在2017年还是2018年的时候，不知从何处首先接触到了《遥かな空間へ》这首歌，然后这首歌就莫名成了我wyy听歌榜单第一名，截止现在听了460多次，领先第二100多次；那个时候我知道这是某个游戏的OST，但是一直没有真的去通关这个游戏本身、或者说至少在游戏里摸到这首歌出场的地方

一定程度上，因为那首歌的缘故，这个游戏算是个，我也不知道怎么描述，一种空洞？就是它在那，我没有完成，如果我没有完成，它会变成遗憾；我朋友管我这个心态叫朝圣，跟我说了一些类似“朝圣他不是那么紧迫的事，而是你一直记得，所以终将踏上旅途”的话

而现在我把它通关了（主线），一段迟到了7年的朝圣之旅，一个王道RPG，以一个很王道的理由去完成了这部很王道的作品

游戏本身的亮点和玩法基本上看商店页面给的描述也就明白了，差不多就是一个速通模拟器，在30秒内完成刷级、给村民通马桶、买装备、最后打爆魔王的RPG；这个30秒其实大部分时候都不够用，这时候只要给史上最喜欢钱的时间女神爆金币，她就会给你重置时间了，有一部分关卡本身也包含了和时间有关的机制；时间限制也不总是30秒，有时候可能是60秒、99秒、3秒、或者震撼人心的3000000000秒 [spoiler] 第四章最后一关，也就是这首歌所在的地方 [/spoiler]

现在游戏的可选项太多了，你说这个游戏有什么十分十分突出的地方吗，其实也没有；但是在看遍了各种苦大仇深、各种创新创死人、各种恶心人的精神变态的文化作品之后，回来看看这种根本不打算带脑子的、反正燃就完事了、英雄就完事了、打爆一切就完事了的王道作品不是也很好吗？

其实这游戏我不是最近才买的，我是几年前买的，23年的时候玩过一点点没玩下去；这几天怎么突然想起来想通关了也完全没理由，也许是量子纠缠吧？
但是会触发量子纠缠的事情会越来越少的，时间会公平地带走你我身边所有的一切，青春、记忆、身边的人、以及我们自己。

This game is super fun, its less of an RPG and more of a puzzle solving game. You have to do everything at the right time and plan your actions out super well.

Dialogue is pretty good - but if you dont like it it will be grating and irritating.

Theres a huge focus on story this time around... Not sure if thats a good or bad thing (depends on u, of course). Reccomend on sale.

I had high expectations for this one, but game failed on delivering. It's not "30 seconds", as the core gameplay is finding ways to reset your clock counter, multiple times. And it is not "RPG", as it is divided in dozen stories ("quests"), every one starting from scratch - you also can't upgrade stats, manage battles or do whatever you are supposed to do in a RPG. I'd call it a puzzle game set in a Final Fantasy theme. Dialogs are long and boring. Humor is MIA. WTF guys? First episode was better and more on point.

[b]HALF MINMUTE HERO II: SECOND COMING[/b] is as fun as the game that came before it on PSP. For those unaware, its basically DRAGON QUEST/FF1 on steroids. The golddigger THOT Time Goddess charge you money like a b****, in exchange for cutting your grinding and rewinding time. After all, every bosses have the SPELL OF DESTRUCTION which will wipe the world off in 3O SECONDS! So you NEED her services. <3 You do quests, earn gear, can change gear (even to worse ones that you like the looks of more), etc. Its quick paced and fun.

[b]PROS:[/b]
- Lovely cast of characters. My favorite is Yushuu.
- Sprites are cute and well made. The GALLERY mode has FULL ILLUSTRATIONS made of most ALLIES/BOSSES, which is really nice! Once you beat a boss you can go peek there to see their art/sprites + 2 extra lore descriptions on them too!
- Jukebox feature unlocked once you clear the game (no 1OO% needed)
- You can dress the goddess in other attire. My favorite is the blue one-piece swimsuit. <3 It looks both sexy and silly. Love it.
- Some really nice soundtracks in there.
- Controllers works well: PS4, SwitchPRO, Hori (Wired).
- Multiplayer capabilities, though I havent tried.
- Funny dialogues sometimes (its really good).
- LEVEL EDITOR INCLUDED!! :D
- Most missions are open ended. Meaning not every players will finish them the same/grind as much/follow the same path. Many times theres a title to earn for very way. One kind that's funny is betraying your friends, leaving them all to die (on those you have to rescue them) and you get a cutscene where they are like "Wait.. did NIRRITI forget about us? What the hell??" This is a RECURRING JOKE which you can indulge in the game, many times. The mission is STILL cleared though and they eventually catch up to you as if nothing. Its dumb, but its harmless fun times.
- "Beautiful Evil Lord 30" makes a comeback as cameo alongside his bat-transformed wife.

[b]CONS:[/b]
- The moving castle/fortress system felt forced and I didnt care for it too much tbh. I wished it wasnt in the game but its fine as it is. Its just a personal nitpick.
- Game took more than 30 sec (teehee!)
- An achievement was bugged for me.

[b]CONCLUSION:[/b] Is it fun? YES. Do I recommend it? YES! But you better buy it quick, as while you were busy reading my review, I, Succubus Nirriti, (omaewa) already started casting the SPELL OF DESTRUCTION, meaning you have less than 30 seconds to purchase the game unless you wanna be wiped to dust. <3<3<3

용사 30의 후속작 용사 30 second, 초고속 용사가 다시한번 대쉬!

이 게임을 추천을 줘야할지, 비추천을 줘야할지 상당히 고민했다. 전작보다 시원한 진행이 생각보다 힘들어서 그렇다. 이게 지형인지, 장애물인지 모를 장식물도 많고, 은근 모르면 맞아야지 식의 퍼즐도 많다. 나중가면 익숙해지긴 할텐데 세계 몇번 말아먹고 나서야 익숙해진다니 영.. 게임의 파고들기 요소는 장난 아니게 많다. 엄청 많다. 생각보다 많은 등장인물을 동료로 삼을 수 있고, 스토리 라인이 전작의 단순화된 라인보다 더 강렬한 스케일을 목표로 확장되었다. 마왕, 기계, 천족까지 온갖걸 잡아팰 수 있다. 스토리 자체는 JRPG에서 옛시절에 유행하던 정석적인 스타일. 감동적인 부분도 많고, 열혈적인 부분도 많으니 only 스킵으로 게임을 즐기기엔 어렵다. 꼭 스토리 보면서 플레이하가자.

물론 단점도 없는건 아닌지라, 피로도 높은 몇몇 구성과 퍼즐, 전작에 비해 난이도는 감소했지만, 그만큼 숨겨놓은 요소가 한두개가 아닌 수준으로 많아졌다. 다 찾을라니 영 모양새도 안나오고 해서 동료 한명만 제외하고 전부 모으는걸로 끝맺음 짓기로 했다. 전작은 다양한 게임플레이 방식을 보여줬던 것과 달리 전작의 용사 30 모드로 통일했는데, 이것도 전작의 방식을 즐겼다면 아쉬운 점(모드를 덜어내고 스토리에 집중한 듯 하다) 한패 역시 PC버전은 지원하지 않아서 유저한패를 써야하는데 이건 DLC 번역이 안되어있다. 번역팀도 그 이후 갱신이 없는걸봐선 DLC는 포기하는게 맞는듯. 전작 패치와 마찬가지로 한패하고 DLC 스테이지 들어가면 먹통되니까 무결성 돌려주자.

게임은 라이트하게 재밌다. 다먹고나면 충분히 잘 즐겼을 정도로 단점은 크게 기억나진 않는다. 전작과 다르게 플레이어 스스로 어드벤티지를 늘릴 수 있고, 전작에서 나왔던 제한 요소 대부분을 거뒀다. 그래도 공식 한패도 없고 하니 아쉬울뿐이다.

Jugablemente se mantiene fiel a la campaña principal del primero sin otras diferentes, y por ello intenta variar y complejizar más esta (con niveles, batallas fuera de las secciones de las misiones, etc.), con resultados mixtos, pero sigue siendo entretenido. En términos de trama abandona mucho chiste para tomarse en serio mediante diferentes tipos de tramas, personajes, arcos, situaciones y demás; es peor e inconsistente, pero al mismo tiempo deja ver claramente que cada aspecto que meten es un homenaje a todos los RPGs que adoran en vez de una parodia de los estereotipos del género, y que se nota también con todos los tipos de diseños de monstruos y compositores por diferentes leyendas del mundillo del RPG japonés, así que si lo miras desde ese punto de vista le da el suficiente encanto para tirar que sea una idea objetivamente peor.

Lo recomiendo si te apetece sentir ese amor por el género y todavía tienes hambre de jugar más fases con esa idea, pero consciente de que el tono del juego no es el mismo y a lo mejor no te guste tanto por ello.

Great take on the jrpg formula. The game never got a lot of coverage but i think it still holds up pretty well today. Of course later levels are longer than 30 seconds but it never feels like a drag.
Also, there's a lot of jokes and the game doesn't take itself too serious.
As by now you can buy only the bundle, but it's easily worth its money.

Absolutely a wonderful love letter to classic jrpg fans. You have 30 seconds to level up and beat the Evil Lord that stands in your way. You follow a hero on his journey to face down threats across the continent in this sequel to the original game. It's a heartwarming experience with a lot of cute and sometimes really clever comedic scenes (There's one that happens on a boat as soon as it leaves port that FLOORED me). I never though pixelated sprites would make me feel emotions, but this game really is a wonderful experience.

１から10の音量設定が欲しかった。
あと前作に比べて新機能が増えすぎてシンプルさがなくなった感じ。

Minus possibly one of the worst boss battles like...ever during Quest 24, i had a blast with this game. It builds off of the 1st game well and adds plenty of mechanics and systems that make it a joy to play. The game is also quite long without ever feeling boring. i was iffy at first, but as i played, i started to enjoy it more and ended up liking it more than the 1st game. Also the music is unexpectedly great at times. I do dislike the Hero Castle and Giant enemies idea of the game, but i somewhat learned to live with it. Best of all, it was on sale for like $2, got 25hrs out of it, and had a blast. Great Game!

A lot of heart was put into the original Half Minute Hero, and the same, if not more is present here in its greatly expanded sequel, Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming.

Much like the first game, The Second Coming is a deconstruction of numerous tropes in JRPGs, served on a platter of pseudo puzzle RPGameplay. The lovely level to level based saved the world in 30 seconds formula is back and better, with an overworld acting as level select, but serving as sort of an open world playground that justifies the walking and exploration (absolutely hate unnecessary overworlds in games serving as glorified menus).

Fans of the first game should definitely pick this up and as usual fans of the JRPG genre should too. As the gameplay is pseudo puzzle imo, it might need getting used to realising that not all levels are bash through and clear, rather a bit of thinking is necessary some times.

A full 20 hour RPG with a unique gimmick. The focus on story makes this game very distinct from the first, which is a positive point for me. The story itself is surprisingly nice for a comedy game filled with references to classic JRPGs. Sadly it has its flaws, as the dialogue often drags on for too long and the indoor maps look very simplistic, even for a retro game. Despite that, this game is very fun and I'd recommend it to any JRPG fan, especially if you like Final Fantasy V and VI.

Half Minute Hero leans into its RPG roots here, taking obvious inspiration from the FF titles of old. Builds and develops pretty much all of the concepts and mechanics introduced in the first HMH game, while putting more of a plot up front and centre.

Still very much leaning towards the casual bracket than serious, but Second Coming brings refinement to the fundamental mechanics, while also bringing plenty of new fun and irreverence to the mix. It's worth a play.

PSP版のころにハマってかなりやりこんだゲームです。
昔はやったRPGのストーリーやシーンなどをパロディしていたりかなり豪華なサウンドクリエイターが揃っていたりと、沢山のRPGやゲームを遊んでいる人ほど様々な遊び心に気が付くと思います。
また、こちらのソフトはこの値段で勇者30の初代も遊べます。
普通にプレイしてもそこそこ遊べるのにやりこみ要素がかなりあるので値段対費用のコスパがかなり良いです。
あと攻略本などがないので、自身で色々な発見をできることもかなりこのゲームの強みだと思います。
攻略を見ながらやる最近のプレイヤーよりは手探りで色々やってみるのが好きな人に特にオススメだと思います。

기존 용사30의 게임성을 계승하면서 용사시스템의 볼륨이 더욱 커진 2탄입니다.

전작에 등장했던 반가운 캐릭터들과 아이템들, 귀에 착착감기는 bgm

세컨드 오리지널 캐릭터도 매력적이고 스토리를 밀고 나서도 수집 욕구를 자극해서

이것저것 놓쳤던 부분들을 다시 찾아보는 재미가 있습니다.

또한 전작과 달리 타임 패러독스에 상관없이 얻었던 아이템들과 클래스를 다시 활용할 수 있습니다.

개인적으로는 1탄 보다 더 재밌게 느낀 게임입니다.

勇者30gadgement のチャプター25で、勇者城を使いボスと戦う場面で、ボスへのダメージが入りません。レベル37の状態で何度か挑んだのですが、ダメージが56の時もあれば9の時もあり、バラバラです。youtube上の他人がプレイした動画を見ると100以上ダメージが出ていました。恐らくバグだと思います。これ以降クリア出来ないので、楽しくプレイしていたのにすごく残念です。どうにかしてほしいです。

This is the Second game in the half minute hero series and while it keeps the same fun gameplay loop from the original, it adds a bunch of mechanics on top and makes the levels more complicated the further you get in which in contrast to the original take a bit of practice to finish and are more fun than the original. While the core gameplay remains fun, i cant say that about anything else about the game, the story and dialogue this time around are awful and i do mean completely awful. You can finish a quest and then start reading pages upon pages upon pages of boring mediocre translation which happens every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time you start and finish a quest. Just read the first few lines of dialogue and skip the 10 pages of text afterwards, you're missing nothing.
P.S i found this on the wikipedia page which i found baffling : " Due to the extreme character limits of the game, text was forced to be concise. " (CONCISE MY ASS THAT DIALOGUE NEVER ENDS)

전작에 비해 이번작은 글로벌과 인스턴트로 나뉘어져서 양쪽을 조금씩 다 신경 써야 하는 독특한 시스템이 생겨났다.
또 전투의 진입 방식이 랜덤 인카운트가 아닌 필드에 젠되어 있는 몹과 부딛쳐서 전투로 진입하는 형식인데
레벨이 높아지면 전투없이 바로 몹을 튕겨낼수 있어서 전작과 비슷한듯 다른듯 한 느낌
그래서 쉽지는 않으나 일단 글렙작을 하면 모든 스테이지가 순식간에 뚫리는 마법... 글렙이 깡패임...
또한 장비의 공유가 가능해서 종결템 끼고 초반스테이지로 다시 돌아가 쉽게 밀수도 있다.
이런 특징 때문에 전작 1은 스테이지마다 주어진 퍼즐을 풀면서 30초안에 빠르게 클리어를 노리는 느낌이였다면
2는 레벨업을 하고 장비나 스킬을 파밍해서 클리어를 하는 RPG의 느낌이 크게 느껴짐

스토리 라인은 전편에 비해 개그요소가 많이 빠지고 감동의 비중이 높아졌는데 갓갓 스토리.....
여러분 진짜 스토리 눈물 줄줄 납니다ㅠㅠ

본편을 즐기다가 너무 재밌어서 DLC를 추가 구입했는데 DLC는 메인 스토리와는 전혀 무관한 개그 외전 격의 느낌
DLC를 클리어 하면 아이템 합성으로 인해 사라져버려 다시 얻지 못하는 장비를 재구매가 가능하게 해주는데
이게 DLC의 의의라고 생각하면 될 듯, DLC는 한패가 없습니다.

물론 여기서도 한글패치시 버그가 많아서 올컬렉션이 안되는 것 주의..

멀티 관련 도전과제가 없어서 싱글플레이로도 도전과제 올클이 가능하고
모든 도전과제 올클에 플레이 타임은 3~40시간 걸리는 듯 싶다.

This is a badly made/grindy RPG Maker ripoff (that's right, they tried copying one of the most despised game formats on Steam, only deliberately making it worse). Bash through time trialled RPG combat (why... ugh) and look at hideous retro pixel graphics.

Fortunately for myself and other gamers everywhere who may inadvertently be exposed to this through cheap nasty shovelware game bundles (because let's face it, nobody's mad enough to deliberately buy this rubbish, are they?) the game is buggy and unstable and crashes hard so I have to find and kill the process instead of being forced to try to play it. If the game could be played, you'd see crappy, lazy, low effort, talentless 2D retro pixel graphics, fixed resolution, all the kinds of lazy shortcut indie dev Starbucks baristas think are clever ways to get out of having to know how to make video games.

The ludicrous $10 USD price tag here would get you actual video games like Mordor: Shadow of War or Dragon Age: Origins, so obviously this junk is unrecommendable even if it worked properly.

I don't have a lot of time on record but I played the heck out of the PSP version and the game is mad addicting. It's kind of like a puzzle, trying to min-max every world. The story is funny and there's a lot of quirky scenarios to enjoy, and I liked the different games within.

Half Minute Hero หรือ Yuusha 30 เป็นหนึ่งในเกม PSP ที่ผมชอบมากๆ (ซัดไปสองรอบ PSP ญี่ปุ่นรอบนึง อังกฤษรอบนึง และมาเล่นบน PC นี่รอบที่สามแล้ว) ในภาคแรกนั้นเกมแบ่งเป็น 4 ตอน Hero, Evil Lord, Princess และ Knight

Hero เป็นโหมดหลักของเกม ซึ่งเป็นแนว RPG ซื้อของ เก็บเลเวล สู้มอนสเตอร์ และปราบบอสใหญ่ใน 30 วินาที ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าเราไม่มีทางทำทันได้ ดังนั้นระบบหลักของเกมคือการย้อนเวลาด้วยการบูชาเทพีแห่งกาลเวลา (ซึ่งทุกครั้งเงินจะทวีคูณขึ้นครั้งละ 100G) ซึ่งอะไรที่อยู่กับเราจะย้อนเวลาตามมาด้วย จุดสนุกของตอน Hero คือเป็น RPG แบบกึ่ง Puzzle ที่แต่ละด่านจะมีวิธีชนะที่ผูกกับเวลา บางด่านจะมีภูเขาไฟมาทำลายเมือง ถ้าเราย้อนเวลาแล้วเข้าเมืองทันก็จะได้ของตอบแทน พื้นที่อาจจะเปลี่ยนไปขึ้นอยู่กับเวลา อาวุธลับที่ซ่อนไว้ การเปิดทางแยกไปเส้นทางใหม่ ฯลฯ ซึ่งพวกนี้เราต้องใช้การลองผิดลองถูกถึงจะหาคำตอบที่ถูกต้องได้ รวมทั้งบางด่านก็มีวิธีลับซ่อนอยู่ด้วย หรือถ้าไม่สนเรื่องนั้นจะเล่นแบบ Brute force ด้วยการเก็บเลเวลให้เยอะๆแล้วเข้าไปปราบบอสเลยก็ได้ (แต่บางด่านทำไม่ได้จริงๆ) ส่วน Evil Lord เป็นเกมแนว Startegy ที่ใช้การอัญเชิญสัตว์ประหลาดมาต่อสู้แทนเรา Princess เป็นแนว Shooting 'em up ยิงศัตรู และ Knight เป็นแนวแอ็คชั่นที่ต้องปกป้อง Sage โดยทุกตอนจะผูกกับเวลา 30 วินาที หลังจากเล่นทุกตอนจบแล้วจะเป็นเนื้อเรื่องสุดท้าย Hero 300 ที่จะมีเวลา 300 วินาทีปราบบอสใหญ่เพื่อจบเกม (และด่านแถม Hero 3 ที่ให้เวลาแค่ 3 วินาที) สำหรับ Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy นอกจากจะเพิ่มกราฟฟิคแบบใหม่ (และเพิ่มด่านใหม่ให้ Hero 1 ด่าน เพราะตัดด่านที่ผูกกับ Valhalla Knight) จุดสำคัญคือเกมได้ทำการตัดโหมด Evil Lord, Princess และ Knight สำหรับกราฟฟิคแบบใหม่ออกไป และแทนด้วยแนว RPG สไตล์ Hero แบบด่านเดียวแทน ซึ่งมันก็เมคเซนส์ เพราะตัวละครพวกนี้จะกลับมาใน Hero 300 ซึ่งเล่นเป็น RPG ดังนั้นการให้ผู้เล่นเห็นว่าตัวละครจะเป็นยังไงในโหมด RPG จึงเป็นเรื่องดี และในฐานะที่เล่นมาสองรอบ Evil Lord กับ Knight นี่ออกน่าเบื่อไปหน่อย แต่ถ้ายังอยากเล่นโหมดเก่าก็ไม่มีปัญหา แค่ปรับกราฟฟิคเป็นแบบเก่าก็เล่นได้แล้ว

สำหรับภาคแรกนั้น จุดเสียหลักๆที่หลายคนบ่นกับเกมนี้มีอย่างเดียวคือการโหลด เกมโหลดบ่อยมากโดยเฉพาะเวลาเซฟ (ซึ่งเซฟทุกครั้งเมื่อจบด่านและ PSP ไม่เคยมีปัญหานี้) และเกมบังคับการส่งข้อมูลขึ้น Leaderboard ซึ่งต้องโหลดอีกทำให้เสียอารมณ์ไปพอสมควร

ภาคสอง หรือ The Second Coming นั้นเกมปรับปรุงอย่างมหาศาล เกมยังคงใช้ Pixel Art แบบเดิม (แต่รายละเอียดเยอะขึ้น) ไม่มีโหมดกราฟฟิคแบบใหม่เ แต่ปรับปรุงในแง่ของตัวเกมแทน เกมมีโหมด Hero 30 อย่างเดียว แต่เพิ่มลูกเล่นในการดำเนินเรื่องเข้ามา แทนที่เราจะเลือกด่านแบบภาคแรก ภาคนี้จะใช้เนื้อเรื่องเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนให้เราเข้าสู่ด่านต่างๆ และระหว่างด่านนั้นเราจะได้ฉากเดินอิสระที่เราสามารถซื้อของหรือเยือนหมู่บ้านต่างๆได้โดยไม่มีเวลามาบังคับ และเก็บ Level "พื้นฐาน" และ "เงินกองกลาง" พอเราเข้าด่าน แทนที่เราจะเริ่มที่ Level 1 เราจะเริ่มที่ Level พื้นฐานของเราแทน (แต่เงินจะเริ่มที่ 100G) และเงินที่เราใช้ในการจ่ายเพื่อย้อนเวลาจะได้รับส่วนแบ่งมาให้ในเงินกองกลางเพื่อใช้ซื้อของนอกด่านได้ (เผื่อสำหรับของที่ซื้อไม่ทันในด่าน และของที่ขายเฉพาะนอกด่านเท่านั้น) เมื่อรวมกับการไม่ห้ามนำของเก่าๆไปเล่นในด่านแรกๆ ระบบแบบนี้ทำให้การย้อนมาเล่นด่านเก่าๆเพื่อเก็บ Title นั้นไม่ยากลำบากอะไร เพราะเราสามารถจบด่านได้ง่ายและไวขึ้น (รวมถึงบาง Title บังคับให้ย้อนกลับมาเล่นอยู่แล้ว เพราะไม่สามารถทำได้ในการเล่นครั้งแรก) นอกจากนั้นเกมยังมีระบบย่อยๆอย่างปราสาทเดินได้, Global Dungeon ที่เป็นนดันเจี้ยนเพื่อหาของแล้วต้องหนีออกมาถึงจะได้เก็บของไว้กับตัวได้, เพื่อนร่วมทีมที่สามารถเลือกและปรับตำแหน่งได้ (จากเดิมแค่เรียงหน้ากระดานสู้พร้อมกันและหาได้ตามด่านเท่านั้น แต่ก็เสียความสนุกที่สามารถอัดเพื่อนร่วมทีมเป็นสิบๆคนได้แบบภาคแรก แต่บางด่านให้ทำแบบนั้นได้) และมุขตลกกวนๆอะไรก็สนุกเหมือนเดิม แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญคือเนื้อเรื่องสนุกดี มีตัวละคร 3 คนให้เล่น แต่ละคนก็จะมีเนื้อเรื่องเฉพาะตัวและเพื่อนร่วมทีมต่างกันไป (แต่ถ้าเจอ Time Stone จะวาร์ปเพื่อนร่วมทีมจากตอนก่อนหน้ามาใช้ได้)

แต่ถ้าถามว่ามันดีกว่าภาคแรกมั้ย....ถึงแม้ภาคสองจะปรับปรุงอะไรหลายๆอย่าง แต่ผมกลับชอบภาคแรกมากกว่า ผมไม่ชอบระบบเนื้อเรื่องของภาคสอง เพราะมันทำให้เกมยืด และเพราะมันมีเนื้อเรื่องบังคับ ทำให้มันขาดการเลือกเส้นทางแบบที่ภาคแรกมี ด่านทุกด่านมีวิธีชนะแบบเดียว นอกจากนั้นผมไม่ชอบที่เกมเปลี่ยนจากการเจอศัตรูแบบ Random Encounter มาเป็นการเห็นศัตรูเป็นตัวๆแทน เพราะเกมนี้ไม่ใช่ JRPG ปกติ ที่บางทีขี้เกียจสู้ แต่เกมนี้เราต้องสู้เรื่อยๆเพื่อเก็บเงินและ Level การให้ศัตรูออกมาเดินแบบนี้ ทำให้เวลาเราสู้หมด เราต้องกลับเข้าเมืองและออกมาใหม่เพื่อให้ศัตรู Respawn ทำให้ขาดความต่อเนื่องและเสียเวลาในการ Farm และการมี Hero 30 ถึง 80 กว่าด่านอย่างเดียวนั้นออกจะน่าเบื่อไปหน่อย ภาคแรกมีประมาณ 140 ด่าน (เพราะด่าน Hero มีเส้นทางให้เลือกทำให้ด่านเยอะขึ้น) แต่ถูกแบ่งเป็น 4 โหมด ทำให้เกมมันมีความแปลกใหม่ดี (ถึงแม้ Evil Lord กับ Knight ออกจะน่าเบื่อไปหน่อยก็เหอะ) แต่ไม่ได้หมายความว่าภาคสองไม่ดีนะ มันดี แค่ไม่เท่าภาคแรก

Half-Minute Hero จัดเป็นหนึ่งในเกมที่ Underrated ระดับนึง เพราะเกมสนุกมากแต่ไม่ค่อยมีคนพูดถึงก็ถ้าใครชอบเกมแปลกๆแต่สนุก เกมนี่คือใช่เลย

Not much different than the first one but does have more graphics and a bit more replayability in a way, anndd. Also, has lots of misc. references to games like Chrono Trigger, which for a TIME-related game is wonderful. Essentially you run around leveling up real quick to take out mini bosses through the whole game, and get items along the way. You get some choices between some basic classes and skills. You run through each mini-boss dungeon with just 30 SECONDS but you have a goddess that will rewind time for you just like the first game. From a playability factor for casual gamers, there is about 20 to 30 hours of content at most, for speed-runners/perfectionists up to 50+ hours of playability. Some other fun things like multiplayer and kind of a "survival" mode as well to add a bit more time on to that. I WOULD recommend it and the story mode is pretty fun(albeit the middle part was rather weak.). All and all, i'd give it a 7/10.

Not feeling this sequel.

The long, overly drawn out dialog and on linear-on-rails feel of the mission design doesn't mix well with the fast-paced, 30 seconds to win it, gameplay. And while all the dialog scenes are skippable, so was all the dialog in the first game. The simple story in the first game was a lot more enjoyable and I didn't feel compelled to skip any of it the first time around--only on subsequent playthroughs and while replaying the missions.

I wanted to recommend this I really did but it just pales in comparison to the first one. The first one was basically 6? Games wrapped into 1 (30 second hero/evil/knight/princess/full and 3 second hero) each had a different play style which kept the game engaging. This game is a solid game but if you played the first it is only 30 second hero and that's it... I've made it through 3 out of 6(?) chapters of the game and it's just so repetitive that it's boring and grindy now. This game is fun, for about 4 hours after that it's just wash rinse repeat. Play the first one instead if you want a really good half minute hero game.

Fun little game. Maybe a bit on the bloated side. It certainly could have done with some editing and streamlining here and there.
And overall it was quite easy (except the stupidly impossible 3second mode that unlocks after the main game - for that you must need reflexes or a ninja). But it definitely upheld and expanded on the spirit of the original, and it keeps that same level of humour locked in throughout. Recommended for you want some mindless entertainment to unwind with - chewing gum for the eyes!
