been around since 2022 and this game is going nowhere it feels the same as the last time i played it in 2023 ai is either stupid or has esp and aimbot and not its not a skill issue i play tons of games like these arma ready or not etc its very unpolished and i dont think this game will ever make it to 1,0 as of playing server where dead could of been because i was on late at night but there where no eu servers so im assuming this game is pretty much dead update i hop back on mid day and yeah its still dead dont buy this just buy ready or not this is hot steaming garbage fps slop it was good 4 years ago but with the newer games on the market in this genre just not worth it. if you like larping as a commando its ok for that

I can't recommend this game with a straight face, it was announced more than a decade ago and it's still a glorified tech demo.
It has cool customization and it's fun as a terrorist hunt game with friends, but it's so damn disappointing how many features that were announced ages ago are still nowhere to be seen.

игра сделана приятно графика кастомизация стрельба но найти с кем поиграть мне не удалось хотя я старался, ру сообщество похоже мертво, застал сервера только англоязычные в основном пве, к тому же как я понял спавны ботов здесь рандомные только отчасти и сделаны в виде пресетов которые будут повторяться и заметил это не один я, если это действительно так то тогда понятно почему люди не задерживаются в этой игре к этому еще добавляется малое количество карт, есть воркшоп но карты там тоже не клепают, крч красиво но статично

Ground Branch - A Slow Burn Worth Every Update
When I first bought Ground Branch, it ran like it had a fever on my system. Unplayable. But I kept it around, and update by update, patch by patch, the devs quietly turned it around. Four updates later and this thing runs smooth. My PC especially loves it on DX12, so if you're on an mid-tier rig, do yourself a favor and flip that switch.
About a week ago I finally dove into mods, new missions, new maps, and that's when Ground Branch fully clicked for me. The lone wolf ops experience is genuinely tense and satisfying in a way that scratches a very specific tactical itch. My only real wish? AI teammates with the depth of Ready or Not pre-censorship. The bones are there for something special in that department.
Bottom line: if you enjoy deep weapon and gear customization, this is an automatic plus for you. Buy it. The devs are transparent, consistently communicating what they're working on and what's coming, and that kind of developer-player trust goes a long way.
Patience pays off with Ground Branch. It paid off for me.

An sich cooles game. Gute Mechanik, gute Optik, Spieler und Waffen anpassbar.
Aber keine Missionen. Die wurden einfach deaktiviert. Ohne Info wann und ob die wieder kommen.
Man kann nur PvP oder Deathmatch-Modi gegen Bots spielen.

Keine fertigen Geisel, Bombenentschärfung oder ähnliche Missionen.

Schade.

Long story short if you have ever watched or played Ready Or Not, this is a more Military based version while still having some urban or city style missions. It has better customization in my opinion especially when it comes to uniform. Maps, Missions, Guns, Uniforms, Gear, Community, ect is all great no downsides in my view.

It's been years and there still isn't really an actual game to play, it's more of a tech demo for a really in-depth gunplay and gear customization system which is sold at way too high of a price for what it offers. The modding community isn't really that active in adding user content either, it's more or less *almost* entirely just the same old gear and gun mods.

Its alright, development is slow, very but the game does work enough. If you want to have more of a sandbox sorta tactical sorta not shooter this is okay, get on sale I dont think its quite worth the money- yet.
The customization is lacking but also not, it has enough stuff that most people would be happy I suppose but its lacking some more specific stuff like .40 pistols or 10mm pistols. BUT it does have mod support and some stuff is on there, but a lot of stuff breaks on updates so kinda sucks too.
It also doesn't have thermals which would be quite handy, at least on a binocular or range finder but I understand it would be a bit more annoying to implement due to its quirks and obv is on the to do list. I also suggest adding the dual combination/fused version vision mode goggles Thermal+Night Vision, you can both use separate monocles and there is actual equipment that combines and overlays it I believe even with visible light.

The core issues with the game just comes to being unfinished, despite it being "realistic" its not really yet. Its a shooter where the guns feel good enough and they hit as you'd expect yet putting aside the AI needing to be improved and IS being worked on, the character just feels to clunky in close spaces or in cover(this is an issue with a lot of tactical shooters to be fair). Just to go over some ire parts and spitball idealist additions I'd like to see:
Leaning is awkward and long guns dont quite work well as they wall bump too much despite being reasonable clearance. To put it as blunt as possible, if the game had Tarkov's character advance stances (like lying on your side), adjustable stance and adjustable slow walk ect it would feel a lot better (especially since the guns do feel considerably better than tarkov). Combined with the free lean seen in tactical shooters and if ground branch could add a more automated kinda "I know what your trying to do" system for using weapons in confined spaces where it will automatically position your weapon a bit more outward to shoot around corners or if your trying to aim through a window rather than awkward shuffling to get your gun forward when moments really matter.
Another option to allow you to stick your arm through small cracks using single hand throwables/droppables would be good too. Tossing a chemlight out a window or a frag as a dedicated mechanic could be handy(most tactical shooters just hope you thread the need with a your throw, this is just silly). Maybe a free hand mode where you can control your arm and hand would be ideal, so you could manually stick your hand through a stair's railing and release it into the starwell to have it fall all the way down to the ground floor ect. Maybe make this compatible with mags (to drop ammo to allies) too.
Something to prevent enemies from being in the far corners of the map at least where it makes sense, its not only annoying but just unrealistic. Maybe a police sniper kills any enemies that sits nearby for too long ect, realistically they should just not wander there. At the least they should be marked on the tablet.
Speaking of which, Huds are now realistic with modern equipment so having the ability to see objectives, pings and allies but only if you use special scopes and goggles/smart helmets(IVAS) that... well have it. Not a high priority but this is being phased into the military. But if your going to add it, make sure to have it linked to drones too. Think Ghost recon advanced warfighter. Letting players have a corner overview of the map (assuming enemies haven't shot down a deployable drone, which presumes you'll add those too) to watch entrances as a solo player while clearing large buildings is REALLY unique and becoming a reality.
Also if we can get camos and equipment to make a "camo index at home" that would be neat, IE ghille suits make you blend better outdoors slightly but penalize you indoors. You get the idea, once again not a priority.
Also more flexibility and the amount of what can be carried, multiple pistols for example. Why not allow pants to hold ammo or stuff too? ect ect.(at least for lone wolf) If I want to have 3 pistols, 3 primaries from the start let me. IE: maybe I want an MP7(or say a mp5k) as my secondary then let me. If I want 30 frags then let me somehow. You get the idea.
Also doors are so janky its unreal, have more power for agape doors to shove physics props/bodies out the way a bit easier if you sprint into it. Or make the door peek hold mouse the entire time rather than having to essentially scroll wheel slowly shove the door open. AI also gets stuck on a lot of doors too, even they hate how the doors currently work.
That ends my wishes for "realism",

As for stuff I want:
An option to enable weapon presents that have clipping attachments, I want to make atrocities. Also not impractical because some set ups would work IRL but are denied because game said 2 things that are not clipping are.. apparently.
When ammo types get added, the ability to make mixed mags (ex: APHC > HP > standard, repeat until last 5 rounds which I'd set as tracers)
Speaking of which, consider adding sabot or even HE ammo for small arms (niche but they exist, as seen with the first gun below).
Likely a cost loadout system, to balance objectively better gear but that is a super future thing, but this could be handy for gamemodes or custom matches.

Weapons I want (note mods are not reliable and break on updates, but a few exist for these):
-CBJ-MS, niche gun and sabot ammo but should be pretty cool.
-MP9
-more pocket pistol or spy-inspired pistols maybe with the ability to carry them in pants pockets or rig pouches rather than the holster?,
-.40 caliber pistols(a Kahr K40 too),
-Welrod (likely a modern variation one) and the Izhmekh PB, 9x18mm (maybe give them realistic wipers that are "fully silent" for first 10-15 shots~ since your changing suppressor mechanics)
-de lisle carbine
-5.7 and p90,
-Walther p99,
-Full-Conceal M3D Glock 19 or "foldy-glock" (bit of a flavor one, but its a cool variation that you could have fit into pockets or pouches rather than a holster with a draw put away speed penalty),
-MP 443 grach,
-H&K vp70, with its stock to enable hyperburst
-speaking of hyperburst, AN94 and G11
-gsh-18,
-357 python + a couple law enforcement/undercover revolvers,
-WW2 weapons still around to this day being used like Kar98k/Mosin(Type Hanyang 88 is a niche cool looking bolt action too not sure if its used but apparently warlords collect it), Mp40/Stengun/PPSH-41/Thompsons, stg44s(this could be really fun and decent), literally any factions heavy MGs, ect.
-XM16E1/M16a1
-Anti-Material rifles, Barrett is obvious but also add the XM82A2 bullpup one because that would be funny.
-SRS72, .338 Lapua
-Less serious and obviously very rare but the Gyrojet pistol would be fun, should fairly high damage and technically the gun itself is dead silent but the ammo does have a low noise it makes. Likely it would do a lot of damage on hit, but damage would be horrid under 8 yards and still weaker under 21 yards. You can probably just have it considered normally suppressed where they know they are being shot at but cant pinpoint the location (good enough).Horrible accuracy though.

As for special equipment:
-Drones, both flying and ground based. For bomb defusal, implement working bomb squad drone (huge defuse speed penalty). Allow attaching/holding of explosives for them. With the new AR tech ofc let player's see through/cycle their cameras to be in corner of screen.
-XM25, nuff said underrated gem of a grenade launcher and being able to airburst enemies in cover (maybe with less lethal options) would be neat
-This ones a bit crazy but, 'M86 pursuit deterrent munition', this automatic deploying grenade mine just doesn't exist in games or really anywhere in media but its a thing, we apparently use it. Toss and forget, ♥♥♥♥ that doorway and whoever walks through it.

The devs of this game are not doing good work whatsoever. The AI feels like John Wick 99% of the time, and you cannot figure out how to accomplish objectives. The gameplay loop is generally boring (much of it is sitting around and doing nothing but observing, only to then get shot in the headshot from some dude sitting across the map). I honestly wish I could refund this game. They think they can keep getting away with low quality gameplay and design by keeping this garbage in perpetual early access. Ready or Not does it so much better and these guys can take notes

I've been playing since the game was on Gumroad. This is the tactical equivalent of Exanima. That is to say, it's the quintessential tactical shooter, the shining example of how to do it right within the genre, and also it's been in dev a VERY long time, but still gets consistent, if sparse, updates.

This is the first game I buy for my friends whenever one moves from console to PC, besides Left 4 Dead 2.

Ground Branch has been in development for a long time but I can safely say it has come a long way. In the nishe of tactical shooters (real ones, not R6S-like) this is a game I always come back to every now and then. The AI Coop is decend but PvP has been my go to. The tactical barbie aspect is quite advaned and enjoyable, and with a very active modding scene there is always some new gear to try.
Now they've added mission scenarios (one so far) and it was probably the best experience I had with my mates.

Spend hours customizing operator and gun
Use Pkm against terrorist and throw frag grenades in every room before entering
Steal guns from terrorists cause I didn't bring enough magazines for my Pkm
Die to a hidden npc

Jogo bom de mais, embora tenha apenas 11 horas de game já deu para brincar um pouco, as IA inimigas até que são boas nem muito burras mas tbm não muito espertas, tipo, tá no nível, a única coisa que acho que poderia ter um pouco mais é as roupas, ter mais variedade, fora isso vale a pena esse jogo.
