While a rather short game (a little over 2 hours for me), it is an enjoyable platform/puzzle game. I was only stuck once and had to use a walkthrough but most of the puzzles are straight forward. The platforming can be a bit of a struggle in a few places but not rage inducing. The story is cute. The main character is voiced well just wish the snail had a better voice (too child like but I guess that is what they were going for). The music matches the game. The graphics have a nice warm feel and at least they are not pixel art (which is so over done now).

Since it is a very short game, get it on a deep discount or part of a bundle and enjoy the brief experience.

Игра не доделана. Весь геймплей занимает примерно час и в конце вы просто получите уведомление о том, что "следите за обновлениями новых приключений". Ни финальных титров после победы над главгадом, ни какого-либо завершения истории. А учитывая что последнее обновление игры было больше года назад - продолжения ждать явно не придётся. Впрочем, своих 25 рублей (по скидке) она может и стоит

This is a rather short puzzle-platformer, able to be beaten in around 1.5-2 hours depending on puzzling and platforming experience. What you get for that time is a pretty unique blend of puzzles featuring time stopping, past/future swapping, and controlling multiple characters. It also has good dialogue and a great ambiance. The story is a bit by-the-numbers, but that's to be expected given how short it is, and is definitely far better than many other platformers with almost no story to speak of.

The platforming of this game isn't very difficult, with time stopping and other puzzle elements taking priority over hand-eye coordination. Put differently, this is a game about puzzle solving not platformer timing.

Due to the short playtime, I would have marked this game down if it cost more, but $5 seems like right about the right price for the amount of game you get. As such, I can heartily recommend it.

I can't recommend this game. Its not that its bad, its just not worth your time.

The game tries to do too much, giving you access to two characters, two different time mechanics and multiple ways of movement. Despite this, most puzzles rarely require more than extensive use of maybe one of them, meaning you feel underwhelmed by the solution. Other times, there's an obtuse answer where a random background element must be interacted with and you had no idea you even could and doesn't use any of your special abilities.

If the ending was strong or it was technically sounds, I could forgive the weak game play, but it was prone to crashing, soft locking and the ending was an anti-climax.

Sus mecánicas se basan en cuanto al Inventor en alterar el tiempo presente y fútuto y Caracol es pausar el tiempo pero con estas dos habilidades hay bastantes puzzles, algunos algo complicados, otros con estilo platafoemero y unos cuantos más en objetos ocultos que debemos. creando un gamepolay bastante entretenido.

В уже далёком 2019 году прикупил я себе "Chronology" по скидке, но лишь в 2025 году прошёл её. И честно говоря, эта игра вызвала у меня всё же смешанные чувства.

С одной стороны, тут очень милый дизайн уровней и персонажей; на механике изменения времени строятся все загадки и уровни (причём у 2-ух играбельных персонажей она по-разному исполнена), и проходятся они с интересом, причём на парочке мест мне приходилось думать усерднее. Да и проходится она почти за 3 часа, и за такое непродолжительное время она не успевает сильно надоесть.

Но с другой, здесь есть пара серьёзных недочётов, которые сильно портят впечатление:

[*]Последний уровень получился уж больно блеклым: по сюжету у главного героя отнимают все способности, он встречает своего врага, по логике должна быть яркая развязка... А по итогу, сам уровень проходится как обычный платформер, загадок - 2-3 штуки, а так называемого боссфайта не случается, т.к. нашего врага побеждают в катсцене. Ну и неудовлетворение окончанием игры усиливается следующим пунктом.

[*]Сюжет заканчивается на клиффхенгере: да, мы побеждаем финального босса, но финальных титров нет (их можно посмотреть только в меню), т.к. дальше идёт уровень с вопросительным знаком, и при попытке его активации вылезает плашка со словами по типу "Это не конец, ждите новых приключений"... А окончания так и не видать, даже спустя 11 лет после релиза. Да и сама история на некоторые вопросы так и не ответила: [spoiler]как именно наш гг создал машину времени? почему наставник нас предал (а то в одну корысть я не особо верю)? а что случилось с тем правителем Метрополиса, который был в сговоре с наставником? и почему в Метрополисе карантинный режим?[/spoiler]

[*]Техническая сторона здесь внезапно так себе: у игры почему-то загрузки между уровнями становятся слишком долгими. Как оказалось, у игры проблемы с полноэкранным режимом, и поэтому загрузки будто останавливаются. Единственная панацея - на время включать оконный режим (я просто нажимал на кнопку "win"), загрузка заканчивается, и также через ту же кнопку возвращаться обратно в игру.

В итоге, "Chronology" получилась средней игрой, но несмотря на фактическую (или частичную, хз) незаконченность игры, я лично всё же получил удовольствие от игры: проходится она быстро и не успевает так сильно надоесть, а слабые стороны начинают выявляться уже ближе к концу игры.

Основна фішка полягає в перемиканні між минулим і майбутнім, що змінює навколишній світ у реальному часі.
І хоча гра коротка (проходиться за 2–3 години), вона залишає по собі приємне враження завдяки атмосфері, музиці та нестандартному підходу до рівнів.

[spoiler] Ми граємо за Старого Винахідника, який прокидається у зруйнованому майбутньому. Світ впав у хаос, і тепер, за допомогою чарівного годинника, він повинен відновити хід подій і запобігти катастрофі. Пізніше до нього приєднується равлик, який теж має унікальні здібності — зупиняти час. [/spoiler]
Сюжет подається фрагментами, більше як казка, ніж серйозна історія. Тут є мораль, легкий філософський підтекст про наслідки людських рішень і роль науки.
[b]Атмосфера[/b] — це щось середнє між Machinarium і Pixar-мультфільмом. Яскраві кольори, мальований світ, трохи стимпанку, трохи магії. Все виглядає затишно й по-дитячому щиро, але з ноткою меланхолії.
[h3]Геймплей[/h3]
Гра — це класичний 2D-платформер з головоломками. Але основна механіка — це керування часом. ми можемо перемикатися між минулим і майбутнім, змінюючи тим самим оточення:

🔹 У майбутньому все руйнується, але відкриваються нові шляхи.[/spoiler]
Крім того, у нас є напарник — [spoiler]Равлик.[/spoiler] Ним також можна керувати, щоб активувати важелі або заморожувати час для точного переміщення, та інші можливості
Завдання не надто складні, але достатньо креативні. Механіка «два часи — одна реальність» використовується майже в кожному завданні, що змушує мислити нестандартно.
[h3]Графіка та звук[/h3]
Гра має мальовану 2D-графіку, що виглядає тепло й виразно. Персонажі анімовані мило, кольори живі, а зміни в локаціях при перемиканні часу виглядають плавно й ефектно.

[b]Звуковий супровід[/b] — приємний, спокійний, казковий. Саундтрек ненав’язливий, але атмосферний. Озвучка мінімальна, але актор, який говорить голосом Старого, додає шарму всій історії.

A game from my childhood, a brainteaser with a plot and a cool concept with time travel, does not get boring, generally not difficult, but sometimes it is not clear what and where to do. The game has nice drawing style nice music, some players feel nostalgia. The plot is completed in 2 hours. I recommend it as a game for a pleasant evening😊👍(but I would still like a continuation or a second part)

The art is really cute, The final frame of the jump is annoying since it stops the character from moving for a brief second. I locked myself in the first area of the game with an envil and a guard, not knowing what I had to do, the envil couldn't be dropped on the guard and there was no indication of other possible actions. I love the time travelling mechanic and the environmental puzzles but I'm not sure I can recomend the game.

Якби цю гру доробили й пофіксили баги - була б чудова іграшка на вечір, бо мальовка приємна, персонажі забавні. Особливо равлик, який може приймати душ з відходів, зупиняти час й читати нотаціїї головному герою на тему "як же ж ти докотився до такого життя". Граємо за вусатого британсько-турецького вченого, який хоче завадити іншому вченому зруйнувати світ. Але іграшка постійно вилітає, щоб щось завантажити - треба обережно натиснути кнопку "вінди" на клаві. Вилітає зазвичай в кінці або на початку рівня, тому прогрес не губиться. Але напрягає. Плюс якщо необережно покласти одну річ, біля іншої й намагатися взаємодіяти - вибирається тільки одна з цих речей й хоч з бубнами танцюй.
Якщо й брати то за велику знижку.
Й української мови, нажаль, немає.

------

Ich habe das Spiel im Rahmen meines Indiegametages vorgestellt und war sofort positiv angetan. Es gab 1-2 Stellen, bei denen ich mir schon die Haare raufen wollte, da ich die Lösung, die direkt vor mir lag, nicht gesehen habe. Der Rest war zwar ebenfalls fordernd, aber gut gemacht.

Die Idee, die Vergangenheit und die Zukunft zu nutzen, ist zugegeben nicht neu, aber sie wurde sehr gut umgesetzt. Manchmal muss man auch zweimal hinschauen, um überhaupt eine Lösung zu finden. Außerdem muss man die teils doch extrem nervige Schnecke einfach liebhaben.

Неплохая и вполне интересная головоломка-платформер, которая звёзд с неба не хватает, но и уснуть в процессе игры тоже не даст.
Плюсы:
1. Приятная картинка
2. Замечательная музыка
3. Интересная механика головоломок, завязанная на перемещении во времени.
Минус пожалуй один - коротенькая и без продолжения.
Со скидкой за 25 рублей, вполне можно купить, и провести парочку уютных вечеров.

Me parece que el como se explora la subjetividad de cada mundo presentado en esta película es posiblemente lo mejor de la misma. Christopher Nolan, nos regala un mundo aunque muy complejo siempre interesante. Siempre con ese sello de calidad que este director posee. Donde aunque si te distraes le puedes perder la pista a la película, la misma se encarga de dejarte el desarrollo claro en escenas explicativas. El como los personajes se desarrollan en la trama es muy interesante. Teniendo el conflicto interno de cada uno de ellos expuesto en la trama, ya que la película se apoya de ellos para llegar al punto climático de la cinta, la película se basa completamente de las emociones de los personajes; ya sea como el personaje de Leonardo Di Caprio se embarca en esta película por recuperar a sus hijos o como el personaje de Ken Watanabe se embarca en un propósito igualmente personal; La estructura de esta película se hace fuerte en la profundización de personajes. Los efectos especiales de esta película me volaron la cabeza; solo cabe ver en detrás de cámara de la escena del pasillo para notar que estamos ante una película totalmente diferente.
