It's not bad....it's not stellar or mind-blowing, but it's not bad at all.
The music is painfully repetitive and the voice acting is....uh.....acceptable? Barely?
The hog puzzles and minigames are pretty standard (and there's not too many of them either), but they're competent, and the graphics are pretty (not the character art/animations, mind you, those are pretty unpleasant to observe, just the backgrounds and puzzle artwork).
This is barely a recommendation/endorsement, but given some of the other HOG puzzles out there, you can certainly do worse. Wait for a sale and you probably won't be disappointed.

Yet another very nice HOG game from (publisher) artifex mundi. I usually enjoy playing that kind of games very much. This one's has some nice little pros i would like mention below.
I'd rate the difficulty of the mini games to easy/average and the HOG games average with 1 or 2 average/difficult.
Nice story, especially liked the [spoiler]earth/science/magic element and the resulting cooperation/conflict. I also caught myself to pick the side of the king for a while since the humans (seemed) to have caused the destruction/heavy damage of their world because of the air pollution.[/spoiler]
Nice locations, also liked the encountered characters [spoiler]of the sky ppl and their gods.[/spoiler]
Some little *extra* pros I remembered so far from the game:
- nice 3D animations (e.g. using a key in a lock turning)
- the ability to use elements in parts (e.g. task is to collect 3 items of a lock to complete but you can also put only 1 or 2 elements in the lock) and the actual state of the e.g. lock are also updated in the complete scene image (e.g. when [spoiler]completing the 3 tests of the god[/spoiler])
Regarding the collectibles:
It is a nice features, that there is an indicator in each scene to show, if all collectibles have been found (blue glyph in the lower right corner) especially if you continue from a previous saved game.
But may I suggest that in future it may be possible to disable showing the maximum number of collectibles since (in my opinion) lowered the game experience a little bit.
For example, in this game there are 1 or 2 kind-of-cliffhangers (does it continue or are we coming near to the end). But since I saw, for example, that I had only collected only 20 from 45 items, I was certain, that there must come more.
An option to hide the total amount would (imho) not destroy this experience.
In total it was a very nice experience and I hope that they'll continue doing such nice games.

Yikes that achievement for beating a hidden object one in 30 seconds is really tight, just kept pasting over my user data while at the flowers and after four try's I got it \o/.
The game itself is really fun. Except for that bead puzzle.
I hope that bead puzzle stubs it's toe and is late for work and it rains... like a lot of rain and the coffee machine is broken.

Приключения тут тесно переплетяются с древнеславянской мифологией,где нам опять нужно остановить злого мага и заодно спасти брата . Ничего нового тут не увидите ,если играли в предущие игры серии. Головоломки, сбор коллеционных предметов,легкое музыкальное сопровождение, много локаций , битвы с помощью рун , и один полет на мифическом существе своего рода мини-игра .Нужно лететь строго по центу радуги,не выходить за края оной. Советую тем,кто любит игры такого жанра как поиск предметов .

Das Spiel war wie die beiden Teile zuvor sehr spannend aber die Rätsel wirkten wie eine Zusammenfassung aus den ersten beiden Teilen. Man kennt bereits die Lösungen. Dementsprechend ist man schnell durch gewesen. Auch von der Story her findet man immer Zusammenhänge zu den vorherigen Versionen was ich super fand diesen Wiedererkennungswert. Auch mein Freund der für solche Spiele nichts übrig hat, hat ab und an herüber geschaut.
Was enjoying this enough. a bit cheesy, not too hard. But then I hit a bug towards the end. The hint button stopped working. Had to check a walkthrough and realised there was an object that I didn't pick up that I needed but was no longer able to pick up. It broke the game and I can't complete it

I'm about halfway through and I can already tell where it's going and I'm not impressed. The music and games are solid, per usual with this particular set, but it has a story that I can already tell is going to be annoying. Here, let me write my prediction: the magic-knowing and believing protagonist of this game and the past two is going to be relegated to sidekick while her skeptic, first-time-we've-met-him brother, who does not believe in magic and scoffs about it when asked, is going to become all powerful and possibly also gain a position of power in the magical community. Because. Sure. Thus ends my prediction.
Finished playing and it was decent. Not as bad as I expected, but still not great. My recommendation leans more toward neutral. My prediction will remain.

Fun story, great graphics, love Mary and her family. Wonderful creatures/lands. Stupid, sexist ending, though. Mary does all the work/fighting and believes in magic all along, but her brother does one thing and gets to be King of the Cloud people. Not exactly right. But I do love this series.

These locals drug dealer are amazing.
Doing puzzle to save your brother that's pretty much it.
One of the voice actor is re-used I fear, he sounded awfully familiar to me. I've heard the same voice in the past games by Artifex Mundi. Nothing too spectacular to mention besides the idea of a magic believer with a non-believer [spoiler]and the ending that made the non-believer a King.[/spoiler] It's quite a trope I noticed hasn't been used often, so that's a breath of fresh air. The siblings part, not so much, but the former I have mentioned, is an interesting concept even to me.
At this point, I have already played a lot Artifex Mundi games to start saying the puzzles are starting to become mundane. There is nothing new to be mentioned for its puzzles. I'd rate this a [u]7.5/10[/u], definitely not my cup of tea but would still recommend to others.
Nothing better than making a rainbow.. Like my 1 & 2 review, I feel like there wasn't really a continuation of the story so fine to play stand alone! The puzzles are the typical Artifex Mundi style puzzles, but they were fun.. The graphics were beautiful as always.. The story line was cute and had a very Hogwarts vibe to it, I'd like to see what happened after.. Achievements were on the easier side, but worth getting! Would recommend on sale for sure!

Mary, the botanist returns in [i]Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends[/i] once again and this time (after the abduction of our grandma in [url=steamcommunity.com/id/atisz2/recommended/406870]Eventide[/url] and niece in [url=steamcommunity.com/id/atisz2/recommended/510650/]Eventide 2[/url]) our brother gets kidnapped. To top it all off, the antagonist isn't just a 'simple' magician, but a creature of divine origin. With a lot of strange creatures involved and a somewhat less serious tone than of the second part (missing the choice system as well) it shows more resemblance to the original. While it's still the lovely hidden object game most people like with enjoyable minigames and gorgeous visuals, it feels like a step back when compared to [i]Eventide 2[/i] (and also to the first part as a matter of fact).
After Mary visits her brother, John (the dialogue between the two sounds slightly cringeworthy - nothing spicy, just plain badly written) and plants a mythical fern flower, somehow it magically awakens a menacing looking creature... who soon becomes the source of all our problems, after he sends some owl-like creatures to kidnap our brother. Soon, our journey leads us into a mysterious flying city, Vyrai and as we find out, not only John's, but the fate of the entire world depends on us.
As the last part of the [url=store.steampowered.com/bundle/4732/Eventide_Collection/]Eventide series[/url], the game deploys a wide variety of minigames and puzzles along with large amounts of hidden- and fragmented (where we have to assemble items from pieces) object scenes. The interactive books telling different parts of the story and slavic-related themes, where we have to find matching items or symbols in order to receive a key item, also return and so do the plentiful inventory-based item combinations, a bit like in a classic point-and-click adventure game. The emphasis put into these elements however can't conceal the weakness and uneventfulness of the game itself. After we arrive to the cloud city and rescue our brother (even though he gets captured again soon afterwards), we have to complete fetch quests which involve some backtracking (despite the map travel feature) to some previously visited hidden object scenes. We play hours without anything meaningful happening and even with the presence of the colllectibles - there are Pantheon cards and ornaments to look out for - it often leads to boredom. The collectable cards provide information about different slavic gods like Perun or Svarog which we can view in the achievement display and we are also rewarded (with an achievement) for reading all the notes in the game.
The graphics are as beautiful as ever, although the rather barren-looking landscapes of the sky islands are not as captivating as the enchanting forests of the previous parts. The mostly clumsy animations are also a step back from the second entry.
Music is one of the strengths of the series - we get to listen to some great tunes along the way, even if some of the melodies have been reused from the other installments. The return of the voice actress of Mary (and some others, although in different roles) is appreciated.
While [i]Eventide 3[/i] manages to offer lots of hidden object scenes and various minigames (even if they are hardly challenging) to the lovers of the genre, it falls behind when compared to either of its predecessors (especially the 2nd one) due to the less than compelling story and the largely uneventful gameplay. The beautiful graphics may still carry the game and those who played the preceding installments will most likely play this one as well, but we can safely say that this is the weakest part of the trilogy and to be honest there are much better hidden object games out there.

Got through it pretty easily with very little guidance or hints. Interesting inclusion of mythology to go along with the magic. Several mini-games and hidden object puzzles. Never got bored. Unfortunately, I missed one card near the beginning and could not go back to get it, but not motivated enough to replay the whole game for it and one other achievement.

Why would you have the person who does almost nothing to help you, who hasn't grown at all, who DIDN'T fight the bad guy, get all the credit for defeating the bad guy and be made king while you just get returned to your own boring life??
This was as bad an ending as Mass Effect 3

In ET3:LoL you play as Mary the brother of John. John is a sceptic scientist and Mary is a magic seeker. They both get caught up in some bizarre magical weather catastrophes and have to travel to a magical realm in order to find out how to stop the disastrous weather from destroying earth. If you think it sounds goofy, then you are right on, but the story is presented in a charming way which moves the story forward and never hinders the gameplay.

~ Linear maps with interesting interlocking stages ~
Each "Chapter" of the game is a series of interlocking stages which require the player to solve puzzles and combine various clues and items in order to progress to the next chapter. Many of the next areas are locked behind doors, chests, cabinets, etc etc. This might sound boring, but the art style and presentation of the various "soft gates" and the puzzles keeping them closed are almost always compelling and nicely paced.

~ Music is Repetitive. Audio Does the Job ~
The music in ET3:LoL is nothing to get excited about. The tracks are calming and meditative. They certainly do not distract from the game. That being said, the tracks are few and repetitive.
Audio design checks all of the desired boxes. The sound quality is top notch, and all of the little keys, latches, items, mechanism all have clear, crisp, and believable SFX. I really enjoyed the audio design.

~ Snappy, Tight, and Just Right ~
ET3:LoL is a point & click/hidden object game, so we are not expecting some super complex control scheme. That being said, when you are doing as much pointing and clicking as a game like this requires even the slightest bit of stutter, lag, and inaccuracy can be brutal and draining. Fortunately, ET3:LoL has extremely tight and responsive mouse/clicking controls. I always felt like the game was responding to exactly what I was trying to do. This added a lot to the enjoyment of the game.

~ Point & Click (PnC), Mini Games (MG), and Hidden Object (HoG) ~
If you are familiar with these style of games then you know what to expect. If not then read on:
ET3:LoL has a good mix of PnC, MG, and HoG puzzles. Not only are the individual puzzles compelling in and of themselves, but the real highlight of this games is how all of the different puzzles and games interconnect and deliver satisfying solutions. The game really made me feel like I was "solving" the problems and coming up with clever solutions on my own. I never felt like the game was pandering to me.
That being said, I played on the expert difficulty, and I still felt like some sections were a bit too easy. I feel like this game would be very accessible to a wide range of ages and gamer experience.

~ PnC Boss Fights "Oh My!" ~
Yes, this hidden object game had boss fights and battle sequences. I am pretty new to the genre, so I am unsure if this is common in these types of games?
Anyway, the battles were sort of cheesy. They weren't really challenging. They do crank up the intensity during the battles, but I don't think there was a time limit (which actually might have helped to improve the impact and enjoyment of the sequences). Overall, they were just too easy and repetitive.

1. The game is a little bit short, but then again the game is cheap so I think it does ride that line on value per hour.
2. Some of the puzzles are a bit repetitive, but not nearly as repetitive as I thought they were going to be upon first impression.
3. The music was repetitive.
4. The dialogue and story were charming, but just barely interesting. The story could have been much more intricate and nuanced than it was.

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legend was an enjoyable game. The story, although cheesy, was charming and walked in lock step with the puzzles and mechanics of the game. The puzzles were challenging and interesting (most of the time). The boss fights/battles were the only glaring let down.
Overall, this game will be liked by any player who likes puzzles, mystery, relaxing games, brain teasers, magic, whimsical stories, or things like that.
I do not think this is a $9.99 value. If I had to place a value on it (considering all of the ways to get the game through sales etc etc) I would say this game is worth $0.99 - $4.99. I would only pay full price if you are an avid enthusiast of the genre or are really looking to spend some extra bucks on a game like this.

Pretty decent game. Good, colourful art, good voice acting and decent puzzles.
I took the time and bother to replay most of it for the achievements, and then found that some cutscenes/animations should have been easier to skip, but outside of that it is interesting and good enough for replay value.
HOG scenes were decent, with variations on how to play them.

It swarms here every now and then. Well done but heavy. There is a help function. You can skip the minigames. There are some things you have to craft yourself.
The real challenge in this game is the search for clues on how to proceed. I used the help 40 times. That's really a lot for me. Slightly heavier than its predecessors.
The graphics made a quantum leap in the third part.
Otherwise it's a continuation of the games without having to switch you.
Technically well implemented and error-free. Technically very well done despite the new graphics.
Clear tip for fans. A good ending to the miniseries.

Es wimmelt hier ab und zu Mal. Gut gemacht, aber schwer. Es gibt eine Hilfefunktion. Die Minispiele kannst du überspringen. Es gibt einige Sachen die du selber Herstellen musst.
Die eigentliche Herausforderung liegt bei diesem Game in der Suche nach Hinweisen wie es denn weiter geht. Ich hab 40x die Hilfe genutzt. Das ist für mich echt viel. Etwas schwerer wie bei den Vorgängern.
Die Grafik hat ein Quantensprung gemacht im dritten Teil.
Ansonsten ist es eine Fortsetzung der Spiele, ohne dich Umstellen zu müssen.
Technisch gesehen gut umgesetzt und fehlerfrei. Handwerklich trotz der neuen Grafik sehr gut gemacht.
Klarer Tipp für Fans. Ein guter Abschluss der Miniserie.

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends consists of interesting lore, pretty artwork, yet kinda short story with missable colectibles and achievements. I would recommend it if you're out of Hidden Object games, if that's not the case there are definitely better options than this one.

This lands a little below average on the Mountain Crime Requital scale.
Not bad, not particularly good. I would definitely get it on a sale, should you have completed the first two - not that completing the first two is required, but it does have some nods, and the main character is the same. That said, we don't even get rewarded for our hard work in the end. Some puzzles were really silly, and some things you have to do are not particularly obvious. Skip the marble puzzles.
This was good!
No technical issues, which is a relief after the last Eventide game. I missed a few documents for Bookworm on my first playthrough, but you could get everything in one go if you're careful.
There is no "hard mode" trophy which I appreciate, and there's also an indicator in the HUD that tells you if a collectible is still nearby, which I think is a more modern development but one I want in every hidden object game!
The story is fine. All three of the games mention the fernflower, but the way it keeps coming up I wish they spent more time explaining how it's tied to all three stories. It comes up in this game and you find out that the games have been setting up this narrative of the fernflower continually being stolen by bad guys for nefarious purposes but it's really not mentioned or explained this way except in a few small notes or comments by Mary.
The story with John was fine and it was nice to see even more of Mary's family as the games all seem to focus on certain family members of hers. But mild spoilers, I think Mary was more deserving of John's abilities / reward? But that's just me.
This game has no bonus adventure, which I've been kind of missing lately, none of the Eventide games had bonus adventures.
But overall, definitely worth a playthough and recommended.
It's quite nice like the rest of it's series.

This is the third and last innstallment of the triology of Eventide. We get to follow the protagonist; Mary, on her last adventure. This time we are soaring high - literally up in the skies - to floating realms and flying creatures. On this adventure you have to save your brother, and planet earth from getting flooded by an evil sorcerer/The King from the kingdom of Clouders.
I really enjoyed the overall vibe in this game, the art is beautiful and the pace of the game is good. The story itself is week (feels a bit shallow) and some things feels a bit misplaced like for an example the thunder God Perun - he fits inn in theory but not really. It feels like he just got squeesed in there as an extra character. I think it would have been a better choice to bring back grandma Baba as an helper along the way. And you suddenly have a brother - I would have liked it better if he was introduced earlier (like in the first game). Sorry to disappoint you but he is absolutely useless - he gets kidnapped several times, does not believe in magic but he is a powerful mage - and while you do all the work he ends up as the new king of kingdom Clouders (sorry not sorry for the spoiler). Which is a very disappointing development in the story!
I also would have loved to have seen more magical creatures in this game!

......but I have to say I still enjoyed playing it - it's smooth and kind of flows nicely even though the story is bad. I find it a bit hard to press the button for recommending it because of some big storyflaws. Anyways, I hope this was helpfull!

This is a very beautiful hidden object game. You need to complete the game in any mode and you cannot use any hints or skip anything. There are multiple guides if you were to get stuck at any point. Takes about 3 hours to complete and unlock all the achievements. Make sure to collect all the cards and ornaments.
Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends is the last game in the Eventide hidden object trilogy. This time, Mary Gilbert tries to save her brother, John, who is skeptical about magic, when he was abducted by a flying serpent to a kingdom above the clouds. I would say this game is the best in the trilogy, mainly due to the beautiful art, pretty interesting setting, and somewhat easier minigames. But I do admit that the "rescue abducted family member" formula feels a bit repetitive, especially since the previous 2 games also use that reason.
Gameplay-wise it's more similar to the first game, where there is no choice mechanic, which honestly isn't really that impactful. Luckily, the collectibles are more similar to the first game as well, the collectible cards show a bit of trivia about Slavic deities. Sadly, this game lacks a bonus chapter, but it's probably because there are, unusually, very few characters in this game, so that there really isn't another POV to explore. But maybe an epilogue chapter would be nice, either from the POV of Mary or John.
As with other House of Fables' titles, I can definitely say that Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends is one of the prettiest HOGs I've ever played, noticeable if you compare with the previous 2. If you're looking for the ones with beautiful artwork, give their games a try. Of course, it's recommended to play the first 2 Eventide games, or at least the first one, so you'll know a bit more context of the backstory, although it's not really necessary.
I enjoyed this game, quite a straightforward short game, just what ya want sometimes!

This is the weakest of the "Eventide" trilogy by far but it's got a few saving graces.

It started off all right and I liked how it ended but it wasn't as good as stories of the previous two games. Ironically enough, the story for this game felt both very rushed and choppy but it moved at a painfully slow pace. If certain things had been fleshed out more and the pacing improved, this game's story would have been much more enjoyable.
The villain was very one-dimensional, which wouldn't be a problem if the villains in the previous 2 games weren't (somewhat) more intriguing and memorable.
Again, the story isn't awful but the previous 2 games were just much better written and far more memorable.
Soundtrack: 4/5
It's a very pretty soundtrack that fits the magical, mystical environments and elements of the story. However, it was not quite as memorable as the music from the previous two games.
Hidden Object Puzzles: 4.5/5
This game has so many HOGs. Literally, it was like every 1-2 minutes there was one, and they were all well-done. Some were easier than others but the balance was appreciated. One issue I had was a pair of shears being called, "Lopper." I had no idea what that was and had to use a hint to find it.
Other Puzzles: 3.5/5
A very mixed bag. Some were entertaining and provided a reasonable challenge. Others were rather dull and uninspired. I am not just talking about the actual "puzzles" here but also any challenges presented in the game. i.e. the 3 trials you have to complete to summon Perun could have been better, and measuring the ingredients for the bomb could have been made into a challenging puzzle.

Beautiful environments and probably the best character animations of the trilogy.
Voice Acting: 4.5/5
Quite good if a little flat at times. Liked the voice of the friendly purple bird-thing (Aitvar?).

Fun to play if you are a fan of HOGs and fantasy elements, but the story and miscellaneous puzzles could be much better.

번역과 띄어쓰기가 매우매우 괜찮고, 숨은 그림 찾기 할때 번역 조금 이상한게 한두개씩 있지만 다른작들과 비교해볼 땐 숨은 물건들이 쉽게 클리어 할 수 있게 만들어져서 괜찮았습니다. 심지어 가이드도 있고 빈도도 적은 편 !!
도전과제인 수집품 찾는 것도 가이드 안 봐도 될 정도로 잘 보이게 배치되어 있고, 못찾으면 맵마다 확인하기 쉬워 좋았습니다ㅎㅎ
하지만 자잘자잘한 컷신들은 나름 호불호가 갈릴수도?
플레이 타임이 본편 하나로만 끝나서 3시간 미만이면 엔딩 볼 수가 있네요~ 도과러들에게 추천드립니다

Последняя часть трилогии Eventide стала достойным завершением серии и на мой взгляд получилась даже лучше первых двух частей. Что мне особо понравилось:

Если уж прям придираться, то, пожалуй, единственный минус игры - это абсолютно тот же сюжет, что и в первых частях, в котором мы спасаем [strike]бабушку[/strike] [strike]подругу[/strike] брата от Злого Волшебника. Но я играю в такие игры не ради сюжета, так что закрою глаза)
В целом, Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends безумно приятная игруля, которая позволяет, с одной стороны, немного прокачать логику и внимательность, а с другой, просто расслабиться и снять стресс. Лично я насладилась каждой секундой из наигранных 4.5 часов и считаю, что это абсолютный мастхев для всех любителей казуалок, паззлов и поиска предметов. Надеюсь, что остальные игры от Артифексов порадуют меня не меньше.
Again a HOG game at a high level. HO screens are bright with big items. Point & click mechanics are logical. Puzzles are the same or similar as in Eventide 2. But they are just very good and I see it in positive way that only really good things are used here. Really nice graphics and good animated parts. I didn't identify with the heroine that much as in Eventide 2 but it's possible that it's because of such a big fantasy concept of the world here. Like a good story for children. The story is good and I had a good gaming experience.

Well this... For one, I had no idea Mary had a sibling... For two... The ending... At least this one had the flower from the first one! The graphics are nice and oh yeah, I saw some things from the other two games. OH! The background on the startup is very pretty! And that "little boy" animal that likes birds is cute... And the otter... And the BIRD! The TOTEM TAIL BIRD! Aitvar? Probably.
Kay so um... For the last game... You get high and go to the place in the sky. No, I am kidding... But you do go up there. XD Not because you are high though... Okay, we got off topic.
This is a H.O.G... And... I almost did all the puzzles... That's surprising because... I never thought that was even possible! I feel like the story for Game 1 and 2 were much longer and deeper? But it could be just me...
Let's talk about the end... SO SPOILER if you don't want to know... Mary's brother: John (who is a scientist) now finds out he has magical powers he can't control. Then there is also God of Thunder next to him and John is like "oh... Okay... whatever." WHAT does it take to impress you SCIENCE MAN?! Then since the King fell... Instead of getting a Cloud person next in line... JOHN IS THE KING! He is like "awesome!"... Wait, really? I think he is in so much in shock and too much trauma was inflicted upon him that he freaked out and just accepted everything that was right in front of him... Poor guy...
Question... What happened to all of the prisoners? Did that one guy make it? Did he free them? Where did they go? Are they going to cooperate with humans again after what happened? Why are they all in just on prison? Kay, that was several questions... But still!
Anyway, game entertained me and made me do things... Thank you for the fun! ^-^ :) =)

Вот наконец я и добрался до третьей части hidden object про приключения цветущего папоротника в мире славянского фэнтези. Что касается сюжета - пожалуй он самый слабый из всех частей Eventide. В первой части мы спасали весь мир от ужасающего волшебника - Батлфилда Овервотча, во второй части спасали мир от ужасающего волшебника, а тут мы спасаем мир от... бл* тоже от ужасающего волшебника. В общем не суть, персонажи тут такие, что и спасать не хочется. Единственное что порадовало это качественные головоломки и приятные глазу спрайты. Я редко ставлю пальцы вниз подобным играм, уж очень мне нравится, откинувшись в кресле одной рукой натыкивать фигурки на экране, а второй рукой попивать пивас. Думаю по скидке любителям жанра понравится.

Качественный, но скучный квест/поиск предметов. Арты симпатичные, но не более, посредственный саундтрек, стандартный, пресно поданный сюжет. Даже за 4.4ч показалась затянутой. Как и во многих подобных играх, необходимо собирать коллекционные предметы для ачивки, и обычно, после полного прохождения ты мог вернутся в конкретные локи и собрать недостающее, здесь же ради одного предмета придется начинать заново.

Eventide 3 provides a nice closure to the series.
The quality of graphics has improved further. Puzzles are more diverse although some elements have been reused from the previous entries of the series. Sounds are okay, the main music theme is catchy. However, the story remains average.
Good gameplay improvements such as inventory object combination have been kept and advanced with some object manipulation.
Navigation is still significantly limited. On the upside, the game displays a warning when there are collectibles at the current location so at least achievement hunting is not limited by this feature.
The shortest Eventide game by a fair margin, Eventide 3 ends the trilogy with a game just as standard as the first. The inventory combinations mechanic returns from Eventide 2, but the choices mechanic does not.
Despite unremarkable gameplay, Eventide 3 has some of the most gorgeous and imaginative art I've seen in a hidden object adventure game. It's the first truly impressive thing I've experienced in this series.
The Eventide series gave me about 9 hours of gameplay. It's not spectacular or unique, except for the weak attempt at decisions in Eventide 2, but worth running through for HOAG fans.
Schöne Bilder, tolle Musik, abwechslungsreiche Rätsel. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Stimmung in dem Spiel, genau richtig zum Abschalten. Leider nur sehr leicht zu schaffen - zumindest für erfahrene Wimmelbildspieler. Es hat mir besser gefallen als der zweite Teil und zum Glück sind sie von dieser "Triff eine Entscheidung" Idee des zweiten Teils wieder zum klassischen Spiel gewechselt. Ich würde sagen ein solides Artifex Mundi Game, kann man machen!
the second game was definitely my favorite out of this trilogy, but this one was also pretty good. the art, as always, was amazing and the HOG puzzles and mini-games were pretty easy. except for that AWFUL marble game that the devs insist on putting into every blessed game that drives me insane and kept me from getting the "didn't skip any minigames" achievement >:( my only real complaint is one that's been mentioned about artefix mundi games: they really need to hire a lead voice actress who knows how to emote. she knows how to make her voice sound a certain way to evoke the emotion, but there's no actual emotion in her voice. it's a pity because she has a very nice, even tone of voice that's pleasant to listen to.
Wunderschönes Spiel mit viel liebe zum Detail. Wunderschöne Szenen und sehr unterhaltsame Story. So viel Arbeit und Liebe wurde in dieses Spiel gesteckt, dass wurde mir besonders klar als ich mir die Extras ansah. Kann ich jedem Empfehlen.
