A solid idea for a game. The first two runs were pretty fun but after that all future runs felt the same. The game needs to find a way to get more variety between builds and runs. Because of this it got really boring really fast so I dropped it.

First: My playtime is wrong, because I play mostly offline on my Steam Deck. I currently have 13/46 achievements (hope that's public?). Run history shows 7 runs, so maybe 6h of real playtime.

I thoroughly enjoy the brainy gameplay, as well as the cowboy bebop vibes.
The enemies bring a high variety to the fights, as most have some form of rule change you have to play around.
Especially during the first few runs, there are a lot of situations that initially felt too difficult, but then turned out to be solveable.
The first 3 ships play differently enough and the pilots are akin to different starting relics.
The treasures (StS relics) range from slight improvements to build defining.

The roguelike aspect has QoL features like starting each run with 1 full heal/refuel token and 1 shop [sic] token, so you're not at the mercy of the RNG map locations. Being able to pick from multiple non-combat encounters in between fights, as well as not having to think about paths is also nice. Being able to re-start every fight for free is also great (you could do that in StS 1, but you'd have to close and re-open the game), especially for new players who are just learning the rules.
The ruleset is somewhat complicated, which I enjoy, but might be off putting to younger players. The in-game wiki helps.

The only things I wish were different:
Combat music that is more cowboy blues-y and less sci-fi synth.
Improved English wording on some unit/treasure texts, to make the effects clearer.
More end-game units/upgrades, since great runs end up in situations where the last few shops are kinda boring. Maybe adding the possibility to buy space extensions on the ship late game wouldn't be too op?

I'd rate the game a 8.5/10 so far, really good! I hope more players find it.

Didnt really like it, was hard to understand what the heck modules and things did. not intuitive UI. ultimately felt like "just another roguelite" but punishing without the core gameplay loop that kept me wanting to come back for more.

This was a really great game for so many cool reasons: 1) each character had their own unique charm, not only by possessing different special skills or character bios, but by having different art styles (presumably by different artists) for their profile picture; 2) each ship has an interesting play style that greatly affects the strategy you'll want to adopt; 3) the different items and weapons you can obtain in the game feel like they offer a great balance during the game, meaning that there will very rarely be an overpowered item or weapon that will help you during every circumstance, but there might be certain items or weapons that work nearly every time with a well though-out strategy; 4) the music and cowboy aesthetic (almost like the TV series Firefly) are really cool in this game!
At this point, I'm kind of hoping that they might add another playable ship in an update/patch/free DLC, but I guess we'll see. I still recommend getting this game and giving it a go. I suppose it is also the perfect gift for the gamer who needs some additional practice with their multiplication and addition (though it could honestly make a great gift for anybody!).

本身是一款创新性很强的类Rouge游戏，塔防的机制让我眼前一亮，再加上一次休息回合内多个选项的设置，像怪物火车又不像，很新颖，但是缺点在于流派组件太过于分散，没有办法很快集齐组件直接飞升，更偏向于多流派混合打法，但是强度不过关。希望以后能出一些新机制（尽管现在的机制就已经很复杂了），能帮助玩家更快的集齐组件，让“一把爽”的几率大大提升。

关于写这次评测也是因为超过两小时没办法退款了，索性写一篇评价：P。本质上是一个好游戏，但是好评的话不一定能被看见。如果对这个游戏有改观我再写个好评awa，对冲一下

总结：底子好，但肯定有Rouge玩家不喜欢。祝好运，玩开心。

類rogue的數字對陣遊戲卻沒有rogue流派成形的體驗感
很容易玩的憋屈(不是指怪很強因為自身能力普通怪也沒有設計得太強)
遊戲難在遇到的事件關卡送的東西都不能刷新每一局都是進去靠運氣掉的東西搭配得起來輕鬆玩掉的東西搭不起來第三階段都還在用起始裝備
事件的等級也劃分的很不清楚第三階段有藍色事件只要7$升級自選的配件還可以重複結果同樣第三階段比藍色還高一個等級的橘色事件竟然有只有一個隨機配件的選項

其他的缺點就不說了總之類似遊戲有很多但這款很不推薦

If you love maths, this will be your favourite game. Love it.
Only issue is the same as any other Rogue game, there is luck involved. If you get combos between units, you may win, if not the final enemy will crush you easily.
I came back to play every some time, play 2 or 4 days, finish the game and leave it for a few months.

Scheint ein cooles game zu sein. Obwohl ich nicht alles zu 100 Prozent verstehe, weil mein Englisch leider begrenzt ist, bin ich doch ganz gut beim 1sten Boss vorbeigekommen. Jetzt könnte ich anscheinend teile was ein grünes Schrauben Symbol haben upgraden. Aber bei mir funktioniert das 1ne Ding nicht, und keine Ahnung wie das gehen soll? Oder geht das jetzt nicht weil ich vor einem Kampf bin? warum wurde es mir dann gerade erklärt? An manchen Spielen liegt es echt an halbherzigen Einführungen das man nicht richtig ins Spiel kommt, oder erst wenn man den Run versaut hat drauf wie es ginge, aber das könnte man sich halt echt oft leicht ersparen. Aber das Game selbst hat Abwechslung, es gibt ständig Entscheidungen wie man sein Schiff mit was upgraden kann, und ich wurstle mich mit meinem gebrochenen Englisch irgendwie durch, bis jetzt klappt es noch aber bin ja noch am Anfang. Hatte das Problem schon bei mehreren Games mit der Sprachbarriere, und wundere mich oft warum man das so umständlich oder gar nicht erklärt, oder warum für Karte ablegen 7 verschiedene Wörter benützt werden, soll man es absichtlich schwerer haben? Gilt jetzt nicht unbedingt für dieses Spiel, wie gesagt bis jetzt gefällt es sehr gut, und kann es für Leute was sehr gut Englisch können, und solche Art von Strategie mögen nur empfehlen!

I’m really impressed, scratches exactly the right roguelike itch. A few hours in, feels well balanced, different playstyles, pilots and ways to win. Initial runs until you unlock higher difficulty maybe slightly too easy for experienced players, but still makes you think.

Descriptions of effects could be a bit clearer at times and the English is sometimes a bit clunky, but all very workable and doesn’t detract from the overall charm of the game.

Runs well on steam deck. Only small gripe is that occasionally the cursor selection gets stuck during “vacation” or events and I have to use the touch screen to select an option.
