Lowkey this does not hit the same as the original freeware version that is / was hosted on IndieDB back in the day. I would just play that. The art direction is much better in that one too. This is a great series nonetheless and is worth buying if you want to support the developers. I really feel like it's the graphics for me that turn me off with this one. It tries too hard to look like it's a dungeon crawler and not a dungeon puzzle game. idk, it's like if Puzzle Fighter didn't use chibi sprites or if anime games didn't use flat playdoh textures or cel shading but instead human skin... Or if Tekken used cel shading!

Контента хватает: разные классы, расы, боги, модификаторы подземелий. Одну и ту же карту можно пройти совершенно по-разному, в зависимости от билда и решений по ходу игры.
Игра не для всех.
Если хочется экшена — мимо.
Если нравится считать ходы, оптимизировать и побеждать не силой, а головой — зайдёт отлично.
Хороший вариант для коротких сессий: зашёл, подумал, прошёл или сдох — и пошёл дальше.

抛开那些机制上的创新不谈，游戏在内容本身也做到了足够丰富：7个种族，4*3个职业，十多道法术，数十种道具，相互之间差异极大，让各式各样的搭配成为了可能；而玩家要面对的怪物也不是善茬，高耸入云的恐怖数值和五花八门的霸道特性常常在初见时令人望而却步，也正是如此，经过一番精心计算后险胜怪物所带来的成就感也更加非比寻常。
不仅如此，作为一个Roguelike魔塔游戏，本作在背景音乐和文字描述上也超越了绝大多数同辈，特别是游戏内的不少文本都充满了辛辣的社会讽刺和极致的黑色幽默，有一股浓烈的、上世纪左翼思潮盛行时期的戏谑文风，这在语言文字普遍贫乏的Roguelike中实属难得。

It’s an RNG dependent puzzle game rather than a roguelike. It’s also quite repetitive and grindy and if you make a couple of wrong moves (often without realizing it) the game punishes you like 50 turns later, making the level impossible to complete. Meh.
TLDR: I was looking for a dungeon crawler and got a strange puzzle game with surprisingly good overall reviews for the obvious flaws.
Longer version:
The gameplay is repetitive and simple: you explore an unknown dungeon and reveal enemies. By fighting them you get injured, but it's the only way to level up in order to be able to beat the final stage boss. Healing is mostly done by moving into still undiscovered parts of the dungeon.
This results in a strange and annoying gameplay mechanics: fight enemies at your level and avoid exploring undiscovered tiles of the dungeon when at full health since that depletes your "healing pool". At higher diffculty stages you desperately need the healing feature of all these "undiscovered healing tiles" to survive.
And here the game becomes a puzzle game with gambling aspects: the dungeons are randomly generated and if you do not (by chance) discover the proper monsters at your level soon enough, you run out of "healing tiles" in the late game. Then you find yourself in a situation where you discovered the whole dungeon, see every remaining monster, but you're too weak/injured to beat the final boss. You cannot heal up any more and there is nothing you can do about that - just restart the dungeon an hope for better luck next time.
Different races/classes/spells/items simulate tactical depth that actually does not exist. In the end it's always reduced to this messed up dungeon puzzle gameplay - if you're looking fo a puzzle game, you might like this game. If it's about medieval dungeon crawl/role play etc. you will be disappointed.

仅对于我来说，有很多挑战都不知道解法，不明白对应的机制，地下城随机性比较高，感觉脸黑的话真的可能通不了，本质上可以算是一个计算游戏，计算得好的话，跨级杀也是很正常的事情，由于地下城是非固定种，我基本都是刷一个来打我啊，开局然后一直刷级，最后数值打，但是到后面难度的关卡这招似乎不管用了，刷到8级打10级，可能要靠石化来刷，但是石化感觉用法不是很懂经常封路，来打我和石化搭配好像又没有经验叠加的加成，到后面属实是没有玩法思路了，搜教程又非常的少

I was looking forward to some dungeon crawling roguelike fun but that's not really what I was getting here. It's a very punishing puzzle game with limited - often only one - ways to beat the levels. The game wants you to plan ahead while not giving you the information to do so. The map is dark and has to be lit up by your hero's movement, where you can find buffs, items and enemies randomly generated. You have to use spells in the best order to kill enemies and level up to be able to beat the final boss each level. I was willing to overlook the ugly art and music, but sitting at a couple hundred gold and not being able to progress buildings without multiple more runs already this early into the game made me quit.
Legitimately one of my favourite games of all time.

Про то что любой уровень можно пройти, если хорошо подумать- чушь, просто если открывать не те квадраты, и на пути будут попадаться не те монстры, что нужны на текущем уровне персонажа, то уровень станет непроходимым- это и есть единственный минус игры, генерация могла бы работать более благосклонно к игроку, но нет, приходится перезагружать уровень, а если уровень сложный, то перезагружать его придётся много раз, пока противники не будут идеально расставлены по пути открывания клеток.
Но игра всё равно интересная, надеюсь что она бесконечная.

Very-clunky to operate with the key-board and RSI-hell to operate with the mouse. I'll suggest Monster Train 1 instead for a similarly-strategic and slow-paced game; or the free DCSS.
What’s most frustrating is that the game pretends to be casual, pick up and play fun, but it’s the opposite, it is repetitive and constantly reminding you that one wrong move 30 turns ago ruined everything. Instead of rewarding experimentation, it punishes it, leaving you with a roguelike that feels like it was designed by someone who hates roguelikes.

i bought because meat boy is in it. hes just a basic enemy and nothing else. it feels like a mobile game. lots of useless dialogue and fingers pointing you around your town telling you to spam click a bunch of things to create items or whatever. got boring fast, not a lot of charm. you have to click on the level 1 enemy, then the level 2 enemy, then the level 3 enemy, and if you get stuck, you should click on something in your village to increase some stat or something so you can go back and click on the enemies again
I liked the game but it didn't consume me. I felt full at around 10 hours of playtime, it is a fun and complex puzzle game. The minuses from me is that it does get repetitive and the RNG factor can be frustrating when the difficulty ramps up.

Un simpatico passatempo che può facilmente risucchiare via ore di vita a causa del suo gameplay loop veloce e immediato, perfetto in mobilità o nelle "pause" lavoro. Il sistema di gioco è quello di un semplice roguelike con una visuale dall'alto molto spartana: bisogna ripulire il dungeon fino al suo boss finale, sfruttando al meglio le poche risorse a disposizione, in un gioco di "matematica" e strategia che richiama un po' i vecchi dungeon crawler degli esordi, dove ogni colpo è ponderato e, se non si eseguono le giuste azioni in sequenza, non c'è scampo dalla sconfitta.
In superficie, invece, bisogna gestire la propria città e farla prosperare, cosicché i propri eroi diventino più forti e meglio equipaggiati per i successivi dungeon.
Cheers...per un gioco ambientato in una pagina di un libro.
This puzzle dungeons felt boring and a bit annoying. Also the game too often gives me too much text after beating single dungeon, like 3-4 popups.
Really enjoyed this rogue like, highly recommend to give it a try. It's a bit different than the usual rogue like in that you have to approach it like a puzzle of sorts.

Didn't click for me. It seems too basic for it's own good, both gameplay and presentation. It's not bad, really, but there is a lot better out there.

玩了55小时，一转眼已经到了奇妙探险队1玩腻的benchmark了，但这个游戏还行，心想可能这又是单局短的优势，很多任务感觉都能做，很多成就也感觉都能刷，忍不住就想要再打一打，也有很多方向和模式可以努力，尚还没有一个决定性的找不到突破口的时刻。感觉成就设计和游戏模式设计在这个方面是相辅相成的，合适了，多线并进了，就能骗得人左肝肝右肝肝，不行的话，那就容易弃坑了。另外成就设计上，单局达成一个行为/状态和累计攒够多少东西又是两种思路，前者容易骗人多肝一点，后者个人感觉需要有前者先开骗，顺带手做成的时候才有点成就感。个人看来攒量成就永远只是添头，但达成行为式的成就又有全过完一遍就妥妥封盘结束这个游戏的感觉，一个肉鸽游戏能“结束”，不知是好是坏。

玩了13个小时，感觉是 适当地过度硬核 了。玩到六七个小时左右，通过做挑战和查攻略，开始对初始给的这些东西的高阶用法开窍了一点，就开始胜率提高了，但又没那么提高，点快了又很容易因为自己点了一下就暴毙。一是没有操作，全靠动脑，没有稍微靠操作好反应快来减低游戏难度增加运营空间的机会，只有因为心急不谨慎点错而翻盘白给只能重来的惨相。二是一局时间短、资源量有限，不像别的游戏后面越来越爽，这个到最后没有爽，一直要精打细算到打完boss为止，然后就结束了！但甚至如果你不选择结束，选择再探索探索毛点东西，甚至还会死然后功亏一篑！！不过也可能是玩的时间比较短，还没掌握到爽的精髓。

That plus the random layouts after every reset means you need to pray for a good RNG to solve some puzzles. Depending of luck to solve a puzzle you can't retry feels cheap.

I don't like chess, but I like this game.
Weird, casual rogue-like (no, I won't use the term 'rogue-lite' you chud).
I like the Windows XP, early internet flash game style graphics. The remake is probably better in terms of quality of life and what have you, but for me, this game's aesthetic and it's respect for my time are unmatched.

1.差评。人本来就是因为出2代才把1代免费的，你爱玩不玩，没人求你入库，免费游戏还这么多逼事。
2.白嫖。官方公告里说的很清楚了，是提前买了一代的，在二代发售的时候送二代，怎么就是有人天天那么贪呢？你免费领取的一代还要人家把二代送你？
3.背刺。这个，确实，对于为了领二代而刚买一代的人来说，一代突然变免费送确实有点难绷，就当是花钱买了个超低折扣的二代呗。
4.中文。这游戏离谱的一点就在于设置里调不了语言，要在进游戏后先退出，再在主界面调中文。
5.全屏。这点是我在某软件评论区看到的，我单独拎出来骂，哥，眼睛不用可以捐掉，设置里那么大个全屏看不到？
6.闲话。各处评论区看到有各种原因差评的，我也是开眼了，因为是肉鸽游戏差评、因为王国建设要肝差评、因为游（自）戏（己）难（玩）度（不）大（来）差评、因为老游戏画质差评……我只能说，6……

パズル要素の強いダンジョン探索ゲームかな。ダンジョンで稼いで村を発展させ、探索できるエリアを拡張していく、暇つぶしにはいいかもですが値段相応かと言われると・・・うーん。

Gameplay única e muito boa, apesar dos gráficos extremamente simples esse jogo tem uma grande profundidade, você pode melhorar as coisas da cidade e explorar novas dungeons com classes, raças e outras coisas diferentes. É um jogo bem focado em estratégia e calcular cada movimento do seu personagem, por ser em turnos, você tem todo o tempo do mundo para pensar.

清理N年前库存游戏计划（3/???）
嗯基本是在上班摸鱼的时候玩的……其实这游戏挺适合摸鱼的，不过也就仅限于前期了
进入中后期以后计算量太大，再加上我真的怀疑有的图随机出来就是死局，导致血压居高不下于是玩不下去了
建议在轻松愉快的前期解锁完内容以后就可以不玩了
Если данжи сложности easy ещё можно пройти, то уже многие данжи normal непроходимы. Проблема - тупо нехватка опыта и мобов своего уровня, из-за чего персонаж качается медленнее, чем растёт уровень врагов. Враги разных уровней разбросаны по карте рандомно, как я понимаю, из-за чего приходится их искать по всей карте тратя драгоценные неоткрытые клетки, открытие которых восстанавливает хп и ману. Попробовал первый бронзовый челлендж с медузами за воина, убил всех медуз с повышенным опытом (ставя окаменение на овец). В итоге персонаж 7-го уровня, до 8-го - половина шкалы опыта, а босс медуза - 8-го. Убить её никак, хоть ты тресни. (Позже я его таки прошёл.)
Начальные меч или щит, которые можно купить за деньги на 1 данж, весьма полезны на первым уровнях героя, но совершенно бесполезны на поздних, и тупо занимают место в инвентаре, который, к слову, всего 5 ячеек + банки на хп и ману. Очков конвертации с них - кот наплакал.
Я, конечно, ещё поищу, может, что-то пропустил, но пока что всё перекликал и не нашёл постоянных бустов героев в городе, а без них они - мясо из-за упомянутой нехватки опыта.

Ладно, я, в принципе, освоил, как биться против врагов выше уровнем и получил достижение "убить врага на 3 уровня выше". Однако такой тип игры "в крысу" мне совершенно не понравился. К слову тут есть достижение "убить врага на 9 уровней выше". Как его получить, учитывая, что пока что максимальный уровень 10-й и это босс, я не представляю.
Однако же есть в этой игре некая привлекательность, которая не даёт плюнуть и удалить её нахрен. Другим же я её совершенно не рекомендую из-за упомянутой и в других отзывах проблемы с рандомной генерацией, которая делает эту головоломку непроходимой временами. Разве что вы азартный человек, любящий головоломки, а это именно головоломка в сеттинге рогалика и рпг, а отнюдь не рогалик и не рпг.

少數的迷宮探險類別遊戲，個人是覺得做得還算不錯，遊戲機制設置的合理，且有一定難度，再搭配上種族、職業、道具、信仰等相關組合，可以有很多種玩法變化。
不過此款遊戲有個蠻大問題，就是金錢賺取速度太慢了，要升級東西，要重複過多次關卡，這點很容易讓玩家疲勞而厭倦。
整體算是一款入手容易，精通難的小品類型遊戲，需要花費一定時間來變強，這點就見仁見智了（通常快餐型玩家強烈不推薦）。
