¿Qué es un buda?
Buda es una palabra sánscrita que significa «el que despertó». Éste es el término que se le asigna al fundador del budismo. Él no era un dios ni era un profeta ni un mesías. El Buda nació como un ser humano normal que, a través de su esfuerzo, alcanzó un estado de perfecta sabiduría y completa sensibilidad hacia todo lo que existe. Dicho en otras palabras, él despertó a su propio potencial y a la naturaleza verdadera del mundo que le rodeaba.
A este estado tradicionalmente se le denomina «Iluminación» y es la esencia de la enseñanza budista. Todas sus doctrinas y prácticas están hechas para ayudar al ser humano, hombre o mujer, a llegar a su propio potencial de Iluminación.
Desde los tiempos del Buda muchos otros hombres y mujeres también han alcanzado el estado de iluminación, sin embargo, el título de «el Buda» se reserva generalmente para el pionero, Siddharta Gautama, el hombre que descubrió el sendero a la iluminación y que indicó el camino para que otros lo siguieran.
Niño rico insatisfecho
Siddhartha Gautama nació alrededor del año 560 AEC (antes de la era común) en una familia aristócrata y próspera del clan shakya, en lo que ahora es Nepal, al norte de la India. El fermento religioso de la India antigua en la Era Axial
El mundo al que salió Siddhartha era bastante primitivo, comparado con nuestro mundo actual, sin embargo era mucho más rico, en un sentido filosófico y espiritual, que el mundo moderno occidental. Las escrituras budistas tempranas nos dejan la impresión de que había una sociedad con un profundo interés por las cuestiones fundamentales de la existencia. Había un gran número de maestros de meditación, abundaban las escuelas de filosofía y los debates religiosos eran una especie de deporte popular con un muchos espectadores. Esto no sólo pasaba en India sino también en Grecia, China, Persia y en Medio Oriente. A este fermento tan concentrado de genio humano en el mundo se le ha llamado la Era Axial. Dentro de esta atmósfera, Siddhartha anduvo errante seis años, meditando y aprendiendo de los más famosos maestros del norte de la India, con una admirable determinación por encontrar lo que sentía que le había faltado en su vida anterior.
Las austeridades de Siddhartha
Por un tiempo dedicó su vida a un ascetismo extremo, dejando de comer y dormir, con la esperanza de que esto le ayudara a alcanzar la verdad. Entonces, se dio cuenta de que no resultaba de utilidad para su práctica espiritual maltratar al cuerpo y, dándole la espalda al ascetismo, se dedicó de corazón a la meditación.
Su iluminación
Después de un esfuerzo continuo, una noche de luna llena del mes Vesakha, en el año 528 AEC, Siddhartha Gautama se sentó a meditar al pie de una higuera, a la orilla del rió Niranjana, sitio que ahora se conoce con el nombre de Bodh-Gaya y juró que no se levantaría sin haber encontrado lo que buscaba.
En ese momento su determinación era invencible.
Entró en un estado de meditación profunda y mientras transcurría la noche su conciencia iba penetrando capas cada vez más profundas de la naturaleza de la realidad, hasta que alcanzó una percepción directa y total de la verdad. Los tres niveles de la Iluminación
La tradición budista de todas las escuelas habla de la iluminación como una experiencia compuesta de tres factores. Para empezar se habla de la iluminación como un estado de conciencia clara y pura -e incluso radiante-. En este estado de conciencia deja de experimentarse la dualidad sujeto-objeto. Sin embargo, ésta es una conciencia de las cosas como realmente son.
En segundo lugar, pero de igual importancia, se dice que la iluminación es un intenso estado de compasión y amor profundo que se desborda, no únicamente hacia los seres humanos sino hacia todos los seres vivientes; todos los seres que respiran, los que se mueven, los que sienten. Así es como siente la mente iluminada.
En tercer lugar, la Iluminación consiste en un estado o una experiencia de una energía mental y espiritual inagotable. Se puede decir que la Iluminación es un estado de una energía que se encuentra burbujeando continuamente; un estado de espontaneidad y creatividad absolutas e ininterrumpidas.
Esto es lo que quiere darse a entender por medio del término “Iluminación”, como se expresa en la tradición budista. Lo que sucede realmente es que el conocimiento se convierte en amor y la compasión en energía. La energía a su vez se convierte en sabiduría. Lo cierto es que no podemos separar ningún aspecto de los demás.
La enseñanza del Buda
La tradición budista en su totalidad existe para ayudar a otros a llegar al mismo tipo de despertar y de liberación. A esta enseñanza, en Occidente, se le conoce como budismo y fue la influencia religiosa más importante que tuvo la India durante los siguientes 1,500 años de su historia, después de la vida de Siddhartha Gautama.
So, my only gripe is that the artist (Enrique Bolatre/Nighto) ha sonly been a part of one other game of this developers, that I can tell? (Starlight Drifter is the other game.) And I desperately want more VNs with their style involved, the characters all look so soft and nice! Apparently the art is a sticking point for some people, but, it's all based on our own tastes :3
All in all, I had fun with this silly little game, and I wish I could get more VNs that include this artist.

6/10. This game is carried by cute art and an uncommon subject, but it's missing something. There isn't that much art, so the characters aren't expressive and a couple of scenes that feel like they should be bigger aren't given the CGs you would expect. There are no side characters at all. The romances are cute but obvious. The MC's "secret" is[spoiler]n't actually a secret to anyone[/spoiler]. It only took me an hour to read through, though I do read VNs really fast.
But in the end it is still cute, and I need more crossdressers. I won't fault a 1 hour VN for not being ambitious enough, and considering that length I guess it is surprising how much there is. Just wait for a sale, don't buy it at full price.

Jogo extremamente curto, poucas rotas e personagens. O visual remete a estilos mais simples, mas chego a considerar fofo. Apesar da TAG nudez, o máximo que aparece são personagens em roupas intimas e nada além. Apesar do meu tempo atual de gameplay, devo ter terminado em cerca de 1.5h, talvez até menos. Os pontos que considero positivos: É possível avançar os diálogos vistos anteriormente, usando TAB ou o botão >> e ele possui cartas. No momento, fiz todas as conquistas e estou com o jogo aberto por conta do drop. Particularmente, creio que não vale o preço cheio e, se muito, uns 20 reais. Por conta dessas limitações, não recomendo.

Honestly surprisingly progressive for a 2015 game. But the recurring "oh he's a boy, so OBVIOUSLY he's better at sports/videogames" bit made me cringe. That is however not enough to take away from a super wholesome experience. Bravo!

A buddy sent me this as a bday gift. I don't have a lot of experience with visual novels outside of DDLC but this was a pretty enjoyable for a quick play through. The game is pretty short at around 2 hours. Quality of dialogue was much better than I was expecting. Art style is not my favorite but decent. Music was nice. My only real complaint is I wish it was a bit longer.

Игра с примесью lgbtq+ о чём не упоминается в оформлении (наверно из за даты выпуска - тогда ещё нынешних правил в стиме не ввели). Подаётся как о парне "вынужденно" вошедшего в образ тянки. Но игрока ожидают - переодевания в костюм "горничной", примерки нижнего белья, а потом и уже выбор какие трусы-бикини и лифон ему на сегодня одеть (вошёл во вкус) и романтические школьные отношения с "настоящими" тянками. Оформлено всё в игре в красно-розово-светлых с жёлтым оттенком тонах (панелей, задников, персонажей, шрифтов - всего, других оттенков в игре практически нет, эти прямо доминируют) - и либо этот продукт нацелен на девочек, либо на пiдоров. Рисовка у игры соответствующая - в ней нет красивых "тян" на которых захотел бы поdрочить игрок, все персонажи нарисованы так что бы не стать сексуально объективизированными, лица как картошки и носы картошки, разве что "вымя" неадекватных размеров одно на всех за каким-то пририсовали. Сама история не интересная, как и отношения главного героя - скучно, слащаво, трансгендерно.

I kid you not that is the whole game. You are an effeminate looking guy who crossdresses and gets into risque situations with 2 highschool girls and your principle. I can only recommend this game if you have a thing for feminization or crossdressing yourself. Nothing particularly interesting happens as it can be summed up as typical highschool events with the occasional reminder that yes, you are a guy dressed as a girl and you don't want anyone else to know but after interacting with you for like 5 mins. they will know. Selina doesn't even look like she was drawn the same way as the rest of the game. Seriously wait until this is on sale for like $5 if you are curious but don't expect a masterpiece; just girls in their bras, panties, some kissing and if you go for Lea a maid scene.

Típica y tópica novela visual con premisa más desnortada que ridícula, que en principio parecía tener cierto potencial para una historia mínimamente solvente con algún agradecido apunte sexual o sicalíptico (máxime atendiendo a las etiquetas del juego en Steam, que han resultado ser inciertas y erradas) pero que siquiera intenta ir más allá de la inocencia y candidez de un beso en ropa interior.
La premisa es de telenovela de tercera. Un chaval es enviado por error a un internado sólo para chicas y la directora, una moza de muy buen ver, se apiada de su situación personal y decide acogerle en el mismo siempre y cuando se haga pasar por una de ellas, travistiéndose y tratando de pasar inadvertido ante sus nuevas compañeras. Sus objetivos se focalizarán en progresar en sus estudios e intentar crear toda suerte de "afinidades" con algunas de ellas (la madurita con responsabilidades -que es a quien yo intento calzarme aunque aún no me han dado la posibilidad ni de meter baza-, la solitaria y aplicada en sus estudios y la deportista inmadura y jovial). De hecho, siquiera puedo afirmar que la madurita sea un objetivo. Diría que las posibilidades se reducen a las dos alumnas.
¿Problema? La narrativa es anodina, apresurada e ingenua, porque es tan naif y bienintencionada, sin incidir en un mínimo conflicto, que la mayoría de las conversaciones divagan sobre estereotipos y naderías improductivas poco interesantes porque ninguno de estos personajes está bien desarrollado más allá del cliché, y no hay mayor intencionalidad mecánica que seleccionar entre un par de opciones, de cuando en cuando, que simplemente afectan a la progresión del interés amoroso. A ese respecto, el juego es el paradigma de novela visual estereotipada y acomodaticia, sin absolutamente nada que aportar mecánicamente, y su desenlace tampoco redimensiona todo su entramado narrativo, más bien al contrario. Es previsible y obvio.
Si bien, tampoco diría que es un título totalmente desdeñable. Su diseño artístico es simple, su OST poco inspirada y su narrativa muy inocente pero en ocasiones sabe ser amable, puntualmente simpático y a pesar de su premisa no han incidido prácticamente nada en desnortes "políticamente correctos" o chorradas varias y se agradece. Mi valoración sería neutra tirando a negativa, pero dado que no es posible, lo recomiendo con muchísimas reservas, a precio de derribo y para un perfil de jugador que realmente adore el género y sepa disculpar sus muchas carencias. No es Doki Doki o Paranormasight ni de lejos...

This is such a lovely experience. For those who think this is a hentai game, it's not. There's *some* exposure of skin, but I would say it's good for people in their late teens, no genitalia or anything. It's just a short story about choosing your crush, assisting them and building a relationship with them. The dialogue is very cute and I love the main character's femininity in it. Heartwarming <3

Thank you Mr Anime connoisseur Joey Bizinger for this game. Your videos on this game might be old but I just had to get this game to see all the routes and dialogue.
The only Gripe I have is that there aren't enough static pictures but I enjoyed it and I'm one of those heathens that hate these types of games. So basically I loved this game and you should get it if you want short but fun experience, totally worth it.
Contexte d'achat :
Il est clair qu'Higschool Romance n'est pas vraiment mon style de jeu... Comment ce fait-il donc qu'il soit dans ma bibliothèque....? Même moi je me pose encore la question en vrais... Lorsque j'ai voulu améliorer mon badge Subnautica en fusionnant les cartes steam, j'ai remarqué que l'on obtenait des bons de réduction de 66%. Parmi les quelques bons de ce type que j'ai obtenus, il n'y avait que Higschool Romance de "potable" on va dire... Et comme je voulais tester cette mécanique, que je n'avais jamais essayé auparavant, j'ai pris celui là. Bien sur ensuite, étant perfectionniste et ayant payé mon jeu, malgré la forte réduction, je l'ai tout de même testé et fini.
Verdict :
Alors... Hmmm... Que dire XD... Je crois que c'est assez compliqué pour moi de juger de ce genre de jeu, n'y étant pas très habitué. Je crois que le plus simple serait de résumer mes quelques impression par ceci : Pour six moments "Haha" (que je qualifierait également de moment agréablement drôles voir humoristiques), j'ai relevé vingt quatre moments "Oskour" (que je qualifierait également de moments cringes et malaisants)... Les moments malaisants relevaient d'une certaine situation de crosdressing du personnage principal, de réflexions sur le genre (heureusement jamais poussées trop dans ce que je n'aime pas, cela aurait été red flag sinon...) et d'une certaine inclinaison de la principale du collège à être totalement dérangée XD (notamment vu son statut et celui de son élève, ainsi que la différence d'age, de même que pour son inclinaison prononcée pour les jeunes garçons qui s'habillent en filles). Ironiquement et ça me fais bizarre de devoir l'admettre, c'est probablement la romance avec la principale qui est, il faut le reconnaître, la plus... excitante des trois... Le jeu, dans son style, fait donc ce que l'on attend de lui en vérité et ce serait malhonnête de ma part d'en attendre plus, mais je pense que je m'abstiendrais de tester les recomandations de steams avec ces coupons hasardeux à l'avenir XD.

This is such a lovely experience! For those wondering, it's not a hentai game. While there’s some skin exposure, it's nothing explicit—perfectly appropriate for late teens. The game is more about choosing your crush, helping them, and building a sweet relationship. The dialogue is adorable, and I really enjoy the main character's femininity. It's a short, heartwarming story, and I had a great time playing through it. Highly recommend for those who enjoy cute and charming visual novels!

Wordy silly gender-disguising bland romantic story. The Sexual Content tag's pretty much a lie: There's a couple of very tame and innocent bra-and-panty scenes. That's all there is.
If you're super into cutsey romance, and don't mind a very meh linear story that is essentially just a gal-selector you might get some mileage out of it.
There's really nothing to it though.

ГГ попадает в школу для девочек, и такое чувство, что в этой школе учатся только эти три девушки… Других персонажей в игре нет вообще! Но самое обидное для меня — это отсутствие хентая=( Обычный дорогой проходняк…

Lea is the hardest route, also the one that will make you the... Hoshi is sweet but kinda standard but enjoyable nonetheless. Selina is pretty great. Lea is best though in conclusion. Also the game has a strong emphasis on it being ok to cross dress and to experiment with who you are which is much better than the forced masculinity in most games. I enjoyed this a lot.
I don't play a lot of visual novels but I genuinely found this game lovely. This is not only the only visual novel i have finished, but I 100% it.

This is an enjoyable visual novel, but it is extremely short with little in the way of interaction. And there is a dearth of artwork. The premise of the story is neat, but it is just underbaked due to how short the game is. As soon as the story gets going, it abruptly ends. And the whole premise is further undercut by this. I had hoped we could potentially see the character develop receptivity to being a crossdresser or even becoming a girl permanently. And with the lack of interactivity, there really isn't much to see. The lack of artwork is also a major negative. While the artwork is exceptional and very charming, there's not much of it at all.
So while I recommend getting it, it is only if you can get it on steep discount.

One of the earlier VNs from the Dharker Studios. A brief slice of life, cross-dressing romance story with a sprinkle of comedy.
An initially forced cross-dressing at an all-girl school and some consequences of it serve as the main theme of this title. It's mainly a light slice of life romance within a typical school setting feeling similar to other stories of that type. Nothing unusual or surprising happens here. Writing is pretty straightforward but decent and I enjoyed it for the most part. This VN is short so there is little chance it will get boring before you finish it. Three different endings provide some replayability.
The character art is hit or miss, I think. It has a distinct western character with a hint of anime style. I'm not a big fan of it but it has an ok quality. There are only a few charcter sprites and variations but it's reasonable considering the budget. Simple backgrounds and interface match the overall style.
Music is pretty standard and mostly fits the events. There were a few moments when I found the accompanying track a bit weird. I felt it was not matching the mood of a scene. No songs or voice acting here. Nothing really memorable either, just ok.
No issues encountered.
To summarize, a short, decently written slice of life at school story with some western style art and average music. It might be worth reading if that is your type. Can recommend: 5.5/10
