I haven't bought a F1 game in a long time. As much as i like this game i can see EA's subtle jabs at microtransactions. Also the break point story seemed forced so i won't be playing that. The only reason i am giving this game a positive review is because the physics of this game are really good and this game allows you to entirely ignore the story. The penalty system can also use some work as it usually is very lenient to AI's, i can't count how many times AI has rammed me from the side in a turn and has gotten away with it, come to think of it i have seen AI get a penalty only one time.

Overall this game is very good if you can ignore the story.

Loading times are lowkey crazy and there can be issues with inviting friends. Plus I hate how often it connects to the online services. Although all that said this game is so fun. Driving is peak and my friend and I are having a ton of fun on two player career mode.

I've been playing the career mode for this game so far and i must say, it is much more in depth than I had thought it would be. You can upgrade the car throughout the year, you have a driver rating and rivalry's between teamates and other drivers, and so much more. It has a wide range of skill to offer from the ai's. I started my first race with oliver bearman and qualied 8.25 seconds ahead of second, so the game can be set to a rather easy mode for beginners to racing games. Overall a realy fun game and would recommend to all people who like racing games, or f1.

In my opinion, this is one of the best racing games, especially if you play with a steering wheel, but it’s also very fun on a controller. Unfortunately, this is my first F1 game, so I can’t really compare it to the previous ones. However, this game looks amazing and very realistic. The driving physics and steering feel smooth and very satisfying. It’s really fun to play and definitely worth the price. I recommend it to all racing game fans :)

游戏5星游戏，EA反作弊扣2分，各种不同的闪退扣3分，总分0分，我16G内存，5060显卡8G显存，应该可以玩吧，每次进游戏就是各种不同的状况，一开始还好能玩，就是有概率进动画闪退，后面就完了，一会反作弊不行，一会进游戏黑屏闪退，一会又卡载入界面，我加速EA，F1 25，弄虚拟内存，游戏删了重下，尝试各种，我之前在EA平台玩战地就很垃圾，但是至少还能玩，没想到这次F1 25这么垃圾！差评！根本玩不了！15小时有一半是在卡界面！

The amount of effortr EA puts into this game is absolutely mind blowing. This game is top 10 in terms of loading screen simulators. If i want to check my mail, i need to communciate, if i want to close my mail i need to communicate. On average, the process takes about 10 minutes. Ive spent 360 hours on this game, 10 of it was actually driving, the rest was a black screen, communicating with the servers, joining server. Overall would reccomend to someone who likes loading screen or has servere ADHD, you can watch reels whilst the game loads. Unlike class, you wont miss anything important. From the bottom of me heart, thank you to the people back at the EA factory. - LH

im trying to run f1 25 on my computer via steam but i keep getting a message upon starting the game about "this software cannot be used at the same time as the game" then mentions rewasd and daemon tools.

i've already watched tutorials online on how to disable this, but nothing comes up in task manager and everything is disables in device manager. help me get over this.

What you’re running into is almost certainly the game’s anti-cheat system (EA Sports WRC / F1 titles use EA Anti-Cheat), which blocks certain software like reWASD and Daemon Tools because they can be used to emulate inputs or virtual drives.

Even if you don’t see them running, parts of them can still be active at a low level (services/drivers), which is why Task Manager isn’t helping.

Here’s how to actually fix it:

🔧 1. Fully remove reWASD remnants

Even after uninstalling, reWASD leaves drivers behind.

Do this:
Press Win + R → type services.msc
Look for anything like:
reWASD Service
reWASD Virtual Controller
If found:
Stop the service
Set Startup Type → Disabled

Then:

Open Device Manager
Click View → Show hidden devices
Expand:
Human Interface Devices
System Devices
Remove anything related to reWASD (virtual controller entries)
💿 2. Remove Daemon Tools drivers (THIS is usually the culprit)

Even if the app is gone, its driver often remains.

Method A (easy):
Uninstall Daemon Tools completely if it’s still installed
Method B (important):
Open Command Prompt as admin

Run:

sc query type= driver
Look for anything like:
dtsoftbus01
dtsoftbus02

If you find them:

sc stop dtsoftbus01
sc delete dtsoftbus01

(Repeat for any similar entries)

🧠 3. Clean boot (to catch hidden conflicts)

This helps confirm if something invisible is running.

Press Win + R → msconfig
Go to Services
Check Hide all Microsoft services
Click Disable all
Go to Startup → open Task Manager → disable everything
Restart PC

Then try launching F1 25

🛡️ 4. Reinstall EA Anti-Cheat

Corruption can cause false positives.

Go to your game folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\F1 25\__Installer\EAAntiCheat
Run EAAntiCheatInstaller.exe
Uninstall for F1 25
Reinstall it
🔍 5. Check for other flagged software

Even if you never installed reWASD/Daemon Tools recently, similar tools can trigger it:

DS4Windows
InputMapper
Virtual controller drivers
Other ISO mounting tools
🚨 If it STILL happens

Then something is definitely lingering at the driver level.

Two stronger options:

Use Autoruns (Microsoft Sysinternals) → check Drivers tab for anything suspicious
Or temporarily:
Create a fresh Windows user account and test there
💬 Quick sanity check

Answer these and I can narrow it down fast:

Did you ever install reWASD or Daemon Tools on this PC?
Are you using a controller (PS5/Xbox) with any custom software?
Does the error pop up instantly, or after anti-cheat loads?

Tsunoda killed me in F1 2025 at this point like 7 times. Antonelli drives like he is doing hot lap on Qualification and there is no one else on track. Bortolleto seems to have a magnetic connection with my wheels. This is in multiplayer with friends in lobby. Noone else has these problems.

This game was fun when it started up the first time and then when I came back the next day it went to a black screen and wouldn't work again. I tried all the work arounds and nothing so my review is not positive since the game doesn't work for me. At this point I can't buy EA games on pc since they often don't work or you have to find crazy ways to make it work on your system. It's to much to do when they charge money for a game that shouldn't have these issues. I'm running high end gear and can't play the game. I am requesting a refund due to not being able to play the game but if you can get it working its quite fun. As for myself I am disappointed since I purchased a sim racing bundle but can't play the game. Sad!!!

From the little I've played the game feels nice, the handling on controller is pretty fun and on discount I would say grab it, its a lot more snappier then f1 24 and the AI has improved, still dumb as ♥♥♥♥ but aware of you on track which is cool.
Also making 3 tracks only reversed is kinda cringe ngl, I wanna race SPA reverse twin.

I couldn’t even get the game to run properly. Black screen on launch, no sound, and when it finally got into the menu it was laggy and unstable. This isn’t a minor issue, it’s basic functionality failing.

For context, every other game I run works perfectly. GTA V, Sniper Elite 5, etc. No tweaks, no workarounds, no nonsense. Install, launch, play. F1 25 is the complete opposite. It feels like you’re expected to troubleshoot the game just to get it into a usable state.

I’m not going to waste time reinstalling drivers, editing config files, or forcing settings just to make a full-price game function. That’s the developer’s job, not mine.

Didn’t even get far enough to judge gameplay properly because the technical state is that poor. That alone says everything.

Until this is fixed, avoid it.
