I really wanted to like this game, especially because the idea of customising your own units is genuinely cool. Unfortunately, the execution just isn’t there.

The very first mission drops you straight into what feels like a skirmish, with the only instruction from the AI commander being “Destroy the enemy team.” That’s it. No explanation of mechanics, no guidance on strategy, and no proper tutorial to ease you in. I’ve played plenty of RTS games, so I managed to pick things up fairly quickly, but even then it feels like being thrown in at the deep end. New players would be completely lost.

Gameplay quickly boils down to unit spam: build units, get attacked, defend, push back, then repeat. The enemy has access to more unit types early on, yet the game never explains unit counters, base-building priorities, or even why certain upgrades are locked. Instead of learning through play, you’re left guessing.

To make matters worse, every explanation of how the game works is hidden behind walls of text buried in menus. There’s no clear, hands-on teaching during missions, which makes the learning process feel tedious rather than engaging.

It also makes some baffling design choices, like giving you a super weapon in the very first mission. This completely kills any sense of progression or balance and undermines what should be an introductory learning phase.

There’s a solid idea at the core of this game, and credit where it’s due for trying something different with customisation. But the lack of structure, meaningful guidance, and thoughtful pacing makes the whole experience feel rushed and poorly designed. I can’t recommend it in its current state.

Overall, I’d give this game a 3/10. Those points are for the customisation system and the attempt to do something new compared to other RTS games, but it falls short due to weak design and lacklustre execution. I picked this up through Humble Bundle, but if I’d paid full price, I’d be genuinely disappointed.

RTS where all combat units are customizable. Now, that idea might sound neat on paper, but the actual implementation leaves a lot to be desired: it’s basically just “pick gun, pick armour type, pick mobility option” and that’s about it. This means the main gameplay hook the entire game is relying on to keep interest rapidly falls flat, which is compounded by the campaign boiling down to amassing a ball of units and razing the enemy bases every single map.

The devs seem to have tried to compensate for this simplicity, though: they made the game extremely hard, and they did it by making the AI cheat and outnumber you every time. This is just as annoying as it sounds, and it quickly deflated any interest the main concept may have generated.

Just go play CnC or Starcraft 2 instead.

While I am leaving a positive review, only play this if coming in with low expectations and if the desire to "make your own faction" really appeals to you. It can be a fun RTS game to mess around in for a bit, but it definitely does not have the staying power of other big RTS titles (Warcraft, Starcraft, Command and Conquer, Supreme Commander, etc.) If you want to try out a different RTS, give Forged Battalion a spin, otherwise I probably would stick with the classics.

For some more detailed information...
-- I don't play Multiplayer, but I have a feeling its dead.
-- Faction Customization is this game's meta progression. Earn points by playing the game, then invest in your Tech Tree to unlock new weapons, support items, and movement types.
-- Campaign Missions are glorified skirmish maps, and later devolve into "Can you beat this map while the enemy has a BS mechanic and a super unit?" While there is some appeal to having "Boss Units" in RTS games, the execution here does not feel like an enjoyable experience.
=== For reference, I'm at Mission 11 out of 15. Mission 5 has you deal with a super tank that can call down missile barrages that annihilate your army. Oh, and you are fighting 3 enemies on top of that. // Mission 10? Try dealing with a super artillery that can annihilate your army easily if the enemy has vision of you on their side of the map. While you have a (useless) ally this time, its still essentially you versus 3 enemies. I had to play with the classic AI challenge of "Let them exhaust their resources before finally counterattacking and then actually finishing the mission..."

-- I feel like the best upgrades are the early generic ones that simply boost HP (Armor Support, Tread Movement). I just finished the campaign (15 missions), and I'm definitely seeing the fact that the game is unfinished. While it does end with the player defeating the "main antagonist," there was clearly buildup to another enemy that may have been worse than the person we just took down. Also, the campaign unceremoniously ends. No ending sequence, just a "Victory!" screen and its back to main menu like before.
-- There were also apparently hints of another Tech Level (you can see the lines extending past the right side of the screen), but supposedly like the ending of the Campaign, it was never implemented.

Despite this and Forged Battalion's other flaws, I still found it to be an enjoyable RTS for what it is. I stand by my original statement, its fun as a distraction with its low price, just come in with lowered expectations.

Go play Command & Conquer, especially Generals, you can construct multiple buildings at once at any place there. This game is ultimate - spam units until it's done - example. I like playing Skirmish, but this game compared to C&C Generals and other ones is just bad. Make your self and your brain cells a favor and get Command & Conquer series, where you actually need to use your brain to play the game.

Die Idee ist gut und wie damals zu C&C Zeiten. Etwas bunter und Comic-Like. Aber ich bag die Optik. Nur leider ist es viel zu schwer. In Level 2 habe ich schon auf leicht zahlreiche Versuche probiert, aber leider komme ich einfach nicht gegen den übertrieben starken Computer an. Der hat schon nach 2min die Einheiten verdoppelt und nach 5min ist er eine Übermacht. Null Chance. Und das bei Leicht. Schade.

RTS de type C&C avec un arbre technologique pour votre propre développement de troupes.

C'est joli, les maps sont sympa dans un style épuré et le jeu répond bien. Pour le reste, on cherche encore la micro gestion dans le tas de troupes dont vous aurez besoin pour anéantir l'IA Bot tout comme l'aspect éco qui est simpliste.

Au final un jeu à déocuvrir oui et non car déjà vu 1000 fois, même le mode multi ne nous occupe pas plus de 2 ou 3 games. Au final retournez vers vos RTS millésimés, le messie n'est pas encore arrivé et gardez votre argent.

Allora. L'idea di base del gioco è davvero intrigante: la possibilità di creare la propria fazione con le proprie unità è semplicemente geniale, il problema è la realizzazione complessiva. Mi spiego: alla fine ogni missione del gioco si risolve creando un'esercito enorme e lanciandosi contro i nemici in massa; il tipico gameplay "rushoso" dei vecchi RTS degli anni '90. Non serve nessuna strategia per completare le missioni, ma solamente un'enorme prova di forza numerica che alla fine annulla proprio la parte migliore del gioco ossia il sistema del crafting, che diventa di fatto accessorio. Poi ci sarebbe anche da dire che alcune missioni sono estremamente sbilanciate a favore dell'IA. Io l'ho comprato in saldo a meno di 5 euro e diciamo che per quel prezzo vale la pena provarlo, anche solo per riscoprire il brivido di uno strategico (anche troppo) vecchia scuola.

I really wish it were good, but it's a subpar RTS with a good design idea, and shallow gameplay, with poor QoL features and a tech tree with no suitable grinding methods, save a custom workshop map that forces you to do boring gameplay of destroying neutral structures.

Most of the tech in the unit designer is downgrades, there are only like 5 weapons worth using, they're not even cool and you can't manage the aesthetics of your units, it's just based on their equipment.

Only got these hours in this game because I want a modern RTS with customisable units, don't know of any others.

Overall the game is pretty good, but they made some really bad design decisions.

For example, your military production buildings cap at 3, and provide no benefit after that. Imagine if Age of Empries or Starcraft II did this. No one would play, as it would kill the most prolific strategies in those games. Reaper spam? Not on my watch! Mass hussar? I don't think so, says Petroglyph! Super disappointing to have done this, and easily patchable.

I wanted to make an air-focused army and drown the enemy in airframes. Unfortunately they just hard-lock the game in order to force you to build the same compositions as the enemy, turning fights into proportionally-similar armies fighting proportionally-similar armies. It's boring and bad game design.

The economy side of the game is really fun actually, and takes some of the best elements from the Red Alert series but genuinely has super interesting units with a create-your-own faction which is the centre of this RTS. It's a shame to have done so well on the accessorial yet to mess up the fundamentals so decisively.

6/10 Its a great game with lots of potential.
Customizing your own faction is awesome and I have only seen other gameplay like that in Impossible Creatures.
The Campaign difficulty is crazy compaired to Skirmish mode and should be nerfed for new players.
Some sort of passive income structure for a longer late game could also be a + in my book, not a must.
The servers for the game seems down, so playing multiplayer seems impossible.

If you just want a fun little game for singleplayer and you like the playstyle, then its great game and for the price I would say you could get your moneys worth of it. And the music is great.
But otherwise I would recommend finding something else, if you dont mind animal RTS then the prior mentioned Impossible Creatures is a funny old game with an active modding community.

This is game is the most unjustifiable RTS game in history cause it ain't no Strategy here game is about brute force a game about expanding fast enough to get more resources and beat the hell out of enemies by slapping them with HUGE amounts of units, I bought this game discounted thinking I would have a good time oh but I did but it wasn't the type of good time when you played an RTS game cause I was bored to hell why? Cause there is no strategy to be found no counters, no abilities its just an RTS game where you can adjust a units to your own liking like looks and guns but all of that doesn't matter when you SPAM THE SH*T OUTTA them cause then they would still beat up every unit and structures this game has no Strategy experience its just a modern war game where you can edit your own units and play that's it. I give this game a 3/10 the graphics and designs are good but damn the gameplay is just plain and unfun.

Ich hatte mehr erwartet und doch hats für ein paar Stunden Spass gereicht.

Eher für erfahrene RTS-Spieler.

Alt+Enter für Fenster- und Vollbild-Umschaltung funktioniert gut, wie auch Alt-Tab zurück
zum Desktop; wenn das technische klappt, dann sind für mich bei einem Game schon die wichtigsten
Grundpfeiler gelegt.

Kampagne ist oke, natürlich nicht so opulent wie bei einem C&C; sagen wir mal Daumen horizontal.

Pros:
+ Unique mechanics where you create your own faction (I think that it is a good choice by developers that you can only modify faction outside of real game, so you need to think about everything in advance when creating a faction)
+ Solid RTS gameplay and feeling which of course resembles CnC very much (well it's Petroglyph)
+ Music by Frank Klepacki!!!!! Yay!
+ Runs very smoothly and is quite polished already
+ Very reasonable price for content that is offered
+ 8 player support from a get go

Some remarks:
- Progression mechanics in multiplayer mode are questionable
- AI feels very similar to 8-bit armies one (and also borrowed same issues) - maybe you should look back into "Grey Goo" AI, because that one felt better
- In my opinion they should drop mechanics that only 1 barracks or only 1 ligh factory can make units (second and third just increases production speed)
- Base expansion should be handled differently - you should be able to build mobile outpost or something similar and decide where to expand yourself (pre-build outposts could be replaced by some other valuable structures - unique turrets or some constant money generators - banks or something other)
- I hope to see observer mode and to be able to choose AI factions as enemies (from those that I created)
- I think that faction skins (just looks) would benefit this game very much - I would be willing to pay for them to make my faction look distinctive

寻路和单位碰撞做的比较一般，导致指挥起来很头疼
运营上很类似命令与征服系列了，挺不错的
问题在于科技点需要肝，解锁不了科技没法修改兵牌
所以PVP和PVE都会有不平衡的情况

The idea of the game is great. Futuristic setting where you can design your units the way you want. You can make tanks, artillery, specialized infantry, etc. This part of the game is awesome. But the difficulty curve, come one! It's insane. By the second mission you have to secure a location and destroy an enemy base while being constantly rushed by enemy troops. And this is actually the way to win. Spam more units than the enemy and rush his base. Them spam some more and send them there while the battle is raging.
While the concept is good, the insane difficulty completely kills the vibe. It also doesn't that your units many times exhibit a dumb behaviour: half the units are fighting against the enemy, the others are just behind and they don't move to attack and support the others. They just stay there.
Could be an awesome game, but unfortunately it's just frustrating.

This is a game I was longing for a long time! Oh, boy, where do I start. They just don't make this kind of games anymore. I have just finished 5th mission (where you kill carter). I spent like 4 hours figuring out how to take 3(THREE!!!) opponents with this b*tch-ass super tank until I have annihilated them all in 15 minutes. This warm feeling, this adrenaline rush.... I can't say it's better than s*x, but it gave me the good old thrill I used to have playing Dune as a Harkonen =) You just oblitirate all the dead and living.
I like the customisation of your troops, although I pretty much stick to the ultimate combo of reinforced armor + rocket launchers. This gives you 90% tier 1 troops, but with great survivability and with a very decent punch packed for each unit type. I swept 4 first mission in a blink of an eye until the forementioned mission 5 gave me some business. I have 10 missions to go and I hope it will be as fun and challenging as the first 5 missions.
Shout out to all the weaklings in comments who posted a negative review and who could not stand the old school style. Hehe, you guys are weak, get a taste of life =)

Even at full price the game is worth every cent. I got it with 50% percent discount which is basically free. Even if there are any drawbacks in this game, I just don't feel anything to complain about. Very solid and fun game!

Being able to build your own units is great, making your own "Faction" Is a ton of fun.

BUT HOLY F***ING GOD!!! Some of the Campaign missions are nearly IMPOSSIBLE, I finally just today completed the Mission where you fight 3 enemies and Commander Carter himself, Yes Both.

This particular mission is total BS, Carter himself, is essentially a moving base and, can call down 4 missile barrages at once right on top of himself, the tank he drives one shots almost every unit you'll have and to top it off let up on your DMG output for even 10 seconds and he regens all of his health!

OH OH and when you Finally kill this S.O.B., all he has to say is "AH, you made me taste my own blood.". B****, I just KILLED you, WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING!!!! Make a death sound of any kind IDC just D**!

Mission 6 is seems impossible at this time.

Needed to Rant. Great game over all very steep learning curve you need to build income fast and units even faster. Just play multiplayer or skirmish, the Campaign frustration isn't worth it.

THE GOOD: Some touches of C&C base building and combat. Nice to have a RTS when no one else seems to be making them!. The enemy AI seems to put up a challenge - unfairly so at times. Music is good.

THE BAD: The Campaign is bare bones, just skirmish maps with tacked on text boxes, the game is all about speed runs ... basically if you do not prioritise spamming resource gathering and churning out units you will lose - its all about fast fast fast. The graphic design is not too everyone taste - its kinda cartoony and blocky... like if C&C had a one night stand with Minecraft - this game would be the result!

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, I've finished over 100 RTS games and can safely this is one of the worst. I'm genuinely baffled as to how Team 17 (who generally do good work) and Petroglyph (who are at worst putting out mediocre games) thought this one was ready for prime time. I would unironically recommend Dawn of War 3 and C&C 4 over this rancid abortion of a game.

There is no strategy to be found in what is ostensibly a real time strategy game, you just SPAM units non-stop or get buried by an AI that does the same thing. Cover, positioning, counters, resource control, upgrades, abilities all of these are an irrelevance. This is a pure and straight forward spam fest with bad path-finding, cluttered battlefields littered with objects that you can attack (for no reason I would add, aside from it making it harder to position your units as they declare war on a random prop), pathetically bare-bones AI and a central gimmick that's been implemented terribly.

Want to customise your units? Great, why don't you just grind endlessly in a skirmish mode where the AI randomly gets a bunch of free upgrades from the pool. Oh they got Tier 4 ones and your just starting out? That's a shame. Want to try the campaign? Enjoy playing a 3v1 AI match where the enemy spams you into oblivion.

Your units have almost non-existent awareness and will not only do nothing while units RIGHT NEXT TO THEM die, but often won't even defend themselves. When you get attacked, the game just BLOOPS at you (with the same effect from 8-Bit Armies because sound design is hard) while not telling you where the attack is actually happening. To make this even more fun, the AI loves to spam snipers who shoot your guys from outside of vision range.

The whole thing is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. I cannot accurately describe how bad this game is in every sense of the word. It's an utter familiar at every level of RTS game design. The units are boring, the AI is bad, the unit level AI is atrocious, pathfinding is half-assed, enemy variety is non-existent, the campaign blows chunks and the skirmish mode manages to be even worse. I've given bad RTS games the benefit of the doubt before, so trust me when I say that this one is just trash and not worth a penny. Do not waste your time with this game.

The only thing I can say that's positive is that the soundtrack is decent, everything else is a total waste of time. Both for the players who won't have fun and the developers who started with a good premise and released an utterly pointless game. If they had tweaked how the tech unlock tree worked, made the campaign a bit more interesting and tweaked the AI this could have been an alright game much like the 8-Bit trilogy, but instead this one has been abandoned. With all of it's warts and issues remaining intact.

Контента маловато, баланса как такового нет, глубиной механик не блещет.
Если вы коллекционер или фанат жанра с такими же друзьями, то советую взять по скидке за треть цены, что нередко дают на распродажах. Часов 10 приколов тут можно найти без проблем при игре в пати.
Для одиночной игры (ничего интересного не предлагается) или мультиплеера (умер, погиб, скончался) не рекомендую.

For a modern RTS this does a lot of thing right:
- multi factory / single queue for production buildings
- useful but not overpowered superweapons
- buildings are tougher than in most rts / bases are hard targets
- essentially no unit limit
- SW spam is impossible
- very large unit variety since you can kitbash your own units and factions

So here are the dealbreakers:
- The kitbashing system for units is insanely unbalanced
- There is no visual variety for units an buildings
- No unit stance and behaviour system
- AI plays in a way, that is very unfun to the player. Skirmishes feel very static.
- Individual units are very weak, which makes only unit spam viable

All of the problems could be fixed, if the game wasn't abandoned from the devs on day one.
It's a shame, because it had so much potential.

[i]不要被已经失去时效的游戏评测唬住，认为这是个有深度的，可自由化高度定制阵营的RTS。“无脑”二字是最适合形容这个游戏的词汇。阵营定制无脑，战役流程无脑，AI的智商嘛，更无脑。最无脑的还是岩石壁画。[/i]
[i]此外这游戏烂尾到我在游戏里没找到制作人名单，此外地图制作器及其教程，过了这么多年了，仍然是Beta状态。嗯，一如既往的岩石壁画烂尾传统。[/i]

想打通本作惩戒营，你只需要[b]经济好，然后往死里暴兵淹没敌军就行[/b]。本作没有任何需要考虑其他战术，根据对手对症下药的必要。

在很多评测中都提到一件事，就是本作没有拓展基地的载具或者MCV。但是本作有RTS史上最无脑的扩展方式：炮塔。没错，[b]本作的炮塔具有建筑范围[/b]。在讨论魔兽争霸3的时候，玩家提出过一个问题，那就是为什么其他种族有针对人口建筑的战术，唯独人族没有？回答也很简单，人族的农场是一个除了提供人口以外，没有任何其他额外功能的建筑，因此造价低，血量足，占地面积小，适合各种野作为侦察岗哨。本作的炮塔则是在农场上免费加了挺机枪。一个炮塔甚至开了维修，能抵挡住无攻城部队敌人的小波部队长达半分钟，甚至一群步兵全能杀了，性价比直接拉满。如果本作不是老CNC这种只能同时生产一种单位的设计，这游戏只需要TR就能赢。当然即使不用TR，玩家还是可以不断扩张基地，把所有矿区都占上，然后用大量的采矿车直接榨干金矿。到手的钱永远不多，多造几个生产建筑往死里暴兵就行了。

提及暴兵，就要谈到本作最致命的问题，那就是[b]不明所以的自定义阵营[/b]，而且这东西是拿来当做卖点的。科技树需要大量经验值解锁暂且不提，因为这些科技一点用都没有。你兵种带的科技等级越高，需要的生产等级越高，造价越贵，而且最要命的，是[b]生产时间延长，但武器伤害不变[/b]。这也直接导致了同样的金钱和时间，不点科技的单位反而比点了科技的单位造出来的数量多，所以显而易见，整个队伍的DPS反而小了。有玩家可能会说，我点科技了，单位更肉了，能输出的时间更长。但是本作有医疗兵科技，能够奶天上地下所有单位，玩家只需要把兵营的产能全给医疗兵，你的部队将硬得像泰伯利亚晶体一样，一小波部队哪怕顶着敌人克制的武器，都能防下来。所以，本作的自定义阵营，最终沦为了越简单越好，暴兵越快越好的累赘。而初始的火箭科技则是最好用的科技，因为它哪怕劣势对抗，对其他单位的修正比也是1倍。这也是我通关整个战役的套路核心：无限爆医生、火箭轻载、重型坦克、火箭重载、火箭无人机，只要爆的快，直接淹没敌人。

至于战役，又臭又长的强化版遭遇战，没错，岩石壁画就是在遭遇战的代码上写的战役任务。尽管战役对抗十分不平衡，敌人指挥官拥有他们的史诗载具，能对玩家的部队大规模屠杀，尤其是倒数几关的米拉将军，它的音波坦克能够秒杀无人机、大规模aoe地面部队。但是我之前说了——战役是在遭遇战的代码上写的。所以除了毒素将军的几关，需要摧毁地图隐藏的油桶——巧了，灰蛊也是这么糊弄的，或者摧毁毒素将军的坦克，把敌人老家的毒气屏障解除，大部分的战役玩家都可以直接跳过他们的史诗载具，直接拆掉他们的基地，直接打通本关。

把本作的制作厂商抹了让玩家玩，玩家只会认为这是哪个独立作者做出来的demo。自定义阵营的设计虽然看上去新颖，但是完全不是最优解。想让玩家拥有自己的RTS阵营，不如去学一学Dota Like，直接通过让玩家选择英雄的方式解锁兵种或关键科技，甚至可以让玩家只操作英雄，将繁琐的运营流程直接让通过学习玩家行为习惯后的大模型AI控制。你看，卖英雄这种设计，又能做成抽卡like，又能做成通行证like，甚至可以直接卖角色让玩家用爱发电——你快点对玩家说我爱你，让玩家多爆点金币！——新时代的RTS，不能局限于CNC的泰伯利亚后启示录，更不能被暴雪的电竞式思想给带坏，而是要弱保软，要让玩家的的确确投入到自己阵营的构筑中，消耗时间成本和金钱成本，增加沉没成本拴住玩家，用大量优秀的PvE、合作内容、战役设计、剧情演出来彻底吸住玩家。

啧，越写越不对劲，我有这种做RTS的设计，我为啥不直接做来钱更快的手游。。。嘛，人总该有点理想之类的，要不然我也不至于要花上几年去搞RTS巡礼之路，学习其他游戏制作人的经验，寻找RTS需要修改的种种弊端。至于啥时候做RTS嘛。。。等我被优化了再说（悲

Hard to believe there are overwminds who got all 100% achievements in this game. But, from my side, I have to say - for each award of this review I will:

1) buy any DLC for this game
2) get any achieve in this game
3) eat a spoon of mayo

Legal o jogo. Diretamente inspirado nos jogos da série C&C, mas com a inovação de permitir uma ampla customização da sua facção.

A customização acontece a partir de uma árvore de tecnologias que você desbloqueia ao longo da campanha, e que basicamente libera novas partes para suas unidades, mas também super-armas e melhorias especiais para sua base.

Apesar desse conceito bem interessante, o multijogador está morto, então só dá para jogar no modo campanha, que apesar de ser legalzinha, deixa a desejar.

No fim vale mais a pena para quem gosta de RTS e quer experimentar essa inovação das unidades customizáveis. Fora isso não recomendaria.

Forged Battalion möchte etwas frischen Wind in das RTS-Genre bringen und lässt uns zwischen den Missionen Forschungspunkte ausgeben und Einheiten gestalten, die uns dann im nächsten Spiel zur Verfügung stehen. Die Grafik ist dabei ganz hübsch, wirkt alles etwa so wie ein Aquarellgemälde. Nur die Explosionen kommen nicht so gut rüber, aber der Rest ist ganz hübsch. Die Soundkulisse überzeugt, nicht so wie die Musik, die hat leider einen leichten Hang zum Nervigsein - ist aber Geschmackssache. Wie muss man sich aber jetzt den frischen Wind vorstellen? Na ja, im Spiel (also der aktuellen Map) stehen einem neun Gebäude zur Verfügung, die die eine Ressource abbauen, Strom erzeugen (gewissermaßen die zweite Ressource) und ansonsten Gebäude für die Einheitenproduktion bereitstellen. Stehen die Gebäude, kann man die vor der Mission generierten Einheiten produzieren und in die Schlacht schicken. Es gibt noch eine "Superwaffe" und Verteidigungsstellungen. Dann läuft es eigentlich darauf hinaus, möglichst schnell viele Truppen zu produzieren und "druff uff'n Gegchner". Nach der Mission erhält man Forschungspunkte, die man dann in neue Technologien stecken kann, aus denen man sich neue Einheiten zusammenstellen kann. Das liest sich jetzt auch besser, als es sich anfühlt. Man kann dann der Infanterie eine größere Wumme geben (als Beispiel). Dadurch, dass es im Spiel (also der Mission) selbst keine Einheiten- oder Gebäudeaufwertungen gibt, spielt es sich recht langweilig, zumal man auch immer nur ein Gebäude gleichzeitig errichten kann. Die Schwierigkeitsgrade der KI scheinen sich nur dadurch zu unterscheiden, wie mächtig die Waffen sind, die der KI-Gegner hat. Mit KI hat das allerdings nur wenig zu tun. Insgesamt ein RTS, was ich zu uninteressant finde, um es länger zu spielen. Lieber greife ich zu Iron Harvest, Age of Empires oder Grey Goo.

C&C lite but with issues. Almost feels like this was made for play on tablet. The game toughts building a faction that works for you, but I guess that doesn't include mass spamming ICBM superweapons as you can only launch 1 every 3 minutes no matter how many silos you got.

Love the faction customization idea though.

Рекомендую к покупке, за свои деньги простая и приятная стратегия в стиле Dune battle for arrakis.

В целом хорошо, есть простенький конструктор, есть древо развития технологий, есть озвученная голосом кампания.
Есть и минусы:1. ИИ либо слишком слабый(средняя сложность) либо сильный(тяжелая сложность), а должно быть еще 3 промежуточных;
2. Конструктор не предпологает расширенных шасси с 2 слотами под орудия;
3. Камера слишком низко висит, нужно ещё 3 позиции.

I recommend to buy, for your money a simple and pleasant strategy in the style of Dune battle for arrakis.

In general, it’s good, there is a simple constructor, there is a technology development tree, there is a voice-over campaign.
There are also disadvantages: 1. AI is either too weak (medium difficulty) or strong (hard difficulty), and there should be 3 more in between;
2. The designer does not expect extended chassis with 2 slots for guns;
3. The camera hangs too low, 3 more positions are needed.

A fairly basic RTS game with everything you might expect from a title in that genre – building structures, managing supply lines, trying to strike a balance between pushing against your enemy and protecting your own structures. What makes this game unique is that you can design your own units. I pictured a spore-style creation tool in which I could design my whole army from the ground up, but really it’s just a matter of choosing which damage type the unit uses and adding a few passive buffs. There’s no tutorial – instead, you’re encouraged to read the manual. Points off there. I’d say this is very difficult to recommend unless you’re a huge RTS fan and are really interested in the “create your own units” gimmick. Otherwise, there are plenty of better, more polished, and more interesting RTS games to play instead.

Good idea, poor execution.
Typical RTS unitspam but with lots of failing aspects. No ability to test new tech without going into play makes it difficult to get a handle on what's good or not- doubly so when you can't test before buying the tech.

Tutorial mission try1- failed miserably because by the time I finished fiddling with the basics and didn't realize your goal is simply to spam your entire build tree and nonstop units every map.
Tutorial mission try2- This kind of chaos should be reserved for later missions, after the player understands the basics and is ready to engage properly... but even at that it felt... lacking in some ways.
Tutorial missoin try3- I bought the missiles upgrade and went back here to just try them, since doing 20 damage instead of 3 felt like it needed testing- was there a firing delay? what was it's actual DPS like? was there a specific way to use it?

... No, it was just over 6 times stronger with nonstop constant firing, and turned the mission into a joke.

The RTS systems for an okay game are here, but the setup and layout of it currently just doesn't click into anything but the most basic gameplay, and for a game that was all about customizing your units to gain advantages, this feels deeply lacking when it all comes down to unitspam.

If you are looking for a cheap, RTS Lite, with a smattering of customization options then you might wants to check this game out. HOWEVER. Be warned that the Campaign missions, what hand full of them there is, are exceedingly difficult, even on the easiest setting. The AI of your own units will also often times be frustrating, as your units will tend to just sit there, and not do anything, while taking fire from the opponents. The game has promise, but needs a fair bit of work to make it really good.

It's not bad. Not enough mechanical diversity to keep me playing long enough to unlock all the different vehicle components. Some of the early customization options are interesting and strong, while some others are duds. I enjoyed the couple hours I spent with this game but can't see myself sinking a significant amount of time into it.

Kb az utolsó Command and Conquerok óta keresek egy jó RTS-t. Nekem minden azóta legyártott stratégiai játék egy szemét fos. na ez meg végre egy fasza stratégiai játék zúzós meg minden. Ne rémisszen meg hogy 3D stratégia, az irányitás számomra legjobb amit valaha RTS ben tapasztaltam. Nekem oan Starcraft meg Command and C keverék. 5 eu volt akciósan, qvára megéri.

모든 면에서 부실한 RTS 게임
게임을 진행하면서 머릿속 평가가 여러번 바뀌었는데, 결국 비추천으로 결정...

이 게임이 내세우는 매력은 파츠를 조합해
유닛을 구성하여 싸우는 자유도 높은 게임인데.
실제론 다양성에서 제약이 많다.

일단 파츠들이 하나같이 범용성없는 물건이라 사용할 수 있는 파츠가 한정적이다.
컨셉잡고 플레이하고 싶어도 화력에서 밀리니 별 수 있나.
비슷하게 유닛 조합의 자유도를 내세운 <임파서블 크리쳐스>와 비교하면 부끄러운 수준이고
유사 컨셉의 게임 <노바 1492>보다도 떨어진다.

#캠페인의 경우
생각없이 만들던 1900년대까지 RTS의 캠페인에서 발전이 없다.
이 게임은 기지 확장이 힘든 시스템인데 자원 위치가 본진에서 멀리 떨어져있는 건 일상,
'모든 적 기지 파괴' 라는 단조로운 목표는 모든 스테이지에 포함되어 있다...

난이도 밸러싱도 개판이라
컴퓨터와 물량전으로 넘어갔을 때 사실상 이길 수 없다.
그래서 공중 유닛을 활용한 적 생산기지지 테러가 고난이도에서 필수인데
이마저도 후반 스테이지에서 봉쇄당하니 답이 없다.

그리고 유닛 조합 파츠를 게임을 진행하면서 모은 포인트로 해금해야하는데...
멀티플레이와 캠페인이 같이 묶여있는 이상한 시스템으로 되어있다.
멀티에서 파츠 부족으로 밀리게 만드는 건 재정신인가 싶다.

- 어지간하면 게임에 하나 정도는 가치가 있다고 말하고 싶었는데, 이건 진짜 못 만든 물건이다.
- 그리고 캠페인 스토리는 대체 무슨 말이 하고 싶었던 걸까 ㅋㅋㅋ

A cheap C&C style RTS with the ability to customize your faction. The single player missions is good enough and varied to get a good handle on the mechanics. The resource gatherer AI is a little jank so expect to micro them.

I would say this game would be perfect to start a new profile (research point accrue on a faction profile) and play in a tourney style setting via LAN. The research is a bit of a grind for the last few techs, so in single player it forces you to play on harder difficulties.

So ultimately this is a good time waster for an occasional evening, or just want to play with synergies. Good value for the price especially if you get it on sale.

Gra opiera się na bardzo ciekawym koncepcie zbliżonym do rodzimego Earth 2150. Niestety jak w wielu przypadkach gdy brakuje pieniędzy albo czasu twórcą, mamy tu do czynienia z zmarnowanym potencjałem. Absolutnie niedopuszczalna jest również polityka wydawcy który w momencie wyjścia z early accesu zakończył wsparcie produkcji. Mam wrażenie, że wydanie kilku dodatkowych łatek mogłoby uczynić tę grę zdecydowanie lepszą. Tutaj Petroglyph się nie popisał. A szkoda.

Edit. Uwaga! Kilka lat po premierze pełnej wersji, twórcy zdecydowali się na aktualizowanie swojej produkcji. Sytuacja interesująca, być może w przyszłości pojawi się kila łatek, które zmienią ostateczny werdykt :)

Not really for players who like to build and expand bases. I almost don't recommend it but I did have some fun playing it.

The idea of picking different unit components is neat but the higher tier weapons don't seem to be any better. I suppose there may be different strategies to using these components but I don't really understand them. Additionally, those upgrades make your units locked behind more buildings and cost more money. Rockets seem OP.

The campaign is hard, especially 3v1 maps. Skirmish map AI don't seem as hard

I am a territory control / defense player which is a terrible strategy for this game. You pretty much have to rush/zerg/spam the enemy. The game often comes down to who runs out of resources. Once the AI is making long harvester treks for cash you win, unless you find yourself in the same situation heh.

When attacking, the various vehicle speeds mean that you really have to monitor your units as they attack, ensuring the right units stay in the right formation and target the right things. Healers are especially stupid and will often hang back too far or go in too far...

If you like zerging and micro managing a large unit army then this is probably a fun game for ya.

Già dai primi livelli vi dovete far venire un esaurimento per finire il livello!!!...fino al delirio della quinta missione!!?? : contemporaneamente contro 3 nemici!! su 4-5 fronti!! io sono riuscito a distruggerne 2 a llivello Facile, poi però arriva il Cattivone Generale Carter, con il carrarmato invincibile che spara borbardamenti nucleari!!!?? Quelli che pubblicano i video tutorial, sicuramente hanno delle versioni prototipo, che sono semplificate...bugiardi!! :)
