Дуже колоритна словацька JRPG (ну чи просто покрокова, називайте як знаєте). Історія наповнена політикою часів Австро-Угорської імперії, окультизмом, алкоголізмом, жартами та відсилками на словацьку культуру, яких я не розумію. Вона коротка, але дуже насичена, загалом не складна в освоєнні - я особисто не фанат цього жанру, але події тримали мене зацікавленим достатньо, щоб насолодитися. Окремо хочу подякувати команді, яка робила українську локалізацію - вона тут просто шедевральна, наповнена діалектизмами та цікавими словами. Проект зроблений з душею, однозначно рекомендую!

Destacado en su narrativa, música , apartado artístico y, sobre todo, un humor bien puesto.
está hecho en rpg maker y me encantó sin ser un seguidor de este estilo de juegos, solo la atmosfera y la personalidad de todos los diálogos es suficiente para terminar amando esta historia caballeresca-eslovaca-lovecraftniana.

Ледве не найкраща гра на RPG Maker, яку я бачив за своє життя. Не особливо довга, досить лінійна, проте не душна. Годин на 5 – саме те. Немає грінду, є яка-не-яка система виборів, що дає змогу вплинути на долю деяких персонажів. Присутній лютєйший вайбік, хороша музика, прикольний стиль і екс-хрестоносець-алкаш – ну, я не знаю, що ще треба дітям, щоб вони ідеально жили… Є проблема в розкритті персонажів, проте жити можна. Більше розписувати саме про гру не буду – візьміть краще на хорошій знижці й пробіжіть самі, тим паче, що тут є українська (хоч і з помилками).

Відсутня адекватна взаємодія з магазином на момент написання кома, в особливості – із стімовським оверлеєм, тому пропоную такий варік:

[*]жмакать кнопку Параметри (шестерня) і на Властивості;
[*]зразу в першому вікні, в Параметрах запуску, вкиньте наступну команду без лапок "--in-process-gpu".

Це ввімкне вам оверлей, проте він буде кривий, тому якщо плануєте [u]робити скріни[/u], вам [u]варто[/u] спочатку перевірити чи у вас вимкнені в настройках оверлею: повідомлення про зроблений скрін та лічильник фпс. Потім, перед місцем, яке ви плануєте зняти, зайти в налаштування й перезапустити повний екран. Після перезапуску й до моменту натискання F12 не вмикайте оверлей. В іншому ж випадку на скріні будуть куски оверлею по бокам, що досить неприємно. Ачівок теж немає, але біс із ними. Всім добра.

Небольшая игрушка на 5 часов, которая стоит вашего внимания, особенно если вы любитель средневековья и древнерусского языка, кстати советую скачать фанатский перевод, там больше приколов, нежели в официальном переводе.

Игра зацепила меня колоритными персонажами, и интересным сюжетом, в игре так же есть детали, которые можно по случайности (или нет) пропустить при первом прохождении, у игры необычный визуальный стиль, но мне он лично понравился. Музыка в игре хорошая, вероятно несколько песен попадут к вам в плейлист.

우선 한글 없고, 한글 패치도 ai 딸깍이라 생각을 좀 하면서 해야 하며, 꽤 불친절하기도 해서 여기저기 돌아다니면서 해야 하기도 합니다. 그래픽도 좋은 편은 아니지만 개성으로 받아들이고, 스토리 역시 기존 JRPG의 결과 다르다는 점을 장점으로 받아들일 수 있다면 가격 대비 꽤 괜찮은 게임이 될 수도 있을 것 같아요.

전투는 심볼 인카운트지만 꽤 많이 답답해요 마나는 적고, 팀 인원도 적고, 적이 기절 상태이상을 꽤 자주 걸거든요. 팀 인원이 초중반까지는 2명이라 상태이상 풀다가 또 처맞아서 소비 아이템으로 해결하기도 어려워요. 또 앞서 말한 것처럼 마나가 적어서 전투 한 번 교회 한 번 전투 한 번 교회 한 번 이런 식으로 뺑뻉이를 돌아야 하기도 합니다. 기절 면역 장비는 거의 후반에 얻을 수 있어 그냥 걸리면 걸리는 대로 짜증나네.. 하면서 해야 해요. 팁이라고 한다면 소비 아이템 중에 소형 폭탄이 매우 좋은 아이템이고 얻을 기회도 많지 않으니 꼭 필요할 때만 사용하라는 것 정도.

텍스트가 좀 있는데도 스토리가 아리까리한데, 엉망인 번역의 비중이 큰 것 같습니다. 그렇다고 게임사에서 자체적으로 해놓은 번역이 아니라, 그것만으로 비추를 주기는 어려울 것 같아 엔딩까지 어떻게든 달리고 리뷰 수정합니다. 3~4시간이면 깨니까 궁금하신 분들은 해보셔도 좋을 거 같아요. 한패가 ai버전이라 영어나 일본어로 도전하실 분도 있으실 텐데, 텍스트가 꽤 있는 편이라 외국어 실력에 따라 늘어짐 정도의 차이가 클 것 같습니다.

비슷한 플탐을 가진 JRPG 중에 더 추천할 만한 게임이 분명 있지만, 뭔가 그래픽과 분위기만으로도 새로운 경험이 "일단은" 되는 것 같아 추천해둡니다.
그래도 가급적, 외국어 실력이 충분히 받쳐주시는 분들이나, 게임사 또는 유저 자체 한글 패치가 제대로 나오면 그때 하시는 게 좋을 거 같아요.

- Great visuals
- Charming dialogue that really challenged me with its old English style
## Okay:
- The turn-based combat is fine, although I would have liked for the characters to have more tools (mana) to cast spells (special attacks), so I don't resort to normal attacking the enemies after 2 special attacks. What I'm asking for is a bigger mana pool, not necessarily a bigger mana regeneration factor.
## Bad:
- Low variety of areas
- Too much backtracking
- I liked what little OST is here, but it gets repetitive quickly
- Really low playtime for this type of RPG. I would have liked to spend more time with the characters in more locations within a longer story.
## Conclusion:
I liked the experience, but this plays too much like a demo, so I cannot whole-heartedly recommend this. If you like the art style, I say go for it, but it certainly isn't for everybody.

ADHD Version: Game is an underrated gem and is absolutely worth your time.

- PROS -
Intriguing story
BALLER soundtrack/sound design
Unique art style, especially the cutscenes
Combat animations and character designs are distinct and well crafted
Actually funny jokes (none of that Marvel bs)

- CONS -
Possible to screw yourself if you don't prepare for combat encounters properly
Combat MAY begin to feel repetitive near the end

(NO SPOILERS) Everyone else: Worth every penny, especially at a time when AI slop and $70 re-releases exist. Indie projects like these deserve credit for making an actual GAME, not simply a product. Took me about 6 hours of thorough exploration and gameplay to finish the story, and I still missed a few things. Speaking of gameplay, I do think it is varied enough and properly paced to be enjoyable. This isn't a "speedrun in an evening and move on the the next indie title" type of game. The world building hooked me enough to wander and explore as much as I could, and said exploration led to unique encounters, better gear, or sometimes nothing at all. Felvidek stands out in an industry of oversaturated, low quality cash grabs as a title that does what it says on the tin, and doesn't overstay its welcome. I think if you've been around this medium as long as I have, or even if you just feel disillusioned with modern titles in general, $10 is a drop in the bucket compared to the quality of this game.

(Little rant) For context, I've got about +110,000gs on Xbox, so I've played a few games before. I've seen a few videos critiquing certain aspects of the game, and while some points are more valid than others, I think sometimes we forget to enjoy art for what it is. I think the positive feedback loop of critical review leads to over analyzing a game and picking it apart limb by limb. The defining attribute of TRUE art is that, from conception to completion, the artist alone holds the brush. I think healthy and constructive feedback is needed to further refine a craft, but it becomes difficult to objectively critique such a subjective medium. When you become so used to viewing every little detail of painting through a microscopic lens, leisure begins to feel more like a chore than an outlet for creativity. I guess my point is that from a viewers perspective, it's important to understand the difference between, "this painting IS torn" and "this painting LOOKS torn." One is a mistake, the other may be a creative decision that's misinterpreted as a mistake.

Люблю тематику средневековья. Эта игра была лично для меня чем то новым в плане механики боев. Сюжет хороший, да и в некоторых местах юмор был смешным. Интересно решили сделать графику пиксельную, отдает настроением чего то старого. Будто бы игре уже лет 20+. Так же не могу не отметить просто прекрасные саундтреки, в некоторых моментах было реально весьма тревожно играть из за них). Жалко что игра весьма короткая, хотелось бы насладиться ею еще. К покупке рекомендую.

This is such a quirky bizarre RPG. It's not very long it's certainly not very deep in its gameplay but the writing and presentation make up for that forming. It had some genuinely laugh out loud funny moments and for that it's worth it for the price.

tl;dr Береш по знижці, обираєш українську мову на старті, балдєєш цілий вечір

На сторінці в крамниці пише, що гра вийшла в 2024 році, але вайби в неї такі, наче це lost media, зроблена у 90ті шизоїдним японцем, що фанатіє від середньовічної Словаччини і регулярно вживає кислоту. І наче саме цією грою надихались одночасно розробники Кінгдом Кама та Діско Елізіума.

Гейплей доволі моцний, буквально нічого лишнього. Анімації та художній стиль дуже круті та самобутні, музика це бедтріп в найкращому сенсі цього слова. Сюжет спойлерити не буду, але скажу що гра доволі коротка (буквально на один вечір), але кайфова. Наче прочитав невелику книжку, яку запам'ятаєш на все життя.

Окремо хочу виділити абсолютно неймовірну українську локалізацію, низький уклін авторам

Take of the role of an alcoholic knight in 15th century Slovakia in this JRPG of fighting against Hussites, Ottomans, and cultists seeking to take your homeland.

Play as Pavol, an alcoholic knight who is forlorn over a woman spurning his love, having to get his act together in order to help fight against a variety of invaders in this short Slavic RPG. Explore a world done in a lovely pixel art style that captures the atmosphere and feel of the setting and times wonderfully. Language, phrasing, and use of religion goes a long way to bringing the world of Felvidek to life, adding a layer of charm I couldn't imagine this game without.

Gameplay will have you engaging in JRPG style battles, choosing to attack, use an ability, or item from your inventory. There isn't any kind of experience or levelling, instead gaining coin to purchase better equipment to upgrade your stats, and give you new abilities depending on the weapons, armour, and defensive items you have equipped. Your team is made up of different characters you encounter during your travels, adding in a priest that can heal you, a thief, other knights, and even more generic placeholder style teammates if you don't find certain teammates.

Much of your time will be spent investigating a cult infiltrating the land, spreading their influence, as well as seeds corrupted with evil that cause mutation. The execution of this particular story element is really well done, hooking me in pretty fast.

Felvidek isn't a terrible long game, being around five-to-six hours to get through, so it doesn't overstay its welcome, even though I wouldn't have minded things being more fleshed out. I'd absolutely recommend checking this one out, as it is a very unique JRPG style experience.

I'd say the game is around a 7/10
The artstyle is very nice and I found the dialogue entertaining, the combat mechanics are nice and the map layout is good too
the music is good, but around the end of the game it doesn't sound as good as before
I liked the characters
villains were kinda meh though, the game doesn't give much time to expand upon it's mechanics, while they've got a good system going on there's very few things that actually change about it, and the game feels rushed, there's a small amount of weapons and feints, not too much variety with enemies and the storyline could definitely be expanded upon
the game itself is overall good, but there's so much more they could've done with it

Felvidek is a fantastic pocket-sized rpg with a unique medieval eastern European settling which you hardly ever see in other games. It was overflowing with charm in art, story, gameplay, and music. I payed the whole thing on Steam Deck and would highly recommend for that platform if you have it, given that the whole game is incredibly easy to pick up and play whenever/wherever you are. If you like classic-style rpgs and just want a short adventure, I highly recommend you give this one a shot, even if you only found yourself intrigued by the store page like I did. Well worth the price!

Потрясающе атмосферная игра. Мир и сюжет очень камерные, а потому очень насыщенные. В каждом уголке тебя ждёт что-то новое. Отличные диалоги, складные и смешные. Музыка, по началу, сбивает с толку, ждёшь что-то более стереотипно средневековое, но потом привыкаешь и начинаешь ловить дикий кайф. Музыка здесь показывает не локацию или ситуацию, а настроение. И это тоже очень круто.

Отличный визуальный стиль, чёрный юмор вперемешку с религиозными мотивами, пьянством, средневековьем и культистами, хороший саундтрек. Если честно, не ожидал такого алмаза, когда впервые запускал игру, однозначные 10 из 10, любителям игр на RPGmaker или просто классических JRPG точно должно понравиться.

Ощущается как игра с культурным кодом восточной европы, и не потому что "хаха чувак бухает ето же диски и лизиум!"
Довольно забавно, легко, широкими мазками - как то так воспринимается сюжет. Интересно, что в отзывах довольно много писали про юмор - я ожидал другого, но каким то образом формула сработала. Визуальные решения миленькие, изобретательные. ЖРПГ без прокачки - нуу работает как и ожидалось, на пределе для горизонта в 5 часов геймплея.
Сподобитесь поиграть - не забудьте прихватить на финальный бой кашу.

Paguei barato, levei apenas 7-8 Horas para finalizar o game, porem me surpreendo com a qualidade e a historia desse jogo que passei um ano pensando em jogar, me diverti, aprendi e tenho vontade de jogar denovo em outra ocasiao, em uma dificuldade mais alta. Simplesmente incrivel e vale cada centavo.

Абсолютно уморительная игра с шикарными диалогами и приятным звуком. Самое то если хотите просто расслабиться и не забивать себе голову сложным геймплеем. Проходится быстро и оставляет исключительно приятные эмоции, рекомендую.

Particolare, corto e forse leggermente ripetitivo, ma se lo trovate a sconto (ma anche a prezzo pieno vale la pena) e' una piccola esperienza che sicuramente consiglio.

Felvidek is a shining beacon of hope in the muddy bogs of recent Slovak art and culture and as ridiculous as it may seem, it made me proud of Slovakia for the first time in years. As someone who also would like to study art, it inspires me greatly that maybe one day I could be a part of something as fascinating and beautiful as this. The dialog is an absolute gem in every aspect, the story sucks you in in a way where you want to know more and more, and the comedy is just perfect - timing, execution, everything. The characters, seemingly simple at first, become so much more throughout the game and it's difficult not to become attached to them. I'm generally not very "good at games", but Felvidek is scaled *just* right where it's not insanely difficult, but it's not exactly a walk in a park so it's actually really fun instead of a drag. To be honest, it awakened feelings in me that I last felt while playing Undertale in 2017/2018, so I'd say it's a pretty good game. 11 bottles of frndžalica out of 10 lekvárov.

10/10 Frndžalica. ос трапилось що сє тре тобі бога якого згинути то запий той жах фрнджаліцою. кожен ковток то є до прірви крок, жоден бог не подужа того перегару, що вил'зе з pokol в твоїй пиці.

окрема вдячнісь тим, хто працював над локазіацією - це просто божевілля, як вони передали атмосферу гри.

Про то, что игра хороша и стоит того, чтобы в неё поиграть, особо расписывать не буду, моё мнение понятно по синей плашечке отзыва, скажу лучше вот что - композитору руки целовала, саунды здесь вкуснейшие, а тема из главного меню меня излечила и подарила годовой запас сваги.

Игра не предоставляет вариативности в отыгрыше, не повествует о судьбе великого героя, игрок просто наблюдает за небольшим кусочком жизни персонажей и повествование как будто бы начинается из ниоткуда и уходит в никуда и в этом заключается прелесть игры. В том, что нам дают подглядеть за рутиной персонажей и не мешать им. Всё идет своим чередом.

Визуальный стиль весьма самобытен, музыка прекрасно подходит под ситуации, а шутки дополняют картину. Сейвы разбросаны по повествованию щедро и не душат.

An impressive blend of dark fantasy and comedy!

The Story is really well told, even if the archaic English can sometimes be hard to follow. I do think however that it does add to the over the top presentation that this title offers. The characters are all so fun to interact with adding a comedic tone to the experience and heightening the overall zaniness of the game.

The Setting is very much going for a more historical look which works for the narrative and presentation this game is going for. While level design is as good as an rpgmaker game can get, I do appreciate the many locations that I was able to explore.

Visually, it’s striking. Performance was solid throughout and I didn’t run into any bugs or glitches. I also primarily played this on the steam deck and it’s a perfect way to experience this title. The Art Direction is one of the strengths of this game with it blending PS1 graphics, monochrome colour pallet and historical imagery to present one of the most unique looking games I’ve played since Hylics. Also the cutscenes were a real treat to watch an would have loved more.

Sound and Audio are as wild as the rest of the game with the soundtrack being a wild collaboration of psychedelic and jazz rock that works with its zaniness and the Audio also adding a comedic value to the experience, especially when killing enemies.

In terms of Gameplay, it’s what you would expect from an rpgmaker game. While I don’t want to repeat the same mechanics that many games of this engine have, I will say that I really appreciate the amount of side quest and interactions that the game offers which was always fun to experience. I also think that the runtime is just the right amount, even if the combat becomes a little stale towards the end.

Overall, Felvidek is another example of developers pushing the limits of rpgmaker to produce some of the most entrancing and other worldly experiences that gaming has to offer!

Unique setting, dense dialogue, many surprising turns. Combat is on the easy side, for a "JRPG" I was prepared for a little more grinding, overall playtime could be padded out this way. Completed the game in roughly 6 hours. Art style is on point, limited colour palette also fit the vibe. I'd play a Felvidek 2, absolutely.
