triple 50" screens @ 4k, logitech rs50 dd wheel and modified rs pedals with new logitech h shifter.. so much fun!

only PITA is having to disable and reenable vsync before each race to fix micro stutter..

WRC24 has a good variety of cars, better than DR2 but not as good as WRCGenerations.
Good tarmac surface, i'd say better than DR2. Slightly stiffer feeling dirt/gravel surfaces, could be either good or bad but to me they all feel too similar.
Lacking many maps that are in every other WRC games (USA, Wales, Argentina etc) as it only contains maps that are on the official (now outdated) calendar for the WRC.
Fun progression system at first but it gets repetitive,
Great customisation options for the cars and their liveries.

Overall nice for time trials. But there are some things I would change:

1)The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ countdown length at stage starts is sooooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long.
2)Menus are slow af, and sometimes even though the menu hasn't faded in yet you can still interact with it and for example start a rally but you can't scroll left or right, to, for example, go to tuning. This results in you just loading into something you didnt want to press and now you have to wait again to back out to service area or whatever.
3)It is impossible to acess settings, go to serivce area while you are on the starting line and are still waiting for the slow as ♥♥♥♥ countdown to finish.
4)Can't disable ghosts before starting rally, you have to wait for the slow and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long countdown to finish.
5)The countdown at the start of stages is reaaalllyyy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long and annoying.
6)The WRC1 battery system is stupid and not customizable enough(i.e. the throttle level at which you are using your hybrid)
7)The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ countdown before stages...(I hate it)

I installed this when it was released, played for a bit, quite enjoyed it, left it installed to come back to because it was a hefty download on my connection. I may have even pre-ordered, what an idiot.

Came back and now it won't connect to the server. Tried verifying files, updating anti-cheat, all the usual stuff you see from a search ... no joy. I sure as hell ain't reinstalling.

Life is too short to deal with this. I'm an IT professional and get enough of this techie grief during my workday.

I had more fun playing Colin McRae 2 installed from an abandonware site for nostalgia giggles just before deciding to get back into a more "modern" (i.e. ♥♥♥♥♥) rally game.

Uninstalling and vowing never to buy another EA product.

If you wanna try a rally game that goes beyond the very shallow level of something like Forza Horizon, and want a dedicated rally experience but aren't ready for something like AC Rally to crush your balls, this is your best bet. It has all the car options and great driving Dirt Rally 2.0 had, with the inclusion of stages from real world WRC events, a very robust career mode, and an in depth tutorial with actually very useful information. It gets you ready for rally driving, with info like what your co-drivier's calls mean, how to execute different turns, handling different surfaces, etc. And once you get that down, you have a ton of options for cars and difficulty levels. I particularly appreciate how well they capture the feel of the cars. FWD/RWD/4WD have unique handling characteristics, the Group B cars are terrifying monsters, the modern stuff is (relatively) smooth but lightning quick, etc.

Super fun game! Lots to do like career, championship, club events etc. It's fun to drive same stages with same cars and drivers what you see in real life. My friends had some bugs with the game, no bigger bugs for me at least yet. It's easy to drive with xbox controller too. Nice addition to Dirt 2.0 and Assetto Corsa Rally. Interesting to see who makes the next official WRC license game.

Game is unplayable on my personal laptop. With graphics set on lowest as possible the game looks awful and it runs bad, lots of stuttering. I managed to play it on some much better PC it ran mostly great, played great. Dirt Rally with graphics set to ultra runs way better and looks way better than this on lowest. I don't get why they don't optimise this for lower end PC's.

I used to have good game performance even with the RTX4060 on a 49inch monitor, but after a few updates, the performance went to unplayable levels even with DLSS and everything on low. And now, after I upgraded to an RX9070 XT and an even stronger CPU, the game runs horribly. I'm talking stuttery 38FBS at best on a training course.

So in short the game is unplayable for me and I already played it for 30 hours so I can't get my money back at all.

Buy AC Rally or DiRT Rally 2.0 instead of this.

It has a very small learning curve so after just a few hours it makes me feel like I can actually rally. I am about twice as good in this game than I am at ACR so this one for me - at moment- is much more enjoyable. VR is amazing and with proper ffb and a small haptics setup it’s the most immersive game I’ve seen blowing all AC or Dirt games out of the water mainly because of the telemetry feedback.

Muchos se quejan de las graficas, y tienen razon. Sin embargo, lo he disfrutado muchisimo y aprecio la variedad de autos y la fidelidad de los sonidos de los motores y los turbos. El modo carrera me entretuvo al principio, sobretodo cuando estas aprendiendo. Es bueno para el progreso, desde el junior hasta el WRC1. El modo de regularity es interesante, pero me termino aburriendo. Me hubiese gustado mas opciones para los autos que armas tu mismo. Recomiendo jugar en los clubs online, para medirte constatemente con la comunidad.

Gdy usłyszałem że codersi będą robić WRC, ucieszyłem się jak dziecko. Pomyślałem że teraz to dopiero będzie tytuł wypasiony, ale niestety się rozczarowałem. Tytuł nawet nie jest zły ale EA zmarnowało potencjał jaki ona w sobie ma.

Na plus :
- Bogaty wybór samochodów (od lat 60 do teraz)
- Możliwość zbudowania swojej własnej rajdówki
- Zarządzanie zespołem
- Muzyka w menu

Na minus :
- Ogromny chaos w karierze (wszystkie klasy pojazdów wrzucone do jednego worka
- Brak pogrupowanych zawodów dla Juniorów, WRC2, WRC, klasy historycznej
- Przeciętne trasy
- Przeciętna optymalizacja
- Problem z uruchomieniem się gry (gdy uruchamiamy ją po raz pierwszy)

Nie jest to zły tytuł, ale został nie potrzebnie skomplikowany. 6/10

Feels like a sidegrade from DiRT Rally 2.0. I'm not saying it's worse, it's just different.

It's a very good rally game. I really love it for what it tries to be.
I uninstalled it after research over the kernel anti-cheat.
I never play this online, so having kernel level anti-cheat for an offline experience is just a no go.

100 GB für ein Spiel das aussieht wie Need for Speed Payback und sich genauso spielen lässt. UND das bei diesem Preis finde ich unverschämt!!! Selbst das letzte WRC also Generations ist 1000 mal besser. Anschein merkt man das EA die Finger im Spiel hat, das als großer Rallye-Fan enttäuscht leider sehr!!!

This is such an odd title because its made by the amazing Codemasters team but they switched to the Unreal 4 engine, and unfortunately their efforts are subpar in many ways to the older benchmark setting Dirt Rally 2.0

The bad:
- weather effects are basically not there
- wet roads, puddles, snow puffs form hitting banks, etc. also not there
- reflections are also missing on pretty much everything
- shader stutter inherit to UE4 present
- frametime pacing even on new hardware is poor
- lighting, color grading, HDR exposure and bloom are all washed out or missing
- few unusually bland stages
- requires high end gpu for 4K 100fps

The good:
- lots of detailed cars
- lots of rallies and long stages
- few top tier design rallies
- since its UE4 many issues can be corrected via Engine. ini tweaks
- vast ammount of visual, performance, game overhaul and car mods
- windows autoHDR can be enabled via tool to fix washed out looks
- excellent car sounds
- ALL DLC come included with base game purchase
- driving physics are also excellent
- DLSS and FSR framegen

Overall this game is good and very enjoyable when setup with mods and running on a pc capable of fluid framerate. It should be picked up on a deep sale and it absolutely MUST be modded to be enjoyable. I can't reccomend it as is. Out of the box its straight up bad.

The rally stages (tracks) are pretty good, the variety there is nice. But the poor optimization is the downfall of this game. It should run much better than it does, getting acceptable frames in VR takes quite some time dialing in the settings, and what you are left with isn't a polished looking experience, dirt rally 2.0 looks better in VR and plays better. Do not buy this game if you are looking for good VR sim racing.. go play dirt rally 2.0 STILL. hopefully a new sim racing game comes out that is actually good soon

EA Sport WRC es uno de esos juegos que, se le ha odiado y se ha sido mucho mas duro con el simplemente por llevar la pegatina de EA. EA Sport WRC es, de base, Dirt Rally 3.0 pero con la licencia de WRC y con un (para mi gusto mucho mejor) modo carrera.

Antes de empezar y por razones obvias, mi analisis se basara mucho en comparar este juego con el anterior de la misma empresa.

En cuanto a la conducción y las fisicas... son practicamente las mismas pero con algunos parametros cambiados (estoy seguro de que usan el mismo motor de fisicas) que son el deslizamiento y el peso del coche. En WRC los coches se sienten mas ligeros, mas agiles y, además las transferencias de peso se notan mucho mas, lo que tambien hace que los coches deslizen mas. En Dirt Rally 2 los coches se sienten mas pesados, deslizan menos y la transferencia de pesos no es tan importante en el manejo del coche.

Ahora bien ¿Cual tiene mejor manejo cual es mejor? pues realmente.. ninguno, las fisicas se sienten relativamente realistas, creibles y muy parecidas en ambos. En lo personal me gustan las de ambos juegos ya que usando fisicas similares, aportan estilos de conduccion ligera aunque suficientemente distintos como para disfrutar de ambos juegos, por lo que creo que se complementan muy bien, mas aun cuando los rallies de ambos son distintos.

Sobre los Rallys, muy similar a lo visto en Dirt Rally 2, la calidad es muy buena, al igual que el rango de dificultad que existe entre todos los rallies con el plus de que estan basados en localizaciones reales (y no inventados como en Dirt Rally 2)

Y ahora lo que destaca de WRC respecto a Dirt Rally 2 es en el modo carrera. En WRC tendremos un modo carrera real año a año, mucho mas completo, con un calendario semanal con distintos eventos, rallys, pruebas, economia, progresión... no es demasiado profundo pero es mucho mejor que en Dirt Rally 2

Lo "peor" del juego es quizas los graficos, y no porque sean malos (aunque la iluminación es muy mejorable, gracias a dios existe un mod para ello) sino porque estan a la par con los del Dirt Rally 2.0 siendo WRC mas nuevo y teniendo peor rendimiento.

En conclusion: Si te gusta los Rallies y te gustó Dirt Rally 2, este te va a gustar y lo vas a disfrutar. Además es un juego que se complementa muy bien con el ya mencionado. Si no has jugado a Dirt Rally 2 te recomiendo que lo hagas. Y, si estas entre DR2 y WRC... si le das mucha importancia al modo carrera, WRC sino, ve a por el que esté mas barato y dejale el ojo echado al otro.

I get the anti cheat complaints but compared to Dirt Rally 2 the physics are so much better. (If you think I didn't play enough DR2 check my xbox account's time in game (JustASink#4039), compared to Assetto Corsa Rally (I will be getting) it just currently doesn't have nearly enough stages for me to bother with, and lastly I'm not taking the time it takes to set up RBR to a playable degree.

l'application anti-cheat m'empèche de lancer le jeu. Si vous avez le malheur d'avoir une application tierce qui lui convient pas, le jeu ne pourra se lancer. Je ne parviens plus à lancer le jeu à cause de l'application tierce Daemon Tools que je n'ai pas sur mon PC. If you want to compete with others online in Championships then you're going to hate the glaring bug in this game. If you roll the car and put it on its side or roof there is an issue that it will never stop sliding. This means you can't reset to track with a penalty, only get a disqualification if you wait, or, you skip to the next day getting an 8 minute penalty.
It means that one slight incident ruins an entire rally and as EA have abandoned this game it'll never get fixed. Save your money.

Tried the game for a while and it was good - while it worked.
All of a sudden I was unable to play the game due to the AntiCheat nonsense which has been mentioned countless times before.
I have since been scratching my rally itch via Dirt Rally 2.0, purely because it works (even though it is an older game) and am eagerly waiting for a proper full release of assetto corsa rally in the mean time.

I've had this game since for over 2 years now, I can say as my first rally game I've ever played. It is my favorite racing game to play. Although I am not exempt from having my own issues. My main issue was with one update that reset my wheel presets and my career. Although it kept my level and my time trial records. I haven't had issues with anti cheat like others have. Overall a fun game.

不推荐，没有中文很难受，而且最近更新了反作弊中文补丁也用不了了，而且配置不高画质很垃像十年前那种一样，本来开始期待值很高的，结果现在会是这个样子总之不推荐

Güncel alternatifi olmadığı için oynamaktan başka çaremiz yok. Oynanış kişiden kişiye değiştiği için artı olarak sayılamaz. Bazıları çok gerçekçi isteyebilir. Direksiyon setleri içinde tam uyumlu fakat yıl oldu 2026. Bu sebeple tek artısı, sınıfının en güncel oyunu olması.

Gra swoją drogą pomimo hejtu nie jest najgorsza. Aczkolwiek graficznie gorsza jest od Dirta 2.0 bo twórcy postanowili przejść na Unreal Engine co było bardzo słabym ruchem z ich strony, bardzo się to przekłada na optymalizację i spadki FPS w niektórych sytuacjach.
Model jazdy dobry, nie można się przyczepić. W sumie gdyby nie ten guwniany silnik gry to mogliby zrobić 1:1 Dirta Rally 2.0 z licencją WRC, ale cóż, odwalili autyzm za który zebrało im się po gaciach, i EA już NIC nie robi by grę ulepszyć.
A co do pojazdów jest ich dużo, co naprawdę jest klasą samą w sobie. Pominę współczesne sezonowe zawody WRC bo one są słabe. Bo kto ma pamiętać czasy '00 to rajdy zaliczyły spory regres. No po prostu jazda I20 czy Fordem Pumą nie sprawia żadnej przyjemności.
Jednym słowem jeżeli komuś faktycznie zależy na 100% licencji WRC i chce się przejechać na oficjalnych trasach. Dobra niech to kupi. Ale jak ktoś chce grać samochodami z złotych czasów rajdów samochodowych to niech kupi sobie drita rally 1kę albo 2kę, które są lepsze graficznie pomimo swojego wieku.
Gdyby nie UE i guwniane komunikaty pilota wprowadzające w błąd (kwestia mojego gustu z pilotem) to byłoby 10/10 tak to jest 7/10. Lepiej mogli by zrobić kopiuj wklej z Dirta Rally i byłoby 10 na 10

It sucks that this is the state of rally racing games. In terms of rally titles; EA WRC has some of the best gameplay when it comes to racing, but powering through the rest of this absolute ♥♥♥♥ storm to get to the racing is unacceptable. Control mapping is hilariously bad. There are some actions you just *cant* do with a mapped steering wheel - you will be forced to bring a controller or a keyboard with you. There are listed Simwheels with specific models and the mapping is WRONG. Why list a wheel if its not mapped right?

And the whole 'manage a season' is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb. I just want to race. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about some benefactor, or a budget, its just quite possibly one of the worst progressions i've ever seen in a racing game. Its just awful.

Assetto Corsa Rally has been promising so far. But very limited content. In regards to WRC - the fact that you have to even try to decide between a brand new game and almost 10 year old rally games tells you everything you need to know. If you really need that rally itch scratched, it will work. But you will feel dirty after.

Love the game!
If you are a WRC fan its a must have, all the modern cars from JWRC, WRC2, WRC and tracks for the series, along with a ton of retro cars to choose from. I purchased the base game a few weeks ago during an EA publishers sale for $12 and it included all the add-on dlcs! So you shouldnt have to buy all the add-ons now.
I am just dissapointed that EA stopped developement as they had a good base and they didnt fully optimize the title in the last update.
That being said, I havent had any issue that many complain about and with some research I've got the game looking and running great on my system.

I greatly prefer the handling, physics and FFB over Dirt Rally 2.0. Mostly due to VRS excellent WRC preset and suggested ingame FFB.

A oublier pour les joueurs VR c'est pas terrible du tout comparait à un DIRT 2.0 magnifique ou prochainement un Assetto Rally qui promet bien mieux j'espère. Et la VR ne sera jamais amélioré puisqu'ils ont annoncé clairement sur leur site qu'il arrêtait le développement du jeux. On prend vraiment les consommateurs pour des vaches à laits chez EA Sport.
