Около 10 лет назад я начал играть в эту тогда еще прекрасную игру. Какой же кайф был общаться с людьми, торговать, заниматься фермерством, участвовать в минииграх. Но в настоящий момент игра мертва. Отправной точкой стала покупка игры Ubisoft. Они совершенно не следят за ней, только максимально пытаются выкачивать деньги с игроков, которых уже не так много осталось. Раньше, если ты заходил на какой-нибудь популярный мир, он был весь полон и чат разрывался от сообщений НАСТОЯЩИХ людей. Сейчас картина очень печальная: из 70к онлайна ~69к это боты. Миры пусты, только одни спамеры. В рандомных мирах одни боты c читами, которые ломают миры под очередное казино. Самое парадоксальное, что активностей в гровтопии все так же куча, но без игроков это не имеет смысла. Разработчики как-будто не видят проблемы и игнорят возмущения игроков, очень жаль. Для меня эта игра навсегда останется теплыми воспоминаниями в памяти, спасибо @Hamumu и @Seth за детство...
Mods are corrupt, banned me after 12 years of playing and spending over 1000 euro on in app purchases. I won a 500 bgl bid for rare items against a mod ♥♥♥♥ rider called: Disenchantment and got perma banned seconds before completing the trade. Don't get too invested into the game, everyone is against you. Mods dont care to review your ban appeals even if you have full screen recorded evidence that you did nothing wrong. Support gives you AI copy paste slop with no valuable information and no reasoning on why you have been banned.

Playing on the official servers now is a pain. Frequent lags, duplication glitches, false bans, bots and casinos everywhere, IAPs giving you more and more with every month, which makes them worthless in the end. We are at the point of no return, this is not the same game we all used to play.
If your conclusions are the same as mine, then I have a solution for you. There's an oldschool growtopia private server that you can play on RIGHT NOW. No bots, no IAPs, no casinos, no lags. It also has some extra custom content that matches the oldschool vibe, which you will definitely like!

This game is horribly scripted you need to log in so many times, sometimes it doesnt even let you. So many bots nowadays. The game is only good to sell in game items for money. This game is probably the perfect reason why ubisoft is no longer billion dollar company.

PC version is horrible. The log in options are not showing at all, so i can't get past the start menu. About 8 years ago it worked just fine, nowadays it's unplayable on pc.

most of the time the server is overloaded by 95000+ player online, and guess what? 90% of that number are all bot floating everywhere hacking and spamming casino world. i cant even login bcs of this, pls fix this ASAP
Worst game ever. Dont even start playing it. You cant even go in to the game and play 2 minutes before you are kicked out due to many on the server. Bots everywhere, its chaos. Scammers and hackers everywhere. And they ban you sometimes for no reason.

Et bien, après avoir été très hypé et après avoir installé ce jeu, nous n'avons hélas pas pu jouer. Quelle déception sur ce jeu alors qu'on attendait rien de spécial.
Difficile à dire si ce jeu est bon ou non, puisqu'il ne se lance pas.
La vie est parsemée parfois de moments délicats, comme lorsqu'on se retrouve dans des toilette d'autoroutes et qu'il n'y a plus de papier pour nettoyer la cuvette avant de déposer dessus son magnifique fessier.
Ce jeu est un de ces moments.
