I wish I could like this one more, but it just... the pacing is garbage guys. First of all, more dumb guns to use against spiders, really? Then the fact that most things you do in this game only give you this new dumb ressource, which is basically collectathon items. Like Golden Bananas, Jiggies, Stars... It just feels bad to do challenges after the first bit of the game gives you equipment for them, knowing all you get is another "progress game rock". Awful.

The upgrades you can get for weapons now are also mostly uninteresting. Wow, I get more ammo... Wow, my magazine holds a few more rounds. Riveting stuff. At least a few are useful, like altfire modes or the ability to run a bit faster. Did I mention the levels are huge, and it's a pain to traverse them after a while? Again, pacing issues.

But the real reason I write this is the challenges. My god. Some are cool, like you know, getting x amount of spiders in a time limit, but even then they mess up by ALSO giving you an HP bar for them? Why, just have the time limit. Frustrating, but at least there are ways to cheese it.
And then there's the absolutely idiotic idea to put parkour challenges in a game that controls about as precisely as a stick of butter in a hot pan. Really, guys?! Was that really necessary?! Heck, I don't even wanna attempt the bigger ones in later levels.

So yeah, I remember playing the first one 100% in pretty much one go, cause I was just finding all the cool stuff whenever I completed any challenge there. But in this, all you get is boring rock, impractical weapons and meaningless upgrades, and I'm having a really hard time even pushing past the 50% mark here.

Already knew there was a sequel but I never looked for it until a few days ago.
Even if it was brief, I think this has been the best sequel I've played (If you really liked and enjoyed the first one obviously).

Worse version of Kill it with fire 1. The maps are HUGE, which might sound fun, but the thing is, there's still the same amount of spiders, meaning every single spider is separated, and instead of killing horde's of spiders, you're killing individual spiders only like every 10 seconds at a time, it's really annoying, and I wish developers would learn that making sequels doesnt mean increasing the map size.

Uses a centralized authentication server that keeps kicking my friend and I from our co-op campaign.

All I wanna do is kill spiders with my friend and the developers decided they need to be in the middle of that mucking it up.

Negative review until they can fix the centralized server causing issues in co-op campaigns.

its ok but the only mode I like in it is spider hunt I feel that kill it with fire 2 has changed I like the first game beater I mean I got this wen it first came out and I am still not a big fan I play it from time to time but its just not for me I gas I mean I like it but I do not love it the maps are cool the the weapons are just not the same

This game is kinda ok. Kinda. This is nothing like part 1. You will be thrown into the game without any explanation, will have to navigate the game world of 7 large levels with a dozen of objectives each. I finished most of the game in about 12 hours but the rest 20% of completion rate took twice as much: so many types of collectibles on huge levels, not even the detector upgrade can save you time, using guides is the only way to progress at some point.

Schon der erste Teil war herrlich chaotisch, aber Kill It With Fire 2 setzt in Sachen Wahnsinn und Spaß nochmal einen drauf.
Ich habe selten so viel gelacht und gleichzeitig so sehr mit den Nerven gekämpft. Die Jagd auf diese winzigen, achtbeinigen Gegner ist einfach extrem lustig. Mehr als einmal musste ich schreien, weil mich eine Spinne komplett überrascht hat. Genau diese Mischung aus Humor, Chaos und purer Panik macht das Spiel so besonders.
Die übertriebenen Waffen, die absurden Situationen und die ständig eskalierende Zerstörung sorgen dafür, dass keine Minute langweilig wird. Es ist nervenaufreibend, hektisch und gleichzeitig unfassbar unterhaltsam.

Kurz gesagt: Absolute Empfehlung! Ich hatte unglaublich viel Spaß.

Da ich auch die Kampagne mittlerweile zu 100% fertig und jede Steam-Errungenschaft erreicht habe, würde ich mich sehr über einen weiteren Teil freuen. :D
