Garfield Kart is easily the best game of all time. This game has the best storyline and worldbuilding of all games I have played. This easily exceeds games such as RDR2, The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 in every possible aspect. I definitely recommend this game to everybody.

Garfield Kart è un clone decisamente mal riuscito di Mario Kart, non ho necessità di giocare oltre visto che è piuttosto scarno (c'è solo la gara singola, il gran premio, ed il time attack).
Si salvano solo i personaggi simpatici, graficamente datato, il pad non è supportato nativamente, non sempre è fluido e i potenziamenti sono mal calibrati. Oltretutto ho provato quello che credo sia il suo sequel (Garfield Kart - Furious Racing), tutto un altro gioco, sembra aver risolto gran parte dei difetti di questo titolo, pertanto acquistare questo titolo non ha nessun senso!

DIFETTI:
Graficamente spoglio
Pochissimi circuiti banali e troppo simili tra loro
Sporadici ma fastidiosi cali di frame rate
Pad non supportato nativamente (anche settandolo via Steam serve cmq il mouse per alcune scelte)
Facilissimo fino al terzo giro, poi ti sparano addosso di tutto (per appurarlo ho ripetuto la stessa coppa diverse volte, questo succede spesso con i kart 100cc e 150cc, mai con i 50cc dove è facilissimo).

Gioco scarso in tutti i suoi aspetti, sembra addirittura scriptato, i primi giri è tutto tranquillo e gestibile, verso la fine dell'ultimo giro si scatena l'apocalisse, non potendo riavviare il singolo evento devi rifare tutto (tecnica abusata per aumentare la scarsa longevità).

Every time I hit a power-up, I feel the spirit of the lasagna coursing through my CPU. Odie is a false prophet. Jon is a mere mortal. Only the Cat knows the weight of the pasta.
The graphics? Pure lasagna. The soundtrack? I screamed "LASAGNA!" at my monitor so loud that my neighbors called the police, but they don't understand a perfectly layered lasagna launch.
Ta bueno.
I bought this game as a joke.
The joke is now on me.
Garfield Kart is what happens when someone looks at Mario Kart and says “what if we replaced everything with lasagna?” You race as Garfield, Odie, Jon, and other characters across chaotic tracks while throwing absurd items like pies and magic wands at each other. It’s ridiculous in the best possible way.
The controls are simple, the races are fast, and somehow it becomes weirdly addictive after a few rounds. It’s not the most polished kart racer ever made, but it absolutely delivers chaotic fun, especially with friends.

The graphics are atrocious compared to other games.

In conclusion, do not buy this game. Instead, buy Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. While that game is mostly a reskin, the reskin is better than the original.

Если вы играли в другие картингоподобные игры, то игра будет средней, даже вспомнил, что играл в SuperTuxKart и честно, SuperTuxKart будет играться лучше.
Также у игры проблемы с оптимизацией и это печалит.
По скидке можно наверное в такое поиграть.

online servers dead. this is the worst day EVER
they killed the online multiplayer and neglected to announce it to consumers, despite news post announcing the addition of multiplayer still being up ( https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/362930/view/5315892737482839628 ) . i have confirmed with Microids customer support that they were shut down. so thats very cool of them to just do that and not announce it mhm very cool.
UPDATE: after further emailing and pressing on why it had not been publically announced yet, the news post has now been updated to say multiplayer is closed! it should have been done a long time ago, but it's happened now so that's a minor win. still don't recommend though

This game truly changed my life. I have never played a game so good in my life until I played Garfield Kart. Nothing compares to this. The gameplay is amazing, the tracks are amazing, the graphics are stunning. This should have won game of the year. Lasagna appears in the game. I like lasagna.

A very lazy port of what's ostensibly a mobile game. There's a remake called Garfield Kart: Furious Racing that is better in nearly every conceivable way, so much so that I'm surprised this wasn't delisted and replaced by it.

A truly terrible kart racer. It's fun about as long as the novelty lasts. It's obviously a pretty hilarious concept, but it doesn't really stand on its own.
Garfield Kart is sadly nothing more than a meme.
If you're looking for a good arcadey racing game on steam, you're better off picking up Parking Garage Rally Circuit or downloading SRB2 Kart.
Comprei o Garfield Kart esperando ter multiplayer, mas o jogo é somente single-player.
Pra um jogo de kart, isso pesa muito. Kart é um gênero feito pra jogar com outras pessoas. Jogar sozinho deixa tudo ainda mais raso do que já é. O jogo é extremamente simples, com pouco conteúdo e quase nenhum motivo pra voltar depois de algumas corridas. É aquele tipo de jogo que você abre uma vez e dificilmente abre de novo.
O preço do jogo é baixo, mas mesmo assim não acho que compense. A experiência é limitada demais. Pra ter multiplayer, você precisa comprar o Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, que custa bem mais caro, e sinceramente não parece mudar tanta coisa assim pra justificar o valor.
