handshakes is a short 2 hour relaxing 2D puzzle game where you need to solve 30 unique levels with the objective of achieving a handshake between two ♥♥♥♥♥♥s, the puzzles were engaging and rewarding to solve and I never felt bored nor frustrated in my playthrough, overall I would recommend checking out the game though I can't guarantee you will find it fun because some puzzles need you to use your brain and I can't confirm if you have one , 6 out of 10

Całkiem przyjemna i zmuszająca do myślenia gra logiczna. Oferuje w sumie 30 poziomów i w każdym sterujemy dłońmi dwóch ziomków. Cel gry to ze sobą wzajemnie ich przywitać i starać się unikać ucinania im dłoni. (chociaż czasem trzeba)
Ogólnie gra przyjemna i fajna, jeśli ktoś lubi poświęcić chwilę na znalezienie rozwiązania. Można również pokusić się o speedrun gierki! Polecam
Es buen juego, entretenido y se nota que los puzzles están trabajados. Las ideas son buenas y es lo suficientemente rebuscado como para que tengas que pensar un poco, aunque los titulos del nivel dan una pistas pero bueno es también la gracia de que cuando estas perdido ver por lo menos por donde ir. Recomendado.

It's a cool puzzle game, and I recommend everyone to try it. You can play with someone to spend a pleasant evening with someone who also enjoys games. The graphics may not be the best, but it's sure to find an audience. And of course, it's a great brain teaser when you can't complete a level for a long time. I highly recommend it, and you won't regret it.

A cute push-puzzle game (TIL what a Sokoban is). Some of the levels had some very clever layouts and have you scratching your head for a minute or two before that eureka moment sets in. Even better that it's free so there's no excuse not to give it a go.

Handshakes by Pet Pumpkin is a short and sweet top-down sokoban puzzle game that casual fans of the genre will certainly enjoy but it does add substantial and interesting food for thought.
Before I dive deeper into this short commentary, I want to preface this review by acknowledging two very important features: Handshakes is a ‘game-jam’ project created with tight constraints and turned into a Steam release and moreover it is available on the marketplace for free. This predisposition already contextualises Handshakes well as a game that is both light and financially risk-averse. However, this is where the dilemma lies.
Firstly, Handshakes handles like a game. There is a clear objective, simple and effective mechanics and a logically-satisfactory end condition. Pushing a button moves pixels on the screen and there is just enough juice for audio-visual feedback that makes the human brain acknowledge a change in a mathematical condition. Within this basic barebones digital spectacle there is nothing that screams out of the ordinary. As a result, the posed question is this: how can a product like this be reviewed on a final binary scale of positive or negative that the Steam marketplace affords for game reviewers?
At its core, it can be argued that Handshakes is so painfully basic that even if it doesn’t do anything fundamentally wrong, it is almost a disservice to brand it as a game that is overall a positive. Passion speaks loudly through the heart and it burns with a desire to push the barriers of this exciting form of media through either experimentation or mastery of the form. In Handshakes, there is no broad narrative, engaging character design or clever logic. There is no grand exposure, excitingly uncertain turn of events or mind-boggling effects. There are just thirty short levels of relatively easy difficulty complete with subpar pixel art assets. And all of this works. In fact, it works well. But the question that interests the rational mind is how can it receive the same arbitrary review as more adventurous projects and can a product that is free be protected from its shortcomings?
Ultimately, the dilemma is perpetuated by Steam’s binary review system and Handshakes is caught in a cross-fire. Conclusively, Handshakes is a barebones financially risk-free casual game that can entertain some for an hour. It doesn’t do anything much more than that and it certainly does not do anything substantial. Perhaps it is regrettably that strive for innovation and perfection that kills game development altogether, and therefore Handshakes is an epitome of this characteristic. It is a reminder and a worthwhile reflection of what I could never do as an aspiring game developer and ultimately and justifiably that is exactly why it does indeed deserve its copious positive reviews. As far as Steam reviews go, the system certainly has its drawbacks and more effort could be directed to tighten feedback and bridge these grey-areas.

Играл с младшим братом, игра реально прикольная.
Сначала кажется простой, но потом мозг начинает работать. Вдвоём играть особенно весело, потому что постоянно обсуждаешь, кто куда идёт и как лучше сделать. Иногда тупили, иногда орали от радости, когда получалось 😆
Если честно, на 15 и 16 уровнях мы немного читернули и подсмотрели прохождение на YouTube 😅 Но только на них. Дальше уже принципиально решили проходить сами на характере, с кучей попыток и обсуждений, и в итоге всё-таки прошли. От этого удовольствие было ещё больше.
А ластовый 30 уровень вообще забавным показалось,там на последнем уровне нужно пожать руки за пределами карты,Сначала думали баг, а потом дошло)Идея неожиданная и очень классная. После прохождения игры ещё играл с другом через Parsec. Сначала делал вид, что вообще не понимаю, я специально тупил . А потом внезапно включал режим 200 IQ и за пару секунд проходил уровень,в конце просто по-братски жали руки 😄.Но жаль что инпутлаг нас немного мучил,друг нажимал на движение, и персонаж реагировал с небольшой задержкой, из-за этого иногда было неудобно играть.Очень хотелось бы, чтобы в будущем добавили полноценный онлайн-режим, а ещё возможность для сообщества создавать свои уровни, режимы и карты это было бы вообще классно.
Для бесплатной игры вообще топ. Отличный вариант, чтобы поиграть с братом или другом и просто хорошо провести время.

The only thing I felt was a little misleading was the part about the levels being designed to stretch my brain and not strain it, because honestly, I did hit my desk (with both hands and eventually forehead) a couple of times around the middle and later levels.
