Excelente juego para pasar una tarde tranquila.

Los gráficos pixelados con estilo artístico son increíbles, sinceramente es de lo que más me gustó del juego. La atmósfera está muy bien lograda y todo se siente bastante único.

La historia puede ser un poco confusa si no estás familiarizado con algunos temas sensibles, pero en general trata sobre una persona famosa que tiene un fan obsesionado con ella. Ese fan solo quiere estar con esa persona sin importarle cómo se sienta realmente. A lo largo de la historia también se tocan temas como la baja autoestima, problemas mentales y la depresión.

En cuanto al gameplay, lo único que no me gustó tanto fueron las partes en la tarima/escenario de baile en la obra, porque se me hicieron un poco aburridas. Pero fuera de eso, todo lo demás está muy bien. Los puzzles me gustaron bastante y fueron lo que más disfruté.

Strong and unique artstyle and decent writing, but feels like it's not fully getting the most potential out of being a video game. It's an interesting experience, but does suffer under its weaker design. Most of the time, it's more an itneractive novel than a game. It's the kind of good that makes me want to talk about it with other people. It's also the kind of thing where you should definitely go in as blind as possible and pay close attention to what's happening (cause it really seems like some of the other reviewers didn't). Worth knowing: it's more of a 5 hour interactive film, but some of the gameplay elements it does have are used in interesting, intentional ways.

This game surprised me a lot, in the very best way possible. Usually, I don't play pixel games made with RPG Maker; I was never really drawn to them. Maybe the big-headed characters just make me laugh. This game was a gift, so I started it without knowing anything about it. I didn't realize that it was a horror game. When I first encountered the surreal, I would take screenshots and send them to my friends, saying, "Ha-ha, as if these pixels could scare me." Well, it turns out pixels can be scary, especially when the artist skillfully avoids using cheap tricks like jump scares. In one situation, some strange goo was chasing me, and I had to close the game because my heart was going boom-boom-boom-boom. I didn't like the rhythm game parts when I was playing. They were very difficult, and I couldn't figure out the timing. The visual style is great. The ambient music is by Akira Yamaoka. There are cool French songs. Reviews often call the story too "girly," but I don't know what people making that statement mean. The narrative is unhurried, with a lot of text. You might guess the plot twist ahead of time, but it doesn't make the game any less interesting to play.

Decarnation es una aventura de horror psicológico que destaca por su dura y claustrofóbica historia. Ambientado en el París de los años 90, sigues a Gloria, una bailarina cuya vida y salud mental se viene abajo tras una serie de eventos traumáticos.

Visualmente es una maravilla pixelada y logra representar el horror corporal y metáforas visuales perturbadoras con una facilidad y detalle asombrosa.

La banda sonora es una pieza fundamental que ayuda a crear una atmósfera tensa y muy envolvente.

La jugabilidad es bastante sencilla, pero no es el punto fuerte del juego:

Exploración: Caminas por escenarios hablando con gente para avanzar en la trama.

Minijuegos: Hay pruebas de ritmo (como bailar), puzles ambientales y momentos de esquivar enemigos.

Dificultad baja: Casi no hay castigo por fallar; el objetivo es que veas la historia sin frustrarte demasiado por los controles.

En resumen: Es ideal si te gustan los juegos estilo "novela visual" con una atmósfera de terror surrealista. A mi personalmente me ha gustado mucho.

BRUTAL!!!! TERRIBLE!!! HERMOSO!!!! no tengo palabras para describir lo que ha sido terminar este juego. Han combinado lo mejor de las peliculas de David Cronenberg, Darren Aranovfsky y el extremismo frances. Es una verdadera obra de arte y con tan solo 8 bits de graficos. Una genialidad. Me ha fascinado como con tan pocos bits de graficos crearon una atmosfera, unos personajes y una historia sumamente perturbadora e incomoda. Este tipo de juego le pasa el trapo a cualquiera que piensa que lo mas importante son los graficos. Este juego dejó patente que una buena atmosfera no necesita 4k de resolucion. Y que puede incomodar igual. Ojalá puedan salir muchos mas juegos así para mandar a la m...... a todos los juegos que piden una monstruosidad de equipo cuando no hace falta.

Bon bon bon... j'avais fait la démo en décembre, pas certain de quel genre de jeu était "Decarnation"... maintenant que je l'ai fini, je ne sais toujours pas ! N'empêche que je l'ai terminé en une journée et que j'étais plongé dedans du début à la fin.
J'ai vu venir le plot-twist dès la fin de l'acte 2 et les chansons me rendent fou, mais à part ces deux points négatifs, j'ai beaucoup aimé le jeu. Je n'ai pas souvenir de m'être senti aussi mal dans un jeu (sauf Omori, mais dans un autre genre), au point de mettre un stream avec des chatons pour retrouver un peu de douceur.
Très belle ambiance, magnifique DA. Bravo la France !

Starting off as an interesting psychological indie "horror" game that devolves into a shallow, cowardly and timid exploration of the human psyche. You are kidnapped in the first chapter of the game to a prank caller (which you could've easily deduced) and are then held in a cell for the duration of the game, befriending the "servant" which turns out to be the mastermind of the kidnapping and is just a fan of yours who went mad in love for you, hoping you'd develop Stockholm syndrome and fall in love with him. He showers you with food, clothes and jewelry but not freedom. Gloria (the protag) starts to dream more and more often, imitating the Otherworld from Silent Hill (considering Akira Yamaoka is composing this, it's no accident) but more shallow and safe. You do silly chase minigames, QTEs and play Just Dance and yoga to defeat your inner demons and overcome your struggles. Gloria is an inherently stupid protaganist, she becomes complacent with the idea of being a prisoner too quickly, not even trying to escape. She let herself become this. I know this is part of the message, but her life was never threatened, not until the very end (months into the kidnapping at that point) where she decides to overflow her bathtub and fake her own death only to choke Bob (kidnapper) and still let him live. Her ex girlfriend immediately goes back to her as well, as if life hasn't really moved on since those months as a captive. It takes such an interesting premise and decides to explore it in such a boring way. I wish it was more bold, interesting and brave in its decisions instead of making it another "hope wins all" story. Seen way too many of those and it just doesn't fit this story. It wasn't hope that made her win, it's just that she had to go through hell for months only to realize her way out was always there, just one overflow away. At the end, Bob doesn't even get jail time. He just becomes disabled from his injuries, it's pathetic. A deeply unsatisfying end that is also reinforced by having everyone party in her mind at the end like it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Madagascar. I guess I went in with the wrong expectations, but the game grew so tedious to play with seeing the same locations over and over again and having to walk so slowly through the environments with glitchy terrain. The final scene you see is Gloria's mother going through the same opening as her daughter which is just laughable. I don't know why they decided to end on this note. Just a ridiculous game that is not worth your time and money, has virtually nothing to say.

I just finished the game in one whole sitting, and TBH, this one is a little difficult to recommend. The experience overall with the story was great. The art is incredible. But I just didn't enjoy the gameplay as much. A lot of scenes felt like they dragged on, and I felt like this would have been better off as a TV mini-series. HOWEVER, if you find this game intriguing to you, I do recommend you experience this game for yourself. I don't think I've ever played anything like this before.

A tense thriller interspersed with clunky (if not mandatory) rhythm sections, semi-clunky hide-and-seek encounters, and gorgeous visuals. This feels like a game that in another life was a TV miniseries, as the main gameplay never felt right, and was at times actively getting in the way of the story being told.

I can’t exactly recommended it at its base price, but if you can wait for it to go on sale, go for it.

Honestly, it was decently dark and interesting, liked the mood and aesthetic, enjoyed most of the gameplay (except the dancing) but the ending threw me off hard. What was that very last scene supposed to add, exactly? For a game with such heavy topics and triggers i was hoping the story would be handled with more grace than that. Or maybe make it heavier by giving the player an actual chioce, but don't make it wholesome and werid at the same time. Recommend the game for the aesthetic more than for the storyline, which is a shame.

Okay, the game is problematic. Like a joke. I'm not saying I disagree with those who liked the game, that's not the point. The point is that, from a psychological view, you need to be careful when dealing with a story about captivity. I didn't find it fun; from beginning to end I kept wondering what the purpose of it all was. I was just trying to convince myself that the kidnapping was just the protagonist's imagination. But no, it was real. They could have at least shown her in a psychologist at the end, talking to someone, or Joy calling her. Everything was resolved very quickly, like, she overcame it very quickly. Only 4 months. The ending was a big joke. She meeting the kidnapper again, the party with everyone... What was the point? Like she lived happily ever after? I don't know if I'm making myself undertandable, but only by playing and analyzing it in depth you will understand my point. The art and animations are perfect, nothing to complain about. However, the gameplay is more of the same. No consequences, no important decisions. Just a pre-written narrative where you simply followed a grotesque kidnapping story without a reassuring ending. And there is a strange feeling that the director didn't care about his unrealistic interpretation of a reality that so many people take a long time to grasp, and often don't even stay to tell their own story.

It's a slow burn, but it might be worth it if you like a game all about finding your inner power, especially if you're someone who was taught from a young age to comply with certain grown-up figures or a certain type of people. I won't spoil the rest of what happened, just know you're here for a treat if you even decided to play this game like this.

Well, this was messed up. In a good way. I went in completely blind. Played the demo, thought it was thrilling, and once I continued beyond chapter one, holy s**t that escalated quickly.

Love the art style and disturbing atmosphere. I've played my fair share of horror games, and I'm probably somewhat desensitized at this point, so while actually playing I wasn't swayed much. But I kept thinking about this game before going to sleep next evening. And if I happened to wake up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall asleep immediately, I thought about this game. I beat it three days ago and I'm still thinking about it. Not many games are able to do that to me.

It's mainly a story-oriented game, although there's some easy (in general) puzzles and minigames. Not a bad price either. Highly recommend!

much like the monsters featured in the game, deincarnation is an amalgamation, mixing puzzle, battle, and rhythm properties in an atmosphere inspired by satoshi kon’s works.

it’s a rather fascinating experience, diving into gloria’s rise and fall to stardom that incorporates the real fears that women may face around men, especially when they are a celebrity. i also loved the unexpected wlw rep in this game and didn’t expect gloria to be dating a woman. the game also seems to showcase “stockholm syndrome” and the fear victims may have when it comes to escaping their abusers/captors.

the pixel art is very elaborate and detailed and it’s pleasant to look at, especially when you venture around the city of paris in the dream realm and see some of the monsters. it made me realize just how badly i missed games in this style.

though this game isn’t without its flaws. i feel like it tends to drag on a lot at times, and it feels like more time is spent in the dream world. this makes it seem like gloria is just getting distracted rather than trying to find an escape and it got on my nerves on how she had a perfect chance to but just didn’t take it. i only got more annoyed near the end where they decide to have gloria… “put a nail in a coffin” despite the fact the guy did nefarious ♥♥♥♥ to her. and even then it's just constant flip flopping whether to have him live or die. there were also times where i felt like there was unnecessary padding to make the story a little longer, while the poetry lines are eloquent and well-written, sometimes i feel as if they weren’t needed for the scenario.

despite its flaws, however, i think it’s worth a play! especially since it’s an indie game! even if you don’t enjoy the gameplay much, it’s still a fantastic pixel art piece that’s worth looking at!

Cara, que joguinho maneiro, me surpreendeu! Peguei o jogo pelas imagens e trailer, pois parecia ser meio de terror psicológico e eu adoro esse tipo de jogo, sem falar que a arte em pixel estava muito charmosa e bem feita! A história é a parte forte desse jogo. Não vou contar nada para não dar spoilers, mas achei bem amarrada. Senti que começou muitooooo interessante, mas do meio pra frente não manteve o mesmo ritmo, mas ainda assim foi uma história muito boa. Não é exatamente um jogo de terror e você não tomará sustos. Acho que está mais para um drama-suspense.

Agora vamos ao gameplay rs. Basicamenteeeeeeee.... não tem muitas coisas para se fazer. Você anda pelo cenário, as vezes dá para explorar algumas coisas e interagir com alguns objetos. As vezes tem partes que você tem que fugir e tem alguns puzzles, mas bemmmmm pouco, além de interações de apertar uma sequencia correta de botões e só. Acredito que poderiam ter explorado mais essa parte. Ter colocado mais desafios de habilidade, mais puzzles, talvez isso ajudasse a aumentar a profundidade do tema de alguma forma, dando mais tempo para se contar a história, que em certos pontos pareceu corrida. Poderia estimar que 80% é andar e 20% é gameplay onde você efetivamente faz alguma coisa. Então não espere muito desse ponto, mas não é um point and click.

Dá para zerar em umas 7-8h e paguei algo perto de R$14,00 nesse jogo na promoção. Acredito que não vale o preço cheio, mas com certeza vale a pena experimentar o jogo. Recomendo!

Good story-based adventure with minimal gameplay, the focus is following a realistic story grounded in possibly real events and common fears, mixed up with the personal nightmares and risk of mental illness arising from being caught in an horrifying and inescapable situation.

I wish there was more exploration of different facets of the characters psichology, some nightmare scenes drag a little, but it’s still an engaging experience. Recommended.

Игра представляет собой скорее психологический триллер с элементами хоррора. Мне показалось что немного недокручены все элементы, но возможно это задумка авторов. Видимо идея была создать прежде всего нарративную игру в которой другие элементы не препятствуют основной канве. Стилизация под 90-е, музыка Акиро Ямаоко, основа сюжетного противостояния со всеми очевидными твистами, простые головоломки, ритм-игры и небольшие стелс элементы- это прежде всего клей на котором строится основная идея, становления и укрепления главной героини истории, от слабости и непонимания окружающей действительности, через борьбу с мрачными обстоятельствами, внутренними демонами, до грани распада личности и, в финале, обретения опоры и необходимой для продолжения существования внутренней гармонии. Это мне очень понравилось, в меня попал этот идеальным микс идей и геймплея, заставил сопереживать героине (не всегда приятному персонажу) и пройти игру до финала. Еще хотел отметить весьма ироничный тон игры, который сглаживает её внутреннюю мрачность. Ставлю лайк и советую всем любителям психологических хорроров.

Very f*cking cool game. Went into this blind and was really surprised at how much i got wrapped into the story. The pixel art is beautiful the music is amazing and the devs really made something special here. Finished in about 8 hours and really enjoyed it. The ending drags on a little bit while they are tying up all the loose ends but overall was very well done. Very happy i gave this one a chance.

Amo el horror y el terror, vine buscando un juego tipo RPG de terror/horror pero me encontré con una joya que no tenia nada que ver.
En realidad (para mi) es una novela grafica increíble! donde se tocan temas muy sensibles y difíciles de abordar.
No te aburrís con las historia y tiene excelente forma de afrontar todos esos temas con atmosfera y momentos de tensión, además la banda sonora es de otro universo!
Juéguenlo si son pacientes, no se van a arrepentir!

Had the awful idead to play it late night.
Had to take a brack on act IV and regret it, since I had the worst nightmare I could ever remember.
What this girl have suffered... damn...
Awesome soundtrack, great screenplay, impecable pixel art and astounding approach on the sensible topics.

A very nice game. I was not so sure about playing it at first, as I am not a big fan of horror games, but there are no jump scares in this game, only an eerie atmosphere. I like the way the story is told and loved the artistic direction of the game. I only wish it had a bit more gameplay. There is a boss battle in the game that shows there was some potential. It is also not very long, so it does not overstay its welcome.

Estéticamente grotesco, pero de una belleza muy particular. Imaginativo, original, "surrealistamente", si es que existe este palabro, delicioso... nada que objetar en este sentido. Musicalmente, una maravilla. De hecho, hay un tema en concreto que me gustó especialmente. Narrativamente, parte de una idea muy interesante, toca temas curiosos y tiene ideas muy chulas, pero se pierde por momentos y se hace innecesariamente largo, metiendo escenas que sobran por completo y situaciones forzadas en según qué momentos. Y jugablemente... por dios, no sé en qué estaban pensando. No tengo nada, ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA en contra de los juegos narrativos con mecánicas sencillas e interactividad justita. De hecho, soy un fiel defensor de todo tipo de juegos, pues creo que el medio debe expandirse en todas las direcciones posibles. Ya cada cual que guste o disfrute de lo que le dé la gana. Ahora bien, el problema no es que sea justito jugablemente, o que sus mecánicas no sean lo suficientemente estimulantes, sino que sencillamente parece olvidarse de que está queriendo contar una historia, que es su fuerte, y se "auto-impone" crear una serie de dinámicas jugables que en muchos casos resultan tediosas, aburridas, innecesariamente largas, confusas en algún caso... e incluso molestas en otros.

Es un juego al que si le hubiesen quitado unas cuantas horas, sí... HORAS, de relleno, y hubiesen focalizado un poco más los tiros en sus fuertes (narrativa y atmósfera sonora y visual), podría haber sido una verdadera joyita. En cambio, lo que he jugado... me ha supuesto una de las mayores decepciones de los últimos años.

No es un juego terrible. Tiene puntos muy interesantes y puede que a más de uno atrape por su extraña forma de enfocar su historia. Ahora bien, creo que está muy mal balanceado y resulta algo pobre y/o mediocre en determinados aspectos, a mi modo de ver, muy importantes.

Dicho esto, juzguen por ustedes mismos.

An heutigem Abend und nach Abschluss der Story von Decarnation, sind wir in regelmässiger psychologischer Behandlung und stehen unter ständigen Wahnvorstellungen. Träume von vermummten Monstern begleiten unsere nächtlichen Eskapaden. Bob, der Schmierfink, hat uns für immer innerlich gebrochen und uns so zu lieben wie wir sind. Zurückgeblieben sind leere Hülle auf den Stühlen und Angstzustände in der Hirnrinde.

Hoffentlich geht es Gloria (und natürlich auch dem kreativen Verfasser der Geschichte) besser und sonst gute Besserung unsererseits an sie.

Very detailed, both in artwork and plot. The plot itself wasn't exactly to my taste, but it WAS well done. The soundtrack was the best part! I did find some of the QTE games to be overused. I liked the the first time, but by the 5th time, I just wanted the mini-game to be over.

Fun pixel adventure - I say 'adventure' because the creepy, body horror angle is very understated, compared to the advertisement materials; I sort of expected the game to lean a lot more into it. Instead we get a classic pixel art exploration game with some (very simple) rhythm challenges and puzzles.

The visual aspect is top notch, the pixel art is well animated and the backgrounds are stunning; same for the music, where surprisingly Yamaoka's signature drones play second fiddle to some excellent 80s pop-inspired tunes.

As mentioned, gameplay is ok, maybe a bit too linear and 'guided' - sometimes it feels like we don't control the character more often than we do. The ending is a bit predictable and sappy, but that's part of the game (pun intended).

this is a really good game. gameplay is fun. it is not an action game but the puzzles and quick time events are engaging. graphics and sound are very immersive. i bonded with the main character Gloria. it reminded me of the point-and-click games i used to play a lot from the 90s. havent played a game in this genre in a while, so this was a warm welcome.

I ended up returning this. The game didn't work properly. In the museum, I'd try to walk up the stairs to the statue, but I couldn't until I restarted. In another area, I'd walk through a door and the game would freeze. And in another, I'd get chased by a monster, only for the game to freeze again. The mini games are really minimal - mostly rhythm. While the story should've been horrifying, the presentation just didn't work.

Decarnation — это французское авторское кино в обёртке пиксель-арта. У игры бесячий геймплей (даже по меркам симулятора пешехода), невнятный нарратив, великолепный продакшн и (!) работающий (!!) терапевтический эффект.

Почему у нас, миллениалов, такое лютое желание возводить в абсолют и демонстрировать часами внутренние переживания? Достоевский, например, передразнивал Тургенева в своих «Бесах»: корабль тонет, а он два часа описывает свою реакцию, выражение ужаса своём на лице. Вот и здесь так всё и начинается: Глория одержима своими переживаниями, она обcасывает весь свой (на самом деле незамысловатый) клубок отношений и суждений, о себе и только о себе. Все либо имеют отношение к Глории, либо каким-то образом нарушают её ожидания от мира вокруг.

Первый акт долгий, растянутый филлерами-механиками. Жизнь Глории скучная, даже по меркам артистки кабаре и натурщицы. Она просто женщина. Желание быть незаурядным - самая заурядная из всех вещей. Реально, смотреть со стороны на этот быт не сильно интригует. Ладно, терпим. Смысл появляется только через 40 минут, во втором акте...

...

Второй акт правда отрезвляет. За счёт обилия сюрреализма в декорациях незамысловатый процесс начинает выглядеть сложнее, но это только декорации. На деле же метафоры всё ещё не многогранные — у кого media literacy хотя бы на уровне сериалов по подписке, те поймут, в чём гештальты Глории, ещё по экспозиции. У того же Тони Сопрано было поглубже, но мы продолжаем держать в голове: Глория - женщина простая. Ей, как и мне, смысла выпускать мемуары мало - слишком много внутри и не так уж богато снаружи.

Глория бедна на жизнь. У неё маленький круг общения, домом она не занимается вообще, а из активностей мы видим только бассейн (глоток воздуха) и само кабаре (абсолютно невыразительное). Собственно, до кошмара жизни и нет, но об этом чуть ниже.

Основной конфликт истории не таит в себе серьёзных сюжетных поворотов - поверьте, вы достаточно грамотны, чтобы представить, чем всё закончится. Вы даже будете разочарованы. Но, возвращаясь к тому, с чего мы начали, - Decarnation, верхнеуровнево - это theater kid-игра, игра-сцена, типичное французское rавно. Забегая вперёд, лучшее, что вы можете из неё вытащить, - рефлексию.

Конечно, гг — e6y6y уставшее, и мужики её конкретно заe6али. Для неё букет цветов — это клише, а кабаре существует как будто бы отдельно от зрителя. Глория немножко блажная в этом плане, но её логика объяснима. «Так много плоти, чтобы ухватить», — говорит один из мобов подсознания. И где-то рядом фраза: «Пожалуйста, дай мне шанс». Две фразы, которые по смыслу стоят так близко друг к другу. «Всех баб не перетраxать» плюс унизительное «можно я тебя попытаюсь, писю потрогаю». Похоть и мизери — неразлучная пара, и мы, мужики, убиваем двух зайцев.

Глория в диссонансе. Её травмирует харассмент без её разрешения, тогда как кабаре — это то, что она хочет делать сама. Разница тонкая, но есть. [spoiler]Джой в её снах принижает это и обобщает — тебе должно быть всё равно, ты ж шлюxа, по сути-то.[/spoiler] Ну да. На самом деле хороший вoук-посыл. А потом появляется Боб.

Боб — мудaк. В целом этих букв на него могло бы хватить. Но нет, важное дополнение — Боб это триггер к поиску Декарнации. И это самое важное в игре.

Пазл Глории — это [spoiler]оторванные части её личности: две светлые (Гло-Гло и Седовласая) и три тёмные (Уродка, Принцесса и Голова-в-Клетке). Для побега от Боба Глория должна найти волю через интуицию, которая годами заткнута в темноте.[/spoiler] Глория до Боба ходит по кругу и видит, как жизнь затухает: возлюбленная уходит, кабаре закрывается, мать уже уселась на голову и отказывается слезать.

В тяжёлую минуту мы должны собрать себя целиком. Вот, на нас напали, сделали подлость. А мы, rHиды такие, говорим им спасибо. Снова и снова мы предаём себя, не принимая свою «тёмную сторону». А на деле тёмной стороны нет — ты не Луна, чтобы всю жизнь быть ко всем только лицом. Глория под давлением Боба вспоминает, кто она, — к чему она тяготеет и какие желания в своей жизни не озвучила.

Части личности героини в игре раскрыты наглядно и глубоко, но не за счёт описательной части, а во многом благодаря затянутости геймплея. Вообще терапевтический эффект Decarnation достигается во многом из-за самоповторов — навязчивых, тупых, но рабочих. Всё как на приёме у специалиста. Проработка травмы.

Развитие происходит долго и нелинейно — шаг вперёд, две трети шага наaaд. Героиня сомневается в выбранном пути, спрашивает себя: «Могло ли быть по-другому, если бы я не была такой упёртой?» Конечно могло — могло бы быть ещё хуже.

В какой-то момент мы понимаем, что всё гораздо сложнее, нежели чем отрицание Глории собственной женственности из-за неконтактной матери. Она, уже взрослая Гло-Гло, — умный и добрый человек, и оттого ей трудно. Тяжело говорить «нет», когда тебе так мало в жизни говорили «да», не правда ли?

«You can't skip any steps even if the path is spiral» — этот вывод невыносим, особенно когда ты как дурачoк уже шестой акт ходишь по локации пиксель на пиксель, по стеночке (буквально!) и ищешь куда нажать. Да, мы уже тут были. Нет, мы не можем поступить по-умному. Всё сначала: прожить потерю, найти себя. Это и есть Декарнация.

В Декарнации Глория находит свою интуицию. Этот свет, ядро, проникающее через солнечное сплетение, приходит раньше, чем прощение самой себя. Именно так и должно быть. И я это физически прочувствовал. Получилось. Ура.

...

Как и в случае с Phantom Spark, Decarnation — это добротный вoук. Я долго держал игру в вишлисте, ожидая по скриншотам нечто вроде Sanitarium. Да, поверхностно — общая канва есть, но на деле творение QuentDB действительно работает исцеляюще. А это дороже геймплея. Так что простим xyйню, но не забудем и даже ещё раз напомним — мы всё ещё во французском арт-хаусе.

[spoiler]Вот в сцене после титров мать престарелая (почти) трахается со скульптором, заценив скульптуру своей голой дочери, а мы обязаны оттанцевать на дискотеке со всеми гротескными мясными куклами - "тёмными" частями личности.[/spoiler] Такой тут хэппи энд.

Справедливости ради, я бы потанцевал с самим собой. I am a party inside of my head, как говорится. Хотя уже что-то не хочется мне шизить...

P.S. Очень важно, что [spoiler]Глория получила от мамы машину и укатила в закат[/spoiler]. Я вообще считаю, что после травмы каждый должен себе купить кабриолет или хотя бы весёлый мини. Джек Бойд тому пример.

[h2]La idea, la atmósfera, el diseño artístico, la música, la historia, el simbolísmo... todas las piezas están absolutamente cuidadas con mimo en este juego. Todas excepto una: [b]la jugabilidad[/b].[/h2]
Esto no es un juego, ni siquiera es una novela visual. Lo único que he hecho es leer y resolver algunos puzles bastante sencillos que se sienten hasta forzados, absolutamente nada mas. Y si, el resto es magnifico, pero sencillamente el medio no es el adecuado: si lo que quieres es sencillamente contar una historia en la que haya un espectador tienes varias opciones... ninguna de ellas es un videojuego.
En este producto el jugador sobra, hubiese sido una buena novela, un genial comic, una buena serie, una genial película. Pero es un mal juego porque no tiene el aspecto que en mi humilde juicio hace a un juego disfrutable: el aspecto jugable. Toda la interacción del juego se resume en pulsar las flechas de movimiento y darle al espacio para continuar diálogos en los que ni siquiera intervengo. Mi impacto sobre la historia o el desarrollo es nulo, no existe posibilidad de error porque no hay consecuencias cuando los tienes.
Es como ver una película en la que tienes que pulsar constantemente el [i]play[/i].

Lamentablemente, y aunque en el resto de apartados, como digo, es excepcional, no puedo recomendarlo, al menos no es para mi.

Не верьте скринам, это не хоррор, а лайтовый (в том плане, что никакой особой жести не происходит) психологический... почти-что-триллер.
Честно говоря, не понял [spoiler]откуда у героини такие беды с башкой. Единственное, что упоминается из плохого в детстве — мама её не забрала из кино, когда Глория в 9 лет пробралась на сеанс «Ребёнка Розмари». Думал, мб, насилию жуткому подвергалась раньше, так нет, игра про это ничего не говорит.[/spoiler]
Сперва игра вообще казалась чем-то типа визуальной новеллы в оболочке рпг-мейкера: из управления у нас только ходьба и одна кнопка для действий. Разговоров и «фильмовой» атмосферы оч много. Но нет, иногда появляются задачки, и они не очень сложные, но мне показались интересными. В том числе потому, что правил решения никто не объясняет, сиди и думай сам.
Сюжет... я такое не люблю, но прошёл в целом не без удовольствия. Перепроходить не буду 100%, но на один раз — неплохо.
Играл с русским переводом с Zone of Games, он хороший. Только в паре мест встречались непереведённые реплики (речь не о целых диалогах, а о единичных сообщениях), вообще не критично.
Рекомендовать не буду, но и минус поставить не могу.

忘了为什么买这个游戏了，没看介绍光看了商店页面的图片以为是都市怪谈类型的恐怖游戏（
游戏流程比较短，但是故事短小精悍，很喜欢游戏里现实与梦境交织的情节，梦真是好东西，梦见各种各样的人或事物，或许会让人逐渐接纳自我，亦或是下定决心向过去的自己告别。
顺便，游戏的音乐真的好好听！！！

The premise was solid, with interesting writing, and the story was heading down some very dark paths, which was exactly what kept me going. Then it all gets lost in cheap moralizing and the game ends up somewhere completely different from what it promised. Not recommended, both because if you are looking for a horror experience that is psychologically disturbing (the themes are there, but everything becomes bland) this will not satisfy you, and above all because I wanted an actual game, not a bunch of silly mini-games.

This was a truly captivating journey!
Most fascinating I found the artistic direction, the map designs are immaculate and impressively rich in detail, considering the pixelated RPG-style. Additionally paired with the convoluted plot and immersive narration, the entire game feels very artistic in nature, while reflecting a multitude of real issues in a sinister and metaphorical way. The characters are interesting and well-written, particularly the introspective of the protagonist with its outstanding presentation is great. Another charm is the soundtrack with a wide range of music to enhance the various ambiences.

Gameplay-wise the exploration, mild puzzles and minigames were enjoyable to me, although some of the latter felt a bit tedious at times. The general pacing felt comfortable, but the puzzle sections as a whole felt a bit short compared to the elaborate cutscenes / conversations, which is an aspect that I believe could've used some more balance.
Altogether this was an entertaining and impressionate experience! While the gameplay and story premise lean towards being simplistic, the plot with its stunning creative portrayal make it memorable.

Plongez dans les méandres de la psyché d'une jeune femme dans les années 90 ,en proie aux doutes et aux revirements dans sa vie, et qui va devoir se retrouver pour ce sortir d'une situation désespérante.
Un "revenge game" pleins de rétrospection en pleins Paris.

Vous allez traverser des tableaux d'une dérangeante beauté ,un des plus du jeux, et croiser des monstres à l'allure repoussante. Le tout bercé par une BO en français qui se laisse écouter , si on aime la pop de la fin des années 80.
Le petit hic serait que ,misant énormément sur l'esthétique et l'histoire, les développeurs ont dû faire des boucles de gameplay assez simpliste mais ,quand même, assez différentes : QTE , "Smash-the-button" et autres "hide-and-seek" seront de sortie. Tout le monde n'aimera pas non plus l'idée d'être un peu devant un film avec des phases de jeu un peu courte.

Mais les personnages sont attachants et l'histoire assez intéressante pour, à mes yeux, ne pas s'attacher à ce genre de détail.

Une agréable surprise que je recommande chaudement !

This game was just everything, it was distressing, it was touchng, it was upsetting, it was infuriating, it was wonderful. Decarnation is a very powerful raw story about a woman desperately trying to escape an horrible situation a story about abuse that doesn't hold back in feeling as raw and realistic as possible a deep character dive into the psyche of their protagonist and what they're going through with this traumatic experience. The presentation is sublime and the music choices are just fun and sweet, absolutely give it a try if you want some real good psychological horror
