A little girl was sleeping peacefully with her Teddy bear, when suddenly, a monster popped out from her cupboard then stole her favorite plush. When closing the door, the little girl awoke then got inside the cupboard. and was projected into a magical world, full of monsters and oddities. She must now explore this strange land and help its inhabitants in order to rescue her Teddy. Still one question remains: will she be able to go back to the real world ?

Finding Teddy is a Point & Click game with a cute design and interesting ideas sprinkled into the gameplay. Unfortunately some of the ideas not being properly introduced to the player, puts players in the dark and inevitably causes confusion. However, this problem doesn't feel like as obnoxious as it should have been, because game is really short; so there is a high chance you might be able to finish the game before it gets really annoying. Do not be afraid of checking guides though, because trust me it's definitely not on you. I still think it's a serviceable and a fun experience even with all of its problems.

Corto con interesantes puzzles de usar objetos A a personaje B en escenarios muy pequeños, junto con la formación de frases que se emplea de forma bastante criptica. Los escenarios son muy pequeños y los objetos tan limitados que es imposible perderse.

Para obtener todos los logros tienes que coleccionar todos los bocetos visuales del juego que se desbloquean muriendo contra los pocos enemigos que hay, coleccionando luciernagas (si no usas una guía se convierte en un juego de caza-pixeles en casi todas las pantallas) o rejugandolo en "new game +". Este ultimo modo te permite evitar algunos puzzles al ya saber "el abecdedatio musical", conseguir algunos secretos extra y un posible final alternativo en el que solo cambia cierto aspecto visual como referencia al meme de NyanCat.

Dado que lo he jugado integramente en la Steam Deck, solo plantea cierto problema de que no es tan facil abrir el modo "abecedario musical" debido al ratio de la pantalla. Sin embargo esto no afecta seriamente a la jugabilidad de este titulo.

卡在羽毛鸡一小时红温看了攻略，发现作者的小巧思感觉挺不错的，回顾一下倒也有不少提示，但实际游玩体验实在不敢恭维，首先映入眼帘的就是《音痴不得入内》几个大字，我是真的不理解为什么第一章青蛙和第二章鼹鼠还能给字母提示，卡在他们中间这羽毛鸡却直接一个字母都不给让我纯听音调判定单词，你这引导递进设计是不是有点问题啊，正常来说不应该青蛙给全字母给音调，羽毛鸡给一半字母和全部音调，最后鼹鼠只给音调这样的循序渐进吗，要是这个放后面几章还好说，放开头刚学会音乐就来个难度高的，而且我一个个硬对着音感觉差不多应该对上了，在羽毛鸡面前弹了一次一点反馈都没有我还以为我弹错了，没想到要直接跑对应场景开弹，你倒是先回答一下我弹的对不对啊，这对一个音痴来讲真的很重要啊，搞的我都不知道从何下手，反而第二章如过无人之境，第三章道具像素还出了问题，看道具完全想不到干嘛用的。

总体来讲，非英语玩家可能不太好get作者的思维，同时音痴玩家建议慎重，体验不太好。

Honestly, this game reminded me of old point-and-click adventures (for better or worse). Pick up random stuff, use the random stuff to open paths or get more random stuff, and die randomly to everything the first time you encounter them, Some of these puzzles(?) take leaps of logic and are a little non-intuitive, of course. Aside from that, the main puzzle element is through interpreting tones that are made throughout - eventually you'll figure out what they mean (probably - if you have the patience, anyways).

The story was very straightforward (the title of the game). The game's presentation makes up for the lack of story. As you play, you experience the adventurous and heartwarming vibe of the game. Just don't expect any comedy, as that is not any part of the experience.

The game is pretty short (1.5 hours for me), so maybe get it on sale, if you like this sort of game. However, I'm the type that is too impatient to enjoy all the tone matching and non-intuitive stuff, so I won't be recommending it.

Finding Teddy is a point and click adventure game where you play as a little girl who has to rescue her beloved teddy bear from a monster. To do so, she has to travel through a mysterious forest world and help its inhabitants.

I really struggled with the puzzles here, particularly the music puzzles. I didn't understand what they were going for until I looked it up. [spoiler] The first notes you get didn't look like letters to me until I read about it in a guide [/spoiler] The rest of the puzzles made somewhat more sense to me. I still ended up needing a lot of hints, but the answers are usually logical enough that a more patient player would probably have been able to figure them out alone.

The story is minimalist and very short, but I liked what we got. The little girl making friends with all the forest creatures is cute and I thought the ending was very sweet. The pixel art was also really cute and the music was very relaxing. I liked exploring the world, although in some places the map was a bit of a maze, and I liked the way the sound design was incorporated in finding the firefly collectables.

Overall, Finding Teddy was good. The puzzles were tough, but not poorly designed, and the story and atmosphere were pretty cute. 7/10

Жуть... 8 способов убить девочку (просто подходя к незнакомцу он её убивает жутким способом). Какой-то психоделический мрачняк в блеклых тонах и депресняк по истории. А рисунки в галерее это вообще писец полнейший.

Конец, он всё искуплял - все эти мытарства и поиски, скукоту повествования и решения музыкальных загадок (если бы сразу узнал что буквы на панели расположены в алфавитном порядке, то нахождение ещё не открытых нот было бы значительно проще и не пришлось бы искать перебором на слух) . Он такой жизнеутверждающий, добрый, тёплый. После него можно было выставить положительным отзыв. Но игрока заставляют проходить игру повторно - второй раз "новую игру +". Окажется она лишь пройдена на 90%. И можно подумать - неужели ещё не всё рассказано в истории!? Но нет, всего лишь изменив последнее обращение (в котором будет буква ни разу не используемая до этого) к тарантулу игроку покажут "альтернативные" титры где паук будет лететь как "NyanCat" из всем известного мема (заодно и в середине игры на кладбище попросить прощения у могилы, а ты поди ещё об этом догадайся, за что откроют недостающие рисунки в галерее). И ради этого ещё раз заставляют проходить.
Игра в некоторой степени музыкальная (потому что все загадки в игре на слух), но музыка в игре и звуки и в особенности эти самые "музыкальные буквы-ноты" которые ты должен слушать и определять по звуку качества отвратного. Плохо с аудио в общем. С визуалом тоже не очень, он такой себе паршивости, игра хрень и денег что за неё просят не стоит.

Puzzle game with nice pixel graphics.
Sadly near the mid of the game (which I reached in less than 1 hour) the puzzles are not based on logic anymore but you have to click on stuff or combine things in ways that are not clear or explained.

The "puzzle" that got me to quit was where you have to combine a fly companion with a cat companion so that the fly can move the cat up to a ledge. Apart from the fact that this makes no sense, it was also not clear to me that you can even combine companions. This is not how puzzles should work.

Also most of the game time is not spent on solving the puzzles but moving from room to room and each room takes a few seconds to load. As the graphics are minimalistic this feels like a try to stretch the short length of this game.

Милая и приятная головоломка на пару часиков. Заставляет вспомнить свое детство когда мы выдумывали фантастические миры и персонажей в нем, увы серая взрослая жизнь отнимает часть детской фантазии, и ты уже не с таким задором хочешь пофантазировать о сказочных мирах. Не помню где и когда откопал такую игру но определенно стоит хотяб чуть чуть ее пощупать. Есть головоломки на знания английского и музыкального слуха (на крайняк всегда есть руководства :3) Если и вернусь в игру то только для 100% прохождения, но приятное впечатление она о себе оставила.

Juego indie pixel art con buenos diseñas, básicos, pero buenos, de un mundo bizarro en el que manejas una nena, con point and click, buscando como avanzar, me gusto lo sangriento de las formas "de morir", no es muy intuitivo que digamos, algunas cosas salen solas, y otras es buscar y probar todo lo que se te ocurra, es incomoda la interpretación a ciegas de como interactuar con la mecánica de signos de música, y lo dejo porque me embolo...
Es un 2 de 10 a lo sumo, te tiene que gustar este estilo para darle mas bolilla

일단 정가는 비추, 50% 이상 할인은 추천.

인터페이스나 편의성이 굉장히 좋지 않다.

고양이와 날벌레를 선택해야 하는데, 계속 아이템박스가 열리는 점.

원하는 위치로 한번에 이동할 수 없어 의미 없는 곳을 계속 지나쳐야 한다는 점.

상호작용 오브젝트가 지나치게 한정되어 있다는 점 등이다.

이상한 나라의 엘리스나, 동화같은 분위기를 좋아하면 한 번 쯤 해볼만 하지만, 그외의 사람에게는 비추천.

Nice looking game, with an annoying sound design.
Since I am a musical analphabet I can't make out the right sounds for the musical puzzles. I really struggle in distinguishing musical notes, so this game is sadly not for me.

I would give it a neutral rating if I could, but since I can't, I don't recommend this game.

My rating 5/10, not recommended for people that have problems with musical puzzles.

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

J'ai personnellement adoré ce jeu dans l'entièreté malgré le fait que j'ai pu le détester au tout début.

La première fois que j'y ai joué, j'ai trouvé le jeu incompréhensible au niveau des énigmes musicales mais, une fois que j'ai compris que les [spoiler] notes de musiques n'étaient que des lettres et que je devais composer des mots [/spoiler], tout était plus simple et j'ai très vite adoré le concept.

L'histoire est très simple: un "monstre" kidnappe Teddy, l'ours en peluche de la petite fille et celle-ci doit le retrouver en bravant plusieurs dangers qu'elle devra passer grâce aux simples énigmes.

Les succès étaient très simples à récolter et j'ai trouvé amusant de tous les récupérer.

Le jeu étant en anglais seulement peut être un inconvénient en soit mais ce n'est pas trop handicapant si l'on a quelques bases.

Les graphismes sont jolis et le jeu requière même pas de posséder de carte graphique dédiée ni d'un ordinateur de dernière génération.

En bref, [i] Finding Teddy [/i] est un excellent jeu pour celui qui voudra faire l'effort de réfléchir un minimum et je vous le conseille fortement car j'y ai passé un très bon moment malgré quelques problèmes de compréhension au début.

Not my cup of tea.
It's not a bad game, the graphics are okay and the idea is kinda cute.

But I found it really annoying to walk from screen to screen and back and forth and back again. Even more annoying were the sounds some characters made (major point of the game and riddles but sounded simply awful to me).
I just finished it to get all achievements (using a guide, and it was a serious chore).

It looks like a nice little game with a good art style and interesting story premise.
The ending is wholesome. Sooo cute!
I really tried to enjoy it.

But a lot of things fall short or are buggy, and starts making the game annoying:

One BIG problem
-Sometimes when I “solved” a puzzle, the “solution” did not work, then I got stuck, so I went to look at a guide, found out that the solution was right, but that the game bugged. I don’t know what made it work later, maybe exiting the game, maybe leaving the screen and returning to try again. Happened to me three times: with the wasp’s flower, the sleepy mole, and getting the claw.

Lots of small problems
-There are only two types of puzzles.
-The twenty six music notes sound way too similar, they are all high pitched MIDI-like sounds.
-Some music notes look way too similar, H and I, M and N.
-The music played by other characters is on a loop with too small of a pause to know where the beginning and end are precisely.
-Clicking and unclicking on the girl, the pets, the items and objects behind the girl gets messy and doesn’t always work as intended.
-There is a lack of explanations, clues, hints.
-The part of the screen to click and open the music sheet is too small.
-Can’t change between windowed and full screen during gameplay.

Honestly, I can't say that I liked Finding Teddy. While the pixel art is rather nice, that's the only good thing I can really say about it. This story about a little girl rescuing her teddy bear in a fantasy world isn't really well developed, the puzzles are kind of mediocre, and the soundtrack is pretty bland. I cannot recommend this game to even the most die hard point and click fans.

Ganhei a chave desse jogo no site da Indiegala. Jogo de puzzles bem divertido e curto. Tranquilo de conseguir as conquistas. Tem que prestar bastante atenção nas dicas dos cenários (principalmente nas notas musicais). É necessário zerar duas vezes para conseguir todas as conquistas, mas a segunda vez não passa de 10 minutos. Recomendo.

Il gioco è estremamente carino, soprattutto è originale. L'originalità sta nel fatto che Finding Teddy è un'avventura grafica basata sul riconoscimento dei suoni e delle note - motivo per cui non mi sento di consigliarlo a tutti, ma solo a chi pensa di avere un minimo di orecchio musicale - con elementi definibili horror immersi però in un'atmosfera magica, che ci appare surreale. Il gioco infatti non vuole spaventare, ma ha come obbiettivo il puro proseguimento della ricerca di Teddy, l'orsacchiotto di peluche della nostra protagonista. Come accennavo prima, credo che in alcune parti del gioco sia necessaria la capacità di riconoscere le note a orecchio. Io ho avuto qualche problema e mi sono affidata a una guida che mi ha aiutata nei momenti di spaesamento.

L'unica vera pecca che mi sento rimproverare al gioco è la completa assenza di informazioni, di introduzione alle meccaniche, che ci lascia non poco sperduti finché non capiamo alcuni meccanismi.

Detto questo, il gioco è una piccola chicca e credo possa far passare un bel pomeriggio a tante altre persone. Buona giocata!

An excellent short game that tells us about the adventures of a little girl in a fairy-tale world filled with music. In addition to the main task - We can complete several secondary tasks to get achievements. And with the second passage - to get a modified final scene.
The gameplay is simple, by means of mouse clicks - we can move the heroine from key points to the task and exits from the location. In some places, you can try to find hidden fireflies. True, they are placed terribly inconveniently, in connection with which you will often call the melody panel or drive the character out of the location. By the way, because of the exit from the location, you can catch an unpleasant bug that made me go through the game three times. Namely - if you find a firefly and (what the hell!) leave the location, then it will not be counted as "caught" to you. And when you return back - the location will again "sound" telling you that the firefly hid again. But here's the problem - you won't be able to activate it again. And therefore it will be simply impossible to collect it in the collection! Just a complete restart.
The second moment that disappointed me was the search for a melody. When meeting with some characters - we will be able to learn new melodies. True - they only sound - without symbols. Therefore, the player needs to "pick up" the musical word in order to understand it. The problem lies in two things at once. The first is the background melody, which is distracting and makes it difficult to concentrate on the notes. And the second is the lack of a musical ear. And since many notes sound almost the same in the game, you will either have to guess the meaning of the "word", or just peep in the walkthrough.
Otherwise, the game is short and takes just half an hour.
Recommended to the collection of lovers of quests.

本作是像素風格的解謎遊戲。畫風清新可愛，但這也是遊戲唯一的優點。

首先，進入遊戲畫面就發現了問題，遊戲預設全螢幕，但是按 Alt+Tab 卻無法跳出遊戲畫面，而按 Esc 竟然會直接關閉遊戲，這到底是什麼古代設計。

再來，我剛進遊戲拿起手把操作，我發現方向鍵為什麼怎麼按都沒有作用；後來我才發現這是一款鼠標點擊遊戲，而且並不是點擊地面的任何位置主角都會移動。做個教學很困難？

接著來談遊戲互動的 Bug。當我選取物品 A，想切換物品 B 時，常常會出錯不讓我切換。還有，當我選取物品想和背景互動時，系統常常將我選取物品的狀態擅自取消掉。互動的範圍也有重疊的問題，我點擊了寵物貓，時常會同時點到主角使物品欄開啟。這些 bug 長久下來，嚴重影響了遊玩體驗。

最後，是我最討厭的設計，音符謎題。主角在遊戲不久後會獲得演奏的能力，已知曉的音符種類會直接顯示，尚未知曉的音符會呈現圓點形狀；而音符謎題的核心，竟然是讓玩家從動物的演奏音符，「去猜尚未獲得的音符」，這到底是什麼爛設計。正常的謎題設計，應該是讓動物演奏(但不出現音符)，玩家必須從已知曉的音符去組出完整曲子吧？還有，遊戲把身為謎題核心的音符，散佈在遊戲世界的背景角落，我傻傻地照著演奏，才發現那只是單純的背景，這簡直是喪心病狂的設計。

Finding Teddy is an okay short, point and click adventure game, so the story. On a dark night a little girl was sleeping soundly in bed with her teddy bear but then a monster came and took it now the girl will do anything to get her Teddy back.

All right let’s talk about the likes, the graphics for the game are good I definitely love the pixel art look to it, it's simple yet has a lot of detail and color. The levels in the game are nice; they have their own unique look with some nice backgrounds. The gameplay is okay, it’s a very simple bare bones point and click game, but that was not a bad thing. The story was simple and sweet, the music was good and has some nice tracks. The puzzles in the game were a mixed bag some were good others not good.

The death animation you can get was nice and gruesome, but the thing I really loved about the game was the gallery mode it was really good and the art was downright creepy and adorable.

All right let’s talk about the dislikes, will there is one thing I did not like about the game and it was the musical puzzles they were kind of a pain and hard to read.

Finding Teddy is an okay short, point and click adventure game, it just has good graphics, okay gameplay and a really good gallery mode, so if you're looking for a simple point-and-click game this could be for you.
