Good game. Would strongly recommend these tweaks:
-Rebalancing Enemy Commander in Wicked Campaign
-Displaying some type of progress when fighting through campaign (I had never played the Wicked Campaign before, but it showed crowns over everything right from the start. It was potentially like this because I had already beat the game on an earlier patch)

Recent patch made the UI/UX so bad it's awful to play
Was going to recommend this game, but then loaded it up and the UI had completely changed and was especially unintuitive when using a controller. A shame because the core gameplay is really good, but I couldn't even get to that with the new UI.
Will emend this review if the UI improves.
I don't know what happened to the UI i used to play this like a year or two ago and it worked perfectly fine and now its like duplo sized info boxes that takes 1/5 of the screen, i feel like it needs a few settings to un-bloat the UI sizing or at least revert back to how it used to be, everything is too big now.
You used to be able to have everything in one screen fitting all nice and neat, you could see all the heroes on top and now you have to click a menu a shop menu that doesnt even display everything where you have to click and drag like its a phone screen.
You could even see empty equipment slots and look over on them when there was something equipped now there's no slots and the item is a tiny icon on the side that you cant look over anymore.
The UI was perfect the way it was, what happened, it looks like a modern triple AA UI where everything you need is hidden behind a bunch of menus.
The game is good, I like it and I wanted to play again but these changes are a genuine dealbreaker to come back to play.
I was just getting into this game, then a patch comes out and makes the UI completely unintuitive.
Why ruin a good thing? It's frustrating to have to click through so many things now to see units/items/stats etc.
Will probably wait to see if it gets reverted.

I liked it more when it was simpler, too many unnecesary updates kinda made it more unfun as time went on (especially adding more achivements and making me have to come back to 100% it again like four times)

Cool game, i like roguelikes and i like how you can mix your team of heros and the different items/powerups, although the game feels short its really replayable. The game does get pretty repetitive anyway but i did like it in my time, it is worth the price

I like the idea! They have improved it. The balance is still off, the upgrading is still confusing, the difficulty is still too hard, the controls are still too inaccurate. Can't recommend it in this state, though I would like to!

garbage. no tutorial. no ui for you money so its a guess. health seems to be dropping even if no enemies are even ear some of the dudes on your team...neat idea bad implementation. this whole game is based on money management, keeping dudes who attack at a distance alive and abilities and two of those things are broken in my review, so...
I dig it a lot, and they keep adding stuff to the game, which gets me to go back and see all the new content. It's a nice paced auto-battler-esque roguelite where choices do matter and it has a hint of luck and RNG into shop offerings.
overall, I do recommend.

The game is just not fun. The time i spent on it i felt like a chore, it has enough unique mechanics to stand out from other vampirelikes, but out of all vampirelikes i played thats the most boring one

Very cool game, good replayability, kind of difficult, lots of different characters that are able to work off of each other.

看到自走棋就买了，玩了发现是披着自走棋皮的肉鸽游戏。
这个操作方式挺有创意的，装备的设置蛮成熟的，职业种类也很丰富，作为肉鸽来说算不错的游戏。
但是从自走棋角度看的话，大冬天要一直露个手握鼠标操作真的好冷。
One of those $5 games that you buy on sale, then realize its actually a good nights worth of fun. Just King does its best to keep the replay-ability factor. They have PvP, they have challenge mode, loop mode, and a nice selection of heroes to mix and match to scratch the ol "Binding Of Isaac synergies" itch.
- Heroes variety, trinkets to give them, positional advantages. Its like a board game meets Vampire Survivors.
- Plenty of creativity between builds. Hours of content (I'd wager 5-10+ hours minimum if you like all the modes)
- Fresh take on the Vampire Survivor formula, with that simplistic cutesy style of art.
+Recommended! Yeah for $5 the value is there. They update the game frequently, and diversify the content to try to keep a variety of gamer styles interested. If you get it on sale its a steal, if you get it full price I still think you're getting more than $5 worth of bang for you buck. Just King is deserving of its 90%+ rating easily.
Super chill, simple yet enjoyable and at times challenging. It revolves around in-depth synergy creation mechanic which constantly receives updates. Recommend.
This is such a fun game to just pick up and play. It has enough depth to be interesting but not so much that you need tutorials. They have definitely found that middle ground between too simple and too complicated. Each round is quick and you can save between them, so the game requires no real time investment. Even so, there is a TON of stuff to unlock. So you always have something to work towards. This is one of those games that I would recommend to just about anyone. I'd honesty be surprised if someone didn't enjoy it.

The newer PvP mode is pretty fun too, it's mostly hands off; setup your team and watch them go.
I'd say if you enjoy things like Halls of Torment, Vampire Survivor, or anything similar, this is worth the asking price.

The game bugs at the first treasure chest in zone 1 every run and doesn't allow further progress. I've tried reinstalling multiple times and resetting.
가볍게 즐기기 좋은 게임. 왕 주변에 최대 4명의 유닛을 골라 자동으로 전투를 진행하고, 유닛들이 죽지 않게끔 컨트롤하는 게 중요합니다. 다만 이동 속도가 느리고, 적과 장애물에 막히거나 밀리는 물리 충돌이 구현되어 있어서 초반에 컨트롤 적응하는 데 좀 애먹을 수 있겠네요.
캐릭터들 특색도 다양해서 이것저것 조합해 보는 것도 괜찮고, 모든 직업이 기본적으로 밥값은 하기 때문에 탱커 힐러 하나씩 챙겨두면 무난하게 클리어는 가능합니다. 탱힐이 없어도 조합이나 아이템, 컨트롤로 극복할 수 있구요. 다만 밸런스 패치를 꾸준히 하는 것 같긴 한데 2022년도 리뷰에 op인 캐릭터가 아직도 강력하긴 합니다. 이전까지 의미있는 밸패가 있었는지는 잘 모르겠네요.
그래도 죽은 게임은 아닌 것 같습니다. 도전과제가 언락이 안되는 버그가 있어서 디스코드 가서 문의했는데, 개발자들이 빠르게 대응해 줘서 금방 해결했습니다. 디스코드랑 pvp가 활성화되어 있고 개발자들도 적극적이니 게임 진입에는 문제가 없을 것 같네요.
아 브금도 괜찮습니다. pve는 결국 잠긴 요소 해금을 위한 반복 플레이인데, 브금이 상당히 괜찮아서 나름 물리지 않고 플레이했고 아예 따로 사운드트랙도 구매했습니다.
가격도 싸고 추천합니다.
패턴이 단조롭고 창의적이지 못하지만 가격을 생각하면 충분히 즐길만함,
볼륨 자체가 아쉬움 그래도 잘 만든 게임

比较精致的一款类自走棋游戏，但游戏关卡数偏少，新鲜感维持的比较困难
Jest mnóstwo kombinacji postaci, które całkiem przyjemnie się odkrywa. Osiągnięcia wpadają często, choć są niektóre bardziej pod grinding.
Sama w sobie gierka jest superancka, grafika prosta, ale urocza, muzyka niezła.
Na minus kontrolki, były irytujące. Raczej coś oglądałam w tle, ale do gierki trzeba mieć raczej WSAD + mouse.
Ostatecznie super się bawiłam. Gra ma duże replayability. Lecisz i ogarniasz różne kombinacje i to czy zadziała. Na bossach można się trochę potrudzić, zanim ogarnie się ataki. Nieźle.
Try mixing Hades and Vampire Survivors in ur brain.. now add multiplayer.. now take multiplayer away but you still have their champs in play....
Pretty fun! If you like Vampire Survivors you'll probably like this too. Lotta achievements!

대전모드 랭킹 초기화는 화요일이라고 나오지만 한국 기준으로 매주 수요일 03시쯤 인듯(랭킹 초기화 후 당일 오전 혹은 오후 넘어서까지도 서버가 닫혀서 대전 모드를 못함.)
대전모드 방식은 대략↓
- 플레이 시 내 덱이 등록이 됨
- 다른 플레이어들이 올려 놓은 10번째 덱(최종 덱)과 싸움에서
- 이기면 그 플레이어의 현 랭킹에서의 점수를 얻어 내 점수에 덮어씌움()
- 지면 소량의 점수만 얻음
- 내가 올려놓은 덱이 다른 플레이어를 이겨도 승리점수를 획득
- ! [최종판(10번째판) 가기 전까지 2번 패배하면 매치 종료]

Está bueno el juego, muy simple y divertido, es de esos juegos que uno juega un ratito como para hacer tiempo o para distraerse un rato.
Just King es una mezcla entre Rogue-lite o Rogue-like (no sé la diferencia) con un Autofighter, donde nosotros elegimos dos personajes con los que empezar (que tienen dos tipos o roles que, cuando juntas varios personajes con tipos iguales vas obteniendo más ventajas) para defender al rey. Mientras avanzamos por los niveles, siempre habrá un receso para que gastemos el dinero que vamos obteniendo en dichos niveles para comprar ítems o más personajes en la tienda para mejorarlos. La tienda no es la única pausa que tendremos entre combate y combate, sino que también nos aparecerán unos encuentros especiales en los cuales nosotros deberemos elegir una opción a llevar a cabo (como si de un juego de rol se tratase) para obtener distintos ítems o mejoras para los personajes. Al final de cada partida habrá un jefe al que tendremos que derrotar que, dependiendo del mapa que elegimos, será de un tipo u otro, en caso de que derrotemos al jefe, se nos desbloquearán todas las cosas que usamos a lo largo de la partida en un Compendio (que es como un historial de objetos) y los personajes para usarlos en futuras partidas.
El juego es bastante divertido y en su momento cuando apenas lo compré, lo habré jugado de corrido como por cinco horas xd. Actualmente tiene más contenido que el que tenía en un principio y es actualizado cada tanto.
