Awkwardly shifting between 'command mode' and real time is unsatisfying due to neither mode offering enough to feel complete.
My expectations weren't high, but I still ended up a bit disappointed. There is a potential but it's unfulilled. The game is very repeatable once you go through the first few missions - the rest is basically the same, but with more/stronger enemies. You're getting more money but at the same time everything gets more expensive, including the fuel and as a result all stays at the same proportions. There is no story behind the missions and the game quickly becomes boring.
Would I play it again? No, not really. You may try it if it's on a discount, otherwise I'd stay away.

Fun at times, but the broken elements destroy it. Too much random can wreck your day and you can spend a long time ruining that day.
Having know of and played the original tabletop, and having driven for a job multiple times i will state with confidence that Dark Future, Blood Red States is the best car combat game out there. Fun edge of my seat tension with one/two lives to beat each session its fun easy to play and quick, 10 to 20 minutes per mission, or way less if you are that good. It dosen't run the best all the time, it dosen't have cutscenes, or other extra bits and bobs. It's straight to the point, this is Dark Future, real time car combat, get in buckle up, and GO FASTA!

In all seriousness The story of each character is self contained, besides one (Sai is BOSS) each through diagetic emails, so text for your story, the frame rates arent good, it can be buggy, but I love it for the fact that it's whats on the tin, exactly what i want nothing more. So give it a try if you want a good car combat game with real time elements, crazy second to second moments that belong in a fast and furious movie, and the ability to get a cinamatic camera when you play. Highly recommend can't say enough good, for me totally outways the cons by a long shot.

So the idea is great.
You are a brain in a jar...located in this super garage and you control these cool weaponised cars remotely.
The problem I had with the game is....i was finishing the mission and as I finished it...the game crashed.
Erasing my progress.
I checked the reviews and it seems like a common problem.
So the idea is cool....you pause the game to input the controls to your vehicles...unpause....you get the idea.
After completing the missions you can upgrade the cars and refuel and all that futuristic jazz.
But like I said...the game crashes and deletes the progress. Which sucks big time.
Fixing the game would make the game very enjoyable.
But for now it's a hard pass.

Übt einen gewissen Sog aus und macht Spaß, hätte aber insgesamt mehr sein können.
Als einsamer Streiter durchfahren wir die Badlands, erfüllen Missionen und füllen unsere Kasse. Viel mehr Story gibt es hier nicht und braucht es eigentlich auch nicht. Mit dem verdienten Geld verbessern wir unser Fahrzeug, um schwierigere Missionen anzunehmen und somit mehr Geld verdienen zu können. Die Grafik ist schon schön, zeigt aber nicht viel Abwechslung. Wir fahren nun mal auf einer vierspurigen Straße, links und rechts ödes Ödland. Die Fahrzeuge sind recht cool gestaltet und auch die Waffeneffekte machen Spaß. Es gibt keine Kampagne, sondern hier muss man sich selbst irgendwie eine Motivation suchen. Das funktioniert aber tatsächlich durch die Upgrades ganz gut. Ich bin mir unsicher, wie es mit der Langzeitmotivation ausschaut, aber hier und da mal eine sehr spaßige Stunde kann man mit dem Spiel gut verbringen.

A real-time-strategy car combat game. You'd swear this wouldn't work but it's actually quite fun. Gameplay is fun and chaotic, enemies are suitably threatening without overwhelming you. What I enjoy most about this game is that you actually have direct control over your car - you don't have to use the slow-down-time-to-give-orders thing, you can just use WASD and the number keys.

- Уникальный геймплей. Самое близкое, что приходит на ум это Convoy и (внезапно) Deathtrack 1989 года
- Стиль и сеттинг. Это конечно вкусовщина, но мир "тёмного будущего" через призму 80ых даёт вайбы

- Баги и вылеты. Анриал г0вHa проклинаю в веках, пожалуй самый главный недостаток этой игры. Зачем вообще надо было делать игру с графикой юнити на UE4?
- Отсутствие локализации. Терпимо, всякие лорные емейлы проще игнорировать
- Физика. Она как бы и есть, но лучше бы её не было. Можно заруинить прохождение, когда наезжая на какой-нибудь паллет машина улетает в космос
При всех недостатках я бы посоветовал поиграть, взять например по скидке в 90%. От игры можно получить удовольствие и новый экспириенс даже несмотря на то, что это очередная вархаммеровская поделка слепленная на скорую руку

Can be fun, but then it crashes to desktop after every third or fourth mission and doesn't record the progress of that mission. At this point they aren't looking to patch or fix anything, so thumbs down.
Controls are questionable and really needs controller support and mission balance is all over the place, but once you get into it, it becomes a fun arcadey experience. Worth giving a try when its only a couple of dollars, though certainly not worth it at anywhere near full price.

Рекомендую игру людям любящим рогалики и немного шевелить извилинами. Только я не понимаю, почему игра считается из серии Warhammer по мнению steam, возможно я ещё до сюжетного момента не дошёл или не нашёл пасхалку где бы мы встретили молодого императора человечества, а так игра на твёрдую 9 (ибо за час игры я вылетел дважды...)

Honestly might be the worst game I've played/tried to give a chance in years if not ever, will be brief/run-down but I'll try get the gist of the major issues. However will stress I'm not a Games Workshop fan/know about the origins of this series so my issues could well be 'I just don't get it' and on me, only the final 2 ---negative points for-sure apply in that case.

[b]~[/b] Offers (super slow/redundant, but easier) turn based and real time gameplay on a 4-lane runner so it's kind of unique, really it's just a Temple Run / Sonic Dash / Asphalt - like with vehicle combat.
[b]~[/b] Progression system is a risk VS reward system of trying to clear a run before costs of fuel get too high but also having to upgrade your vehicle enough to handle the final missions.
[b]~[/b] Steam Achievements are tracked in game but don't unlock automatically, you have to restart the game to get them.
[h2] Now what's bad: [/h2]
[b]-[/b] Mission objective text-box is right in the center of the screen and the only reason you need to manoeuvre the camera is to see around/behind the mission objective text box. Here's the fun part, the exact same information is duplicated on the top-right of the screen with the progress, so the text box in the middle blocking your view is redundant.
[b]-[/b] Available missions are RNG generated so if you have a campaign objective of say "do X number of Y type of mission" you have to wait for a good cycle and waste your time until then.
[b]-[/b] The (default Unreal Engine?) physics cause all sorts of issues, whether enemy targets get stuck off-track or you flip upside down and have to pay to reset.
[b]-[/b] Default key binding is a disaster, WASD for moving? yeah fine so the weapons will be on the right side of the keyboard right? right? or at least E and F? nope try the numbers 1, 2 and 3 directly above! Oh and even better your abilities are on F2 and F3 so by default (can rebind) you'll be playing twister with your hands or frantically playing one handed ([strike]and not in the way you might want[/strike]). Sure with rebind not a big issue, but shows the devs didn't really care.
[b]-[/b] Minor thing, but the 'tips' in the menus are the typical "hello fellow kids" kinda goofy, kinda jokey, self referential, never actually related to the game drivel all bad games have. Can we please get back to games that are at least sincere and don't treat themselves as some flippant joke? Also loading screens can hang and make you think the game has crashed, but in my experience all crashes are after mission clears instead...
[h2] and finally what's awful: [/h2]
[b]---[/b] Crashes every hour if not more, 6 times in ~5 hours of playing today, does so AFTER a mission is complete and does not save anything - so you lose progress 100% of the time it crashes. The dev also vaguely hints at driver issues on the players end in old forum posts despite being commonly reported issue so take this as a "they know, they just don't care" issue.
[b]---[/b] Will fry your GPU in windowed mode, pegs it to 100% usage no matter the settings. You [i]must[/i] run in windowed mode and ideally limit the FPS as V-sync is also, you guessed it, broken and does not work. Again often reported issue in the forums left unaddressed.
Not the sort of game I'd usually play but can't lie and say wasn't interesting to figure out, if you purely want a moderately unique game that may be messy to figure out has some merit but otherwise just couldn't find anything to respect within it. If I was cynical I'd think the devs just took a free license and grafted it on to a just-out-of-school mobile game template to make a game as fast as possible and have it maybe-sell, [i]if[/i] I was cynical.

I am a 52 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing Dark Future: Blood Red States. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son found this game at Christmas, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. Loaded into the game world and started playing but I was stuck on what you were supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he helped me. Loved it as it was the best time had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

The game just closes itself due to "No Steam connection." Literally unplayable.
The AI tries to always stay behind you so it just turns into you both being stopped or going incredibly slow trying to shoot each other in the back. Tried at least 4 different times to get into but it's just bad.

I initially played this a few years ago, and it has a alright game loop. Fight enemies. Buy upgrades. Repeat.
But after a certain point, when I finish missions the game just crashes. Causing me to either repeat the mission or uninstall the game.
One of my all time favorite games. no matter what else i play, this is always the game i come back too. Awesome real-time strategy / driving game with some very cool slow-mo moments.

Ya que tu coche, es como un tren; Siempre anda en movimiento y solo puedes modificar la velocidad, si llendo adelante o al revez. Los frenos, son una habilidad. Como si se tratase de un poder, o si no, el de alcanzar al enemigo e igualar su velocidad.
Para poder usar las armas, el nitro, los FRENOS, o diferentes velocidades:
tienes que activar el menu tactico facilmente con espacio, o clickeando. Pero NO detiene el tiempo, lo ralentiza para darte la posibilidad de dar ordenes.
+Tiene una cantidad decente de misiones, y algunas que otras, son diferentes.
Van desde eliminar X objetivo, pasando por defender al clan, y participar en la lucha. Hasta en clasicas carreras.
+Podemos comprar buena cantidad de armas, y repuestos para el auto. Eso si. Con un limite de Peso y que HAY que respetar.
Menos mal, que hasta el arma mas debil, tiene un hermoso daño.
+Visualmente se ve hermoso, y las explosiones son un espectaculo.
+La banda sonora es hermosa. Por que varia entre rock, y Retrowawe.

Como vemos en la imagen, me paso facilmente por DESTRUIR enemigos enfrente mio; El chasis y partes que vuelan, siempre dispararan aparte, y tienen colisiones. Peor si lo aniquilamos enfrente nuestro. Nos chocamos y salimos volando
También me paso, cuando había que PASAR por encima de barricadas; Los putisimos Barriles estaban hechos de obsidiana, y mi vehículo salia disparado. Como si hubiese golpeado una resortera Gigante.

Very cool little Car Brawler Rougelike !
Its just satisfiying to pull off devastating knockback combos, cutting a path trough tons of metal and planing your strategy to make a run work. The fun Part is that the combat can get really messy with dozens of cars ramming, firing grenades, laying mines etc.
The introduction might be a little downer since you start with a tutorial car that cannot fail. Helps you to get an idea of the game in your own pace but it also drags the whole thing. You may spend a couple of hours in there.
Once that is done the game becomes a Rougelike where you lose the run if you get destroyed. You start with 2 new cars that turn out to play very different. This is where the meat and potatoes of the game is. Progression in unlocking new characters and completing a run with them. Do Missions for certain Manufacturers and unlock new gear. Every Car has up and downsides and you also chose a Perk at the start of your run. I had so much fun when i combined a plasma turret with a ton of explosive knockback upgrades and blasted small and medium cars into mountainpeaks at the edge of you visible distance. Its a small and charming little game and a true gem to me.
Only Downside is that there is not much mission variety. Or rather there could be more suprising and random elements within the Missiontypes. So the overall roads and streets are a good base with some really cool backdrops but they still feel a little empty in a liminal way.
Recommended for: People that like Rougelikes and Carmageddon

Sorry, but I tried really hard to like this game. The whole thing seems unfinished. For me it had a tendency to crash at the very end of missions. Some of the animations don't seem to run correctly, and I've even seen textures that look misaligned.
I can't help but feel that there is actually a really good game buried in here, but it just needed another 6 months of development before release.
There are some good elements to the game, it's definitely not terrible. But I can't recommend it in good faith, especially if you're looking to buy it at full price.
It's a bit of a grind, but if you loved the table top this is it!
Extremely good fun, easy to play but definitely gets brutally hard fast. Lots of GW references and 80's British humour/satire, lovingly applies to a very solid game. If it's on sale, 100% recommend!

The game looks pretty cool and had a fun concept. Cars have some cool items and upgrades.
Biggest issue is that controls are just clunky. You want to line up your shots and you have to awkwardly fight with the speedometer and lane changer to try to get them to hit. This gets even worse when you have multiple cars to control and you also have to worry about friendly fire, even on the auto-aim abilities.

The game is OK.
The first time you run it, make sure you go and default the graphic settings. For me all were displayed as being set on low but I'm sure they were maxed out. I could only change them to low after resetting them.

This is a game that looks and plays and feels exactly like screenshots and videos make it appear. I beat every campaign in normal mode, and got max corpo rep from all but one corp, and it took about 40 hours. I look forward to attempting pro mode.

Had this in my library for years and finally tried it. Great game! I knew it was a strategy game going in and I love the slow methodical approach to Mad Max style car combat. It reminds me of a board game I had as a kid where the sections of road would never end and you just kept battling until no one was left. Really enjoying this!
Fun little game, strategic mode and line up to take out enemies. Runs short enough to play a few and take a break, it's got a bit of jank to it though.
I think the biggest disappointment is that there isn't more. More weapons, more vehicle choices, bigger scale plot than the basic seasons.
Easily worth grabbing any time it's on sale, though I kinda hope for a sequel with some improvements and a bigger scope.
Good fun and takes me back to playing the tabletop game in the 90's. Some annoying bits where trucks wouldn't join the road or enemies would suddenly gain a tactical insight that Sun Tzu would envy but good fun.
I can't in good conscience recommend this at the regular price. I got it for 3$ and it seemed about right for the amount of content you're getting.

Dabei wird man laufend von gegnerischen Autos angegriffen und kann in Echtzeit oder im Command Mode (Zeitlupenmodus) seine Waffen wählen und abfeuern. Zwischen den Strecken kann man im Shop Extras und neue Waffen kaufen - wenn man es sich leisten könnte, denn das meiste Geld geht für´s Benzin drauf! ;)

Recebi Dark Future como parte da seleção Humble Choice e decidi finalmente dar uma chance. A premissa do jogo parecia promissora: não se trata apenas de corridas, mas de batalhas táticas em alta velocidade.
O jogo se passa em um futuro distópico, o governo é inexistente e as rodovias se tornaram um campo de batalha caótico. Seu objetivo é aceitar contratos para tentar manter o pouco de lei que ainda resta. Apesar das expectativas iniciais, percebi que uma palavra descreve cada aspecto de Dark Future: repetitividade.

A trilha sonora também é bem executada e se encaixa perfeitamente na atmosfera do jogo. Começamos com o tutorial, onde você é lançado em uma pista com diversos textos explicativos sobre a mecânica do jogo. No entanto, esses textos falham em ensinar efetivamente como jogar. Aprendi mais sobre o jogo experimentando e jogando do que seguindo o tutorial.
O jogo é dividido em temporadas, cada uma com um personagem diferente, cada qual com seu carro e habilidades únicas. Completar uma temporada desbloqueia um "perk" que adiciona uma nova habilidade, e completando no modo Pro, você melhora esse perk. Existem 8 temporadas, mas as diferenças entre elas são mínimas. A única exceção notável é o personagem The Gambler, que oferece a opção de desativar uma arma aleatória em troca de um bônus no início de cada contrato.
Ao iniciar uma temporada, você recebe uma mensagem sobre a escassez de combustível, que pode aumentar de preço a qualquer momento. Você começa com quatro galões de combustível, uma capacidade máxima de cinco, e cada contrato consome um galão. Dependendo do perk ou personagem, você pode ter mais galões ou vender o excedente. Existe uma loja onde é possível comprar melhorias e armas para os carros, além de contratar parceiros para ajudar nos contratos. Os contratos variam entre passar por bloqueios, destruir gangues, entre outros. Durante o contrato, o carro pilota automaticamente em uma rodovia de quatro pistas. Você controla a troca de pistas, a direção (frente ou ré), a velocidade, e habilidades como reparar o carro, usar turbo, ou manter a mesma velocidade do alvo. As armas incluem uma traseira, uma frontal e uma torreta, todas com tempo de recarga após o uso. Esses comandos podem ser realizados através de atalhos no teclado ou no modo comando, onde tudo fica em câmera lenta e você pode selecionar múltiplos comandos para executar de uma vez.
O maior problema é acompanhar os inimigos. É quase impossível emparelhar com eles devido à diferença de velocidades e ao tempo de recarga das armas. Desde visuais e trilha sonoras repetitivas até uma mecânica que falha em explorar seu próprio potencial, Dark Future deixa muito a desejar. No entanto, mesmo diante dessas falhas, ainda considero um jogo que vale a pena ser experimentado. No entanto, como alguém que aprecia explorar um jogo ao máximo e alcançar a platina, Dark Future se revela uma experiência frustrante.
O jogo oferece duas conquistas monótonas: falhar em 1.000 temporadas e completar 1.000 temporadas. Completar 1.000 temporadas em um conjunto limitado de oito disponíveis é uma tarefa árdua que, a cada minuto jogado, faz você odiar o jogo ainda mais. It's amazing how you can just draw a conclusion if a game is good or bad just after playing for less than an hour.
I didn't have fun at all , the tutorial is just bad, too much text that I don't understand why I should read when you could just engage me in the gameplay via button prompts thus teaching me the basis step by step.
The options for vehicle upgrade are open all at once and you don't really know what to spend your money on at first, thus the progression is badly balanced since if it's open all at once it doesn't seem to matter what upgrades you purchase since you'll buy them all after the second mission and won't even feel the difference during combat.
During combat I had difficulty staying behind the enemy, despite the speed matching button , when I actually did press it -the bots just hit the breaks and you just crash into them, now having only bomb drops from the back you just constantly receive damage in the back that can't be dodged , so only way to be behind the enemy is going extremely slow which makes the game extremely slow, boring and unengaging because you just keep going at 20 km/h waiting for the cooldowns to reset to be able to shoot again.
Oh and while running the game my PC just started spinning every fan it has at 120% speed like it wanted to take off and hit the wall just how bad this game was.

Since the release of the excellent board game Battlecars in 1983, I've been looking for a PC game of similar mechanics and quality.
This is finally the one in terms of gameplay.
The fun is there from the very first missions, thanks to the car handling (real time with near pause, sleek mouse commands,) the tactical possibilities, the chaos, the speed, the environment, etc.
Unfortunately, the game crashes too often, preferably near the end of missions.
And the UI wasn't coded with enough neurons to include a save system, the workaround to every single developer's shortcomings.
It's not only me or a case of bad luck: reports of this issue fill half the forum's discussions. Consequently, I cannot recommend the game to you: the bug would probably affect you too and ruin your good time.
As for myself, I can't be bothered restarting a mission from scratch if it's likely to crash again on the finish line. I'll keep looking for competent software.
The Best "CAR WARS" like game on PC that isn't shoot em up Twisted Metal-ish. Autoduel was fun on C64 but this is more like a video game of the non-GURPS Steve J game pen paper and counters... Love it!
I can't recommend this game at all. Even at 90% off it felt like a waste of time. Death Roads: Tournament is in all ways a superior game and for a similar price. Maybe DF:BRS walked so DR:T could run, but DR:T is a fuller, richer implementation of this genre overall.
The game may be great, but it has an exceedingly bad tutorial. I have no idea what to do or how to do it because it's never taught.
For all I know, I'm missing the mechanics that make it fun to some on here. For example, the six jam-packed screens of text that tell you what mechanics do failed to mention how to actually target or fire your weapons.
This feels like an early beta, and looks visually like it too.

This is a video game version of a really old Games Workshop miniature game that was basically their version of a game called Car Wars. I mostly mention its board game roots as its kind of a video game implementation of the board game. I think that is important to take into consideration for how the game plays.
Its a valiant implementation of the ruleset into a real time with pause format and it does a good version of that. But there are just a lot of technical issues. I have been stuck in respawn for minutes at a time, I have had numerous unrecoverable crashes on runs where it was pervasive to the extent that when I reloaded my run after a crash to desktop, it would once again crash to desktop if I finished that run. My only option was to restart a season.
I actually wrote a much more scathing review before but ended up coming back and playing another few hours on it because apparently I am some kind of masochist. Anyway, I had less crashes than before and less just crappy situations, but its still. Ugh
Okay I start a run with the Gangcult leader and my mission is to take on two missions against the T-birds. On the screen where I pick my missions I go three runs where I do not get a single mission against the T-birds. Its all random. The thing is, every run the price of fuel goes up as a way to limit the amount of time you can afford to complete a mission. So time is grinding down and I can't even get a mission with the T-birds to progress my goal.
Well crap, I came here to give a more positive review because I had played more hours and just made myself feel bad about the game again.
And yet I still want to do do another run because I had the boardgame as a kid and this is the best version there is available.
Unless you have some serious nostalgic attachment, Id say no. There are just better games that scratch this itch if you don't have the nostalgia. FTL uses a spaceship instead of a car, is less buggy, and is cheaper.
The email lore stuff is pretty cool though. It honestly tries to build a pretty good world. Its just a pity the experience is limited so much by the boardgame and by the bugginess of the engine running this PC version of it.
Meh out of 10. If you liked the boardgame and have that attachment, get it on sale.

The game was fine in the tutorial and then first mission was playing fine up till a enemy car came and the game went to like 1 FPS! i managed to quit the game but my whole PC was running like 1 fps!

Crashes repeatedly at the end of missions. Considering I'm 6 hours in and the missions I'm doing are tough as hell. It's 20-40 minutes lost each time. Neat idea, poor implementation. 遊戲內容總共有5種任務，每個任務的過關方式都不同，大致上不懂英文也能理解要幹嘛（提示挺明顯）。
而操作上，給新人一些講解：
上下取決於車速增加＆減少。
左右取決於車道轉換（有四條車道）。
空白鍵可以時間暫停，並可開始設定你的武器使用，每項武器使用後會有冷卻時間，當冷卻結束後再次空白鍵暫停並設定武器（重複循環步驟）。
看似好像很蠢的設定，但玩起來出乎意料地順暢＆有難度，很適合給想打發時間的人。
P.S：在介面區塊，要進任務要找Mission那邊去點地圖任務~~並記得要適當的補充油。

This game is a mess.
Combat is HIGHLY unintuitive and clumsy.
The world building is nice but its all delivered through random emails, there's only 10 characters and like 5 mission types and that's it. There is zero content and even if there was the combat is just so awkward. Enemies are tanky as hell, there's no easy way to bring your guns around and the system is just bad. It's a neat idea but making it real time was a complete fumble, Dark Future was created as a turn based game for a reason.
Cool little car combat game, not overly complex game-play but a very refreshing play-style, cool concepts with decent lore/story updates between missions, not many bugs though it has annoyingly crashed 5/6 times at the end of missions in 12 hours.
I can see this getting boring after a number of lengthy play sessions, so I'm hitting it in small chunks to keep it fresh.

Super fun and addictive, easy to get the hang of it (despite being presented with a wall of text in the tutorial, it all makes perfect sense), but it's literal hell in the higher difficulties and the Murder Trucks are just insanely OP. The game 'constantly' crashes as highlighted in other reviews. I've gotten a crash every 2 hours in average.
Especially annoying when it crashes right after finishing a mission because you don't receive the payment (fuel is not spent either though) so you have to redo the mission.
Regarding achievements, they don't unlock until you launch the game again, speaking of which... It contains 4 Troll achievements: Finish 100 and 1000 campaigns and Fail 100 and 1000 campaigns (yes, you would need to play through a campaign [there's multiple, hence 'a'] 2000 times, 1000 times dying triggering a Game Over and 1000 beating it), I'd say just use SAM for that if you're into 100% completing your games or have OCD or something.
I like the game. But if feels like an abandoned beta. So much potential but zero updates.

I loved this game and was addicted to it for first 10 hours or so. But I just can't recommend it. I hate when games are poorly optimized. Just because gamers bought powerful rigs after the last crypto bubble burst it doesn't mean that you don't need to optimize your product. I saw some people in reviews claim that this title managed to overload some 3080 and I can confirm that 1660 barely handles it on maxed out graphics. 3 crashes during 10 hours of gameplay. And there's nothing special about it's visuals, I mean aesthetics are good, but this is nothing beyond the mid 00s in technologies.
Big warning for completionists: achievements for this game are nuts. Complete 1000 seasons and Fail 1000 seasons. I could say that completing and failing 100 seasons would be too much because game starts to be repetitive after 10 hours and it's about 5 runs and 1 fail for me. 1000 would be beyond me. And achivment statistics shows. 100 seasons/fails has a same % as 1000 that means that one or few players achived both 100 and 1000 seasons/fails goals. The fact that developers expecting someone to play 2000 campaings in repetitive single player game is crazy. This amounts of campaings/runs imaginable only in multiplayer or rougelike expiriences.
P.S. amazing concept of gameplay, but not for 1+ car. Every Escort mission or mission ther you hired OP is a nightmare. Second car can't attack or choose lanes on it's own so any part of joy shatters from micromanagment you must endure
If you played the board game then you would love this version. I have 2 boxes of this game, one sealed and on I play with, since this the box set is hard to find, but a rare gem from GW's hay-day. and this gives that same flavor with some minor rule changes as per this version. But if you like the original box set than this game has been done right
Excellent car combat game. The autopilot lets you focus on the destruction of your opponents and it’s a lot of explosive fun!

I forgot how much I loved this one! GREAT car combat and a ton of flavor in the UI. This is a winner!
On second thought...it does bug out A LOT, needs better music, and needs to allow extra mouse button keybinds. Still a really solid game, but it has some quirks that should really be ironed out!
Cool concept but the gameplay was not well thought out and it's pretty boring even in the first mission.

The core idea is good, the gameplay isn't that bad either, but this one got really repetitive really fast.

If you're looking for something you can just zone out with and have a Death Race 3000 kind of experience, this is pretty neat. It's not as gruesome as Twisted Metal or Carmagheddon, but it's bullet time tactics and quirky Alternative Timeline will charm you over quite nicely.
the game is great bought it last weekend and got insta hooked, its a fun retro arcade style car game, its hard and roguelikish and has a ♥♥♥♥ ton of lore to read, its a short game and cheap.
The premise of this game is actually quite nice: Tactical car combat, where focus is on strategy rather than driving. However, the mechanics and the few mission types get old very quickly. It would be a lot more fun, if the shop was not as restrictive, thereby preventing the player from creating OP builds. I also had quite a few crashes. 6/10
