An indie Metroidvania/JRPG that is heavily story-based about a goo creature who hates his job and his lazy cousin

Storyline

Jeebo is sick of his mundane office job so he decides to quit. His boss, BOSS, tells him that company policy is to "kill deserters" and so the whole office tries to kill him. After Jeebo escapes, BOSS destroys the entire office building in his rage. Jeebo then goes to stay with his lazy cousin who just watches TV all day. They realize that this too is unfulfilling and set off on an adventure to find meaning.

Definitely cathartic for those who have worked in a corporate office environment! I loved the background phone calls mimicking the kind of inane requests you might receive..."we don't want your ointment here, sir." All of the dialogue with the boss is funny in the so-true kind of way.

The platforming is fun, with spring and wall jumps introduced fairly quickly. The slowly approaching death-boss is a classic also. I liked that gaining experience made a big difference each time as well, helping you escape the battles more quickly.

The title music rocks! And the rest of the tracks are nice too. The visuals are a bit sporadic, but the battle/field animations are pretty good! I always love being a pile of goo.

This game is aptly named. Life--all the absurdity, senselessness, and violence of it--is thoroughly roasted. The writing is witty, the parody is deep, and the charm of the whole package is undeniable.

This is pretty fun! The music is cool and the comedy is great. The combination of platforming and pokemon-style battles is pretty clever. I found some of the platforming a little difficult. Overall great game, I'm gonna keep playing!

This game was made by a very dear friend of mine. I see all the hard work he has put into it, and for those of you who like RPGs you will love the game. It's a game with good music, funny dialogue and a unique story as well. There is much to be discovered in the world of Jeebo and Jerbo. I believe chapter 2 is on its way out very soon. Give this game a try!

Fantastic game with an amazing world. The lore and story are phenomenal and the gameplay is very fun too. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys funny and interesting worlds akin to that of Undertale/Deltarune (You can definitely see a lot of Toby Fox influence in the game lol)

Well made platformer with a goofy side and a darker side. Fits the named genres well and has a well scored soundtrack. Replayability also makes this game worth the time youll be able to get out of it.
