Worthless game that looks even worse then the trailer... EXTREMELY limited to what you can build, terrible optimization and constantly lags, graphics that would make the 90s want to stop gaming, HORRIBLE UI.... seriously a 9 year old could make a better game then this.... it's not even a real survival game.. straight garbage.
This game has a lot of potential which currently being squandered with bugs and CONS.
PROS:
You start with a decent weapon, food and water
No enemies spawn nearby when you start. (So far untested)
Generated maps, no two are the same.
Pick your starting location and time.
Character creation.
CONS:
Too much jammed into the menus.
Limited character creation.
Clothing mesh does not fit on body properly, starting clothing heavy shoulder clipping.
Not worth $20, I'd say $10 at most. (that being generous)
tutorial can be hard to understand. took 5min just figure out how equip weapons. (highlight and press 1-5)
map generation causes clipping and hovering trees rocks etc.
animation hard to watch as it is very clunky. feels very robotic, and not a good one.
animation has t-poses here and there, easy bug fix, i done it the fix on a different game before so i know it an easy fix.
does not feel like a survival. feels more like an mmo, plays like one too.
graphics are not as good as the images suggest. I got a high end MSI that runs most every game with max settings.
Resources such ores do not stack, thus inv gets filled very quickly. without a box mining can be very challenging.

It would have helped if the developers made clear how to equip a multitool. No matter what you do it doesn't equip.
It was a nice looking game and it could have been because I was playing alone but overall I was bored with it. The Devs did a good job creating it but it personally wasn't for me. This could be a fun multiplayer game though!

there have been NO updates since release. Game is promising,if only the dev cared enough to work on it more.
I love the content style of these kinds of games but this one fails hard at the execution. Expect inconvenient resource grind, expansive nothingness with no inventory space, bugged content, bad hygiene and UI. I love that it's a solo dev but that loses respect with the 20$ markup for a game I would deem worthy of being in "Beta" charged at 3-5$.
I feel the dev launched full release to abandon it due to being easier to start from scratch. Don't expect to reach any of the neat content presented in the trailer in the first several hours unless you focus on metagaming. Even then, you'd have to be like Josh from his Lets Game it Out youtube channel. Plenty of bugs and exploitable content.
I wish they would add Commands too.. but i like it.. its almost like subnautica but with land as well as water..

I could live with having to buy an old monitor to match the few available resolutions. I could also live with the buggy tutorial, that I had to restart several times as it got stuck - and each time you have to quit the entire game for that. ...the stoneage graphics... misbehaving menus ... but you endure all that, just to have a boring game with bugs like flaoting stones?
Even if I live another 50 years, I will not spend another minute here.

1. Большой открытый мир а точнее планета с выбором места посадки
2. Различные биомы.
3. Много видов животных.
4. Защита базы от стихий и нападений.
5. Система крафта.
6. Интересная система торговли хотя нет уникальная в своем роде.
7. имеется наземная, воздушная, подводная техника.
8. Система строительства
9. Система фермерства.
10. Возможность строить уникальные пстройки древних рас.
Минусы.
1.Очень маленькие стаки руды в принципе хватает но раз в 10 было б неплохо увеличить или исследования добавить на это
2. Слишком легко уничтожается техника.
3. Не сильно умный ИИ но не проблема на сложном уровне это плюс.
4. Подлаги и просадки ФПС на езде в транспорте.
5. Может и не построил но не нашел карту местности.
Игра в целом очень хорошо сделанна и это при всем то что ее делал один человек
It has some drawbacks, but if you don't spend too much time in your base, and explore, that really cuts down on the annoying attacks early in the game. The building part of the game can be really frustrating, but if you are careful to keep your cursor at the correct spot, the pieces will show up and you can place them. The stairs have an annoying bug that won't let you put a floor panel where the top landing is, but you can put a ceiling panel and you can at least access that part of the floor.
Watch out when you finally decide to build a ship. Just building the ship assembler will trigger multiple assaults, ground, drop ships and large air ships. You REALLY get pounded, so make sure you have the materials you need to complete the ship and arm it and supply ammo for all your weapons. I also experienced Solar flares with the fire tornado's AND the large air ship attacks several times.
This games end-game will pound you to a pulp! You can make use of the god mode built-in activated my the Test Mode checkbox on the main menu. It may be the only way to get to space. Even on easy difficulty, this game is brutal !
Its got great potential, but too many developers put up a bare bones functionality and don't even test it. So if you are playing ironman mode (aka hardcore) and you die, you will have to exit the program to start a new game. Sometimes if you go to sleep on the 3rd floor of a building... you might end up naked and have no items in your inventory. Basic bugs like the rifle sometimes just doesn't work. I do like the fact that sometimes the loading forgets the hill under the metal and you can build your base under the metal and just build upwards to get more. Loading the saved game often does not work right. I just suggest if you are intending to use the public to playtest the produce that maybe you should place a report a bug button in the game so when we encounter a situation... we can pop a note to the developers and it takes a snapshot of our program memory to be uploaded in the back ground. Still more no than yes for recommendation, but stay tuned, I may edit again (especially after the next update).

Vorweg, das Spiel ist grundlegend interessant und macht durchaus Spaß.
Die Spielidee ist toll und das Potential ist enorm.
Das Spiel lässt einen eine Basis bauen und diese muss auch verteidigt werden. Die Herausforderungen dabei können sehr stark steigen, aber durch den richtigen Erzähler ist das auch einfacher zu gestalten.
Sehr komplex sind die Unmengen an Assembler, aus denen dann Produkte gebaut werden können. Hier wäre etwas weniger deutlich einfacher gewesen.
Probleme:
Gelegentliche Abstürze lassen sich verhindern, wenn Autosave deaktiviert wurde. Ansonsten ist ein Spielstand irgendwann defekt und man fängt wieder von vorne an.
Grafische Abstürze in das (un)tiefe Wasser lassen sich gelegentlich auch bei einem Landgang finden, unsichtbare Bodenlöcher vermutlich.
Einige Zutaten für Kleidung oder weitere Ausrüstung konnte ich bisher nur bei Händlern finden.
Eigentlich alles muss man sich selbst erarbeiten, die Anleitung oder Hilfe im Internet ist nur rudimentär.
Empfohlen für jeden, der sich gerne einarbeitet und einen langen Atem hat

Glancing through the reviews I thought I'd try this game as it had a decent discount. I was prepared for some bad balancing and crappy art. I was not prepared for the majority of the game being running around boring terrain hoping to find a lot of a specific resource that I would need to build all basic things with no indication of where I could find it.
Idea of game is good.. just need updates for fix stuff..

first thing, the character build system seems to be like a prepared box, because it looks same or really equal to the character system of outpost zero, but this is from 2019.
i dont know what happens with the time in the game. up to now, it is quite quiet, i am building only and go forward along the tutorial. when i looked right ahead, there were no updates for the game until today.
the distances to walk could be more near, because there is a lot to build. and i only saw big mushrooms and some deer in the dark, but they were too fast. up to now ressources are a lot to find on the map.
i look forward what will happen. one thing which is stupid is, u need some machines to build some things and to get forward. but these have to be placed down the usual ground on the map, because there is no foundation or other building parts at the beginning or easy to build. in this way it is not recommended to build these in behind when everything needed is still built on the ground. so u only need turrets and walls, thats it. but this is never the usual way, in no game type like this.
graphics is ok, not best, but ok and good playable. up to now a good game and it makes fun. so i look and go forward
Wow i have to say.. Most of the bad comment have minimal hours spent on the game.. Ive had atleast 5hrs and im definitely going to spend more.. Its everything to expect from an early access game and ive had a few now, there will be bugs, there will be itchy graphics but the gameplay is great and keep making me wamt to go back for more. Im definely amped to see the final product and i know it will take a while.. I think subnautica took like 7 years? Might be mistaken, good things take time
This game feels like early access still. It is a basic Sandbox planet explorer game with abominable storage and inventory problems, minimal inventory stacking, and still jerky graphics with enough fogginess to everything that playing feels like running around with minor nearsightedness at all times.
A lot of potential, a *really* a lot of potential, but it is not ready to be a final product. Even getting it on sale I am going to be getting my refund until it realizes potential, just in case the dev has *really* decided it is fine as is and isn't going to keep fixing it up.
What.A.Piece.Of.Useless.Crap!!!! Extremely klunky interface. I couldn't select a spawn area properly as the planet was spinning wildy, so i just selected something randomly. Everything in this game has such a low quality feel to it. It's not even an early alpha game. Don't waste your money. Yeah, I've only been playing 16 minutes when I just had to get out my frustrations.

I haven`t clocked much in the way of play time hours, but I just can not get into this game. It needs serious optimisations doing to bring its performance to acceptable. I`m not refunding as I really hope this game is well supported and gets improved. But as of now I really do not want to play and I can not recommend.

The balance of this game is beyond borked.
First playthrough the 3rd raid dropped 8 lazer wielding Raiders that 2 shot me, but require 20 shots to kill. The "Raiders decided to leave" but they didn't and 1 became invincible and destroyed ALL structures. Deleting 2 hours of progress and all the resources are just GONE. No more Copper and green ore aswell as food and water... can not build anything anymore. Hard locked.
Second playthrough a Solar Flare caused a "fire tornado" which dropped near my base and the fire consumed 90 minutes of progress... again ALL structures are gone. All items not in character's inventory GONE, and the resources needed to build replacements already mined and stored in the storage contain that was deleted.
This game is ill conceived.
There are dozens upon dozens of other major issues. But I think a survival game with random events that leave the player with nothing takes the cake. Nothing to build back from, [b]AND within 2 hours of starting a new game[/b], is fundamentally a busted game from the word go.
How could anyone release this from Early Access and call it done?!

I haven't made it very far because this game has some crazy things going on with it, I tried to start 6 or 7 games before I was finally able to get started. Also the sheer amount of stupid buildings you have to build, is ridiculous. You barely get started and your hygiene is falling through the floor, tried to build my way too the sink and never found it. Also if there are space traders that come to your world, how are you stranded? So far I am rather disappointed I had to spend money on this.

It tries to be many things by borrowing ideas from other games such as Subnautica and RimWorld, but fails to be a good at anything and the sum of all parts don't come together to form something better.
The graphics are mediocre at best, the controls are funky, the UI is not very responsive and lacks a common theme. The tutorial is buggy. The voice over feels extremly cheap and destroys immersion.
Not worth the price.
This game's gameplay elements do not make up for its amateur visual, audio and UI design.
Gameplay is clumsy and reliant on the long-ago codified gameplay of run-really-far-to-look-for-a-green-flower-with-red-thorns that you inexplicably need for this thing that you need for that thing.
Definitely not worth the 20 dollars despite the fact that it seems like it has some decent depth to it.
Das Spiel hat Potential ist in der jetzigen Form zwar spielbar aber es fehlt eine anständige Anleitung / Tutorial.
Ich weis bis jetzt nicht wo ich das "Hermes Set" oder "Weefil Hide" ua. herbekomme (nach 40 Stunden Spielzeit) Es gibt keine Hinweise oder Anleitung. Das Raumschiff lässt sich nicht platzieren und ab und an macht sich der Rover im Rückwärtsgang selbstständig und ist mit nichts zu bremsen. Ich warte also ab wie sich das Spiel entwickelt.
Meine Empfehlung: Empyrion - Galactic Survival was ähnlich ist, aber einwandfrei funktioniert. Es gibt überall Anleitungen und die Entwickler haben einen guten Kontakt zu den Spielern und das Spiel wird ständig weiter entwickelt. Mal sehen wie es mit Gaia weitergeht.

Das Spiel hat eine sehr interessante Idee, es hat gewisse ähnlichkeiten mit Rime World
Faktoren die gut sind :
Man hat eine schöne Welt die interessant gemacht ist, Man kann eine Bais Aufbauen und diese verteidigen.
Faktoren die nicht so gut sind:
Zu viele Assembler,( das sind Sachen wo man was herstellen kann, es ist schon nervig das es so viele sind. Am Anfang weis man nicht wo welche Rostoffe sind. Die Welt ist noch etwas langweilig. Nur Einzelspieler.
Man kann dennoch sagen das das Spiel gut ist und das es interessant werden könnte doch sollte der Entwickler weniger Assembler rein stellen. Zumindest sehen die auch echt einfallslos aus.

玩的我一脸楞逼，开始游戏就摸索了一会才发现需要取名字还是存档名（我也不知道他写的都是啥）。。。。。进去了2把枪。一把短的好像是收集用的。收集了也不知道这么用，，，，完全没有教程。关键是中文！！！！！！现在就是我不认识它它不认识我
기지 건설 + 랜덤 이벤트 + 자원파밍 + 장비 제작
우선... 오픈월드 + 샌드박스 + 크래프팅이다보니 게임 흐름은 주로
베이스 좋은자리 찾아서 정착 -> 발전에 필요한 자원 수집 -> 발전
발전도중 -> 랜덤 이벤트로 기지공격 레이드 발생 -> 수비 성공
더 높은 등급의 건물,장비,재료 -> 랜덤이벤트... 이런 흐름이 계속되네요
중간중간 우주상선이라고 구하기 힘든 아이템을 파는 npc 이벤트도 나옵니다.
아 물론 최종 목적도 있습니다. 직접 해보셔서 확인하시면 되구요
난이도에 따라서 기지공격 레이드때 처참하게 파괴될수도있습니다.
그리고 이 게임에서 가장 무서운건 자연재해 랜덤이벤트입니다.
마치 림월드마냥 기지가 터져나갈수있으니 잘 대비하시길 바랍니다.

Ce jeux commençais à être bien. Mais le développeur ne le trouvais plus rentable. Il a donc décidé de lancer le 1.0 et abandonner le projet qui est loin d'être complet.
La construction de base est une torture. Il faut trouver le bon endroit pour placer chaque tuiles sur le terrain et même si tu réussit à compléter une sorte de base au formes étranges (comme tu doit les placer aux endroits disponibles) les murs et fenêtres fonctionnent rarement, tu doit constamment reloader.
Un base builder dans le quelle tu est mieux de ne pas construire de base.
Very basic, even for an Early Access game, but certainly shows lots of promise. Large maps with different enemies and fauna to explore. The graphics could do with improvements, but for a very a early access game, I've enjoyed the 8hrs I've spent playing it. I look forward to future updates!

I have been thinking a long time about the review and about the verdict I give this game. First of all, I want to point out, that for a single developer, this game is impressive and has come quite a far way. It is a project of love no doubt. Another fact, I would like to point out is, that I have been playing this on Linux with no apparent issues. The idea is nice and the game surely has potential. However, I have noticed some negative things as well. Mainly those are:
1. It takes me about five minutes to get into the game.
2. It takes another 10 to 15 minutes to get into the game after clicking start or load
3. It would be nice to have an option to disable raids completely
4. I think raids should be different. It is unlikely that animals will attack. Come up with some natives, hostile troops, etc.
5. Some of the resources are hard to find. For example the sink is unlocked quickly, resources to build it are hard to find.
6, Cooking should be a default skill. Given you are a female and given that everybody knows at least some basic recipes.
7. There is some content missing. Just one tool with unlimited use, just one weapon
8, The graphics are outdated. They feel like a game from the early 2000s
9. Once in game, letters and text for example in the bar or PDA, are difficult to read.
Other than that, the game is great. I really like the idea and the concept. I am a big fan of Empyrion, which is also EA and which I have been playing a lot and still do. Gaia seems to be similar in some ways.
At the end, I think this is a great project with a lot of love and a lot of potential. I do think though, that it will require a lot of work still, until it is done. Whether or not it is ready for EA, I will not judge. I have played EA games and even games that were pushed out of EA, which have been worse than this one. I do however think, that as of now the price for the game is quite a bit too high. Given the content and its current state. For the finished game, this or even a higher price is absolutely fine, but for now, I don't think it is worth it. Not just yet.
If you are looking for a difficult survival game and you like the concept of Sci-Fi survival, then Gaia might be just right for you. Especially, if it is on sale. it will certainly be interesting to see how things are going and how this game will be developing.
Oh, one thing: I actually like it a lot, that the developer seems to respond to a lot of reviews, good and bad, and that they have an own website with a blog, where they are communicating plans and even listen to players. Once again, as someone who owns an IT business and does some software and web development as part of it, for a one-man project, the game is impressive.
I also like, that it works through Steam Play on Linux. Most good survival games, like Space Engineers do not or at least not easily. This one worked out of the box. I will make sure to add this to the protondb.com website as the first report for the game as well. I would love to see a native Linux version for it later on!
Please keep in mind, that I am not using any Windows machines for years. This means, that I cannot compare how the game runs on Windows. All issues described here, have been noticed while playing through Steam Play. I don't know if the issues are game related and as such occur on Windows as well or if they are related to Steam Play.

I won't say a lot for now as it is early access but the game shows a lot of potential.
The only thing that really annoys me at the moment is that you can't re-assign keys. I actually hate WASD controls. Thanks for fixing this and congrats this is amazing for a one person project.
The game has been out for a little over a week and the Dev is trying his best and it shows, there are plenty of updates and he is listening on Discord to ideas, issues and bugs.
It will need more time but if you like supporting indie Devs and would like to help make and be part of it I say yes and I have refunded too many games but i am sticking with this one as it shows dedication.
I do not recommend it if you want a early access game that is perfect or hate bugs/glitches I see too many negative reviews of games that are EA so check the updates and see he is hard at work and wait for sale if 20$ is too much.

A hidden gem.
The game is early access but very stable. It a mix of a few different games.
Survival - lots of things to worry about food, water, sanity!
Tower Defense - as your base gets more 'value' more stuff comes your way to attack it
Once your past just surviving and you can handle the random events and waves of creature attacking you...then the game steps up a level. As soon as you start getting ready to leave the planet....Its no longer just the planet trying to kill you.
I will not spoil the surprise, but there is a lot more to this game then you think.
The only issue I see with this, is most people never get to that 'end' stage and did not even know there was all this extra stuff that you do not see until late in the game. The game appears 'basic' at the start.
There still needs to be a lot of balancing done, cause a few resource are hard to find without find hints on discord, but that is what early access is for.
I recommend getting this game, or at least following it and watching it grow.

See my first review below New review:after a year things have changed, sorry to say I would not recommend this game. Maybe things will change and get better but as of now it is basically unplayable. Lag and so many other issues its just to much and this is after the new release 1.0 Avoid this game!
Have enjoyed this game for a few days! Yes is it early access so be aware of that at this time. If you enjoy building and crafting then you should enjoy! I have found that the discussion group is great for answering questions and the game developer will also answer your questions. Can't wait to see how this develops, should be fun! Will also say one of the few games I have purchased early access and not had it crash on start or have another big issue with. Would recommend this game.
Please note: Several of the negative reviewers seem to have missed the clearly labeled and easily accessible options menu. The developer, Radu Saghin, is very quick to respond, and has already fixed several of the issues people had in less than a day after the complaint was made.
This game is clearly Early Access, and if you don't know what all that entails then this game is not for you. (Another point that some seem to have missed)
My first play through: I set everything to what I assumed would be the easiest possible setting because the reviews terrified me. I was surprised at how slowly the meters dropped. I actually had to get a snack and a drink in real life more often than the character, Amanda, needed it. Luckily that play-through was cut short by a bad trade deal and my base was destroyed by an orbital strike.
Second try: I played with the defaults and received the challenge I was expecting.
It has the limits of many EA games. There are limited options of things to build, but the models are better than some of the finished games I've played. It took me a while to figure out how to change the direction of placed objects and there's a few other similar things that I wish were included in the tutorial. And if you play the tutorial and manage to die, bless your heart but don't blame the game. Also if you see a big monster or mushroom don't try to hug it. To address the complaint regarding hygiene, anyone with experience in actual wilderness/survival expeditions knows that going to the bathroom in the woods is not as hygienic as a real bathroom. There is a reason you don't buy a pack of toilet leaves from the store.
To be honest I have no real complaints about the game play and hope it continues to grow to its full potential and great expectations. It has survival elements that you have to keep track of that most other games don't include. I personally like the extra logistical challenge. Things I hope get added to the game include more decorative options, more storage options, multiplayer co-op, character customization, a way to move placed objects, food spoilage, and a globe style map.
I managed to build what I thought was an invincible base... Then some spaceships came and destroyed half my base. I like the challenge and it's even better when you manage to overcome it. I think that's the best part because it's really satisfying to see that you managed to keep up and survive with all the stuff the game's throwing at you.
Quite a complex game with a steep learning curve, just how I like them. These kind of games always have the biggest potential. Looking forward to see how this game progresses.

Good game!
I don't normally write reviews but I felt that I should to help others... This game is extremely basic. I understand it is in EA but it doesn't have enough content to even be in EA. The frame rate is extremely low and many components don't work properly. I attempted to refund through Steam but they denied me because I was just over 2 hours.
Im torn on this i really am. especially considering i just septn nearly 6 hours solid playing it.
Ok so here is what i like about it, the graphics are ok the buildings are stellarly nice, the gameplay is EH (could be better)
Here are several issues
1.) you log in and are building certain other buildings before you even have a foundation, house or cooking skills. It says you need blueprints but you already have them you just hve to research them in the encoder
2.) You spend the materials to make the items then you have to actually build it ONE BUILD IS ENOUGH PEOPLE.
3.) No real weapons for you to use other than your rifle (note im not counting the launchers that you can place all over the place)
4.) Character gets stuck in several places when going up hill and takes forever to uncrouch
5.) How the hell are you suppose dto get 2 miles away in 50 seconds to an anomaly in the beginng. Guess what YOU CANT ITS IMPOSSIBLE (ive tried you need hermes boots or ship to get there in time and even then its questionable)
6,) you construct furniture later in the game yes your hygiene drops to zero really fast and you cant build a sink till later AND you need these blobs from underwater to build it but you cannot use your pda underwater (as far as i can tell and ive tried everything so far) Good news is your hygiene right now affects little so im not worried about it.
Cooking should be a start learning skill and you should learn foundations FIRST NOT LATER..... Storage space to start is a pain in the ass, i ran aroudn so mych i hurt in real life.
NOTE TO DEVS-Peeing should not decrease hygiene it should INCREASE IT. What is she doing peeing on herself, its called a tree and leaves.../facepalming for days on that one.
That said its a fun game and needs a lot of love and attention BUT if on sale is worth it. I reserve the right to update this at a later time depending on if the devs screw it up or dont make the recommended changes.
This isn't ready for early access. As a game developer myself this is in early alpha stage. I will be willing to change my review once it reaches early access.
Changed my review because the dev stood by his game. That's someone I can respect and support in the future.

Good evening from here fellow dev and all. I hope everyone here and there is ok. I find Gaia a ver y interesting experiance so far. I have enjoyed some of my time once Gaia. Absolute thanks to Radu and everyone. I have 9.3 hours thus far once Gaia and having a wonderful experiance. I'm aware this is still the early Alpha process yet i See a lot of potential for the future of Gaia and even new ideas, i will highly recommend purchase if so upon Interest cause it is well of its worth. And i will believe Ideas over time as well.Yet if Any personal doubts, simple have patience for Radu.And perhaps make your purchase if so that you can when Gaia further developes as future reference. I really appreciate so far what Radu is doing for Gaia and the work so far that has been applied into it.You know i See a little of space exploration, the opertuinity of settlement on other world(s). New biomes, enemy NPC's. New quests, loor and character customization. And maybe even multiplayer Alliances in the distant future perhaps. Yet, i'm ever so humble to really appreciate Radu, the team and Gaia for just creating such an interesting Scifi experiance for everyone. I have good faith for you all and Gaia.My special thanks. Звезд с неба игра не хватает, есть и баги и непонятная хрень с постоянно выпадающим из вашего инвентаря лутом (я назвал этот момент - синдром Маши-растеряши), что очень выбешивает. И разрабам еще допиливать и допиливать, но... Но игра имеет и сюжет и цели и вполне затягивает не хитрым гемплеем.
Любителям жанра, на безрыбье зайдет. И конечно, существует небольшая вероятность, что разрабы игру допилят и сделают еще более привлекательной.

So this is a build a base survival game with more focus on survival than building a base.
The game was developed by one guy and it shows. Everything seems to work but it's clunky, the graphics are sub-par and it needs a ton of polish.
The graphics feel like I am playing a game from 10 years ago with the graphics setting maxed out. Everything looks hazy and washed out. Trees and objects sometimes float above the ground.
The tutorial sends you down a nonsensical build path that will get you killed.
I had problems snapping the walls and floors down in base building. Foundations need to be thicker and items need to snap to each other better.Your character needs to go to the bathroom and apparently can't wash up after that. You lose sanity to quick and a few days in my character was almost insane.
Key mapping reverts to default when I load a game.
No windowed mode.
Yes this game is early access but I feel like one guy can't support everything this game needs to get it going. It feels like a school project, albeit a very well done one, but something that is not ready for early release. This is more like an early alpha. Take it to Kickstarter or hopefully you make enough money of of this early release to hire some staff. Hopefully this game will be up to early release standards in 6 months.
Great start for early access. no crashes in 4 hours. Its playable as is and im looking forward to the updates.
I broken my principle of not buying Early Access games anymore and I regret now this decision.
My first impression from the advertising was that this game will be a base defense game or base management.
But instead is something different. My negative points are:

[*]A base defense and resource management game for me is something where I spend my time around the base generating resources, upgrading the base and preparing my defenses. And then surviving the attack. This game however is trying to send me out to gather resources further and further away because those do not respawn near the base. Cannot even plant the alien plants which are used to build structures.

[*]Defending my buildings against small animals is acceptable in some fantasy games but not in a SF game with spaceships. Animals should attack with corrosive acid or some other biological weapons to make it credible for this SF setting.

[*]The developer defends his game design choices by referencing RimWorld. He took over from there the 3 Story Tellers from the game settings and the Trader which comes to the base. I think the plan is to take elements from two highly rated games and to combine them. But the wisdom how to balance the game-play doesn't show up in the 10 hours I played, making me to uninstall the game and wonder if I will ever come back to it later or not.
[*]Possibility to create buildings on multiple levels was dropped because the AI path-finding would be complicated. This means builders will not have fun either. A base building game with restricted building capabilities!

I played just a little bit so is hard to give a full review at this moment.
It is an action oriented game made by one developer.
You land on a planet, you get a little bit of food and water and ammunition to hunt and defend yourself.
I usually skip the tutorial but this time I was not able to figure out what to do so after running a bit around and collecting stuff I decided to restart the game with the tutorial enabled.
There are some balancing issues. Probably the game was tested by people who know already how to play.
I will reach this stage too later :)
But until then, just following the tutorial which tells you what buildings to create, I was attacked and I am out of bullets.
By the way, the creatures which attacked my base were two rabbits :)) Or something similar. Small white creatures with big ears, moving fast and hard to shoot. I wonder if those canons I see in the video will defend me from the "rabbits" :D
The game settings were default/normal... probably I will have to adjust and configure more resources and fewer enemies until I learn the game mechanics.
The user interface can be improved. But for the first day on steam, I would say it is ok.
There are some short 1-2 sec lags every 10 or 15 minutes, probably caused by an autosave.
The developer presented a list of "packages" on the forum and the players will vote which will be implemented first.
And he implemented modding capabilities from the very beginning.
This is the main reason why I write the review and up-vote the game from the very first day.
But is also the kind of game I like and I have a good feeling about the future of the game.

On vous dit d'utiliser un assembleur et un récolteur sans vous dire à quoi cela corresponds...(quel touche corresponds à l'outil et comment s'en servir... )
La réponse : Utilisez la touche Q pour changer puis restez cliqué dessus pour extraire les ressources...
Bref on vous laisse vous "démerder" tout seul sans aide

In its current state, yes its early access, but in its current state its just painful to play. The tutorial was a joke, following it got me killed. Resources are near impossible to find, besides the obvious ones. food and water drain is scaled to high, seriously no-one eats 10 carrots in a sitting, then gets hungry only a bit later, water is not as bad, but still bad. then the bathroom? seriously, not competent enough to use a tree, oh no bathroom available, ill just go on myself. (this is obviously a statement about having not built one yet, though it is honestly just another of the many meters to manage on this game.)
Controls are counterintuitive, Not the traditional WASD movement instead W moves you and mouse turns you. no strafing as A and D switch your weapons. The multi tool has to be extremely close to an already hard to find resource to gather it. So resource to high on that rock? to bad. Now I will say I did not make it far into this game, I could not actually, maybe it was bad luck on resources maybe not. but some of my issues could be fixed by the research stations tech, maybe.
Graphics are subpar but as its in alpha this was excusable. no cut-scenes or story to speak of an this stage of the game.
Building options and BUILDING (sorry i had to clarify that for the dev) controls seemed to be the only thing I found good in this game, it seems enough for the current stage of the game, but if you're expecting options on the level of Factorio or Evospace, you will be disappointed. I do hope it expands further to allow for those with a creative side to go a bit crazy.
As far as my other comments, which I stick by, you can take my criticisms, those of a single person with a single encounter of the game by the way, and whether you like them or not then are what I experianced in your game or you can get angry, anger is not going to improve the game though.
