LineWay, developed and published by PONY, is a minimalist logic puzzle built around a single, elegantly simple objective: connect all the pieces on the board into one continuous path. I'm normally forgiving of $1 puzzle games. Unfortunately, Lineway both fails to introduce any truly interesting gimmicks, it also runs out of decent ideas well before its end.
The gimmick added at Level 51 in particular is annoying. Functionally, it isn't a new "puzzle" aspect, rather it turns the previous "perfect knowledge" structure into a trial-and-error memory process. Level 51 adds a special tile that when selected adds additional tiles adjacent to itself. In their most basic form, these are nearly pointless, as the pattern marking the original tile does indicate where the new tiles will appear. The real annoyance comes from how the new tiles can themselves be special tiles, including tiles that will add even more tiles.
The gimmick at Level 61 isn't as annoying, but it also functionally does absolutely nothing. Level 61 adds two types of removal tiles. One version removes certain tiles adjacent to it, while the other removes itself when every tile around it is activated. The game does not let you enter any tile that can be removed, so all removable tiles are functionally identical to never having a tile there in the first place.
The gimmick at Level 71 does at least have a function, but its inclusion honestly makes levels simpler. Level 71 adds a second tile color, and a special transition tile that lets you pass into the other color. What this functionally does is to split each level into two or three completely separate smaller simpler puzzles. For example, where you originally might have had to figure out a single path through a 5x10 grid of tiles, now you only have to find a path through two separate 5x5 grids.

Way too easy to complete. All 80 levels done in just as many minutes...
Some additional annoyances:
- The music, while pleasingly ambient at first, does get tiresome on its repeat rather quickly. I turned it off about halfway in.
- Every level has an impatient starting square that starts pinging incessantly while you examine the puzzle to see what path to take. Beyond distracting it's downright aggravating; the only real way around it is to click and hold the starting position to make the sound stop as you look at the puzzle. I'm not sure what the dev thought the audience of their puzzle game would be, but I think they missed the mark if they thought it was the kind of person that needs to be reminded that hey, you need to start here, every second you're not touching the game... :P
I hope the dev enjoys his/her coffee from the proceeds of my purchase, but seriously, it's not worth buying.

Schwierigkeit steigert sich mit Anzahl der Level.

Nice, simple game; I wish there were more levels, as well as some way to have a save point for the path so as to not need to repeatedly do the same things just to end up at same point as before. Most levels were straightforward but there were a few more difficult ones scattered around.
Relaxing. Graphics and music feel polished. The levels with unclear dead-ends (where you can't tell which spot is the last place you should go) felt less relaxing and required more trials and errors (with my limited IQ perhaps) but I eventually got through. Reasonable difficulty level, not easy enough to be boring and not difficult enough to require you to be a genius. Would recommend.

A really easy puzzle game with 80 levels to solve where all you have to do is to draw a line through every square. Every 10 levels you get a new mechanic added to the levels. It is ok, I just wish it was a bit harder and more challenging.
Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0).

条件付きのマスには方向指定マスや隠れブロックが出てくるマス、両サイドが消えるマスなどがあります。
両サイドが消えるマスや隠れブロックが出てくるマスは他の同系統のゲームでは見たことなかったので、独自性を感じました。開始位置は決まっています。
BGMは爽やかで良い感じです。効果音も気持ちのよい感じ。
デザインもシンプルでかわいらしく、全体隊としてヒーリング要素強めです。
爽やかなBGMを聴きながら線を引き小気味良い効果音を鳴らしパズルを楽しみたい方にはおすすめです！
一発書き系のパズルが好きな方にももちろんおすすめします。

It's just another line puzzle game. It does do a great job at teaching what patterns to look out for to solve the puzzles.
Otherwise the game gets less hard and more tedious as you go on. The game does introduce unique tiles that have the possibility to make the game interesting, but the levels fail to use them in an interesting way.
I'm not really sure if LineWay is an asset flip. This line drawing mobile app tier Unity puzzle game looks a lot like an asset flip/reskin of [url=https://gameosophy.net/product/one-line-puzzle-unity-game]One Line Puzzle Unity Game[/url] from Gameosophy. If it is, then this is a pure asset flip, it's a scam. If it's not, and I can't confirm it, it's functionally identical to a mobile app Unity asset and has no value as a real game for gamers... this shouldn't be here.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes LineWay might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a modest spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
LineWay is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

LineWay는 시작점에서 끝 점까지 하나의 선으로 경로를 이어나가면 되는 단순한 한붓그리기 형식의 퍼즐 게임이다. 보통의 퍼즐게임의 경우에는 후반부로 갈수록 난이도가 많이 올라가서 꽤나 머리를 써야하는 경우가 많이 오지만, 이 게임의 경우에는 후반부에 진입하더라도 난이도가 그렇게 높아지지 않기 때문에 보통의 다른 게임들과 비교했을 때 매우 쉽게 플레이할 수 있는 것이 특징이다.
총 80개의 퍼즐이 있고, 10개의 퍼즐을 풀때마다 배경색이 바뀐다. 배경색이 바뀌면서 새로운 기믹들이 추가된다. 초반에는 당연히 그 기믹에 관한 튜토리얼 형식의 퍼즐이고, 후반부로 갈수록 난이도가 올라간다. 그래도 위에 서술 했듯이 그렇게 높은 난이도가 아니니 걱정할 필요 없다. 그리고 최후반부 레벨에 가게되면 다른 기믹들도 섞여 나오지만, 이마저도 그렇게 어렵지 않기 때문에 (그래도 다른 레벨들과 비교했을 때는 난이도는 높은 편) 퍼즐과 담을 쌓은 사람들도 가볍게 즐길 수 있을 것이라 생각한다.
가격 또한 정가 1100원에 할인하면 770원으로 많이 저렴한 편이니 추천하는 바이다.

Pretty fun and chill game. However it is a very quick game and you can beat it in 30 minutes to 2 hours. Can be replayed at least a few times as although the levels don't change it's hard to remember the solution especially for how many levels it is so its decently replayable.
