Может я казуал или что, но игра что-то слишком сложная. Еда портиться быстро. Куча навыков, поэтому просто так не получиться сменить деятельность персонажа, потому что сюрприз, у него есть всего 2-3 навыка нормально прокачанных(и то, где-то на 50-60 из 100 очков), так что сомнительно. У костра они отдыхают медленно, а на лежанке места ограничены и там тоже они бывает по 3-4 дня спят(это как же они так уработались?) и все равно еще слегка уставшие. Еда тот еще рандом - если фортуна не на твоей стороне, то персонажи умрут с голода, будь ты хоть какой стратег. Мне было интересно и нравилось... первые 2 игры. На поиски по острову ты можешь отправить всего двух персонажей(точнее можно всех, но это не будет иметь смысла, ведь они из-за маленькой скрытности будут получать всегда. Да даже если шанс на удачу более 60%, то это тебе тоже не всегда поможет).
К функционалу игры вопросов нет, красивая графика и не замечал фризов и лагов, но вот сам игровой процесс... ну, вы поняли.

Персонажи абсолютно не интересные, вы сходу поймёте кого с кем в пару ставить. Да и во время обучения, сразу можно определиться, надо оно вам или нет, потому что персонажи быстро устают, легко впадают в депрессию, крафтят очень долго, воду они тут из фруктиков добывают, а еда портится за одну ночь. Ах да, они же ещё между собой ругаются по всякой ерунде высосанной из пальца. Просто бред, что на острове аж целых 8 человек и они все максимально бесполезные, да вы тут за 1 день можете 8 хибар настроить, но нет, будем два дня делать долбанные лежанки из говна и палок. Даже стараться ради них нет никакой мотивации.

Ok, granted. The UI is less enigmatic than that of Dead in Antares and that of Dead in Vinland. And yet, do I have to purchase an expansion, so the tutorial tells me which characters to move? I mean, since talking and - I kid you not - drinking coffee is evidently more important than crafting or scavenging. Oh, and did I mention, that I got eaten by a monster - during the tutorial? So, tell me just for kicks and grins, if I would be bored enough to click on Next a second time, do we then get to the part where I vote out a survivor?

The default setting for the game is normal, which is almost like a huge RNG machine.

It sets the perks your character's start with randomly. Some of these on normal difficulty are instant restart. (Depdressed, bulemy, hidden illness(!!!), and a few such.)

You need to gather resources and build up your working stations, and produce food. There are gatherers who produce fruits which can be eatern or used to get juice (water). Each day everyone requires one unit of water.
1 fruit produces 3-5 % juice. Food is similar at the start you can obtain a few from here and there, but later on you should be producing it yourself. The fruits and the fish can sustain you, if you keep it tight and focused and you have a lucky character combo. (Mine was Positive Thinking for Alice, meaning she and Bob fish together and they have a huge cooperation bonus or whatever it is called, I had to focuse Alice on fishing therefore. Giving her items and all the stuff to improve her fast. Meanwhile i used the other fishing guy too. Together with Alice. Her positive thinking was able to make it easier to reduce here depression.)
Funnily enough if you fish with a character, they gets depressed. If you hunt they get injured. (Injury is not easy to treat, likely needs a facility i have yet to research:P)
All facilities get damaged a few percent each day, and if you use them they sustain more damage.
So i run a fishing station, the resting place, the fruit gatherer, and a regular gatherer(wood, rope, stone and some herbs). In order to get the best chance for fishing i need to fish with my best duo Alice and Bob while the station is at its best. (on 100%). Then currently i get a range telling me what my catch might be. Between 1 and 11. (Worked up my way from 0-6:P) Each new day the fishing station even if unused takes damage. If my two folks use it even more. So i assign them in the morning, repair the station, they fish, then for the afternoon the station is already down to 92-3%. I fish again. (Same for all facilities.) So this means that currently every second day i need to get enough ropes to fix my facilities, enough wood to cook all the fish, as i could not even build the cooking pot yet:) And i am past day fifty something. The resource drain due to the "damage" to stations is this huge. This would still be manageable, however there is a hidden major bug with the stations that produce something.

You can see the forum littered with posts about how impossible it is on normal, and how only savescumming seems to work. Actually it is half true and half not.

There is a huge issue with the game, where certain stations tend to "LOCK" a value for their production.
So for instance i told you that my best pair is fishing for 1-11 fish when the station is unharmed and on 100%.
Except, sometimes the game does not want to refresh this number, and use an older one. In my case this was the 0-8. Now why does this matter? Firstly because between 1-11 range you have 50% chance to at least even catch something. And to catch enough fish that you cook can feed more than half of your folks, while the rest will eat fruit. (Unless the fish roasting also effs you up as it gives you 15% chance for bad food 15% for good food and 70% normal food.) In order to circumvent this "LOCK VALUE AT STATION" bug you need to save the game. Quit and then start it again and load back. Now the correct value is displayed. This locking issue seem to happen every X number of days, my guess is around 10-15 days. It is why save scummers were able to complete the game. And this bug actually hints upon a memory leak.

So there you go folks. Figured out why this game is so impossible on normal. :)
As i doubt it will be fixed, only buy if you are willing to face this bug.
The bug seems to occur regularly around every 4-5 days (At least past day 50). You can notice it by tracking your production numbers, if they are suddenly too low it is likely the case. (Previous day you had 8-14 wood production now you have 6-12.) There are some events that can reduce the production numbers, but as you likely deal with them, it will be occuring due to the bug. So in order to be able to play the game properly, you will need to quit the game at around every 5 days and then start again and load your game to set the numbers back.

edit: Also you can break the tutorial, as in it become impossible to finish it if you only get one coffe from the airplane at day one and use it earlir then the game tells you. There is no fork for this.
So in this case you either restart or alt+f4, and hope it saved your game if you had good characters.
(Just a fun bug i also found but easily avoidable. Each time you have to play the tutorial when you start.)

I first played Dead in Vinland and later discovered Dead in Bermuda. It’s easy to see that Bermuda was the predecessor to Vinland, so the gameplay mechanics were already familiar to me.

I bought the game for about 6 PLN / 1.5 EUR, and at that price, especially considering the game is already a few years old, it’s still absolutely worth playing. The survival mechanics keep it engaging even today 🙂

An island survival resource management game with a mixture of depressing and lighthearted vibes, that doesn't overstay its welcome.

You control 8 survivors of a plane crash on a (seemingly) uninhabited tropical island. Your goal is to make them survive daily life on the island and eventually find their way home.

[h1]The good:[/h1]
➕ I found the general gameplay enjoyable. It was sometimes quite the balancing act to fit the needs of the group against the time pressure and the individual skills of the people, especially in the first half of the game.
➕ I played on easy mode, and the difficulty and pacing felt good. Just about the time the game gets monotonous with every challenge overcome, the story wraps up. I finished my playthrough in a leisurely 56 days. (Ending spoilers: [spoiler]And extra praise for those end credits illustrations wrapping up the story in an unexpected way! The rescue helicopter crashing was funny, but the implication in those illustrations gave me the creeps, in a good way 👌[/spoiler])
➕ I quite liked the cartoony, hand-drawn art. It helps to offset the depressing mood somewhat.
➕ The evening conversations are very good at rounding out the characters' personalities. The dialogues are semi-random, but I haven't seen any repeating ones.
➕ The music also works well for building the atmosphere, though the camp one got a bit too monotonous, since we spend 99% of our time there.

[h1]The bad:[/h1]
➖ Some parts of the UI could have been a bit more polished. E.g. seeing workstations' relevant stocks without assigning a person there, or being able to use items from the inventory screen.
➖ I'm honestly not sure what was up with all those [spoiler]tarot scenes[/spoiler] and what was their point to the story.
➖ I know it's supposed to be a completionist "challenge", but the 100-days achievement is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. By at most day 50 there is no hardship left in the game, so the remaining 50 days is just grinding through the same daily activities over and over again 😑 It's more a challenge of boredom than anything else.

I quite recommend it for fans of the genre! I'm looking forward to playing the studio's other games :)

To put it simply, it's just too boring:
+ the mystery of the island is interesting

- the games normal difficulty requires you to have guide level experience to survive
- the gameplay loop consist of putting characters in circles and watching animations play
- can't skip the end of turn animations, you can only speed them up negligibly
- no combat
- everything is a dice roll, this game can be very frustrating
- all personal traits and stats are almost completely randomized ( this combined with the rest of the randomness creates a soft rng hell, soft because it doesn't matter anyway... what's the point?)

dead in bermuda is my first 'does not recommend' game.

i am really upset about it because i thought i would like this one. it is a survival management game about a plane crash with some interesting mechanics and nice arty although the soundtrack is not to my taste.

why i do not recommend: to complete 100% of the game, i needed to lock-in and rush every single achievement that are not even satisfactory to get. most of them are actually unnecessarily hard and everything got boring because of that. i was just clicking, clicking and clicking, sending prayers to the Lord for it to end already. the relationship mechanic are very ? and does not work at all and sometimes you feel more like an annoyed spectator than a player.
the storyline starts good but after a while gets forced and nonsense; the jungle, the characters' backstory. it was messy and bad written because the effort to make a 'different game'.

but you need to be good at the basics to be as good at innovations.

Игра была бы не плоха, если бы не душные достижения, которые не понятно как получать. Выполнила все, кроме одного, перепроходила игру 3 раза для одного этого достижения. На третье начали появляться нужные диалоги, но потом они просто закончились и никто больше ничего не говорил, хотя отношения уже у Юлии и Боба были -100 и он уже рассказывал частично Юрию о прошлом

An older but still enjoyable resource management survival game, may require a few save-point reloads on mission-critical rolls where failure is disastrous, but not to the point of save scum, and an overall experience that shouldn't be excessively difficult for players with patience.
The middle portion can feel extremely grindy as you spend day after day just trying to save that 2 or 3 extra wood and rope per day for an upgrade that costs 30 of each, or having to rest your castaways instead of exploring and gathering resources, but that's pretty much baked into the loaf for these type of survival games, either you find that sort of thing fun and challenging, or you don't.
As of this writing, the game is on sale for $1.49 and an easy buy, offering much more than your money's worth if you find it entertaining, and an insignificant loss if not. But if you're still worried, the free demo will convince you one way or the other whether or not this is your kind of game.

ПОЧЕМУ-ТО УКАЗАНО, ЧТО ИГРА ПОЛУЧЕНА БЕСПЛАТНО, НО ЭТО НЕ ТАК! ВТФ

Играбельно, но сложно. Персонажи у меня выживали чуть ли не вплотную к смерти от голода, изнеможения или лезли в петлю. Ресурсы находить очень сложно, хоть посылаешь на сборы/изготовление/разведку самых подходящих героев, но это всё равно не гарантия того, что 100% найдется что-то полезное. Лично мне скучновато было, больше стрессанула от геймплея, чем получила удовольствие. Персонажи не цепляют вообще никак. Очень расстроилась, что нельзя получить карточки из игры благодаря прохождению, был бы хоть больший смысл париться над этим творением. Я уже играла в подобное от этих разрабов много лет назад, сейчас мне зашло не так, как раньше. Возможно, стоит освежить память и попробовать поиграть в их другой проект.

A great little game that will give you a few hours of fun. Once you've figured it out it's pretty easy and doesn't provide that much of a payoff for winning it, nor is there much replay value, but if it's on the store for $5-10 it's totally worth it I reckon.

I haven’t been able to put this game down, yet can’t get past day 30-35. My clients are starting to wonder where I’ve gone. I can never save enough resources to craft the cooking pot, which is supposed to make survival much easier. There are some helpul guides out there, but no straightforward path — which I guess makes things more interesting. I’d really like to make more progress and discover more of the island and story, but I can’t bring myself to try easy mode. Это идеальный симулятор HR-менеджера, который пытается наладить работу в корпорации, пока она медленно разваливается от голода.

Il aurait pu être sympa avec son style mini-jeu de survie simple mais fun, mais malheureusement il est déséquilibré et frustrant :
- Les 20/30 premiers tours ne donnent aucune liberté de choix réelle, car chaque action et chaque ordre doit être connu par coeur et à l'avance pour optimiser, sinon c'est l'échec assuré.
- Puis une fois passé ce cap, on rentre dans une routine très redondante.

On a donc l'impression que la difficulté initiale sert à cacher le manque de variété de la suite. Les dialogues et l'exploration sont sympas mais sans plus, en tout cas pas suffisamment pour compenser cette répétitivité.

Et si vous insistez car vous aimez finir les jeux, sachez que les actions de certains PNJ semblent en partie aléatoires, empêchant l'obtention de certains succès.

Очень интересная игра в которой действительно хочется изучать персонажей и за развитием которых следишь неотрывно. Есть сюжет, к сожалению пока не пройденный, так как дольше 20 дней пока никто е продержался, но - самое важное - хочешь пробовать снова и снова.

выживал 11 дней . закончилась вода и игра закончилась. хотя в интернете лежали фрукты для ее восполнения, но они появились только перед "просиделкой у костра" во время которой нельзя восполнить воду, подкинуть в костер дров, починить постройки или подлечить персонажей.

короче все сдохли от того что решили поболтать и пожрать вместо того что бы восполнить запасы воды

Dead in Bermuda ist ein schweres aber gutes Spiel!

Ich habe es in bis jetzt fast 9 Stunden nicht einmal geschafft bis zum Ende zu überleben und von der Insel zu fliehen, aber das ist für mich persönlich nicht demotivierend sondern dann will ich es umso mehr schaffen. Das Spiel hat sehr viel spieltiefe und ein winziger Fehler kann schon zum Tod von einigen der Gestrandeten führen.

Ich habe das Spiel mir mal geholt als es 100% rabattiert war.

Nie wiem co jest ze mną nie tak, że gdy tylko słyszę “survival”, moje oczy zaczynają się świecić, a na myśl błyskawicznie przychodzi co najmniej kilkanaście aktywności, które z przyjemnością wykonałbym na wszelkiego rodzaju bezludnych wyspach, porzuconych stacjach kosmicznych bądź w postapokaliptycznych schronach. W tym wypadku wylosowała się akurat tematyka rozbitków, palm oraz dzikich zwierząt, próbujących dobrać się do naszych nieszczęśników przy każdej możliwej okazji, co jestem gotów wziąć z pocałowaniem ręki, bo choć podobnych produkcji powstało dotychczas naprawdę bardzo wiele, nadal odnoszę nieodparte wrażenie, że można w tej materii zdziałać naprawdę dużo, wypuszczając na rynek coś, co odkryje przetrwanie na nowo. Czy to właśnie Dead in Bermuda ma szansę stać się pionierem?

Nie, zdecydowanie nie. Gra ta jest bowiem dobrym przykładem tego, jak błędnie można spocząć na laurach, chcąc przedwcześnie wydawać i spieniężać dany produkt, zamiast szlifować go do zadowalającego wszystkich poziomu. Bo “papiery na grę” niczym junior na zapleczu Ekstraklasy zdecydowanie ma - osiem postaci, każda z odmiennymi umiejętnościami podzielonymi aż na szesnaście statystyk, własną historią, relacjami, preferencjami… Samo rozplanowanie mechanik odpowiedzialnych za różne interakcje oraz rozwój musiało być niezwykle wymagające, nie mówiąc już o dobudowaniu do tego całej warstwy strategicznej, historii, gameplayu czy rozwoju osady. W czym więc dopatruję się problemu?

Mam wrażenie, że wszystko zostało tu zrobione w pośpiechu, a każdy zaimplementowany pomysł zostawał w swojej pierwotnej, testowej wersji, niezależnie od rezultatów. Jakim cudem ludzie żyjący w dżungli mają problem ze zdobywaniem opału? Z jakiego powodu bohaterowie muszą czasem spać półtora dnia, żeby wypocząć, nie regenerując się nocą? Czemu zamiast wyboru odkrywanych zabudowań, musimy najpierw sadzić owoce czy wędzić mięso, mając na pokładzie medyka i zatrutych rozbitków? Dlaczego ekipa może siedzieć przy ogniu i gawędzić, ale już podsmażenie na nim mięsa bądź ryb wymaga zużywania cennego płomienia, powodując marnowanie surowców?

Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, ja przyjmuję do wiadomości, że to jest gra i trzeba było jakoś skomplikować cały proces. Ale potrafię wyobrazić sobie dziesiątki, jeżeli nie setki bardziej kreatywnych rozwiązań obecnych tu problemów i utrapień, które nie dość, że mogłyby wprowadzić nową jakość w samą rozgrywkę, to jeszcze trzymałyby się logiki. Tymczasem przyjdzie nam łowić ryby, które przez noc się psują, trzymać w ekwipunku leki, których chirurg (!) nie potrafi użyć bez wynalezienia namiotu albo losowo tracić punkty relacji między trzema osobami, które wysłaliśmy do spania. Nie chodzi zresztą jedynie o sferę racjonalnych zachowań, ale również kwestie kalkulacji; jakość snu dyktowana jest przez poziom wskaźnika “constitution”, jednego z wielu, który obniża się przez zmęczenie. Co więc się dzieje, gdy przypiszemy kogoś styranego o niskim poziomie tej statystyki do łóżka? Zgadza się, dostaniemy postać zbyt zmęczoną, żeby się porządnie wyspać. Kurtyna.

Nie pomaga temu wszystkiemu sposób, w jaki rozwiązano samo wykorzystywanie posiadanych dóbr. Drewno jest tu niemalże bezcenne, jednak jego pozyskiwanie wymaga przypisania osiłka do danego punktu i łupania z początku po cztery, może sześć bel na turę. A co z nim robimy? Podsycamy ogień, naprawiamy zabudowania, stawiamy nowe… W momencie gdy trzeba dbać o tyle rzeczy, od jedzenia, przez wodę, aż po majsterkowanie czy odkrywanie nowych rzeczy, zbieranie materiałów robi się po prostu męczące. Nie “uciążliwe”, nie “monotonne”... męczące. Po pewnym czasie odechciewa się nawet patrzeć na podsumowania, gdzie dany osobnik produkuje jakieś ochłapy, męcząc się przy tym jakby zdobył górę Rushmore, przy okazji popadając w depresję.

Nie jest to też najwygodniejszy w obsłudze port, ewidentnie od pierwszych linijek kodu zaplanowany z myślą o urządzeniach mobilnych. Postacie trzeba ręcznie przesuwać z lewej strony obozu do prawej, poruszanie się po inwentarzu bądź zakładkach dotyczących zdolności potrafi być bardzo nieintuicyjne i niepraktyczne, a większość opisów czy rozstrzygnięć ograniczona jest do minimum, przez co czasem nie wiemy nawet do końca na co się decydujemy albo na jaki efekt należy się w ogóle nastawiać w przypadku obranej ścieżki dialogowej bądź decyzyjnej.

Tutaj mógłbym tę recenzję tak naprawdę zakończyć, stawiając krzyżyk, wyzywając autorów od głąbów albo po prostu odradzając produkt. Tylko że wiecie co? Licznik godzin nie kłamie i jak bardzo bym nie cierpiał większości rozwiązań, wściekał się na losowość i pewne niedoróbki, perspektywa rywalizacji z systemem wciągnęła mnie do tego stopnia, że powtarzałem zapis za zapisem, wyciągałem wnioski i walczyłem tak długo, aż w końcu ukończyłem grę, ocalając wszystkich. Jak tego dokonałem? Nie jest to powód do dumy i pewnie niektórzy nazwą to zwykłym oszustwem, ale gdy już nauczycie się co działa a co nie, najlepszą bronią okazuje się sprawne wykorzystanie kombinacji Alt + F4, by zmaksymalizować swoje szanse przetrwania i nie pozwolić losowi przekreślić danego podejścia.

To, że tytuł jest wymagający, jest jego niewątpliwą zaletą i z tym nawet nie warto za bardzo dyskutować. Podoba mi się, że bardzo dużo rzeczy może pójść nie tak, a RNG danego dnia może pobłogosławić nas jedną rybą zamiast możliwych siedmiu, co na dobrą sprawę zagłodzi całą szajkę. Ale zapewne wielu potencjalnych odbiorców odbije się od tego ze względu na to, że nie znajdą tu żadnego wsparcia ze strony aplikacji, niczego, co mówiłoby “tak, to jest dobre rozwiązanie” lub “nie, tak nie należy robić”, przez co zamiast uczyć się mikrozarządzania, denerwujemy się na nowe, piętrzące się problemy, wynikające z zależności, o których nawet nie mamy pojęcia.

Do tego oprawa wizualna (poza niepotrzebnie długimi wynikami na koniec tury oraz dnia) jest naprawdę niezwykle klimatyczna, a na różne, kreatywne miejsca, persony bądź artefakty patrzy się z autentycznym zainteresowaniem. Bardzo dobrze ujęto nastrój beznadziei, wymieszanej z regularnymi załamaniami nerwowymi, co podkręca wiarygodność scen rozgrywanych na ekranie i przypomina, że igramy z losem każdego człowieka z osobna, a bezlitosne otoczenie lian, pułapek oraz dzikich stworzeń nigdy nie powinno być bagatelizowane.

Zatem choć w dużym stopniu gra ta w pełni zasługuje na bycie ruganą i krytykowaną, nie mogę wystawić negatywa czemuś, co obudziło we mnie takie pokłady determinacji czy zawziętości, przy okazji całkiem nieźle kojąc zapotrzebowanie na przyjemne dla oka ilustracje. Podobno między miłością a nienawiścią jest bardzo cienka granica, a ta pozycja zdaje się na niej nie tyle balansować, co bezczelnie wykonywać ludowy taniec, naprzemiennie lądując raz z jednej, raz z drugiej strony w plemiennym szale i ja ten obłęd po prostu kupuję, czy mi się to podoba, czy nie.

Гра спочатку здається нормальною й бісить тільки незручне керування, але чим більше граєш - тим більше розумієш, що життя героїв залежить не від правильно прийнятих рішень, а від удачі й рандому. Наприклад, гра вам каже, що за рибалку ви можете отримати 0-8 рибин, в результаті отримуєте 2 чи 3, і всьо - вам нічім годувати команду. Проблема посилюється тим, що якщо один раз "щось пішло не так", то вже ви не виберетесь з цієї "ями", бо голодні, хворі чи депресивні герої будуть ще гірше працювати, ще більше впадати в депресію і приносити ще менше ресурсів, яких і так не вистачало.

Якщо вам подобається постійно починати знов і робити одне й те ж, сподіваючись, що наступного разу вам повезе більше, то це гра для вас. Але вона точно не для мене.

Survival klingt spannend: Absturz, Überleben, Drama. In der Realität bekommt man Routine, Langeweile und zufällige Frustration serviert. Wenn dieses Spiel ein Geschenk ist, dann eins, das man höflich annimmt und still in die hinterste Ecke des Inventars legt. Nett gemeint, aber ein Abenteuer ist das nicht, eher ein Crashkurs darin, wie man mit offenen Augen einschläft.

If this game is a gift, it’s the kind you politely accept and quietly stash in the back of your inventory. Геймплей включает сбор ресурсов, крафт предметов, исследование локаций и прятки от монстров в темноте – это создает ощущение клаустрофобии и напряжения. Атмосфера мрачная, с элементами хоррора, звук и графика хоть и простая, но атмосферная.

Aurait pu être très sympa si il y avait un système à choisir pour que les personnages mangent automatiquement à partir d'un certain % de faim, idem pour les mettre au repos automatiquement et se concentrer sur des choses utiles comme la survie.
Le jeu est bien trop difficile, jouez en mode facile sinon vous allez vite en avoir marre.
Et trop de RNG sur la fin du jeu...
Heureusement qu'il y a une multitude de sauvegardes automatiques.
L'ambiance est bonne et chaque personnage jouable et pnj on des traits uniques et un background qu'on apprend à découvrir avec les différents dialogues au fur et à mesure de la progression.

joguinho simples, mas divertido, focado em gerenciar um acampamento numa ilha misteriosa. a lore é básica, mas tem aquele mistério que te deixa curioso pra ver até onde vai. nada marcante, mas valeu o teste — ainda mais por ter sido gratuito na steam.
