Lots of guns and a variety of attachments. I find it a great game to loose myself in as there are so many challenges.
The sound effects are excellent and all the guns feel really nice to hold and operate. 10/10 from me!
This game would be 10/10 if it had supported "Steam Cloud Saves" still worth it on a sale.
Gun Club VR Review | Abandonware
Gun Club VR had potential, but it feels like the developers completely walked away from it. The game hasn’t seen meaningful updates in years, and what’s left is a barebones shooting gallery that never evolved. No new content, no bug fixes, no modern VR improvements it’s stuck in time while other VR shooters have left it in the dust.
At launch, it was decent for testing out realistic gun mechanics, but without ongoing support, it now feels more like a tech demo than a finished product. Multiplayer? Nonexistent. Campaign depth? Shallow. Community feedback? Ignored. It’s disappointing to see something with a strong foundation rot into abandonware.
If you’re looking for a living, breathing VR shooter with replayability, look elsewhere. Gun Club VR is effectively dead.

To get all the achievements, it'll take you about 19 hours. If you get the game in a sale for like, £4, then that's not bad value for money. Choosing your favourite gun and then shooting targets is a nice bit of fun that doesn't need extreme focus or anything. However, there's the main progression, and then the secondary, allied progression. By the time you finish the pistol, smg, shotgun, rifle, action, and zombie ladders, doing that all a second time does start to feel grindy. You don't really unlock anything different, either. You're not restricted to world war 2 era stuff, so in theory you could just buy 5 guns, never use anything else, and finish every level. If you are buying everything, around that time you're just kinda purchasing the last 3 or 4 weapons that are just expensive reskins. $350,000 for the reaper p90 that I'll never use was kinda annoying. I kept replaying the last shotgun level to grind $7k payouts until I could buy it, the levels before that got me to about $280k, so it could've been worse.
The sandbox mode was fun, I would sit there with a psg-1 and just snipe bottles aiming to get the achievement but it actually felt pretty zen to just chill. Opening a menu and spawning them all one by one was kinda tedious but nothing's perfect. Overall, just don't burn yourself out achievement hunting. Boot it up when you fancy shooting a couple things.

Seine Waffen zu Stylen gibt den ganzen noch einen Feinschliff. Ausrüsten mit was man will ist auch möglich von der Taschenlampe bis zum Laserpointer den man sogar farblich ändern kann. Auch das halten der Waffen mit ein oder zwei Händen wirkt unheimlich realistisch. Ich habe das Pistolen Level abgeschlossen, Jetzt ist die Schrotflinte dran. Da ist das Nachladen schon eine kleine Herausforderung.
Würde ich es weiter empfehlen? Ja, auf jeden Fall!

Retired Marine Corps here, former infantryman and Iraq War vet. There are quite a few weapons in here that I'm intimately familiar with in real life, and not one of them feels right in this game. The MP5 feels comically huge while the Beretta 92 feels tiny and slim, the M1897 feels stick thin, the M67 frag is too small and the Mk 2 pineapple is way too big. After learning how to deal with the clunky-ass controls and playing with the surprisingly small number of guns (there were a few cool ones, but why so many versions of the P90?) I rebuilt the rifle I did my last rifle qual with, an M16A4 with ACOG, but when I sighted in the reticle was all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong, and in that moment I realised this game was made by people who don't actually know anything about guns.
Edit: the reason I bought this in the first place was because Google said it has the M202 FLASH, but apparantly the M202 FLASH is part of the Heavy Weapons DLC, which is not available on Steam.

But you cannot change the horizontal angle offset of the gun/controller. For pistol type weapons this seems to be out of alignment with the reality for a Quest 3 (look at your physical Quest 3 controller in hand and position represented in the HMD).
Even so, I do recommend to get this when it is on sale for 75% or more. Maybe other controllers/headsets do not have this issue.
this is awful. i thought some comments were being harsh at first.. until i picked up a gun and realised its about 10 inches from being aligned with my hand your body follows your head so if you dare look down to grab ammo or your gun it slowly floats away from you making it take 10 times as long to complete a level. and also levels why are there level and a exp and cash system all they did here was turn a phone game into a REALLY bad vr game nothing works as it should the guns arnt even realistic... over half my time in this game trying to fix the stupid decisions in setting .. DO NOT BUY THIS "GAME"

I own this game on PS5 PRO VR2, where I paid !9.95 or so for it, maybe £17, it's not important. I have checked this breifly using my Valve Steam Press Account Key, and verified that it has the same problems on both platforms.
This game is not bad, it's ameturish, and it's not the game or the developers fault that customers are having these problems. It's Windows System Security. I can tell you how to play your game, and it's going to cost you about 50 bux. You need a hardware security passkey, I have chose a Yubikey but am not sure if it's a pure fix yet.
The devs, and you are all targeted by hackers. Thier hobby after scamming, and probablky to bring eope in involves intruding into civilian systems and causing havok.
This is special, because you probably bought this because you have a gun, and the grave tells no tales.
I am an ex loudmouthed journalist who was forced from the industry, and at a system security university before that, where I pounded girls inste4ad of books, and I guess they were vinegary. So I've had this since database class at UMIST, where I came up with my password in labs LOL.
The failure of the devs is they have not locked up enough of the software with constants, and are relying on variables.
This is the sequence:
You buy the game, you load the game, the game says hello to a bunch of online services, some of which are obviously plaintext or reveal IP information.
A scripted bot records your IP and starts watching for the games ports to become available.
As soon as your game goes online your computer goes up on thier server list, probably with a bunch of information on how to make you cry and things most likely to get you to perform acts. Likley similar to the scripts used in call centers. This allows experience and power to anyone who wishes to play seriously.
The attacking system scans your memory like a cheatcart for a gameboy or other cart console, and extracts all the variables. This allows them to change grip paramaters, position of your gun, direction bullets fly etc, and every malfunction you can imagine because:
Experienced skript kiddie sadists have a scripting language, and when they find someone worthwhile they create automated script games. In grand tourismo 7 enemy players can push and spin my car in specific pre scripted situations. Every day all day every game. Sony are well aware, and my gt7 replays have started to be renamed end of the world in japanese, so someone is a bit upset. I mean in my account, my saved replays, that i cannot rename. Japan is upset.
For you get a hardware key and the game will be fine but probably a bit amateurish. it seems overly ambitious honestly, but i think it's fine.

The controls are inconstant and crap. The guns are fun, but just on the frustration of the UI, returning this game.
Jeu de stand de tir non traduit, c’est dommage car il y a plein d’options que je ne comprends pas.
Il est assez réaliste, il faut mettre le chargeur et armer avant de pouvoir tirer. Mais, le buste avance quand on regarde vers le bas, le holster est trop haut même réglé au plus bas, attraper une arme à 2 main sur le devant du gilet est un défi, les tenir à 2 mains est un réel désavantage, pour engager la 1ère balle la main attrape l’arme au lieu du levier d’armement, c’est dommage, à part pour mettre un chargeur la 2e main ne sert à rien.
La position de l’arme n’est pas exacte par rapport à la position réel, donc je tire en noscope, ou avec plusieurs lasers car de jour ils ne sont vraiment pas assez puissant. C’est aussi assez frustrant lorsqu’on voit la trace d’une balle passez par une cible qu’elle ne soit pas touchée (le pire que j’ai vu c’est 3 trainée sans toucher !).
Le jeu est globalement facile, 40 niveaux de base par type d’armes je trouve ça trop, revenir à des niveaux faciles qui ne donnent même pas 1000$ lorsqu’on a plus d’1M c’est une perte de temps.
Le tutoriel est dans le sandbox, pourquoi ? Et sur 4 positions pour découvrir le fonctionnement du jeu, il y en a 2 qui sont bugguées, on ne peut rien faire à part quitter le tuto. D’ailleurs, dans la salle de missions, si l’on va regarder le magasin d’armes, le menu des missions ne répond plus, il faut retourner sur la page d’accueil et recharger le profil.
C’est répétitif avec une difficulté grandissante, sympa pour se divertir malgré tous ces bugs.

Decent variety of real world weapons, it's just a weapon sandbox/firing range challenge simulator. Lot of my favorite firearms are in this game so I give it a bonus for that.
Отвратительное кривое управление, постоянные баги с меню и перемещением. Пушек много, крутить в руках их одно удовольствие, но вот когда доходит дело до стрельбы, то тут начинается ад. В целом идея стрельбы по мишеням не сильно возбуждает. Любой простенький зомби-шутер будет и то приятнее в плане стрельбы.

Get this game the second you have a VR! its great, could use better models for zombies, etc. but still, customizing weapons is great, fun, unlocking new modes, just wish the settings were more customizable.

I have yet to find the VR gun game that truly makes holding a long gun with two hands feel good or aim correctly without making you contort your arms at weird angles, and this game is no exception; but at least the pistol physics are absolutely top-notch in this title. Fairly realistic recoil, and using iron sights on a handgun here works every bit as well as it does in real life. Long guns and scopes might feel like a janky mess (still fun, just not very immersive), but you don't really need them with a good handgun.

It feels pretty good to ace these training drills, like I'm a skilled assassin, out at the practice range keeping my skills up to par. Graphics are nice, seems like plenty of unlockable weapons and upgrades, runs smooth and stable. $20 is pretty steep for the content here, so get it on sale! I paid less than $5, and it's certainly worth that. Thumbs: UP!

Complete garbage. If you would like to replicate this experience without using any money, you could oil yourself up in olive oil and try to grab and hold on to soap bars while blindfolded. This is pure frustration and in no imaginable way fun.
Perhaps it was made for different headsets. If you have a Quest 3 this is worthless.

Fun shooter, just stand in place and turn around and shoot. sometimes duck. tons of weapons and mods for those weapons some make sense some don't. plenty of fun if you don't have too many other shooters.
Good weapon mix and unlock rate. money and unlocks felt good for timing.

По большому счету игра представляет собой некий тир, где вам необходимо отстреливать плоские мишени в разных вариациях и режимах. По мере прохождения получайте валюту и покупайте на неё новые стволы, улучшения и обвес к ним. Стволы выглядят красиво, выстрелы ощущаются очень даже хорошо. У каждого оружия реалистичная перезарядка, где вам нужно вынуть магазин, достать новый, вставить его и дернуть затвор. Обвесы вы так же можете устанавливать вручную, что тоже довольно приятно. Вообщем взаимодействие с оружием на +5. Но минусов у игры не меньше. Во первых забагованная ходьба, которая работает только исходя из вашего изначального положения и не учитывает положение камеры. У игры 3-4 режима, хоть и пытались разнообразить, но они довольно быстро надоедают, но это еще ерунда. Главный минус - это то, что игра не делает скидку на то, с каким оружием вы выходите. Условно взяв какой нибудь пистолет - вас поставят перед мишенями довольно близко и с пистолетом играть удобно, но взяв снайперскую винтовку игра поставит вас на тоже самое расстояние, где со снайперкой будет крайне неудобно и зачем она тогда нужна в игре? Взаимодействие с оружием хоть и разное, у них разные звуки, отдача и импакт от выстрела, но по большому счету разницы особой и нет, ведь урон в игре особо не решает, от чего многие стволы становятся ненужными, а для высокой эффективность нужно выбирать оружие, которое будет легче всего перезарядить(дробовики же и вовсе бесполезные). В целом игра то хорошая, но другие моменты. помимо взаимодействия с оружием, тоже не помешало бы доработать.

I went into this game with the past experience of the phone game, and it was really disappointing. I was certain it's gonna be as much fun as it was on the phone, maybe even more fun, however, I quickly realized it wasn't going to be that way. The game has many unused(?) and or unimplemented mechanics.
My biggest grief was the sniper levels, being that it wasn't even in the game. I should make it clear, sniper levels do exist in the Axis mode, however, the warehouse section has been deleted (Context: I remember there being warehouse sniper sections in the phone game, you would aim at windows on the side of a big building to shoot targets, and I really hope I remember correctly).
I think if you want to buy a VR experience for guns and stuff, look no further than "Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades". It has a wider selection of more realistic guns, free modding, customization and more!
I ain't american, so this is the closest I can get to a gun range sim (It's kinda arcadey but fun). Get it on sale.

Graphics is awful. Gameplay is just shooting guns at a gun range. The guns point at a weird angle so you have to twist your wrist at a weird angle which isn't fun. It doesn't have enough tutorial. It lets you buy upgrade but doesn't tell you it doesn't apply to your gun. So I wasted my in game money. It attached the scope at the bottom of the gun. WTF.

Anything that requires two hands to hold feels really clunky and aiming down sights or scopes is nigh impossible.
However the game was still lots of fun, especially the zombie mode.
Finally, a VR game I really enjoy!
I wanted a game to play while I am on my exercise bike, and I kind of like shooting games. This one is simple, but really fun. It feels unpretentious, as if it isn't trying too hard to be "edgy" or "cool", which has annoyed me about some of the other games
It has a good level progression, not too easy, but not too difficult either - it doesn't feel unfair, so someone with naturally shaky hands like myself can do well. It feels a bit janky, like all VR shooting games, but it's really easy to vibe with. There's the typical nonsense, such as firing a semi-automatic Saiga 12 with your right hand, while holding up the next magazine with your left. Still, I can't pretend I wasn't having a lot of fun doing that.
People have criticised it for only having cardboard cutouts as targets - while this is true, they're really well designed, especially the zombie ones. It's actually quite nerve wracking as they shamble towards you, and the audio for them is high quality enough to put you in the mood for zombie hunting.
I paid £4 for it on sale, for which it was an absolute bargain. Had I paid full price, though, I would also have been satisfied - it's repetitive, sure, but not too much to its detriment. There's enough variety, quite a lot of content, and a lot of guns.
If you're on the fence, I would encourage you to give it a try - even at full price, you may find it enjoyable. You will certainly be able to tell whether or not it is for you within the two hour refund window.
Probably my favorite VR shooting game. As someone who would love to go to the range but doesn't have the money to spend on ammo or range time, this is wonderful. I've had this through the Oculus store but I've been waiting for a sale because the Steam version lets you spray paint the guns, $5 is amazing for this game. You can even add your own image in the spray paint can: MEANING YOU CAN FULLY CUSTOMIZE YOUR GUNS. How much hidden fruit can you find out on the ranges?

But there is alot room for improvements!
- No AntiAliasing and there is alot of aliasing in this game!
Also Supersampling doesnt really improve aliasing.
- Performance is bad for how it looks and compared to other games!
- Overall handling of weapons etc. feels clunky
- Settings often get lost, reset themself etc.
For a 2018 release it really is not bad but ... in 2024 i can not recommend it in its current state.
Does what it says on the tin, a perfectly serviceable gun-*range* simulator. Emphasis on the *range* aspect, because the only things you'll be shooting besides wooden static targets will be randomly scattered fruit. Recoil is nearly non-existent on the weapons already, but with attachments (that can be easily bought when all the missions can be plat-star'ed in 1-2 tries), they essentially become laser-beams that make gun sounds,
Still, fun enough to shoot straight and do it quickly. Feels like what most mobile game adverts lie about what they offer with their gameplay.
Its cheap, sterile fun. Pay whatever price you feel matches that type of product, even if that means a deep sale. Somewhere in the McDonalds sandwich range for me, personally.

This has a fun soft spot for me, Sure H3VR is a common point of comparison: the two are gun range games in VR from around the same point time. Still, there are some points to consider that contrast the two as well.
H3 has worlds that are large, complicated experiences and some arcade qualities in some scenarios, whereas this game is an incremental progress arcade game. You begin with a simple pistol and accrue funds from gameplay, you have to earn new accessories which are universally usable if not applicable such as rails, grips, lights, dots, and more - as well as collect upgrades per weapon, such as magazine sizes, speedloaders, and ammunition types. Across dozens of weapons for a few types of weapons, the collection aspect is tangible.
Another point is that the mission types are varied- there are shotgun courses, pistol courses, and so on. These missions start easy enough to onboard you to a new weapon type but are will grow in difficulty.
Overall, a good pick to get someone into VR. It gives growth, progression, and a safe and slow descent into gunplay in VR settings. I picked it up originally on the Oculus store years ago and picked it up on steam somewhat recently as buying on Oculus is a bit of a pain, but it is worth noting it does support standalone mode for quest users - just without weapon painting.

Gun Club VR is a gun range simulator. Not much to say about it, it has guns, you shoot the guns..... it has zombies. I mean it does have different ranges like a target range, an assault range, sandbox, and..... zombies. Nice array of weapons, attachments, and upgrades. The VR is kind of jank. The vr hotspots on the guns are finicky, making it hard to reload the gun, or even holding the gun. It's fine, the guns shoot well. Okay VR game.

Pros:
has some good mechanics for practicing real life weapon skills, better than a lot of alternatives.
has zombies mode for intense frantic fun.
Cons:
I have own this game awhile and put in 20 hours or so prior to the release of the DLCs. I unlocked and customized many of the available guns. Nearly all of the guns I unlocked and customized have been retroactively taken away after the implementation of the DLC and locked behind the pay wall.
bug support: prior to the DLCs I had a issue where one of the holsters just stopped working for me and it endured through many updates. I had sought help from their discord after many hours of frustrating troubleshooting. I revived no real help and was quickly dismissed.
DLC: much of the games content that used to be free and unlock-able is now pay-walled.

Good game if you just wana shoot target dummies or you aren't that into guns becuase all of the known guns are stuck behind a DLC and I hate the sound and physics of the guns.

It's decent enough for such an old game, there are a LOT of stages, but they are all the same - you shoot at paper cut out targets; sometimes they run towards you, sometimes they shoot back at you, sometimes you lose if you shoot them.. that's about it. The gun handling, variety and mods are solid. Get it on sale if you're out of semi-realistic gun titles. Oh and as usual: before you buy check the global achievements; the warehouse and allied missions achievements are under 1% completion. These 2 areas have about 80-100 "stages" across 3 different level types; what the game doesn't tell you - to get the silver/gold/plat achievements you need to play each stage with each weapon type.. it's convoluted BS way to make you keep playing the same levels again and again. With a fairly simple "sandbox" mode, a level editor and level sharing would have kept the longevity of this game rather than the forced achievement hunting grind.

- Your vest is lagging a lot, does not move with your body properly
- Browsing items is highly inefficient and annoying, especially the animated in-game store
- No option to compare the weapon stats?
- Accessories are very expensive and can buy only 1 piece per item (game warns you in red letters that it is used on another weapon already. But it seems you can equip only 1 weapon at a time, so no problem here, but then why the warning?)
- No real help for accessory pre-requisites, for example: which rails do i need to buy for the AK-47?

- no ingame option to view / change controls
- in real life, you can switch fire mode with a thumb or other finger. Here you need your other hand to do it.
- stock simulation doesnt seem to be working
- stocked weapon handling is off, especially gripping with the other hand, it does not align

Using Quest 3 with the built in meta Air-link, WiFi 6, works flawlessly for me. Better than Desktop VR. Game reloading guns I had no problems like, not finicky or stuttering. Love this game and the mega amount of guns you get. No regrets buying on sale like I did. I find plenty to play with before I will think of buying DLC. I'm using a 1070 graphic card on a old computer and graphics still look cool. Sound I use is Logitech 9000 in conjunction with the headset, you hear the reality of the guns in the sub-woofer. Great fun turned real loud to scare my rotten neighbour that I've gone, Postal 2.

Freie Tage, Wintersale - Zeit, um sich durch verschiedene Spiele zu testen. An diesem hier bin ich inzwischen ein paar Stunden hängen geblieben.
Im Prinzip ein Schießstandspiel, wo Pappfiguren auf einen warten. Es beginnt einfach und statisch, später bewegen sich die Figuren auch. Einfach wild drauf los schießen ist nicht, denn irgendwann kommen Geiseln/Zivilisten dazu. Und diese sollen am Leben bleiben. Schwierigkeit sind hier die Räuber/Terroristen/N.zi-Soldaten, welche sich hinter den Geiseln verstecken. Um ein möglichst gutes Ergebnis zu erzielen, müssen die Bösewichte allerdings beseitigt werden. In einer bestimmten Zeitspanne, mit einer möglichst guten Genauigkeit (man will ja nicht die Geiseln treffen und die Gegner sollen möglichst schnell beseitigt werden). Es gibt Tag- und es gibt Nachtszenen.
Je nachdem was man auswählt, reichen die Level von 1 bis 15/20/40. Je nach Waffe die man benutzt, sind die Durchgänge etwas anders gestaltet.
Im "Warehouse"-Modus, sowie auch im "Alied"-Modus gibt es einen Zombieteil. Im ersten tragen diese hauptsächlich lange Haare und sehen aus wie verstörte Metal-Fans (vermutlich wurden sie gezwungen Helene Fischer zu hören, dann würde ich auch nur noch so durch die Gegend laufen), im Alied-Teil kommen sie dann als Soldaten-Zombies daher. Für mich die einfachsten Teile, man kann im Prinzip nicht viel falsch machen, muss nur schnell sein.
Waffen gibt es eine ganze Menge, man kennt viele aus anderen Spielen (CS, LFD) - PSG1, M16, Uzi, M9, USP45, Famas, AK47, ACR... Unterteilt in die Bereiche: Pistols (um die 30 Modelle), SMG's (25), Shotguns (um die 10), Assault Riffles (ca. 15), Snipers (auch ca 15 verschiedene).
Interessant finde ich hier die Handhabung, eben im Vergleich zu den nicht VR-Spielen. Die AK47 war für mich immer eine Waffe, die eher ruppig wirkte. Hier in diesem Spiel, in VR, aufgewertet mit allem möglichen Zubehör, hat man schließlich eine butterweiche Waffe, die man kaum noch hört. Ebenso die M16. Eine absolute Höllenmaschine, aber sehr leise und "leicht" mit dem entsprechenden Zubehör. Auch sieht man hier in VR sehr gut, wie die Munition sich verteilt, wie schnell, wie genau, wie weit, wie sehr "zitternd"/stabil. Würde mich jetzt interessieren, inwieweit die Waffen realistisch nachgestellt wurden. Andererseits will man gar nicht weiter darüber nachdenken, was das für die Realität bedeutet.
Wer Freude an Achievments hat und nicht stundenlang Zeit damit verschwenden will, sich zu fragen, was man übersehen hat... Die Bronze/Silber/Gold/Platin-Errungenschaften bekommt man nur, wenn man "Warehouse" und "Alied" jeweils mit allen Waffenkategorien durchspielt. Also nicht mit jeder einzigen Waffe die es im Spiel gibt, sondern jeweils einmal mit irgendeiner oder mehreren Pistolen (und nur Pistolen), einmal alles mit SMG, einmal alles mit Shotgun, Assault Riffle und in "Alied" auch noch einen Sniper-Durchgang. Einmal alles mit Pistole auf silber/gold/Platin haben reicht also nicht.
