[b]Lost Ember[/b] такая душевная игра. Играем за волчицу, а рядом спутник светящийся огонёк, который ищет дорогу домой. Вместе мы бродим по красивым и разнообразным локациям и всё это в шкуре разных зверей. Мы можем перевоплощаться в разнообразных животных, птиц и даже рыб и каждое перевоплощение ощущается по‑новому. Мир настолько красивый, хотелось запечатлеть каждый момент: заброшенные дворцы, пустыни, пещеры — всё такое живое и уютное. А история незамысловатая, но трогательная: о прощении, памяти и надежде. К концу даже плакала. Да, игра линейная и бегать можно только по маршрутам сюжета, а звери нужны в основном чтобы открывать проходы, но мне было всё равно. Это идеальный вечерний релакс: красиво, спокойно, душевно. Если любите природу, животных и тёплые истории — обязательно проходите

Lost Ember представляет собой довольно расслабляющий, медитативный геймплей, иногда приводящий игрока в полнейший восторг.

Самый захватывающий момент — когда волчица срывается с обрыва скалы, превращаясь в птицу, и начинает быстро лететь в стае себе подобных, мимо огромных зеленеющих колонн величественной карстовой пещеры. От этой сцены захватывает дух — настолько она хорошо сделана!

Сюжет будет раскрываться посредством флешбэков в определённых «памятных» местах и умозаключений нашего спутника — маленького огонька света. Огонёк — это душа человека, которая не помнит, кем она была в прошлой жизни. И здесь мне не понравилась его озвучка: голос слишком амбициозный, тогда как должен быть таинственным или загадочным, ведь душа не знает, кто она. Собственно, и мы в образе волчицы не знаем, кто мы; лишь намёки в начале игры дают понять, что мы тоже были человеком. По мере прохождения сюжет расставит все точки над «и» и объяснит нам, кем мы были при жизни, проведя по очень живописным локациям, наполненным различной живностью, в которую мы можем перевоплощаться, чтобы двигаться дальше.

По ходу прохождения я отметил для себя, что разработчики очень постарались при создании мира Lost Ember: у них получилось создать по‑настоящему живой мир, увлекающий игрока в путешествие, оставляющее после себя самые яркие впечатления.

Relaxing & gorgeous game. Cute animals and they were fun to play. I got stuck so many times, not even on purpose...it was annoying. Exploring very hilly parts of the world can be overwhelming, so I kind of just went straight to the story, The story isn't bad and have a bit of twist. The ending was beautiful and better than I expected.

I love the landscape of the game, it is relaxing. Wolfs howling is sad but awesome to hear. The other animals used to complete the task as well. I enjoy playing the game, thank you. The story line does not need to be in the game. just give the animals tasks to complete. Just strolling around the game is relaxing itself. great job on details and art work

I liked the exploration, discovering new areas and the beautiful graphics, which was a good thing considering travelling around was mostly what you do. This was like a "walking simulator" adventure except you had different means of locomotion. Possessing the different animals beyond your wolf, including swimming fish and flying birds, was different and original. Lost Ember controlled relatively well with gamepad but not perfectly all the time. Didn't like the voice of the main actress, and that British voice for the spark wasn't the best choice in terms of world logic. Didn't care for the story much at first, but it got way better, even riveting. There were moments of wonder. The music was generally good but not stupendous. At the time I write this, the game was only available bundled with the remastered version, but from what I read, "Rekindled" is basically the same game with better graphics and more demanding system requirements. The game was too expensive for the amount of hours you get out of it (around 4 to 5 hours), but there are collectibles (too many) to encourage replaying. Recommended at 10 bucks or less, maybe 20 if you really like animals and exploring.

First run with commentary off; it's a visually beautifully crafted game. From the level elements, the general stylization, and the audio design, it can be very stunning at time with how things are framed within the cutscenes - when unvoiced.

The first hiccup I've had is that the world is suppose to be located in a fictionalized Andes, when the first animal you encounter outside yourself is a Wombat. An animal famously not located on the same continent. And it kept compounding as I worked through the story and finding more things that felt out of place in the setting, such as portions of the scenery and other animals. It was a strange quirk, but I could look past them for the minimal gameplay elements, aside from the water slide and quick time events.

Some of the maps felt like they could've benefited from tightening up, or reducing the empty space that functioned mostly to facilitate vast vistas. Especially around the mid section where it was void of things when it wasn't tightly constrained to smaller levels; it has an obsession with every man-made structure being megastructures, to the point it feels comedic that you go from one area with a megastructure to yet another area with a megastructure, constantly.

Leaving the aspect of the ending aside - afterwards I played it with commentary on, and while I'm sure the VA did the best with the material, if dragged down the second run to work on the collectables. It made the flaws of the game and world design that much more pronounced as every single obvious detail was pointed out in the 'memories', to the point of hand-holding and farce. And even if it wasn't my second playthrough, it telegraphs the story way too fervently, it drops the story from decent/serviceable to slapdashed together to tie together why the player goes through the second half.

Mechanically it works in the most barebone sense, but extremely confusing why some choices were made in how they work. Without commentary on, the soul is functionally useless even when it responds. The birds all act differently - one is a glider, another is a helicopter, and another has constant momentum - making it feel cumbersome to go from one to another. The rmb ability is extremely useless unless the player is a certain animal, and that sadly is a common issue. And makes some animal choices being solutions to problems made up for the player and grabbing the first animal that comes to mind to solve that specific issue. It leads to there being four different buttons for interacting with the world; one of them just being for one achievement. The game lists two other interaction buttons that I never needed to push to get through it twice.

I tried to give it the benefit that it had some teething problems in some areas; but there's too compounding flaws to recommend it.

При всей своей прекрасной графике и сюжетной составляющей, оптимизация игры порой не бывает лучшей. Не знаю чем это вызвано, но при всех моих 4 часах игры, я то и дело проваливалась сквозь текстуры, застревала в объектах или проваливалась в пустоту лишь при попытке исследовать псевдо-открытый мир.

Так что, если вы желаете просто строго следовать сюжету, не копаясь в каждом камушке и изучать окрестности, то берите. Иначе повторите мой опыт падений сквозь время и пространство

I installed this game three years ago, during one of the darkest periods of my life. Lost Ember came to me at a time when I didn’t yet understand how much a human life matters - including my own.

Back then, I was living in an environment where I was constantly harassed, threatened, and made to feel unsafe. I didn’t have the emotional strength to actually play the game. All I could do was listen to the soundtrack - Main Theme, Your Light, All That You Are etc. Those tracks were some of the very few things that brought me calm when everything else was unbearable.

I finished Lost Ember only now, years later, and I cried almost the entire time. This game speaks about guilt, loss, forgiveness, and the value of a human life in a way very few stories ever do.

I deeply wish I had played it earlier. Maybe I would have been kinder to myself. Maybe I would have understood sooner that my life had value too.

''Lost Ember'' doesn’t scream its message - it whispers it gently, and that is exactly why it stays with you.

Thank you for creating something so quiet, so beautiful, and so meaningful. This game will stay with me forever. ❤️❤️❤️

Неплохой симулятор ходьбы, рекомендую любителям этого жанра. Начну с того, что начиналась игра как первый проект 4х студентов, однако результат получился лучше, чем можно было бы ожидать. Благо игра короткая (мне хватило шести часов) и ее недостатки не успевают стать критичными; несмотря на это, вторая половина игры как по мне проседает по сюжету и более скучная. Для одного прохождения сойдет, видно что игру делали с любовью и проблема в нехватке ресурсов и опыта.

Добавили элементы типа "собери 100 грибов", которые совершенно бесполезны, ну да ладно, можно грибы не собирать.

I truly love this game. It brings out your emotions at times and it's truly beautiful in the graphics and story. Even now it still makes me cry at times. This will always be one of my favorite games. I know I don't have that many hours logged in but still, I will always love this game.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder auf dem steamdeck gspielt es funktioniert auch dort tadellos.
Das neue Update Rekindled funktioniert auch auf dem steamdeck, ist die gleiche steuerung.

I remember absolutely loving this game back in 2021. I loved spending hours exploring every little corner of every single map whilst getting entranced by the truly beautiful music.

The fact that I had the stop playing due to my updated drivers being incompatible was quite upsetting.

However I am extremely excited to try out the remastered version + dlc on my new computer coming this year. Feels quite poetic.

I first played this game around when it came out, and came back to it today because of Rekindled. Unfortunately, Rekindled broke my rose-tinted glasses. The only reason I'm reviewing this version instead is because Rekindled is mostly just a graphics upgrade (and a performance [i]downgrade[/i]) and my main gripes were outside of graphics. Note, these devs still accomplished a great feat just by the fact the game exists, and I do have positives, I just want to point out the glaring flaws as well.

-There are way too many collectibles. I am no stranger to indie exploration games having enough collectibles to make The Legend of Zelda blush, but [i]142 mushrooms? And no map tracking? The frick-[/i]. Even the 50 lotus flowers in Rekindled's Legendary Souls DLC have no map tracking or any real way of finding them beyond your own eyes, so clearly things haven't changed in 6 years. I originally beat this game long before I became an achievement hunter, but when I tried it again today because of Rekindled, I considered 100%ing it until I saw how many achievements and how many collectibles there were, and after about half an hour running around as the slowest creatures possible I just went 'Yeah I'm not achievement hunting this'.

-The game gets very stale very quick, with only a few tiny highlights. I kept playing the parrot level and the final vulture level over and over because they were the only really fun parts of the game, the rest of the game is just a walking simulator (I did like the firefly sequence though). The maps are way too big since they want to encourage possessing creatures and exploring like a sandbox, but even the 'fastest' land creatures are slow as hell to the point that after the parrot level I always dreaded switching back to the wolf or a buffalo.

-I really don't like to call acting 'bad' in any project, but yeah...the voice acting ain't great. The plot twist near the end has stuck in my head all these years not because it was good, but because the actor's 'surprised voice' was so bad it has been permanently burnt into my brain. And he's the only voice you hear for 99% of the game so get used to it.

-The story is alright, Spirit of the North just does it better though. I legit can't remember any of it since most of the story is 'look at how cool the worldbuilding is' with a splash of a plot twist that is rather obvious. Like, I would write more in this section but I've already struggled a few times trying to recount any information that isn't the plot twist. Granted I played this a long time ago now, but at least I remember a rough outline of the plot for other games I played a similarly long time ago.

-The graphics are nice, though after playing Spirit of the North and then coming back to this game in the Rekindled version, the graphics haven't aged well at all, even with an upgrade. Plus Rekindled runs like ass even with my somewhat high specs rig, so now we have dated graphics [i]and[/i] bad frame rate.

+The soundtrack is beautifully excellent, but it's trigger/area based so you'll hear the same little jingle from going over the same spot of the map over and over. Normally that's not an issue in indie games but since I was struggling to navigate in Rekindled's DLC I heard the same three soundtracks multiple times to the point I could predict when they started. Aside from that I still have certain songs in my playlist I listen to regularly.

+The art style is good, though mostly on the wolf. It's funny, I like how the wolf looks but I still find it kind of an awkward design, and it kinda looks more like a fox in some ways, but it still looks nice and the other animals are good too. The elephants have such tall legs though that it reminds me of the oliphaunts from Lord of the Rings.

-[b]Rekindled:[/b] I tagged this one for the remaster because it's a base game mechanic, but it became more of a problem in the remaster's DLC. The game doesn't want you jumping down slightly raised slopes like this is Pokemon, and will respawn you with a black screen on the last 'valid ground' you were on. Normally this isn't an issue, aside from wasting time, but the remaster's DLC has massive cliffs and since the land creatures are so damn slow you will want a parrot at all times. I lost my parrot on the highest part of the map and completely gave up after attempting to take a short cut down with a ram but kept getting kicked back up to the start of the cliff just because I fell slightly too far, and I was not about to spend 20 minutes running across this desert at 5 miles per hour just to get down.

Again, I respect this game a lot, but Rekindled has woken me up to the problems it has. Just play Spirit of the North. You can't shapeshift into creatures in that game, but collectibles respect your sanity, there's more engaging puzzles and it runs better. Thanks for reading

[th][b][h3]✅Сэттинг📚[/h3][/b][b]Мир тут вайбовый такой прям. Это руины империи Янрана, вдохновленные культурой Инков, которые уже плотно поросли зеленью. Я побывал в куче разных биомов: от сухих пустынь и джунглей до подземных пещер и масштабного Великого Храма. Лор раскрывается не в лоб, а через окружение и коллекционки, то бишь находим всякие артефакты типа старых медальонов, и через них узнает быт и обычаи этого народа. Визуально локации рассказывают историю не хуже текста и везде видны остатки былого величия дворцов и статуй. Исследовать эти развалины мне было интересно чисто эстетически.[/b][/th]

[th][b][h3]✅Геймплей🎮[/h3][/b][b]Главная фишка, которая мне зашла это безусловно возможность вселяться в любую живность, которую встретишь, а их тут больше 15 видов. Это прям мегапонравилось. Геймплей строится не на драках (их тут нет), а на использовании способностей зверей: колибри нужна, чтобы пролететь в узкие места, рыба чтобы нырнуть, а вомбат мемно катается кубарем и ломает преграды. У каждого зверя свои механики и физика, и хоть за некоторых я играл буквально пару минут, это всё равно запомнилось. Играется свежо, управление отзывчивое, и смена "тушек" не дает заскучать до самого финала.

[th][b][h3]✅Аудиовизуал🎨[/h3][/b][b]Картинка ну это моё почтение, художники тут явно постарались больше всех. Освещение, цвета, пейзажи это всё очень сочно, я реально часто останавливался просто поделать скриншоты. Анимации животных плавные, волк бегает и прыгает как настоящий, чувствуется вес персонажа. И прикольно сделаны воспоминания в виде застывших во времени немых безликовых силуэтов персонажей. Звук тоже не подкачал: фоновая музыка спокойная, ненавязчивая, хорошо работает на общую медитативную атмосферу игры. Технически всё выглядит и звучит очень приятно.

Beautiful and colorful graphics, like straight out of a fairy tale.
A wonderful, emotional story about a lady who made bad choices and had to face the consequences. It's a perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
The soundtrack is truly wonderful. Walking as a wolf or other spirit animal is very satisfying. I had much fun playing this adventure game.

Lost Ember в оригіналі - це була саме та гра, де не графіка головна, а відчуття. Вона не намагалася вражати кожною травинкою, як у нещодавному ремейку, але чарувала атмосферою, щирою історією і тим відчуттям свободи, коли перемикаєшся між тваринами. Легкість - мабуть, головне слово. Гра літала плавно навіть на не найсильнішому залізі, і завдяки цьому сприймалася дуже природно.

Сюжет і подача були достатньо сильні, щоб не потребувати “глянцю” поверх. Стиль — м’який, теплий, трошки казковий. Власне, за це я її і любив: вона давала відпочити. Просто йдеш, досліджуєш, слухаєш історію - і все працює як треба.

Так, були недоліки: місцями анімації прості, текстури не найдетальніші, технічні дрібниці траплялися. Але це все сприймалося як частина шарму, а не проблема. До того ж, тоді гру можна було пройти без перетворення геймплею на слайд-шоу.

Після ремейку я зрозумів, наскільки вдалим був баланс в оригіналі. Не ідеальним - але гармонійним. Він не перевантажував, не вимагав заліза, не відволікав від історії - просто давав прожити подорож.

Оригінал для мене досі лишається кращою версією. Може не такою “надзвичайно гарної”, зате чесною у своїй простоті

[b]Lost Ember[/b] я даже не ожидала, что так зацепит. Думала, будет просто красивая прогулка за волчицу с милым огоньком-напарником. А в итоге не смогла оторваться. Самое крутое — перевоплощения. Можно стать кем угодно: рыбой, птицей, зверем — и каждый чувствуется по-своему, это реально увлекательно. Мир красивый до мурашек: пустыни, джунгли, пещеры, заброшенные храмы — хочется разглядывать каждую деталь. Да, бегать можно только по маршруту, но меня это не напрягало — путь сам по себе завораживал. А история... о памяти, вине и прощении. Так душевно, что к концу я просто сидела и вытирала слёзы. Сама не ожидала. Так что если хотите не просто красивую картинку, а чтобы за душу взяло — попробуйте. Только салфетки приготовьте. Пригодятся

А на деле через барьер не пройти без волчицы. И еще это типичное поведение: натворил любую дичь, но не виноват. Сжег дом собственной дочери вместе с ее возлюбленной? Ну прасти, я жи ни знал!!![/spoiler] В общем дух - восхитительно раздражающий персонаж. Если цель была выбесить, то 11 из 10. Колибри - лучшее, что есть в игре по управляемости. Рыба тоже огонь, она бессмертна, ей можно прыгать с любой высоты и скакать по суше. В остальном сомнительно. Особенно утка, которая вверх лететь не может. К краю если вдруг подойти хочется, то лучше не стоит: не развернешься. Баги лечатся перезапуском игры. Из плюсов: пейзажи красивые.

A relaxing animal walking sim in a half open world.

You play as a black wolf with the ability to possess other animals and borrow their skills, like digging underground or squeezing through narrow holes as a mole, flying over gaps as a bird.

The map is divided into numerous areas, where you explore to find specific memory points that unlock story fragments and advance to the next area. There's no in game map or waypoints, which makes it easy to get lost. Fortunately the wolf's running speed is relatively fast, backtracking from wrong paths doesn't take too long.

I enabled commentary mode but didn't hear anything during the first 4 chapters. Possibly a bug, or maybe I missed something.

It is said if you own the original version before the new game is released you get it for free, a nice deal especially now at 70% off.

The graphics look great, and the story is interesting and keeps getting better as you play. The game has a nice atmosphere and it’s very relaxing to explore.

But it’s a bit short. If you don’t focus on achievements, you can finish it in about 5 hours. The wolf could jump a little higher to prevent getting stuck in some places. Sometimes you also have to restart the checkpoint because the animals you need don’t spawn.

Even so, it's a pretty nice and charming game.

Le gameplay est réduit à sa plus simple expression (avancer jusqu'au prochain fumigène) ; la narration et le scénario sont inintéressant ; l'univers, la DA et les musiques sont corrects mais pas de qualité suffisantes pour rattraper le reste.
Essayer d'explorer n'est pas plus engageant non plus, certes il y a des collectibles qui vous récompenseront mais il n'y a aucun challenge, aucune proposition de gameplay pour vous pousser à les récupérer, tout au plus une vague description d'item pour certains d'entre eux.

Sur l'aspect technique, il y a plusieurs problèmes de collisions, d'oob (qui fait notamment tomber sous la map) et la moindre chute de quelques mètres est sanctionnée par un retour à la position précédente, ce qui peut être agaçant dans certains passages.

Le problème n'est pas de faire un jeu contemplatif ou relaxant ; beaucoup de jeux très réussis sont sur ce créneau. Le problème c'est qu'il est vide, qu'on est réduit à courir (ou voler ou nager le cas échéant) dans des couloirs, que c'est narrativement stérile et qu'on a tout au plus deux ou trois jolis panorama pour se consoler un peu.

Donc oui si vous voulez un jeu calme, apaisant mais avec une vraie proposition esthétique, narrative, ou ludique, il y en a plein : What Remains of Edith Finch, Seasons after Fall, FAR : Lone Sails, A Short Hike, Grow Home pour en citer quelques uns.

Incredible game. Loved all of the landscapes and found the story quite interesting as well. There is not too much gameplay-wise, you're basically just figuring out how to get from point A to point B to progress the story but there's so much to see that you don't really notice. I also loved the ability to turn into different animals although I do kinda wish each animal had more unique abilities. Almost all the flying creatures do the exact same thing (fly) but just with slightly different speed and handling. Same thing for all of the fish. For the land creatures there is a lot of variety with rolling and smashing and digging and that was really fun, I just wish that happened with the flying and swimming creatures too. Aside from that one tiny thing though I found the game great and loved every minute of it.

J'avais été attiré par le game design et l'ambiance du jeu, effectivement les changements de gameplay associé au changement d'animaux paraissait intéressant et les différentes ambiances du jeu au travers des niveaux coloré alléchante.
Mais la déception fut rapide, d'une part avec le scénario assez prévisible mais surtout dont le message final est complètement obscurci par une technique que j'ai trouvé assez mauvaise. L'expérience est gâchée par de nombreux bug de collision entre les animaux et les éléments du décors (très frustrant de se faire arrêter par une petite pierre qui te demande plus de 5 essais pour arriver à sauter par-dessus), des bugs de texture dans des zones accessible mais bizarrement vide, une caméra hasardeuse et un contrôle des animaux pas tout à fait homogène (caméra qui part dans un sens et animal de l’autre) ou alors défiant la physique (axolotl remontant la rivière plus vite qu’il ne l’a descend).
Si on rajoute des collectables complètement inutile pour le déroulé du scénario et du style "patounes" (beaucoup et peu intéressant) qui gonfle la durée de jeu et des choix disons ... bizarre (big up aux animaux inutiles : asticot, tortue et paresseux), j'avais envie de stopper le jeu après seulement deux heures.
Donc j'ai rushé la fin sans avoir ce que je trouve le plus important dans un jeu : du fun.
Je ne conseille donc pas ce jeu.

Disclaimer: Absolutely no hate to the developers at all, I'm sure everyone on the team worked very hard on it. I just realised after playing through it that it didn't vibe with me as I had hoped it would.

I don't usually give bad reviews since I usually only write reviews for games that I adore. However, in this case, it's more so a feeling of disappointment rather than outright hating Lost Ember. As much as I wanted to love this game, I came out of it feeling like it missed its mark.

Lost Ember is an adventure game that follows the titular characters, the wolf (controlled by you) and a lost orb that is trying to enter the City of Light. You will explore forests and ancient ruins while reliving memories of yore. The gimmick or selling point of this game is your ability to possess different animals and utilize their abilities to traverse the world.

At first, I was drawn in by the pitch of shape-shifting into different animals to experience the world. However, the more I played the game, the more underwhelming it felt for me. The obstacles presented in the game are few and far between. Often times, the game feels like a sandbox where you can roam around while progressing the story. Morphing into different animals feels like a means to an end rather than something that requires you to think how to meaningfully interact with the world.

Onto my next point, the worldbuilding. The areas you explore are distinct (except for the first 3 chapters). However, the interactions between the world and the animals are lackluster. You barely get to see the animals interact with their environment much. A lot of the times, they are just grouped together in a single area waiting for you, the player to morph into them. This made the world feel bland to me since animals are reactive instead of proactive in their behaviours. In a game focused on animals, the animals feel more like entities that move around doing nothing until they are needed by the player.

Proceeding from there, let's talk about the story. Without getting into spoilers, it's an okay story. I wasn't really invested in the characters as much as I had hoped. It's a pretty simple story all things considered, you get to uncover the mysteries of the old civilisation as you progress through the game. Nothing much to add onto here.

On my last point, I'd like to discuss about the collectibles. Oh the collectibles.. This game has by far the most collectibles I've had the displeasure of trying to find. I genuinely believe that if you were to attempt to find all of the items in the game blind, you'd be here forever. Even with a guide, it was still a slog to get through. I think the worst part about this all is one of the collectibles, the mushrooms. The game has different categories of collectibles for you to find, namely the mushroom and the relics. The relics are easy to keep track of since all of them are distinct. However, the same can't be said about the mushrooms. If you've forgotten which mushrooms you've already collected in any given chapter, you'll have to painstakingly backtrack because the game doesn't tell you which mushroom you haven't collected yet. To give the game some credit, it does keep track of how many collectibles you have left for each chapter.

Overall, I'm not mad, I'm just mildly disappointed. Maybe I went into this game with wrong expectations. If anything I said over the past few paragraphs seemed interesting to you, do try it for yourself. I'm sure there are people out there that can appreciate it more than I did.

Игра столь же красивая сколько и грустная. Не знаю, почему у нее есть тег "Расслабляющая" - история хоть и неторопливая, но достаточно напряженная и мрачная, вообще не расслабляет :D
Сюжет же тем драматичнее, что все что ты видишь - это обрывки воспоминаний об уже совершенном, и никакие сожаления не исправят того что случилось много лет назад. И эфемерные ритуалы и попытки что-то исправить в посмертии - всего лишь попытки успокоить собственное "я". Ну, это то, как я вижу часть истории, кто-то ее увидит по-другому.

Из минусов могу отметить разве что некоторую затянутость сюжетной части в снежных горах.
В остальном же - это прекрасный, увлекательный, красивый, не перегруженный диалогами и всякими фичами драматический спектакль, от которого остается ощущение как от хорошей книги.

The story was phenomenal, definitely makes you take a few guesses on who it is, as well as how certain things played out for the memories to lead where it ended up. Had me tearing up by the end since it was so heartwarming, but sad all at the same time. The game play is easy to understand/ follow. Graphics are not overbearing but just perfect for the style it takes.

This being a very relaxing single player game with a great soundtrack that plays just the right song at the right times to really set the mood whether it be in a certain area, memory, or just a couple very simple quick time events to add a bit of spice, regardless this game has timed a lot of things very well. Also the voice actors did a great job! Well done, they portrayed events and emotions very well to really set the scenes.

Overall this game is amazing, I highly recommend this game even if its to enjoy it for what it is, or to pass time. I will more than likely return to this game to play it again to gather the loads of mushrooms, and relics around the chapters, as I didn't on the first play through cause I wanted to enjoy the story first and really take it in. Which i'm glad I did, was definitely worth it since searching for items takes away from immersion.

Un jeu très simple, pas difficile du tout. C'est une histoire d'initiation où l'on chemine en compagnie d'un esprit tout en étant capable d'incarner des animaux différents (mais principalement une louve) selon les situations rencontrées et obstacles à franchir. Ce jeu est une balade dans le passé tumultueux des deux personnages.
Il n'est pas très long si l'on ne fait pas les collections (sur lesquelles je ne me suis pas concentrée), comptez 2-3 heures tout au plus 4 h la première fois car je suis lente et j'ai plus exploré).
Il y a quelques bugs visuels et le doublage et les mises en scène sont parfois un peu maladroites. Rien qui n'entache au gameplay ni au plaisir de découvrir les paysages.
J'ai joué 2 fois : une fois avec les commentaires de l'esprit, cela permet de mieux comprendre l'histoire ; et une seconde fois sans, pour plus d'immersion. Ce fut très agréable. J'aime particulièrement la fin.
Pour les joueuses / joueurs tout-à-tout qui veulent faire une pause entre deux gros jeux ; ou bien les férus d'histoires de deuil, de pardon et de rédemption, vous pouvez y aller.

Ich hab Lost Ember schon mehrere Male durch und muss sagen, das Spiel ist eines der schönsten Games, die ich je gespielt habe. Die Story ist eine wucht, das Gameplay wunderschön, auch wenn die Technik (Engine) nicht grade das gelbe vom Ei ist, aber dass verzeihe ich dem Spiel sehr gerne, vorallem, da das Spiel von dem Indie-Entwickler Mooneye aus Hamburg kommt und die haben ein tolles Spiel mit einer Herzlichen Atomsphäre und einer der schönsten Welten programmiert, in die ich gerne immer wieder eintauchen möchte. Eine absolute Empfehlung, wenn ihr tolle Storys mögt, Wer nicht auf Story, rumlaufen und das eher gemühtliche Spieltempo steht, sollte die Finger davon weg lassen. Absolut schönes Spiel, sollte man ausprobiert bzw. gespielt haben :)
