 60 (1440p btw). For such an old game it is surprising that it runs like it was on UE5.

I will likely continue the game for the story, but it is sad that it will not be smooth experience, especially for a game made in 2007 and a small lazy remaster in 2021.

I always adore M.E and the LE is less of a remaster at times, and more of a convenience sake. While it's a shame a few things were lost, i'm still grateful to have had this experience fully again. Issues i had with the original trilogy was lagging, crashing, dlcs not properly working, etc. And i'll miss Pinnacle station, having everything else actually work cohesively with improvements was such a breath of relief.

To me, the camera function was a little disappointing, with it mostly just being a screen shot framer rather than anything with modern camera functions (Personally was hoping to see more akin to BG3 or CP2077's camera) However, it still did it's job well enough.

Visual and less lag improvements did make it alot more enjoyable, seeing my favourite characters in one of my favourite universes again was bittersweet, enjoying every moment, yet knowing i'd have to end it again some day. And thus, came the day. Love the dlcs, love the characters, just hope we'll get more of shepard in ME4, whenever that comes ;D Thank you for this game, while it still has it's ups and downs, it's an unforgettable experience for me, and one i'll mourn never being able to forget and replay blind again... <3 ME is one of the best things in life to me, it's surprisingly immersive and delightful. There's no Shepard without Vakarian, and nothing worth fighting for more than Tali. Thank you.

I still remember my Xbox 360 days when Mass Effect 3 used to appear on the console home page. Good times. I would sit there looking at it and playing the demos of Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, dreaming about the day I would finally get to play the full trilogy. In 2013 I managed to buy the trilogy box for the 360 and that ended up becoming one of the most memorable gaming periods of my life.

Mass Effect 1 clearly shows its age today. Some mechanics are rough, the combat feels clunky and you can tell the formula was still being built. Even so, it has something that very few games manage to replicate: the feeling of discovery. Leaving the Citadel for the first time, exploring planets, learning about the races of the galaxy and slowly assembling your crew is a unique experience. That is where I first met characters that would become some of my favorites in gaming: Garrus, Tali, Wrex, Liara and also Ashley, who was my first romance in the trilogy. Mass Effect 1 may have aged in some aspects, but it builds the universe in an incredible way. It is the foundation for everything that comes after.

Mass Effect 2, to me, is simply perfect. It is my favorite game of all time. I honestly lost count of how many times I finished it. I spent entire weekends playing it on repeat, trying different classes, exploring every dialogue and seeing every possible outcome. Vanguard became my signature class, that aggressive combat style never stopped being fun. Later I discovered Sentinel with Tech Armor and ended up doing several runs with it too.

But what truly makes Mass Effect 2 special is the crew. Every character feels well written and meaningful. The loyalty missions are some of the best content I have ever seen in an RPG. You genuinely start caring about every member of the team. Garrus returning as Archangel, Mordin dealing with the weight of the genophage, Tali facing judgment from her own people, Thane struggling with his past. Every story leaves an impact.

And of course this was the game where I romanced Miranda. She quickly became one of my favorite characters in the trilogy. Her story, her complicated relationship with her father, her connection with Cerberus, all of that makes her a much deeper character than she first appears. In the end the whole game feels like a massive build up toward the Suicide Mission, which is still one of the best final missions I have ever played. (I remember I finally got the perfect team setup on my third attempt and I literally cried when I saw the achievement pop for everyone surviving.)

Mass Effect 3 always had a strange effect on me. I like the game, but it never grabbed me in the same way Mass Effect 2 did. The tone is much heavier because the war against the Reapers has finally arrived. The entire galaxy feels like it is collapsing and every mission carries a lot of weight.

That said, Mass Effect 3 does a great job closing the arcs of many characters. Moments involving Mordin, Legion, Tali and Garrus feel like emotional farewells after such a long journey. You realize you have spent years with these characters.

It was also the game where I continued my romance with Miranda, which made her story even more meaningful to me.

At the same time I always felt the ending could have been so much better.

After three games building such a massive universe filled with choices, consequences and interconnected stories, the conclusion ends up feeling smaller than everything that came before. It does not ruin the game, but it leaves that feeling that the ending could have been far more epic considering all the buildup the trilogy created.

Even so, that was never enough to diminish how much I love this saga.

In the end Mass Effect will always have a special place in my heart. It is the classic space RPG experience. You have an incredible ship, a crew full of unforgettable characters and an entire galaxy waiting to be explored.

And there is also that unique feeling of returning to the Normandy after each mission, talking with your crew, watching their stories unfold and realizing that this group of characters slowly became something like a family.

For many people it is just a trilogy of RPGs.

For me it was an entire chapter of my life.

One of the best games i have played....hell, one of the best media i have consumed. The story is amazing, the gamplay peakes at ME2 and the overall games is just soooooo good. It has various aspects that makes you think days months and even years after you have played the game. I wish to forget this play again.

The only critisism i would like to say is ME3's UI is trash, i could know what mission is the main story or what mission is crucial or adds some more context to the other missions in the future. in ME2 and even in ME1 i got the gist of it but in ME3, it kinda ruined it for me, but i think its a pretty subjective thing, one should definately play this game.

Bought this on sale after having built my first gaming PC. I had played 2 & 3 on the playstation a couple years ago and had always wanted to know the story of the 1st game. I love the characters, game play, story and sci-fi anything in general. Excited to get to play each one in order and re-experience my love for Mass Effect. Such a good game series!

one of the best video games series that i have ever played. originally, i was apprehensive about going through with the purchase, as it's a fairly dated trilogy since i'm playing it in early 2026, but i got engrossed in the lore in me1 and loved reading through the codex about different species and the game world. Across all the games, it was a joy to build my squad and interact with them on the normandy and on missions, some of which unveiled more about them/ who they are, personally garrus is my go-to sqaud member and i really enjoy his presence, wrex, tali and liara are also great. my favorite game was probably between me2 and me3, gameplay wise i prefer 3 as it has better mechanics, but narratively maybe me2 edges it, but overall i'd say me3 was my favorite. However, i don't think there is a weak link in this trilogy despite me having a favorite, they're all so great, and i truly do recommend the games if you into science fiction rpg with deep lore.

После всех 3 частей которые я прошёл залпом могу сказать игры оставили лишь позитивные эмоции и воспоминания. Это было первое и точно не последнее прохождение данной серии игр.
Как первый раз проходил совершил ооочень много ошибок которые дают последствие в самом конце ---> всё что делаешь с 1 части по 2 и 3 имеет свои последствия в концовке.
Больше всего удивило то, насколько огромная вариативность в игре и даже, то что здесь есть отношения с персонажами при том разными на выбор, всё зависит от тебя в диалогах. Лиара ван лав.
Шикарная серия часть игр, подобных которой нет до сих пор. Крайне рекомендую.

The Mass Effect Trilogy are my three favourite games of all time. So heed my warning: DO NOT BUY the Legendary Edition on steam. What a horrific experience. My PS4 disk copy has 300 hours put into it, ran well, but full of bugs. This however...ran terribly. i just did a 70 hour playthrough across all 3 games on Insanity difficulty btw, and once i got to Priority: Citadel, the EA launcher broke from an update, could not play for hours. once i finally got in...70 hour save file GONE. Save yourself, buy a disk copy on your PS5. I am done. i give up. Anyway, I should go.

Se você gosta de RPG, essa trilogia vai ser um prato cheio. A história é muito bem feita, com início, meio e fim, tudo explicadinho sem deixar pontas soltas, com escolhas que influenciam fortemente o destino dos personagens. O primeiro pode ser um pouco difícil de digerir se você estiver muito acostumado com jogos atuais, mas dando uma chance dá pra relevar as limitações da época, foi a única vez em que eu realmente fiz tudo, desde missões principais, DLC, secundárias e até misc. E sinceramente, no decorrer dos jogos vale muito a pena, principalmente se tu continuar com o mesmo personagem.

O primeiro jogo é o patinho feio, conta com o combate mais simples e os gráficos mais fracos, mas os personagens já são marcantes e tu consegue "pegar" alguém, mesmo ele sendo limitado, os diálogos e enredo não deixam a desejar, é o que vai te prender e o que vai dar base para tudo que vai rolar mais pra frente, então aguente firme.

No segundo você será bem recompensado, muita coisa chata é removida (como a exploração de planetas genéricos), tem mais mecânicas, mais lugares pra visitar, andar por aí e comprar coisas, gráficos melhores e uma gameplay totalmente refeita. Aqui é onde você conhece a fundo toda a sua tripulação, como também é o jogo com mais personagens e opções de romance possíveis, então se tu não gostar de ninguém do 1, espere para decidir no 2 ou tu vai acabar enfeitando a cabeça de alguém (me perdoe, azulzinha, meu coração sempre foi da novinha raquítica ❤).

O terceiro jogo é o refinamento completo de tudo que foi desenvolvido nos anteriores, é também onde há mais conteúdo "slice-of-life", momentos mais leves com a tripulação e conversas casuais sem muito pânico.

Sobre a performance: uso gráfico integrado, um Ryzen 5600GT com 16GB RAM (foi o que deu pra montar nesse ano dos infernos) e rodou tranquilasso, em 1080p com tudo no máximo, o primeiro jogo é o mais instável, as vezes caía para 30 FPS do nada, mas os dois posteriores são muito bem otimizados e não deu nenhum problema, maior parte do tempo era cravado em 60 FPS.

Vale a pena? Bom, são 3 jogos que, em promoção, não dá 1/5 do preço de um lançamento atual, você vai pagar extremamente barato por algo que vai te divertir por semanas ou meses, dependendo do seu tempo disponível.

OBS: Se você não entender bem inglês dá para instalar uma tradução disponível na Nexus Mods. Se estiver no nível intermediário é tranquilo, mesmo sendo um jogo futurista, com diálogos sobre espaço e vários termos específicos da área, achei mais fácil de entender que o Fallout New Vegas.

Awesome stroy and story telling overall. It has this Paragon/Renegade roleplay mechanic which worked out for me, i just wish its impact on the story was more refined. Gameplay, in my opinion, is its weaker side because enemies are rather boring and weak and relatively stupid, especially in Mass Effect 1. Abilities in general though are not bad at all, so it has its fun in combat. I have only 2 warnings: The classes, abilities, squad harmony and overall item mechanics changes each game, so the gameplay isn't persistent,-

Легендарная трилогия, а вот переиздание несколько халтурное. Немного подтянули графон, пофиксили пару вещей и вшили DLC (кроме одного дополнения для первой части, оно все-таки потерялось), но почти все старые баги остались на месте, добавились новые, а также вырезали мультиплеер из третьей. Хотя в целом это наверное лучший способ пройти трилогию сегодня без лишнего геморроя.

Mass Effect не про пострелушки, тут очень классный сюжет и лор. В общем мало, что рассказать, поэтому просто напишу о каждой части по отдельности.
Mass Effect 1
Затягивает, прям сильно. Графика нормальная, не рдр 2, но и не хл 1. Вот что прям сильно бесит, так это то, что тебе просто не говорят куда тебе нужно идти, понятное дело тебе дают наводку, но она настолько поверхностная, что аж приходится лезть в интернет. Ещё заметил баг, не прям критичный, но неприятный - правый глаз во время диалога больше прикрыт, чем левый и нет, это не особенность персонажа с какой-нибудь травмой, это вообще у всех. финал супер классный. Прошёл за 13ч
Mass Effect 2
Лучше первой части. Модернизация системы улучшения. Можно кастомизировать броню. Новая система патрон, до этого была система перегрева. Так же введены новые валюты для других классных улучшений. Теперь к минусам, пока ты бежишь(зажимаешь пробел) и пробегаешь рядом с активностью, например диалог, то ты невольно принимаешь активность, особенно бесит в городах. Нет русской озвучки. Прошёл за 18 часов
Mass Effect 3
Первое, что бросается в глаза - обновление мувмента, всякие кувырки, прыжки и тд и тп. Наконец-то не было заданий с набором команды, которые просто затягивали основной сюжет, я не говорю, что такие задания плохи, они нормальны, но мне куда более интересно сражаться со Жнецами. Так же BioWare решили всё таки заплатить звукарю, потому что, то как сражаются эти громадины просто рай для ушей. Заметил, что почти вообще не пользовался огнестрелом, только способностями, оружие использовал только против мини-боссов, не знаю с чем связано т.к. снайперка моя была прям имбовая. Кстати про оружие, ввели систему веса и типа, чем меньше веса, тем быстрее восстанавливаются способности, как бы мне всё равно, я все 3 части ходил только со снайперкой, поэтому мне был даже +. Однозначно моя любимая часть. Прошёл за 12 часов

The first two games are amazing and captivating stories, especially ME2 though some problems with consistency and integrity of storyline started even them.
Gameplay is passable for an RPG, with ME1 being the worst. Always play on Insanity or Hardcore difficulty.

ME3 undid everything good about the storyline up until then - I could not finish it - it was that bad. Even though there were some gamplay improvements, that was not the secret sauce of the franchise - the game plays like a bad gears of war knock off.

So I recommend only ME1 and ME2.

I had a problem with my mouse while playing ME1. The game slowed down considerably simply because I had a wireless mouse. Playing with a controller or a wired mouse solved the problem.

But otherwise, I recommend this game. It's totally worth it in 2026 if you really have nothing else to play. The story and gameplay are still flawless.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (2021) constitue sans doute ce qui est arrivé de meilleur à cette franchise mythique depuis la sortie officielle de chaque épisode de la trilogie. Évitons d’évoquer ici le désastre qu’a été Andromeda (2017). Certes, cette compilation n’est pas exempte de reproches : certains bogues et anomalies n’ont pas été corrigés, malgré les années. Pour les nostalgiques comme moi ou pour les novices, il demeure toutefois préférable de découvrir la saga par ce biais : visuels modernisés en haute définition, ensemble des contenus additionnels inclus, transfert automatique des sauvegardes d’un épisode à l’autre (chose loin d’être évidente à l’époque). L’obligation d’installer l’application EA alors que l’on achète le jeu sur Steam reste agaçante, mais en faire un frein majeur serait exagéré. Cessons un peu la chialerie.

Il est vrai que cette édition n’offre aucune refonte substantielle des mécaniques d’origine : la conduite du Mako reste approximative, les interfaces peu ergonomiques, les combats et le système de couverture toujours aussi frustrants. En somme, il s’agit d’une remise à niveau presque exclusivement visuelle, qui rend accessible au plus grand nombre cette odyssée galactique en réunissant les trois opus culte et leurs extensions. Une fois ce constat posé, que faire ? Rien. On achète, on joue, et on ferme sa trappe.

Pour ma part, j’ai pris un plaisir immense à sillonner à nouveau la galaxie aux commandes du Normandy, avec ce bon vieux Shepard qui distribue des patates de forains dans la gueule des journalistes... La bonne époque ! J’avais vingt ans en 2007, lors de la sortie du premier épisode. Tout est dit. Mes souvenirs s’inscrivent dans un contexte que je qualifierais de plus doux et naïf qu’aujourd’hui : une industrie du jeu vidéo encore en pleine maturité, où les consoles de salon (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) ambitionnaient de conquérir un public plus adulte. C’était l’époque des grands récits solo, des investissements colossaux pour l’époque, d’une volonté farouche de transcender le médium vers le cinéma ou la littérature. Les prémices existaient déjà sur PlayStation 2 ou Xbox première du nom, mais cette génération marque pour moi le véritable passage à l’âge adulte du jeu vidéo.

Bioware avait des ambitions démesurées avec le premier épisode, compte tenu des contraintes techniques de l’époque. Il a fallu consentir des sacrifices dès le deuxième : recentrer le récit sur l’équipage du Normandy plutôt que sur la bataille galactique à grande échelle. Le propos avance moins sur le conflit intergalactique au profit d’une narration plus intime. Cela se ressent dans le rythme et dans le gameplay notamment à partir de Mass Effect 2. Chaque épisode a ses forces et ses faiblesses, aucun n’est franchement inférieur aux autres. Chacun a apporté sa pierre à l’édifice :

- Mass Effect 1 (2007) : l’ambition brute, exploration planétaire en Mako (aussi exaltante qu’exaspérante), l’univers autour des Moissonneurs d’une grande richesse, romances personnalisables, classes de personnage aux builds variés, un design des différentes races franchement réussi et convaincant. En revanche : des combats rigides, quêtes sur la Citadelle interminables et chiantes, Mako incontrôlable et exploration des planètes redondantes.

- Mass Effect 2 (2010) : le virage vers l’intime avec une dimension plus orientée action, des combats affinés, quêtes de loyauté intéressantes (Jack, Garrus, Wrex), mission suicide magistrale avec des répercussion fortes en cas de mauvais choix, de superbes DLC, dialogue nanardesques parfois très drôles. Mais : moins d’ampleur galactique, un récit qui patauge dans la semoule pendant 30 heures, mini-jeu d’extraction lourdingue et inutile, dialogues franchement nanardesques un peu malaisants. Les prémices du féminismes/wokismes pointent le bout de leur museau putride.

- Mass Effect 3 (2012) : l’apothéose (et la controverse) avec une épopée finale où les choix de la trilogie portent leurs fruits, l’extension « Citadelle » magistrale où l’on passe du temps avec ses amis (virage intimiste confirmé à 200%), guerre totale et tragique contre les Moissonneurs avec une fin inattendue. Points noirs : des combats fatigants vers la seconde partie du jeu (des vagues ininterrompues d’ennemis), on joue un peu en mode pilote automatique dans le dernier tiers, fin qui divise la communauté même si cette extension ajoute une fin supplémentaire un peu plus satisfaisante. Discours moralisateur sur les sujets moraux progressistes poussent encore davantage au portillon (même si nous sommes à des années lumières des jeux récents).

En conclusion, procurez-vous cette édition sans hésiter (souvent en promotion à prix dérisoire). Plongez-y, romancez Tali ou Liara pour les chicoter avant l’assaut final, sauvez la galaxie comme un chad et ne laissez personne vous emmerder. C’est ça Mass Effect, des situations loufoques, de l’épique, un univers très bien écrit et profond, une belle réalisation technique et visuelle même en 2026, une bande son mémorable. Rejouer ces opus m’a ramené à mes vingt ans, à cette époque où le jeu vidéo osait enfin rivaliser avec les grands récits cinématographiques tout en conservant un solide gameplay, à la bonne époque de la Xbox 360. Dans un paysage actuel saturé de services en ligne éphémères, cette trilogie solo incarne ce que le médium offre de plus noble et intemporel. Pour les amateurs de belles histoires comme The Last of Us Part I ou de choix aux conséquences profondes comme Baldur’s Gate 3, c’est un pur bonheur nostalgique et une jolie preuve qu’un studio jadis au sommet peut devenir une fosse à merde en seulement quelques années. Mass Effect 4 arrive bientôt semble-t-il, nous verrons bien, mais je reste circonspect. Merci Bioware, aurevoir Bioware.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition – or: How I Learned to Save the Galaxy While Permanently Hiding Behind Crates

What I loved
The galaxy: So detailed I ended up reading Codex entries like academic papers. I now know more about Mass Relays than about my own car.
The story: Starts calmly, ends with me emotionally flattened. Plot twists, reveals, shocks — I basically oscillated between “WHAT?!” and “NOOO!” for three games straight.
Choices: Every decision matters. Some immediately, some 40 hours later when you’ve forgotten you even made a choice. Surprise!
Characters: I set out to save the galaxy but spent 80% of my time chatting with my crew. Zero regrets.
Soundtrack & atmosphere: Epic. So epic that I suddenly felt like I had to fight the Reapers while cooking dinner.

What made me laugh, cry, or roll my eyes
Gameplay: An RPG that sometimes feels like “Gears of War: Intern Edition.” Take cover, shoot, take cover, repeat.
Side missions and DLCs: “Do this whenever.” Whenever turns out to be either "too early" or “too late.” Thanks for nothing.
Time pressure: Sometimes time matters. Sometimes it doesn’t. The game won’t tell you which. Good luck guessing!
Dialogue logic: Some choices unlock future options. Others don’t. Why? No idea. Shepard doesn’t know either.
The ending: After three games of buildup… seriously? The game was made for the players! They don't deserve that.

Verdict
9/10 – Would save the galaxy again while crouching behind a crate.
Mass Effect - Legendary Edition is monumental, emotional, occasionally frustrating, but always unforgettable. A must-play for anyone who loves story-driven games — and doesn’t mind the universe being a little… quirky.

Mass Effect has been known for years as a beloved game franchise by all who say it's name and after 100 hours and beating all three games in the original trilogy for the first time, I can say that praise is warranted.

In a game industry filled with sci-fi shooters like DOOM, Battlefront, Destiny, and notably it's main predecessor, Halo, Mass Effect does an excellent job of setting itself apart from the get-go by making it one of the most immersive video game experiences I've ever played in the shooter genre, which is a tall order for a game series set entirely in a different universe from our own. Straight from the tutorial of Mass Effect 1 you're seamlessly introduced to the universe you're in, it's past, it's present, and glimpses into it's future. The ability to interact with characters and the world you're in takes plenty from one of my favorite elements of BioWare's later game, The Old Republic, while putting into a more straightforward experience linear experience more expected of a shooter, providing you with a clear goal but more freedom to exist as a human in this space unlike the Halo original trilogy.

Really to keep that comparison going, Mass Effect at it's core feels like Halo but providing you with considerably more freedom, choice, and knowledge of the universe than Halo ever did, while still feeling more "on the rails" and straightforward with mission based levels unlike a more true open world RPG like Fallout or Cyberpunk. It's fun, it's cool, and outside of some less than optimal story choices in ME2, will almost never leave you disappointed.

Would highly recommend for any sci-fi or shooter fan.

Foram exatas 140 horas de jogo, fazendo tudo que podia fazer em todos os 3 jogos, Mass effect é uma experiência que você pode fazer muitas vezes, e foi uma experiência que pude fazer duas vezes, já tinha feito uma run no mass effect 1 e 2, e pude ter a oportunidade de fazer uma segunda vez e assim, seguir para o terceiro jogo. Foram as semanas mais divertidas aonde pude distrair minha cabeça. Ele é um jogo aonde cada escolha tem um certo peso, o caminho de paragon ou renegado, se você fez isso ou aquilo, isso tudo vai pesando ao longo dos jogos, você se conecta com os personagens e sua história, você cria laços de amizade e amor que não tem sequer explicação, você sente aquilo, você se apega e quer proteger todos. Você sente o peso das suas responsabilidades por cada um deles, a mudança de ambiente e até mesmo a sua própria mudança do primeiro ao terceiro jogo é algo que sinceramente quem jogou sem as dlcs eu devo dizer, vocês são guerreiros e eu tiro meu chapéu, porquê se não fossem as dlcs eu estaria completamente destruída, pois no terceiro jogo eu sentia que carregava o peso do mundo nos ombros e temia por todos os que me importavam. Em si eu me diverti muito, senti um misto de emoções, eu chorei, eu ri, passei raiva, mas cada segundo valeu a pena, cada momento foi importante. E não ia esquecer, o romance com o Garrus é um dos melhores romances dos jogos, e me proporcionou momentos INCRÍVEIS, de um amigo a melhor amigo, até enfim um namorado e um parceiro incrível. Bom, o que posso dizer enfim nessa conclusão? Mass Effect é um jogo que vai te dar momentos incríveis e emocionantes muitas vezes, então se você que leu até aqui ver isso, aproveite cada momento do jogo, vá de cabeça, você não vai se arrepender. <3

Wouldn't recommend the LE if you already own the games.
If you don't : it's a choice between annoyance of transferring your save from one game to the other (which isn't THAT annoying) vs a myriad of new bugs and crashes.

Otherwise it's pretty much the same games with some changes in gameplay depending on your class ... uh and some new graphics from what I've heard, but don't look too closely.

I'm old enough to still remember when I first bought and ran through the first Mass Effect game back in late 2007 and how much this game just hooked me in. I bought every DLC and game after that moving forward. I've read through a ton of the lore from each race, main characters, and events that happened in game to better understand the series as I played along. I still remember doing my first ever insanity run of the trilogy in mid 2013 right after the Citadel DLC launched and how playing through the whole trilogy back to back to back on the hardest difficulty brought me to tears once I got the end of Mass Effect 3 because of how immersed I was.

I usually try and do a play through of this game once every few years just because of how much I love and praise this trilogy. Outside of the missing Pinnacle Station DLC from Mass Effect 1 (which is available as a mod on Nexus Mods), this is a fantastic remake of the original trilogy. The base game looks just as good as my modified version of the original trilogy. All the QoL improvements are so very welcomed! It's brining back one of the greats, the way I think it should be done, and we still have plenty of mods so you can do even more with this trilogy now that ever.

If you're still on the fence about buying this game and playing it through, I'll leave you with this. It's currently early 2026 when I'm writing this, over 20 years since Mass Effects was first teased back in 2005 at X05, and there are very few games nowadays that hold a candle to any of the Mass Effect games, let alone the whole trilogy. You get some of the best music and sound design, mixed with some of the most memorable and interesting characters of any game, and a main and side story that keeps you on the edge of you seat the whole time. While no game is perfect, this trilogy ticks all the boxes for me personally. I seriously can't recommend this gaming experience enough to anyone. It's well worth the money and the hours that will get sunk into it!

Don't thank me, but thank yourself for experiencing one of the great masterpieces in all of gaming history!

MASS EFFECT FUE TODA UNA EXPERIENCIA

primero y principal yo ya sabia de la existencia de esta saga haya por el lejano auge de la ps3 y la xbox 360, nunca me llamo la atencion en general este tipo de juegos asi que lo deje pasar, muchos años despues cuando consegui una pc decente y vi que este juego estaba en oferta junto con andromeda, decidi darle una oportunidad para ver que tal era y me termino encantando, hasta el punto que te diria que esta saga va a ser lo mejor que jugue este año jajajaja

-La historia de este juego es una locura, la cantidad de lore y datos que hay para leer y entender el universo de mass effect es increible, se nota muchisimo que la gente que trabajo en este juego de verdad pusieron su alma y tiempo para hacerlo una experiencia inolvidable, si bien el primer mass effect tiene sus cositas por ahi como que te tiran medio rapido a la accion sin mucha explicacion sobre su universo a primeras, es despues de ese primer encuentro que de verdad empieza todo, un inicio simple para algo muchisimo mas grande por venir, el juego para mi alcanza su punto maximo narrativamente en el 2 y en varias partes del 3 junto al ultimo tramo del mismo que es tan pero tan bueno, que te sentis mal al saber que el viaje esta a punto de terminar, es una experiencia tan buena que recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera comprar la saga no vea nada de nada de este juego, solo que lo compre y lo experimente de una, no te vas a arrepentir.

-El gameplay en general del juego va evolucionando del primer juego al tercero, el primer juego resulta tosco y pesado, mientras que el 2 y 3 lo arreglan haciendo mucho mas dinamico el combate y mejorando las propias capacidades del protagonista que nosotros eligamos usar durante la trilogia, tenemos una amplia cantidad de habilidades para usar tanto nosotros como nuestros compañeros, dependiendo de la clase que decidamos usar en un principio, si ser mas alguien que usa armas o poderes expeciales.
tambien hay una gran cantidad de armas a nuestra disposicion durante toda la trilogia, mas que nada el 3 que nos ofrece bastante para usar.

-La musica en general la encontre tranqui en mi opinion, es lo justo y necesario en los momentos que se lo requiere.

-Este juego al ser un rpg, aparte de darnos las tipicas opciones del bien y el mal + la subida de niveles y habilidades, tambien nos dan la opcion de tener una pareja en los 3 juegos, esto en un principio a algunos no les parecera la gran cosa, pero crean me que si eligen a la pareja correcta para shepard durante la trilogia, les hara amar un mas este juego, si bien el 1 es el mas flojo en este aspecto ya que solo podemos elegir 2, es en el segundo y por ultimo el tercero donde se pone interesante el sistema este de parejas. -EL juego nos da la oportunidad de usar los datos de la anterior entrega para poder empezar la siguiente parte con todas las decisiones que tomamos durante el juego para tener una experiencia aun mas unica, esto claro invita mucho a la rejugabilidad para los mas locos por saber que pasa si le decis a x personaje que se vaya al carajo jajajaj.

-Los personajes en este juego son muy buenos, cada uno esta escrito de manera que ya tenga una personalidad definida perfecta y puedas empatizar con el de forma inmediata, todos es general son muy buenos, el unico que tal ves es medio meh es el propia protagonista que a veces parece que habla como una maquina a todos jajaja pero eso lo encontraba mas que nada divertido y no me arruino la experiencia.

-La cantidad de enemigos es muy variada durante la trilogia y van cambiando y evolucionando durante toda la aventura asi que siempre tendras algo diferente con lo que pelear.

Eso seria todo, este juego me dejo con sensaciones encontradas, ya que en primera instancia no esperaba que fuera tan largo y a la vez tan disfrutable durante todo el trayecto, podes pensar que le estoy tirando demasiadas flores por que si pero yo creo que este juego es uno de esos que para entender por que la gente lo quiere tanto, tenes que jugarlo sin expectativas para dejar que te sorprenda a su manera y ver por que es tan legendaria esta trilogia.

游戏体验：下面我会为三部曲分开说明优缺点，不包含剧透。为了篇幅字数我会描述的更简短。

第一部：开端之作，经典音乐做的很有科幻感和神秘感，尤其是“Vigil”和“Uncharted Worlds”。以至于后面两部都在使用，确实非常好听。优点是武器都是热能武器，不用担心弹量不足。星球探索非常有意思，不同的地貌和不同的天空，不但能探索还能顺便拍摄，游戏也自带拍照功能，这功能放07年非常人性化，为玩家考虑周到的制作组加大分！缺点是第一次来圣堡非常容易迷路，绕的人晕头转向。肺活量也是迷，在任务场景里，持有三把武器穿着重甲跑几步虚了合理，但在自己飞船里手无寸铁穿着便衣跑几步就虚了，搁这原来不是我穿的太多的问题啊？！

第二部：系列最佳，剧情和玩法上最有意思的一部。优点是能招募的队友更多，多见识到了种族的样貌。诺曼底号里有了主角自己的房间，可以摆手办和在水池中养鱼，甚至可以养仓鼠。支线任务相比第一部更完整更有意思。缺点是大幅度减少了搜刮内容，减少了很多搜刮体验。还有一个不同的地方那就是星球探索系统，跟第一代不同的是没有了轨道车，剧情需要所以没了，变成了更效率的探测器，也可以理解成制作组想简化探索系统给剧情杀了，这算优点还是缺点仁者见仁吧。

第三部：终局之战，大片感最强烈的一部。你在前两作拉拢的同伴，你帮助过的人，或者只有一面之缘的人，甚至包括前两部中一些报答你不杀之恩的敌人也会和你并肩作战面对最终boss“收割者”，这一部没缺点，要说就是剧情碾压。

成就方面：成就总数为127个。容易错过的成就数有很多。参考指南中的《完美指挥官指导手册》，下面我会讲几个手册中没提到的重要情报。要是觉得指南中的文字太繁琐可以参考B站攻略BV1MY41137g5。

容易错过的成就（第一部）：
重点讲“Electronics Specialist”的成就，图标是对的，但这其实包含两个技能，一个是过载（Overload），使用技能会丢像地雷一样的玩意，用来破敌人护盾用的，一个是充能护盾（Shield），就是图标中的技能，把这两技能使用25次就解锁了。击杀类成就有很多，使用存档回档SL大法可以叠加使用数，有的技能要打在敌人身上才算。

容易错过的成就（第二部）：
在“影子经纪人巢穴DLC”中你要是还想继续和丽亚娜恋爱并坚持保持恋人关系是不会弹成就的，其中也包括诺曼底号的秘书凯莉，就是星图轨道屏幕旁边那一位妹子。

容易错过的成就（第三部）：
无重要情报

最困难成就：
“Insanity ”系列成就，在不改变难度的情况下完成三部曲疯狂难度。我玩的是战士，有时间迟缓能力，前两部玩的都是狙击，配合迟缓没多大问题。来到第三部多了个护盾充能速度机制，所以身上只带了步枪和冲锋枪，不得不放弃携带狙击好让护甲提升恢复效率，加上削弱了时间迟缓，好在能力依旧超模，武器推荐“M76 Revenant”和“N7 Hurricane”，配件方面M76 Revenant选瞄准镜和稳定器，N7 Hurricane用来打中近距离的所以随意搭配，武器获取参考《完美指挥官指导手册》，整个三部曲最难的地方是游戏结尾的地球保卫战，女妖非常多，这时候N7 Hurricane的射速就起到了很大的作用。

“The One and Only”，在普通、核心或疯狂难度下击败一群幽灵级别的敌人。这个千万注意，打完上面描述的疯狂难度成就跳了再回来打，不然变更难度不跳成就的。过完大结局后回档，去竞技场把难度调最低效率刷银牌金牌，竞技场副本随便选，银牌兑换“Elite Ememy Pack”，金牌兑换“Mirror Match enemy”，竞技场调整器把这些选上，记得把难度再调整成普通，队友选择“丽亚娜”和“盖拉斯”这两位都有超载，武器选择“V7 Valiant”并升级到五级，这武器是需要购买的，地点在神堡二楼“Spectre Office”，价格是250000，配件选择瞄准镜增加精准度和消音器增加武器伤害。进入副本后用队友的超载破护盾，再使用时间迟缓用狙击打头两三枪能打败一个，一共三组，最后一组六个人同时出来注意对面的手榴弹，多尝试几次是能过的。

白金方面：看上去127个成就有很多，其实黄金成就也就15个，要交代的都交代完了，祝你们白金顺利！

한 1~2년에 한 번 나올까 말까 한 AAA급 대규모 스케일의 명작 스토리 게임들이 있다. 바이오쇼크라든지, 위쳐3라든지, 프롬의 작품들이라든지, 스카이림, 발더스 게이트, 라오어 등등의 게임 역사에 남을 수밖에 없는 장대한 작품들. 그리고 매스 이펙트 트릴로지 또한 이 범주 안에 속할 자격이 있어 보인다. 물론 옛날 게임 티가 꽤 나는 편이고 반복적이고 질리는 구간들 또한 꽤나 존재하지만, 엔딩을 봤을 때의 감흥은 위에 언급한 게임들 못지 않을 정도의 감동이었다. 스토리만 놓고 봤을 땐 걸작 스페이스 오페라 영화들에 비하긴 좀 아쉬울 수 있으나 충분히 수작 tv 시리즈 급은 되고, 무엇보다도 이 게임의 가장 큰 장점은 플레이어로 하여금 이 게임의 세계관에 완전히 몰입할 수 있도록 정말 수많은 요소들에 충실하다는 점이다. 어떤 선택을 하느냐에 따라 3의 엔딩을 볼 때까지 그 영향이 이어지고, 셰퍼드라는 주인공의 매력, 주연 캐릭터들의 탄탄한 서사 빌드업, 크게 모난 곳 없는 전개까지, 위에 언급한 걸작 게임들이 공유하는 핵심적인 요소들을 매스 이펙트 또한 그대로 가지고 있다. 여기서 이 게임만의 차별점은 바로 이 작품의 장르가 스페이스 오페라라는 점. 스타워즈, 스타트랙, 가오갤 등등등, 이러한 장르의 영화를 좋아하는 사람 입장에선 그 세계의 일원이 되어 게임을 한다는 건 정말 참을 수 없을 정도로 매력적인 경험이다. 또한 위에 살짝 언급한 부분인 조연 캐릭터들의 서사 빌드업이 정말 매력적이다. 조악한 그래픽과 거짓말로도 예쁘다고는 말 못할 외계인 여캐들한테 이렇게 마음이 가게 되는 건 상당히 신기한 경험이었다. 개인적으론 탈리가 1픽이었는데 어쩌다 보니 2에서 엔딩 이전 탈리, 엔딩 이후 잭이랑 관계 맺고 그대로 3로 넘어오면서 잭루트를 탔는데, 3 와서 잭이 완전 츤데레 캐릭터가 돼서 오히려 좋아라는 느낌이었다.

개인적인 만족도는 33원정대 이상 위쳐3 미만. 내 인생작이라고 할 만한 게임들에 비해서는 단점들이 좀 두드러지는 느낌이 없지 않아 있었지만, 그럼에도 장점들이 훠얼씬 많다. 장르의 팬이면서 취향에만 맞는다면 충분히 인생게임이 될 수 있을 만한 작품이라고 생각한다.

BioWare [i]was[/i] one of the greatest RPG makers of all time, and the one-two knockout punch that is Dragon Age and Mass Effect demonstrates this in spades. However, while Dragon Age is a group of unconnected stories that take place in the same world, Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 represent a cohesive whole that represents a master class in video game storytelling. The relationships you develop with the NPCs in the game will stay with you for many years after you finish, and the many ways you can play practically demand that you revisit it multiple times.

Mass Effect: The Legendary Edition brings all three games together in a cohesive whole that does proper justice to this landmark trilogy, including not just the base games but every single bit of DLC ever included with them, even down to the comic books (!) that recap what came before when you start the next game in the series. All the games have been remastered to a glorious level of HD polish, and they've never looked better (this is especially evident in the first game, which hasn't aged as well as the subsequent ones graphically). I was frequently blown away by the many glorious vistas presented before me, and many, many screenshots were taken. A launcher screen allows you to start and continue each game from the same screen, and continuing your character from one game to the next is seamless. The unfortunate but unavoidable presence of the EA Games launcher is mercifully reduced to almost nothing, little more than a window I would have to close when I was done with my session for the day. The achievement system is also streamlined across the whole trilogy so that you can view them all at a glance while still clearly demarking which achievement belongs to which game.

If you have played these games in the past and are thinking of doing so again, you owe it to yourself to buy this. If you have never played them before and wish to experience a truly grand space opera which will touch you to your core and change you in ways you didn't know were possible, then buy this edition and embark on one of the great video game stories of all time.

[b]One major caveat[/b] - BioWare famously botched the ending, and I found that one of the best ways to deal with this was to save The Citadel DLC until [i]after[/i] you have finished the game. It provides a beautiful coda to the trilogy where you get to celebrate with all the friends you made along the way and will provide an emotionally satisfying ending that the actual ending absolutely does not.

Eu não sou o tipo de pessoa que costuma reclamar dos jogos atuais, pelo contrário, acho que nunca se teve uma época melhor para ser fã de video games com tantas opções de hardwares e tanta variedade de lançamentos e inovações em novos títulos.
Porém há algo atemporal na trilogia Mass Effect, um sentimento que dificilmente será superado por alguma outra saga. Fazendo um comparativo com filmes, é como se Mass Effect fosse o Senhor dos Anéis, Star Wars, Poderoso Chefão e afins da indústria do cinema.
Você joga pela narrativa, pela evolução, pelos personagens, pelo universo criado e cada título te recompensa com um final digno de cinema.

I dont support EA,
they closed me out of my ME Andromeda game,
telling me that i had the wrong version,
attempted for 12 hours to get it sorted, with EA's AI and employee support, still couldnt fix it
I enjoyed ME when the Publisher and Studio had proper staff
The EA publisher is ♥♥♥♥, Why need seperate launcher to play their games,
Bioware is dead, all the creative minds that birthed Mass Effect are long gone from that studio.
I played this, it was enjoyable,
I removed this and Andromeda from my account,
Permanently deleted my EA account,
and will never support Bioware
nor will I ever support EA
EVER AGAIN.
Maybe when Bioware shuts down, a better studio can revive the Mass Effect and Dragon Age IP

I didn’t just play this trilogy. I lived in it for hours.

Going back through Mass Effect 1–3 in the Legendary Edition felt like reuniting with old friends who somehow aged better than I did. The lighting overhaul, character models, and combat tuning, especially in ME1 make it feel modern without sanding off the rough edges that gave it personality.

🚀 The Journey

ME1 is still that slow-burn space opera. Clunky Mako and all. But that atmosphere? Untouchable. Walking through the Citadel for the first time still hits.

ME2 is where I completely lost track of time. The suicide mission remains one of the most stressful, perfectly designed finales in gaming. I triple-checked loyalty missions like my life depended on it. Because it did. Garrus survived. That’s all that matters.

ME3… yeah, the ending discourse is eternal. But playing it back-to-back with the full trilogy? The emotional payoff actually lands harder. Tuchanka and Rannoch are some of the most powerful arcs in gaming, period.

💬 The Characters

This is where Mass Effect wins forever. It’s not about loot. It’s not about skill trees. It’s about sitting in a Normandy conversation and realizing you care more about your crew than most real-life coworkers.

The banter. The loyalty missions. The quiet moments in between galaxy-ending chaos. It all builds something that still hasn’t been matched.

💙 And Yes… The Alien Romance

Let’s be honest, Bioware knew what they were doing.

The romances aren’t just “press X for space girlfriend.” They’re slow-burn, choice-driven relationships that feel earned. Whether it’s the calm intensity of Liara, the fire of Miranda, the awkward charm of Tali, or yes… the interspecies tension that makes you pause and go, “Okay Shepard, bold move.”

It’s not about shock value. It’s about connection across cultures, species, and impossible odds. Somehow the game makes you believe that in a galaxy full of war and extinction, intimacy still matters.

Space relationships? Surprisingly wholesome.

⭐ Final Thoughts

The Legendary Edition doesn’t reinvent the trilogy, it preserves it properly. It respects your time, your choices, and your emotional investment.

Few games make you stare at the credits and just sit there. This one does. Every time.

If you’ve never played Mass Effect, this is mandatory.

Что же.. Mass Effect, сложно сформулировать мысли по поводу этой трилогии. Я бы описал это так - 100 часов чистого удовольствия ради 3 часов разочарования.

Впервые прошёл трилогию в 2026 году и все ещё не могу осознать то, что эта серия игр 10-15 летней давности была так хороша не просто для своего времени, а хороша для этого года. Чем больше опыт в видеоиграх тем сильнее удивить - а эта серия игр удивила меня очень серьезно. Это была потрясающая история, сеттинг и приключение, жаль с плохо прописанным завершением. Однозначно шедевр, таких игр больше не делают. История Bioware это самое трагичное что случалось в игровой индустрии, EA должно гореть в аду.

Первая часть в техническом плане самая кривая, геймплейно скучная, но в чем она совершенна - погружение в эту вселенную, то как расставлены тайны, как тебе описывают и показывают разную информацию о мире. Мелкие кусочки пазла собираются в потрясающую картину. Уже в первой части многие персонажи интересные и запоминающиеся. Антагонист не появляющийся в кадре почти всю игру по ощущению всегда рядом, ты о нём не забываешь. То, как игра рассказывает тебе под конец ответы на некоторые вопросы существования мира - потрясающее вступление к следующим частям.

Вторая часть лучше во всем первой, она буквально продолжает то, что было ранее и сюжетные перипетии становится только более запутанными и сложными. То, как тебе показывают Призрака, как проработано тебе раскрывают тайны Коллекционеров и какую хтоническую жуть на тебя навевают настоящие враги, которые ещё даже не начали делать то, что ждет в следующей части. Из минусов только однообразные локации и враги.

Третья часть крайне спорная в трилогии, но тем не менее будет лучше любой современной игры. Геймплей наконец-то стал разнообразнее. Сюжетное накаливание идёт максимальное. Это уже не что-то неизвестное что угрожает всему, это буквально полномасштабная война, в которой ты и твои действия - ключевое звено. Ты подводишь к итогу все что делал в предыдущих играх. Ложкой дёктя является более слабая сценарная работа, антагониста-гения второй части просто сделали глупой марионеткой. И самое горькое - слитые концовки, т.н. "Светофор".

Дальше будет негатив, но он исключительно из-за общего ВЫСОЧАЙШЕГО уровня сценарной работы, который явно хуже в завершающей части. Основной сюжет все ещё отличный по стилю и эмоциям, но по логике событий весьма глупый.
Я принимаю тот факт что ИИ мог рассудить что-то кардинально не так, как живые мы. Я не могу принять то, что мы создавая Горн(источник энергии для ИИ), якобы меняем его из-за его невозможность расчитать что делать дальше. Это лютейшая чушь.
Каждый цикл заканчивается созданием жнеца, только мы уничтожили четырех минимум, два прошлых цикла технологично превосходили нас.
Призрака впринципе слили, сделав из прагматичного хитрого игрока буквально дурачка. А если он был под влиянием жнецов до вживления имплантов, это не ответит на вопрос в чем особенность Шепарда, жнецы так и не смогли индоктринировать нас, при условии постоянно контакта с ними, чего не было у Призрака. Лично я всё это не принимаю и считаю фанатскую версию, что Шепард в третьей части сам индоктринирован более подходящей по внутренней логике происходящего в игре

Mass Effect is one my favorite games, I wish I could forget everything and play it again like the first. Most of the time in ME1 I spend it in the elevator but even then everything else is so great that I didn't sleep for two days.
Truly a masterpiece that left depressed after finishing it.
It's obviously not perfect but is doesn't need to be,

Mass Effect trilogy is seriously one of the best RPG experiences I have ever played. I never grew up with these games and as someone who has always leaned more toward JRPGs than Western RPGs, I usually struggle to get into most Western RPGs, but Mass Effect completely grabbed me. The gameplay is so much fun. Combat feels fast and tactical, mixing shooting, powers, and squad coordination in a way that keeps every fight interesting. On top of that, the RPG elements such as dialogue choices, skill upgrades, and decisions that actually change the story make it feel personal and meaningful.

All three games still hold up really well, especially with the remastered versions. The graphics have aged surprisingly nicely and the updates make the worlds feel alive. From the bustling streets of the Citadel to the alien landscapes of distant planets, everything looks amazing, and the soundtrack just adds to the epic feel. Playing this trilogy really shows BioWare at their absolute best and makes me super curious to check out Dragon Age: Origins and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The story itself is incredible. Every character has their own personality and backstory and your choices genuinely matter, which makes the universe feel alive. It is the kind of game where your actions actually feel like they have weight and that is something I really love. If you are into RPGs or just love a good narrative-driven sci-fi game, this trilogy is a must-play. Between the gameplay, the story, the characters, and the world-building, it is an experience that sticks with you long after you finish it.

I absolutely love this trilogy. LOVE. IT. I wanted to play it again the second I finished it. Amazing games.

I played on steam deck, but only after my husband fussed with some workarounds to get the launcher to work for me. I wish they’d fix that because playing this on the deck was fantastic.

Best game BioWare ever made along with Andromeda! Amazing Story!
Played through the original releases many times as well the Legendary edition! So many choices to make, all will effect the story.
