I love this game ive played every game in this genre and this is as good as green hell which i have well over 3000hrs in I just wish it had some animals on shore to hunt and and sailing was a little smoother but overall this is a 10 out of 10 for me and the price is cheap cant loose buying this.

While it is not a bad game per se, it is competing with a lot of other games that pursue the same gameplay and setting. Compared to those other games it is sadly lagging quite a bit behind, especially how clunky the crafting and menuing can be at times. If you played a lot of other survival games and are looking to expand your horizon, give it a try, but be prepared to be a bit let down

объединить тактическую рпг и выживание голодранцем это крайне плохая идея, теперь я уяснил, короче что это за игра, мы голодранец на острове который... что-то ищет или кого-то, по сути не важно, главное выжить и добраться туда куда нужно, во время перемещения или элементарных действий по типу взять \ положить на землю, но как только вы совершаете действие, рубку деревьев , колите камни, строите или создаете снарягу, или добываете пищу вы очень быстро умираете, а дело в том что каждое действие как в фильме "время" отнимает ваше время и статы резко ухудшаются коих много, тут вы в панике начинаете искать себе пропитание и умираете, потому что чтобы добыть еду или воду нужно потратить время, для того чтобы приготовить мясо нужно 5 костров , которые тухнут от 1 удара по бревну в другой части острова, восстановите себе немного времени около 30 пойнтов а с водой тут прям беда, нигде её добыть нельзя, тратится она очень быстро да ещё и высыхает , смотришь - полная, ударил бревно пару раз - пустая, для того чтобы восстановить полностью запас воды , нужно 7 кокосов, добыть их нельзя это опять смерть, так как колоть кокосы тоже время, короче игра для тех( если это можно назвать игрой...) кому реальная жизнь кажется крайне медленной, так как в реальной жизни на 1 кокосе можно прожить 3 дня, а здесь нужно 7 кокосов за пару часов выпить, разработчик уверяет что это самая "реалистичная игра" - нет, глупости, в реальной жизни всё проще в 100 раз, я живу на 1 кокосе в 2 суток, я знаю о чем говорю))) короче это тактическая стратегия в реальном времени с элементами выживания (потому что есть условно "ходы", сделал неправильный ход - умер) сильно раздута, люди жили на хлебе и воде веками и никто не умер

The game is very raw. Many items that have already been entered do not work and lag. Even a raft, which is the only means of transportation, can disappear or fly. It is not possible to transfer resources. The hero's swimming mechanics have not been worked out. This product still needs to be improved. I understand if this game was given away for free....... Please return the money you spent!

For all it's early access faults, I have been loving this game. It's real survival and ocean travel. It's taken me a while to figure out how to safely sail away from my cluster of islands to find a new one and that's been the best. Sure, it takes a while to travel the seas in the hunt... so long that I thought that part might not be developed yet. I found my first new island cluster yesterday and it's game on. The graphics need an overhaul along with a far better explanation of what you are supposed to do in the game... it's not hunker down on an island. The challenge is to do the opposite and escape the Pacific (duh?) . I don't think there is an end to this game yet but the fact that it's not just limited to a tiny grid of 8-9 islands that are predictable makes this a REAL survival game. Thank you!

I don't want to upset fellow developers who are following their dreams for the game, but it's incredibly terrible. This is a fact. I saw it because I play similar games on the Steam platform. I bought it, but it's really a fiasco. I have a high-end computer (Excalibur) designed for gaming. There are bugs in almost every stage of the game. You create an item and it disappears. You build a raft and while you are traveling on land, suddenly the raft starts flying like a flying balloon for no reason. There are so many bugs to write... I don't know which one to write. I completely gave up on the game. Let me tell friends who will spend money in advance, don't throw your money away in vain. If they told me; we are designing a game and we need help, I would give the money I would give to the game for the needs of my software developer friends. But I would never spend money for such a game. It may be a very harsh comment, but you can't cover up the facts. I'm sorry software developer friends who are following their dreams for this game, but this is the reality. I don't want to create disappointment. Actually, it was necessary to understand something from the release date... Anyway, good health. I don't recommend it.

The dev(s?) make it clear they don't want you to leave a review if you experience bugs and to send them in before leaving anything negative... And while I can respect that, it's EA after all, I couldn't even play long enough to get to any bugs. It is so jank for a game in 2025. I played 20 minutes and it was so bad that I couldn't find it in me to play any longer. Terrible, outdated crafting system, no story to get you going, nothing to hook you. What ever is in the thumbnails for this, I can't even fathom having that much patience to get to. If this is 7 years of development, what did it look like in 2018? There are so many better EA games out there, I cannot recommend this one.

Don't sink a single euro into this game. It had potential, but the development is stalled and it seems like it gets "revived" when cash is needed
I invested the 14.99 EU back in 2018/2019 when it was first early access....
i play it every now and then hoping the major bugs have been fixed, but they havent, not even after 6 years.
28 hours playtime, so i have given this game a chance multiple times.

Primary major bug is:
Building a raft - which is quite essential - works flawlessly... but enter it to explorer islands, and you realise the mechanics in this game is broken. Raft starts flying left and right as soon as you step onboard and move - seems fun, but it breaks the game real fast.

I would have asked for a refund, but i learned a lesson for the 15EU... don't invest in Early Access games without researching the dev team first! So thanks for that G4G :)

I cant really give this game anything but a 2/10. Its another cash grab that has little to no progress. The visuals are pre 2010 standards and the crafting and building machanics are useless.

Having played many craft survival games this has to be one of the least inspiring. Yeah I know its EA but 3 years into it and this is all there is to show for it?

I do like to support the EA games but this seems to fit the trend of.... Release a substandard title, do little to no improvements, release a small update with no real gameplay content and call it a MAJOR UPDATE. Hoping to generate a few extra sales.

If your looking to buy this game then I would seriously look into other titles such as...

game is ok. but saves are broken. saves used to work fine but now broken. snap is a little strange it goes were it wants. however survival game is realistic except the amount of salt you need. there are no dangerous animals or dangers apart from food and water. The sailing is best part as its quite rewarding when you nail the right angles of wind. Overall its worth the money when you want a challenge without worrying about sharks and requiring 40 spears etc. annoying things like papayas dont increase hydration and the difference between drink and empty is the same button but how long you press the button ...oh and collecting water is painfull unless its raining. everyone knows in real life u dig a hole put a cup in hole, cover over hole with vegetation and drink the condensation but in every survival game you have to build a wooden frame ...etc..
sorry for ramble..no one game is perfect but this is getting there..1 step forward 2 steps back

Escape the Pacific is one of the most realistic survival games I have come to enjoy. In some aspects it is similar to Stranded Deep but in my opinion it is better. The mechanics of the game apply realistically, such as weight distribution. You really need to be creative and tactful in your thoughts. Keeping an eye on your health, supplies and the weather.

In comparison to Stranded Deep, you don't have 'bosses' you have to face just to gain something, which I was really excited about. This of course could change when they finish and release the development of the Story mode. Personally, I love the sandbox mode. Bosses in Stranded Deep was one of the things I dread about that game. Every island in Escape the Pacific is randomly generated (and the map is huge!) and some of them might even come with 'surprises' such as a chest with goodies, paddles (better than what you can build) and unique plants that maybe another island might not have. Also a plus, the wildlife isn't trying to kill you. So you can focus on the things that matter.

I'm excited to see what multiplayer will bring in the future. I some how imagine it to be something like the game 'Raft'. Two or more people building a base together and exploring what may be ahead. The graphics for this game are pretty decent so far and the sound effects such as the waves, thunder, rain, etc. are pretty spot on. The only thing I do wish would improve is making the storm clouds darker. During the day, i can barely see a storm (or its clouds), I only know it is on its way because you can hear the thunder in the distance. I do also hope they bring more ideas into the game for building such as more kinds of furniture or decorations.

Otherwise, if you're looking for a game that's survival, open world with exploration, creativity and not action packed, this might be the one. Also, I dont think sharks attack your raft but... I could be wrong. I have yet to run into one if they do attack.

Utter Garbage and typical EA lack of development. I bought it years ago because I wanted to support the developer but 6 years later its still a hot mess. I waited all this time to leave a review to see where it goes and if you want to build a house, a small raft, and never leave your starting cluster great. The bugs you encounter are only frustrating. If you want to leave your cluster get ready for a bug filled rage quit.

It's amazing to me with all the bug fixes posted by the dev it has the same bugs from 2018. In fact, I think the raft bugs are worse because the only way I can exit a cluster now is to sit down and never move again. The only real development in 6 years is supposedly a new graphics engine ( I can't tell the difference) and new a UI that didn't improve anything. Waste of money and no multiplayer in sight still, which is probably why most of us purchased it.

Steam should really stop allowing EA games but I suppose that represents too much money.

I never promote another game in a review but I'm making an exception, if you want this type of game buy stranded deep.

Game is moving in an extremly slow pace forward, loads of bugs still since the beginning. Still huge problems with physics with boats and other items flying high up on the air. The game engine has great possibilities but the game developers are way too slow. I have also seen the developer and the owner Radu attacking people that comes with negative reviews. I would have hoped that this game would have developed more then it has, if you see the comments they are great at creating expectations of what to come but don't deliver as much. This game will never finish.

Excellent advanced survival game with great progression and a large mix of items and builds. It's a true survival game, decisions about exploration and resources planning are key. You can't just expect to move through predetermined tiers (or levels) and just survive without thinking and planning. The mechanics are not too hard to understand, but they do take patients and some ingenuity (just like a real survival situation). It originally had some glitches with rafts flying around, but most of this seems worked out. Bottom line, great game for using your brain and thinking your way out of a near real survival situation - but has a little added fun thrown in with the tantalizing possibility of finding small treasure caches that will help you along. Overall great game - most definitely recommend.

This game is a delight. The endless world feels real. I'm getting good at sailing (when my rudder's not stuck on a sandbank) and I have a seagull named Jonathan Livingston. What's not to like? Just save strategically and you're golden.

Das Spiel ist schwer zu bewerten. Nichts in diesem Spiel wirkt billig oder minderwertig, und es ist weit von negativen Beispielen wie "The Day Before" entfernt.

Der Fokus des Spiels liegt ausschließlich auf dem Überleben auf Inseln und auf dem Meer. Mehr bietet es nicht. Keine Action, kein Taming, kein Anbau von Pflanzen. Das einzige dynamische Element im Spiel ist das Wetter, das zwischen Trockenheit und Regen sowie zwischen Hitze und Kälte wechselt.

Für eine Tech-Demo ist es zu umfangreich, für ein vollwertiges Spiel jedoch zu wenig.

Die Entwickler täuschen die Käufer nicht. Man bekommt genau das, was sie beschreiben. In meinen Spielstunden hat fast alles, was sie versprochen haben, reibungslos funktioniert. Daher kann ich das Spiel objektiv gesehen empfehlen.

Allerdings sehe ich ohne die geplanten Funktionen für Version 1.0, wie zum Beispiel:

Zusätzliche Werkzeuge und Waffen
Flora und Fauna, die sich je nach Breitengrad unterscheidet

keine positive Zukunft für das Spiel und denke, dass es von den Spielern nicht gut bewertet werden wird. Dafür ist das Spiel einfach zu nischig und eindimensional.

The game puts you in the shoes of a castaway lost in a vast tropical archipelago.
With no guidance or direction, you're left to figure out how to survive on your own.
The first thing that stands out is the beautifully detailed environment: the sea moves realistically, the islands vary in size and resources, and the day-night cycle adds an extra layer of immersion.
Each island has its own personality.

You’ll need to gather materials to craft tools, shelters, and most importantly, rafts to travel between islands.
The navigation mechanics are well-crafted, requiring you to consider the wind, currents, and the position of the sun to orient yourself, which adds a realistic and challenging dimension to the game.

What sets Escape the Pacific apart from other survival games is its relaxed pace.
There are no zombies or predators hunting you down; your main enemy is the environment itself.
This makes the game less stressful but no less challenging.
The absence of a constant threat allows you to enjoy the process of exploration and building, making it ideal for those seeking a more meditative survival experience.

However, the game isn’t without its flaws.
Being still in early access, it has some bugs and limitations that can disrupt the experience.
Additionally, the learning curve can be quite difficult for the new players.
Nevertheless, for those who enjoy experimenting and learning through trial and error, these issues won’t be a major obstacle.

If you like the idea of getting lost in an endless ocean and creating your own path to survive, this game is definitely worth trying.

i'm try to pay for 60 hrs. you can build your base, but if you try to sail to any other island you are dead.
Yours raft is 1000 meters over or 1000 meters under and you are dead you never know. After 6 years of dev

Me encantan los survivals y a este le he pegado esas 10h en dos dias, pero no puedo recomendarlo, cada vez que llueve el juego empieza a pegar tirones o cada vez que le apetece, y esos tirones y enganchadas se me quedan permanentes a no ser que reinicie. Cada vez que sin querer te paras pisando un objeto (algo muy normal en terreno de tu base, una rama pequeña mismo) el juego no para de dar micro saltos. Y lo mejor y lo que me ha hecho abandonar el juego, por mucho que mantengo la sal, la vitamina C, hidratacion... como carne y fruta no consigo recuperar vida y muero irremediablemente poco a poco. Si el juego funcionase bien empezaría otra partida, pero que vaya asi con una 4080 no es normal. No puedo recomendarlo

I am very impressed. As a long dark fan, I've been looking for another survival game that has put as much detail as possible into the various elements of survival and can say that this game has nailed it! The future development and plans look really promising and I'm really excited for it and hope they manage to add them soon! The realism and detail of the hot temperatures and weather and its effects on the survivor all make for a really fun challenge and I hope to see more, especially with the wildlife! Langweiliges Spiel ohne Ziel. Entwickler für mich traurig. Das Spiel ist seit 2018 auf dem Markt und nichts hat sich
was spielerisch reizbar wäre getan. Ein abklatsch von Strandes deep welches besser ist. Hoffentlich kommen mal bald Spiele
auf dem Markt wo man nicht Jahre warten muß bis es wirklich mal intressant wird und man offtmals nach Updates wieder von
vorne anfangen muß weil vieles wieder mal nicht funktioniert. Schade für die Spielwelt, aber wir Verbraucher sollten
mal reagieren und nicht direkt kaufen.

Pity.
Its got the makings of a fun game, but its way too buggy.
Its got so many bugs i just can not start listing them.
I kept trying to play the game, tried saving and reloading when ever i had to etc.
But final straw was the game crashing in the middle of saving.
I might come back to this at some point, and if the game has received some major fixes, like not launching the raft into the air for no reason, or all my hard earned logs vanishing for some none apparent reason, or falling half way through the raft, to, etc, etc, etc......nope sorry.

As a now 50 year old gamer (oof, that hurt a little to write), ETP is one of my favorite games in my Steam library. Not just one of my favorite survival/crafting games, but easily in my top five of all games, any genre. Granted, I’m not much of a fan of FPS, sports, or other popular titles.

Is it a AAA game, with a large development studio behind it? No. Is it bug free? No, but I have yet to encounter any game breaking bugs. If something isn’t right, I reload a saved game and go on. Is it continuously updated? No, major updates are months apart, but it also hasn’t been abandoned by the devs, like so many other EA games. Is it Stranded Deep? No. In my opinion, it’s better and that’s why I have ETP in my favorites and permanently installed games, and SD isn’t.

ETP is an independently developed, EA game that’s fun to play and continue playing. For the cost of a combo meal at any fast food restaurant these days, you get a survival themed game that doesn’t spoon feed you, but at the same time, it’s not difficult to learn or play, and replay. My first couple times playing weren’t perfect starts but I enjoyed the game mechanics to keep giving it another try. For these reasons and more, I highly recommend this game if you like survival/crafting games.

I don't have the time to spend as much as some people but I have played this for a while now & at first it was 50/50 whether I made the right choice. Mainly because the UI was flickering (minor issue) but also because the player could not stand still, constant shaking.

Both of the UI flickering & player shaking are now fixed, if you do shake a little just load up your savegame again & I find it cures the issue, but its nothing major now & the UI does NOT flicker anymore so most of the negatives below are already null & void.

The actual game is very interesting to play if you like survival games & if you do NOT want your hand held all of the time, with this game you need to apply just a little bit of thought, for some people this may put them off but if you like the idea of being stranded on an island & having to find out how to stay alive & all of what goes with that, this game has a great feeling of putting you there.

Its not perfect but nothing is, after all its a game that is currently in development but there is something about it that keeps me playing, maybe its the whole alone on a island that appeals to me, I don't know but its super fun.

I rarely read negative reviews, instead its better to watch videos on youtube & you can soon get an understanding of a game & whether its for you or now, some of the rather silly negative reviews on here recently like "worst game ever, don't buy it!" is completely unhelpful & tells me nothing.

I rarely write comments for games here, but I felt this one deserves a thumbs up, if it keeps on getting updates as it has already then great, even now though there is quite a lot to do.

An sich ist das Spiel schon toll. Mich stört auch der Early Access an sich nicht und auch für Bugs und ein unbalanced Game hätte ich in diesem Status Verständnis... wenn, das Spiel nicht schon vor 6 Jahren in den EA gegangen wäre und es immer noch so einfache Dinge gibt, die einem den gesamten Fortschritt und/oder Spielspaß zerstören können.

Ein 2x2 Floß mit einem Segel funktioniert nicht. Das Segel ist zu klein. Ach aber wenn mann was anderes gebaut hat und man nicht genügend Palmenblätter oder Kokosnüsse hat, kann man neu anfangen. Gesagt getan.
Neues 2x2 Floß gebaut. Diesmal zwei Segel, dafür kein Dach über dem Kopf. Auf geht es zur nächsten Insel...
Aber zu der Insel Insel segeln auf die der Pfeil zeigt? Unmöglich, da der Wind permanent aus dieser Richtung kommt und es kein Tutorial gibt wie man gegen den Wind segelt.
Was sagt ihr? Zick Zack? Ja, das habe ich versucht immer wieder mit dem Ergebnis, dass ich Rückwärts gefahren bin und am Strand meiner Startinsel gelandet bin.
Das Floß, welches ich also mühsam erbaut habe und für das ich mein Dach geopfert habe ist wertlos.
Zwei weitere Kokosnusspalmen geopfert und ein Kanu gebaut. Nun läuft es einigermaßen, denke ich zumindest. Ich habe sogar den Sextant gefunden... der nicht funktioniert.
Ok, vielleicht nicht so wichtig, ich baue erstmal meine Insel aus. Ach wie toll, im Regen. Moment, warum verliere ich immer wenn es regnet Lebensenergie? Ich bin nicht hungrig, nicht durstig, nicht müde, ich lecke jeden Tag am Mangroven-Baum... aber mein Salzgehalt ist dennoch niedrig. Und ab einem Wert unter 30 steigt der Körper halt einfach aus. Man verliert Leben wenn es regnet, wenn man Wasser trinkt, wenn man Möveneier sammelt... warte, was? Ja, genau. Man verliert Leben, wenn man Möveneier sammelt! Ich bin drei Mal verreckt, bevor ich gecheckt habe, dass es an den Eiern liegt!
Ok, sammeln wir keine Eier mehr und schauen wir uns an woher wir das lebenswichtige Spice äh ich meine Salz bekommen. Am Mangrovenbaum kann man scheinbar doch nicht lecken. Das Salzwasser kann man nicht trinken. Damit kochen kann man auch nicht. Man muss es auf dem Feuer verkochen bis man nur noch das Salz übrig hat.
Also ein Lagerfeuer errichtet und eine grüne Kokosnuss mit 1 Liter Salzwasser drauf gestellt. Und aufpassen, dass das Feuer nicht ausgeht. Immer mal wieder geschaut, wann endlich das kostbare Salz fertig ist. Nein, noch nicht. Hoffentlich regnet es nicht und hoffentlich bekomme ich nicht schon wieder Durst, sonst fällt mein Leben wieder...
2 Tage und eine Nacht brannte das Feuer durchgängig bis aus dem Liter Salzwasser 0,1 Einheiten Salz geworden ist. Und dann?
Aus dem Behältnis, welches man auf das Feuer gestellt hat, kann man das Salz nicht nutzen. Ich meine, ok, wir brauchen halt Salz zum Überleben, aber wer wären wir, wenn wir das Salz einfach so essen könnten.
Wir müssen also etwas essbares finden, das wir salzen können. Papaya? Geht nicht. Banane? Geht nicht...
Hatte ich erwähnt, dass wir Salz zum Überleben brauchen? Und das mein Leben schon ne Weile lang bei jeder Gelegenheit sinkt?!
Ich habe zwar nen Fleischeintopf und einige Stücken Fleisch auf dem Lagerfeuer, aber auch das braucht alles über einen Tag, so lange kann ich nicht mehr warten.
Salzlevel und Leben sind fast bei 0, ich muss irgendeine Nahrung finden, die ich salzen kann... Eine Käseecke? JA, eine Käseecke! Oh herrlich so eine salzige lebensrettende Käseecke.... äh, was ist das? Der Salzgehalt geht nur um 20 oder 25 Einheiten hoch? Und die Lebensenergie bewegt sich gar nicht nach oben?
Warte, als ich mal eine Banane gegessen habe, erholte sich meine Lebensenergie. Getrocknete Bananen habe ich noch... Ok, da bewegt sich nichts. Es müssen rohe Bananen sein. Auf meiner Insel brauchen die aber noch ein paar Tage... ich schaue nervös auf meine Lebensanzeige, meinen Salzgehalt, mein Durstlevel, das brennende Feuer mit der unfertigen Nahrung und den Kokosnüssen, die noch voller Salzwasser sind. Das am Himmel keine Wolken sind beruhigt mich nicht mehr, denn auch ohne Regen, weiß ich, dass ich nicht überleben werde...

An dieser Stelle nach knapp 35 Spielstunden, werde ich aber auch nicht noch einmal neu anfangen. Den Bug mit dem nicht funktionierenden Sextant mal außen vor gelassen. Ist gerade die Salz-Mechanik und die so stark eingeschränkten Möglichkeiten Salz zu sich zu nehmen, viel zu krampfig. Ich habe die letzten Abende an denen ich das Spiel gespielt habe nichts anderes gemacht als mich um das blöde Salz zu kümmern und am Ende reicht das nicht mal!
Vielleicht wird das Spiel irgendwann mal was. Ich schaue vielleicht in 6 Jahren nochmal vorbei, eventuell ist es dann ja auch aus dem EA raus...

Not sufficiently tested by devs. to be worth paying for. Even the basic functionality fails. The player character can't stand still on a bare stretch of beach and as everything seems to be affected by this "feature" it makes play difficult to impossible. (Rafts failing to sail, flying when carrying items) And a WARNING TO ANYONE AFFECTED BY SCREEN FLICKER the UI constantly flickers a second copy of all commands.

Why keep playing? Because behind all the faults there's a good game waiting to be easy/reliable to play.

After more than 80 hours in the game, I unfortunately cAme to the same conclusion as many of the negative reviews of the game. Although I really like the game and would have liked to see more of the world, the many gamebreaking bugs made that impossible. Several times advanced save games were made unplayable by these endless bugs. Never before have I been so frustrated by gamebreaking bugs. After the third time I've been forced to restart the game completely, I'm turning my back on it. Not even Bethesda's games are as buggy as this game. At least 10 times I had the bug after which I could no longer interact with any objects. Even if I like the game concept, the many bugs are simply unacceptable. It's a pity but I advise you not to buy it. FIX YOUR BUGS!

This is an EA island survival sim. Generally pretty relaxing and has some unique and well thought out game mechanics.

The early game loop is build your small base camp and travel to nearby islands.
-Find or build valuable things you will need for a long trip. Navigation systems, a large houseboat raft.
-Balance your nutrients but plan ahead. Food goes bad and you need to preserve foods. Fruit are seasonal so you may need to dry some for later.
-The later game loop tests your prep skills. Can you successfully travel to the next group of islands and start a new base camp without starving or dying of thirst.
-The base building is pretty good. You can improvise and build with what you have. Banana leaves? Palm leaves? Grass? If you are really ambitious build advanced walls with planks salvaged from islands.

The game is EA so it does not have a lot of exploration (aside from procedural islands with loot to help you expand) . However, the mechanics for various crop growing and food preservation are well thought out so there is a lot of smaller things to do. I think this is the biggest value of the game because it adds a lot of realism and there are small rewards such as improved health from eating a balanced diet.

An example of a more complex process is. You might find an oil lamp in a ship wreak. But its useless. What to do? Well take a coconut. Take the meat out. Take an empty coconut. Add the coconut meat and some water. Cook it on the fire. Now you have some oil for your lamp. Quality of life improves. Farming is also well thought out. You need to make compost using multiple materials. Ditto for food preservation.

The indie developer has been pretty dedicated to updates and listens to feedback. The UI has changed a few times and my observation is always to the better.

There are a few bugs during sailing so save before you leave an island. Make sure nothing is loose on your raft like a stick. It can sink you! The rest of the game is very stable and performs well until you start building really big.

I recommend game to support EA, participate in the journey. Personally I enjoy coming back to it every few months. Releases are slow, to be expected for an Indie, but I think the developer will continue building it out. This is niche for the well thought out survival processes and planning ahead.

This game has so much potential and I would love to give it a thumbs up, but the slow pace of development and the consisting game breaking bugs mean that I have to put a thumbs down for now. I really hope the devs step up and do better, because I really like this kind of game and like I said it has a lot of promise, but it is way to long in this stage and it doesn't seem to improve

If you like starting from scratch and survival natured games then this game is ideal. No cheats (none currently known) Multiple different ways to die if you don't pay attention to your survival needs. Even death by Angry Seagull if you steal their eggs! They don't give up even after you leave the island that you stole their eggs from lol, Weirdest way of dying i found so far and definitely funny. Play and amuse yourself in how many ways you can find to die or survive and thrive as a island hopping, shark whacking pirate chaser.

Kiedyś mi się grało świetnie. Niestety po zmianie interfejsu (experimental) gra jest zwyczajnie niegrywalna. Nie wiem jak przy normalnym ułożeniu klawiszy ale przez obecne zmiany alternatywny układ (np. na lewą rękę) jest tragiczny bo nie wszystkie klawisze da się przypisać. Do tego nowy interfejs nie jest ani trochę intuicyjny. Wróciłabym go gry na normalnym trybie gdyby nie masa bugów utrudniających grę (znikające obiekty w tym tratwa, którą budowałam kilka dni się do tego zaliczają)

Игра сырая хотя разработка идет уже 6 лет. Животных мало, крафт слабенький, подводный мир квадратичный, управление разбросано по всей клавиатуре, переназначения не сохраняются.
В последней версии отсутствует часть надписей на русском.
Глюки с плотом, его переносом.
Глюки с ящиками с кубками и лутом, который плодиться в 100, 200 шт... и освободить ящик нельзя.
Разработчик просто живет за счет недоделанной игры.

After almost 100 hours of play over a few years, I do NOT recommend this game. It's still as buggy as it was the first time I played. I've given it many tries because I love the concept. Unfortunately, sailing still extremely awkward (physics engine kicks you off the raft randomly), mechanics are still buggy, and graphics are still jumpy. The last straw is now earthquake-like stuttering that makes the game completely unplayable. The game had a lot of potential, but in it's current state (that has been this way for years), I cannot recommend this game.

Задумки интересные есть. Но всё еще очень сырая, недоработанная. Надеюсь, что проект будет дополняться, при том не только и не столько косметическими изменениями, сколько новыми механиками и доработкой старых (например, на втором этаже плота вообще ничего нельзя закрепить. Вопрос: а зачем тогда вообще есть возможность строить второй этаж?)

В крайнем обновлении особенно неприятно, что на всех языках, кроме английского, частично отсутствует перевод. Больше всего конечно же пострадал перевод на русский: больше половины информации отсутствует (пустота, знаки вопросов), либо на английском.
