Feels like the controls and menus are there more to slow you down than to help you out. Also, as a big and renowned chef whose empire literally crumbled, one year later you're doing pretzels and ice cream waffles in a van?? I get that it's supposed to be at least silly, but it's still not fun enough, at least for me.

Music is really good
Simply the best Cook, Serve, Delicious adventure, the epitome of the whole entire franchise. If you are looking to get into these games, you might as well start and end with this rendition - it really combines the best aspects of both predecessors thus creating a definitive Cook, Serve, Delicious experience.
I really enjoyed the first installment for its' innovative gameplay and the ability to strategize with the menu items used, finding your groove and realizing what foods you liked making. Furthermore, I praised the second installment for its' increased difficulty and challenge, while also forcing you to make foods you wouldn't touch in CSD1 and therefore learning how to master them and realizing they might have been better off from the get-go, which you just wouldn't experience in CSD1 as it wasn't necessary to 100% the game.
CSD3 simply combines what was best about both of the previous games. You get to strategize, pick your favorite foods and for the most part stick with them throughout the gameplay, until the game basically forces you to use at least one or two foods you wouldn't have put on your menu any other way - and you got to improvise and adapt at that point, thanks to the brilliant in-game mechanics.
I completed the game earning all gold medals in a much shorter time than CSD2, whilst feeling an equal level of challenge at the same time. This fact alone indicates that CSD3 really shines in its' own right, way above the prequels, surpassing them by quite a margin. The strategy aspect of CSD1 and the difficulty aspect of CSD2 combines in a perfect blend... To shape CSD3!
The animations, the functionality, the new foods, the UI, the art, the cutscenes and voice work, the gameplay directions and enhancements - every single aspect is elevated in CSD3 and I can't recommend the game enough.
And then - you get to the final stop on the World Tour and everything just falls into place transcending even further. You get to face unprecedented impressive challenges and the whole experience takes the last step to perfection - the Iron Cook Speedway is the ultimate CSD experience worth cherishing for the rest of your gaming career.
As a sidenote - the achievements in this game are outstanding, especially for a game completionist like myself... Simply marvelous, I stand in awe looking back at this game and applauding. Well done!
I didn't enjoy it but that doesn't mean you won't. This game is frantic and I expect it would take a few tries to properly get a handle on the typing mechanics needed to turn over dishes quickly. For me, the problem is that it's TOO fast, there's not really opportunity to breathe or enjoy anything. It feels very awkward to have 6 orders for the same thing but you're not allowd to use one of your empty prep slots to cook 4 at once, it forces you to cook them one at a time. I guess you could get into the rhythm of it, the soundtrack is awesome, but it's not for me.

纯点击/打字的做饭游戏，菜品很有意思，一开始也是被写实画风吸引，但是并不休闲，忙到起飞。我目前几个金牌完全靠鼠标在拿，当沙威玛玩了，打字的话实在是太忙了，或许可以作为脑手协调的练习，对键盘不熟练的不推荐玩，因为不可以选择难度。
总体没什么剧情，只有做菜，喜欢做饭烹饪游戏的可以入，菜品会有对应的科普简介，这点好评，但是游戏提示音真的很烦，上菜设计有点鸡肋，佛系全部玩一遍可能还行，追求金牌就是坐牢，推荐可以看社区里面大佬写的菜品分类，然后进行菜单选择，避免看外观选菜品结果开始之后手点到抽筋。游戏内涵LGBT和黑人元素（虽然只是餐车标识），介意的自行避雷。
差不多把菜品全部做一边我就跑路了。。。并不适合长期经营

I really love the previous two games in this series. Having stated that, this game is slightly different. I am really torn on if those differences are great or not. I do not love this game as much as the other two for sure. However I am far from dissatisfied in the end. The game play is similar enough to the other two that you still get the satisfaction and rush as the previous titles, but with new characters and a different setup. All together a solid game, and probably worth your time (and money) as a third installment in this series. Pretty art, good music, and similar mechanics.

Gameplay is challenging and rewarding, it's very satisfying to get all the orders out one after another, and to reach a flow state where you push through the frantic chaos of all the orders you must take out. The music and sound effects are amazing, the illustrations for the foods are mouth watering and the characters are very charismatic, with great voice acting to come with them too.
My personal favorite part is that you set up the menu for each day, so you basically get to decide how hard you wish to make things for yourself.
There's a chill mode too if you don't want to stress yourself out by the timers, but Standard is my way to go.
This game has one of the worst tutorials I've ever seen.

This game is fantastic. It is stressful, but also strangely relaxing at the exact same time. Your brain is forced to focus all it's output on the game, and (for me) that helps provides a much needed distraction and escape from the world and thoughts. When your in the flow state, knocking out perfect orders (to the amazing combo sound effects), and landing a perfect run, there is few greater feelings in the world.
Also huge props to Jonathon Geer on the soundtrack. It matches the game perfectly, and the vocal tracks are so well done.
you click on the gelato order. banana. green. you click spacebar a couple of times to get to the green menu. okay now where is banana. top right middle. click. oh no. your eyes widen and your stomach drops. in your hurry you accidentally clicked kiwi. you sit there in disbelief. you lie back in your chair. emptiness. the only button you can press now serves this customer the wrong gelato flavor, losing you the golden medal. those two stops you just completed were for nothing. all this effort. to lose to a simple misclick. why can't there be like a button to throw this one away and start a new one you reason. it's so STUPID. DAMNIT. a ball of anger forms in your stomach. after a few seconds it fades away. it doesn't matter at this point, you already messed up, and there isn't a button. you look back at your monitor and sigh as you press escape and restart the day.

The same CSD as the last two, but on the road since your place got completely wrecked, traveling across the states with the dream of being the greatest food truck out there in a world where Washington and Hawaii are part of Canada and Texas is what Trump wanted to do with Mexico. Also all the restaurants from the second game want to kick your ass, Mad Max style and make your job harder than it already is. In short, the same chaotic shenanigans the series is known for. The music and gameplay have been improved while still offering the hardcore challenge that makes each shift intense with the occasional breather level that makes the experience addictive. Like the prequels this a game that prefers keyboard over controller to get the full experience of what it means to work in a food truck, but with more people criticizing you for the simplest mistakes (The food industry is unforgiving; you either commit and succeed with satisfied customers or crash and burn at every angle). Overall, its a solid game in the series and worth it for the typing adventure of a food fueled road trip.

This game has the best story out of all of the CSD games. The gameplay is different, and it can be hard to get used to if you're used to playing the first two games (no side dishes, truck upgrades give you more patience, food truck attacks that can override your upgrades (in the Iron Cook Speedway)). However, I think this is my favorite CSD game. It's the only CSD game where I've felt like I'm actually working towards something rather than just playing to play. I like this one a lot.

I have played every game from this collection. Its a game that always has something happening, you have to be quick and precise. But considering all of that I find it to be a relaxing game, one just to sit down and enjoy playing.

Infuriating control scheme ruins an otherwise lovely game -- no button to cancel a botched order, leading to a confusing and frustrating experience when you're already down from messing up. Somehow, this is an intentional design.
There's about 30 keys you need to have actively in reach at any time, and there are certain items you need to randomly pause before you can use. Horrible design, and a waste of a good game concept.
Somewhat dubious that a family casual game has flag choices promoting LGBT & trans pride. The way a developer promotes sexual orientation like this is outside the common sense boundaries and should be regulated. The game itself feels like a tough grinding saga. Not a cooking game, but more like a typing game.

Fun game once you get used to the gameplay loop and the controls. You can practice with dishes as much as you like, kinda makes for a good time waster.
Diabolically addictive. This game has me by the throat. You will hear the chimes of a perfect score in your sleep, slapping burgers together behind your eyes while you mutter an incoherent string of letters and twiddle your fingers around like a man possessed.
The learning curve for this particular entry is a bit tough at first, but once you get it down, you will feel like a god among men. Easily the best $20 you will ever spend in your whole life.

如果你还没有接触过csd系列，那么这一作是可以买的。在以上这些成为问题之前，多次打磨的玩法和极佳的美术音乐可以让你沉浸一些时间。只是，在我看来，它本可以成为一个真正的餐厅经营游戏——成为一个既有类型上游的烹饪部分，又有标准店铺经营内容的强大的烹饪游戏，但是不知为何，制作组在这方面却似乎有点“走偏了”。制作组的下一步动作是重置csd初代，也是最有经营游戏模样的一代，看看到时成品如何吧。

This game massages my brain but also enrages me. In the BEST way.
Some of the most fun I've had playing a game recently. I love chaotic cooking games like Overcooked and PlateUp!, as well as typing games like Typing of the Dead and Glyphica: Typing Survival. CSD puts these together and it's like a buffet of all my favorite foods. I also love the absurdist humor in the food descriptions.

This game can get difficult pretty fast, but you can choose to play in chill mode, which almost turns the game in a cozy cooking trip, while still being able to progress through the story and unlock new areas.
The gameplay is a bit repetitive by nature, but thanks to the variety of dishes there is to master (with difficulty ranging from pressing a single button, to pressing so much keys it could have been this sentence), there's a lot to try and master.
The soundtrack is nice, and Whisk & Cleaver's dialogs are hilarious!
If you like typing games and/or restaurant/cooking games, this is a good game for you. It's mechanically satisfying, the music is good at hyping you up, and the voice acting and worldbuilding are very fun extra's to pull you into the world. Don't go in expecting a big story though.

This game is PEAK Cook, Serve, Delicious. 1&2 are great don't get me wrong, but 3 really takes the cake. I tried playing the 4th installment and I just could not get into it - it felt like they steered off the wrong path with that one. Cook Serve Delicious 3 has heart and soul, and the game mechanics are just so enjoyable you almost feel like you're actually in that moving truck making these delicious dishes for customers. Soundtrack is phenomenal and inspiring. I enjoy getting cross-eyed from having to track all these custom orders - you either rise up to the challenge or just quit the game there's no in-between. Highly addictive, blood rushing, cooking game.
Love this game. I wish they'd make 4, instead of remastering 1 (no one asked for it) and making a pointless boring version of the game. You know we all want CSD4, not some other crap...

It's the 3rd CSD and it keeps getting better, with more foods and food descriptions. Instead of reading mails, now you have these two robot girls making funny conversations. My favorite dialogue:
"Well chef, good job, couple of notes."
"My first note: i'm proud of you."
"That's a terrible note."
"It was a heartfelt note."
"That's why it's terrible."
They also added two significant gameplay elements, namely
1. truck upgrades, which mostly increases your holding station food parameters, like how long they last, how many per batch, etc.
2. the all-mighty serve-all button, which lets whisk/cleaver serve all orders that are ready. This is widely regarded as a good move.
The soundtrack is really good too, and I've added a lot of tracks to my video game music playlist.
I'd say there's one big problem in this game: food truck attacks can't be prevented in the last area. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense as you're playing to get these food truck upgrades, but then they get disabled in the most crucial final stages. You become a sitting duck. Where are whisk and cleaver now? Apparently shooting at the other trucks, but you don't hear any of it, except for the commentator talking about it.
Also, the game still doesn't give you details when you serve a wrong order.
All in all, CSD3 is a definitely fun game, and probably the best one in this series yet.
Incredibly challenging, but the beautiful and adrenaline pumping gameplay and music carry. Best songs in the series here imo, and the concept of food trucks attacking each other across war-torn America is EVERYTHING. Best game. Would 100% again and smile while getting carpal tunnel.

I personally enjoy the typing sim/ completing perfect orders/ time management. While it can definitely get pretty stressful at times, it's pretty rewarding to hit the all gold achievements. There's a lot of content for your buck imo. I do miss the 'chores' part of upkeeping the restaurant though.
I love the variety of foods that you can make and that there is a calm mode.

It's very good! And you can chose the speed so it's very good for me because I tend to like slower games and they have options to help with motion sickness so don't let that stop you from cooking!

This is my favourite CSD game. It's chaotic, hard and really fun. It's the only CSD game I've actually got all the achievements. 1 and 2 are fun games, but for me, 3 is just so much better. 9/10, rage inducing typing game

This game was so fun I got addicted and couldn't stop playing. I had purchased some cooking simulator game and it was so hard I stopped playing it. I was just browsing when this came up as a recommendation. It was on sale and so I thought why not. I started with low expectations but holy cow this game is so much fun. I have learned a lot playing this game and now I want to cook some of the foods I have never heard of. Reading the stories behind the food is interesting and humorous at times. You don't want to play on an empty stomach or when you just want to chillax because this is a timed game during each food truck stop. It's a lot cooler than I thought it would be. FIVE STARS - Highly recommend.

This is an improvement on the second game, but still doesn't capture the appeal of the first game to me. The food truck idea is a lot of fun, and it smoothed over some of the rough edges of the second. However, it still has a lot of the problems of the second game with respect to food variety and clunkier ingredient menu controls. The auto-serve button also kind of kills the serving gameplay, and while I could just not use it, the massive surges of orders make it necessary. The music is stellar however, and the game is still a lot of fun overall.
Feels like a 9 to 5 job. Love it!
I do recommend this game heavily if you like CSD games. I have played a lot of the first game and some of the second, but this really is the best iteration of the trillogy.

The game is fast paced but once you get the hang of it it gets fun, makes you feel like Gordon Ramsay except you're yelling at the fryers or customers

CSD 3 was a great experience to play fully co-op with my friend through steam remote play. He played controller running the holding stations and I played keyboard doing the left side orders. It was interesting to see points of difference on which foods were harder/easier to prepare for each of us and to work together when things went off the rails to try to save each other.
My biggest complaint would probably be that I just think it's unnecessarily long- especially if you played any of the previous entries because many keybinds and cooking processes are the same. It felt like it could have had about 70-100 ish of the 387 lvls cut and still gave us the same great experience IMO.
The other strange thing is that balance gets really lopsided especially when it comes to holding stations- late game we found HS rank 5 foods that were autoserve (sushi and tamales) easier than a 1 star that you have to serve. This kind of led to us always running autoserve foods since they ended up making levels flow better which limited variety. Just to give you an idea of how limiting I'm talking: on some maps, having all autoserve versus all non-autoserve could be 5x more time spent in the level (and tons more chances to mess up). I think they should have encouraged the HS foods that require further interaction give you more points or maybe less orders.
All in all I'm looking ahead at CSD forever and it doesn't really pique my interest so I think this is the end of the line for me :) Great trilogy and much love to the devs!
A great game. I like playing these type of games. Other suggestions are Overcooked 2. Very good game.

I was expecting something like the Papa's line of games but this is not it. I like cooking a lot, but this game doesn't really involve any cooking. Just mindless slamming at your keyboard. The controls are difficult to grasp, and the tutorial in the beginning tells you nothing. Anything you want to know, you have to figure out on your own at this point. I thought at least earning golden medals would be fun, but you can't even do that because suddenly your customer gives you the blue face instead of yellow. Why? No one knows, the game doesn't tell you. There's no feedback or help with the gameplay. Overall, waste of money, even when bought on sale...
If there is a menu reading function when the player chooses, I believe this is a great game for learning food English :D
