玛莎已死–7.5/10恐怖悬疑游戏爱好者值得入手。
流程5小时左右，以二战时期一个德军军官女儿作为第一视角叙事，首先游戏的恐怖氛围和迷雾重重的情节非常吸引人，情节抽丝剥茧，最后真相一点点浮出水面。中间的恐怖情节包含一些血腥场面，超出常规，心理测试能力弱者慎入。游戏剧情叙事整体来说还算可以，喜欢悬疑恐怖故事体验的玩家可以尝试。
游戏中照相机的使用、洗照片使人印象深刻，让玩家了解到当年旧相机的出片流程，作为现代玩家能体验一下还是不错的，丰富知识面。
总体来说给我带来了还不错的体验，包含一些反战思想和精神病人的社会议题，升华主题，也不算惊艳，但是值得一试的佳作。

Richtig gutes Spiel. Ich habe bis jetzt keine großen Bugs erlebt, nur hin und wieder ein bisschen Stottern. Ich spiele das Spiel in Italienisch, da ich zweisprachig bin und zumindest die italienische Synchro ist sehr gut gemacht. Das Spiel ist düster und packend. Ich bin sehr gespannt was mich noch erwartet, den Kommentaren zufolge kommt noch einiges auf mich zu.

Freue mich schon drauf und auch aufs neue Spiel, das sie im Dezember ankündigten

Еще ни разу в играх не видел того, что перед началом писали что если вам или вашим близким нужна психологическая помощь и т.д. обращайтесь на сайт, где вам помогут, и после прохождения сразу становится ясно почему
Игра мерзкая до мурашек, но максимально интересная, сначала вроде понимаешь сюжет, а потом ♥♥♥ разберешь что правда, а что ложь.
Механика фотографии очень хороша, а Проявка фото еще лучше. Можно делать абсолютно любые фотки, хотя смысла особого нету.
Игра красивая, особенно когда там туманное утро, но днем лес выглядит чуть корявенько, но это не прям мешает.
В итоге - Очень мерзкий и максимально интересный психологический триллер, который затягивает и не отпускает до самого конца.

Una mañana, Giulia descubre en el lago el cuerpo sin vida de una joven, su hermana. Sus padres la sorprenden en el acto y la confunden con Martha, por lo que Giulia, en un momento de desesperación, decide usurpar la identidad de su hermana y fingir su propia muerte. Cool story telling with psychological horror. Games also touches on mental illness, I haven't experienced or encountered mental illness before, but if it's has terrible and horrific as portrayed help is definitely required. The way it's portrayed makes you feel shook and is really surreal.

I do wish there was an option for "indepth" photography instead of the quick development of photos.

Martha is Dead es el segundo juego de este estilo de LKA, y tengo que decir que me ha gustado mucho. Quizá no tanto como Town Of Light (juego que recomiendo si te gusta este). La historia tiene momentos muy crudos y el argumento es bastante duro, así que no es para todo el mundo. Recomiendo las voces en italiano ya que el estudio es de allí y están muy bien.

[b] PROS [/b]

- El juego gráficamente es espectacular, da gusto ver los escenarios del juego. Es un trabajo que ya en Town of Light me dejó con la boca abierta, y lo han vuelto a hacer.

- Un juego sin tapujos, que no duda en hablar de enfermedades mentales sin miramientos. Hay escenas muy crudas, aunque el juego permite censurarlas en buena medida.

- Te mantiene en vilo intentando entender qué le pasó a la protagonista, además tiene algunos giros muy turbios que dejan roto.

- No es ni muy corto ni muy largo, la primera vez me lo pasé en unas 10 horas, literalmente haciendo fotos a cosas que no eran ni de la historia.

- El minijuego de hacer fotos es sencillo y entretenido. Y eso que odio hacer fotos en los juegos (va por ti Monster Hunter Rise...).

[b] CONTRAS [/b]

- El rendimiento a veces no es el ideal. Ha habido en dos zonas (una casa y el cementerio), donde he podido atravesar el escenario y ver las texturas, y quedarme atrapado. Luego había un poco de popping.
La detección de elementos no ha sido siempre fácil, aunque nada grave.

- El control de los vehículos... muy muy deficiente. La bici es horrenda de conducir, y la lancha para bajarte en la isla, pues así así, aunque se usan prácticamente nada ambos, pero están poco trabajados.

Para acabar, decir que es un juego que está muy bien de precio para lo que ofrece, y es una experiencia muy distinta a la mayoría de juegos. No tiene terror como tal mas que en un par de ocasiones. Yo hablaría más de mal rollo que miedo. Muy recomendado.

Analogue photo shooting & development is the only interesting thing in the game. And the original language. And maybe a horror/drama that takes place in a WWII setting.

Otherwise it's an absolute miss, could have been a undergrad project. Controls are terrible (there's no mouse sensitivity adjustment, makes the game unplayable). i'm completely frustrated after 2.5 hours. Also super underoptimized. I've played much more demanding games with my card with no issues, for Martha is Dead it's not enough.

Разочарую тех, кто повёлся на потрясающий трёхминутный трейлер с жутким монологом и невероятно детализированным лицом героини : несколько минут с её лицом в игре - буквально единственный проработанный на подобном уровне момент в игре. Чего не скажешь про всю игру.
Тем не менее она может увлечь своей историей. Дабы не спойлерить сам сюжет, одиозность и провокационность которого уже сами по себе позволяют рекомендовать игру к прохождению , я предостерегю несколькими технических нюансами:
-Мир, хоть и кажется открытым, на деле крайне линеен и ограничен, а скорость передвижения словно заставляет в нём застрять на побольше и растянуть геймплей
-Это в первую очередь - бродилка, приправленная некоторыми интересными механиками типа проявки фотографий
-Игра крайне не оптимизирована для трассировки лучей, на указанном в отзыве конфиге игра с трассировкой и DLSS крайне часто ловила фризы и порой опускалась до 30 кадров... Впрочем она и не сильно украшал картинку
-Саундтрек хорош в начале, но в конечном итоге словно исчезает на второй половине игры, оставляя преимущественно тишину.

Я бы оценил игру на 3,5\5, в целом в стиме такую оценку она и имеет. И очень даже заслужено. Вердикт: заинтересованы в сюжете, но готовы терпеть технические изьяны и темп бродилки - тогда стоит попробовать. Иначе высокий шанс разочароваться.

Menudo juegazo, excelente por la historia, notable por la calidad del gameplay y por cómo está realizado.

Es un juego con una historia dura, trágica, que toca temas muy reales acerca de la psicología humana, enfrentándote a la dureza que es tener una mente trastornada debido a los traumas de infancia. El ambiente, contextualizado dentro de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, le dan este extra de terror a la trama.
Con las mecánicas de la cámara, hacer fotos, y descubrir rincones siniestros para avanzar en la historia, hacen que el gameplay sea bastante divertido y atrapante.

Gráficamente es muy bonito. Eso sí, tiene algunos problemas de rendimiento (tirones, popping de texturas...), pero en general nada de que preocuparse.
El apartado sonoro es muy bueno, sobre todo la banda sonora es sublime, con piezas musicales muy turbias y otras más alegres.

En general, nos encontramos ante un thriller psicológico muy recomendable, inmersivo y con una forma de narrar la historia muy cautivadora. Bastante rejugable para ver otras opciones y reinterpretar la historia de otra forma.
Eso sí, es un juego básicamente para el público adulto, presentando situaciones y escenas que pueden ser un tanto difíciles de digerir para ciertas personas.

很晦涩难懂的游戏，打了两遍流程也没读懂这个剧情到底是怎么样的，骑车的设计很新颖不过动作略感僵硬，室外的空气墙也有点缺乏明显提示经常被拦住很出戏。不过就恐怖类型的步行模拟器而言做得很不错，场景音乐很有质感，很漂亮的意大利乡村风，女主视角的讲述在平静中有一种张力，代入感极强，玩过很多恐怖游戏，但玛莎已死的场景和玩法是我唯一一个玩着会有生理性反胃的感觉的，冲着这个票价也值了，剧情确实没看懂，之后找解说补一下吧

It has some technical issues but if you can get past that (and you should it's worth it) the story is really well done and original. I should clarify that I had no game breaking bugs or crashes, it was just a bit jittery. I give this a 9/10 with a point lost based on the jitter and the controls being just "okay". The story however is amazing and had me on the edge of my seat. Everyone should experience this story.

Gli horror che piacciono a me: senza jump scare inutili e vagonate di sangue ma semplice e diretto con storia criptica e disturbante a livello psicologico. Dove pensi di aver capito vagamente come sono andati gli eventi e poi arriva la nuda e cruda realtà a darti uno schiaffo violento dicendoti che le cose sono andate in un modo molto peggiore.
Peccato che, almeno con Nvidia, è ottimizzato da schifo. La mia soluzione per ridurre lag, scatti, drop di fps è stato disattivare il Ray Tracing e tenendo attivo il DLSS.

Martha is Dead is a strange game. Initially presented as a horror game where you are investigating a potential paranormal murder, it morphs into a drama of wartime and family secrets. There are some puzzles that grind the tension completely flat, some serious performance issues in the final acts (a 5070 shouldn't be struggling to render 60 frames of a UE4 game from 2022) and the finale is baffling and at times frustrating, but overall I enjoyed the ride and the photography development mechanics were a welcome change from the "go here, click this" mode of investigation games. Had I first seen this as a film, I probably would have enjoyed it a lot more - ultimately, the few choices you get to make during the story have no impact beyond dialog (and one even fired incorrectly in my case, so the fate of the partisans didn't even match the choice I had made earlier in the story).

And when the developers give you a warning that something will be graphic, they mean it. Don't be afraid to use the censor options if you're squeamish about gore.

это, ребята, такая лютая духота... я не знаю как я прошел это дерьмо. Нет, игра красивая спору нет, но это скорее квест в масштабе 1 небольшое локации состоящей из леса и дома-200х200 метров и вы вот ходите душните выполняете задания девки у которой неполадки с башней, причем в конце игры вы не получите ответов на вопросы-а что это за дерьмо было? да бывают сцены расчлененки и прочего , но вы когда сквозь духоту доходите до этих моментов появляется одна мысль-ну давай ты быстрее уже а. Я до сих пор не представляю как я это все не скипнул когда то телеграфа дошел на котором Морзе надо печатать и расшифровывать обратные сообщения, как все это медленно нудно.... ля короче это прям труба. Может быть жанр просто не мой, не знаю, но ощущения от этой игры просто вот пройти коль уж купил получить карточки и забыть. Хотя повторюсь, игра визуально на высоте и сама история ну интригует, но она ПУСТАЯ,игра ПУСТАЯ, нужная, медленная и бестолковая.

Крайне порадовала данная игра, и судя по количеству отзывов, о ней знает незаслуженно мало людей
Относительно интересная история с прекрасной графикой, которая повествует нам о двух сестрах, в жизни которых пошло что-то не так (О большем говорить не хочу, т.к это будет являться спойлером)
Начитавшись комментариев, мне стало любопытно, что же такое там происходит, из-за чего людей тошнить начинает, не по себе становится.
Игра и правда довольно близко затрагивает семейные отношения, психические отклонения, суицид и воспитание родителей.
В процессе прохождения может время от времени пробежать холодок по спине, но я психически здоровый человек, как эта игра повлияет на тех, кому довелось застать насилие(Будь то моральное или физическое) - неизвестно, но будто бы они ощутят больший экспериенс, нежели "обычные" люди.
Из плюсов:
1. Графика. Она и правда довольно прекрасно выглядит, но там Италия, городки, леса, природа, но это немного читерство, но сделано и правда хорошо.
2. Атмосфера. Тут тоже все хорошо. Нету глупых и бессмысленных скримеров, игра пугает реальность бытия, так сказать
3. Фотоаппарат. Механика, которая построена на романтике древних фотиков....мммм, в этом просто есть какая-то своя аутентичность, ходишь, делаешь фотки, проявляешь их...тут уже субъективно, я бы назвал это скорее изюминкой
Из минусов.
Оптимизация. В целом, без толковой сборки тут делать особо нечего, хоть сам я играю на 4070s с 32ГБ оперативки, у меня картинка была более чем плавная, но иногда происходили глупейшие просадки кадров, из-за чего как-то грустно было.
Втф из май маус? Я не знаю как это объяснить, вроде и лагов нет и картинка плавная, но по независящим от меня обстоятельствам, сенса моей мышки такая: "Кто куда, а я по съе*ам"
Ну просто на пустом месте уводит мышку в небеса, это прям калит и зубы скрепят.

Освещение тут сделано довольно неплохо, но косяки в некоторых главах чувствуются.
Приоритет заданий. Игра грешит их несвоевременным появлением. У тебя буквально в третьей главе может появиться задание, которое ты сможешь выполнить только в самом конце игры, но ты ничего не можешь с этим поделать, это просто путает.
Баги, баги и еще раз баги. Просто куча багов, от которых просто плюнуть в лицо разрабам хочется. Но скорее всего просто я такой везучий, ведь баги не визуальные а технические, которые без перезахода в игру никак не решить.
Я очень долго смеялся с кнопки "сбросить скорость" на велосипеде. Разрабы прям хорошо так постарались.
Отдельно хотел бы выделить кукольный театр. Ничего кроме улыбки он не оставил
К покупке я однозначно рекомендую, но никакого ВАУ эффекта ожидать не стоит, это просто хорошо рассказанная история, которая стоит своих денег.

Gros problème d'optimisation au niveau du shader compilation, rendant le jeu parfois injouable tellement les saccades brisent l'immersion.

Un doublage en Français aurait aussi été apprécié.

Man kann das Spiel leider nur empfehlen oder halt nicht, aber die Antwort liegt hier meiner Meinung nach irgendwo dazwischen.
Technisch läuft Martha is Dead die meiste Zeit eher grenzwertig. das Schlimmste sind dabei die fast schon regelmäßigen Abstürze mit einem 'UE4 Fehler'.
Spielerisch ist es auch nicht perfekt. Gameplaytechnisch bekommt man hier nur das nötigste geboten und dafür sind diese Mechaniken zu fummelig und hakelig.

Da könnte man ja nach all dieser Kritik an den Core-Elementen meinen, das dieses Spiel ein Vollkatastrophe ist.
Aber dann kommt die Story ins Spiel, die Martha is Dead definitiv zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis machen.
Ohne zu Spoilern kann ich euch nur sagen, das die Geschichte und die Bilder die man hier sieht mega abgefcukt sind und das meine ich im Positiven Sinne.
Von einem entspannten Spiel wird Marthe is Dead immer wieder zu einem absolut unheimlichen und verstörenden Game.
Ich habe so eine Geschichte, die so schonungslos erzählt wird tatsächlich noch nie zuvor gespielt.
Das Spiel gibt zu Anfang an eine TRIGGERWARNUNG raus und das definitiv zurecht.
Hier werden Themen angesprochen und Bilder gezeigt die einige wirklich verstören oder aufwühlen könnten.

Also auch wenn Martha is Dead technisch und spielerisch nicht berauschend ist, kann ich es dennoch empfehlen, wenn man erzählerisch und bildlich mal etwas schonungsloses erleben möchte.

Martha is Dead is a unique take on the body horror and psychological horror genres.
It presents some welcome new ideas like photography system, but I had a few frustrating technical and gameplay issues, which made the game a bit laggy from time to time.

The game has huge amount of topics from loss and war to personal identity which was presented in a very respectful manner, but some parts even for a horror fan like me were a lot.
The voice acting and audio is fantastic absolutely no complains there!

Never the less, there are definitely moments in the game in a good way that will have your heart racing and goosebumps tingling like a good horror game should be, but if you are not a fan of horror or tough topics listed above, I would give you a huge content warning.

This is an experience indeed, well told and well crafted, beautifully unsettling themes mixed with a beautiful environment to walk through. I'm also very pleased with the option to choose a censored or uncensored version, every work should have that option instead of mandatory censoring which kills art and creativity. I'm very blown away by everything on this game. May there be more like it!

Well this game turned out to be bonkers. When I first started playing I thought "mmmm idk this doesn't seem that scary but I guess I'll keep playing" and damn am I glad I did. There were lots of truly creepy moments, the story went in an unexpected direction, and the atmosphere was great. Only thing is I didn't enjoy things like steering the boat or bike or some of the puzzle aspects. In general glad I got it and glad I finished it.

Mit jedem Durchlauf entdeckt man weitere Details und deutet vieles anders. Für mich ist es ein intensives, verstörendes und zugleich beeindruckendes Horror Erlebnis, das lange im Kopf bleibt.

I finally got around to playing Martha Is Dead and honestly… what an experience. From the very beginning it pulls you in with its atmosphere and storytelling. The way the narrative slowly unfolds, layering mystery, grief, guilt and psychological tension, is genuinely impressive. It trusts you as the player to piece things together rather than spoon feeding every detail, and that makes the emotional beats land even harder. The setting in 1940s Italy feels rich and immersive, and the whole game has this heavy, lingering mood that sticks with you long after you put the controller down.

For a game that deals with such dark themes, it was actually a really nice one to play in terms of pacing and exploration. There is something strangely calming about wandering the countryside, taking photographs, and soaking in the environment. The sound design especially deserves praise. It does so much of the storytelling without you even realising it.

That said, as you move further into the game, things start to shift. What begins as a grounded psychological mystery gradually morphs into something that feels much more like a fever dream. The lines between reality and delusion blur more and more, and at times you are left questioning what is actually happening. It is clearly intentional, and it fits the themes, but it can feel disorienting in a way that is both fascinating and slightly exhausting.

Now I do have to mention one very specific moment. As the proud and slightly obsessed owner of four sausage dogs, there is a particular scene involving a dog that was completely uncalled for and genuinely traumatising. I was not prepared. I did not consent. I have never clutched my dachshunds so tightly in my life. It absolutely wrecked me. If you are sensitive to animal related content, just be aware going in.

Overall though, Martha Is Dead is a bold, unsettling, beautifully told story. It is not always comfortable, and it absolutely leans into its disturbing elements, but the storytelling is where it truly shines. If you enjoy narrative driven psychological horror and do not mind things getting strange and intense, it is definitely worth experiencing. Just maybe keep your sausage dogs close while you play...

Un "petit" jeu vraiment sympa, si vous aimez les jeux d'horreur et psychologique, il sera fait pour vous.
L'histoire vaux le détour, par contre, il ne faut pas s'attendre à un chef d'oeuvre niveau graphisme ou manabilité du jeu.

Petite mention pour les passages du jeu avec le système du morse, une horreur ! La traduction n'est parfois pas bonne, ce qui peu induire en erreur

Simplesmente um dos melhores jogos de terror psicológico que joguei. Uma história densa, dramática e muito triste. Não é um jogo que tenta te assustar com jumpscares baratos, mesmo que existam momentos assustadores. O que assusta e deixa desconfortável é a própria história. Não tenho palavras para expressar o buraco existencial que este jogo nos deixa ao terminar a história de [spoiler]Martha? Giulia? Quem sabe quem ela é verdadeiramente?[/spoiler].
Amei a mecânica da câmera, embora gostaria que o álbum fosse para a tela inicial após zerarmos. Além disso, cenários belíssimos, me senti dentro daquele contexto e passei momentos de felicidade, raiva e tristeza juntos à protagonista. Às vezes nos assusta, às vezes nos deixa em pura agonia, ainda mais com seu final agridoce.

A melhor parte também, sem dúvidas, foi tê-lo jogado após zerar "The Town Of Light", que seria como um prelúdio do que veríamos a protagonista passar (isso sem falar dos easter eggs). E que bagulho rico em detalhes, cara!

E como conclusão, sobre meu sentimento final, que anda perambulando em minha mente e continuará comigo por um bom tempo, após dar uma chance a ouvir a história que a protagonista tem a nos contar...[spoiler]Quanto tempo até eu chegar em casa?[/spoiler]

From a gameplay perspective, I quite enjoyed the apparently realistic depiction of developing photos. I appreciated that the developers made the intent decision to have the photos develop quickly, respecting the player's time by not bogging the experience down with numerous cutscenes or time-wasting mechanics outside of specific narrative triggers.

The horror elements naturally were shocking, particularly the more obscene moments like [spoiler]Giulia's dead baby and the mirror self-harm sequence. Can't forget the face peeling scene![/spoiler]. Despite the controversy, I felt these depictions were justified, serving purely as a demonstration of the deterioration of Martha's mind.

Martha herself is quite interesting; her cold disposition is intriguing, and the scar in the shadows somewhat hinting toward the developer's other game, The Town of Light, was a detail [spoiler]where Irene's past is exposed at her time (and subsequentially Martha's in the asylum)[/spoiler] I appreciated.

However, the immersion is occasionally shattered by frustrating design choices. While the controls are typical for a walking simulator, the camera focus can be a tad annoying. More egregiously, the "White Lady" collection sequence breaks the narrative flow completely, forcing you to go all the way to a grave, back to develop a photo, then back to a grave to pull out a necklace without any prior context that Martha would know its location.

All in all, apart from that incident and another section where you have to follow a stupid crow, it was a good experience. The boat sequence and the meeting with the White Lady were highlights that made the frustration worth it. I would recommend this game 9/10

Super jeu narrative qui vous plonge dans la province italienne dans le milieu des années quarante. Vivez la vie de Giulia cherchant les raisons de la mort de sa soeur jumelle.
Le point fort du jeu est son ambiance mêlant des activités banales et d'autres extrêmement violentes psychologiquement : vous allez devoir faire/voir des choses que vous ne souhaitez pas. Un filtre peut être appliqué si cela est important pour vous.

Niveau gameplay, on marche beaucoup et on écoute énormément. Le jeu se voulant réaliste , vous allez faire des actions ,certes un peu simplifié, mais qui vous immergera encore plus dans la vie de Giulia.

Une des points qui fait rire est qu'on pourrait presque considéré le jeu comme un simulateur de photographie vintage tellement celui-ci propose une ribambelle d'accessoire et d'effet pour l'appareil photo.

Bref c'était bien ,violent et une réussite.
Je recommande !

Martha Is Dead is a horror walking sim, although it leans more towards investigation in many parts. Here you play as Giulia, a young woman investigating the death of her twin sister, Martha. The setting is during German occupation of Italy, and the game's default language is Italian. You can change it anytime, even during cutscenes. The English version features international actor Udo Kier as her dad, and also in his native German, but unfortunately not in Italian. I play in both Italian and English.

Their previous game The Town of Light has a similar tone and setting as this game, psychological stories in the Italian countryside. Although I enjoyed this better. More beautiful graphics, pretty interesting quests, and some scary moments as well. There are also some dark, yet kinda funny moments where Giulia reenacts parts of her past using puppets, imitating other people's voices and making sound effects. You can also take photos and develop them in a darkroom, with an accurate but simplified process. Some are required as part of main or sidequests, but you can just take pictures for fun, with numerous camera accessories like lenses and filters.

If you like walking sim horror games with a bit of investigation, you'd like Martha Is Dead. Although to be honest, the game's more tragic than scary. It's a vast improvement from their previous game, with better story, graphics, and gameplay. I kinda wish we had a photo mode or third-person view though, as Giulia has a full model if you activate Nvidia Ansel's free cam.

Muy buena trama. Pocos sobresaltos (2 conté, lo que en mi caso es bien). Narrativamente me parece brutal, al ser un juego con desarroladores italianos lo jugué con el audio en dicho idioma y vaya sorpresa me llevé para bien. Eso sí tiene unas cuantas partes que no son para todos los públicos (cuidado con los aprensivos). También da que pensar con sus metáforas e incluso tiene varias enseñanzas profundas. Para mí un 8,5/10 🙂‍↕️.

此作在技术能力方面差点火候：优化不行，远景差劲，动作僵硬，但构建的二十世纪初意大利乡村小庄园很是生动写实。有着和前作 The Town of Light（光之镇）一样的高水准自白叙述，平淡中蔓延着悲伤、痛苦和恐惧，配合出色的音乐，氛围感和艺术范拉满。剧情怎么样真不好说，为了让玩家体验精神问题人士分不清虚构和现实的痛苦，游戏故意安排了相互矛盾且较混乱的情节，让我怀疑自己是不是也出精神问题记错了？话说回来，如果这是艺术电影，我可能现在很难有时间有耐心去慢慢品味，但作为游戏，我全成就通关了。

It’s not horror, not horror at all. It’s just a walking simulator with the occasional puzzle + some gore. The camera mechanic is cool, really cool, but the rest of the game is just a nothing burger. The only scary part of this game is how buggy it is. The bicycle doesn’t work. Aside from getting stuck on invisible obstacles, the bike will literally soft lock you by making the game ignore event triggers. It took me FOREVER to realize the reason nothing was happening in my game was because I took the bike to the lake instead of walking the whole way. My bad. I won’t spoil anything, but I also got soft locked near the end by simply clicking on the wrong item first. Thank God there’s a “load” option.

And jeeeeez the gameplay is tedious at times. The gore parts of this game are so boring. Game makes you move your mouse over and over and over just to do a little cut here, a little cut there. Like, that’s just not enjoyable, I need a bigger mousepad for this type of gameplay. It feels like the developers are just trying to drag the moment out, which is just so redundant and boring.

When it comes to the story, it’s actually pretty good. I was engaged with it originally, but after bug after bug I just stopped caring eventually. Between the bugs and general slowness of gameplay, it got old fast, and the parts I enjoyed were too far and few between. It’s pretty thought provoking, I actually had high hopes coming into this one, but it just wasn’t for me. Good idea, not a fan of the execution.

Martha Is Dead benim için sadece oynanıp kapatılan bir oyun olmadı; bittikten sonra bile zihnimde kalan, beni hem rahatsız eden hem de derin derin düşündüren bir deneyime dönüştü. Zihnin karanlık koridorlarında bir yürüyüş.. Eğer klasik bir korku oyunu arıyorsanız yanlış yerdesiniz, çünkü bu oyun korkutmaktan çok psikolojik olarak yoran ve huzursuz eden bir yapıya sahip.

Atmosfer ve Görsellik
Oyunun atmosferi tek kelimeyle inanılmaz. İtalya kırsalındaki o kasvet, sessizlik ve yalnızlık hissi iliklerinize kadar işliyor. Beni en çok etkileyen şey ise ormandaki o sisli hava oldu. O sisin içinde tek başıma yürürken hissettiğim o tekinsizlik ve yalnızlık duygusu gerçekten çok başarılıydı. Grafikler abartıdan uzak ama ortam duygusunu yansıtma konusunda çok iddialı; özellikle doğa sahneleri ve ışık oyunları sizi hikayenin içine hapsediyor.

Hikaye ve Oynanış
Hikaye oldukça ağır ve karanlık; travma, suçluluk ve gerçeklik algısı üzerine ilerliyor. Ses tasarımı ve müzikler bazı sahnelerde tüyler ürpertici seviyede etkili. Evet, bazı sahneler gerçekten rahatsız edici olabilir ama bu asla "boş bir şok" etkisi yaratmak için yapılmamış, tamamen anlatının bir parçası olarak kurgulanmış.

Una muy buena experiencia narrativa de horror y misterio.
Una trama muy inmersiva y atrapante, con mecánicas clásicas de estos juego y una manera en contar la historia muy interesante, la música, sonidos ambientales y las voces originales en italiano son muy buen complemento para el relato y el mundo en el que se desenvuelve, además es un buen juego para conocer en profundidad el mundo de la fotografía clásica.
En general es una buena experiencia de terror para un par de tardes, pero aun así tiene muchas cosas que arreglar, empezando con la optimización y las físicas de la bici que destruye el juego y buggea incluso cinemáticas posteriores.

абсолют синема. такой тошнотворной реакции ещё не было со времен "The Suicide of Rachel Forest". я думала, что хуже сюжет закрутить и сломать не могут. смогут. игра оставляет ужасное опустошение после себя, заставляя хотеть пойти курить или посидеть на свежем воздухе, радуясь, что ты жив и важен в этом мире. всё: от музыкального сопровождения до самых маленьких визуальных деталей здесь даёт прочувствовать атмосферу. иногда такое нужно, нужно, чтобы тебя вывернули и заставили подумать о чём-то глубоком. всё порят вечные ходилки по лагающему, но красивому лесу (я так понимаю, нет смысла иметь хорошее железо, игра сожрёт память и на нём. увы.) итальянская озвучка обязательна. ваша жизнь тоже. берегите себя.

TLDR: After 9.9 Hours playtime, I have a few things to say about Martha is Dead... starting with: This game is VERY boring. It had fantastic trailers that will leave you disappointed after a long drawn out set of chores and a story that will put you to sleep with its unexciting dialog.

(below explanation may contain mild spoilers)

The only technical errors I experienced was random frame drops and on every transition, level, day... the game reset the motion blur and depth of field. I was constantly wondering why things would suddenly go blurry to find these re-enabled. My boyfriend on PS5 experienced consistent game crashes and frame drops, and at one point - was able to just wander out into the lake when there was supposed to be invisi-walls stopping you from going there.

This is NOT a horror game.

This is NOT a scary game.

Disappointed on the horror front, I really expected this game to be scary from the trailers, but I find myself so disappointed. Kinda feel like they were a little misleading and this being tagged as 'psychological horror' and 'horror'... In my opinion is extremely inaccurate. I honestly don't believe war stories are "horror"... tragedy and drama with some potential for horrific situations and elements, sure... but not "Horror". Somehow I didn't realize that this was by the same developer that made 'Town of Light' - Which I also played - and was similarly less than thrilled about.

The environment art and objects are beautifully designed and decorated. You really get a feel for the time period. Although, I will say that for as good as most of this game looks - Id like to know why the "ghost" looks so completely and utterly bad? If there was ANY possibility of this being remotely spooky and building tension - its completely lost in the poorly executed model of the "Lady of the Lake".

This is a mildly interactive walking sim psychological drama with some light shock factor elements. The story is delivered through picking up objects, listening to narrative and reading letters. The Voice acting is well done - but incredibly slow and borderline monotone. The tasks are tedious and mundane, many feel like fluff with no point. The things that make the game interesting grow boring and tiresome quickly as they were just so long and drawn out. Making every move to dial on the rotary phone... Having to use the darkroom and manually develop every image individually.... Manually typing out and deciphering morse code (this one had me so annoyed)...The bike was crap to control and ultimately completely useless...

For the 1st half of the game I was somewhat interested, and somewhat bored... but with all the tedious garbage that seemed so pointless, Martha is Dead overstays its welcome quickly. Somewhere in the second half of the game, I just stopped caring about any of it. The longer it drew it out, the more I hated it and by the end of the game, I just wanted it to end.

There were some cool parts, and some really lovely visuals - but it simply isn't enough to carry the game. It needed an incredibly story, but this story is painfully mid at best. On top of that, Using mental illness to answer all the questions and plot holes is (in my opinion) cheap and lazy. It just dismisses multiple hours of gameplay and glosses over any mistakes in the storytelling instead of developing it properly.

Furthermore, There are so many holes in this story that its hard to take any of it seriously... So many things that make absolutely no sense - decisions that are made with little to no logic. There is no reasoning as to why things have been said or done.

After spending entirely too much time on Town of Light and Martha is Dead, I don't think ill be investing in this developer again unless they breakthrough into something incredibly different. I just don't have the time or patience for this kind of experience. If you do like either of these, Id encourage playing the other - as they are very similar and it seems many people enjoyed these games.

1st and foremost, this is a Walking Sim...I wish that was more clear in the game description. 2nd, it is a pyschosis simulator. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say that this game is very effective in depicting trauma, violence, disturbing imagery....all that good stuff. Not sure if "horror" has anything to do with this game. Oh by the way, the reason why performance sucks is bc the graphics / lighting / effects in this game are almost photorealistic.

这游戏沒有如此烂，但细想我确实想不到推荐给朋友的理由，所以就点差评了。整体我觉得是6.5分。

因为剧情主导，我不想剧透所以不说，就说一下整体的体验。

整体时长应该有5-6小时，我平均一个小时就闪退或卡BUG一次，频率是有点多。还有他优化不好，好卡，转视点都会卡出影的那种卡，令人打起来很晕。另外我完成游戏时闪退了，所以沒跳完成游戏的成就，但也不想搞了。

游戏节奏很快，非常慢而且沉闷。跑起来慢，地图大，还要来回跑，拍照，冲晒。整个流程很重复，后面作业感很重。

说恐怖游戏，其实也沒有恐怖要素。反而有些地方为血腥而血腥，画面有点恶心人。比如突然肢解，肢解完还可以冷静地拍照，但整件事也不是很必要，可以有其他表达方式也不会影响体验。

Martha Is Dead to bardzo osobliwy tytuł. Twórcy wyłożyli na tapet historię o stracie, o trudnym dzieciństwie i wieku nastoletnim, o chorobach psychicznych i o próbie wyjaśnienia sobie rzeczywistości na własny sposób. Głównym rdzeniem historii jest opowieść o Giulii, która pewnego dnia robiąc zdjęcia w lesie, widzi jak jej siostra bliźniaczka, Martha unosi się martwa na jeziorze. Wstrząśnięta śmiercią siostry, przybiera jej tożsamość jako że matka kochała bardziej tę zmarłą bliźniaczkę. Giulia w ten sposób próbuje złagodzić ból jaki nastał po śmierci siostry a jednocześnie szuka winowajcy jej śmierci. Ale czyżby rzeczywiście tak było? O to chodzi w Martha Is Dead, że historia nie jest czarno-biała. To gra mocno psychologiczna i nawet po skończeniu gry mamy mnóstwo pytań odnośnie tego, co naprawdę stało się z Marthą, czy Martha rzeczywiście istniała, czy to co widzimy oczami Giulii miało naprawdę miejsce? Sam po zakończeniu gry wyczytałem mnóstwo teorii i mam mętlik w głowie bo wiele z nich przedstawia opowieść inaczej, niż ja ją odebrałem. To jest na pewno ogromny plus tego tytułu, można go interpretować na różne sposoby. Może nieco o rozgrywce teraz. Nazwałbym Martha Is Dead czymś w rodzaju walking sima bo przez całą grę po prostu chodzimy po posiadłości i jej obrzeżach i wchodzimy w interakcję z różnymi przedmiotami. Aktywności są różnorodne i niejednokrotnie byłem pełen podziwu dla twórców w kwestii tego jak wiele ciekawych pomysłów zostało tu wrzuconych. Dla przykładu: W wielu miejscach w grze robimy zdjęcia, musimy im nadać odpowiednią ostrość i ekspozycję, czasem włączyć odpowiedni filtr. Potem trzeba te zdjęcia wywołać w ciemni poprzez uproszczoną minigierkę, która jednak pokazuje jak w dawnych czasach wywoływało się zdjęcia. Dużą cechą tej gry jest również jej drastyczność. Jest tu kilka scen, które dla osób wrażliwych mogą być dość brutalne i nieprzyjemne. Ja w swoim życiu widziałem sporo filmików gore więc jestem dość odporny na różne krwawe sceny ale wciąż odczuwałem pewien "niesmak". Także warto brać to pod uwagę. Gra ma sporo minusów za technikalia i tu mam ambiwalentne odczucia. Z jednej strony rzeczywiście zdarza się tu lekko stuttering i spadki fpsów ale ja na maksymalnych ustawieniach w 1440p, włączonym Raytracingiem i DLSS na super jakość miałem przez większość czasu ponad 70-80 fpsów więc było dość płynnie na moim sprzęcie (Ryzen 5600X, RTX 4070 i 32 GB ram). Wiadomo, mogłoby być lepiej ale to w końcu niesławny UE4, który nie należy do mocarnych silników. Pomimo to gra prezentuje się bardzo ładnie i grafika w wielu momentach jest dość fotorealistyczna. Martha Is Dead było mnie dla wręcz doświadczeniem a nie zwykłą grą i podobało mi się, że twórcy nie traktują mnie jak głupka, któremu trzeba wszystko wyłożyć na tacy by zrozumiał co się dzieje. Dlatego też, pomimo że jest to dość krótki tytuł (Mi zajął 5 godzin), Martha Is Dead dostaje ode mnie ocenę 8/10.
