I finally finished this game 100% after coming back at it several years later.

I can honestly say, considering the reviews, that this game is the most underrated game I know. It has so much to offer that I dont get why it isn't more famous. It's clearly a little gem, a hard one sure, but a gem nontheless.

If you want to buy this game you need to know few things first :
- You want a challenging puzzle game.
- You appreciate horror game for their feeling of being weak and constantly hunted.
- You have a good 3D spatial intelligence and good wayfinding ability.
- You like to understand things by yourself.
- You enjoy having a fragmented lore you'll have to explore to find your answers.
If you check, I would say, 4 out of these 5 things then you should like it (maybe more ?).

I was myself so involed playing I was like the main protagonist. Deaths sometimes felt like I had been shot in my back, thus making the pleasure of success so enjoyable.
I'll always remember once you understand the "thing" about the level design. I was in awe. So, try to avoid all spoilers and live the adventure.

The cherry on top, once you unlocked all path, is reading all the logs and finally complete the whole story.

Thanks to people who made this game. I'll sure try the next ones from the developpers.

Interesting concept, but very rough around the edges.

Sound design needs polish, movement needs polish, gameplay needs polish, story needs polish.

Sound mixing is all over the place, some sounds play very oddly (ie wooden footsteps on stone floor, ambient sound and gameplay sound is jarringly contrasted). Plays very clunky. Intro is supposed to convey some sort of story but just a black screen with the sound of a car crash, then instantly into the game world.

Price drops drastically on a sale. Otherwise it is definitely not worth the full price.

Infernium crashes consistently every time I get about one minute into the game. I have tried setting my graphics to low but the game still crashes. It's not like my PC is slow either. it can run Counter Strike Two at max graphics at 200 fps. I am very disappointed because I just bought this game and I thought it would be really fun. I can't find a single way to get it to work. I also couldn't find anything online about it. Not sure if i should recommend this game or not.

Edit: The community was really helpful and someone told me to paste a code into my launch settings. The game runs great and it was a really easy fix. It is a really fun and creative game. It is difficult and requires a lot of thought. There is a lot of work put into this game and it isn't the only good game this dev has made. Good job!

说实话这个游戏非常好玩，挺不错的一款生存恐怖解密游戏。场景美化中规中矩。其实整体上来说并不恐怖，恐惧来自于怪物的追逐战给你带来的逃跑压力。
单看怪物其实并没啥恐惧的，只是个裹了个被单的隐形怪而已。还有白色的怪以及白色略带点蓝色的怪，还有黄色的怪。白色的有固定的巡逻路线，你不靠它太近的话，它不会伤人。白色略带蓝色的看到你会靠近，你只需要用手电筒照它，它就会爆炸，黄色的有点难搞，你要等它快靠近你时你赶紧冲刺它才会爆炸。其次就是最后一关那里比较难搞，两个白色的怪，两个会爆炸的怪，两个红色的怪，一个蓝色的怪，一个黑色的怪。开关离得老远，不好跑不过去。
无怪模式都很难过，更别说有怪模式下。总体来说还是挺不错的。

El principal atractivo de INFERNION está en su diseño artístico y mundo abierto. Piérdete (literalmente) en escenarios que te dejarán con la boca abierta mientras los espectros intentan devorarte el alma. Es como una entrega de correos pero en el purgatorio y más estresante.

Además, el juego se jacta de no tener una línea directa de progresión. ¿Soy solo yo, o tienen problemas para decidir qué hacer a continuación? Es innovador pero a la vez puede dejarte más perdido que turista sin Google Maps.

Aunque la idea de combate es innovadora, a veces se siente como rezarle a las deidades del RNG. Hay momentos en que te preguntarás si tu teclado o control tienen un complot en tu contra porque nada responde como debería.

La dificultad podría ser otro aspecto. Un juego puede ser desafiante, pero aquí a veces sientes que el juego te odia personalmente. Y bueno, puede que aligerar la curva de aprendizaje no le haría un mal favor.

嫌いではないのですが、移動が遅くてインタラクトもめちゃくちゃ遅くて何をするにもストレスが溜まるので(そういうゲームなのは分かっていますが)あんまり好きになれません。風景は好きなんですけどね。スクリーンショットが撮りたくてわざわざ数年ぶりに2周目をクリアしたくらいです。一通り撮りながらクリアした後にフォトモードの存在に気が付いてかなり悲しくなりました。

Perfect example for why there should be a mixed/neutral button for reviews because I can totally see why this appeals to this small niche of masochist gamers, it checks all the right boxes with the games framework, but at least gameplay wise this was torture. The atmosphere and environment was top notch, loves the various areas you got to explore in this game, issue comes with some of the inhabitants of those areas and how they really badly want to make your time a living hell as they realise what kind of game they're in. Which from I experienced is a hardcore "permadeath" survival horror with no direction full of cryptic story and puzzles and scary enemies and put together to the level this game takes it is almost too much. I really had to lock in to one tap my first and second playthrough as I realised the game wont save your data when quitting, and will take you back to a checkpoint almost nowhere near where you quit from. And I mean REALLY lock in cause man this games exploration will cause you harm with how it tells you almost nothing. Now just like there are people willing to sink hundreds of hours into Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress, there will be and are people willing to do that to this game and major props to them, they arent human anymore and I applaud their rapture from our mortal plane. Overall this is a great game to gawk at the areas you get put in, if you can put up with the massive wall that gets thrown at you every so often

Честно говоря, я не совсем понимаю почему эта игра выступает в жанре survival-horror, но видимо это тонкая отсылка к здешнему геймплею, после которого на некоторое время пропадет сон и аппетит.

Сюжета я здесь не обнаружил и нас со старта кинет в сюрреалистичный и недружелюбный мир. Это что-то вроде Чистилища и здесь нам и правда придется пострадать. Вся суть игры заключается в последовательном решении головоломок, которые позволят нам открывать различные области на карте мира. В каком-то смысле это метроидвания, где после одной открытой двери следует переместиться в другую область мира, чтобы узнать открылось ли там что-нибудь новое или нет. Все головоломки заточены на перенос источников энергии из одного места в другое, но и здесь не обошлось без нюансов. Сохранение будет происходить на контрольных точках и мы там будем частыми гостями, так как умирать здесь придется часто. Здешний мир населен недружелюбными сущностями в капюшонах, которые патрулируют свою территорию убивают с одного удара. При этом собранная энергия останется на месте нашей гибели, а если мы умрем еще раз, так и не незалутав свой труп, то и вовсе все потеряем. Прям как в старой доброй серии темных душ. Противники естественно не будут стоять и смотреть как мы лутаетмся, а значит круг смертей никогда не замкнется. Самое поганое в том, что энергия тут не респавнится, поэтому если мы будем часто умирать, то рискуем попасть в софтлок, из которого сможем выбраться только начав игру заново.

Хоть игра и обладает привлекательным визуалом и загадочным сюрреалистичным сеттингом, но геймплейная составляющая начисто убивает желание в это играть. Часами ловить софтлоки от частых смертей, водить хороводы с противниками, чтобы выманить их с патруля и конечно же собирать энергию в ладошку и ползать по локациям в поисках дальнейшего пути - навряд ли кому-то это покажется увлекательным зрелищем. При всей моей любви к красивым и загадочным местам, я не могу посоветовать эту игру кому-либо. Уж слишком мой игровой опыт был болезненным и трудным.

Mostly fantastic metroidvania /collectathon that features a permanently changing world even after dying, tons of exploration, and requires a lot of attention to detail to figure it all out. As deep as the Witness but with more action (if you can call running away action). Only downside is it can get very frustrating, but see my mild spoilers at the bottom to help with that without ruining the game. FYI the reviews that complain about punishing difficulty probably pre-date the version of the game with adjustable difficulty. This game is only as hard as you want it to be, and you can switch the difficulty up or down at any time.

I really enjoyed most of the 30 hours I put in, but about halfway thru it got too hard for me. Luckily the dev added an option to make the ghosts move slower, which returned the game to a fun level of frustration. Even so, I wish that there had been about twice as many checkpoints. Later parts of the game require a lot of trial and error and repeating paths too many times just to get to the interesting/challenging part.

There's just one single large world but with lots of interconnected paths that lead to fairly distinct areas with different puzzle mechanics. Exploring it all and learning the paths (so that you can run away from the enemies quickly) is what makes the game fun. The level design is fantastic, and also pretty to look at. If it weren't stressful it would be a great walking simulator (and you can turn off enemies if that's your vibe).

I do have some serious issues with how it ends though. Most of the game is very fair, but right at the end it stops being that way, and you may not even realize that it's become unfair until you rage quit. So spoilers follow, which I strongly wish I had known.

First: Energy is a important commodity. Don't harvest it unless you have a need for it. There's plenty to go around but if you mindlessly collect it you'll need to go on some very long trips by the end of the game to get enough. For that reason I recommend turning off permadeath from the start.

Second: when you climb the stairs after gaining the 5th finger the "final" puzzle requires extremely tight timing. I banged my head against it for several hours thinking I could perfect a path, but in retrospect it was time to turn off enemies and just finish the game.

Third: the beach gate can be opened with no special ability, just bring 1 or more fingers of light energy with you. Otherwise, the fountain puzzle ONLY leads to the black fountain.

Finally, I realize good game stories are hard to write, but I found the game ending(s) to be kind of lame. I play the game for the gameplay, not the story, but after all that work a little clarity about what was happening would have been nice. Check the wiki if you want it spelled out, I guess.

Conclusion: great game, totally worth the price. I will remember it for a long time, though I will regret the last 2-3 hours of extreme frustration trying to finish it. Hey Carlos, you need better playtesters (hint, hint).

I can't remember why I got this game or what made me want to get it. It was on sale that's all I remember. A year later I look through my library and decide to give it a go. While playing it I was shocked to see the mixed reviews. I absolutely recommend to get this game when it's on sale. I think the mixed reviews and the lack of achievements globally unlocked says about how people give up so early in game, which I'm not sure why. Could be that it's a difficult game which it's intended to be.

I'm very surprised about how hooked I got, for 1,5 weeks all I did was play this game or at least think about it. An indie game made by just one person or a small team is incredibly impressive. Graphics are nice and the scenery is beautiful, some things like the sound effects can sound a bit cheap, but it grew on me quickly. Story is intriguing if only the logs were placed in easier, not miss-able spots.

Game play was to begin with challenging. There's no sense of direction and you feel lost and have no idea what to do or where to go, which is the fun part. It makes you want to explore and find out what certain paths will lead you to. The enemies are straightforward after you play for a while and you learn their patterns. Every corner scared me and I had a few heart attacks and jump scares. It's eerie, intense, mysterious, and a very unique game.

It took a few hours to beat the game but to be honest, the ending challenge was difficult for me to beat I just wanted to get it over with and used the glitch ._. (sorry, I'm not good). And the New game+ is WAY too difficult and challenging, so I kinda just skipped to heaven and did the glitch again... If I had the patience and motivation I'm sure I could beat it properly, but I'd probably end up drained.

Overall, what a shame that it's not popular and doesn't have the recognition it deserves. It's a great game.

A unique FPS puzzler with a very interesting story. One of my favorites! This game is difficult and the puzzles aren't easy. That seems to be a big turn off for alot of reviewers, but there is nothing rewarding about solving easy puzzles. Expect to die alot and learn from it.

Pacman, meets Amnesia or Myst with some souls-like mechanics....

In theory I would fall in love with this game but sadly it's not the case.

The reason:

The biggest problem with this game is it's just not rewarding enough to keep going. I feel like the developer is a sucker for brutal punishment. It has elements that are Souls-like but the biggest difference is Miyazaki knows how to keep you going, and he makes sure he's taught you enough about the world before pushing you off into the bigger part of the world. But this game is like frickin jazz, and not in a good way, first minute of the song is comprehensible enough and then it just goes into too many directions at once way too early. Couple that with very little reward and the game is just not worth the agony.

If you do buy, buy on sale.

I wish dev best of luck because I know if they take criticism properly their next game will be a masterpiece.

I don't write a lot of reviews, so this really means something for me. You can also ignore my game time, as this is a game I bought on the Nintendo Switch back when it first came out, beat it, and liked it so much that I just recently bought it here.

This is a fantastic game with a great atmosphere. Very little is explained and I think that's a core strength of the game. It gives you enough room to explore and figure out how it works. I don't think there are a lot of games nowadays where I've had the freedom to discover their world naturally, and I think this game does a great job of doing that.

I just want to say that this game is not for weak hearts.

This game is a adventure, stealth kind of game with a horror theme.
You are this person that have abilities to teleport using your finger and trying to avoid these cloaked enemies that chases you if you get too close to them.
You start with one finger and trying to collect the ability of all 9 other fingers.

The graphics of this game I've give a 5 out of 5, they are beautiful from the lava stream, to the dark creepy caves, and even though the graphics is extremely nice it doesn't affect the over all lag factor.

The game-play in this game is OK, I wish there was more of a story or at least a background story to this game, the fact that you have to collect the orbs to regenerate power to your finger to use it for opening certain force-fields confused me at first, I thought at first that you spouse to collect all the orbs but in reality you only need to collect them when your low or out of magical power. The red lines on the ground that the cloaks can not cross is kind of smart of the developers though game-play wise.

There is a great scare factor in this game, I was afraid at one point to go around corners thinking that one of those cloak enemies would be around the corner.

The replay value is OK, once you complete the main game and the additional harden game of New Game+, it becomes kind of boring and predictable.

Overall I would recommend this game to anyone that like to get their butt scared off.

So far, I think Infernium is really cool. It's weird, creepy and challenging and the mechanics are quite unique. I think if I could change one thing, I would make respawning faster and have it happen closer to where you died.
It's very interesting that when you die, you go to a new stage but it also feels like it really breaks up the flow of the gameplay at times. The problem with dying so quickly is that having to trek for such a long time can feel like getting stuck on a loading screen.
That being said, the game is really intriguing and feels quite dreamlike.

Infernium is a brilliant, gorgeous game. Its beautiful map layout and unique levels make for an epic experience. However, this isn't a game for the wimps wanting a fast and easy play-through; the puzzles in Infernium are very difficult (but not impossible when you keep to it). The tense atmosphere will keep you on your toes, and its spooks, even if you think you know what will happen, never cease to make you want to soil your drawers.

This is one of the more unique experiences I've had in a game, in quite a while. The combination of beautiful worldbuilding, a very surreal and interesting set of game mechanics, a fairly compelling story and a nice balanced challenge made this one of my favorites I've played in a long time. It keeps you on your toes and the enemies keep the pressure on the player, forcing you to make snap decisions that could save you or kill you, forcing you back to the checkpoints.

All of this was great; it made me feel smart when I found the sequence I needed to do, it rarely made me truly frustrated that I didn't know what the hell to do, it was always a "I screwed up", not a "this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥".

That was true until the ending sequence. In which you basically have zero margin for error, and it's incredibly difficult. That single sequence did change this game from being a solid 9.5/10 to around a 7.5, maybe an 8 if I include the developers mod that slows enemies down; which I had to use to beat the game.

All that being said? Support this developer. Get the game, on sale or not; it's an incredibly fun experience, there's a really strange and surreal world in Infernium. The enemies have a unique design, there's a good amount of variety to them and how they interact with the player, and it's just a lot of fun to play. I had a real blast playing this and I think most people who like puzzles or a decent amount of challenge will get behind this.

Инферниум-загадочное место за гранью реальности, хоррор-бродилка на выживание, завораживающие пейзажи и их обилие, гнетущая атмосфера, интуитивное управление(основы разжуют сразу), но всё остальное, касаемо прохождения придётся исследовать, пробовать, догадываться самому, поведение "странников", их виды, несложные загадки размером с комнату или целую локацию, рычаги и двери, коридоры и лифты, прокачка рук и способностей до которых ещё нужно добраться, ВСЁ САМ (для ограниченных и ленивых гайды/интернет в помощь).....
Здесь либо стоишь на месте и любуешься фантастическим окружением, либо двигаешься вперёд находясь постоянно на измене(хотя есть режим без монстров, но скрипт порой удивляет и некоторые появляются ещё более неожиданно, вопреки запрету) способов пасть в небытие много, тёмный фонтан всегда ждёт, а попробуй добраться до светлого
Колллекционные карточки и немного достижений в наличии, русская локализация хорошая, но не полная

Шикарная игра, одна из лучших, в которые доводилось играть за последнее время. И не верьте преимущественно отрицательным отзывам. Причина столь большого их количества очень проста и заключается в очень неудачной рекламе проекта самим разработчиком. Игра позиционирует себя, как "хоррор", "сурвайвал хоррор" и даже "хоррор-версия пак-мана" (ЧТО??!). На самом деле игра не является как таковым хоррором, и авторы большинства разгромных рецензий ясно пишут, что ждали от игры что-то типа аутласт или там амнезии (глянуть скрины и трейлеры перед покупкой - для лохов), а увидев нечто совсем другое очень обиделись и влепили игре "палец вниз"

Это не единственная проблема. Разработчик на форуме и в самой игре пугает игроков пермасмертью, которой в игре на самом деле нет (!!), также разработчик очень скупо объясняет игроку, что именно он должен делать в игре, не сразу становится понятно, куда идти и как выживать, а такой подход нравится далеко не всем.

Что же такое на самом деле Инферниум? Это очень интересный и странный гибрид метроидвании, паззла, хоррора и симулятора ходьбы. Игроку предстоит исследовать огромный открытый мир, состоящий из полутора десятков локаций. Исследовать их можно в самом разном порядке, игра нелинейная, а каждая локация представляет собой более или менее мудреный лабиринт с кучей шорткатов, тайников ну и так далее. Путешествуя по миру можно найти новые способности, позволяющие открывать новые проходы и попадать в ранее недоступные места.

В Инферниуме много врагов, большинство из них неубиваемые, и от них можно только убегать. При этом свойственных обычным хоррорам пряток в шкафу или просто убегания как можно дальше тут не будет. В большинстве случаев необходимо бегая от врагов или нажать в определенной последовательности рычаги, или решить небольшой паззл на запоминание, после чего появится возможность попасть в безопасную зону и выдохнуть. Наиболее сложные встречи с врагами сами по себе напоминают паззлы - от игрока требуется изучить местность, тщательно продумать свои движения и потом безошибочно их исполнить.

Об этом писали в других рецензиях, но повторюсь - игра невероятно красивая, при этом каждая локация оформлена в своем стиле и если не все, то очень многие из них очень запоминаются, особенно меня впечатлил уровень с огромным водопадом, падающим прямо с небес в лавовую реку, и уровень в раю с летящими по небу лепестками роз. Для игры, сделанной соло-разработчиком это сильнейшая работа (если это конечно не готовые ассеты, в чем я если честно сомневаюсь), причем игра ещё и хорошо оптимизирована и не лагает.

Безусловно Инферниум - игра не для всех. Она странная. Она сочетает в себе сразу много разных жанров. Она сложная. Она довольно медлительная. Но это очень сильная и экспериментальная работа, в которую вложено очень много сил и креатива. Печально, что необычность игры помноженная на очень неудачную рекламу самим разработчиком сыграли злую шутку - игра прошла почти незамеченной и имеет лишь чуть больше половины хороших рецензий.

Однозначно рекомендую игру всем, кому нравятся интересные, необычные и красивые игры.

[h1]INSPIRED LEVEL DESIGN WITH INTERCONNECTED WORLDS[/h1]

[i]Infernium[/i] is a game that I have discovered by chance, while surfing the internet. The demo convinced me to purchase this title developed by Carlos Coronado. It is a survival/puzzle game. Enigmas are intuitive and easy to solve. I personally do not like over complicated brain teasers, as they make me frustrated, therefore under this department this piece of art is just perfect for me.

There are different kinds of enemies that need to be approached in different ways, giving more variety to the gameplay. The character that we play, will gain different powers along the adventure, helping us to proceed. There are 17 different worlds and you can visit them in the order that you prefer. The developer never forces you to take a fixed path, therefore you have a lot of freedom. I was actually surprised about how seamlessly connected these levels are. I have enjoyed the ethereal look of various landscapes and I was immersed in this big and strange fantasy world. At the very beginning a short tutorial explains the basics of the gameplay, but you need to figure out the rest, including strategies to avoid enemies and how to open certain paths in order to have safe passages in case of death. I enjoyed this mechanic, because it made the game more challenging and rewarding. The sound design is good, one of my favourite locations is for sure the floating castle. The developer nailed the dreamy and surreal mood with choirs that you can hear on the first phase of the level, not to mention the noise of the lava in Crimson river or the desolating wind in the desert level.

[h1]PERMADEATH SYSTEM AND ARENAS[/h1]

By default [i]Infernium[/i] has a permadeath system: once you die for more than 25 times, it is game over. Thankfully, you can disable this option, but I personally did not like this element at all. All the arenas that involve cloaks are more trial and error, and do not really involve much skills to beat, more luck and patience honestly. I do not think that putting this element was very fair. There are some areas that are truly challenging, but in the end beatable, while others are too complicated. The developer gave the possibility to disable enemies. However, I think that Coronado should have balanced things better here.
The game also has a story that you can read on notes that you will find scattered along different levels. I had to go to the official wiki to understand what the plot was about. I would have handled it differently, maybe with some narration or by placing notes in a more organized order. If you are interested in deepening the lore, I suggest just visiting the official website. It will clarify the context.

[h1]FINAL VERDICT[/h1]

This title is not for everyone, a lot of people can just consider [i]Infernium[/i] another weird and senseless indie game. I personally enjoyed it and considering that it was developed for the most part by only one guy, I have nothing but praise for the result achieved. For sure there is a lot of creativity behind it. More people should play it and I am sorry that this title will probably remain within a certain niche of people. I recommend the purchase, and support this minor developer, help him to grow, so he can make more games for us all.

Beautiful and original game which really draws you in. Honestly some of the worlds you come across just put a big grin on my face. The upside-down castle, the endless waterfall, all so imaginative and atmospheric.

The death mechanic is very unique and love how you can buy back lives if you want. Don't sweat it if you keep dying as this can lead to an alternative ending. And even after this you can claw your way back to the living again.

I've only seen a few enemies on my play-through so far. They can be a bit frustrating, but when you carefully think about each situation, they can be evaded quite easily, and sometimes entirely avoided as you can open up short-cuts as you progress.

There is a background story there, which can be skipped if that's not your thing.

I can understand this game might not be for everyone. It can be a bit slow-paced, but after a long days work, this is just what I need.

I've just completed one of Carlos' other games - Horror Tales: The Wine. Another wonderful world to explore if you enjoy this one. I've also wishlisted his upcoming games and can't wait to see what's next.

The game is awesome. Is hard and annoying at first, but once you get the hang of it and learn the ropes and logic , you will love it. It is love and hate - your brain will love it , but your emotion , sometimes will hate it. Do not get frustrated about limited lives - there are none - you can recharge the pool even after the purgatory door is open. 100% i recomand this game.

Although the graphics look great as well as the performance while moving around in the evironments is perfect, also the sounds are suitable too (chase scene music sounds very familiar to me;-) the gameplay is too hard for me, because of these stupid "checkpoints". After you got caught (in the act) you will always wake up in the same empty area in order to change to the place you just were beginning the section, so you'll have to repeat the last minutes. That's not relaxing for me. Sorry. You cant't do even some changes in the menu without leaving the running gameplay. The steam sale price is a gift by the way.

I wanted to like this game, but I cannot recommend Infernium.

The interconnected metroidvania level design is exceptional, several clever shortcuts throughout each section, it begs to be explored and even revisited to open every locked door, gated area, etc. even if the reward is minimal or non existent. Honestly it's amongst the best of it's style in a first person setting that I've played. Other positives are the atmosphere and occasional drone audio tracks which gives a good mood of somber isolation.

But...

Everything about your character is slow and clunky, you move slow, you interact with every object slow and worst of all the teleport ability takes too long to charge meaning using it is slow, you move at a snails pace as it charges, it has limited reach must be pointed at the ground or angled geometry facing you, lots of times it feels like your aiming at a group of three pixels that will let it work as it randomly spazzes between red and yellow especially noticeable in crimson river level, it is unreliable, broken and awful to use when under pressure.

There are too many gotcha moments and unavoidable death's some wrong turns are just death with no chance of recovery, that's not hard gameplay just unfair. It uses a bonfire system like dark souls that are placed far apart but dark souls is an action game meaning you can go through failures with different styles and get better more skilled regardless of the mobs, here you just have to do the exact same thing over and over again most times there's one way of progressing and one way only, one solution to a chase puzzle and one solution only, get used to boring needless repetition.

The timed puzzles/sections later in the game are just terrible, holding a switch for 5-10 seconds to loop around and miss an opening by a pixel again with the stupid teleport whilst being chased by multiple enemies is pure tedium, the timings in this game are at times mean and stingy considering how clunky the mechanics are.

Finally the end sequence is beyond awful, all of the glaring problems of this game are multiplied ten fold in a sequence so badly designed it genuinely baffles me.

It is a shame because in the right hands this could have been a great game with the same level design and quicker fluid gameplay / reliable faster charge teleport, a limited sprint system, anything to make it feel less slow/clunky and tedious.

Infernium es un juego en primera persona de exploración, puzzles y terror. Lo que destaca de este juego son sus bonitos escenarios fantásticos y surrealistas que dan gusto observar. También, de su mecánica sencilla, pero original. Voy a mencionar varios puntos:

[spoiler] Se basa en un grupo de amigos que les fascina bucear. Un día, deciden explorar una cueva subacuática inexplorada en la que encuentran un secreto que les cambiará la vida: Infernium, una especie de infierno en el que Marina (nuestra protagonista) se ve involucrada en descubrir los secretos y el por qué de la existencia de este lugar. Deben decidir si contarles a la sociedad el descubrimiento que habían hecho: un portal al infierno. [/spoiler]

La historia la conoceremos mediante unos textos que están escritos por todo Infernium. Si quieres conocer toda la historia tendrás que explorar todos los rincones y encontrar todos los textos.

[h1] Exploración: [/h1]

La exploración es algo que debemos tener en cuenta y es que no es fácil completar este videojuego si no tenemos un buen sentido de la orientación, por que deberemos crearnos un mapa mental para volver a algunas zonas (esto pasa continuamente) en las que anteriormente no teníamos las habilidades necesarias para acceder a ellas. En ningún momento nos vamos a sentir guiados y solo sabremos el verdadero camino a base de explorar y observar. Algo que me ha gustado mucho personalmente, por que soy un jugador que le encanta ver cada rincón y descubrirlo todo.

[h1] Puzzles: [/h1]

Los puzzles son los típicos de abrir puertas con palancas, puertas que solo se abrirán con ciertas habilidades, laberintos, caminos secretos y memoria.

[h1] Terror: [/h1]
Esta es la verdadera dificultad del juego, diferentes enemigos que nos perseguirán si nos ven. Si nos tocan, estamos muertos. Infernium consigue que sientas una tensión en el cuerpo que no se te va a quitar hasta que no despistes a tus perseguidores. Ellos nos dificultarán resolver los puzzles y deberás ser rápido para escapar de ellos.

[h1] Mecánica: [/h1]

La mecánica es simple, resolver puzzles para seguir por tu camino sin que se te acaben todas las oportunidades de vida, es decir, este juego tiene un sistema de muerte permanente; si un enemigo nos mata, iremos a una especie de Limbo donde podremos volver a resurgir mediante una fuente que nos llevará a nuestro último checkpoint.
En este Limbo existen unas esferas de energía que representan todas nuestras vidas disponibles, cada vez que morimos, una se apagará. Si se apagan todas, el juego se acabará. Pero estas esferas se pueden recargar mediante nuestra habilidad recolectora, en la que podremos absorber esferas que están repartidas por todos los niveles y depositar la energía en pozos especiales para recargar las esferas de vida.

Nuestro personaje tiene varias habilidades, las principales son el teletransporte y la recolección de energía de esferas, que se almacenarán en nuestros dedos para poder abrir puertas y recuperar vidas perdidas. También hay más habilidades, pero no quiero hacerte spoiler.

[h1] Música y sonido: [/h1]

El sonido no le veo pegas, salvo algún sonido que se corta sin reverberación o alguno que no pega con el escenario. Pero en general me ha gustado por que es muy immersivo y se disfruta con auriculares.

De música, literalmente, solo existe una pieza que se reproduce en unos sitios específicos del mapa, pero sinceramente, muy bien acertada, me gustó mucho.

Visualmente es precioso, y si eres de los que te encanta explorarlo todo, encontrar secretos, resolver puzzles con enemigos persiguiéndote y con una historia que tendrás que descubrir tu mism@, no te va a defraudar.

I don't really write bad reviews however, this game really just isn't that fun. It's very hard, doesn't hold your hand, also you can't jump. The last one just feels off in the fact you can't do it. Anyway if you do like Very hard games or feel like watching a walk through for this than get the game other than that it really doesn't feel worth it.

Просто скучнейшее и нуднейшее нечто, это даже игрой-то в привычном понимании этого слова назвать нельзя. Весь геймплей состоит в том, что вы, прячась от всевидящих и всеслышащих летающих ковриков (которые делают из вас котлету с 1 удара), собираете светящиеся шарики, чтобы достичь хоть какого-то сюжета. Да, это всё, в этой игре больше ничего нет, ну кроме однообразной скучной музыки и неплохой графики, ну и коврики весьма красиво летают.
От меня этому чуду геймдева 3/10 за графоний)
P. S. Забыл сказать, тут ещё и количество жизней ограничено)))

Really good game, I would define it like a metroidvania but in first person mixed with a survival horror.

It has a really good level design and simple teleport mechanics that are very well appraised. The game made me feel uncomfortable and paranoia, a really cool contrast with the environments that didn't seem that scary, those are more like beautiful and surrealist. I really recommend to try the free demo to know what is the game about and also recommend to not judge it too fast, it is a bit slow paced and it takes its time to start the real game (The first our is like a no-text tutorial). Also really satisfying when achieve a new ability, or solve a puzzle, or when you get to a new area.

You can feel some deaths a bit frustrating at some areas, but not a big deal, all the puzzles can be solved and there isn't trying and error puzzles or enemies, you just have to pay attention.

I definitely recommend the game. Also, I want to clarify that I bought the game on sale, I think that maybe 22.99€ it is a bit too much, but I think that's around 15€ is worth it for this game.

Don't get me wrong, Infernium has a lot of cool features, such as a complex level design and ethereal soundscape, that can produce a lot of beautiful macabre moments. However, it took me a lot of effort to enjoy the game, even to enjoy those little moments, since I was always pissed off with the gameplay. Sometimes the game is too hard, sometimes confusing (almost no tutorials), but most of the time it's just boring. Eventually I just felt trapped and bored, making the same path over and over, since the checkpoints are [i] very [/i] far from each other. Maybe that's what the devs wanted you to feel, right? Trapped in hell? Well, I didn't like it (if you like how this sounds, go ahead and buy it – you'll probably enjoy it).

See, I don't mind dying and having to do it all over again. That's fine. But the absence of exit save is a pain in the ass, since the game will restart on the last abysmally distant checkpoint. So you're tired, and you wanna stop playing for today, but if you quit now you'll have to do it all over again tomorrow – so you keep playing, looking for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ firepit. For an hour. Maybe two hours. Or until you die because the lack of sleep is making you dumb (again, if you enjoy punishment, go ahead).

Anyway, there are also rewarding moments in Infernium, of course: like when you finally get to your destination, so you can now finally sleep. And there are some thrilling moments too, when you think "no no no no no, if this ghost kills me now I'll have to do it all over again tomorrow and the last two hours of gameplay will be lost". In the end, it all revolves around this feeling of clausure and repetition. The bottom line is that Infernium was a very intense experience, regardless of me liking it or not. Definitely memorable. It managed to be boring and thrilling at the same time. If I could rate it "mixed", I would.

Infernium is the Dark Souls of Pac-Man.

Reviews are currently overall 'mixed' as I write this, and honestly I'm not surprised. Infernium is weird, obtuse, and punishing. But if you stick it out, you'll be rewarded with one of the most unique and satisfying puzzle adventure games of the generation.

Me sorprendió saber que una persona haya hecho la mayoría del trabajo. La estética surrealista es muy bonita, y el diseño de niveles (bien maze) repleto de secretos y atajos.

El juego al principio parece extraño, pero luego del periodo de adaptación auditiva y nivel de estrés que genera, se transforma en concentración constante para superar los desafíos. Utilizar la lógica e ingenio en medio de un mapa lleno de enemigos (que la mayoría no se pueden matar). Un juego que obliga a pensar antes de actuar (y muchas veces, improvisar).

Tato hra je svou hratelností zajímavá. Nic podobného jsem předtím nehrál. Po celou dobu hraní mě bavila. Někdo by řekl, že hra nemá příběh, ale nějaký příběh v tom je....Co se týče grafiky ta je skvěla a úplně Vás vtáhne. A pokud hru dokončíte tak ji budete chtít určitě hrát ještě jednou, ale na těžší obtížnost a to je teprve mazec. Bez znalosti mapy nemáte šanci na splnění.... Hru všem doporučuji, je bez bugu a dobře odladěná.

I'm recommending this game because it effectively is exactly what it advertises itself to be. The free demo tells you exactly what you need to know about this game, so if you don't like it, don't buy it. If you do buy it then, I don't see what you could be disappointed about

I am exactly NOT the type of person that should be playing a game like this. The store page itself admits the game is brutal and unforgiving, and I don't have the reaction time or dexterity needed to succeed in a game like this PERIOD. However, thanks to the accessibility modes, I'm able to explore the game world and see what it is all about. I don't then understand why people are doing what I'm doing -- turning off all the enemies, disabling permadeath, etc. -- and then complaining that the game is boring. Uh, yeah? Remove all the main gameplay components from a game and what do you really expect?

I've only played for a couple hours, but the experience so far has been thrilling. Definitely worth a sale price, where you get so much more than a simple walking simulator (if you play like me). The sense of unease in the atmosphere is very well crafted, and even without enemies I still feel on edge. I wish there was an easier way to read the messages written in-game (a bigger pain to read from my couch since there aren't controls to zoom or crouch), but [i]Infernium[/i] is still worth recommending.

I really like soulslike games and this game looked quite cool and unique and I thought it could offer a new take on genre. Dark Souls Pacman was entertaining at first, but it ended up as an unrewarding, tedious experience, where skill plays no role.

Initially, I enjoyed the look and feel of the game. The mechanics were solid, the enemies challenging and the presentation was beautiful. The enemy encounters were basically puzzles and the level design was really great. Yet, after a few hours, it felt like I've seen everything the game has to offer gameplay wise. The invisible enemies were introduced at this stage, and playing around these guys was the opposite of fun. There was zero challenge here, it was just tedious to run around avoiding enemies you can't even see. Dying against them didn't feel like I messed up something.

Ultimately what killed the game for was the realization that the game's main puzzle mechanic, was nothing more than counting, and that got old really fast. Even passing the invisible enemy area the same puzzle design was present, and that's when I stopped, because it was not interesting or challenging or exciting to solve these. The rewards weren't that great and skill played zero role in the encounters. It was mostly luck.

It's a shame really, because I really liked the concept of the game, visually it really looks strange and beautiful at the same time. I even liked the enemy designs. The juxtaposition of the elegant and the horrific creates such an unlikely game world. Interestingly, this is what Dark Souls did as well. Unfortunately, Infernium comes in short. The game mechanics are just not interesting and varied enough. I also don't like the fact that our death totem could end up in locations where retrieving them is impossible. Same with the slow elevators and boring puzzles that didn't have creative solutions. You can only play Infernium one way. If you try something else, you will die.

Infernium is a game that's hard but not challenging. That should some it up.

Like a surreal painting, atmospheric and otherworldly. The layout of this world is enticing and captivating in an organic, natural sense. This experience - the story and exploration is well contained in the mystery and simplicity of the controls, no jump, no sprint- there are "other" methods.

Gaining a new ability or opening a shortcut plus using that ability does not seem coerced at all, possibly because there are so few and the greatest moments are realizations that find yourself somewhere familiar a sense of awe and wonder actually solidifies the progression. This is as fine an element of design and the perfect place for it although lucky to find it in such an independent and niche game.

The story, like a creepy pasta, that us the player has the choice to locate journal entries written on walls/floors in sporadic locations makes a connection between this and the real world, minimalistic in it's approach and is or for the most part satisfied at the climax in true ghost story fashion.

With enemies enabled (by default) the difficulty is nightmarish, seriously heart jumping. I went through it and had a great time without enemies and the game holds it's own through virtue of exploration. To do so with enemies requires the timing of enemy movements with multiple retry.

The visuals will leave a lasting impression as the intense horror begs to be forgotten. In truth a game like this just makes my games library a deeper and more rich place and probably makes me a better gamer too although makes it much more difficult to write the review for it because the fact is, it is really done well without seemingly trying to be.

Вроде красивая, но играется просто отвратительно. Как будто назло очень долго всё делается, в том числе нажимаются рычаги. А чтобы открыть меню... надо выйти с уровня, а после изменения каких-то настроек опять начинать с начала уровня.
Короче, разрабы сделали всё, что бы отвратить от игры с первых же шагов.

The good stuff:

Lets start with the best thing this game has: the levels. The design of each of the levels in the game is simply amazing, they are visually stunning and they are the thing that I will remember the most about this game. The background music of the game is also pretty spot on, it goes very well with the levels and it is amazing listening to it while you enter a new level for the first time, it will hit you directly on the feelings. The game world is also amazing, it takes inspiration from the souls games in which everything is connected, and the way in which this game connects the different levels is unique, giving it its own identity. Finally, this game has different accessibility features that allow to remove or reduce the challenges that the game presents to you, this allows people with special needs to play the game as well.

The not so good stuff:

The main mechanic in the game is the use of a teleport to move around the environment, sadly, I think it is a bit clunky, sometimes its a bit hard to tell whether or not you can teleport and you will find yourself in many situations in which by a mere couple of centimetres you cant teleport, something that will get you killed. Which in the end, is really annoying. There is basically just one kind of puzzle that you will find three or four times across the game, more variety would have been great.

The bad stuff:

Lets start with the worst thing in this game: there is no tutorial. Once you start the game, you have no idea where are you, why you are there, why you are surrounded by orange lights or what is the purpose of the most important elements of the environment. This terrible design decision has literally crippled this game, you do not have to believe me, the number of people that got the first achievement you can get is a 35% and the number of people that got the second one is less than 10%, most people stopped playing this game nearly at the start, and I cannot really blame them, the first time I played this game I dropped it for like 10 months after playing an hour, and decided to retake it again a week ago. I had to look at the game's wiki to understand the purpose of the different elements of the environment and what I had to do to progress. This is simply terrible. Some elements of the environment are explained to you through notes written in walls or in the floor that also tell you the story, but there is also stuff that is never explained to you in the game itself.

Taking lots of inspiration from the souls games, this game has also implemented the worst thing that the souls games have. If you are familiar with them, you might know what I am talking about: the checkpoints. Some checkpoints are too far away from each other, meaning that if you die you will have to walk all the way there, which is boring as hell.

The exploration of this game is completely pointless most of the time, another bad design decision. The game does not encourages you to explore in any way, its mostly the other way around, exploring puts you at great risk for practically no reward of any kind. The only reason why someone might want to explore the different areas is to find the notes in relation to the story, however, taking into account that you will have to walk back all the way to the different areas, this also becomes a boring and a tedious task. At the beginning I was really into finding all the texts, but after a while, I just decided to read the plot from the game's fan wiki. I think I would have bothered to search for all the notes if traversing through the environment could be achieved in a faster way and if some kind of achievement was involved in doing so, or in other words: a reward for finding all the notes.

Two of the items of the game are completely useless, you do not need them at all and even if you get them, you will not notice a big difference in the gameplay, another bad design decision. It could have been great if the time wasted in those two things was spent on working on more different kinds of puzzles.

A big chunk of the story is written in some sort of code in banners, I tried to look for some clue inside the game to decipher them but no idea. In the game's wiki it says that is old spanish, but after comparing some old spanish texts with the banners in the game, I doubt that is the case. It would have been great if instead of spending time in useless features, the developer would have made an item that would have allowed you to translate those texts.

Twitch integration, for some reason this game has a twitch feature that allows people from the chat to spawn you rewards or enemies. I do not know why the developer thought this was a good design decision, instead of maybe, well, implementing features for most of your player base.

Should you play it:

Very very sadly to say this but, what could have been an amazing game with stunning environments, a well built game world and a relatively good story, has turned out to be a mediocre game simply because of terrible design decisions and a boring gameplay. It seems that the developer did not have completely clear what the audience of this game was going to be or how big it was going to big. I cannot really recommend this game, despite the amazing environments that this game offers, I think it is not worth playing it.

Ce jeu n'a aucun sens. 10 heures passées dessus à réfléchir où il souhaite en venir, sans succès. Je suis définitivement coincée dans la seconde partie du premier monde, celui avec les escaliers qui montent dans le ciel. J'ai eu beau lire toutes les cartes laissées à l'attention du joueur sur le terrain, elles restent néanmoins illisibles, et donc inutiles. Ne parlons pas de la rigidité du gameplay couplée à la lenteur infinie du personnage que l'on joue et de l'incroyable vitesse à laquelle se déplace les ennemis (si rapides que l'on meurt avant d'avoir compris que nous sommes poursuivis). Je ne parviens pas à saisir le sens et l'utilité du monde dans lequel on se retrouve lorsque l'on meurt non plus. Lorsque je descends au sous-sol de ce monde, il se retrouve parfois inchangé lorsque je remonte à sa surface, tandis que d'autres fois, de manière totalement absurde et encore une fois inexpliquée, il arrive qu'il soit remplacé par un monde de glace dans lequel il n'y a rien à faire une fois que vous avez amassé toutes les boules lumineuses qui ne vous permettent même pas d'ouvrir le mystérieux puis duquel s'élève des chants. Ca me frustre. Profondément. Et le pire dans tout ça c'est que vous n'avez aucun moyen de revenir au jeu normal ! Tout comme lorsque la grande porte de ce monde s'ouvre. Un magnifique chemin sinueux d'allure onirique s'ouvre à vous (le jeu est magnifique visuellement parlant malheureusement c'est le seul point positif que j'en retiens), mais une fois arrivé au bout, vous n'aurez pas d'autre choix que de tomber dans une cascade d'eau noire dans laquelle vous vous noierez. Ensuite s'affichent les crédits du jeu et une fois terminés... vous n'aurez jamais plus accès au puis qui vous permet normalement de visiter les autres mondes du jeu. Non, vous serez obligés de passer par cette cascade inutile pour y mourir, encore et encore. Suite à cela, j'ai dû plusieurs fois relancer une nouvelle partie, et tout recommencer.
A noter que le bestiaire est également très pauvre. Les paysages sont certes beaux, mais rapidement répétitifs, ce qui rend le jeu à la longue très ennuyeux.
Je suis rassurée de ne l'avoir acheté que 3 euros lorsqu'il était en promo.
En bref, passez votre chemin. Ce jeu ne vaut certainement pas une vingtaine d'euros, prix auquel il est actuellement affiché.

Malheureusement je n'arrive pas à trouver assez de plaisir dans ce jeu pour continuer l'aventure.
Alors oubliez toute rapport avec Dark Souls à part un level design de qualité et que vous allez mourir.
Pas de combat pour le moment, vous devez fuir, si l'ennemi vous touche, c'est direction le dernier checkpoint.
J'ai tellement l'impression que le jeu a été conçu pour la VR et que l'auteur a développé une maj pour les pauvres qui n'ont pas les moyens de se payer un casque VR.
La traduction française est à jeter par la fenêtre, par contre le support des mods est présent et visiblement il y a de nombreux tutoriels pour en faire.

J'ai essayé le patch sans monstres des développeurs, sans encore plus emmerdant. C'est juste un walking (dead) simulator encore plus chiant avec des contrôles cassés.

Infernium du fameux créateur Carlos Coronado est un jeu très court, je vous l'assure, une dizaine d'heures en moyenne (peut être terminé en une heure, mais pas à 100%) et est sur le papier un jeu mêlant l'horrifique et la survie dans un monde beau, mais infernal. Petite nouveauté très intéressante, Infernium se passe en enfer (ouais, on ne dirait pas comme ça^^), le danger et le sentiment d'abandon sont partout et tout est là pour vous tuer, mais peut-on malgré tout s'échapper de cette geôle sans barreaux?

[u][b]L'enfer, c'est quand tout sera parfait?[/b][/u]
Histoire d'un combat insurmontable, histoire d'une mort maintes fois répété, ce jeu n'est pour moi ni un jeu de survie, ni un jeu d'horreur, car il est beaucoup plus que ça, ce jeu est un simulateur de marche à énigme prônant que le bonheur d'un voyage n'est pas son but, mais est le voyage en lui-même. Oui votre personnage est en enfer (j'avoue que j'ai une autre vision de l'enfer, mais pourquoi pas?), j'avoue aussi que les fins sont belles et à peu près correctement amenées, mais ce n'est que secondaire. Ce jeu est un voyage, acceptez le moment présent, acceptez le plaisir de réussir une énigme, acceptez le plaisir d'enfin ouvrir une porte et de sentir dans votre corps, un coeur qui bat, voilà l'histoire de ce jeu.

[u][b]Un combat infini contre la vitesse?[/b][/u]
Ce jeu à un gameplay très TRES lent, je vous préviens et pour beaucoup il sera une très mauvaise expérience (regardez juste la note et vous comprendrez), mais faites attention, sous la couche de pierres se cache un diamant qu'il vous faudra tailler après l'avoir extirpé de terre afin d'espérer voir ses multitudes de facettes briller aux couchers du soleil.

Votre personnage est lent et vulnérable à tout, vous allez donc mourir souvent, mais c'est normal après tout vous êtes en enfer et l'enfer n'a jamais été une promenade de santé. Nombreuses seront les portes qui vous resteront fermées et encore plus nombreux seront les monstres qui gardent le chemin et se sera à votre intellect de passer au travers pour espérer franchir la difficulté et atteindre le bout de ce voyage. Je ne le répéterai cependant jamais assez, votre personnage est excessivement lent et il ne faut pas oublier que les checkpoints sont très rares.

les erreurs se payent aux prix forts et les limbes seront rapidement familières, mais faites attention, la mort peut ne duré qu'un instant, mais elle se répète à l'infini, ainsi si vous pensez pouvoir mourir (comme un Dark Soul) autant de fois que vous le souhaitez et toujours continuez votre aventure, non, aux bouts de 25 morts, c'est fini, Game Over et vous êtes bon pour tous recommencer... sauf... sauf si vous utilisez vos capacités innées qui vous permettent contre de la lumière (qui se trouve en quantités limitées) de récupérer des chances supplémentaires, mais faites attention la lumière sert à beaucoup de choses dont ouvrir les portes qui vous permettent de progresser...

J'ai beaucoup de mal à comprendre pourquoi tout le monde peste contre les créatures gardiennes des enfers de ce jeu, car franchement elles ne sont pas insurmontables, quiconque ayant déjà joué à Outlast (et étant donc habitué à fuir sans combattre) n'aura que bien peu de difficultés à passer, après je dois reconnaitre que tomber sur une créature au coin d'un couloir peut être décourageant voire frustrant pour qui cherchait depuis une heure une sortie, mais... se fait partie du jeu, il faut savoir se dépasser et vaincre la difficulté, je n'ai que sa à dire. D'ailleurs je ne suis que très rarement mort à cause des monstres, mais à cause du vide, donc bon... ^^

Le jeu à un gros point positif je trouve au niveau de la rejouabilité, il possède plusieurs fins et de plus sont histoire et ses niveaux se présente à vous de manière non linéaire, allez à gauche et le chemin est tracé, allez à droite et peut-être tomberez vous sur une zone déjà traverser, mais qui désormais pourras vous permettre de monter encore plus haut.
Dernière chose que je dirais sur le gameplay, le créateur de cette oeuvre à sciemment choisis de garder un code basique ce qui fait que ce jeu est très facilement modable (ceci est clairement à porter à son crédit). Le workshop contient bon nombre de mod très facilement imbricable dans le jeu ou alors faites le votre, n'importe qui quasiment en est capable.

[u][b]Le hurlement des victimes vous ravit elle de bon matin?[/b][/u]
Non pas de sa ici, l'ambiance même du jeu est très sobre, en fait il n'y a quasiment aucun son ou musique durant tout le jeu, vous permettant de vous concentrer sur l'essentiel, votre voyage. Le seul son que vous entendrez sera la musique des monstres quand ils vous poursuivent et attention cette musique est hyper angoissante. Autant la mort est rapide et assez indolore pour vous, autant la musique vous fait grave flipper, c'est aussi simple que ça, la peur apparaît en une demi-seconde et ne vous lâche plus tant que vous n'avez pas réussis à vous échapper de ce monstre.
Donc c'est une ambiance qui c'est où et quand venir vous taper sur l'épaule alors prenez garde.

Ce jeu est très étrange, j'ai cru après l'avoir lancé que je m'étais trompé, car enfin... l'enfer ne peut pas être aussi beau que sa, ce n'est pas possible, l'enfer et un endroit empestant le souffre et la peur, la mort et les supplices y sont monnaie courante, il s'agit normalement d'un lieu où personne ne veut aller.
Ce jeu pourtant réussis l'exploit de faire les choses différemment, l'enfer devient certes beau, mais labyrinthique et attention tout comme une rose à ses épines, plus les lieux que vous visiterez seront beau plus le danger sera présent. La beauté de ses lieux enchanteurs omnibuleras votre vision et alors les gardiens de ce monde frapperont sans que vous ne puissiez rien y faire.

[u][b]Un petit mot des dévellopeurs?[/b][/u]
Je me dois de parler d'un petit message envoyé sur steam. Ce message disait tout simplement que tous ceux souhaitant tester le jeu, mais n'en ayant pas les moyens le trouveraient sans difficulté sur les torrents illégaux. Je trouve la chose assez rare, car le jeu vaut assez cher je trouve (25 euros), mais qu'il dit lui-même que l'on peut le trouver gratuitement, car ce qu'il veut, sais faire découvrir son univers particulier et en un sens enchanteur au monde. Alors un beau geste...

[u][b]Quel dommages d'enfin atteindre le bout du voyage.[/b][/u]
Ce mélange des genres ne rassemble donc pas de Survie et d'horreur, mais plutôt une pincée de puzzle, une poignée de Die and Retry et une louche d'aventure onirique cauchemardesque, comment donc ne pas être convaincu? Très franchement je ne peux que vous le conseillez.

Malheureusement je vois le bout du chemin, j'aimerais tellement faire demi-tour et profiter de nouveau des magnifiques lieux que je ne pensais pas pouvoir voir... mais me retourner et rebrousser chemin n'est pas envisageables, pour ne pas détruire mes souvenirs je me dois de continuer et d'atteindre la fin du voyage où enfin je pourrais me reposer.
Bonne chance, mais ne regrettez rien, ce jeu vous plaira si tant est qu'une forme de voyage initiatique vous plaises alors il ne me reste plus qu'à vous remercier de m'avoir lu en partie ou jusqu'aux bouts et bien sûr à continuer cette route, car tout chemin atteint un jour sa fin.

I really really [i]REALLY[/i] wanted to like this game. It has everything I want in a game and people who know me knows I rarely make a negative review to any type of game.

Well made enviroment, puzzles, nice looking enemies.. But I just can't enjoy it. I'm not sure if it is the open world being [i]too open[/i] that it leaves me bored most of the time, mostly because the world is filled with 95% air, even if I progress to new areas. Reading notes on the wall doesn't keep the game alive, you just walk around in silence. Maybe it would have been better to have the story being told vocally?

Second try I removed the enemies thinking maybe it would be easier to play the game without them.
But like other beautiful puzzle, walking simulator games, they have a more clear and intriguing story, nice soundtrack and events that keeps happening as you progress.
I will try and pressure myself through this in the future but now I need a long brake.

Maybe this game is for Dark Souls nerds who enjoys being punished. If so this game is clearly for you.

This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that calls itself a game gives me the same experience I had when I heard my mother having sex in the room next to me. 'wtf is going on' and 'how do I end this as fast as possible'. Nothing makes me want to continue this in the first minutes. No narrative, nothing that makes me curious, or anything that just gives me an experience in the first place. The pace is way to slow for me to enjoy it, and i honestly feel scammed

Das Spiel macht einfach keinen Spaß...
Ich meine, es wäre deutlich besser gewesen, wenn da nicht diese nervigen Geister wären.
Es Kotzt nach kurzer Zeit total an. Oft weiß man nicht wohin man gehen, oder was man tun soll.
Man muss zwischen vielen möglichen Wegen selber den besten aussuchen. Warum hat man es nicht so gemacht, dass nur ein Weg möglich wäre und dem man einfach folgen sollte.
Also echt, Steams schlechtestes Spiel des Jahres könnte es locker werden.

Very interesting and hard game, I love the fact that everything in this game connects with even more things, haven't finished it yet but I feel like it's one of those games where you have to play them twice or more times because there is always something you miss, and it makes the game even more alert and everything make even more sense. The graphics are VERY well done and the gameplay and mechanics are smooth.

正常玩的时候介绍里只有一句话是对的， “一种令人焦虑的焦虑诱发体验”，基本上就是被追，貌似后期可以还击，反正我是受不了只能挨打的日子，而且这配音也太不舒服了，幸好可以禁止怪物生成，完完全全当成一个收集壁纸的步行模拟器来用，最初想买的原因也是美如画的游戏介绍，实际进入游戏中的时候会发现游戏远比介绍更美，如果你只是喜爱这种风景那么不要犹豫去买吧，但是如果你想玩它还是算了吧，这游戏的非线性不知道干什么我是真的玩起来头大。

时隔大半年终于将两个结局都做完一遍。在国内这确实是个极其冷门的游戏，冷门到想找个完整的攻略都找不到，在这里我推荐去YouTube找一个叫The Jess Lyfe的小姐姐，她的视频做的很完整，完全可以当作攻略来用。如果科学上网有困难也可以去贴吧搜一下，有一个图片攻略帖子，虽然不是很详细，但是却已指明了游戏大致的方向。

游戏的主要目的就是收集到5根可以储存“光”的手指，用来打开通往所谓“天堂”的天梯封印。具体的收集顺序可以参考贴吧帖子的顺序，当然最好还是跟着小姐姐的视频走，比较省心不是？
在这跟他们重复的东西我就不说了，只说一个事，就是在结局进入泉水之前会路过一片草原和海湾，在帖子中只说了深入草原会被杀，但是你不深入，只是在海湾那停留的时间过长，一样会出现可怕的事，[spoiler]我是不会告诉你们我在那因为拍照停留的时间过长，最后来不及开门而直接被送去黑泉的惨痛经历 [/spoiler]，在玩的过程中如果觉得困难还是建议开无怪模式，毕竟方便拍照不是？[spoiler] 我还是不会告诉大家我被红袍怪追得上天无路入地无门的惨痛事实，毕竟要是就我一个人这样丢脸也太没面子了不是？ [/spoiler]

在这里有一个事不吐不快，在你死亡后有时游戏会出现这样一句话，大意好像是“当游戏开发者坐在你旁边时，你问他这个游戏，他会回答你这个游戏他也没怎么玩过”，喵喵喵？所以这就是你将某些地方设计那么变态的理由？[spoiler] 那我就不客气的开你自带的作弊了啊 [/spoiler]

下面可能涉及剧透以及一些个人猜测。[spoiler] 在进入白泉后，主角似乎是得到了新生，一切都被净化掉了，接下来画面出现一个新生婴儿的幻影并传出一阵婴儿的哭声，似乎很是完美，不过模糊的婴儿幻影的形象却透着一丝丝怪异，由此我不由得疑惑，主角是否真的得到了救赎？如果得到了的话为什么婴儿的幻影形象却显得那么怪异？如果没得到，那么主角最后是去了哪？进入黑泉则没什么太好说的，主角应该是整个被腐化了，一双美丽纤细的手完全被染成了乌黑，这或许就是红袍怪的由来？毕竟大多数的红袍怪袍子下都显得那么的幽深黑暗 [/spoiler]。

总之，当游戏结束后，记得最深的不是那四处唯美却静谧得可怕的风景，也不是主角那双美丽诱人的手，而是这个带着一丝莫名意味的结局。

最后还是推荐有耐心感兴趣的人玩一下，这个游戏实际并没有评价中的那么糟。

綺麗で不思議でどこを切り取ってもサマになる、そんな風景画の中を歩き回れるちょっとパズルなお散歩ゲー、MIND: Path to Thalamusの作者が作ったすんげぇダルいホラーお散歩ゲー。

今回も幻想的な景色がないでもないんだけど、ゲーム性がひどい。パックマンを主観視点にしてパワーエサをなくして、普通のエサを食べるのに3秒ほどボタンの長押しが要るようにしたら面白いのかっていう実験作。面白くない。

エレベータを呼ぶのに3秒長押し。上階へ行けって言うのに3秒長押し。穴を飛び越えるのに3秒長押し。長押し地獄。敵はゆっくりじわじわしか追ってこないがこっちもモタモタしか動けないので、上手いこと距離をとって隙を見てすかさずエサを食ってまた逃げろ、みたいなことなんだろうけどダルいとしか言いようがない。

死ぬと一旦なにか死後の世界っぽいエリアに飛ばされ、10mほど離れたところにある現世に戻る装置を3秒長押しするとチェックポイントに戻る。ダルい。本当にその工程要るのか。あまりのダルさに終了しようとESCを押してもメニューが開かない。そう、このゲーム、ESCメニューを開くにも3秒長押しが要る。

長押し地獄（二回目）。

ちなみに普通のエサよりでっかい巨大エサもあるが、食うのにさらに長押し時間が伸びるだけで、体当たりで敵を殺せるようになるだとかそういうマリオのスター地味た効果はない。

workshopに作者自ら提供する敵だけ鈍足化MODや敵が出現しなくなるMODもあるが、主人公は単にドアを開け閉めするだけでも3秒長押しが要るポンコツなので、敵が迫ってくるハラハラ感がなくなったら只々意味もなくモタモタしてるおっさん。

値段と中身が釣り合わなさすぎる。

I loved this game. It takes a different approach than your typical game, where things are introduced with lots of explanation and you are expected to master them. Infernium lets you explore, figure out how to make things work, and is a great blast while doing so.

Expect some 'jump scare' type stuff and frantic running while trying to figure out mazes. Don't leave your mind at the door, because you're going to need it.

Я уже сталкивался с такими нaёбо4ками, по другому не скажешь, но постараюсь быть терпеливым и описать то, что видел и понял в деталях.

[b] [i]INFERNIUM[/i] [/b] - представляет собой симулятор ходьбы с открытым миром, который НЕ ИМЕЕТ жанра survival horror.
Судя по маникюру и милых ручек, нам отводится роль неизвестной девушки, котороя не понятно, что делает в этом запутанном, но красиво-опасном мире.

Единственное, что мы увидим в начале игры, а точнее услышим, так это звук напоминающий аварию (столкновение автомобиля). И скорее всего этот загадочный мир, что-то типо Забвения или Чистилища. Но это только мое мнение и предположение.
К этому я отнесу то, что игра имеет несколько концовок, от которых и складывается такая картина. Но возможно я не прав. Это только мои догадки.

Хоррор - это когда игра держит тебя постоянно в напряжении, наводя на тебя ужас и страх, который погружает все глубже и глубже во мрак, а твои ладошки в этот момент все мокрее и мокрее.
(Хоррор - это Outlast 1/2; SOMA; F.E.A.R.; Alan Wake; Resident Evil 7 и даже Fran Bow, но никак не INFERNIUM.

Выживание?
Выживание - это когда ты в поисках необходимых тебе ресурсов, боеприпасов и т.п.
(Выживание - это The Evil Within 1/2; серия Resident Evil, господи да все, что угодно, но снова не INFERNIUM.

В INFERNIUM убегать от ЛЕТАЮЩЕГО ПОКРЫВАЛА - это считается выживанием, хоррором?

И кстати, главная героиня не умеет прыгать, бегать, приседать, и конечно же сражаться - это survival horror. Вкуси зловещий страх летающего покрывала за 465р!

Since the day it is released, I wanted to play this game so bad but my PC just didn't run it I still don't know why. And I stayed in my friend's home for a few days and finished the game. I think it is more than worth it here is why:

After finishing some parts, my heart was pounding like it is about to blast. Especially, -spoiler alert after this point- the parts near the big orange circular elevator were so hard to pass. I invested my whole day and couldn't make it, then some guy from youtube said I could shut down the enemies and infernium turned into heaven. I love the environments of all the parts especially the one with waterfall and it's water turns into lava slowly. But the story on the walls were impossible to follow, i wish there was a written version of it.

Also some of the mods are really good especially the one with a mother loving her baby lol. The holy mountain is as hard as this game. And with american flagged cloaks, i don't know that to say lol.

I was also in love with the path to thalamus so I hope Carlos continue making this kind of games instead of some swimming 2d fishes lol sorry. But he is too good at making surreal environments which i love. Also, since I am into song-writing, I wish I could make some of the songs of his next games.

[b]At the beginning of the game I loved it and said I will challenge myself to the game as it is. But after I skipped the rain bridge when I faced new enemy "Ghost" , I can see him if there is rain and follow his sound by luck, but then i thought this will goes easy.

Especially when i reached the "plains" there is a puzzle to open the elevator to go up for long dash I couldn't solve it even though I tried six times in row , why !? because 4 ghosts in there and i can't see them well and everything is white, after that i really want to request a refund .
( It was like impossible to pass that level for me) , just by luck i went back to the main menu and head to "Accessibility" there is written:

Seemed very complicated, but very varied. I did not always understand what need to do, but I liked the mechanics of the game and how it looks. It`s worth thinking carefully about the strategy before doing something. There is always time to think, the game does not make you run, only if enemies notice or you start to make action. Some moments may be tense, even if you understand what needs to be done.

It is difficult not in a fun way. I was hoping the challenge would be in solving problems and puzzles within the game world, but it seems to be the challenge is in learning how the game works. I'm stuck and have zero clue how to proceed. It's just a frustrating game with none of the fun puzzles or magic of Mind: Path to Thalamus. Some might enjoy it, probably if they have more experience with this type of game. But I personally can't recommend it.

De bien seguro que vas a maravillarte con la belleza de los escenarios. Su creador hizo un buen trabajo al implementar un modo foto al juego, vas a aprovecharlo mucho.

Los enemigos del juego son muy trolls, te los encuentras en los lugares mas inoportunos, va a ser todo un reto superar los rompecabezas mientras un enemigo sin cara te persigue por todo el nivel.

Lore y secretos por todos lados!

Recomiendo mucho la compra de este juego si te gustan los juegos que se salen de lo común.

This is a careful recommendation.
'Careful' because 1) It is built by either one man or an extremely small team and a lot of my gripes stem from the lack of polish and 2) I didn't play the game 'as intended', meaning I turned off all the monsters.

To preface why I turned off monsters, I have a bit of condition in my hands what makes my reflexes not very good. It is bearable in many games, but not in this one.

I didn't turn monsters off at first but after some time the game with them present became so frustrating I felt that this was the only way for me to continue. The main problem is that in many cases to evade these monsters (as there is almost no other way to deal with the majority of them) requires split-second reflexes. It wouldn't be as bad if the main tool - teleport-like short distance dash - wasn't extremely finicky on even the slightly uneven surface or decline and almost impossible for me to use during the movement. Even with 'Monsters are slower' option on, the dash was unreliable and frustrating, and often resulted in what felt as unfair, unavoidable death. And because, as a game character, I have limited amount of deaths [spoiler](yes, it can be increased later, I know, but I have to get to that 'later' first)[/spoiler] the monsters felt cheap or unpolished.

From what I saw, monster design could have been more interesting and original, as few monsters look like recoloured versions of themselves (although the extremely small developer team is probably a reason for that).

What baffles me, that instead of showcasing the amazing environments of the game, Steam trade cards show those recolored monsters. If the developer reads this review, maybe rethink graphics on trading cards to showcase Purgatory, Crimson River, Waterfalls or what is above the Inverted Castle?

Sadly, there is no option to make timed puzzles - which are a few in the game - to go slightly slower. As with the monsters, they sometimes require split-second precision and often also the use of dash to go through, and the state of my hands simply doesn't allow for this kind of quickness. I wish there was an option for people with bad reflexes to affect timing of timed puzzles as well as the monsters.

Gameplay frustrations aside, without monsters the game is beautiful exploration interwoved with the story you read from the walls and some environmental storytelling. I literally gasped in wonder when I first saw Purgatory with its huge glass spheres and flowers. Inverted Castle, Rain Bridge and what opens above them (and what I won't spoil) are simply breathtaking, as well as all other areas, and I don't regret the time spend wandering in those lands in slightest bit. Just figuring out how and where I should go to continue this wonderful exploration was a game enough for me.

I don't recall music being exceptionally good or exceptionally bad, I think it kind of blends in background.

My other gripe is the story, namely with the person telling it. The _delivery_ of the story: out of order. in fragments and connected to this or that area as the mood of story changes (for example, in Castle, the moment of huge loss is connected to the area with darkened abyss) - is very good by itself. Sometimes, I could swear that writings appear on walls when I am not looking, which was very amazing feeling, even if not true. But the story itself and the character of its narrator...

Not going much into open spoilers, [spoiler] I was quite into it and following through with sympathy right until the Marina admitted she killed her friends on extremely flimsy premise of somewhat hurt and exploited feelings - no sane person would commit several murders because she was asked to provide some free translation work (in fantastic environment, I might add) and keep it a secret for a while, while everybody else sacrificed their livelihoods and financial stability to do the same free work in order to uncover the mystery of that land. Yes, they played the memory of her boyfriend a bit but the decision was hers and it still doesn't deserve murders, what is a very disproportional retribution. To add insult to injury she immediately justifies the murders to herself with old and trite 'The mankind doesn't mean to know!!!' explanation which was never mentioned before or after; to add another insult Marina also calculated that the will only have to die a couple of times to atone for these murders. At the end Marina repulses me as a person she is - short-sighted, remorseless and utterly selfish murderer - and I am kind of glad she never got the paradise she dreamed about at the end, even in her supposed best ending. [/spoiler]

Also I think that the witch tapestries are a bit too well encrypted, and maybe the intend was for community to crack them open as with Souls lore, but not enough people with knowledge of Old Spanish are here to crack them.

There are some cut corners and what I felt were underdeveloped parts: Invisible dog could have been more prominent through the story (Can I befriend it more? Can I maybe pat it?), picture teleport (which I was very exited about at first) isn't really a teleport, more like 'one random picture frame door out of few existing becomes passable through'. Several small mazes felt very copypasted - I've read that the intention of developer here was to create the sense of paranoia and deja vu but it felt as it was a bit too often happening. Again, with such tiny team of maybe just one developer on a budget, it is understandable, and what already exists is kind of amazing, but I wish something more creative was done with this concept of paranoia: maybe environment changes on the way back and in which direction you move through the area? 'Find and match the numbers in braziers' also felt overused and without any connection to the environment or the story of the realm. I kept asking myself why those numbers are there and what do they represent, and I still don't know. It felt as a puzzle for the puzzle sake, something to simply pad the game.

In all and all, even with finicky, jarring teleport, dubious narrator and without deeply frustrating samey monsters, this is a very good game, and only a few things keep it from being an excellent one. If you are interesting in wandering in strange environments simply for the sheer joy of discovery of more strange and wondrous places, it might be worth your time.

This is a really interesting game. It's sort of an exploration and puzzle based horror metroidvania where you have to find a way out of this surreal, dreamlike secular hell dimension. You explore these beautiful, eerie environments and have to solve puzzles while running from or otherwise avoiding unkillable phantoms that mindlessly pursue you if you get to close to them. This leads to a lot of really tense situations where you have to figure out some puzzle under pressure, as you are chased by phantoms. The level design is mostly really good, in that it often seems impossible at first but once you do it you realize that as long as you remain calm and focus, you'll get through by the skin of your teeth every time. You gradually gain more abilities as you progress, and it's semi-open-ended in that you can tackle things in a couple different orders. It even has a pseudo-permadeath system that creates some interesting tension. The story, sort of clumsily told through journal entries written on the walls, is actually pretty intriguing, and provides context without taking away the mystery of the setting.

The game also has some really good accessibility options where you can turn off or slow down enemies, among other things. I never used them until the final puzzle, which was an excessive difficulty spike that didn't feel like it was worth suffering through the required trial and error, so I just turned off the enemies after a dozen or so failed attempts, and finished the game that way.

Overall though, this was a really cool and fairly unique game, all the more impressive that it was made almost entirely by one person, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes tense, challenging puzzles, eerie surreal atmospheres, and mysterious highly architectural level design.

Currently this game has become one of my most interesting game I ever had and play. The game sounds, the environment, how the puzzles have to be done, the idea of the lore, its incredible. You have to take your time in order to learn how to play and how to interact with the game's enemies and puzzles, because out of the sudden you can die instantly. Haven't reach to the end yet but I believe Im close to it. Precious world scenarios and again the game's sound/music its lovely AF!!! I must in a game collection.

Infernium is one of a kind. It may look simple in execution but its design is actually quite well thought and solid. Mixing a 3D metroidvania design with a pacing that would fit better into a walking simulator sounds crazy, but it works beautifully. I had a blast when I realized I could adjust some accesibility options that I definitely needed, because those towel ghosts were giving me a heart attack every 30 seconds and I really wanted to enjoy the beautiful world that Infernium was presenting me.

In fact, I bought this game again on Switch. :D

It's a shame that games that are as hard as this usually end up with a lot of unjustified negative reviews. People should really do their research before buying hard games apparently because that's the number one complaint here, that it's hard and frustrating. Don't buy it if you can't handle it! Watch someone play it first, it's a simple as that, or at least give it a chance instead of refunding after 15 minutes. That being said, I ended up really enjoying this game mainly due to its atmosphere and beauty, the lore, and how simple the concept is, like pacman. I actually find it surprising that the difficulty didn't bother me and steer me away, instead I tolerated it and kept playing most likely because I just wanted to see what was next. Curiosity of the strange and beautiful world really kept me going along with general gameplay as well. All in all I did get to the end after a whole lot of suffering and restarting the game because I had lost all of my lives, but I was never able to actually beat the last segment. Heaven (I assume) was just on the other side of the door, but the last part was so hard that in the end, the benefit of winning outweighed the constant failing I experienced. A very good game though that's very well made and obviously well optimized. Thank you for this great game Carlos, it deserves way more appreciation than it gets, and possible buyers, if you are a crybaby, you probably shouldn't get this game.

I first played this on Switch and its one of the few games that I've repurchased somewhere else purely from Love. This slow building game with fantastic level design and beautiful visuals is my favourite game discovered in 2019. I found the game near impossible without an reading online the rough story and mechanics, but once I had got my head around the basics, the rest came naturally.

I don't feel the use on online guides harmed my enjoyment in any way, infact, a lot of what's out there is vague enough to not spoil anything. The game tells a secondary story through writings left on walls that is disjointed and needs piecing together. However, as I came to the conclusion to the game, I read the story in my own time out of game and it really moved what was a light horror, puzzle game into a thoughtful discovery game. There may even be a third story written in coded writings although if that's true, nobody has deciphered it.

I (barely) made it to the "Plains" stage/level and there I decided the frustration was too much for me.
Maybe having to kite multiple enemies which are invisible is just beyond me. Yes, there is a lever to turn them partially visible, but the effect wears off after a while and the back and forth is a pain.

Maybe retries would be more bearable if getting to the spot where you died was faster...maybe if I was better at memorizing whole maps...I dunno.

I wish I could have seen more of the game, as it seems pretty and interesting, but the truth is that out of four hours of gameplay I probably enjoyed only the second (first hour was pure WTF am I doing).

It's a well built game but evidently not for me...or anyone I know so I can't really recommend it. :(

Very caffeine high while writing this so sorry if it's rambly:

This is one of the most amazing and unique games I have ever played. If you love Dark Souls, this is a game for you, despite the fact that the actual combat is limited. If you like the nostalgia of old arcade games, this also will probably appeal to your taste. This is such a stream-lined game with minimal controls that just make sense. Instead of focusing on how to fight or do combos, your controls quickly become instinctual so all your focus can go into the puzzles and the beautiful world. It's also nice having a game that is capable of teaching you gameplay without an actual tutorial. This game is just really well formed to help you learn how to function within it, and find value in things that seem like props at first (maps!). As Carlos has said, this is a slow cooked game, and the longer you play it, the more you can appreciate it.

I started this game with my brother and my best friend, and after about an hour, we were all getting up and running to the TV and strategizing through puzzles and pointing at maps and yelling "that's a 25 orb!" "blue boy!" A really fun group experience honestly, and each new area you enter is just a gift of art. The sound design is terrifying and beautiful and I like to think diagetic, much like Bloodborne. Very sparse sounds that give you a very particular feeling.

I'm gonna make a comprehensive list cause I'm just rambling atm:

Great things:

*Difficult but rewarding like Dark Souls
*Beautiful art and music design that I honestly find no flaws in
*Cool metaphor and theme that unfolds in a cool way
*♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scary
*Streamlined controls (mostly you just do one thing)
*Puzzles that you can (and eventually will) find loopholes in-I love that the game lets you "out-think" it, and rewards you for it
*You will never find another game quite like this

Only flaw! Carlos, I hope you're reading:
*The main control, which is essentially teleporting from place to place, is fairly glitchy. This doesn't make me not want to play, and I still love this control, but it is a bit disappointing when space is not always relative so you can't get to a place that is absolutely close enough to reach, or when your teleportation circle glitches out on a piece of ground and will only let you hit it if you swing your teleportation beam back and forth one-millionth of a millimeter. It's such a cool, ingenuitive way of movement but I hate when the reason I didn't succeed at a puzzle is cause of a glitch that I have to anticipate, or if I'm stuck on a single island forever trying to find that ONLY PLACE that will magically let me teleport. I wish this could be more reliable on whole.

Anyway, absolutely play this game! It's super replayable since after your first struggle, you will internalize maps and tricks that allow you to move through areas a hundred times faster, much like Dark Souls again. The game shows you how to "get good" and rewards you for it. The first time we did one area, The Castle, we slogged through it for about four days and were basically gasping for joy when we escaped. Now we can get through the area in about an hour. This game feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great to get good at, and I love it, and it's beautiful, and you should buy it. Thank you, Carlos, for making this awesome game and I hope you make more! And maybe if you could patch the teleportation unreliability, this game would be perfect.

I used to hardcore play videogames when I was younger, although I rarely buy/play videogames anymore. The reason is boredom. I don't have that much time anymore, so in a new game I expect to live a new experience, something I have never seen before instead of repeating the (good) old formulas. I also like challenges, difficult-than-average games, atmosphere and aesthetics. Infernium is a gem in this sense, right to the point, and I got addicted the minute I stepped into these astonishingly designed levels.

To my surprise the game has now "Mixed reviews" and this is the reason why I decided to drop here my first review ever in Steam. In my opinion this game deserves much more attention and I totally recommend it to (at least to try) to everyone. I thank Carlos Coronado from the bottom of my heart that I have been able to enjoy this marvel last year, which and I can't wait to see what else is going to offer us in the future.

Infernium is a slow paced game full of exploration and secret finding.

It feels psychedelic in respects to the different atmospheres in each area you go to.

Put some time into the game and it will pay off.

(My playtime shows 0.1 hours but I've played about 3 hours roughly)
