Игра определенно кому-то понравится и даже понимаю почему, но мой отзыв отрицательный, основные претензии:
Во-первых, перед покупкой мне хотелось бы понимать, что я буду все головоломки решать в игре, а не бегать по интернету в поисках стихов и гугл карт.
Во-вторых, я не знаю кто там пишет, что английский тут не нужен или же нужен не выше А1, по факту же, примерно 70% загадок, будут от вас требовать знаний английских слов, а то и прочтения целых текстов и понимания смысла заложенного в нем (благо разработчик додумался добавить схематичное объяснение методов расшифровки, спасибо огромное).
Теперь по самой игре, отходя от языкового барьера и ошибочных ожиданий:
1. Эта игра предоставляет подробную информацию о методах криптографии, но не дает инструментов для удобного решения задач, да и хотя бы неудобного тоже. Это буквально задачи из учебника, которые нужно и приходится решать на бумаге. Смысл игры только в электронном вводе ответа ну и музыке на фоне. Все, в остальном это учебник с задачками.
Даже на бумаге это лютая дрочь, если вы не способны написать простейшие алгоритмы, то никакого удовольствия вы от этой игры не получите. В этой игре просто необходима простая консолька, как во многих ITшных играх для автоматизации этой ♥♥♥♥♥.
2. Информация из интернета - вот я скачал игру на условный ноут, поехал куда-то в деревню без интернета, мы же все по мнению разработчика помним наизусть стихотворения Э.Алана По (ты еще догадайся в первой задаче, что нужно что-то гуглить идти), помним таблицу Менделеева наизусть, знаем что там по координатам в гугле находится... Всю эту информацию можно было бы включить в игру.
Возможно разраб хотел этим показать какую-то производимую работу дешифраторами, но мб об этом стоит предупреждать? Больше конечно похоже на лень.
Кому игра подойдет: Тем кто изучает или хочет изучить методы криптографии, при условии знания английского языка, кучи времени и умению писать простейшие алгоритмы для автоматизации расшифровки, либо желающим исписывать тонны бумаги.
Возвращать не стал, т.к. стоит копейки, что смог решить в заметках то решил, в остальном получил досяги по гайду и забыл.
p.s. Почему задания из блока испытаний легче чем по темам?
Возможно это связано с плохим знанием английского, но это не точно
p.s.s. интересно, если взять учебник по условной гидродинамике и из этого же учебника запихать задачи, поместить на музейные стенды под Шопена или Бетховена, оно тоже будет "очень положительно" оценено? Некоторые задачи мы конечно же обозначим названием учебника и страницей, чтобы шли гуглить, что там решать-то нужно.
能理解“有理由打低分”的人，因为作为游戏形式可能缺乏一些游戏性，但是就我个人而言还是比较惊喜的，在steam上能遇到这样一份外行入门（密码学）指南是很宝贵的体验——更何况完全不贵，性价比拉满了。

当做puzzle解还是挺有趣的
主要范围是Classical cipher。凯撒密码，移位密码，弗吉尼亚，还有ENIGMA ciphers。给一段密码硬解，需要一定的前置知识，因为本人非这种纯解密的受众，后面实在解不下去，于是看了答案凑全成就。
给好评是因为不能给中评，差评也不合适。

Some of the puzzles are genuine BS but there is a realism to it in that real life isn't a game.
Would have been nice to have many more fair/easy puzzles and was more educational with tutorials and exercises but ultimately it's a free game that works and gives what is advertised. I cannot fault the devs.

There is absolutely nothing in the game to add comfort, or to ease a resolution path. Some text overlays, in-gamme annotations, a string substitution tester... Anything.
The game asks you to write down tons of text, to work on.
Of course, the tiny mistake makes the enigma unsolvable.
Best you can do is to take screenshots, and print these.
At this point, you don't need the game anymore.
A simple PDF, or the game section of a science magazine will offer a better experience.
The video game format itself is not adapted to these conundrums.
Or if so, this game didn't do the bare minimum.

感觉学了一本密码学基础，每一章先讲一点基本知识点，然后一组练习题，需要脑细胞、纸笔、网络、少量基本常识（因为是英文的所以需要一些英语水平和西方文学常识，但是文学不会的也可以搜倒是），不过可能游戏性就有点欠缺，就是一个电子版密码学教程的感觉

I can't recommend this as a game really, this is just a deciphering learning tool and it does a good job at that, but as a game it lacks the hints and help you'd usually get, I completed the first "stage" and spend a good hours on it and when I got to the second one I was stumped with a lot of reading and then another 10 puzzles that go beyond the average people's knowledge.
If you are into Decrypting or Deciphering stuff and wan't to learn more with an interactive guide then go ahead and get this, but If you are completetly new to this and you don't want to be stuck reading tons of info and searching on wikis then you're just better off sitting this one out.

A really calming and thought provoking experience, I actually really enjoyed the atmosphere even though it its literally just a white place, might just be the liminality that I enjoy. I did need assistance from guides though because obviously the puzzles are super complex (at least they are to me) but it was still really cool to see what the answer was and try to link it to the question.

While the idea of a game in which the player decyphers text modeled as a museum is a neat idea, the movement mechanism of the game is so unusable that it ruins the game experience, causing far too much time trying to properly move and look around compared to actually solving the puzzles. Just movement being arrows keys with maybe two letter keys for rotating perspective, or simply mouse click to move to a location and maybe hold and mouse movement to pan the camera, would've been much easier to use and maybe easier to implement. Or at least there being a substantially wider radius in which clicking on a prompt would activate it. Trying to find the right angle at which to cause clicking the prompt to register shouldn't itself be a puzzle.
Also, while classical music as background is an excellent atmospheric choice for a museum, the rendering of appoggiaturas in the Mozart Sonata slow movement and utter lack of feeling in the performances of Clair de Lune and Liebestraum No. 3 make it clear all the background music was approximately MIDI-generated. If one can't get a real human pianist you could at least write in some liberties for the computer program to execute at certain points in the pieces.

Aber nun merke ich, meine Fähigkeiten sind stark ausbaufähig...
Die ersten Rätsel waren einfach, doch nun hänge ich bereits im Raum 1 Steganography Rätsel 8 fest...und die anderen Räume möchte ich erst danach machen.
Lösungen aus Guides sind keine Option für mich - nicht bei diesem Spiel.
Nun befasse ich mich erst einmal mit Binärcodes und mache später weiter ;-)
Man muss tatsächlich Pause machen, sonst dreht man irgendwie durch, lol.
Ich bin zwar erst am Anfang, doch mir macht das Spiel trotz schlichter Aufmachung Spaß, weil es sehr stark die eigene Denk- und Merkfähigkeit beansprucht und in gewisser Weise den Horizont erweitert. Man lernt sozusagen dazu.
Klar ist jedoch, es ist nicht für alle geeignet.

I don't recommend this game - not really because it is not good crypto game. The puzzles are good with decent knowledge in the history and common crytography method. However, as a game, this really gives me too many moments of I just learned 1+1 and you give me hint of 10+10, then I am calculating calculus.
Very misleading with the sentence "Grab a pen and paper and test your deciphering skills across 40+ challenging puzzles." In fact pen and paper are not sufficient for many puzzles. I need to use search engine, excel, and even write some codes. The hint given is sometimes not enough. Advanced tools are not included in the game so it is really struggling to back and forth. Have to give up at one point to rely on guide written by other people.
If you a crypto lover, want solve some crypto mystery, and is good at it, go with it. If you are expecting a game leading you to the field, this is overkilling.
What I want to say is that if you are interested in getting started with cryptography, this game is a good choice, provided you have at least a basic knowledge of English（）。。。。。。。。。。。。sad

首先这是一个非常硬核的解密游戏，难度可以说还是挺大的，越到后面越难，游玩前请确认好自己是否真的喜欢这种高强度的解密，当然你如果能够独自好好的玩我觉得还是可以学到不少密码学上的东西，从人类开启密码的大门开始到如今的信息时代，当然还有奇奇怪怪的富有创意解密，都是挺吸引人去将其解开
bgm是古典音乐，这个就很好，比较让人放松放空脑子去深度思考，但是可惜数量少，要是古典音乐数量再丰富一点就好了
主题画面是亮白偏灰的空间，可能会比较亮眼，大家游玩之前可以先调下亮度

It's difficult to recommend a game which is basically just some cryptographic/steganographic CTF challenges with increasing difficulty. The fact that there are no in-game tools in order to automatize some things (just a copy/paste tool would be sufficient) made it boring to solve most of the challenges. I'm a little biased because I'm someone working in cryptography, but I cannot really recommend it. Play the other games of the developper tho, they are very cool!

I read in the reviews of this game saying that the first couple puzzles are quite easy, then they progressively harder as you go, until they become practically impossible. Now, I'm no ♥♥♥♥♥, so I gave it a go. After stepping into the first room and solving the very first puzzle lightning fast, I had hope. I moved on to the very next puzzle and immediately got stuck, had an aneurysm, and left the game after half an hour of feeling my ego diminish.
I later came back and solved most of the first room's puzzles, but this game if ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARD man... Or maybe I just suck balls at these types of puzzles...

Some reviews and comments point out that the game doesn't teach you and you need to do external homework, but that's simply not the case. There's explanations at the start of every segment, hints you can request, and a cheat sheet within every room giving you (minimal) need-to-know information with context that isn't always immediately obvious. I'm a bare beginner to cryptography and while some parts made me struggle, it was very much doable by being observant, patient, and experimenting a bit.
Would pick up another one of these in a heartbeat.

是个好游戏但是不太推荐给密码学发烧友以外的玩家，某种意义上这是我生涯玩过的最难游戏，当时大学期间和好兄弟一起玩了一部涉及一些密码学的视觉小说加上对于侦探小说的喜爱在打折期间买了这个游戏，结果光是第一个房间隐写术部分我就只能解出2个密码，最近通关了解密过程繁复的《FEZ》之后想起这个游戏重新捡起来在解题思路讲解中混了个全成就，全程为人类的加密智慧感叹，同时背景配的古典音乐也让人真的有种置身智慧殿堂的感觉，佩服能够独立解出后期谜题的人。
