Первое, что я заметил, когда зашел в эту игру — это графика. Я понимаю, что игра старенькая, но эй, давайте будем честными, нам это не мешало на уроках информатики в школе, не так ли? Пиксели были в моде! И вот я вижу, как меня окружает игровое поле, покрытое загадочными цифрами и запутанными клетками. Каждая они выглядит так, будто кусочки головоломки осталось недосказать. Зная, что в каждой клеточке прячется невидимая угроза, я словно начинаю игру в "Тайны нации". Я такой: «О, что мы тут имеем?» Цифры и все такое… Это что, календара? Нет, это просто мои шансы на выживание!
И вот начинается веселье: я должен втыкать в эти клетки, как будто решаю задачу на экзамене по математике, и... БУМ! Мина! Чёрт! Как же так?! В момент, когда я нажимаю на клетку, где явно не ожидал взрыва, я понимаю, что "Сапер" — это не только игра, а настоящая проверка на терпение и жизненные навыки! Я должен разгадывать, как где-то под этими клетками витают бомбы, как будто в моем доме с подружкой, когда она решила оставить свои вещи на полу!
Но знаете, в этом есть что-то интересное: читать эти цифры и вычислять, где же спрятаны мины — это как играть в шпионские игры! Какой-то миссионер запутанных маршрутов! Златая охота на сокровища с этим чудесным детским азартом. Я прокладываю путь к победе, как будто собираю артефакты в шутере! Если ты хоть раз видишь цифру «1» рядом, это настолько же захватывающе, как если бы ты открыл страницу крутого комикса с супергероями!
В общем, если хочешь проверить свою интуицию, стратегическое мышление, и в то же время повеселиться, "Сапер" — это то, что надо! Не забывайте, что одно неверное движение — и вы расстаетесь с жизнью! И кто знал, что мины могут быть такими игривыми? Так что одевайте свои шпионские шляпы и готовьтесь к борьбе с минными полями. Помните, друзья, жизнь — это не всегда путь вокруг мин, иногда стоит просто рискнуть и пойти на них!

While the premise of the game is a new age version of Minesweeper, I just didn't find it challenging enough to really recommend.
In this iteration of the game, you have to find bombs by tagging areas that you believe are bombs and chipping away at the areas that are not bombs. Numbers will show up to let you know how many bombs surround the square that you've uncovered. Simple, basic concept of the well known game that this is made to be.
Additional things have been added to the game such as lives. You can even collect different bonuses to either recover your life entirely or add lives to your hit point counter so you can click on bombs and not die, but live to try another square. While this may add a quality of life it does not change anything else, hence makes the game even less of a challenge than the original game.
You can either play the main game or a custom game, the main game gets increasingly more difficult, while the custom game allows you to play one game and be out. Though overall, the custom games allow you to create impossible games that aren't even fun at all. For example, 36 squares with 34 bombs leaving you with 2 squares to click on. The first click is always clear of any bombs, so good luck finding the next square to click on out of the potentially 35 remaining squares. The game should have created a better ratio or a better ability to create custom games. Even the original Minesweeper did this better than this version of it.
As a whole there are much better games of this type out there that you can purchase such as Globesweeper. If you're into casual puzzle games, then go for it, if you are looking for a challenge, then look elsewhere.
Шикарная эволюция старого доброго сапёра. За много-много лет это второй вариант сапёра не от ms, который мне понравился. Первым был сапёр на Palm OS на трехмерных фигурах. Из минусов - кривой автоперевод на русский язык.

FineSweeper ist ein Rätsel-Spiel und im Prinzip eine weiter entwickelte Variante von Minesweeper, was alte Hasen noch kennen dürften. Junge Hasen können sicher auch Spaß an dem Spiel haben. Die Zahlen deuten an, wie viele Minen im Umfeld dieser Zahl sind, das heißt mit anderen Worten, wenn eine 1 zu sehen ist, dann ist eine Mine in den 8 Feldern um der Eins. Mit logischen Rückschlüssen kann man dann mehr und mehr vom Spielfeld aufdecken.
Grafisch ist das Spiel sehr rudimentär gehalten, wie Minesweeper damals eben auch. Mehr braucht es auch nicht. Dabei ist es aber optisch weitaus ansprechender als die alte Vorlage. Die Bomben sehen besser aus und die Explosionen auch. Auch soundtechnisch klingen die Explosionen besser, weil sie überhaupt klingen und im Hintergrund läuft eine Musik, die mit der Zeit ggf. nervig werden könnte.
Durch die Leben, die man bekommen kann, ist das Spiel nicht so unfair wie die ehemalige Variante. Manchmal kann man auch logischen Schlüssen nicht herausfinden, wo genau eine Bombe liegt. Dann muss man raten. Wenn man daneben liegt, werden die Zahlen angepasst, weil nun eine Bombe weniger auf dem Feld ist. Das finde ich sehr praktisch. Wer also den Klassiker damals sehr gut fand, der kann hier gerne zuschlagen. Es ist halt Minesweeper in guter Optik. Das möchte das Spiel sein und das ist das Spiel.

I love Minesweeper and have been wishing for a game that builds on the original in a way that feels significantly additive. This unfortunately is not that. Looking for regular Minesweeper with minimal added variation? Then this is it. But my quest for a true follow up to the original continues.

Ich kenne Pixel Prophecy von Twitter und Twitch, er hat mir das Spiel empfohlen als es im Sale war. Es ist sehr kurzweilig und witzig mit den ganzen Extras wie zusätzliche Leben sammeln und den verschiedenen Levels.
A fairly polished minesweeper game, it gives what it says on the tin, a seemingly endless queue of minesweeper boards.
Overall it feels like this game was made for the pro / competitive scene - as a casual player I found its UI, scoring and item systems overly strict to the degree that borders on player-hostile. Eg. you have a few seconds to grab items, and the game happily lets you waste items without explaining what they do.
I think the experience's most significant downside comes from the weakness of the minesweeper genre itself - namely that at a large proportion of games you are reduced to guessing, as there is no logical step forward. I think it's part of the reason why I prefer picross to minesweeper.
Still leaning towards a recommended rating, as Fine Sweeper does what it sets out to do, and at a competent quality.

It is minesweeper, the client is decent there is some general progression but the new mechanics this game adds aren't all that impactful or fun. Some of the achievements are good while others are pointless grindy achievements (takes about 2-3 hours to step on mines and farm flagged bombs)
I'm not exactly sure who is the target audience for this game. Competitive players play on minesweeper.online, if you want a total conversion game you should check out demoncrawl instead. The only reason for this game to exist is so your boomer dad doesn't have to play the terrible freemium minesweeper game that windows tries to push nowadays.

Je m'attendais à découvrir une modernisation du démineur avec quelques variantes sympas... finalement, c'est juste un démineur classique avec la possibilité d'avoir quelques vies en réserves. Concernant le mode "campagne", on progresse à travers des niveaux de plus en plus gros et à la fin, on rentre notre score dans les classements. J'aurais aimé avoir quelque chose de plus fantaisiste.

That was a great, addictive game. A bunch of challenging achs, luckily there're helpful guides and discussions, including dev's help. Gosh, I'm glad I finally beat it completely \o/ I really need to play similar games as rarely as possible, practically impossible to stop xD Anyway, thanks for it.
There's that state of being tired when I can't focus on reading my fav visual novels but not too exhausted to actually go to bed, that's where I could indulge myself in playing this. Plus, I could combine playing it and listening to different educational youtube viseos. So, it wasn't a complete waste of time. It always feels good for me when I can do effectively different activities.

Старый, добрый сапёр. Цель та же, что и была ранее - разминировать поле. Изменения коснулись графической составляющей и режимов игры, что довольно приятно отразилось на ней в общем. Для любителей достижений были добавлены 19 ачивок, некоторые из которых получить новичку без подсказок - просто нереально.
В целом игра хуже не стала, а даже наоборот - стала более приятной глазу, ну и ачивки добавились с режимами игры. На мой взгляд, цена конечно завышенная, ибо для чего переплачивать, когда есть бесплатная альтернатива, однако, если по скидке, то почему-бы и не купить...
玩法和window传统扫雷其实是一样的，打发时间还是OK的；
但是游戏后期二选一的情况实在太多了，满血状态都很难通关，只能建议多些血量，或者地图变大一点，体验上会更好一点。

Die bisher einzige Veröffentlichung von [url=https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Pixel%20Prophecy]Pixel Prophecy[/url] auf Steam, hüllt den Klassiker Mine Sweeper in ein neues Gewandt und bietet uns Dank ein paar Herausforderungen, die es zu erfüllen gilt um alle Errungenschaften zu erhalten, auch einen gewissen wettkampforientierten Modus. Das Spielprinzip selbst blieb gleich: Heißt man klickt auf einem Feld mit lauter versteckten Bomben herum und markiert diese anhand dessen was die freigeschalteten Zahlen einem sagen. Je weiter man kommt, desto komplizierter die Level - 50 an der Zahl. Doch in dieser Version hat man mit Herzen (=Leben) und anderen Gimmicks die Möglichkeit nicht beim ersten Fehltritt Game Over zu sein. Es ist diesbezüglich Benutzer freundlicher. Grafisch ist das Ganze eine 2D-Oberfläche und akustisch nichts Weltbewegendes.

Wer den Klassiker mochte, findet hier eine neue Herausforderung die optisch verbessert wurde. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt kontinuierlich und durch die Herausforderungen gibt es auch eine Art Wettbewerb. Insofern sind die 2,99 Euro ganz gut investiert, auch wenn man das Rad nicht neu erfindet. Circa 17 Stunden Spielzeit sprechen denke ich für sich!

If it wasn't obvious enough from the store page, Fine Sweeper could easily be called a clone of Minesweeper. But it's not quite a clone, it's a much improved variant that offers a greater sense of progression, less random failures (that aren't your fault) and numerous other (minor) improvements that total up to a much better game than the one it's cloned from.
If you already know what Minesweeper is and want a better version of it, this is a no brainer. It's a cheap and pleasant way to kill some time and play with brain teasing puzzles.
If you aren't familiar with Minesweeper, it's a classic game that used to be included with early versions of Windows operating systems to give people a fun way to practice their mouse clicking skills (yes, prior to a mouse being a ubiquitous and common tool, people honestly didn't know how to use the thing well). These days (for whatever reason) it's no longer included by default with Windows 10, but can be found for free through various sources.
Sometimes you just want a simple relaxing series of puzzles to chip away the hours.

EDIT: I've been playing this game a lot more lately. I guess I just have a thing for simple puzzles and minesweeper was something of an addiction 30 years ago, so here we are all over again. If I have one issue with this game it's the repetitive music. Of course, most of you already know how easy it is to solve that: Just turn down the music (not the sound effects) and listen to your own music.

For $3, its a pretty nice minesweeper game. Well, its minesweeper, that's what you can expect with that. Better than Microsoft's Minesweeper you can get from the Window's Store that'll blast your eardrums out with ads every few games. Screw you to whoever at Microsoft that incorporated blaring ads for slot games nobody cares about and rendering your ears useless.

Minesweeper with archievements, level progression and steam leaderboard. It let you have mistakes, not like the original version, so some people will like that and of course, purists wont.

It's much more fun than the default Windows game, Minesweeper!
If you know how to play the game, then you probably already know you like it. This game's levels of increasing difficulty challenge your math skills and thinking. I like to play no flags, but sometimes in the later levels its especially hard. The color changes in each level and the sounds also make this a whole more fun!

Did you enjoy minesweeper? This game is a minesweeper variant with extra features. You get lives, there’s score keeping and of course Achievements. As a fan of minesweeper I really enjoyed the game.
Gameplay - 9
This is a pretty niche type of game. If you don’t like minesweeper you probably won’t care for this game. If you have never played the game the basic idea is that you are sweeping for mines. You pick a square and if it’s not a mine. Good job. If it is you blow up. Now if it’s not a bomb it will either be a blank space or a space with a number in it. If it’s blank. Move on to another space. The number tells you how many mines are in the 8 squares around that 1 square. From there it’s just using logic to figure out where the mines are located.

Graphics - 8
Pretty decent, easy to read and there is no confusion. Not much else to say.
Controls - MouseKeyboard -10
You left click to uncover a single square, right click to mark mines. Left and right click on a number, that already has associated mines marked, and it’ll clear out all the area it can around.
That’s pretty much it, you can also mark ?’s but I take off that feature in options.
Repeatability - 8
It’s mine sweeper, you’re going to be playing the levels over and over. There’s an achievement to get to level 7 in less than 1 minute. Not impossible, but difficult enough that you’ll be playing the first 6 levels over and over a few times.
Music - ???
It’s there? Usually while gaming I listen to my own music, unless it’s a sound based game.
Multiplayer - N/A
Pretty sure there is not multiplayer, but there are online leaderboards.

Oh a minesweeper type game. I haven’t played that game since I was a kid. Interesting you can earn extra lives and such.

Normally I like to put in a good 10 or so hours into a game before reviewing it. However, this game is an easy exception. I’ve put 100’s if not 1000’s into the original minesweeper. I live an exciting life as you can tell.
The addition of extra lives is a good one, it’s frustrating to hit a mine because you made a stupid mistake and have to start all over. This is just a more forgiving version of minesweeper.
If you enjoyed minesweeper you might want to pick this up. If you like sudoku puzzles or any type of logic puzzles this is a game you will most likely enjoy. Also it’s 3 bucks. Not exactly breaking the bank here.

Best minesweeper game.
Totally love the BGM.
Right clicking the opened number can also automatically opens the remaining boxes, very helpful.
I love the idea of having lives, so that you get chance to click mines and not starting over, because it is very common to end up in an unsolvable situation that you have to depend on possibilities.
Also this game made it so that first click is guaranteed to be safe. Getting mine on first click is not very nice.
The thing I hate in this game is that there are 2 achievements that are very grindy.

If you liked Minesweeper, you'll like this game. A well-made, enjoyable re-make with a few extra features that make it more addicting (ie. campaign mode). And the music reminds me of Streets of Rage, which makes me happy.

I have to be honest, I hated the original game since it wasn't a puzzle game, it was a guessing game disguised as a puzzle game. You would get to points in the original where you just can't know what the right answer is and had to guess which more often than not would result in you blowing yourself up and starting over. Happily I can say that this version of Minesweeper is improved a lot from it's original 1989 counter-part.

[h1]Gameplay[/h1]
The gameplay of Minesweeper is where it really shines. As much as you can play many other copies of Minesweeper for free on the internet, this paid for version on steam introduces a few new features that really help the game elevate itself from it's thousands of copycats.
The way to win at this game is to empty out a grid where mines have been placed randomly around that grid. You click on one of these squares and it reveals an area with a number. These number indicate how many mines are in the surrounding area around that number. If a number is surrounded by 8 other squares and the number is 3 that means that 3 out of those 8 squares have bombs in them. By revealing more areas you gain more information that you can use to dig out the mines safely.

I like to put special emphasis on these new features since they are the only reason why I am not telling you to just play Minesweeper for free on the internet instead of paying 3€ for this steam version.
[b]Multiple lives[/b]
The inclusion of multiple lives makes it so that even if you do get to a point where you just have to guess it's not as devastating to get it wrong since you just lose one of multiple lives and can carry on instantly afterwards compared to the older ones that didn't allow you to make a single mistake. This feature fixed the biggest standing issue I had with the game.
[b]Collateral Damage[/b]
Something I really enjoy is that if you do get so unfortunate to click on a mine and it blows up, when it explodes it also destroys the surrounding squares except for other mines meaning it can reveal other mines for you if you mess up. I enjoy this but also am a bit conflicted since it kind of feels like you are being rewarded for being wrong by being shown where other mines are. I do think however that this is something that can be disabled/enable in the options menu so it's not a problem, but I still think this feature is nice for someone that might be struggling with a certain level, and speaking of levels.
[b]Levels[/b]
The first Minesweeper game I have played that actually have levels and a rise in difficulty. It works really great because it keeps the player engaged and is a great way to have levels that are better tailored towards a particular players skill level. This is a huge improvement from the other games that only have "Beginner, Intermediate and Expert". This allows for a much bigger ranger of maps and difficulties to suit other players.
[b]Powers[/b]
While clearing out a grid you can stumble upon hearts on the field, if you have made a mistake earlier in the game you can left click on the heart and it fills out one of your heart containers, alternatively if you right click on it it gets added to a meter at the bottom left corner that after you have gathered enough hearts can be used for powers that help clear the grid a bit easier. The more hearts you invest in the meter the better the power will be when you use it which I found myself ignoring since I would rather just get the health but if your health is full it might be a good investment in the long run!
[h1]Conclusion[/h1]
This game is great! I finally enjoy Minesweeper as a puzzle game and it feels really rewarding when you complete a level! This version has fixed long standing issues with the games and for that alone I think it is finally worth playing and even paying the little amount it asks for! I recommend!

Nice simple game to understand, hours of relaxed fun. The type of game you play if you are on the phone to someone or watching TV, as doesn't take up too much concentration. It's a multitask or contemplation time, type of game.
Only slight downside is the hidden achievement ' flag 50000 bombs'. this is going to take you a while, so if you are the type of person who doesn't normally bother to flag the bombs, i would get in the habit from the start - as will save you some time. But as this is the type of game you pick up every so often, it's not a big deal about the length of time as it always has continued playability to it, so will get them all in the end - just keep playing!

Je suis fan du démineur depuis que je l'ai découvert sur Windows 3.1... Ce jeu tout bête mais tellement addictif !
Du coup, j'en cherchais un sur Steam et je suis tombée récemment sur [i]Fine Sweeper[/i] qui me semblait être le plus ressemblant.
Et c'est exactement la même chose, mais en version moderne, avec quelques petits détails supplémentaires en mode campagne. Autrement, il y a le mode classique, sans bonus.
Je viens péniblement d'atteindre le niveau 66, mais je ne m'en lasse pas, ce jeu est excellent.

Chtěla jsem napsat nějakou bombovou recenzi, ale zrovna mě nic nenapadá, takže docela výbuch... Dobře, dobře, stačilo s těma slovníma hříčkama. Jak název napovídá, jde o staré dobré hledání min v novém pěkném kabátě, obohacené o pěknou hudbu, životy, kartičky, achievementy, nikdy se mi hra nesekala, ani jsem nenašla žádné bugy... Přesto pořád stejně frustrující jako kdysi dávno, když to byla jediná hra, co jsme jako malí usmrkanci na Widlích vůbec měli.
Un busca minas muy chulo y adictivo.

いろいろ考えてあるとは思うけど購入してまでプレイする内容かと思えば微妙..
救済ありで失敗しても即ゲームオーバーではありません。
まあどっかのバンドルに入っていれば試してもいいが購入をすすめる作品ではないですね。
PC標準やフリーで探せばいいかと思います。
今回難しかった実績..まあ簡単にする方法や効率を上げる方法を紹介しておきます。
後はそれほどでもなかった記憶..
Need 4 Sweep
一気にクリアせず、クリア毎に中断再開で
時間はなぜか増えてなかったのでこれで達成。
Lapse FrenzyとThe Fine Sweeper
こっちは動画あがってるのでそれを参照した方がいいかな。
50レベルクリアで7つぐらいライフのため込できるようになると思われます。
その状態でカスタムゲームで6x6、爆弾34個を作成します。
3×3で4つに分けて考えて各真ん中をクリック
最初は必ず成功するのでそれが7なら
空けた上下をクリックすればどちらかでクリアできます。
8なら3×3の3つの真ん中を押していけばどこかでクリアできます。
この時クリアしたとき全部に旗が立ちます。
これがThe Fine Sweeperにカウントされます。
Lapse Frenzyは爆弾を5000個踏むしかないのでこれをやってまず数を稼ぎます。
The Fine Sweeperが達成されれば半分は超えると思われるので
あとはひたすら爆弾を踏む作業実施...本格的にやり始めて1日で一応達成できました。
面倒ですけどね..

ライフ制を採用した以外はごく普通のマインスイーパー。
ライフが続く限り新しいステージに進むことができるものの、高レベル帯では自分の知っているセオリーでは太刀打ちできなくなり、結局は運頼みのゲームになってしまうのがちょっと物足りなかった。
とはいえ、40時間以上楽しめたので充分お勧めできます。

A fine version of Minesweeper, better than the windows version for sure unless you are a die hard fan of the traditional no options approach. I liked what this version could offer. But in the end, it couldn't hold my attention much more than original minesweeper did. Fun enough to try one day, but there are a lot more interesting games for me to play than this one, so I'm moving on. [3 / 5 stars].
Wirklich gutes Minesweeper Spiel! Für Leute die das Spiel gern spielen können bei 3€ nichts falsch machen. Es gibt ein globales Leaderboard das sehr motiviert und 3 Modi. Einmal der klassische mit einem Leben und einmal mit mehreren Leben. Das ist super für die nervigen 50/50 Chancen! Bei beiden spielt man von einem Level in den nächsten. Die werden stehts schwieriger. Der 3. Modus ist der Custom mode.
Fine Sweeper bietet auch alle Funktionen die man so kennt wie zB das Audecken aller umliegenden Felder wenn man alle Minen eines Zahlenfelds markiert hat. Desweiteren kann man das Aussehen etwas anpassen.
Das einzige, dass etwas stört sind die 2 Grind-Achievements die am Schluss übrig bleiben.
