Graficky velmi příjemná, příjemně klidná a pomalejší (než-li rychlejší) povedená strategie snadná k pochopení avšak plná zajímavýho obsahu hraní.
Je to taková zjednodušenej Medieval: Total War II, kterým je hra nepochybně alespoň částečně inspirovaná a je jí celkovým pojetím velmi podobná.

Es bleibt dabei...warum wird ein Spiel verkauft, dass in dieser Fassung nicht spielbar ist? Ich habe nach ein paar Jahren wieder Bock gehabt und weiß nicht mehr, wie ich es damals zum Laufen gebracht habe. Ich erinnere mich an eine Recherche damals. Die Guides zum fatalen Bug von damals liefen am alten PC, auf meinem neuen nicht. Ich möchte nicht mehr stundenlang Tipps durchforsten, um ein gekauftes Spiel zum Laufen zu bringen. Mein neuer PC hat kein Laufwerk, mein alter schon. Da werfe ich doch lieber die gekaufte DVD ein und zocke es mit passender Sprachausgabe und ohne fatalem Bug. Danke für nichts, Steam.

Fun for a while but don't expect a lot of depth or much variety between plays. Each faction feels more or less the same, just the starting location changes with 1 or 2 unique units. It's a great game if you prefer simpler systems than total war or paradox, and it does have a charm to it that doesn't exist anywhere else. For the price there's not a lot to complain.

Je joue à Knights of Honor depuis que je suis tout petit. J'ai grandi, les PC ont changé, les graphismes sont devenus ultra-réalistes ailleurs, et pourtant... c'est ici que je reviens toujours. C'est mon jeu "doudou", celui que je réinstalle inlassablement et qui ne quitte jamais mon disque dur.
on ne s'ennuie jamais! Contrairement aux jeux de stratégie modernes qui deviennent parfois des "tableaux Excel" illisibles, KoH a trouvé l'équilibre parfait. C'est accessible, mais incroyablement profond.
Le système de la Cour Royale : Gérer ses 9 chevaliers est une idée de génie qu'on ne voit nulle part ailleurs. Avoir un Maréchal pour la guerre, un Marchand pour l'or, un Clerc pour l'éducation... chaque choix compte.

Les Espions : C'est le seul jeu où j'ai pu infiltrer un royaume ennemi, me faire nommer chevalier chez eux, puis trahir leur roi pour annexer leur territoire sans verser une goutte de sang. Jubilatoire.

La rejouabilité infinie : Que vous commenciez avec un immense empire ou une toute petite province en Irlande, chaque partie est une nouvelle histoire. On se dit "juste 5 minutes pour finir cette guerre" et on relève la tête 4 heures plus tard.

La Bande-Son : Impossible de ne pas en parler. Les musiques (de Borislav Slavov) sont magistrales. Elles me donnent des frissons de nostalgie dès les premières notes.

Knights of Honor n'est pas juste un jeu de stratégie pour moi, c'est une partie de mon enfance et de ma vie de joueur. C'est une pépite que trop de gens ont oubliée, mais qui reste supérieure à bien des titres sortis en 2025.

Рыцари чести- это когда одинокий полдоводец в вашей глубинке в одну провинцию, кошмарит крупного соседа грабежами, пока тот с пехтурой ползет устранить наглеца, а вы в этот момент богатеет так словно на крипте подорвались и теперь у вас не халупка с амбаром, а могучая твердыня с гарнизоном. Рыцари чести- это когда вам не надо гадать кто при дворе шпион, ведь все родственники пристроены, а залетные идут менять религию в провинции. Рыцари чести- когда признание владыки Европы можно получить только от вассалов, а остальных ждет тотальный налет. Рыцари чести- это когда можно потерять все нажитое, только потому что ваш король не настрогал наследника и забил болт на ассимиляцию. Рыцари чести-это когда у тебя есть всё, но начинаешь новую игру чтоб погонять не поворотливую империю сново.

Very good grand strategy game that has a good mix of depth and accessibility. At the time I was too much into Europa Universalis 2 and Medieval Total War to go really in depth with Kights of Honor, but when I did play I got addicted really fast. It's great and plays great on the Deck!

A huge addiction that has allowed me to spend 100 hours playing this game.
I think this is what Total War-style games should be like, whether they're solo or co-op campaigns.
It doesn't have great graphics, but it does have good gameplay, multiple eras to start the campaign, and plenty of countries to play with.
Now let me go, I have to start getting hooked on the second part.

Knights of Honor is simpler than EU4 or Total War, but that makes it fun and easy to pick up yet still deep. The sequel is good too, but the first game has a charm the second one doesn’t.

With the HD patch it runs fine, though the UI is tiny on small screens. Works great on a full monitor and keyboard. I don’t bother with the battles since Total War does those better, but the strategy part is really fun. A true classic that’s still worth playing today.

Comprei o jogo por apenas 8 reais em uma promoção, sem grandes expectativas, mas com vontade de experimentar algo novo no gênero de gerenciamento.
As mecânicas não são difíceis de aprender; em poucas horas já é possível compreender bem como funciona, mesmo que o próprio jogo não explique tudo de forma clara. Ele não possui dublagem oficial em PTBR, mas a comunidade se encarregou desse trabalho e disponibilizou uma versão (vale conferir no fórum de discussão).
A experiência lembra bastante a série Total War, mas em tempo real. É impressionante pensar que esse jogo, lançado em 2005, só descobri 20 anos depois e foi uma ótima surpresa jogá-lo!

Krótka piłka: Kings of honor ma klimat. "Welcome ,Sir!" po wejściu do menu, ta muzyka w grze i można pograć Polską. Niestety, chociaż gra bardzo stara się być Medievalem, to jednak bliżej mu do zręcznościowego Centurions z tamtych czasów. Problem tej gry, że jest bardzo niedopracowana. Widoczność pola bitwy jest kiepska. Mapy są płaskie jak z HOM&M. Brak pełnego 3D i zoomowania kamery na polu bitwy. Poruszanie się jednostek jest drętwe, rozkazy często nie są wykonywane, AI jest dość głupia, niska rozdzielczość też nie pomaga. Oblężenie miast też jest bardzo drętwe. Gra z klimatem, której bardzo brakuje dopracowania strony technicznej i strategicznej. Lepiej sięgnijcie po Miedievala.

This game has a special place in my heart, since it came out. Every once in a while I return to play some more. So what is there to like, you ask? The graphics were not very good even when it came out, but it's easy on the eyes. After some time it grows on you. Personally I very much like the touch where the city is not generic for all nations. The sound get a bit repetitive after some time, but it still help you immerse. The narrator is insanely good. Frankly, when a friend of mine had a baby, I blurted "Hoorah! A royal child is born!" The gameplay? It is marvelous! Complex management of diplomacy, city management, field battles. What is more to ask? I will tell you what - difficulty! Even on its hardest setting, a veteran gamer will win in sub 2 hours. The AI doesn't know how to field its best units, how to best manage its cities for optimal results or how to fight a tactician Marshal. It ain't very bad, but the only time I felt threatened is in the beginning of the game with a single province country, when you are at war with a much larger enemy. Still, this game is offering you so much as a gamer. I would have added a bit more units though. Because, let's be honest - Teutonic knights, Feudal knights and Heavy crossbowmen are brokenly overpowered. Highly recommend to everyone who likes strategy games!

This is one of the most fun retro game that I've played. I didn't buy this when it first came out. I was busy with other life things during that period. So, there wasn't any nostalgia going into this experience.
This game is simplified compared to say EU4 or Total War, but this is a good thing because sometimes complexity doesn't always add value. This game is a good example of 'simple yet deep'.

I became interested in this game due to the release of the second game, which is also good, but there's something fun about this first game that the second one is lacking, and I'm not sure what that is. Maybe it's because of what I've already touched on: simplicity. It's simple to pick up and have fun with but still deep due to it's game play mechanics.

I use the community HD patch for a few bug fixes and the increased resolution to 1080p. However, due to this game's age, there's no UI scale. So, depending on the type of PC you have, you might have trouble with the UI being too small to read. For example, I can't play this on my laptop because the UI is too small and secondly, my laptop doesn't have Plus or Minus keys to change the game speed. Or a pause key, which is really important in this game.

But it works great on my main PC with a large monitor and a full keyboard. And even though my monitor is 1440p, the game still looks fine at 1080p.
I don't play the real time tactical battles. They are terrible in both this and the second game. So, if you are wanting a game with this feature, Total War still does this the best. But, the grand strategy elements in this game are fun and not overly complex like Paradox games.

We have to manage each city investing in buildings that will increase wealth or allow us to train units and trade with other countries to gain gold and precious goods. To defend or conquer lands we have many different types of units to recruit and we can fight directly in real-time battles or use the automatic function. Politics is also important and we need to wisely choose our relations to rule without trouble.
The gameplay is packed with many features hard to summarize in a few lines and combined with a simple but good battle system can offer dozens of hours of fun.

[i][b]> Story ( 6.8 / 10 ) :[/b][/i] game has a good representation of cities, factions and locations; there are a lot of factions to play, units change from place to place and historically is enough accurate. Unfortunately, there aren't campaigns that help us learn the game, only free-play mode where we just have to conquer everything.

[i][b]> Aesthetics ( 8.8 / 10 ) :[/b][/i] the old graphic is still beautiful to see in these days. There is a huge variety in battle areas, buildings and units, with a lot of details in every texture, icon and figure. While the absence of a zoom feature can be an obstacle to enjoying more aesthetics (and sometimes also for gameplay) games generally look very good and keep up good with the times.

[i][b]> Audio ( 7.3 / 10 ) :[/b][/i] a nice and varied soundtrack keeps us company during long hours of gameplay and is always a pleasure to listen. However, sound effects are very scarce and unit movements can be quite too loud. Even the voice assistant after a while can be annoying and monotonous.

[i][b]> Difficulty ( 7.6 / 10 ) :[/b][/i] with a complex system like that, KoH can offer a good challenge to every kind of player. Sometimes AI can be quite annoying and too frequent with attacks and sieges, but in general the game can be quite difficult and need a good dose of commitment.

For a 15+ yo grand strategy it's more than decent game. It has some issues and ocasionally crashes (win 11) but overall a decent time spending. The AI it's not very smart especially into combat but it can be challanging. The siege AI is quite dumb and if you don t enter the city once the wall is down it'll never bother the player - is just sitting tight while the trebuchet / catapults rain rocks just outside the newly demolished city gate. In the field battle is tedious to find your general and kill it so if you have range units you can form a V shape from them and put your general at the bottom of the "v". the entire enemy army will try to reach him while being showered with arrows. If you have steppe cavalary it's even better : after they run out of ammo will become your fastest swordsdman unit. By the time they run out of ammo usually the enemy has only the general.

Есть много нюансов в этой игре которые лично мне не понравились. Но все же назвать её плохой нельзя. Очень напоминает игры серии тотал вар но в упрощенном варианте. Интересно что вышла она в одном году с Rome: Total War, но видимо бюджет был гораздо меньше.
Из важных нюансов: со смертью правителя исчезают и все остальные члены семьи, исключая наследника, который собственно и занимает трон(зато наемные полководцы и торговцы бессмертны). В начале игры ресурсы в городах генерируются каждый раз случайным образом, так же случайно распределяются параметры правителя и отношения с другими странами.
Что не понравилось больше всего - в отличии от большинства подобных игр нет возможности расставить войска перед битвой, особенно напрягает при осадах городов и еще больше - когда нападают на твой укрепленный лагерь. Противнику чтобы выйти из города нужно хотя бы добраться до ворот, что дает некоторое время( да и он не так уж часто и выходит) но при защите лагеря все ваши войска раскиданы по палаткам, а враг всегда появляется прямо у края лагеря. Пока бойцы повылазят из палаток есть неслабый шанс потерять несколько отрядов.
В целом неплохая игра для своего времени.

Относительно посредственная стратегия, выезжающая за счёт ностальгии и ряда самобытных механик.
За русским языком и поддержкой современных экранов придётся нырять в интернет и искать патчи.
Часто выигрывается за счёт торговли семью торгашами, одним-двумя полководцами и/или одним шпионом/священником.
Три короля могут с пелёнок дожить до седых лет и помереть, а ваш первый полководец так и будет бегать бодрячком.
Странный ИИ, иногда соглашающийся на "белый мир" спустя пару мгновений с объявления войны.
Бои не особо впечатляющие, превращаются в охоту на рыцарей противника - лучше играть автобоем на карте мира.

Мог бы ещё что раскритиковать, но после того, как за Сербию захватил Рим и треть Средиземноморья, убил папу и вызвал ярость половины стран на карте, а затем потихоньку пришёл к "малой победе" ресурсами - ругать не хочется.
Ещё пару раз объединял Англию, играя за её малые государства, а один раз захватил ВСЮ карту Суздалем.
Это. Было. Офигенно.

Bu oyundan haberim bile yoktu, sevdiğim bi arkadaşım hediye etmişti. Merak edip denedim ve oyuna bayıldım :)
Oynanışı "Total War" oyunlarını andırıyor, Büyük Sefer Haritası ve Savaş Alanı olarak iki ayrı oynanışı var. Büyük Sefer modunda isterseniz savaşları kendiniz kumanda ediyor, isterseniz otomatiğe bırakıyorsunuz. Ama bu oyunun çok daha detaylı olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Grafik olarak daha kötü olabilir ama oynanış olarak inanın ki çok daha zengin bir içeriğe sahip.
Benzer yönler olarak;
1) Varisinizi değiştirebiliyorsunuz.
2) Birliklerin birbirlerine karşı üstünlükleri ve zayıflıkları var. Mızrak atlılara karşı daha iyi, kılıç piyadelere. Bazı bizimler aşırı zırhlı, bazı silahlar zırhlı askerlere karşı daha etkili. Mesela mızraklı piyade, mızraklı süvariye karşı 200% daha etkili savaşıyor, eğer süvari kılıçlıysa 100% etkili savaşıyor, eğer karşısındaki kılıçlı piyade ise -200% dezavantajlı oluyor vb.
3) Dikkatli olmazsanız okçularınız kendi adamlarınızı vurabiliyor. Surların üzerine adamlarınızı çıkarabiliyorsunuz, okçular savunmada daha iyi ama merdiven dayarlarsa yakın dövüş piyade birimlerine ihtiyaç duyuyorsunuz. Mancınık vs. burda da var.
4) Askerleriniz demoralize olursa savaştan kaçabiliyorlar, eski Total War oyunlarında ki gibi burda da deniz savaşlarını kontrol edemiyorsunuz. Diplomasi burda da var ama diplomat göndermeden direkt diyaloğa başlayabiliyorsunuz.
5) Şehirlere bina inşa ederek gelişmiş savaşçı birimler üretebiliyorsunuz. Geliri arttıran binalar inşa edebiliyorsunuz.
Total War oyunlarına nazaran eksik yönleri;
1) Başkent değiştirme yok, şehirlere özel vergilendirme yok, ticaret rotaları yok dolayısıyla ticaret yollarına saldırma da yok, limanları ablukaya alma yok. Pusu atma şansı Sefer Haritasında da Savaş Alanında da yok.
2) Komutanınız ölünce savaşı direkt kaybetmek saçma olmuş.
Total War oyunlarına nazara iyi yönleri;
1) Gece - Gündüz modu var, Sefer Haritasında özellikle geceleri seyahat ederseniz ordunuz moral kaybediyor, yani moral sadece savaş alanı içinde geçerli değil. Ayrıca ordunun yiyecek erzağı da var, belli aralıklarla stoğu doldurmalısınız yoksa ordunuz aç savaşır.
2) Savaşı otomatik sonlandırınca bile hemen bitmiyor, oyun tur tur değilde gerçek zamanlı strateji. Yani saldırıya uğradığınızda savaş bitmeden destek gönderebilirsiniz. Ayrıca Merkezi şehirlerin etrafında köyler, tarım alanları, manastırlar, liman kasabaları vs var, oraları yağmalayıp, yakıp yıkarak düşmanın ordusunu şehirden çıkarmaya zorlayıp açık alanda savaşabilirsiniz.
3) Savaşı Kralınız ile yönetiyorsanız inanılmaz bir moral bonusu kazanıyor ordunuz. Komutanlarınız savaştıkça deneyim kazanıyor ve bu deneyim puanları ile aktif ve pasif yetenekler açabiliyorsunuz. Kralınız varisi olmadan öldüyse Komutanlarınızdan biri tahtı ele geçiriyor ve sıradaki kral oluyor. Kabul etmeyen komutanlar ayaklanma başlatabiliyor. Hatta varis değiştirdiyseniz, diyelim en küçük prens en yetenekli olan ve ona bırakmayı seçtiniz tahtınızı ve kral öldü, abileri o sırada ordu kumanda ediyorsa çok yüksek ihtimalle iç savaş başlatıyorlar :D Ayrıca size casus sokmuş iseler, varisiniz olmadan ölür ve komutanlardan biri tahtı devralırsa ve o komutan hain bir casus ise krallığınız düşmanın eline geçer.
4) Oyuna başlarken seçebileceğiniz çok fazla devlet var ve 4 ayrı din mevcut. Haçlı seferleri ve Cihad, yani din savaşları var, din değiştirmek var, her dinin kendi özellikleri var. Her ülkenin kendine has özel birlikleri olduğu gibi herkesin yetiştirebildiği ortak birlikler de var. Rakip ülkelerin krallarının kendine has kişilikleri var ve bu onlarla olan ilişkinizi ve diplamasi hamlelerinizi oldukça fazla etkiliyor.

I've played this game many time over and beat it a couple of times. It's the kind of game that offers a lot variety and the replayability is massive,that's why I find my self playing this game from time to time again. The base game is great but with mods its even better. Even thou it's an older game the graphics are still pleasing to look at. There is no campaign mode,you choose 1 from 3 time periods and select the country you want to play.
You have almost complete freedom to play how you want,and the world responds accordingly to your actions,which I find the most fun. There is also a online-multiplayer mode but i'm not sure if it still works.

Гра чудова. Вона цікава і актуальна й зараз. Гра мого дитинства, яка ще багато років тому подарувала мені дуже багато яскравих годин. Вона, як Crusader Kings, але більш мінімалістична.

Сумно, що доводиться ставити негативну рецензію через технічний стан, бо якщо гра продається, то хотілося б мати готову підтримку сучасних моніторів (хоча б 1080р). Якщо за гру беруть гроші, навіть й невеликі - то користувач не повинен шукати в Ком'юніті, як пофіксити відображення інтерфейсу, тим паче головного екрану.

Яка альтернатива - можете спробувати її на Steam Deck. Там з відображенням все добре. Головне, аби керування було для Вас зручним. Тим паче, що його налаштувати під себе - не проблема.
