Chorus is quite possibly the worst offender of an awesome game that was so poorly marketed no one knows about it. I know spaceship games are niche, and even "nicherer" when the game is not economy/mercenary-based. A spaceship game where the focus is on the story and character development? In this economy? It's different, and I am all up for it!

I didn't even know it was a spaceship game, I thought it was some RPG with space elements or something. I don't even remember purchasing it. Where did it come from? Why is it in my library? What is this game about? Not a big fan of Deep Silver due to their paid exclusivity shenanigans with EGS, but yea sure somehow I have it so let's try it!

Yet, the plan was to open it, play for a few minutes, hate it, and never touch it again, so how come I've played it for almost 30 hours and completed all achievements? Well, that's because the damn thing is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ competent on everything.

This is a tale about a crazy cultist that got tired of being a crazy cultist after blowing up a whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ planet and neglecting his AI friend that is actually a spaceship for 7 years. And that is the worst resumé I could make for the story. The AI is a good friend, and watching their bond grow from distrust to a diamond friendship was pretty fun. Writing can be a little hit or miss, Nara keeps "thinking," and I am not sure how I feel about it. Forsa is the edge boy, but he's a dark and red spaceship, he has the poetic license to be edgy.

The star (hehe star) of the show is definitely the gameplay. So many unique mechanics, so much fun with the rites (which are basically power-ups for crazy cultists), and a lot of different weapons with 3 different categories. Enemy variety is not too shabby either, with even some large ships that you have to fly INSIDE to ruin their reactors (or whatever). Also, you can DRIFT with your ship, keeping the momentum going in the original direction, yet you can turn your vessel in different directions. THIS IS A 5 STAR MECHANIC. It was pretty hard to understand at first, but once it clicked, I used it all the time. It is pretty hard to be bored playing Chorus, if that happened to you, it's most likely your fault. You can drift, in space, bro.

Graphically, this is a stunning game, it even has some well implemented ray tracing, believe it or not. There are 6-ish "open world" maps for exploration, with quite a few side quests and some random encounters that are mostly 1 or 2 minutes maximum, and the quality of the quests and encounters vary. After you're rich it kinda loses it's functionality. Performance was rock solid, It was pretty rare for the FPS to drop, mostly when I was inside hangars (due to ray tracing most likely) or at the last battle where ♥♥♥♥ hit the fan.

Also, if you've tried the demo, forget it, the demo does not represent how great this game feels to play.

This game does some wild things, it is risky. Every new weapon can dramatically change how you fight, how you position yourself, and how you use your Rites. This can be a very complex game, depending on how much time you're willing to shed. Started thinking this was one of the hardest games ever, after 28 hours, I am a murdering machine that can make spaceships turn to spacedust.

Chorus is a great game, somehow, people don't know it. If you are on the fence, you should DEFINITELY give this one a shot. It deserves it. Drift fast, hit hard,[b] in Chorus. [/b]

If you ever wanted to play a game again that's just a game without needless noise, this is one. Relatively unpolished cutscenes, just like the games of 20 years ago and of course, a pretty solid gameplay. Pretty similar to Yager in how it feels to play, open world instead of the mission based gameplay. You get basic progression with a minimal choice in upgrades. Repeating random encounters, basic side quests for slightly better gear. The controls and handling feels good, gameplay mechanics are stretched a bit too thin in the final fight. Performance was flawless on my PC. This was an average game I was happy to play.

Game's pretty fun and plays well on Deck.

Pretty straightforward space shooter. Combat is neat. Openness of the zones struggle because they're pretty empty and random encounters are super repetitive.

Some of the achievements are grindy but I probably could have gotten them just playing through.

Es uno de esos juegos que no esperas nada y que compras cuando estan en oferta por que te llama la atención la portada o ves algo que enciende la chispa y te termina sorprendiendo para bien.

La historia es interesante, el gameplay es divertido y adictivo, quizás algo repetitivo y con una dificultad un tanto elevada pero en un mundo donde los juegos tratan al jugador como un inepto eso se agradece.

今年玩过的最爽，手感最好的爽游!
在这之前本人对星战打飞机类毫无兴趣，起初是被音乐和封面过于精致的星际场景吸引的，于是去打了demo，然后果断就入手了。
首先是操作简单，键鼠的控制设置非常顺手，在度过了短暂的晕3d阶段(起初到处飞真的很晕hhhh)就彻底迷失在迷幻漂移和各种仪式的爽感中了，起初根本搞不来漂移一直撞墙，然后再到一次漂移横扫一排，操作手感好枪械手感好仪式更是爽上加爽，唯一有点难度的地方是大结局boss要打巨久巨憋屈，然后打过了有超爽超爽的最终形态一下子就把那股郁闷排解了。
主线剧情没什么亮点不过完整度很高，支线剧情挺多的也不无聊蛮有意思，支线帮过的人之后也会来帮你，一周目全推下来30h左右，隔壁十块左右，体验真的太爽了，强推!

Don't play it, don't waste your time. I played through it once because I normally want to finish games, but I was more than once close to just deinstalling.
If you played Freelancer or Darkstar One, skip this. You will only be disappointed.

It has nice graphics and a good sound design. But that was mostly it. Combat because of the drifting can be ok at times, but only because you often enough have like 10 enemies around you constantly shooting.

In every aspect you only have the bare minimum or even less.
1. Economy: not existent. You can buy two or three weapons for each of the 3 weapon types that are somehow different, but it doesn't matter. You can't sell unused items, not that it really matters because they dont affect you much. So I ignored it at some point.
2. Side quests can be ignored
3. Voice acting was annoying from the start, emotionless, irrelevant.
4. Story also irrelevant, through the bad voice acting even worse, characters are shallow, there is never a real connection to even one of them.
5. Lifeless sectors. There isn't much to fly to as a whole, the sector themselves had enough points of interests, but also most of them irrelevant.
6. Enemy variety was fine to be honest
7. These god awful temples with their awful tunnels that you have to fly through were so hardcore annoying, even the bossfight had that ♥♥♥♥ in it that motivated me to nearly quit. Who came up with the idea of thinking flying in tight spaces is fun when you bounce of every surface until you die?
8. Ship design was fine, also the change in form for drifting. But after your starting ship you immediately get your only ship with its AI and that's it. Storywise ok, but boring.
9. Technically I it when she talked to herself, but why in hell does it have to be whispering loudly? Why? It's annoying, unnecessary.

Fantastic space fighter game!

Pros:
- Story is good
- combat is amazing
- Intro screen music was a banger lol
- Graphics are great too
- Performance is good, no fps hiccups for me at all

Cons:
- There's a boss that was epicly annoying.. you'll know when you get there. I would get "lost in space" so much that I had to use restart from checkpoint to get orientated towards what I was supposed to deal with.
- Some fights are in such confined areas (like the above boss) that they can be frustrating and annoying

Chorus is an action game that focuses on flying a ship through space and completing missions assigned to you by NPCs. Overall, the concept and execution are good, but the problem lies in the controls. They're definitely not great. It might seem great at first, but the more you play, the more you see how problematic they can sometimes be. The story is really good—I'd even say quite dark. The game is also stable and doesn't have any major issues. My only real complaint is why the controls are so terrible, but despite this, I still rate it positively. Would I recommend it? I'm not sure if I can or shouldn't. On the one hand, I really enjoyed it, but on the other, the controls were so tedious it's hard to describe.

Technically speaking, Chorus is a good game, but it lacks variety and an engaging narrative, and in my opinion, it has virtually no replay value. There is no German dubbing, which given the abundance of dialogue, even during flights is just as annoying as the protagonist’s constant soliloquies. The side missions are half-hearted and serve more as filler than as something to discover. You’re constantly completing the same types of tasks, which significantly dampens the fun after a short time, so I skipped them. In the end, the sleek graphics are all the game has to offer. I also found it frustrating until I really understood the controls and mechanics and had them somewhat under control. After a while, it felt more like a waste of time than fun. That’s why I stopped playing; it just doesn’t seem to be my thing.

It's a quite pretty, cinematic movie made from lots of cutscenes, and very occasionally you get to fly a spaceship. Sigh. Except every few minutes you get interrupted again with a popup telling you something worthless or some other immersion-breaking annoyance. Thank goodness I eventually figured out how to skip the cut-scenes, at least. The voice-acting is better than many such offerings, though the actual dialog those poor actors are forced to record is the usual standard of awfulness, and I feel bad for them - they gave it their best.

Then there is the navigation. Oh boy. Rant incoming, brace yourselves. The navigation. Obstacle-filled 3D space (exactly where you would build space stations, right?) makes it easy to get disoriented with full three-axis freedom. But you can just press the [magic-psychic-reveal-the-stuff-around-me-skill] button (I can't honestly remember the stupid name - or even stupider backstory - they gave it, but that what it does). Except it reveals EVERYTHING around you, out to tens of kilometres. Want to figure out where in 3D space that nearby thing you're actually looking for might be? Good luck sorting through the fifty hits you get when you ping targets of interest.

Then there's the quest management system. Every few seconds as you fly, you'll run past/through some other little event or side-quest or point of interest, usually triggereing some voiceover that plays a few seconds AFTER you've zipped past it and lost track of which of the innumerable indicators it might have been, but you can't track any of those side-quests because you're ALWAYS on the main quest, and - incredibly, and apparently BY DESIGN - you can't track anything else but the main quest when you're on the main quest. Which is always. It's just so *&@*!%#! annoying.

And seriously, why? It would be so easy to make this otherwise quite enjoyable space-dogfight game totally enjoyable. Here's how: Implement a proper quest tracking system, and give an option to highlight the current quest on the HUD. Let players freely chose the active quest, even if they'd like that to be a side-quest (gasp!) Add some sort of filter (even just distance) for all the junk that pops up when you use your space-spidey-senses. And for pity's sake, shut up with all the intrusive annoying voiceovers. I cannot understand how all the devs out there don't get this, but here's the naked truth devs: your dialogue is banal. Always. Your story is nonsensical. Always. The voice acting is overwrought. And nobody is incliined to pay any attention to any of the stuff you're so desperately trying to cram down their earholes anyway. So just save youself a all those thousand dollars and STOP DOING IT. Guess why people want to play a space dogfighter sim... could it be... do ya' think just maybe... to fly around in space having dogfights? Maybe let them get on with doing that, then, huh? Sheesh.

That said, the dogfighting is pretty fun. Annoyances aside, if you're patience is greater than mine and your threshold for frustration higher, if you plug your ears, look away for the unskippable guff, and find that SKIP button for everything skippable that isn't the game you want to be playing, and just... you know... play the game, then you might well enjoy that part. I did. It just feels like a small part of what you paid money to get, which is mind-blowing. Also, why the physics of spaceflight are essentially a very simplified "arcade style" version of the physics of atmospheric flight is something you'd have to ask the devs. If they'll shut up with the intrusive tedious voice-overs for five seconds. OK, I'm done now.

Chorus hat mich maßlos enttäuscht und ich finde es überaus schade, dass es so ist.

Die deutschen Kollegen von Deep Sliver Fishlabs, haben normalerweise ein Händchen für tolle Sci-Fi Action gehabt.
Früher war Galaxy on Fire 2, das Spiel der Wahl auf Mobilgeräten für mich. Solche Qualitäten habe ich von Chorus erwartet.

Kein Triple A Monster oder gigantische Cinematic Cutscenes und Open Worlds.

Trotz dessen war es eine Qual diese 4 Stunden hinter mich zu bringen und danach das Spiel endgültig fallen zulassen.

Aber erstmal zum Positiven:

Die Schiffssteuerung, insbesondere das Driften sind gut gelungen. Das macht sehr viel Spaß zu nutzen. Auch zusammen mit den Fähigkeiten, die den Raumschiffkämpfen etwas Abwechslung bieten.
...
Das war es auch schon.

Kommen wir nun zum Negativen:

-Die Story
Unglaublich langweilig, die Dialoge zum Teil sehr eintönig und geben dem Ganzen kaum Charakter. Es wird mehr nerviges "Nebengebrabbel", als das es mich wirklich interessiert. Was schade ist, weil besonders darin die große Stärke hätte liegen können. Jedoch sind besonders die Monologe, das KI Schiff und die Hauptprotagonistin so tief entwickelt, wie die Dicke eines Blatt Papiers.

-Die Welt
Genau der Grund warum es mich nicht interessiert. Nichts Besonderes, auch nichts Schönes zum ansehen. Nur gepflastert mit irgendwelchen nichts sagenden Nebenaufgaben, Rennen und sonstigen Collectibles.
Und vor allen Dingen:
Warum muss es solch eine Art Open World sein???
Wäre das Spiel eine lineare Erfahrung gewesen, wäre es Meilen besser!!

-Das User Interface
Das hat mich besonders geärgert, die UI ist so schlecht zum Lokalisieren von Sammelgegenständen in zum Beispiel Quests, dass ich zum Teil richtig sauer wurde. Allgemein Schlecht zu erkennen oder Symbole werden einfach nicht angezeigt, da man sie ja mit seinem "siebten Sinn" wahrnehmen soll. Als wenn das Einsammeln nicht schon nervig genug wäre.

-Die Raumkämpfe
Durch die ganzen vorigen Punkte machen die Raumkämpfe automatisch weniger Spaß, obwohl genau das einigermaßen gut gelungen ist. Bei ein, zwei Missionen fand ich den Schwierigkeitsgrad überraschend variierend und das hatte mir nach mehrmaligen Scheitern auch den letzten Rest Spielspaß geraubt.

Am Ende muss ich sagen, fiel es mir überraschend leicht das Spiel fallenzulassen und meine kostbare Zeit mit anderen Spielen zu verbringen.
Es wird aber bestimmt Menschen geben, die hiermit Spaß haben werden. Wie an den Rezensionen zu erkennen. Das freut mich für diese Personen, wirklich!

Aber leider ist Chorus nichts für mich.

[h2] It's more of an action adventure than a space game [/h2]

The game is extremely linear which is both good and bad for what it offers. On one hand, the plot is the weakest point and sadly, the game puts most of its focus on just that - the story. On the other hand, the gameplay doesn't outstay its welcome considering the scarcity of available content. Combat is not bad. But throughtout the campaign, there are ONLY TWO ships (fighter class) that you get to fly, with very minimal options for customization. It's bascially the same ship with a forced reskin and better controls/stats. The skills or rites were fun to use though.

It took me ~31hrs to get all the achievements. Overall, 7/10!

这个结局让我想到星球大战正传把银河帝国终结时的那种普天同庆的氛围

The combat is probably the best in the genre. The story and side-stories while slow to get running are good enough to keep you pushing towards the end.

Extreme difficulty is very inconsistent though, easy everywhere some of the boss fights, but at least you can dial it down to hard or lower if needed to proceed. Though anything lower than Extreme difficulty was kinda too easy, especially when you're always fully upgraded.

I fully recommend the game though, the 20 hours you'll get out of it are a lot of fun.

Wouldn't call this space combat. More like air combat without ground.
Story is interesting, though it feels likes it's dragging at times.
General play between story elements is largely boring and repetitive. Some of the larger story battles are where the fun is at and those are few and far between.
Powers are cool, though a bit limited.
With few exceptions, ship equipment isn't very impactful.
Visuals and smoothness of gameplay are excellent.

Pick it up on sale when you get the chance. It had a lot of potential, but really feels like it fell short.

Eres: Sinead o'Connor del espacio, tu misión: derrotar al papa del espacio, tu único amigo: una nave parlanchina con cero onda y actitud emo.

Excelente juego de combate de naves en 3D con hermosos escenarios del espacio y un control que se siente muy satisfactorio. Tiene un esquema de mundo semi-abierto en donde podés viajar libremente por el mapa e ingresar a las misiones marcadas en puntos específicos. Hay misiones principales y secundarias, y como todo mundo abierto tiene esas misiones random opcionales que saltan en el mapa pero al cabo de un tiempo se vuelven repetitivas y las ignoras.

Creo que el único punto negativo es que al principio son poco intuitivos los controles, si ya jugaste a otros juegos similares te va a chocar el esquema, pero una vez que les cazas la onda se vuelven muy naturales.

Tuve muchas batallas épicas y me divertí agarrando las mejoras para hacer cada vez más poderosa a mi nave. Cuanto más avanzas mejor y más desafiante se pone.

Better than I expected. The game play is fun and once you get the hang of it, satisfying.
Initially I was completely uninterested in the story, going so far as to skip the opening scenes as I was in the mood to do some space dogfighting and not much else. But the story progression in-game has hooked me and now I regret not paying attention to the introductions.

There are a few bugs, but nothing game breaking or any worse than the smallest of inconveniences. I like the method for finding side quests, but it could use a few tweaks.

The game play is good, the story compelling, the visuals are beautiful, and I feel it is well worth your attention and time.

Chorus is a third-person alien space shooter, and is an absolutely gorgeous game. I've been playing it on ultra settings and 120 fps and it feel very well optimized, runs great and looks great in general. The gameplay, where you control a sentient ship, is very well done. Ship controls are amazing once you get the hang of it, it's fast-paced and action packed with some story segments that are put altogether in a beautiful package. Story is alright, it will take some time to get immersed into the universe, and is very polarizing in a way that you'll either like or absolutely hate everything. It just feels like they ran out of money when they were making this and tried to cut corners wherever possible and it definitely shows. Nara is a solid main character, and she seems very interesting as the story unfolds. All-in-all it's a good game that could've been a great one, but it just didn't completely fullfill the expectations.

A great space combat game with smooth maneuverability and some creative additions to standard dogfighting. Making for some very fun battles.

Wrapped in, what on the surface would be a simple story of redemption. Beneath however, it's a trialing journey of what one must overcome within to achieve full harmony with oneself in order to achieve full potential.
Which makes for an enjoyable added spin on what you would expect...

Overall, even with some ability to freeroam, it's straightforward enough and neither too long nor too short.
Making for a nice quick fix for any of the above.

And if you do not expect of it something that it's not trying to be, you'll appreciate it's ''simplicity'' that much more.
Personally, it gave me a bit of a throwback to some old school ''Galaga'' and the like...
It's a nice little hidden gem, if you will, and definitely worth trying out.

Leider kann ich es nicht empfehlen:
Auch wenn die Kämpfe doch recht Spaß machen, so sind diese meist sehr kurz und einfach, Kämpfe gegen "Bosse" dagegen recht schwer.
Zwischen den Kämpfen sehr viel Story die aber leider nicht sonderlich spannend ist. Die inneren Monologe des Spielecharakters und Dialoge mit dem "lebendem" Schiff nerven irgendwann doch etwas.

Das ganze Spiel wirkt ein wenig wie eine Beta die noch etwas ausgearbeitet werden muss. Für ein Fünfer in Ordnung, aber mehr nicht.

Too much babbling to tell a story that isn't great. Controls are limiting to accomodate "drifting" which ended up being pretty clumsy. Too much bloom and neon jizz makes everything hard to pick out which gets annoying during battlles. It wasn't terrible, but I'd rather have my time back.

⭐ “Chorus” – Reseña de alguien que descubrió que hablar con su nave es más terapéutico que hablar con personas ⭐

Entré a Chorus esperando un shooter espacial normalito.
Salí con una relación emocional complicada con una nave que me habla, un trauma intergaláctico y la sensación de que acabo de protagonizar una ópera espacial dirigida por alguien que desayuna rayos láser.

Pilotar a Forsa es tan suave que parece que el juego te está diciendo:
“Tranquilo, tú solo fluye… y destruye absolutamente todo lo que se mueva”.
Y yo, obediente.

Cosas que me pasaron jugando:

- Hice maniobras tan espectaculares que pensé en enviar mi currículum a la NASA.
- Luego me estampé contra un asteroide y recordé quién soy.
- Descubrí que Nara tiene más traumas que yo, y aun así pilota mejor.
- Me enamoré del Drift. No del movimiento: del concepto. Quiero hacer Drift hasta para entrar a la cocina.

El combate es una coreografía de disparos, teletransportes, giros imposibles y decisiones impulsivas que milagrosamente salen bien.
Cada batalla parece una escena final de película, pero sin los créditos para descansar.

La historia mezcla culpa, redención, sectas espaciales y poderes místicos que te hacen sentir como si fueras un Jedi con ansiedad.
Y funciona. Vaya si funciona.

Los escenarios son preciosos: nebulosas, estaciones gigantes, ruinas cósmicas… todo con un estilo que grita “haz una captura, venga, otra más, no pasa nada”.

Veredicto final:
8/10. Una sinfonía espacial de acción, estilo y redención.
Si esta reseña no gana un premio, que al menos me den una nave que hable conmigo.

Скоростные бои, динамическая система, заимствованная со слешеров, космический ужас, являющийся воплощением зла в человеке, неплохой сюжет… И…. И зашкаливающие уровни повесточки, выжигающие мозг похлеще всех Безликих, и скачки кривизны геймплея, от которых ты не понимаешь, как до этого могли додуматься в финальной версии.
И игра реально хороша во всем, но вот эти два момента просто ставят на ней крест. Поэтому, если очень хочется, то ждите распродажи, или покупайте в известных местах.

Графика. Довольно неплохая, хотя местами вылетает мыло на эпических настройках, будто половину графики рисовали хорошо, а половину после дедлайна с апскейлом после. Мир в общем выглядит красиво, красочно для 2021г.

Музыка. Тоже хорошо, главная тема меню хороша, но в самой игре эмбиент слабоват, в бою музон просто не заметен, просто не до него.

Мир. Выглядит в общем хорошо, но местами как-то притянуто и сшито. Терминалы доступа для кораблей, цветастые вывески в космосе.. В общем, будто киберпанк РПГ портировали в космос.

Управление. К нему сложно привыкнуть сначала, оно прямо бесит, потому что это не управление обычных космолеталок. А скорее слешера в трёхмерном движении во все стороны. Но потом оно оказывается довольно хорошим.

Сюжет. В принципе хорош, не сказать, что говорит радикально новые вещи, но и не слишком тупая копи-паста. Местами с пафосностью перебрали, особенно под конец, выглядит так себе.

Геймплей. Сама игра не сложная, в принципе, после доли прокачки и понимания управления играется на Экстриме без сильной сложности. У геймплея свои особенности, это не космолеталка как таковая, это космослешер, дрифты, смены направлений, скиллы, все это реально интересно и ново. Оборудование имеет свои комбо-сеты, вполне адаптирующие геймплей, и несколько из них точно используются в определенное время. Но не все.
А потом наступают моменты и ты скручиваешь сложность в Среднюю, ведь играть НЕВОЗМОЖНО, и все равно перепроходишь несколько раз. А те, кто играют изначально на средней или легкой, им куда скручивать? Кто додумался игру на скорость и свободный полет, резко ужасть в тесную коробку, добавить туда лазеры, препятствия, барьеры, больше самонаводящихся лазеров, еще поверх врагов и босса. А еще забрать у игрока всю прокачку, скиллы и прочее, ведь там они, по сути, бесполезны. И посчитать, что это будет интересно? Нет, это не интересно, это выглядит просто тупо, как натянутая сложность с ничего, где тебе вместо босса/челленджа дали просто чрезмерный набор палок в ноги, думая, что чем больше--тем лучше будет. Нет лучше не стало.

Повесточка. Ну… Если с середины игры еще нормально/балансно. То в начале это КОШМАР. Все мужские персонажи тряпки, плаксы, предатели, истерички, все женские воительницы, героини и вообще топ. Это настолько карикатурно, что уже тупо. Я не знаю, советовался ли разработчик со Свит бейби инк, но от этого просто тошнит. И речь не в сильной героине, она отлично вписывается, или в чем-то, речь в карикатурности пропаганды тут.

В общем обидно, что эти два реально глупых момента испортили игру по итогу.

The story is just some space religious mumbo jumbo about some cult trying to indoctrinate people and I didnt care much for it. But the gameplay is real fun, especially once you unlock additional weapons for your space jet and new abilities to deal with enemies. Then the space dogfights become super exciting and satisfying (also kinda chaotic): Good arcade space shooter that also looks nice.

很不错的模拟飞机驾驶的空战游戏，背景还是科幻太空，可以说是山寨版科幻《皇牌空战》。
游戏的剧情并不复杂，主角是一位叛逃出邪教的女飞行员。通过不断提升自己和飞机的能力，最终将邪教颠覆的故事。邪教本身其实并不坏，只是先前的大先知因为过度追求力量破坏了和谐教义。
游戏的优点：
1.画面还行。画面体现出了太空的空旷感，主角一个人在太空中孤单的飞行，一个人的星际旅行。几个星系也各有特色，乱石、冰冻、都市。
游戏的主要缺点：
1.女主角太丑。剃个军训头，长得像个男人还是黑皮。这么丑的女主角，还动不动给近景，脏眼睛。
2.游戏难度极大。强烈不推荐任何晕3D的玩家。本人选的普通难度，敌人的飞机还是漫天乱窜，随便一发攻击就能打穿护盾。飞船就算升了级，后期挨3下攻击基本就爆。敌人的攻击全程锁定，而你的机关枪、激光、导弹都需要锁定时间才能命中。这导致你只能不停的使用异能，比如追尾、清空护盾、冲刺、投掷等。游戏也鼓励你使用异能，直接将敌机的护盾清空后秒杀，不过这么做，已经不是传统意义上的飞行射击游戏了。
3.游戏引导不佳。游戏存在大量的支线，你可以不做支线通关，但是很多套装只有支线奖励才能得到。商店售卖的武器和装备都不是套装。所以为了降低通关难度，支线是必须做的。但是游戏地图没有支线提示，导致通关的时候，很多套装都没有收集齐全。这游戏就不能把支线的触发地点明确的标记出来，吗？既然你知道支线很重要，你又不给地图或者任务提示，玩家怎么触发？而且一次只能启动一个任务，中途想去做别的任务，你还得放弃当前任务，任务中还不能存档。
能看出来这个游戏是有做好的想法，但是很多设计并不成熟，但是毕竟是2021年的游戏，应该也不会有后续更新了。最主要的是女主角太丑，只能差评。

I enjoy space fighter games and this really scratched that itch. I just finished and while I could do without hearing the word 'chorus' for a while I thought it was a well designed game with some good themes (accepting yourself, potential of humanity, etc.) The gameplay had some good innovations and nearly all of them were useful throughout the game. I caught it on sale and hope to see more like it.

Un mundo abierto ( Son sistemas pero funcionan como lo haria un mundo abierto) , tenemos mejoras para nuestra nave haciendo secundarias y explorando el mapa , estas mejoras nos serviran para acceder a lugares que antes no podiamos , la mision principal que narra la historia de la protagonista, asi como su pasado , aunque no es la gran historia es suficiente como para mantenerte interesado.

Todo esto no tendría nada de especial salvo porque tiene una jugabilidad absolutamente increible. Es un gusto jugarlo y posee un apartado audio visual muy bueno.

Gameplay bien fluide à la manette, les combats sont dynamiques et plutôt cool.
J'avoue que je ne me suis pas trop intéressé à l'histoire, mais peu importe, je me suis bien amusé à maitriser mon vaisseau et ses pouvoirs.
Pour un jeu que j'ai eu quelques euros en promo, c'est vaut carrément le coût.

Good action, great graphics, good story. The story took a little time to build, but ultimately I really enjoyed it. I finished it in a little more than 21 hours, though I tried to complete all the game activities I could (not including achievements, though I don't really care about them). Solid game, I give it an 8 overall.

It was fun while it worked. I primarily play games on the Steam Deck now, and as someone mentioned, it crashes at the very same "follow the viper leader" quest.

it was mostly smooth 60-ish fps on default settings, but would stutter during intense fights, which would be the worst time for it to do so.

I was really enjoying it too until it would repeatedly crash on that particular mission. Could i skip it? Sure. Is there a guarantee that it wont happen again during another mission? at this point i no longer care to find out. too bad really.

这个推荐80%是点给编剧的，女主角塑造得真的太有魅力了。承认并接受自己过去所犯过的错或做过的决定需要巨大的勇气，但是更难能可贵的还是在这之后还能挺直腰杆做人，不因为自己曾犯过错而觉得自己低人一等的配得感，不是盲目的骄傲自大而是清晰的明白自己想做什么并且坚定的贯彻到底，不因自己曾做错过而有所动摇，太美丽了。我本身其实不太喜欢太空飞船这种元素和玩法，但是这个游戏就做得蛮好的，而且很多地方能看到一些命运2的影子，也可能是我命瘾犯了。总之，很好玩很好玩，代入进去之后真的很难不爱上女主。

Nota 7/10 - deixa tonto mas é divertido de jogar.
Se você possui problemas de epilepsia ou quando joga algum jogo fica enjoado não compre este game não é para todo mundo. Chorus tem um gameplay tortuoso e foca muito no foco sobre foco em manobras de nave onde vc gira ao estilo giroscópio no meu caso tive que fazer pausas para voltar a jogar mas é um game como qualquer outro nível de dificuldade até alto mas plauzível porem com pouco conteúdo neste caso eles poderiam ter feito um jogo menor com mais elaboração de cenas para torna-lo menos repetitivo.

There's a lot of good and a little bad about Chorus. My favorite thing about this game is the drift mechanic, it's a huge improvement over the one in Star Wars Squadrons. Simple to use but difficult to master it opens up a lot of tactical options. The prayer system is a lot of fun I especially liked the one that lets you teleport in behind a target. Of all the things in the game that makes it feel the most unique. I also enjoyed the simplified weapons system, it's nice just having a balanced option of all round weapon, hull damage weapon, and shield damage weapon. I enjoy games like Everspace and Freelancer, the two games it's most similar to, but it can mean a lot of useless junk you just have to waste time selling or breaking down for parts. The bad, not much here but the plot is a little hard to follow at times. The difficulty can very wildly from encounter to encounter too some are relatively simple, some are maddeningly difficult but it was always fun and I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Siiigh. Well, it's a cool and pretty game about using psychic powers in space. But it needs just a little more work to be a solid A. Right now it's more like a B- here's why in no particular order.
- Not enough autosave and checkpoints in some missions.
- At least one quest is really bugged if you do it our of order which you absolutely can.
- Bigger ships in early missions are really easy completely stationary targets.
- Character's senses pick up mission objective, random cash, mines and friendly NPCs as the same triangle. This could be more convenient.
- Game often ignores interface post processing setting.
- Game often locks you into a main mission when you don't want to do it.
- Side activities only become available after story progress, but game shows them immediately anyway making you waste your time.

Años atrás vi una publicidad suya en una tienda. Fue solo una vez. Después desapareció por completo.

Con el tiempo, el recuerdo de ese juego quedó guardado en mi memoria, pero no su nombre. Solo sabía una cosa: empezaba con la letra C. Jamás volví a encontrarlo… hasta hoy.

Investigando un poco, entendí que esta entrega pasó muy desapercibida en su lanzamiento. Y honestamente, cuesta creerlo.

Solo puedo decir que este juego es una auténtica belleza.
Una joya perdida dentro de este inmenso catálogo de videojuegos.

Vorweg: Absolute Empfehlung <3

Dieses Spiel hat mich vollkommen überrascht, macht mega Bock zu zocken, die Wendigkeit, Schnelligkeit, Driften und das Actionlastige Gameplay machen richtig Spaß. Es werden immer wieder neue Gegnertypen vorgestellt, was ziemlich Abwechslung ins Spiel bringt. Die Story ist echt in Ordnung, ist gut verpackt, Hauptcharacter Cult-Aussteigerin und hat sich der anderen Seite angeschlossen. Das Pacing vom Spiel ist fantastisch, es passiert oft immer etwas, und dieses etwas ist oft gut inszeniert.
Grafik ist hübsch, Weltraum und zugehörige Welten ebenfalls.
Was mich persönlich echt nervt ist ihr ständiges Geflüster, das hätte man anders umsetzen können oder eben auch weglassen. Zudem ist die Orientierung in manchen Kämpfen etwas schwierig, das ist aber Geschmackssache und kann teilweise bestimmt auch immersiv wirken.

Absolute Empfehlung.

Great fun so far.
Excellent arcade ship handling, interesting story and just lots of blowing s*** up with eye melting explosions. Sometimes that's all you need to satisfy the dog fighting deity inside.

Mission structure is free roaming pick and choose between story missions or side quests.
Collect resources etc and buy better stuff for your ship.
Action is oh so sweet.
Would have been nice with a cockpit view mode, since it complicates things when completely (almost) turning off autoaim.

Chorus is one of my favourite video games.

The whole premise is catnip to me. Space opera. Shooters. Space exploration. Dogfights. It hits every box cleanly.

I love Star Wars. I am also tired of Star Wars. I wanted something original. Chorus delivers a story that only works as a video game, because the narrative is inseparable from how you learn to move, fight, and survive. Your abilities are not just upgrades. They are discoveries.

You play Nara. She is not a hero. She is a former enforcer for an authoritarian space cult called the Circle. She committed real atrocities. She knows it. The game never lets her off the hook.

She leaves the cult, tries to disappear, scavenges wreckage for a living. Then a single catastrophic event kills the people she has attached herself to, and she is forced to confront who she was and what she can never undo.

Mechanically, that confrontation looks like fast, aggressive, high-speed space combat. Every fight is face-to-face. Enemies swarm you. You do not trade fire from a distance. You close the gap and hunt.

Chorus is built entirely around movement. The signature mechanic is drifting, which lets you carry momentum while rotating freely, like an arcade racing drift translated into 3D space. Later, you unlock Rites, occult-feeling abilities that let you teleport behind enemies, EMP entire formations, phase through danger, or grab ships and smash them into each other. It feels wild and physical in a way most space shooters never attempt.

Despite how people describe it, this is not a sandbox in the Starfield sense. It is not about trading, mining, or economies. The structure is linear missions embedded inside semi-open regions. The side quests matter. They flesh out the world, deepen Nara’s history, and steadily turn you into something terrifying.

You are always in your ship. No walking. No FPS mode. No planet hopping on foot. Your fighter, Forsaken, is a literal character with a voice and a past. The entire game commits to the idea that spacefaring itself is the point.

That focus pays off. Exploring asteroid fields, derelict megastructures, and cult strongholds never feels like filler. Combat is mandatory, constant, and increasingly spectacular. Speed is survival. Later, power becomes domination.

Taking down a lone pirate feels good. Wiping an entire battleship fleet while drifting through debris at full throttle feels incredible.

Visually, this is a AA game from 2021 and it shows. It was never cutting edge. But the scale works. The panoramic space vistas, ship designs, and motion all hold together. When the game is flowing, it genuinely sings.

The sound design does a lot of heavy lifting. Strong voice performances. Punchy weapons. And a techno-classical soundtrack that leans hard into mood and melancholy. It fits the tone perfectly.

It is not flawless. Dogfights can blur together late game. Dialogue is sometimes interrupted by mission triggers and never resumes, which is maddening when the story is doing something interesting.

The final boss fight is divisive. I liked it. It is not hard. It is long. Exhaustingly long. It demands sustained attention. If you start it late at night, that is on you. Go to bed.

I finished the game. That alone says a lot. I rarely see games through to the end.

I logged about 30 hours. It could have been seven. I dragged it out because I did not want it to be over.

The unfortunate reality is that we will probably never see a sequel. Critics were generally positive. Players who found it loved it. But it underperformed commercially. Embracer later confirmed it missed sales expectations, and much of the studio was laid off. Chorus exists as a single, complete statement.

It goes on sale often. Sometimes absurdly cheap. If you have any interest in space combat games, it is absolutely worth your time. It is one of the most distinctive space shooters I have ever played.

But the game it's graphically good, the sound design is great and the main character is someone i want to learn more about.
