Alright, so a lot to say about this short game. First I notice a lot of thumbs down and I have to say I wanted to do the same. But its not entirely bad only rough around the edges. I enjoyed the story, no crashes or stutters. I did notice the hit boxes were strange at times and certain checkpoints took endless times to get through on normal difficulty. I think if this was touched up a little it could be a great game instead of a mediocre game. At times playing the game I caught myself saying slop in my head and getting frustrated, but I am happy I finished it! Its not a game I would hate and honestly I wouldnt mind seeing another distillment only touched up much better than this one! It has promise but needs help. I say buy on sale if you need something to preoccupy your time with a short but sweet story and perhaps play on easy difficulty. It could be my ultrawide monitor and aspect ratio but normal was too much in certain areas where the hit box was strange on vehicle.

Graphics may look good. But it seems that unless you have a truly beefy PC. Dont bother getting this one. It is so badly optimized that I could not play it even on the lowest graphic settings. I tried too. I got a $3k MSI gaming labtop that can handle every game...but apparently this one.

Its an Alright game the borders on here suck along with the collision on the surrounding structures, the camera angle has no adjustments whilst trying to fix some settings it was janky and not enough to fix like decent tier games and the Puzzles failed once and cant have a do over gotta give at least 2-3 chances the movement 1 from left to right perfect the dot tracer some a few were absolute wtf like how in tf am i supposed to do this it would have been better if there was a tutorial on that puzzle game the timer was adequate and oooo the Vehicles how you cant free look around at the scenery and on the character too sucked hoping the game creator or crew mad update this game oh and expand the playable map so we can go for shortcuts i got stuck on a nub and had to go around roughly 14in's to continue on i think thats it so if yall could if you see this MASS UPDATE Plz

Game has great bones but the creators put no meat on them!

The graphics and world look good but it's completely empty, lonely, boring.

Controls were fine on Steam Deck

You can upgrade your character but it's irrelevant, I think I upgraded once and just forgot about it and finished the game just fine. Weapons are always the same.

There are puzzles but it's just tacked on busy work, I chose to ignore the ones I could, such as those for opening supply crates that I didn't need. Which was all of them.

The scooter missions are a pain in the @ss, you'll see.

The gun combat was a fine but low energy affair and was the same throughout.

I don't care about stories, voice acting and characters in games, if you do then you won't like this.

It's a short game, under 6 hours and ends very abruptly and had me scratching my head bones.

I only paid 2 bucks and I still don't recommend it, unless you'd like to see an example of a complete fumbling of a games potential.

왠만한 똥겜도 최대한 재미를 찾아보려고 노력하는데, 이건 도저히 참을 수가 없다.
어색한 움직임, 타격감을 아예 느낄 수 없는 총, 구린 연출, 그냥 뭐 볼게 하나도 없다.
특히 무기 꺼내거나 무기 바꾸면 제자리에 서서 무기를 바꾸는데, 이걸 그냥 지켜보고 있어야 한다.
무기 바꾸는 키 잘못 눌러서 죽으면 개 빡친다.

게임을 삭제하고 당신의 시간을 구하십쇼.

Sinceramente: questo gioco se lo si giudica dal punto di vista tecnico purtroppo è tecnicamente difettoso quasi al 100%, però se si ha la pazienza di sistemare i comandi del controller con le funzionalità di Steam Input, assegnando alla levetta analogica destra il comportamento "mouse" e a i tasti direzionali del pad il comportamento delle frecce da tastiera, e si perde tempo a calibrare la velocità di risposta della curva del mouse (su cui è stata settata precedentemente la levetta analogica) allora si riesce a creare un "workaround domestico" per il problema della comandabilità difettosa e il gioco diventa accettabile a livello di comandi. Sopratutto assegnando ai tasti direzionali del pad il comportamento delle frecce da tastiera si riesce a manovrare lo scooter elettromagnetico abbastanza agilmente senza sfondare la levetta analogica destra perchè in questo modo si può usare il pad direzionale. In ogni caso il messaggio è che bisogna armarsi di pazienza e mettersi a smanettare con le funzionalità di Steam per cercare di risolvere i problemi tecnici che affliggono la controllabiltà del gioco, ma per fortuna Steam permette di farlo, e se ci si riesce (mettendoci la buona dose di pazienza e volontà) si può riuscire a giocare decentemente a questo gioco, che se si approccia con una mentalità aperta cercando di passare oltre ai problemi tecnici, si scopre che il gioco ha davvero una bella storia ed una trama che è avvincente e fondata su una buona sceneggiatura. Purtroppo come già detto è la parte tecnica che affossa il gioco, ma se si sa guardare oltre a questo si può riuscire a godersi una bella storia fantascientifica con una bella trama e con una grafica che pure non essendo eccelsa risulta comunque gradevole, sopratutto per quanto riguarda l'ambiente e i panorami alieni.
Ripeto: ci vuole tanta pazienza per giocare a questo gioco e tanta di volontà di mettersi a smanettare con Steam per aggiustare i comandi del controller, ma se si riesce a fare questo allora si è in grado di godersi una bella storia sci-fi ad un livello che diventa accettabile. IL gioco comunque costa pochissimo, quindi si risparmia denaro ma si deve spendere tempo a sistemarlo, chi riesce a farlo, e vuole farlo, può scoprire con sorpresa che Everreach: Project Eden in fondo ha qualcosa da offrire: una bella storia e una trama avvincente, e questo se ci si riflette è quello che si cerca in ogni gioco.

Everreach: Project Eden сначала впечатляет своей картинкой — зелёные джунгли чистое небо и эти плавные движения будто ты в рекламе самого идеального будущего. Графика действительно сочная особенно когда прыгаешь с дерева или используешь щит и всё вокруг начинает искажаться от энергии. Бои быстрые и жёсткие особенно когда включаешь замедление времени и начинаешь вырезать врагов как в фильме. Управление в целом хорошее но местами камера упирается в деревья или скалы и ты просто не видишь что происходит сзади. Сюжет пытается быть глубоким про колонизацию тайны планеты и эти странные артефакты но подаётся так шаблонно что даже не хочется вчитываться. Прокачка есть но быстро сводится к одному идеальному билду остальное просто лишнее. Миссии часто повторяются — убей всех исследуй точку защити базу — и к середине игры уже не чувствуешь разницы между заданиями. В целом Everreach выглядит круто но играется как красивая обёртка на довольно простой шутер с парой трюков. Да понравилась но только если не ждёшь чего-то революционного.

CO za dramat. Mechanika paskudna, strzelanie okropne, jakaś latajaca kula przed oczami, przeciwnicy spotujący znikąd prosto nad naszą głową, okropna praca kamery w dialogach, brzydkie animacje, biegnąc w lewo można strzelać, ale w prawo, postać zasłania celownik, masa bugów, postać i karabin zacinają się randomowo. Może dałoby się to jakoś zmęczyć, ale autosavy zawsze daleko rzucają. Niepowetowana strata czasu i nerwów.

Not great, plays like a game made in the mid-90s.
- Movement feels terrible - you often find yourself unable to move because the character is stuck doing some insane footwork animation while under fire... but only when the pistol is out.
- Hit feedback is in the form of enemy healthbars and basically nothing else. It's hard to know if any individual shot connected. The pistol works better as long-range weapon because it has a reticle that makes sense and no spread.
- Maps are linear and obvious. There's no flexibility in how to approach things, enemies just spawn from nowhere right next to you, and salvage crates (for upgrades) are littered in in odd corners with mostly no challenge except being willing to run to them and back.
- Enemies are... so bad. They all instantly know where you are at all times, don't appear to move at all other than to (in the case of humanoid enemies) duck or (in the case of drones) slowly drift around in a straight line.
- Animation is... so bad. Nora's gun does weird jiggles and is only vaguely connected to her hands in cutscenes. She appears to have two talking animations, which are best described as "calm" and "confusingly energetic what's on your face oh god".
- Graphics are so bad that the badness had to be hidden behind an always on and very aggressive focal-distance blur that basically acts like fog in old games. I think there may only be two human models, as every woman and every man appear to have the same vaguely idealized body.
- The one positive point is that they seem to have spent the entire production budget on voice acting. I'm only an hour in and I think 50+% of that time they've been throwing what seemed like real human voices at me.

In 2025, this plays like somebody's weekend project... but whoever made it knows some voice actors who wanted exposure. I think I bought this for $2 and I'm still tempted to return it.

Although I got this game on sale, I still feel like I still got ripped off. This game has so many problems and so many issues as well as it shows more amateur-ish development than it does a "AAA" game. What you are about to read is not exaggerated, these are real issues you will face when you play this game. Some of the problems include, but not limited to...

1.) One of the most frustrating thing about this game is that, this is a PC game, but clearly meant for a console. Why would you make a PC game, but put tutorials on what buttons to press on a controller? Have you not ever played a PC game before? During the start of the game, it kept telling me to press "A"for this and "B" for that. Yes, I have played console games before, but this is not a console game, this is a PC game. I get that this game is controller friendly, and that's fine. But when you make a PC game, during your tutorials, please also include keyboard keys to press, along with controller buttons, so we don't have to sit there and press every key on the keyboard to figure out what the real keys are. Most PC gamers are familiar with keyboard controls. There were a couple keys I had to find out on my own on what to press. Some of which were the "holster your gun" key ("H"), and the "menu" key ("ESC").

2.) Graphics looked like it came from a 3D adventure game engine from Playstation 3. For a game that was made back in 2019-2020, I would think the graphics would be a bit more detailed and much more lush, Some of the 3D models had some transparency issues as well as some graphical glitch issues. They also took 3D modeling shortcuts to design the characters as well as the environments. The way the graphics looked, I wouldn't be surprised if they used some kind of basic 3D engine with presets.

3.) Controls were very stiff. Every once in a while, it felt like the character I was playing would be stuck for a very brief moment before the character finally reacted to the controls. There were also times when the character was stuck on either a rock or corner and I had to jiggle the controls a bit to finally break free. The game clearly needs to be worked on, tweaked, and polished a bit better.

4.) NO JUMP BUTTON?!?!?!?!?!? SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!? Why would you make an action/adventure game with no jump feature? So let me get this straight, you can run, you can duck, you can climb stairs... but jumping is just too much... *facepalms*

5.) The mapping is so messed up. There was an area (Near the beginning of the game, in fact) where you could actually go to and it would have been very easy to just jump down, but the way they made the game, you have to walk all the way around to get to an area that was right there. The way the area looked, it would have been extremely easy to just walk there in less than 2 seconds, but they designed it in such a way you have to spend extra time to go around just to return near where you first started. This would have been better as an open world than a gauntlet play style.

6.) Another thing I also did not like about this game is, it only saves the game when you reach "check points" in the game or completion of tasks. So if you want to save your game, complete a task or get to a check point in the game. So if you did a lot of upgrading to your character, make sure you reach a check point, otherwise you will have to redo everything.

There are a few other issues I haven't covered, however, most of the other reviews I read will cover those points very well. This was clearly meant to be for a console and not for PC. Why they decided to put this out for PC is beyond me.

The story was... okay... at best. The real problem is when you play, the quests are very easy and most cases, short and simple. A lot of the missions were "go here and fetch, come back and get rewarded". It felt more like menial tasks rather than real missions or "important" purposes.

Overall, the game really needs to be polished a bit more and needs to be thought out more. Even using a keyboard, controlling your character can get a bit frustrating. Also be careful where you walk as you can get stuck momentarily. Since this game was designed for console as well as PC, I think it's one of those games that belongs on a console only. There were too many "PC" issues and the "controller" tutorial was not smart. If you have a controller for your PC, that's fine, that's not the issue. The issue is when you make a tutorial for PC, please also include keyboard keys so we don't spend too much time trying to find the key to press to know what we are suppose to do. Not all of us use controllers.

This wasn't nearly as bad as the reviewers seem to think. Yes, it has quirks for days, but it was entertaining and the story was good. Nora handled actually quite nicely and mechanics worked for me.

On the downside, the game was too short. There was more material to be made to additional story and the length made upgrading slightly irrelevant. I just got a taste for it and the game ended. There are more downsides, but the feel of the game was overall good.

It's very much a Mass Effect-like from original ME1 era and quite a pretty game. How much Unity and DX11 can do that is.

I don't know, you might enjoy it, on a firesale, of course.

Каждый кроме саундтрека. No ♥♥♥♥, музыка 10/10. Именно так, ИМХО, и должен звучать классический сай-фай. Думаю, будь у студии больше финансов и штат пошире, Everreach вполне можно было бы допилить до уровня этакой Uncharted в космосе.

This game was Dry. dialog was bad. Story is bad but not zero effort. kinda cool lore. voice line delivery felt robotic game felt unfinished and rushed but I had a good time. A lot of people seemed to not like the hovercraft driving but I kinda liked it. over all had some fun. the real reason I played this game was because the main character Nora is a baddie.

Do game-developers, who deserve so, end up in hell?

That's what you question yourself, when playing this game.
I'd like to recommend it, because the overall idea, doesn't seem to bad, but "Elder Games" seemingly didn't play their own game, or it's just a horrible console-port.

The game:

Starting pretty o.k., options seemed alright, even auto-set graphics on high details etc., then a short intro, you get started etc., the regular fit.

In the beginning you even consider: "Oh, a game, trying to put a sexy female protagonist into a respectfull perspective and giving some Buffy the vampire-slayer-vibes in a futuristic setting.", unfortunately you're realizing quickly, that it doesn't quite work out.
Don't want to spoil too many details, but i ended up in a tought battle, outnumbered, but capable, IF the NPCs wouldn't have had wallhack and also been able, to shoot through walls.

The savegame-mechanism is a bad joke, as it only saves on certain spots (no manual saving possible and even after a successfull - story-/mission-related - tough battle it doesn't save) and you have to watch the upper left of the screen, to even notice.

The aiming is hillarious...it's more like: "That's your crossair, and even though it's bad, somewhere there, your bullets are supposed to cause an impact.".

I tried mouse and keyboard just as i tried gamepad. General use gamepad is the better choice, battlemode it might not be coming in that handy.

The most ridiculous part though, is the extremely poor hardware-optimization (if any is around at all).
I wondered, why my pc's fans were turning wild and checked the taskmanager for details.
On high-details - even with V-Sync active - a system with a 4GB VGA-card had 100% GPU-load and 4GB own plus 8GB shared VGA-RAM in use, while still causing stuttering.
On medium-details - also with V-Sync active - the same system went with not even fully using the 4GB, though still causing the 100% GPU-load.
Just saying, the game is extremely hungry and has the tendency, to kill your hardware, when you choose the wrong settings.
Also "high" details of this 2019-game are barely any better than many 2012-2015-games and i'm not only talking about the weird character design.

Questionable is the PEGI 12-rating here on steam with the hint on violence.
I assume it's because 16 year old kiddos will cry about, that even games like Fortnite have better graphics and refrain from playing it, so with 12 year old ones you at least have a "target audience"...but only if you're among the rotten parents, who expose their children's meltdowns for social-media-clout, i guess.

The story:
Uhm...i wish, there was any.
I mean, seemingly, there's a plot, but the whole game feels so empty, that you mostly tend to skip conversations from a certain point on and just try to focus on your task.
So...you're Nora, member of a security-squad, coming to help with 2 of your friends, you become departed and it's up to you, to gather and also of course fullfill your task.

Conclusion:
Well, i really wanted to like the game and on the surface it didn't seem to bad in the first 3 to 5 minutes, but there was a massive decay in quality, which quickly turned the game sour.

So IF you want to play the game, i highly recommend, playing it with medium graphic-settings, V-Sync active, combined gamepad- and mouse and keyboard (depending on action, taking place) and - i guess it makes sense in this case - only play it on easy and the option of "aim-assistant" active, else it might be very frustrating.

Since the game is on discount for about 2 bucks and i wanted to see, what the sudden bad critics and loss of value is about, ever since i got it myself (luckily in a bundle, if i remember correctly, else at least also on discount), i decided to install and playtest it.

I'm really sad, the game has so many flaws...i knew, it would be far from perfect, but i didn't exspect it to be like that.

Consider it this way...you like soulslike games (the pain and suffering and having to start all over certain times on parts of the game) with janky controls and bad game-mechanics and you like games like "The Mass Effect"-series and don't mind a female protagonist, then this is the one game, you've been looking for!
Else...buy some icecream and watch a nice movie or series instead.

Indie Mass Effect.

Joke comparison aside this game is a mixed bag. On one hand i liked the story, Characters, and world BUT on the other side the game play, exploration, technical problems, and poor rpg elements really drag this down. While i did beat the story it took roughly 4 hours and that's counting me getting lost twice and getting stuck multiple times due to the poor controls of the hover bike sections.

Would i recomend this game? only on a deep sale and only if you know what you're getting into to.

今日のサマーセールで買いました。
操作性は悪くないですが・・・ヘリ戦がただの追っかけっこです。
まだ最序盤なのでもっちょっとバイク戦力入れてほしかったです。
個人的には好みなのでオープンワールドの練習用にセールで購入もありですが、定価だと追加DLC等があればよかったですね。
あと、キャラメイク要素で衣装とかカラーリング設定が出来ればうれしいです。

I do recommend this.

There's a lot of things wrong with this game that make me think that it was just shoved out of the door due to budget / contracts or something. I stumbled across the soundtrack while music surfing on YouTube and thought it sounded good, so I buy the game. The on sale price is definitely the point that makes me recommend this.

It plays like a fan project for Mass Effect with the same love and care put into it as someone's first Portfolio project as something to show off to potential future companies to seek employment at. I haven't really finished yet, but I recognize the effort and charm. The voice acting seems limited, but I assume budget. There is something here.

It's janky, and quirky but I like it.

Thanks to steam rating system, I can't be 100% accurate with my rating. In gog terms, I give this game a 3/5.

This game is way more amateur than I thought it would be. It reminds me of the tons of "asset flips" that were "popular" a decade ago on steam. Don't judge it too quickly though; it's not exactly another one of those.
According to credits, very few people worked on it. It does feel like a game made by a small team, with rough gameplay animations and cheap graphical features. It feels cheap and the store screenshots are not very accurate illustrations of the game.
It's not all bad. The gameplay pace felt professional. The game didn't feel long or short. The story wasn't anything special, but I can see they tried to make it creative, with twists by the end, and since the story wasn't very appealing, they did well not to stretch it unnecessarily. It ended a bit abrupt, but it didn't bother me.
Voice acting was a highlight for me. The protagonist girl has a voice I found very appealing, performed by Mindy Owen who seems to have worked in other little games as well.

Overall the game is, yes, cheap looking and feeling, but I feel the people that made it were passionate and tried their best, and because of that, the game felt charming to me.
Extra point from me for having random npc females with huge breasts&cleavage, and enemy female soldiers with shinny well shaped butts.

Let's just say the store page screenshots take some creative liberties...
It's not very fun, there's some good qualities, but not enough to recommend.
If you feel like it, it often goes on sale for a dollar, so I mean I guess if you want.

Pros:
Music is rather decent.
Upgrade system isn't horrible.
The maps don't look half bad, but the screenshots on the store page are misleading.

Small Overview of the Cons:
- It wastes time, the enemies always know where you are.
- Combat is unresponsive, your health drains like a timer.
- There's loot around for upgrades and some of them have mini-games that are absolute garbage and purely a waste of time.
- The voice acting is either generated or just wildly erratic as the main character goes from southern country girl accent to hard soldier from scene to scene.
- The maps hit-boxes don't match the visuals so you'll be shooting at an enemy and your bullets don't hit it as they stopped mid-air to hit nothing, and then the enemy kills you through the rocks.

Saw a review calling this a mass effect rip off and another telling me to see it as a PS2 game ported to PC to lower expectations but honestly both are insults to those lofty comparisons. Mass effect is great and the PS2 was a golden age for gaming.

This game is trash, it's buggy, the maps are huge and empty. The traversal is terrible and you can't even jump off ledges, I don't meant to intentionally die I mean to get to lower ground, you have to take the stairs! You can't even jump at all, theirs the hover bike that feels marginally better to get around on but it's relegated to biking sections in the game and comes with an escape mission where you are attacked by a shopper shooting missiles. You can't pause but I bet I could leave the controller to get a cup of tea and drink it before I Die in the game. They aim everywhere but where you are. And the right stick doesn't work so you can't look around!

With the size of the maps it feels like the bike should be a constant companion for the game. I'm only tempted to keep on going to get all the achievements and i'm honestly disgusted with myself for my lack of value for my own time... I'd be better off playing mass effect andromida.

Die Steuerung ist ziemlich clunky, aber für ein paar Abende ist das game trotzdem okay und hat mich gut unterhalten. Die Story ist kurzweilig, man kann ein paar Entscheidungen treffen. A good sci-fi game, aesthetically akin to Mass Effect. Beautiful graphics, stage design that rewards exploration, and good music (especially towards the finale), plus, excellent voice actor D.C. Douglas (AKA Albert Wesker from Resident Evil) in a lot of supporting roles.
The game has nine chapters, most of which are on foot and deal with combat and exploration. There are a few story decisions to make, some of which determine the specifics of your ending, and others which determine the fate of a major character. No New Game+ or post-game bonuses, so completing it once (with all achievements reachable in one play-through) nets you pretty much everything there is to offer, except maybe going through it again with different character builds.
Combat is a little plain: point gun at enemy and pull trigger until you win, and that's enough to resolve nearly every fight. You can earn a few additional combat moves (portable shield generators, rush, etc), but pretty much every fight is just obtaining cover and firing around it. Enemies come in two major flavors: troopers, basic dudes with guns, and aerial drones. No real bosses to speak of (except a gunship you can finally destroy towards the end), but the last combat, as short as it is, is pretty good (would've been nice to see more segments of this, the final battle music is intense). You start with the only two weapons in the game, a pistol and rifle, and that's all you'll need.
Your main character has a growth tree with abilities to buy with parts found in chests (and by enemies after obtaining scavenging skills). However, there aren't nearly enough resources to obtain every power, so you'll have to choose which few branches work best for you (going down the branch which reduces the cost of powers is basically essential first, though). There are three stats to level up as well, mostly used for unlocking greater skills.
Okay, let's talk about the hoverbike: it's serviceable, but not great. Moving forward with leaning from side to side to avoid obstacles is just fine, no problems. The issue is trying to turn around when you get to a dead end or hung up on obstacles; the right stick, normally used for camera control in this style, does nothing and therefore you have to wrestle with both winging the bike around AND dealing with wonky camera angles. The bike takes some getting used to, but I was doing just fine on it by the end of the game (and you'd best get used to it, there are a decent amount of bike segments).
All in all, definitely worth a play-through, though I'd suggest maybe playing it on Easy. Story was surprisingly good, though its pieces don't fall into place until after a couple of revelations in the last chapter or two; stick with it, is what I'm saying. It feels like what you'd get playing on the first planet of Mass Effect 1, with a side order of Firefly/Serenity and a few touches of Star Trek. For a game primarily developed by one person, this is a really good effort.

The gameplay is a bit weird especially the movements. It takes some time to get used to it but, once you do, it becomes decent.

However, I did enjoy the story, the soundtrack, and the relationship between Nora and 73. I would love to see more of them. I found myself wanting to explore and knowing what was going to happen next.

The skill tree is basic but it suits the game and its gameplay just fine.

It would like to see more from this developer.

I completed the game and it's c-tier, and is basically "But we have Mass Effect at home."

Basically the gameplay somewhat sucks. You fight only two enemies for most of the game. I could give it a positive review and overlook its flaws since I bought it deeply discounted, though it can be as bad as the negative reviews say. It isn't the worst I've played, but the gameplay feels like an original Xbox game with less polish and poor variety.

The hoverbike segments are frequent and atrocious as the slightest tap into a tree or obstacle can nearly kill you while you're always trying to figure out where to go while being shot at. Combat isn't exciting and you keep fighting the same enemies over and over usually while trying to find something to crouch behind so you can cheese an enemy's janky hitbox.
Everything is so blindingly bright in this game too and yet you can't see much in the distance because of the aggressive fog for a 2019 game. You can't ever jump down from a platform either, jump, or climb small rocks so you often run into the terrain, which can get you killed in a firefight. She also walks as painfully slowly as Master Chief in Halo CE toward the Ubisoft hub markers that you have to continually run toward.

Aiming is difficult and you don't know where to shoot. When you're on top of a platform you can't point the gun straight down and kill anyone either. Checkpoints are infrequent and if you finish a difficult firefight and then accidentally softly bump a boulder because of the poor controls and camera angles, your bike will explode and force you to restart. There must be a reason that technology has gone backward. Perhaps, the engineers of the future have decided to replace the sturdy materials we are accustomed to with a most volatile material and steering that doesn't work because they wanted to kill motorcyclists?

The story is alright, but isn't gripping, I won't remember anything that happened in 2 weeks, and I didn't care about the other characters, and the game had some dialogue branches that didn't appear to matter much. The voice acting was passable. But the bigger problem that held this game back is that the gameplay doesn't feel too rewarding.

Funny update: I indeed didn't remember the story 6 months later or even what the character did, or her job, which goes to show how forgettable the experience was. Only reading someone else's review jogged my memory a little, but in a few years maybe I wouldn't even be able to jog that memory? It's quickly becoming a repressed memory.

B級の王道ゲーム。
PS2～PS3時代のB級TPSを2019年に出しました
というのがピッタリです。

サムスに似た主人公、ファンタシースターオンラインのような
ビジュアルとBGM、マスエフェクトそのままの戦闘モーション、
迫力の無いSE、武器はハンドガンとアサルトライフルのみ
（ハンドガンは使う必要がないので実質1種類だけ）、
非常に狭いFOV、感度最大にしても遅いアナログスティック速度、
さあ後半戦が始まるぞと思ったらエンディング。
長い間隔のチェックポイントで時間稼ぎをしています。
特殊能力などほぼ全く使う機会がなかったです。
ラスボスもいません。スキルを引き継いだ2周目もありません。
あまりにポンコツ過ぎて嫌いになれるわけありません。

（こんなゲームに限って）和訳が上質で
そこは日本人として嬉しい点でした。

銃を構えた時、後頭部の髪の生え際が首に埋もれてしまうのを見て
こういうのをそのままにしておく大らかさに
これは自分向きのゲームだなと思いました。
PS2～PS3時代のB級TPS（ヘッドハンターリデンプションやフラクチャー等）
が好きな私のような人にはおすすめです。

色々改善するMODがあり、それを導入して遊びました。

It's an interesting story entirely ruined by the janky gameplay. Everything people have said is spot on: random invisible walls where they don't belong, combat that feels clunky and unpolished, dumb AI, and no ability to jump, which means you're constantly running the long way around platforms instead of just jumping off. The vehicle controls are the worst—getting stuck in geometry is highly probable. You can tell the devs put in much effort, but the game still feels unfinished. It's like a beta or early access release that's almost ready for launch but definitely not there yet. I wanted to keep playing, but the gameplay ended my time with this game. I'll reconsider if the devs ever "finish" the game.

bought the game at mayor discount, for as little as 2 euro..., and boy i am glad i did not waste more money on it, cause damn, my love for the hover bike in the game is virtually non existent. it does not move the way it should, you can not look around and even looking ahead is too difficult if you park it near an obstacle...; since the game does not allow to skip a level, to advance with out reaching the destination.., i just rage quit mission 3. uninstalling and forgetting i have played it is my final act !!

Molto scarso.
Aspetti accettabili:
- storia un po' banale e molto breve ma sufficiente considerando che è un gioco da 5-6 ore
- qualche frase del robot strappa un sorriso
- progressione del personaggio discreta con numerosi alberi di abilità

Problemi lievi:
- IA dei nemici troppo semplificata
- scarsa gestione degli urti con oggetti mentre si cammina, cosa che rende i movimenti poco fluidi
- grafica scarsa, gestione delle espressioni facciali nelle cutscene quasi assente.
- mappe scarne e "vuote", poco ispirate e piccole
- feeling delle armi pessimo, sia quando si spara (audio inadeguato), sia quando si incassano colpi (a volte proprio non si capisce se si è sotto il fuoco se non si guarda la barra degli scudi che scende)
- pochi checkpoint
- problemi gestione ripari negli scontri a fuoco: a volte i nemici ti possono colpire anche attraverso oggetti
- il reticolo di mira non sembra ben allineato su dove si colpisce: lo si deduce dalla barra energia dei nemici che compare anche se il reticolo non sembra sovrapporsi al nemico.

Problemi gravi (sono tutti relativi alle parti su overbike):
- le sezioni su overbike (o come si chiama) sono quasi ingiocabili a causa di telecamera che va per le sue e i controlli scarsi
- assurdità della meccanica di guida: ad esempio urtare quasi da fermo un oggetto da un danno e neanche piccolo;
- nelle sezioni di guida i checkpoint poi sono troppo distanti e bisogna spesso rifarle completamente dall'inizio
- l'ultima battaglia su overbike è troppo sbilanciata e risulta fastidiosa (anche a causa della mancanza di checkpoint intermedi)

Don''t even waste time with it even if it's free. The game is an absolute mess. The controls are basically fighting against you, there's tons of missions where they force you to play with those messy as F controls - it's not you vs the AI. It's you vs the game's atrocious controls. The combat gameplay is horrible, the animations are so clunky and messy ... The only actually fun part about it is the skill system. But that's like a drop of chocolate in a massive pile of crap.

Olyan érzés ez a játék, mintha félkész állapotban adták volna ki. A történet, a látvány, a hangulat rendben van, de az irányítás nem az igazi. A sima mozgással is vannak gondok, de a jármű vezetés vérizzadós. Főleg a sivatagos jelenetnél. Időnként vannak hekkelős részek. Többször is előfordult, hogy összekötöttem a pontokat időre, mégsem fogadta el a játék. Természetesen a vonalak is megvoltak. Ha technikai szempontból rendbe raknák, jó kis játék lehetne. Így is végig lehet játszani, de nem az igazi.

Kinek ajánlanám? Annak, aki nem tud magával mit kezdeni egy esős vasárnap délután, annak érdemes kipróbálnia unaloműzés gyanánt. Ha ügyes, akkor pár óra alatt le is tudja. Így ebben a formában igazi egyszer játszós alkotás.

Totalnie niskobudżetowy ulep stylizowany na Mass Effect, toporny ale nie jest tragicznie. za 5 zł w promocji nie jest mi żal. Wizualnie nienagannie, mechanicznie trochę drewniana kupa. Fabuła jest. Grać się da.

Taki Bieda Mass Effect za 5 zł. Jeśli będzie to w takiej cenie, to warto sobie zobaczyć i pograć.
Ale nie należy oczekiwać wyrafinowanego gameplayu i szału.

Thumbs-down: entering colony chapter (mission 1) my attributes suddenly nullified (precisely value -1) and my skill tree was purged to none.

Luckily that was one time bug but I had to replay whole previous chapter - due to saving only at checkpoints. Still thumb-down...

2 out of 5 stars. The story is interesting and it looks pretty good but the overall game suffers from a multitude of minor annoyances.

Sparse and poorly located save points mean frequent frustration of having to redo entire sections. If a controller is plugged in, the game will hide the keyboard/mouse control scheme despite which one is actively used. The AI is meh and occasionally finds a way to shoot players through intervening objects. Controls are twitchy but can be somewhat fixed by turning down mouse sensitivity. The aiming reticle isn't accurate, at least for ultra-wide monitors. If you have trouble with shots landing, I suggest moving the cursor to the lower right of your actual target. A blue health bar will appear at the bottom of the screen when you have it sighted correctly.

The hoverbike is extremely touchy and prone to taking massive damage from collisions. Frequently, you'll be required to complete a bike transit before your previous combat encounter will be saved so take it slow if you don't want to risk all your progress being wiped out by a crash. I enjoyed the puzzle-locked boxes but were also a source of frustration as there is timer involved and the box locks permanently if you don't solve within the limit. Completionists may need to choose between skipping a box or redoing an entire combat scene for another chance at solving it. Some scenes will allow you to loot after the last enemy is killed but others will just move you to the next section with no chance to complete.

The game doesn't last long enough to really make use of the intelligence skill path which makes upgrades cheaper. I suspect you'd be better off investing those resources in other areas and you'll likely come out further ahead.

I feel that a little-bit of post release patch effort could have gone a long ways towards making this game more enjoyable. If you can find it on deep discount, you may want to give it a try but otherwise I'd recommend skipping it.

Масс-эффект солевого наркомана-курильщика. Многие могут возразить, мол игра бюджетная и от независимого разработчика, но! Бюджетность и независимость не являются синонимом всратости и кривости. Не хватает денег - сделай проще, но качественнее. Ясно, чем авторы вдохновлялись, но не ясно чего они в итоге хотели. В итоге - заурядное не понятное нечто в звуковом и стилистическом оформлении отсылающее к первому масс-эффекту. Покупал ключик к игре, кажись, рублей за 40-50, но это тот случай, когда эти 40-50 рублей лучше было бы потратить на маршрутку. П.с. - с такой лицевой анимацией уж лучше бы всем, прости господи, шлемы нарисовали

I did finish it, but mostly because it was very short, the story was not terrible (though none of the humour worked for me), and I was pleasantly surprised that you get to make some significant choices.
Unfortunately, the graphics are uneven at best and all the mechanics lack polish. The shooting is floaty and vague, the controls are floaty, the vehicle sections are abominably unfun, and the later crate-opening minigames are like pulling teeth. It needed several months of controls refinement to make it fun to play.

I'll suggest based on sale price of less than 2 bucks. There are some good things like visuals, music, way-points (most times), gun-play & distant fallout quest vibes. However, the uncontrollable 'hover bike' segments (as others have mentioned) used as segways between chapters is annoyingly broken. Some (not all) of the loot-trunk hacking mini-games are beyond difficult, while others are fun. This mixed-bag linear RPG mash-up could be a job interview for coders looking for exposure to jump to a 'aaa' company, as here player QOL is a stepping-stone after-thought.

Doesn't deserve the hate.

Everreach:Project Eden has some issues, it's true. However these issues are mostly minor,reflecting it's budget and if you're willing to adapt and overcome them, you'll find a nice looking charming game.

The story was interesting, you play as Nora Harwood, a security officer for Everreach, a capitalist super corpo who's recent efforts to colonise Eden have suddenly come to a halt. You go in to investigate with your team to discover what's happened but all may not be as it seems..

I particularly enjoyed the robot companion 73, she was a highlight of the game. I really enjoyed the relationship between Nora and 73 and by the end of the game I felt like I wanted to see more of them.

The voice acting for Nora may seem strange at first but you quickly realise that's a reflection of her character and overall I thought she was voiced well. 73 was voiced excellently, Jay and Julian were solid as well, Abigail's voice acting was fine.

Music was well fitting, there were a couple of tracks that stood out above the others but overall it was decent.

It took me just under 6 hours to finish the game with all achievements.

My tips are to reduce the sensitivity when playing with keyboard and mouse, there will be a comfortable level. The hover bike uses momentum to charge it's ammo and is quite floaty, use that float to your advantage. Take it slow, use cover, if you see their health bar you can kill them, if not get a better angle. Health and shields seemed to matter most with upgrades.

Pros:

Interesting story
Solid voice acting
Decent music
73 and Nora
Nice looking game

Neutral:

Sensitivity starts off way too high, easily fixed.
No way to look at keyboard mapping unless at main menu, made figuring out powers awkward.
Power system feels underutilised, not enough exp in the game to make proper use of it, making it feel maybe a little unfinished, it's not needed to beat the game however.

Cons:

Enemy AI is a bit over the place, sometimes they act as you'd expect but other times they'll walk around confused.

Feedback from hitting enemies could be better.

The falling block mini game for unlocking crates difficulty spike.

Some clunky animations (Enemy death in particular)

Overall I'd suggest grabbing this on sale, I really enjoyed it and I'd love to see more from the developers, I can only imagine what they'd come up with if given a bigger budget. Much love to the developers, you can see this game was made with love.

I feel like there is potential for a series here if the developers are ever given the chance.

Nekem nagyon tetszett a játék. Igaz, a játékmechanikákon lehetett volna még csiszolni (mondjuk egy fedezékrendszer sokat dobott volna rajta), de így se bosszankodtam rajta. Szerintem jó volt a story is, szép a látvány, jó a zene. Nem semmi, hogy ennyien ezt így összehozták, minőségibb game mint a nagy stúdiók által kiadott némelyik. Szerintem fogom még újra játszani.

Don't expect a triple AAA game. This game is average. The controls should get a update and get it to work like Mass Effect / Halo. Specially when driving your vehicle, why on earth can i not look around the vehicle ? the character gets stuck alot of times when your running. The game does have alot of bugs that should already been patched out by now. The same counts for those ridiculous mini games on the crates. The one where you have to avoid blocks ??? Good luck with that one! you keyboard is way to sensitive to avoid 1 block at time. I skip those mini games

5/10, i see some mass effect elements and i do see the halo visors on some units. It's a shame this game is so poorly designed.

I'm not sure how the actual game is, because I had an incredibly hard time getting to it. I had read the reviews and this was on sale for $1.31. I figured for that little money, I'd find some enjoyment in it. And I may have, if I could ever play the thing. Starting off, I like playing with a controller. Controller is supported, so yay.

Navigating the main menu with the controller is a literal chore. I had a choice between "New Game" and "Options" with "Continue" grayed out. It took effort to highlight "New Game." If I pushed the A button while "New Game" or "Options" wasn't selected, it'd immediately crash.

After a couple of crashes, I finally start the game. After an extremely badly acted and roughly animated opening sequence, I begin to walk around. The camera is so slow to turn. So I pop over to Options only to realize you can't change any controller sensitivity options from the menu that pops up. So, I quit and go into "Options" from the main menu. There, it's a train wreck. Moving up on the controller would somehow move the selection down instead. And then it'd start highlighting options that aren't even there. Guess what happens when you choose one of the phantom options? That's right: it crashes.

At this point, I gave up and refunded the thing.

Yeah... I thought it looked interesting so I gave it a shot. I mean the sale price is GREAT! But lots of invisible walls, the bad guys shoot THROUGH buildings, you get stuck on things you can't see, etc. I gave it an hour and a half, but I gotta give it a no. Maybe on a day where I have more patience I'll try again.

Even though thre are many games around like this, and some probably with more powerful graphics and more complex gameplay, I think Everreach: Project Eden is a good game, with a significant amount of development effort behind: smooth to play, some difficult challenges, interactions with other characters.
It is certainly worth the price.
