"Dakar 18" é uma experiência de simulação que separa os curiosos dos verdadeiros entusiastas de rali, focando muito mais na arte da navegação do que na velocidade pura e simples. O foco aqui é a escala monumental e o realismo geográfico, ao contrário de jogos de corrida arcade como "DiRT Rally", onde o caminho é sempre óbvio. Apesar de exigir uma paciência de ferro, creio que os aficionados por simulação extrema e pelo deserto sul-americano (Peru, Bolívia e Argentina) também irão apreciar o desafio hercúleo de cruzar milhares de quilômetros usando apenas um roadbook.
Eu disse que o jogo foca na navegação, e é aqui que a estratégia tática se torna brutal. No papel de um piloto (seja de carro, caminhão, moto ou quadriciclo), você não tem um minimapa ou uma linha traçada no chão; você tem um navegador (ou o seu próprio instinto) lendo notas de direção e azimutes. O jogador precisa decidir constantemente entre acelerar para recuperar tempo ou diminuir a velocidade para garantir que não perdeu um waypoint escondido nas dunas. Escolher a rota através do terreno acidentado não é apenas uma decisão de curto prazo; um erro de cálculo de 5 graus no seu compasso pode te deixar perdido por quilômetros, o que quem jogar vai sentir que o deserto é um adversário muito mais perigoso que os outros competidores.
A jogabilidade é deliberadamente pesada e, na minha opinião, um dos seus maiores méritos é a mecânica de "atolar": se você não for cuidadoso com o tipo de solo, seu veículo ficará preso na areia ou na lama. É mostrado o estado físico do veículo e dos pneus; quando você é forçado a descer do carro, pegar a pá e colocar pranchas sob as rodas para desatolar, a imersão atinge um nível raramente visto. No entanto, é preciso ser cauteloso; o modelo de danos é punitivo e consertar o veículo no meio da etapa consome um tempo precioso de penalidade, o que ensina que a conservação do equipamento é a chave para chegar ao pódio em Córdoba.
Ainda sobre a jornada, aqui há um conceito muito importante que é o moral do navegador e a resiliência do piloto. Na exploração das dunas do Peru, não fique apenas pisando fundo; foque em entender a linguagem do roadbook e a topografia à sua frente. Você não precisará apenas de reflexos rápidos, mas antes é preciso ter disciplina, senso de direção e uma calma absoluta para não ser engolido pelo deserto.

Ta piola y todo lindos gráficos pero hay algunos bugs que joden como ir primero y ya llevar varios kilómetros recorrido hasta que de la nada puede spawnear un piloto adelante tuyo o también el otro bug de ir a una velocidad superior a los 180 km por una pista despejada y mágicamente chocas contra algo invisible... Pequeños detalles que te pueden pudrir la jugabilidad, pero en el resto está buenísimo me atrevería a decir que este es mejor que el Dakar desert rally

Eu queria muito gostar desse jogo, não! Melhor, eu gosto mas o jogo é precário, não por falta ou excesso de alguma mecânica mas pela péssima execução.
Bem, vou começar pelo lado bom, esse é o único Rally Raid realista que eu já vi, e não, Dakar Desert Rally não se compara, Desert Rally é muito mais uma corrida maluca do que realista, e é exatamente esse o grande destaque e grande fracasso deste aqui.
Este jogo tenta ser fiel a temporada Dakar de 2018, com as mesmas localizações e equipes, distâncias e condições climáticas, com guia realista e mecânicas de danos ao veículo, atolar ou se perder na imensidão das corridas que chegam a durar mais de horas.
Se parássemos aqui o jogo seria ótimo e é o motivo porque eu queria que ele fosse bom, mas quando o jogo prossegue a coisa toda começa a desmoronar.
O principal aspecto dessas corridas, como de todo rally, é o quão importante é o co-piloto, que não só te guia, uma vez que não há GPS, mapa, nem fita laranja bloqueando os caminhos errados, você depende totalmente do co-piloto e do mini guia desnecessariamente confuso, mas ok, isso faz parte de Dakar na vida real, o que não faz parte é que, assim como o Copilot da Microsoft, o deste jogo é completamente inútil! Ele demora de mais para dar algumas informações e em alguns casos só fala: NOW! e minha reação é: AGORA O QUÊ DIACHO???
Este problema na latência que ele passa as informações por si só já destrói o jogo inteiro, porque tem bifurcações que você tem que se antecipar e entender o guia muito antes para poder fazer, pulos e subidas com nível de periculosidade mal descritas E ATÉ ERRADAS, do tipo "suba a ladeira" mas na verdade é descer. E o pior, zonas com limites de velocidade não anunciadas... Sim, gera penalidade cruzar essas zonas acima do limite, e penalidades desproporcionais...
A física do jogo também não ajuda, parece até que os carros têm o mesmo amortecedor do GTA V, nenhum, o carro vai pulando doidamente, e as vezes, mesmo uma pedra, de, eu diria, uns 10cm de altura, pode mandar o carro para marte. Os pulos não são realistas e cada carro parece ter um problema ridículo, o 3008 parece que vai rodar a cada curva, a Hilux mergulha de dianteira para todo pulo, a Mitsubishi fica shimando igual skate barato.
Só para fechar, a situação que me fez escrever essa review negativa:
Eu já estava há 25 minutos num rally, com a segunda melhor colocação, de repente, meu carro atolou, saí, tentei usar a pá e as pranchas para desatolar, não funcionou, tentei sair de novo para pedir ajuda, o piloto não saia mais e o carro estava completamente estático... Tive que pedir para reiniciar no waypoint anterior, tomei penalidade de 15 MINUTOS, por fazer uso dessa função (sim, retornar ao waypoint não só te volta quilómetros atrás, como te dá penalidade), e o jogo me voltou exatamente numa zona de limite de velocidade de 30km/h, eu sem saber, em menos de um segundo acelerei tudo e tomei outros 15 minutos de penalidade, no final terminei o rally com 30 minutos mas com tempo de 1 HORA, por conta das penalidades que me tiraram de segundo lugar e me colocaram em antepenúltimo.

Спортивное ориентирование на транспорте. С ралли Дакар я раньше не был знаком, но благодаря этой игре хотя бы понял его суть. Но надолго меня не хватило, потому что здесь геймплей завязан на точном следовании временному графику и ориентации по градусам компаса. Всё же, мне больше по душе обычное ралли, где ты просто жмёшь тапку в пол и пытаешься не разложиться на очередном повороте.
Но попробовать стоило. Отдельно хочется отметить наличие команды МАЗ, было очень приятно их увидеть в игре. Единственное что расстроило, это довольно таки примитивная физика транспорта и песка. Ну и отсутствие русского текста создает небольшой дискомфорт, хоть это и не критично.
В остальном же, за свои деньги отличная игра для фанатов Дакар или для тех кто хотел бы узнать что это вообще такое.

After 15 years a new Dakar game has been release and while its huge upgrade on everything and also simulates the open world stage for a more realist experience its really hard to follow the "Roadblock" and the only assist the game provide to navigate is compass on Rookie difficulty were the AI is not competitive at all making the game boring to play.

Dakar 18 es ese juego al que todos los años, en estas fechas, vuelves a jugar para disfrutar de cerca lo que es una experiencia Dakar. Gráficamente no está mal, las físicas no son los mejores, pero el sistema de navegación... es toda una pasada. Recomendable, sobre todo para aquellos que quieran disfrutar del reto que conlleva jugar este juego ;)

Dakar 18, graficos decentes para la epoca, conduccion algo arcade pero aceptable y mucha inmersion con lo de tener que usar el libro de ruta para guiarte.
Una cosa a destacar, esto es el Dakar 18, este se corrio en sudamerica entre Peru y Argentina y eso es lo que nos vamos a encontrar. No espereis alguna etapa clasica en Europa, Africa o las de ahora en arabia, esto es solamente el Dakar 18, lo cual por el precio que tiene esta muy bien.

игру хрен запустишь без прописи строки в запуске. и вторая проблема это проблема с производительностью. после 30 мин танцев с бубном так и не удалось пофиксить. игра показывает стабильный 60 фпс но видно что подтармаживает каждыую секунду. при том что по графике э

Que jogo difícil! O copiloto é bem ruim, lerdo demais pra dar as direções, além de cortar falas, então o negócio é aprender a dirigir, se manter no caminho correto, enquanto interpreta as direções do livro... sem sair do caminho, sem capotar o carro, sem bater, sem se perder no meio do nada e ficar sem saber o que fazer.
O jogo permite jogar na dificuldade Novato, que mostra no compasso a direção, ou seja, só seguir a indicação igual GTA, MAS EU SOU UM HOMEM então obviamente prefiro jogar sem isso e me perder, como qualquer homem faria.
Gosto muito de jogos rally, esse tem nada a ver. A física dos veículos é 4/10 (0 = arcade, 10 = simulador), lembra Dirt 3.
Eu nem joguei a campanha ainda, estou repetindo o treinamento e concluí todas as lições, é bem desafiador. Novamente, o jogo permite jogar de forma mais simples, eu que escolhi sofrer, você pode jogar como quiser.

Achei brabo, me perdi várias vezes enquanto estava correndo no meio do deserto, capotei meu carro diversas vezes enquanto esquecia de ler e ouvir as referências do percurso. O jogo tem alguns problemas (tipo o principal, de entrar e o jogo fechar) porém lendo a página da steam aqui da comunidade consegui resolver
only a few hours in, but very fun. incredibly hard and turning off the coddriver is basically a necessity as he gives bad info. google a pdf of the roadbook and play with a friend, or get good at multi tasking and read the notes on your own
if you like racing games you will hate this. it’s not a great driving sim but the navigational stuff is a really interesting challenge. be warned some stages can take over an hour

Bestes Rally Raid Spiel bislang. Ich habe 25 Stunden damit verschwendet Dakar Desert Rally zu spielen, bis ich kapiert habe, dass dieses Spiel hier nicht der direkte Vorgänger, sonder ein ganz anderes Spiel ist. Ich fahre ausschließlich Motorräder, die Physik ist fragwürdig bis schlecht, aber die Navigation ist großartig umgesetzt. Macht schon wirklich Spaß.
Bem melhor que o seu sucessor Dakar Desert Rally, o jogo é um pouco arcade e gráficos mais simples porem vc pode sair do carro e de fato cavar perto das rodas par desatolar o carro, guinchar e ajudar outros carros, vc sente de fato que esta participando de um evento de rally dakar mesmo, sem contar que as pistas são longas e traz uma imersão bacana. Mesmo sendo mais antigo todo os complementos que tem nesse jogo fazem ele bem melhor do que seu sucessor.

It's not just that the co-driver is useless and gives horrible directions, sometimes sending you to the middle of nowhere, but when you're lost there are no real landmarks. You're just in a desert surrounded by sand. How can you go back to the last known checkpoint when there's nothing to visually reference? Which dune or piece of sand did you pass a few minutes ago? Everything looks the same no matter where you are.
Unlike in DDR, where the maps have way more visual variety and things to reference if you get lost such as unique rock formations, a notable tree, a powerline in the distance, etc. This game doesn't seem to have any of that from what I saw. It was just awful.
The driving physics are awful. You're like driving on ice. I was willing to get used to it but ultimately I didn't feel like I could learn the courses because the co-driver instructions are so bad. Whoever was responsible for them should be fired immediately. It's just disgusting.

Šī ir ļoti laba braukšanas spēle. Maldoties pa kāpām, un pēc tam uzbraukt uz ceļa sliedēm un spiest gāzi grīdā ir vienkārši fantastiski. Ir ļoti interesanti meklēt kontrolpunktus. Un ļoti bieži ir dilemma - braukt pa norādīto kursu pāri lielajām kāpām un šķēršļiem, vai apbraukt kāpas un akmeņus, bet tādējādi riskējot pazaudēt kursu!!
Ļoti liels pluss ir kameru pārslēgšana. Autentisku sajūtu rada stūres kamera, jo tad logs noperas ar dubļiem, un ir jātīra.
Ir reālistiski, ka var izkāpt un palīdzēt izvilkt citas mašīnas, un izrakt sevi ar lāpstu.
9/10. 10 nav tāpēc, ka spēlē nevar uztaisīt savu varoni.

This is a very good driving game. Getting lost in the dunes and then driving onto the road tracks and full throttle the accelerator is simply fantastic. Searching for checkpoints is very engaging. There's often a dilemma – whether to follow the indicated course over the large dunes and obstacles or to go around the dunes and rocks, risking losing the course!
A big plus is the camera switching feature. The steering wheel camera provides an authentic feeling, as the windshield gets covered in mud and needs to be cleaned.
It's also realistic that you can get out to help pull other cars out or dig yourself out with a shovel.
9/10. It doesn't get a 10 because it's not possible to create your own character in the game.

Como nos gusta el Dakar y qué poca probabilidad hay de que algún día saquen un videojuego realmente bueno sobre este rally!
A menos, hasta que llegue ese momento, los desarrolladores de Bigmoon Entertainment lo han intentado, y se puede decir que han acabado creando una experiencia de aprobado raspadito.
A ver, lo bueno de este juego es que trae varias categorías con las que puedes participar en el Dakar, lo malo es que todos tienen su parte negativa. Por ejemplo, el copiloto es bastante malo y más de una vez vas a querer pegarle una patada para sacarlo del coche. Podrías elegir vehículos sin copiloto, como las motos, pero estas tienen unas físicas tan malas que te acabarán haciendo buenas a los vehículos de 4 ruedas. Luego tienes los quads que se manejan reguleros y en el que tendrás que leerte tú mismo el roadbook, suerte con ello porque tiene algunos fallos de traca que pueden llegar a hacer que pierdas la carrera y lo de reiniciar cuando llevas 40 min corriendo... como que desespera.
A parte de esto, en la carrera vais a ser 6 coches contados y ni siquiera te encontrarás con vehículos de otras categorías, lo que hace que este juego se sienta cualquier cosa menos Dakar.

Conclusión: A ver, no os voy a negar que lo recomiendo solo porque es el mejor juego del Dakar que te puedes comprar a fecha de esta reseña, pero no deja de ser un juego mediocre. Ten esto en cuenta antes de comprarlo!

Good game. Physics are medium quality, crash physics good if you have them on, and roadbook feature is great and very useful for experience and relation to real life. Multiplayer online is also working if you have a blessing or luck. Good to try multiplayer in the early morning if you live in Europe, and at night if you live in North or South America, as there is one community that hosts multiplayer at this time.

Doesn't work with my Simagic wheel and pedals.
The driving physics are not great. The car feels weightless and goes sideways if you even touch the brakes. For a game that relies so much on accurate navigation, the co-driver is terrible. The co-driver tends to be late with the directions or inaccurate a lot. It is a shame, could have been a great game for dakar fans.

Totally crap
Close to recommend, but too many inexcusable problems. I really like the concept of the "pick your own line" racing game, and I really wanted to like this one, but its just too frustrating to play.
Lets start with the most important:
Glitches _hard_ when loading new scenery areas on GeForce Now. it is not a connectivity problem, which makes the next few seconds of frames go to more compression or lower quality. No, the game is not feeding GeForce Now with new frames to send to my computer, so both video and audio are perfect quality but just straight up missing while it is loading., while your truck is in motion and probably smashing into something while you are waiting for the next frame to get created some 2 seconds later.
When you get into a speed controlled checkpoint, the auto driver freaks out, makes your truck do donuts, hit things on the edge which at best damage your truck but sometimes make you go disqualified.
Even with the graphics cranked up, there is no way to see and avoid soft sand, pick out rocks among bushes, etc which takes the game from this could be a fun challenge to just random results.
The waypoint system and co-driver are annoying AF. Pick a different line around a tall dune instead of going over it, to a checkpoint that is multiple km away, both the "WP" indicator and the co-driver freak out about you being off track. THAT IS THE POINT OF THIS GAME! I wish the "clock" indidcator for the next must get to point was displayed all the time, that is very useful. The WP on compass and co-driver are not at all.

This has to be the funniest racing game i've ever played.
Better than Dakar Desert Rally in almost every way.
Some might consider this game an acquired taste, but it's damn satisfying if you do acquire the taste for it. A showcase of when it comes to terrain, a straight line isn't always the fastest route.
Oui la physique est un peu bizarre à appréhender, et oui le copilote nous plante parfois sans véritable raison. Mais ce jeu est bien conçu, limite mieux que son successeur... Un vrai plaisir de se "perdre" en hors piste, rattraper d'autres concurrents. Les paysages sont parfois vides, mais en même temps perdu dans le désert y'a t il autre chose que du sable à voir ?
Il ne faut pas à s'attendre à du Rally à la Dirt ou WRC, c'est plus un jeu de piste / géocatching !
Pour le moment, j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir dans ces longues étapes du Dakar ! :)
