it's a good game. pretty much mario maker but better (and free). my only real issue with this game is the fact the game judges your level based on whether it's laggy or not before submitting a level. My pc is always lagging, hence making it so I cannot upload levels at all, sometimes even without the level lagging.

Takes 1 hour to get used to, but the default controlls are HORRIBLE. Overall, it's EXACTLY what I was looking for. :)

Its a very fun game based around creating levels, the campain is fun and the level editor is very in depth, allowing you to create complex things such as recreating tetris. or if your more of a kaizo person you can also create whats known as a "needle" level ( a level with lots of spikes ) there are multiple types of levels you can find being made hourly.
overall this is an amazing game with a fun community to be with!

Five reasons why I Wanna Maker is a fun game.
1. It has a campaign. (Story mode).
2. You can make levels.
3. You can play with friends.
4. It has a monthly mix. (Top levels of the month).
5. The game has mild coding.
And that's five reasons why I Wanna Maker is a fun Game.
Update after reaching the end of the campaign:
I'm dropping my rating down to 6/10 because the final campaign boss is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
You have to shoot the boss at an insane rate of fire in order to kill it in time before it reaches the end of the level and runs into you (instant kill). The game has no autofire, though, so prepare yourself for carpel tunnel.
To make it clear how fast you have to mash the fire button to kill that boss, I literally couldn't do it on all but one of my tries. Instead of killing the boss, I just ended up with wrist and arm pain.
This is also yet another chained boss fight sequence with no checkpoints, so if you thought your carpel tunnel was already bad when you finally killed that boss, think again. You'll have to beat it again every time you die to one of the other bosses and get sent back to the start.
I will never beat this game, as I uninstalled as soon as I saw that there was no checkpoint after reaching the final boss. It's just the trashest of trash design.
Still, Worlds 1 through 5 were fantastic, while World 6 was pretty bad, but mostly acceptable aside from the final boss. I still recommend the game. Just know when to quit playing. There's no reason to permanently damage your body just because of terrible game design, so do your future self a favor and skip the final boss.

I love this game.
It's outrageously, brutally difficult, but it values your time by placing checkpoints everywhere. Some games will waste five minutes of your life running back from a checkpoint every time you die, but here you're right back into the action. I can easily die 50+ times in just a few minutes.
Dying that often and retrying that quickly means you're also going to rapidly get better at the game. I can master a level before someone playing another game can even get back to the boss. It feels SO GOOD to have my time valued. So few games do that these days.
I'd give it a 10/10, but it runs like rotten garbage for some reason and has a 50 FPS cap on top of that. I'm dropping it down to an 8/10 due to that. I even get stutters and short freezes sometimes, which is ridiculous for a 2D game running on a high-end PC.
Still, great game, and I highly recommend everybody try it.

Absolutely fantastic game. My kids (5 and 3) started messing around making levels and I helped my oldest play through the campaign. Wonderfully polished and as simple/complex as you want to make it for creating levels. The campaign is very enjoyable and well done. Unbelievable quality for something completely free without adds or other monetization. Great educational value for introductory programming with triggers, events, and creative problem solving. We have only ever played offline, community made online levels probably open up a whole new element.

De los mejores juegos. Ahorita no lo juego mucho comparado con antes, aun asi, es bastante recomendable si te gusta los fangames y la comunidad de I Wanna Be The Guy. (Eso si, los niveles en linea estan medio dificiles y les recomendaria que primero se jugaran el modo campaña antes del modo en linea)
Great Game and would easily reccomed the game to anyone who likes the genra but make sure you change the controls until your comfortable.
For as much of an online service [b]I Wanna Maker[/b] is, its campaign has some of the best level designs I'd seen for a platformer:
- Pretty difficult, but not "Kaizo"-difficult;
- Offers unique challenges for collectibles every level;
- A lot of unique gimmicks and mechanics that actually work;
- Huge variety of themes, visual styles and music from many artists.
For a free game, this is a steal! Don't be afraid to play it just because of its roots, because even its hardest challenges never require any specific techniques, but just good ol' platforming skills!
