So this game when it came out was complete ♥♥♥♥, not worthy the price at all. Now when the game is finished they release DLC? WTF i have been here with this amateur that created this game when it was ♥♥♥♥ and now i have to buy another DLC for the game.....

ok so first off i do in a way like the game, havent tried multiplayer but solo is fun enough. but i gotta be brutally honest towards some issues.
Its very clunky, might just be my setting but idk i dont think it is. and one of my biggest issues is the tech tree ...... this game is basically risk, how the eff are you gonna throw a perma tech tree in and think its balanced? its one of the big reasons why i wont touch multiplayer. say i get thrown into a match with someone who has perfect everything and i have nothing? how in the least bit is that fair? now im not sure if there is a balancing system or not but personally i say get rid of it or make it so its an in game tech tree, make the game more of a choice, do you want better troops or more or better tech which in the long run might be better but could screw you in the here and now.
Now onto my last point i wouldnt mind being able to click one type of troop and get just that troop. i double click a spearman and i get my entire melee group. maybe add afew buttons that could select all melee all rangers all healers, and then do the same cept for just on screen units. and with those buttons being in place, remove the double click gets all.

-Los diálogos no son hablados por lo que da menos viveza al juego y lo hace carecer de cierta calidad y carisma
-El sistema de ganancias para crear soldados es malo, solo ganas con el tiempo
-La distribución de escucha de los sonidos esta mal diseñada
-Los arqueros hacen muy poco daño

This game is a fantastic jewel to play with friends and anyone who likes that risk like RTS games. The developers are VERY active and it is not at all hard to speak to them VIA their discord which is on the main menu in the game. You control towers and provinces in a custom made or queued match to make money and spend 1,2,3,5,25 gold for the individual units of any time period and try to take over the map using micro strategy. As you play win or lose you receive money towards other army models which are pretty detailed. AND soon to be a map editor! Woohoo. Every bug I find I report and it is fixed sometimes within even minutes. They have a lot on their roadmap with this game and are very friendly, sometimes it feels like Im in a small way a part of the games development criticism on the game is WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR, very active amd ready to help any players. Me and my friends have enjoyed hours and hours of gameplay. Money well spent.

This game completely obliterates your CPU in ways that you wouldve never seen coming.
Basically already during the second mission in the campaign my Power draw would go sp high that even with the power supply my laptop was actually discharging. My framerate started to dip below 60 and i honestly struggled getting even just single units to do as i ordered them with great delay. Considering that other strategy games can essily handle tens of thousands of units before throttling occurs by the cpu, this game really fails its expectations causing the same issues with only a couple hundred units on the field.

The game is too simple for my taste.
1. The game is played with towers- which control a area and earn income each turn, turns- that are 60 seconds each, and troops. So the whole game is spawn as many units as you can attack the next area so you can spawn more troops next turn and do it over and over again til you win or lose.
2.When i first seen the game it talked about different eras and showed different units, so i thought that there would be some type of upgrade system nothing too complex like (armor, weapons, speed, ect) just something like a unit upgrade as a whole (ex: spearman to veteran spearman) at least in the campain.
3. Last- The AI enemies units seem to have random strength, they will be very weak or overpowered.
Lost interest at the 3rd mission were they just started throwing masses of enemies at me, which is something i've always hated in strategy games.
I must say first of all this is the first time i ever recieved replies from game developers with their input that I respected hearing. I do hope the changes are added as well I look forward to retrying this game in the near future as I already recieved my refund and spent it elsewhere.
In the mean time I will leave my old review posted to see what reason i changed my review from not reccomending to reccomending it. As i mention in my reveiw previously, the game has a lot of great aspects to it. I really am hoping more keybinding options are added to the game like a key that you could tab through your towers/heros/units. One other thing i noticed was when i did take a group of units and i would get them to attck a spot on the mini map that it didn't que to the same spot i clicked on the mini map to the map itself. Things that can be tweaked for smoother gameplay.
The dev's are definatly on the right path here. Keep it up!

I refunded this after an hour of gameplay. There is not hot key setup so you are constantly clicking the mini map and trying to select most of the units then click to mini map and try to make them all go to same target. The way points for towers dont work well. Everything is dont with only wasd(for camera movement) and then the rest is right and left mouse button. SO MUCH MORE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH IT as far as controls and hot keys but it makes me feel like im back in the 90's with these garbage controls. I cannot reccomend this game in it's current state.
I have no issue with the graphics and character models, its the controls and lack of them that makes the gameplay horrible.

This game is the perfect real time strategy game. I bought it some months ago and i really love it.
What i most like about it is the fact that its getting updates all the time and its also possible to communicate with the developers by using Discord. By joining the discord it is also possible to find some players (`cause the only bigger problem is that there are not enough players).
I mean the game looks nice, has great gameplay mechanics, a diversified story mode, different armys (splitted in medieval, WW2 future) and gets its updates by the speed of light.
So just buy it if you are interested in strategy .-.
A great and simple game that you can sink hours into, especially if you are a fan og CIV, Red Alert and the likes. It is very time strategic. And you get more value than what the price may advertise. The developer is eager and engage with the community. As an early access stage it rooms very big promises. Although they just had their biggest update to date, a a party mode is in the workings. Love this game so far, would recommend!
Hopefully we see much more fluid movement mehcanics, type of units and more campaigns.

- cant mark more than 25(?) units at once.
- moving units (their behaviour) is often wierd/maladroit/heavy
- shift hotkeys does not work (planned)
- sometimes units doesnt react to hotkeys
Final verdict: 7.5/10
Devs promised to keep supporting game and even later make official editor but I still recommend this game mainly for Risk/RTS players, especially for players of SC2 Risk Legacy arcade.
The game looks raw and underdeveloped... I got stuck on second mission and there is no skirmish and online seems empty too... Horrible graphics and poor content. No strategy and nothing to do rather than capture points and sit and wait for gold to generate...
Very nice game and nice to see good advancement on the Risk scene.
This is a great game to explore your abilities as a general and war time commander. This is a lot more fun than playing the usual risk game since regular risk involves 0 micro management. Micro management and action is a great deal which most people tend to forget and is why this game is fun to play since you get more ways to finalize a victory over your enemy.

I love this game it has great theme under its belt aswell as great battles that can take place. However when i first got on i could not find anyone on the severs to play with so i had to play on singleplayer mode. There is a discord for this game but anyway i suggest this game to anyone who is looking for a great strategy game.
Actually i saw some things....The game is an RTS risk like (absolutelly) with wonderfull graphics. I dont have many hours playtime but as a veteran RTS/TBS gamer with 17 years experience i can say that this game worth to buy it if you have a not big end pc and wanna chill a bt with your friends.
It has a good system by merging TBS and RTS, it has turns that auto change over time (1 minute ea)
The huggest roblem of the game is that it has not advertisement so veeeeeery few players are online to join. Last days i played only one game with only one player which means that you gonna get borred soon.
The next paych so far is AI. That means that you can play singleplayer to enjoy it.
Anyhow, the only way that i recomend this game is:
- To support developers that are really active (you can find them at discord
- To rise the community so we can have more players available to enjoy each other
While I love the original WC3 and starcraft mods. This game should be free the main problem is its not as good (yet) as e.g. the Starcraft 2 mod which you can play for free (starcraft is not free but its mod section is).
But I'd love this game to become a success since it is one of my favorite mods of all time and hope the devs will make it free such that at least some people will play it, currently it is easier to start a game in SC2 then in this game which is sad. Also the game has some minor bugs and the mini map and country distinction is not useful yet, I also hope they'll add the numbers a country is worth on the map.
Generally I hope they make this game free add some clown skins and just copy the original mod completly befor they do anything else.
Ill like it cause I want it to suceed not because its already that good
Great core gameplay. Currently bare-bones but developers listen to community suggestions and actively work on featurers.
One of the greates Risk style games. It remeinds me old Warcraft 3 maps i think everyone should at least check them out.

I was very suprised to how fun this game was, not too active as of right now , so multiplayer might be slow to have some players with, but i am sure once this game gets out there, it will be alot better, im very excited to see where this game is going to go.
Great grapics, they remind me of Warcraft III but better.
Controls of the game are pretty standerd, Select units, press attack command "q" select ground area where you wish to send units. The game FPS late game needs improvement, tends to lag alot.
Crashes, hardly none thus far the game is very playable, we only need a bigger play base.
This game is good if you looking to kill time and you are board with every other game.
You even can play with the dev in this game, very supportive and polite person.
Great game! Is very much in early access, but I believe that this will be amazing when it is complete. LOVE IT.
I got very high expectations for this game, when i saw it for the first time. After i have played this game, its all the money worth. I think people should be it, so the community in this game will be bigger. I played 5 people in my first game (all vs, all) and it worked very very good.
KOTW's gameplay is very nice, the graphic is good, its a simple game all can understand very fast.
There are some small issues about the techical part, but i think that will optimated very fast - but the game still worked very fine.
I looking forward to more people will play it, and the future versions. This game have a very very big
potential to be one of the best games in this category.

So this is going to be a lengthy one, the game is at the quality all Indie Early Access games should be at release! It is not perfect in any way but it is solid and playable! I will go through the different aspects of the game to cover them!
Graphics: The graphics are good and i think this might be the first game where it looks better in-game than on the screenshots. The style is obviously toony but it fits well! The menu is also really cool!
Gameplay: Okay so they got all the basics right here regarding combat, unit control etc. There is still room for improvement of course, but i believe that's also intended
Performance: It ran surprisingly well actually, however some smaller FPS spikes and the likes did happen in the larger battles.
Sound: The sounds and music are pretty good and fits well.
Stability: There seemed to be a few units glitching out, a unit controlling a tower not in correct position, could easily be fixed by selecting another unit instead though. Also the units on the boats seemed to glitch a little.
Recap: There's a lot of potential for this! And they have got the foundation totally right. However there's of course also still room for lots of new stuff and improvements! We played as 4 players and it ran well, i don't however know if it will for larger player numbers. Also the Developer that were in the game seemed nice and helpful.
Recommendation: I will recommend this game! Especially if you're playing together with some friends i believe it's perfect for that! However if you're into competitive gaming i would say you should wait a few weeks or a month so they've got time to adjust and improve some of the things.
