Why is this game so hard? Because you suck at it. But that's okay, because you likely wont suck at it forever. It plays like DnD in a sense that you first approach fights as "the hero" thinking you can win them all, but get humbled by a beaver. It takes a while to understand that you need to be smart in almost all encounters. Even when you have the stats and gear, you cannot just brute force everything.
Exploration is rewarding, if you want to get ahead, you need to look everywhere. Talk to people. Read everything. Investigate the world around you with the look skill. I keep finding things that I walked right past, or chose a different path.
22 hours in so far, enjoying the game. The story itself seems far away from me at the moment, but I'm not the hero, I'm just a guy with a mission.
I recommend this game if you have patience, and enjoy putting in effort for reward.
Additionally, I play this both on my Desktop as well as my Steam Deck V1 (works at 60 fps no issues)

二编：打到第四章感想，地图设计和成长曲线都太烂了，地图存在各种分层和岔路口，有的地方你看着能过去就硬是给你拿障碍物挡上让你绕路过去，结合任务的弱引导简直就是灾难的体验，到第四章学会跑图技能才改善一点点，可是已经难受三章了吃过的shi也吐不出来了
这款游戏最夸张的一点就是随着剧情推进会送属性夸张的离谱的装备，把你自己探索世界击杀怪物一点点提升属性的所有努力给否定掉。某些评测认为这款游戏有老滚的影子是真的一点不负责任张口就来。
In den ersten Stunden war ich sehr skeptisch, ob mir ein Gothic-ähnliches Spiel in 2D gefallen würden, die Sorge hat innerhalb einiger Spielstunden in Rauch aufgelöst.
Das Spiel erzählt eine ganz nette Geschichte und hat ordentliches Gameplay. Ich war leider nicht ganz so Hin und Weg wie erhofft, aber habe keine Sekunde meine Spielzeit bereut.
Bin gespannt wie es von hier aus für das Entwicklerstudio weitergeht.

This is only a lukewarm recommendation because the game doesn't respect the player's time. The directions are often aimless and wandering for extra hours hoping you find what you're looking for just isn't good game design.

Drova definitely reads like a Gothic love letter and is highly successful at that. The vast open world that rewards exploration and is only gated by you successfully killing or avoiding various monsters, the skill system, the difficulty curve, the uneven spread of content between the chapters... The good and the bad - the last part about chapters feeling uneven was not a compliment, but this was exactly the same in Gothic 1.
If you're a Gothic fan, this is a must play. And if you haven't heard of Gothic before, this is a great introduction to the Piranha Bytes formula.

Uno de los mejores RPG que he jugado, 40 horas me ha dado. Gameplay divertido, buenos controles, gráficos muy bonitos pixelart, muchísima profundidad en gameplay e historia. Un sobresaliente. Lo único un poco chapa con el tema de los diálogos, mucho texto algunas veces, y es fácil perderse entre tanto nombre de tantas personas distintas. Pero el juego es un sobresaliente.

If you liked Gothic 1 or 2 you will like this game even if it is 2d.
Why? It has this sense of rewarding discovery which other games simply lack.
You also get the feeling of progress you dont get in other games.
If you like to explore the areas in extreme detail, this game will reward you.
And even then most of the bosses were challenging and fun.
Yelling at your screen after loading 20+ times.. what fun :) (no irony)
I really enjoyed a lot about this action RPG that’s seems to be set in a fairy realm out of Dark Ages Central Europe. The combat is difficult enough to challenge me but capable of being overcome, although many times by reloading saves. Only once was I forced to lower the difficulty down from classic to explorer (the spider boss fight) while most of the time I could just flee if the fight was too much.
This game seems to be inspired by Gothic, a game I’ve never played. For my part, what it felt most like was Underrail. It shares a similar art style, a similar society trying to eke out a living in an apocalyptic setting, the same sense of being an almost completely open world but punishing exploration quickly, the same nobody starting character who grows into their power, the same tough, on edge NPCs who have no time for nonsense, the same rewarding of exploration, and the same sense that each fight is potentially deadly but ultimately beatable if you approach you just right.
Underrail is one of my all-time favorite RPGs, so the comparison flatters Drova. And Drova would make my top-tier all-time list if it weren’t for a few shortcomings. Combat is mostly smooth except every so often it seemed as if the PC would get caught in an animation mid-combat that would be brutally punished. The combat is probably easy for most but I had to really pay attention to get it down right. And the world is quite small by the time you explore it. It’s very well laid out to encourage exploration and the size is explained well in the lore but it nevertheless would have been a bit better with a larger map. And the story is a bit railroaded at points when I would have expected my PC to make a different choice in that situation.
Still, the devs did a great job. The story is great. It’s a sort of localized epic tale. Even if I would have made a different choice, I like how it unfolds and nothing feels overly forced. The factions offer different philosophies that actually make sense in the world. I didn’t get the apparent good ending, based on what I saw online but the ending I got isn’t all bad.
I played it on Steam Deck and it worked perfectly. The soundtrack is pretty nice. I would recommend it if you like dark action RPGs.

2d готика, прикольная боёвка и механика, конечно как по мне всегда по сюжету что-то не хватает, в конце все слишком быстро переобуваются. конец скомканный, но мне понравилось. будет ещё один заход после перерыва. оценка 8/10. надеюсь будущие игры студии(возможно в этой же вселенной),будут ещё лучше.советую!

玩家可以在开局对角色的身体特征（如体型、肤色、嗓音）和外貌（如发型、发色、装饰，胡须）进行自定义。同时，玩家也可以选择初始道具，对自己操作有自信的玩家可以选择不带初始道具，而求稳的玩家则能携带药包、生命戒指、钱包等物品，这在初期能有效缓解生存压力。
在难度设置上，本作提供了三种模式，分别为经典（官方推荐难度）、狂人（最高难度，适合硬核玩家）以及路人模式（难度简单，适合休闲玩家），极大地照顾了只想体验剧情的轻度玩家，也让硬核玩家能够挑战自我。另外，路人与经典模式在游戏过程中可以自由切换。

游戏的序章剧情比较抓人，我们本是偷偷跟踪村里的几个同伴行动，却莫名其妙地到了世界交汇的十字路口，被迫踏上了前往异世界的旅途。
而到了异世界后，存在两个阵营的理念交锋，一方怀揣着愿望，试图将这个世界改造成原先世界传说中所描绘的美好模样，而另一方则是想逃离这里。两大阵营的对立推动了主线的发展，让玩家在了解世界观和做任务时有比较强的沉浸感与代入感。
[h2]战斗系统[/h2]
本作的动作系统富有策略性。玩家需要按C键亮出武器进入战斗状态，通过鼠标左键攻击，空格键进行闪避。游戏提供了种类繁多的武器供玩家挑选，并且支持设置两套武器组合，按下R键即可切换，应对不同的战况。装备盾牌后则能进行格挡。不过要注意，格挡虽然能减少伤害，但会消耗耐力，影响进行其他操作。
值得一提的是敌人的“体势条”设定。在敌人的血量下方有一条黄色的体势条，只要通过攻击将其打破，就能对敌人造成一段时间的硬控。
[h2]危机四伏的世界[/h2]
《困兽之国》的地图比较大，元素很丰富。游戏巧妙地利用俯视角做出了一些玩法，比如长按右键可以透过障碍物和云雾观察到被遮挡的物体，脚印等特殊痕迹也会被高亮显示，这让探索解谜变得非常有趣。在日常探索中，玩家可以对物品进行互动或检查。
虽然地图广阔，但是要小心，这里比较危险，生存难度比较高。举个例子，我们可能会遭遇负面状态，例如不小心走进荆棘丛后就会有流血的DeBuff，在一段时间内持续掉血。再举个例子，哪怕可以查看地图，玩家也很容易迷路，然后一不小心就会碰见高强度敌人。因此，我会给新玩家一个建议，那就是多存档。
[h2]经济与成长体系[/h2]
在击败敌人后，我们可以搜刮道具。交易系统方面是以物易物，玩家在交易时拿出自己的物品和钱，与商人交换等价值的物品。
游戏每次升级能恢复全部血量，对于续航十分实用，还能获得学习点数来提升能力值和解锁新知识。这里要注意一下，知识和武器常常需要达到一定的属性值才能学习、装备，所以为了厉害的知识和武器尽力提升属性吧。
快捷栏的设计比较方便，消耗品放上去后按对应的快捷键就能使用，在战斗中可以利用这些道具战胜对手，赶路时这些道具比如回血道具也能让我们的游戏体验更加流畅。
[h2]最后想说的话[/h2]
《困兽之国》是一款好玩的像素RPG佳作，探索机制丰富和战斗手感不错都是优点。当然偶尔会碰见的强敌有时会带来失败感，但只要坚持下去，这款游戏能带来纯粹充实的体验。
43小时打完真结局，整体算优秀的。
1v1的战斗系统做的好，合理利用体力条和弹反可以越10倍属性杀敌。但是1对多的战斗系统做的差了点，被怪群殴就很难还手了，也就是大后期学了法术把精神拉上来后才好打点。
剧情方面整体还是不错的，遗族和米奈顿都有独立的任务，玩家的选择是能切实影响到npc行为的，比如你在支线任务中得罪了芭贝西，她就不会教你技能了。
前期跑图稍微不太友好，建议看攻略去完成任务解锁商队传送或者去学习暗影步魔法跑图，熬到学习魔法之后是真的扬眉吐气。
Great game
Грустно, но ставлю палец вниз.
Люблю очень трилогию Готик, включая третью часть. И Дрова мне казались в этом смысле нехилыми такими дровами для печки готоманства: ну вот прям то же самое, но с видом сверху. Чего ещё желать?
И геймплейно игра и правда близка к своему прародителю. И в ней возможно словить этот приятный вайб, когда ты просто бегаешь-изучаешь локации, совершенно про всё забывая. Но меня от неё отворачивают 2 вещи:
1) Так себе писанина. Очень много люди говорят про то, какая Готика замечательная в плане мироустройства, в плане игровых циклов, в плане её приятного реализма, который почти никогда не душит. И очень мало о том, какие замечательные тексты были для неё написаны! Притом, что сам сюжет максимально прост и даже грубовато примитивен, маленькие истории в игре ну просто на вес золота. Встреча с почти любым неписем оказывается увлекательной сама по себе!
В Дровах и близко к этому уровню не подошли. Персонажи картонные и одноклеточные, говорят порой как в каком-нибудь рассказе про попаданца. В игре атмосфера вроде как довольно конкретная рисуется, но в каждом диалоговом окне она просто аннигилируется. Мне и во 2 Фоллауте эта смесь мрачняка и клоунады не понравилась, но там хотя бы клоунада талантливая. Тут - вообще нет.
2) В игре очень занудный дизайн уровней. Она итак страдает от вида сверху, когда обзор очень ограничен и нормально ориентироваться тяжеловато, но как сумасшедшая к тому же спамит узкими лабиринтами и бесконечными препятствиями на пути. Порой как в Море Утопии себя чувствовал, когда знаю, куда мне надо, но приходится делать лихой крюк. Или ради маленького неисследованного островка десятки минут убивать на облизывание каждой стенки. Чтобы узнать, что исследуется он с другого края карты.
В итоге тот чудесный момент в Готике, когда оказываешься в городе и с кайфом растворяешься в тамошних квестах, тут меня просто утомил. Вне города бегать ещё интересно, а круги наворачивать по мелкому лабиринту, чтобы хлипкие мемы от графоманистых дундуков читать... тьпфу. Без хорошо написанных квестов и прям живого мира, наполненного осмысленной жизнью, а не штампованной рутиной - мне оказался жанр неинтересен.
В целом я хотел игру до конца пройти, но мне просто трудно заставить себя её просто включить. Увы.
Ich verstehe ehrlich gesagt nicht, warum dieses Spiel ständig mit Gothic verglichen wird! Die Quests sind besser. Das Kampfsystem ist besser. Die Story ist viiiel besser. Ich habe etwa 60h für einen halbwegs vollständigen Durchlauf mit Addon benötigt. Das Spiel strotzt vor Liebe und Herzblut. Fantastischer Geheimtipp.

Drova is a nourishing morsel of gaming experience.
I recommend this game to you.
40 hours of play puts me at the end of a narrative which evoked emotions, puzzled me, and satisfied a button mashing itch that I've had since Golden Axe III. As I write this I find myself dissappointed that I didn't check if Drova had a spin move to shoot fireballs. The way mechanics are revealed to you is a bit sneaky like that. That feeling of enigma and simply-faceted lore warrant a second playthrough.
The map is a quilt of transcended Golden Axe III biomes that you map/chart through warily. Exploring is very rewarding, and I found myself drawn about the world by interests beyond quests. The forests and heath of Drova will stay with me. Like Matataki Village, the Wise Owl Forest, and the Black Forest of Nosgoth.
Combat is fun, with archtypal weapons leaving you to find joy in the pacing and rhythm.
Spear and Sling combo felt great to play through, I found it gave me an answer for every opponant. Though, it did take me half the game to work out that keeping your off-hand free gives you access to a different weapon maneuvre. Unsure if this should be more obvious, or if I should not be stoned during tutorials. On my next playthrough, I will use sword and shield, I'm excited to get amongst the shield system. Magic system is easy to use, with good offense, defense and utility. I never used defence, I also didn't come back from beyond the red rocks quite a few times.
Well written. Dialogue options felt obtruse and railroady at times, but I guess that's life.
My frustrations were carried and addressed by a great narrative structure.
The characters are memorable and endearing in a 2-dimensional way. The two dimensions have depth though. It's not a boolean thing.
Played through on my laptop, bluetoothed to a PS4 controller in Big Picture mode.
Auxed into an old JBL xTreme 2 speaker. At times my laptop charged from a usb powerbank while out in the bush. Mobile Drova arcade was very fun inside a rainy swag near the Clarence River.
Oh yeah, the animation for spearing a fish was busted for the entire game. Dude would spear the fish, then immediately grab it and go to idle animation- then fish animation starts while you're in idle. Fish slides up out of the water as if on an imaginary stick, then vanishes.
Unsure if other people get this, or just a product of my setup.
Drova is a fine example of a game.
It uses the strong parts of the medium well, while covering the limitations with charm.

之前各种宣传高自由度，实际游玩下来其实自由度并不高，瞎逛会被各种高级怪逮捕，地上的一切资源都有限，不看攻略玩真的会没有游戏体验。另外战斗手感很差，总体来说不推荐，除非骨折
Si je ne devais prononcer qu'une seule et unique phrase, je dirais que c'est une excellente surprise.
Il y a de l'explo, de l'action, des secrets, des choix moraux avec leurs conséquences, de petites phases un peu frustrantes, des êtres développés et attachants, divers styles de jeu, de la mythologie, une évolution du monde au gré de l'aventure et de son personnage, un arbre de compétences + des sorts, une ost qui passe, un bestiaire et des combats largement ok, ...
Un univers captivant vécu au travers de moments dramatiques et humoristiques voire féeriques ou épiques avec un soupçon de notions vertueuses ... ou pas. :D
Il y a quelques axes d'amélioration possibles, peut-être qu'un jour l'on découvrira les Terres d'Avalon sous leur meilleur jour. (les dev's si vous passez par là ... ! <3 )

If you played those you would easily recognise similar game-mechanics traits here as well.
The world is bright and interesting to investigate, the whole walk through would take about 30 hours

Je ne laisse que rarement des avis, mais Drova est un jeu captivant qui m'a marqué, un RPG à l'ancienne avec du pixel art de qualité, des sons et musiques extrêmement réussis, une liberté de choix suffisamment présente pour ne pas se sentir sur un sentier scripté. J'ai acheté ce jeu car j'ai lu de très bons avis, mais je n'en avais jamais entendu parler avant. Je ne m'attendais à rien de spécial mais ce jeu ne me laisse que de bons souvenirs, et ces souvenirs vont rester longtemps. Ce jeu a réussi à se faire une place dans la liste des jeux qui m'ont marqué depuis mon enfance, quand je découvrais les RPG et les jeux d'aventure... bravo aux développeurs, ce jeu mérite une place au soleil !

"Ukousni si jenom tolik, kolik dokážeš sníst," říkával můj děda. A s touhle hrou je to přesně ono.
Svět Drovy není velký, ale je tak akorát hluboký. Chodíte sice vlastně pořád sem a tam po nevelké mapě, ale postupně nacházíte nové stezičky, jeskyně a tajemství, takže zabere tak těch 35 hodin, než všechno prošmejdíte. Příběh není žádný epos na 100 hodin, ale má svůj začátek, prostředek a konec, do toho pár vlastně docela dojemných momentů. Asi nejvíc na hře cením, že je stejně hutná celou dobu a nic nepůsobí uspěchaně nebo odfláknutě. Takže vlastně kolem a kolem - fajn. Za rok si na Drovu nevzpomenu, ale ten čas s ní byl příjemný.

Хорошо все. Музыка, дизайн мира, враги, бои, прогрессия персонажа, нарратив и выбор.
Сюжет полон темных моментов. Парочка таких могут сделать больно, особенно если не отыгрывать героя.
Крайне рекомендую. Даже если есть во что поиграть, Drova может сравнится с некоторыми "громкими" релизами.
Весьма неплохо, в целом. Drova однозначно стоит того, чтобы её купить и пройти. Кое-где откровенно душновата, подлагивает иногда, а также не даёт сохраниться в некоторых моментах, что вынуждает вас каждый раз, проигрывая боссу, перечитывать диалоги заново без возможности нажать "Пропустить всё" (в игре такой функции нет). Ну и простой игру не назовёшь - нужно старательно прокачивать персонажа. Некоторые моменты в Drova не очевидны: приходилось гуглить, чтобы понять, что делать дальше и куда идти.
Больше минусов не заметил. В душу игра, к сожалению, не запала, но она точно заслуживает внимания.
P.s. для русскоязычных пользователей: в мастерской Steam есть очень хорошая локализация игры.

探索做的非常棒的一款游戏！一个右键观察功能给了这个游戏无数的可能性，而制作组对这款游戏精心的雕琢又让这种可能性最终变成了乐趣！
Отличная глубокая РПГ, видно, что делали с душой
Good game - engaging story, rewarding exploration, and satisfying power progression.
Some criticism:
-Quests were a mixed bag. Some were great but were in between an abundance of fetch quests. Finding quest locations/characters was also super tedious at times
-Magic was introduced too late. Totally on board for the plot reasons and apparently a patch was introduced to address this complaint... but I found only one spell and it was situational at best
-In a similar vein, would have liked to see more weapon skills
-Would have used a 'Learning Point' reset potion but did not want to go through the tedium of having to find all of the different teachers again
-Factions and their respective goals were not explored in enough detail. I joined Nemeton and did not know the Remnants goals until the last few sequences of the game.
insanely good game, exploration, map, story rich, challenges feels very rewarding when overcome and even insightful the way they make you shape your own story.

En prenant son temps le jeu prend une trentaine d'heures a terminer ce qui est selon moi très correct,
Le game design est extrêmement bien fait, l'ost est aussi très agréable, un gameplay satisfaisant, je recommande très fortement !

These are the only cons:
Weak music/ost.
No locations listed on the world map.
Travel takes a long time, even with the limited fast travel, and you don't get a real movement spell until you beat the optional super boss. Both fast travel and the movement spell were post-release content, too.
The only thing else that I don't care for is the pixel art. Just not a fan. I'd prefer something like Bastion or Hades, even in a flat 2D style. I mean, I'd love for the game to be 3D like Bastion, but the damn studio is called "Just2D" so that will never happen. Anyway, while I don't care for that aspect, I won't hold it against the game because it's not a flaw, it's just not my style.
But other than that, I love the game. I'd like to say I love everything about it, but well, I just said I don't :p. Still, it's a masterpiece. Amazing. As I said, 10/10. The game's good ending seems to imply there will be another in the unexplored lands, and I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥' wait if that is the case.

Playing on controller is way better than kbm. I didn't like the lack of world map and then I didn't like how the world map looks or works. The way food works is amazing. Items and spell scrolls are awesome. I like that you have an unlimited inventory. The main world music could be a lot better. Each weapon is fun. All the gathering mini games are fun.

This game is super dense. There is stuff everywhere. It's kinda overwhelming cuz I feel like the game is pulling me in many directions at once. That feeling is made even worse with how explorable the world is, not that this is actually a bad thing. Now, I kinda should just focus on following the main quest, but I can't help myself. I'm level 11, and I've only gone as far as the Ripper Inn place. I've done all of the pit, but hardly any of the Remnant camp. I'll start on that this evening. I'm using spear and shield, but at some point I'd really like to try daggers, but prolly not until I get everything in spear.

I've done almost everything you can do in act one. Soon, all I'll have left to do is join a faction. I also found out about this camp of giga bandits outside of the Remnant camp. I went in spell-scrolls-a-blazin' and armed to the teeth with potions and items. I killed them all and got my reward of giga bandit armor. It took nearly all of strong spells and items. The reward was great, but it's maybe too strong early on. So, I reloaded. I'll come back when I'm properly kitted out.
2026/02/23
I started today by finishing some quests, and then I went on full explorer mode. I went to many mid-endgame areas except for one, as I heard that I would advance the game early. I did go into that area just a little bit cuz I had a quest there to do, the one where you build your own talisman. In my exploration, I got an Epic Axe, which has become my main weapon, and Legendary daggers that I'm not using. Enemies melt before me now. I finally ended the session by joining a faction. I chose Nemeton cuz I hate Boris and Green > Red. I did a few Bulletin Board quests and stopped. Tonight, I explore again to see what has changed in the world and to take on the Arena. Oh, and I killed a Leshen. What a pain in the butt those enemies are.
2026/02/24
Now that I'm geared up, I went and fought the bandits again for the giga bandit armor. I won by using one spell and one focus potion. It was EZPZ. With the new armor, I wanted to find a good helmet to go with it. I spent a long time looking for the Death Mask. I didn't even know what it looked liked but I figured it was a skull. All I knew about it's location was that it was in the southwestern swamp and buried with a body. I don't know how long I spent looking. I was starting to think it was fake. It wasn't until I found something sticking out of the mud that I realized I needed to check the mud and not the solid ground. I eventually found it where I first started looking, but in a mud pit. I also did some Arena stuff, but I'm holding off on part of it so I don't just have the MSQ to do. I eventually made my way into the Primeval Forest and got my Spark. I also started the Bloodborne quest. I missed it in chapter 1, so now I have to wait until Act 3 to finish it, or so I've read. I then spent forever agonizing over which weapons I wanted to use. I only have one potion of forgetfulness left, so once I pick, I'm locked in. It's either Dagger and Axe or Spear and Axe. I was actually considering going Spear and Daggers, but I did my testing on Bady since he is the only enemy I can fight with enough HP to see how good each maxed-out weapon path is. And in my testing, I beat his butt a few times. What sucks is that the reward is really great with an axe, but totally useless on Daggers and Spear.

I started today by becoming one with the forest. Shortly after that, I led a group into the forest, killed the forest god, and killed the forest. I did warn all the forest people. I even talked to the forest god but he said it was OK to kill him. Tho, I guess we didn't kill him, but trapped him in a rune vessel to harness his power. After that, I took part of a festival where we burned a guy alive. I also finished the Bloodborne quest and got a good ring. Later on, the forest dweller leader went mad so I had to kill him. Oh, and I got magic. Getting magic led me to respecing. Now I only use the axe and I dumped everything into mind for as much focus as possible. I also did a bunch of lore stuff, some part of the msq, and I got a nexus helmet and now I have the best armor in the game.

I think I'm too sick to play today, but I remembered something. So, early on, you can sabotage the best fighter in the Arena. One of the ways you can do this is by banging his GF if your upper arms are muscular enough. Later on, if you then beat him in a fair fight, you can go back to the same chick, tell her you beat his butt, and she'll bang you again. On top of that, you get +1 to dex both times.

I have recovered from being sick. I went around the world searching for the divine crystals. I found them all and took them to the blood swamps. There, I charged them with magic that allowed me to enter the game's final dungeon. But before I left the blood swamp, I found a key that allowed me to fight a corrupted god and free its soul. It's the hardest boss in the game, but I beat it first try. All it took was over half of my potions, and I had like 60 across two different kinds, but that's mostly because the entire fight has you debuffed so your healing is cut by 50%. My reward for freeing this wolf spirit was the ability to turn into a spirit wolf, which increased movement speed by 50%, which was potion-exclusive before. It was literally the best reward in the game. Shame I couldn't have had it 50 hours ago. After that, my faction entered the final dungeon. Fought some enemies, saw my faction leader die to the other faction leader, I then fought that faction leader and became the leader of both factions. After that, I climbed to the top of the final dungeon, a tower, and there I freed the trapped gods with the power of friendship and courage, and when I freed them, they cleansed the lands of the death fog. And now, though the magic is gone with the trapped gods freed, the people basically have a brand new world to explore. And that... is Drova.
To everyone who loves a good story, interesting gameplay, and of course, original Gothic fans - this game is worth every penny. I am glad to see it made all the way from a demo to a full game with hours of awesome content, including interesting quests, characters, decisions, puzzles, fights, and more. Thank you for this game!
It's kinda fun. I don't feel like it's selling gothic-like 'hardship' tough place vibes that much(archolos mine quest aside), but overall it is clear that the inspiration stems from there. It was fun to grow up the ranks and indeed the game just becomes the more satisfying in some ways the more you play it. I wish there were even more ways for the world and quests to recognize the powers growth, like more late-game quests- but it just shows that I liked what the game already has to offer.
There were some mechanics(like the cute spirit thing), which made me think there's going to be some cool metroidvania-style design, allowing a player who has a key ability to cross, however it didn't really go that direction.
Also, there is rarely much reason to buy weapons most of the time, since you will get a better or the same in like hour to two afterwards just through exploring. Wasted opportunity I suppose, happens often in rpgs unfortunately.
I actually enjoyed the late game fights the most- due to how they were designed, I really felt I could do this kinds of gameplay for another 20 hours, unfortunately I reached the end.
Overall very fun game. Probably will play again on hard difficulty at some point.

Great game, great story. A real spiritual successor to the Gothic series.
A really good indie RPG, reminiscent of underrated classics but with its own unique presentation. If I had to describe it in the simplest terms, it felt to me like if you took the pixel-art visuals of classic computer games of the late '80's/eary '90's and used them for a game whose gameplay mechanics make it feel kind of like a classic Elder Scrolls game, where you're free to do whatever you want however you want and the only limits are whether you're strong enough to survive. There's factions to join, sidequests to do, NPC's to meet, items to craft and weapons/skills to master by learning from specific NPC's who are adept at them.
Um dos melhores jogos que já joguei, enquanto você progride no jogo acaba percebendo o verdadeiro personagem principal do jogo (pelo menos pra mim) que o universo de Drova em se. Ele é frio, injusto, perigoso e cheio de misticismo, e quanto mais tempo você passa nele entende porque os personagens de la são tão hostil, porque esse mundo te torna um e isso é magnifico ele te segura e te traz uma imersão bem unica.
Bom após dizer isso tudo, tudo que posso dizer é baixe tenha sua propria jornada, infelizmente ainda não há tradução mas se você tem um inglês ai para entender bem, vale muito a pena jogar e embarcar nessa jornada.

Absolutely magnificent game with amazing atmosphere, soundtrack and story. It gives you some challenge at the beginning, but it's well adopting with time time and growing of play skill and character. It has good developed world and characters story. I'd totally recommend it to everyone who loves Gothic's style RPG and pixel art.

Excellent successor for Gothic series. I first started playing it, got the impression that it feels like Gothic and only afterwards google up that is indeed a spiritual successor.

Dieses Spiel ist wahrlich das, was man sich von einem Rollenspiel erwartet. Man rennt keine Minimap oder einen Kompass ab, du musst dir Karten verdienen und dich selbst zurechtfinden. Man hat sein Journal und gut ist. Fähigkeiten werden wie beim Vorbild bei Lehrern gelernt, die einem was dazu erzählen und am Anfang bist du ein Furz und bis du dich für eines der Lager entschieden hast, bleibt das auch so. Die Essenz von PB kommt hier erstaunlich gut durch, die Entwickler müssen es geliebt haben!
Dennoch ist die Welt - die Geschichte - eine komplett eigene und lädt extrem zum Erkunden ein. Alte Ruinen und viele verschiedene Biome erzählen von einer Vergangenheit, an die sich niemand mehr erinnert und die es zu entschlüsseln gilt. Zwischen den vielen interessanten Lagern und Höfen gibt es viel Raum um gegen Viecher zu kämpfen, aber da sollte man oft F5 nutzen, um nicht frustriert zu sein :D
Die Leute sind rau aber viele davon herzlich und es gibt dicht gepackt viele Aufgaben und Geheimnisse zu lösen. Das Spiel hat mich überrascht.

勘察模式的设计很赞，特别是在2d俯视角的形式下。玩家可以注视周围，看到被图层遮挡的内容（比如树木），也可以发现隐藏要素。一来，美术上放开了一些限制，场景布置有了更多选择，环境表现也更有层次。二来，玩起来也有不错的探索感，注意力被引向场景中的可互动内容，既方便藏东西，又有发现脚印之类的有趣设计。停住脚步四处看看，很自然地成为了动态过程的一环。
喜欢第一章的故事。两个阵营里诸多角色，各怀鬼胎和理想，在末世求生求乐。角色和台词到位，任务也考究。许多任务开个头，却难猜测接下来会怎么发展；比如刚和竞技场主管聊完，[spoiler] 就被小老弟叫到旁边准备搞事[/spoiler]。一些比较重要的任务，后续仍被引申或涉及；比如寻找丢失的武器。一些比较刻板的任务，也有不错的转折或意外；比如打老鼠，[spoiler]当出现一大大大群大地鼠的时候，真是乐坏了 [/spoiler]。

探索是重要的乐趣之一。在这个相对开放的大世界里摸索，在丛林、山崖、遗迹之间游走。荒凉和危险，陌生和距离，塑造了原始荒野的氛围。树影遮掩着山路，不知通向何处，却在兜转之间突然发现一处营地，一具遗骸，一片遗迹。
但是，之后二次、三次频繁跑路却相当磨人。或许因为从一种大众的游戏习惯来说，对未知世界的好奇，有时会想要回归到对内容的掌控。比如说，探索完毕的遗迹，下次再来的时候，即便不能传送，我应该知道在哪，或者至少知道要往哪走。不断熟悉陌生世界，不断领悟生存技巧，从而形成了一张“心里地图“。然而游戏的地图和关卡，并不支持这一点，。
一方面，虽然地图功能有趣又有风格，但恰恰难以应对纷乱参差、缺少识别度的道路网。另一方面，由于2D俯视角的先天劣势，玩家视野里永远面对一张等面积平面图，无法眺望远方，更难在头脑里形成空间关系。横竖交错的线条分割了区域，如果像素素材没有明显的特点，会很快因为重复感而失去对特殊性的把握。尽管沼泽、山林、花田等大区之间差异是明显的，但当进入局部地带，面对一片差不多的水塘、山道、灰白遗迹，就很难分辨这是哪跟哪。“有那么个地方，但我不知道怎么去/得重新再探索一次路线”。
零星分布的地点，成了不连贯的、空悬的孤岛，不再像是一片开放、连续的大地。遗迹仍然承担着任务的要件，发挥着叙事的功能，但探索的乐趣被削弱。只为了任务而前往遗迹，就像是传送到孤立的副本中，除了必须吭哧瘪肚地再次在原始丛林找路。
不好说是缺点还是特点，归根结底，游戏想要追求的两个设计要点——原始荒野的氛围，和开放世界的空间——两者在2D俯视角下产生了某种效应。即便带有一些不太愉快的跑图体验，仍然勾画了一种独特的环境氛围和空间关系。或者说，游戏追求独树一帜的探索乐趣，所以遭遇了独此一家的体验（困境），算是独立游戏的魅力时刻吧。
顺便一提，怪物不会刷新、战斗痕迹保留，也是一个相当不错的设计，地上的遗留充当着路标功能，成为一路冒险经历的某种反馈。

有几个操控方面的细节。玩家根据武器的进攻节奏，在恰当的时候点击进攻键，会触发招式连段（进而涉及一些构筑），虽然实际打起架来，我常常在乱点一气。玩家可以使用快捷键切换技能，然后再通过一个专门的按键释放。主角拿出武器的时候，无法交互和拾取物品，也不能使用注视观察模式。
这几点概而言之，与其说是对主角的限制，更像是对玩家的限制，挑战不在主角面前，而在玩家身上。如果排除经验不足之类的技术性困难，制作者似乎在强调一种扮演感，一种有些仪式感的交互方式。如同使用游戏道具“符文石”，需要先调用，再使用一种能力。又比如拿着武器的时候，当然不太方便剥皮、拔牙之类的搜检动作。
但在多个环节上不断地遭遇阻碍，操控感受就显得有些硌手。

总的来说，许多地方都透露着制作者的独特心思。其中一些的综合效果可能有待商榷，但独立气质确实拉满了。而且游戏完成度很高，设计原则和风格也大体一致，外加不少值得一提的亮点。不错。

Жаль лишь что искусственно крайне затянута — вы не сможете попасть в некоторые места пока не продвинетесь по сюжету, и будете заниматься постоянным бэктрекингом без возможности "нарисовать" карту. Почему нельзя было сделать карту мира в приближенном формате при крайне неудобной навигации на месте? По той же причине, по которой вам дадут возможность перепрыгивать узкие водные преграды лишь к концу игры, а почему некоторые квесты выполняются лишь пробежкой туда-обратно по всей карте (о, да, эти прекрасные посылки)? Потому же почему вы не сможете получить серьезное оружие/магию без того, чтобы дойти до третьей главы. В той же Готике эксплоринг вознаграждался — тут же в лучшем случае найдете смишной шлем, который ни на что не влияет (кроме затычек для ушей и одного, нужного для [spoiler]одной из концовок[/spoiler]), да даже если найдете что-то хорошее (под "хорошим" я понимаю +3 к урону), вы не сможете использовать без того, чтобы накачать суммарный кап по статам за пару-тройку уровней.
Как итог — в игре после 30 часов становится очень-очень душно (это я только к 28 часу пришел во вторую главу потому что люблю всё исследовать в подобных играх). Возможно, чтобы не замечать этого коридора постоянного, стоит просто бежать по сюжету, походя выполняя побочки. Впрочем, что получить "настоящую" концовку придется или пользоваться гайдом или пылесосить, как я, карту, ругаясь на разработчиков.

Ну что сказать — игра супер, игра класс!
Если честно, это очень достойный представитель своего жанра. Первый акт проработан просто до мелочей: всё чувствуется цельным и продуманным. Боевая система интересная — она не перегружена, но большего и не нужно. Сюжет простой, но увлекательный, побочные задания тоже простые, но цепляющие. Играется легко, без лишнего напряга.
Единственный момент по геймдизайну — после поиска некоторых секретов начинаешь понимать, что можно было бы добавить чуть больше сокращённых путей между зонами. Немного доработать этот момент — и было бы вообще идеально.
Со второго акта начинаются небольшие разочарования — заметно, что разработчики будто начали сбавлять темп. Если в первом акте каждое твоё действие ощущалось значимым и имело последствия, то во втором создаётся ощущение, будто персонажи выпили зелье забвения.
Я проходил игру досконально и по наитию. К моменту вступления во фракцию меня были готовы принять обе стороны. Но после выбора одной из них вторая словно забыла всё, что я для неё сделал — как помогал, спасал, поддерживал. Диалоги сводятся к чему-то вроде: «Ты кто такой? Ты же из той фракции, иди отсюда». Выглядит это странно и ломает погружение.
Дальше — больше. Секретные NPC во время диалогов забывают, кто ты такой, игнорируют прошлые взаимодействия (будь то история с таверной или Лигой расхитителей). Таких моментов достаточно много, и из-за этого общее впечатление об игре постепенно ухудшается. Думаю, именно поэтому у неё такая оценка.
Итог: 8 из 10 пиксельных свинок.
Играть рекомендую на 100%.
Если бы разработчики сохранили вариативность и последствия не только в основном сюжете, но и в диалогах и отношении к главному герою, это была бы твёрдая 10 из 10. А так — часть потенциала, к сожалению, пострадала.
Одна из лучших игр своего жанра. Порой кажется, что пиксельная графика в эпоху сочной 3D картинки -- нечто не заслуживающее внимания, но это ВООБЩЕ не про Дрову. С каким теплом и душой нарисованы объекты, персонажи, неписи... Ребята, ну не могу я описать словами какой это МЁД. Боёвка осваивается быстро, а комбинация нескольких видов оружия поможет на скилле выносить даже самых сложных врагов.
Это литерали 10/10, если вы любите красивые, интересные и проработанные миры.

我是一位严重3D眩晕的玩家，因此各类3A大作基本和我无缘，也没怎么玩过开放世界游戏，动作游戏几乎不涉猎，操作基本为0。这款游戏可以说是踩了我的各种雷点。但是阴差阳错进了我的推荐列表打折买下之后发现非常有意思，玩上了之后欲罢不能，高强度玩了大概十天通关的。游戏中各个NPC性格各异，前三章支线非常多，甚至猫狗猪羊也可以互动，不同类型玩家都能找到自己的乐趣。阵营之间理念相争也很有想法，游戏立意很不错。战斗方面我就不锐评了，虽然各种技能和武器组合非常丰富，但手残如我只会穿个重甲举个盾一阵乱戳乱砍。不足也是有的，有些任务地点描述比较模糊导致老迷路（当然可能也是一种探索乐趣），而且因为NPC名字原文不是中文，导致根本记不清谁是谁，谁在哪。不过因为所有剧情都是发生在一张大地图上的，只要记熟了就也还好，可以克服。我在最后通关的界面上看到了一些人物的立绘，不知道官方可不可以出个设定集、美术集之类的，我真的很想看一看这些个NPC不是像素风的样子！

Great game! I really like that exploration is really rewarding. Also there is a sense of mystery tucked away in every corner. Plus the story is really good in my opinion. It started slow to be honest but as I learn about the world through each lore piece then things started to pick-up and everything made sense.
Would highly recommend this game. :)

Действительно местами очень похоже на готику с ее специфической картой, а также опасными, но интересными исследованиями. Не сказать, чтобы боевка тут была какая-то особо сложная, все работает по схеме прокачал-шмот ушатал монстра посильнее. Сюжет не назвать хоть сколько-то стоящим, но можно топить за разные фракции и получить разные концовки.
Считаю, что попробовать стоит, пусть даже и по скидке, есть ощущение, что в проект вложено много сил и любви

整个游戏的数值，流程和难度设置都有巨大的问题，初期低等级根本没办法探索，即使开了修改器锁定血量，因为攻击力太低打个小怪都是重复劳动。升级的学习点可以学习力量，敏捷，精神，但是精神前期找不到人学习，法术在第四章前学不了，到了第四章的结尾阶段，难度又陡然上升，前期近战流数值低，后期没有群攻能力，面临的都是十几个甚至几十个敌人。法术流派前期学不了精神和法术，根本就没有法术流派，但是到了第四章往后法术流派相对近战又有明显优势，但是这个游戏的洗点只能洗掉技能，又没有办法修改前期加的属性点
