No me gusto, porque esperaba más estrategia y exploración. Los 3 primeros mapas fueron de ese tipo, pero los siguientes que tocan son modo exterminio y este tipo de juego es incómodo para acabar con enemigos que te caen todos a la vez. Pienso que hay jugadores que les puede gustar este tipo de juego, pero en mi caso decidí desinstalarlo y probar con otro juego más de mi gusto.

Oldie but Goodie.
Quirky and charming, with nothing really special story, that just has enough trappings to give a sense of a theme.
Be warned, that Steam version is bugged and you won't be able to really change your team members. You can play freely through w/o problem, but you ain't hearing just a few quips each character gets on knocking out / arresting someone, talking or getting killed.
There's an aptly named development studio - or was. All of their isometric titles, composed of relatively simple elements, have a certain magic to them. Needless to say, this one is no exception. It introduces basic adventure game mechanics like scouring the level for information and keys to doors and lock boxes, while blending these mechanics with squad-based stealth strategy and a bit of action. None of it seems particularly deep, but the end result is delightfully enchanting.
The game features two campaigns (for the mafia and the police), allows to pick squad mates based upon their stats, and select their gear from a realistic list of items. These include firearms (pistol, shotgun, rifle, and submachine gun), lethal or non-lethal melee weapons (knuckleduster, baton, chloroform, switchblade, and throwing knife), restraint devices (rope for the mafia, and handcuffs for the police), first aid kits, grenades, and bribe money for paying off witnesses (the latter two are exclusive to the mafia). Not only do the police get fewer tools - they cannot pay off witnesses or use knives and grenades - but they can also only engage "legal" targets. That is to say they can only return fire as opposed to sneaking up on unsuspecting enemies to neutralise them quietly, and they have to perform arrests on surrendering enemies by handcuffing them at gunpoint. Otherwise they get penalised, and - after accumulating enough penalties - end up going to jail, making them unavailable for missions. The mafia, perhaps unsurprisingly, are unburdened by ethics and have no moral qualms, so it is probably better to play their campaign first.
Now I have zero proper law enforcement training, and am no police consultant. However, there don't seem to be any ways for the police to announce their presence, except discharging their firearms within earshot, and most enemies have their weapons drawn and don't want to surrender anyway, so the procedure for adhering to the strict letter of the law for me usually went as follows: save the game, whip a shotgun out, and take a run up behind a lone enemy, stopping just close enough for him to hear the footstep noise and become curious enough to turn around. Next, go into slow motion mode, wait for the icon above his head to change, marking him as a legal target, to then blast him away without repercussions. If sneaking up behind an enemy is impossible, the somewhat modified procedure applies: save the game, take two guys, arming the better shooter with a rifle (it has a longer range) and have him cover the designated "runner", who will run up close enough to get spotted, quickly retreating under fire in slow motion, while you switch to the rifleman and blast the perpetrator. Alternatively, you could just not switch to Hard difficulty, and play on Easy or Medium instead because enemy reaction times are noticeably more forgiving on the latter two. Bear in mind, this decision has to be made at the beginning of the game.
Despite all the positives, however, the controls are simply not responsive enough to recommend this game unconditionally to new players. Frame rate is low, and every click registers after a noticeable delay, which hinders any attempt at dexterous play under pressure. On the Hard difficulty setting it is super important to know what's coming, at times having to carefully position your operatives in advance to overcome a given situation. That is because enemies and player characters have very limited vision range and don't see anyone beyond it, so scouting with a "perceptive" character becomes absolutely necessary.
In addition, the game has a few bugs. Even though its save system is amazing in its own right - it is possible to quick-save at literally any given moment - the game might occasionally crash upon saving or loading. One mission has a bugged objective to save an electrician, who is locked in a small walled yard with two gates which can be unlocked with the same key. Problem is, unlocking doors "consumes" keys, and this objective does not register as completed if the wrong gate is unlocked to set the electrician free, so keep several saves on every mission just in case. Picking your team for missions is also buggy - operatives selected in the beginning of a campaign cannot be changed later on, unless they are killed or in jail, so don't fill your roster straight after the first mission because more capable operatives become available later.
The game can be played with a team of just three characters. It appears to lack team management tools like setting behavioural patterns and active monitoring of areas, so it is probably actually more convenient that way. I recommend picking a designated marksman, a melee-capable guy, and a discreet, sneaky guy to cover pretty much all the situations - with the exception of the horrendous railway hostage rescue mission, which seems to change the rule set enemies go by, with some of them becoming so paranoid, they are impossible to sneak up on. However, even in that mission five guys are probably only necessary if you want to save absolutely all the hostages. Nevertheless, the railway hostage rescue mission made me regret the game doesn't let you have a skilled "crisis negotiator" on the team. Don't forget to "practice" every operative's skill in missions as well as collecting upgrade tokens, as this improves them also. Unfortunately, only their signature skills can upgraded through training and upgrade tokens at first; the rest becoming available for improvement only after completing a mission on a territory with the gym icon on it, quite a ways into a chosen campaign.
There is a glitch in the game, which does not allow me to pick new players, if I do I get back the old players but without any of the weapons they were given. I basically cannot play with the new players even though I unlocked them!

Игру рекомендую, конкретно эту версию игры - нет, она багованая. Из критичного: невозможно поменять состав команды, как их не тасуй на миссию выходят те персонажи, которых игрок выбирал в самый первый раз на первое задание (в первой половине игры это не так важно, но при игре за полицию становиться тяжко), плюс сломаный скрипт в самом конце игры который не выполняет самую финальную задачу и не даёт закончить игру, забавно, вроде прошел, а вроде и нет.
Про саму игру: сетинг Америки времён сухого закона, геймплей походит Commandos в основном - изометрический экшен с управлением мышью. Присутствуют интересные механики, но многие просто слиты впустую: можно буквально перебрасывать предметы из инвентаря между персонажами на расстоянии (дальность зависит от умений бросать), но это нигде толком не используется. Враги отличаются по степени агрессивности, испуганного врага можно взять "на мушку" и он поднимет руки, можно обыскать и связать/арестовать его, но если отвернуться от врага он начнёт искать оружие и продолжит атаковать. Играем сначала за мафию, завоёвывая город, потом за полицию на тех же картах.
Из минусов: не очень удобное управление вверенным отрядом, разбить сквад на группы и управлять ими можно только постоянно вручную выделяя их мышью, горячих клавиш для этого нет, включенный френдли фаер (у врагов тоже), а учитывая, что никакого боевого построения у отряда нет, то чел с ружьем будет косить своих же с завидным постоянством.
Вполне себе годный проект для своего времени, да и сейчас прошёл не без удовольствия

Ein Commandos im Chicago der Prohibition? Ja, dies machte dieses Spiel 2003 möglich. In zwei Kampagnen (Mafia und Polizei), schleichen und prügeln wir uns durch die Zeit ohne Alkohol. Die Grafik wirkt dabei immer noch frisch und gut ansehnlich. Zwar merkt man dieser an, dass sie nicht für Full-HD konzeptioniert war und einige Elemente sind etwas fizzelig, dennoch schaut es gut aus. Texte und Vertonung sind in Deutsch und machen ordentlich Stimmung. Von dem Spielprinzip steuern wir unsere Truppe in Echtzeit, können die Zeit stark verlangsamen, um Befehle zu geben und erfüllen so unsere Aufträge. Ein tolles Spiel, das einen Blick wert ist.

Um jogo estilo point e click investigativo onde você impersona um agente da mafia ou do FBI nos anos 20-30.
O jogo é bem antigo e está datado. As mecanicas são lentas, os menus feios e pouco intuitivos.
Mesmo assim, acho que seria possivel se divertir, era um bom jogo em sua época!
Não recomendo devido a bugs que impedem o jogo de funcionar corretamente em sistemas modernos.
По-сути, игра неплохая, хоть и чувствуется недоработка многих аспектов, таких как метательное оружие для полицейских, которое напрочь отсутствует в игре. Спрашивается, зачем вообще этот навык нужен? А издевка от разрабов, которая заключается в том, что в одного из лучших членов команды силовиков, Джона Фрея, есть бонус +2 к метанию гранат, которые ему запрещено использовать - бесценна.
Также непонятно зачем в игре харизма. Ладно его гг харизму, а остальным она зачем?
Миссии довольно короткие, игра очень быстро проходится, играть нужно на харде, а иначе чувство, что играешь против отсталых в развитии. Ну все бы ничего, не взирая на баги и на вышеперечисленное, это все-таки игра детства, почему бы и не сыграть в неё.
Но вся проблема заключается в непофикшеном баге - невозможность сменить члена команды. Вот прошёл ты первую миссию, получил в распоряжение несколько молодцев, и вот ты прошел следующий квест, и подъехали более бодрые кадры. Только когда ты их заменяешь предыдущих новыми ребятами, то запуская след. миссию обнаруживаешь, что в команде ПО ФАКТУ у тебя все те же ребята из прошлой миссии, и в добавок с пустым инвентарем. Единственный способ, как поменять члена команды это слить предыдущего. Просто дать его убить и только после миссии можно будет уже нанять нового члена команды.
Этот баг очень портит впечатление, а за сим игру в стиме покупать я бы не рекомендовал.
На CD версии, которую я играл еще в школьном возрасте, проблем со сменой тимы не наблюдалось, но увы этот косяк есть в стимовской версии, поэтому, думайте сами.

5人（初期ミッションは1人）に指示を出しつつミッションをこなす。
バレットタイムのような仕様があり疑似的に5人同時に指示を出し動かすことによって一気に制圧できます。
（むずかしいです、操作方法も20年前なので察して…）
イージーでしかプレイしていませんがやりごたえがあり楽しめています。
イージーでも結構考えながらやるので個人的には難しい印象です、また英語が多少読めないとストーリーどころかミッション内容が分からないと思われる、日本語非対応。
敵AIの挙動は突っ込みどころがありますがそこはゲーム、武器を持ったところやマフィアをしばいたところを一般人に見られると騒ぎます…
windows11環境で普通にやるとちょいちょいクラッシュしたり、致命的なバグに遭遇します。
そこをクリアしてもまじかっていうバグが２つあります。
自分がやった感じでクラッシュしにくかったのは
解像度を下げる、PC設定自体をFHD以下（1024*768がベストだと思うが自分はFHDでプレイ）
ゲーム内設定の解像度は1024*768に設定。
高解像度の場合クラッシュしやすい、またゲーム内のマップ読み込みが正しく行われないマップがあるフロア移動しても最上フロアが読み込まれゲームにならない。
exeの全画面表示最適化を無効にする。
互換モードは設定してません（steamから起動できなくなる、設定する場合はexeを直接叩けば起動できる）
2つのバグ
１，装備画面でハンドガンを5人に（全部で5丁になってもだめかも）持たせるとフリーズします、一人は他の銃か別の武器を持ちましょう。
２，新しくリクルートしたメンバーにチェンジしても初期の5人がミッションに参加する、装備画面では主人公＋選んだ4人なので変更したメンバーのところは装備なしで元のメンバーが出陣。
２はなんとか直してほしいところ…有志によるパッチとかないですかね？？？
セールで100円くらいになるのでその時がおすすめ。
もう一度書きますが古いゲームなので環境によってはそのままでは起動しない可能性があります。
最後にロープの使い方ですがスタンさせた相手に使用すると縛ることができます、これでもう起きてこない！やったね！

Jogo antigo, mesma empresa de Desperados. Gostei demais, me lembrou de quando eu jogava no meu windows 98 a muito tempo atrás. O jogo tem vários bugs (dificuldade não muda, não da para trocar o time, ficando com o inicial), mas foi jogável no windows 10.

ATTENZIONE! Al momento c'è un bug che non permette di cambiare i membri della squadra e rimarranno bloccati quelli della prima missione, se provate a sostituirli una volta iniziata la missione vi ritroverete sempre gli stessi personaggi di prima ma con l'inventario vuoto a prescindere da cosa gli abbiate equipaggiato.
Per il resto è Chicago 1930, per i nostalgici non c'è bisogno di presentazioni mentre per i nuovi credo sia parecchio difficile da digerire oggigiorno.

Chicago 1930 : The Prohibition is an ancient game from 2004. It's a whopping 19 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for any modern gaming display resolutions (or widescreen monitors), hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on modern gaming PCs. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an ancient game. This seems to have been put on Steam as a nostalgia gouge.
It was an old tactical RTS, where you position small units of mafia thugs or cops against each other in the roaring 1920's and 30's, during the prohibition era. Work through the mafia or police campaigns, doing a series of set missions. At least, that's what you'd do if the game worked.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
While there's an option to change the resolution, it doesn't work. There's no useful graphics tweaks. It's unclear why the developer never bothered to test that before dumping this on Steam. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio, despite the emergence of widescreen displays back in 2004. The game was out of date when it was released, if it worked properly, it would be even more obsolete today.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in an unplayable and broken state. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. They're aware of this, and yet they persist in putting their broken game on sale and in game bundles! This is not okay!
The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the almost unethical price of $5 USD for a game they know is broken. Don't give it to them.

Super nostalgie! Škoda, že tam není automaticky vložená čeština (nebo volba více jazyků) a je třeba si ji zajistit externě.
Il gioco in se non è male, anzi è molto divertente e il gameplay sembra interessante.
Certo la IA non è molto sveglia dato prima di reagire passano parecchi secondi.
Il doppiaggio in italiano è stupendo.
L' unico vero problema sta nei vari crash del gioco, già nei primi minuti si presentano problemi come spegnimenti improvvisi anche durante le missioni facendoti perdere tutti i progressi fatti e costringendoti a ricominciare dall'inizio la missione, rendendo l'esperienza di gioco frustrante.
Alla fine consiglio di acquistare il gioco solo se è in sconto a 0.49€ e non a prezzo pieno.

Dopo aver fatto un altro po' di ore di gioco sono andato avanti con le missioni e effettivamente il gioco sembra essersi "stabilizzato" non mi sono più capitati spegnimenti del gioco.
In definitiva posso consigliare caldamente questo gioco che mi stà divertendo assai.

Прежде чем я начну хвалить игру и говорить, чем это она мне понравилась, хочу ПРЕДУПРЕДИТЬ.
STEAM Версия имеет ряд багов и ошибок, которые могут возникнуть у вас при прохождение:
1) Вылеты из миссий, при чём из самых первых (Так пишут другие пользователи, но лично у меня такого не было, может, уже пофиксили ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯)
2) Невозможность поменять члена команды при подготовке к мисси. Тут по подробнее. Вы не можете сменить ни одного члена своей команды, если один из них не мертв или не сидит в тюрьме, что тоже является смэртю. А если вы попробуйте, то столкнетесь с тем что на мисси старый состав (из тех, кого вы решили поменять) да ещё и без ЭКИПИРОВКИ! Игра просто сбросит ваш выбор.
3) Вылеты после быстрого сохранения. Сохранялся вручную это тоже быстро, но не так как быстрое сохранение.
4) Проблема со звуком, а именно музыка может случайно запустить боевую тему и долгое время не затихать на мирную.
5) Тут нету русификатор. Его я ставил сам, благо есть добрые люди, которые объяснили, как это сделать.
6) При игре за Копов звук может шипеть. Проблема решается нажатием 2 раза на "Esc". Выйти и зайти в меню.
Если вы думает, что выше перечисленные баги помешают вашему игровому процессу, стоит воздержаться от покупки. Ну разве что купить со скидкой. Лично для меня ошибки и баги не были фатальными, поэтому перейдём к самой игре.
Chicago 1930 - это "Стелс экшен" и "Стратегия в реальном времени".
Gameplay - осматриваемся, планируем, действуем: убиваем, вырубаем, грабим, прячем тела. Из за того что игра в реальном времени мы можем попасть в непредвидимые ситуации, где нас увидят, потом раздатся тревога, мы убьём кого то из пушки, а тело увидят или того хуже наше грязное дело заметят граждане, которые на нас настучат, если не убьём их или не подкупить.
Бои происходят достаточно напряжённо из за того, что мы также смертны как и наши враги. И тут нам помогает такое прекрасное решение как замедление времени (не много не честное умение как мне казалось). Но не все мисси проходят полным истребление врагов, они могут выступать как препятствие через которое при желании можно просто обойти. Мисси разнятся от Уничтожения запасов пива до подслушивания нужной информации. Но это сделано достаточно примитивно
Не мало важную роль в игре играет атмосфера, создающаяся из музыки (которой как то маловато) и сделанных с любовью. Интерьеры комнат, наполненных под чистую всякими деталями.
После прохождения компании за Мафию мы можем переключится на Копов, где мы будем иметь несколько изменённый Gameplay. Мы будем представлять закон и убивать всех налево и направо уже нельзя, и даже ассортимент экипировки сократится (Экипировка схожа с тем, что берут Мафиози, но она чуток сократиться, а её тут не много). Локации при этом не изменяются. мы будем ходить по всё тем же местам, где мы когда то совершали преступления, а за копов уже расследовать эти самые преступления, но уже в обратном порядке. Мне показалось, что играть за копов куда интереснее.
На первой паре вам может не понравиться управление. Тут нет горячих клавиш, и быстро переключиться на другого сокомандника получится только мышкой. Чтоб вы понимали, перезарядка оружия происходит так: Мы из инвентаря переносим сами патроны в оружие и так перезаряжаем. что в критических ситуация может плохо обернуться. Ещё управлять всей командой сразу не получается, если вы хотите успешно сохранить жизнь всей команде, вам нужно 4-3 поставить охранять тыл, а 1-2 выполнять все основные действия. Попробуете всей командой пострелять и быстро перестреляете себя же. Ведь они постоянно кучкуются, если вы вдруг задали им точку сбора.
Инвентарь покажется слишком маленьким, но его будет хватать за глаза. Он скорее аккуратно скомкан до минимума. У вас всё таки есть команда из 5 человек, кто будет держать пушки, кто то аптеки, а кто то будет просто нести патроны с ключами.
Перед разрабами встал серьёзный вопрос. Как в этой игре определять, кто враг, а кто друг? (настроение короче). и они решили, что у каждого человека (кроме гражданских) будет смайлик над головой, описывающий то, что будет делать бот при прямой встрече с игроком (будь то игнорирование или вооруженное столкновение). Это серьёзно помогает определить то, как стоит поступать игроку.
Чтобы придать некой логичности действиям игрока, играя за копов, тут предусмотрена система предупреждений ФБР (Действующая также на Мафию). Если персонаж совершает неправомерные действия (Убивает сдающегося преступника или гражданина), то у него будет повышаться количество предупреждений. И по достижению 10 таких предупреждений у игрока отбирают персонажа, сажая его в тюрьму. Сделано это с целью вживания в роль.
Хоть игрой я остался доволен и даже мог бы порекомендовать эту игру, если бы не Баги и ошибки, которые большинству показались неприемлемы, что я вполне разделяю это. Купите это со скидкой на свой риск.

È sempre divertente e triste allo stesso tempo vedere le nuove generazioni avere a che fare con "la roba vecchia" e sclerarne.
La maggior parte delle recensioni negative e delle opinioni su Chicago 1930 si basa su serissime motivazioni del tipo "non riesco a ruotare la telecamera" oppure "non posso fare le macro"; "come si mette in HD"... fino ad arrivare ai minus habens definitivi che vorrebbero giocare col pad.
Gioiello dei primi anni 2000 della defunta tedesca Spellbound Entertainment, la stessa gente di Desperados e Robin Hood... Chicago 1930 ci portava, con le stesse fattezze isometriche, in pieno proibizionismo e ci permetteva di affrontare due campagne e storie separate: come mafiosi o come poliziotti.
Il gioco è semplicemente un RTT più che buono, genere che (ri)nacque sulla scia del successo del primo Commandos, nel 1998, e di cui la Spellbound fu in assoluto la miglior "emulatrice"... sfornando almeno 3 giochi degni di nota: questo, Robin Hood - La Leggenda di Sherwood e il mitico Desperados, appunto... la cui eredità dura ancora oggi.
Un'altra delle cose migliori dei loro prodotti, per noi, inoltre, è che furono tutti doppiati in italiano e magistralmente. Chicago 1930 non fa eccezione e anche questa versione Steam include sottotitoli e doppiaggio, anche se come al solito la pagina del negozio non lo specifica.
Per anni gli appassionati come me hanno giocato ai titoli di quel periodo grazie a programmi di terze parti quali DxWnd o dgVoodoo 2, ce li ho ancora installati e configurati sul vecchio HD... ma con le ultime, malefiche forme di Windows, soprattutto 10 e 11, diventava sempre più complicato riuscire a farli funzionare... con un po' di timore presi quindi questa versione Steam, per paura che non funzionasse a dovere come era stato in altre occasioni per altri vecchi titoli.
Ma le recensioni negative dei consolari sotto copertura si sono rivelate fasulle: questa riedizione funziona alla grande e aggiunge il supporto 16:9 e le risoluzioni fino al 2K, ma attenzione... il gioco non fu programmato per tali risoluzioni quindi vedrete tutto molto piccolo e così non riuscirete a godervelo a dovere, poiché non esisteva ancora lo zoom come fu poi dal secondo capitolo di Commandos in avanti.
Siccome le impostazioni di gioco vi vedranno solo 2 risoluzioni, la vecchia e gloriosa 4:3 1024x768 e quella del vostro desktop... il trucco sta nel cambiare direttamente dal desktop la risoluzione con cui vorrete giocare, e poi far partire il gioco.
Per esempio io ho messo il desktop in 1080p... per poi notare che era tutto ancora troppo piccolo... quindi ho fatto delle prove e sono arrivato a scegliere la 1366x768: così non perdo il 16:9 ed il gioco si vede benissimo, né troppo piccolo né troppo grande. Ed è un bel guadagno rispetto alla massima risoluzione possibile all'epoca, la 1024... infatti giocare risulterà più semplice.
Di tutti gli altri problemi stupidi descritti dai ragazzini frignanti nelle recensioni o nelle discussioni non ne ho riscontrato nessuno... non ho avuto bug, non ho avuto freeze né ritorni al desktop.
Il gioco è "lento" rispetto agli standard odierni, certo... e si gioca tutto col mouse e giusto poco con la tastiera per spostare la visuale o selezionare i personaggi; ma questi possono essere dati sorprendenti solo per chi ha meno di 30 anni, non si possono pretendere il supporto al pad, le macro, le telecamere a 360° o altre assurdità del genere da un RTT di 20 anni fa. Ci manca solo che qualcuno si lamenti per la mancanza di aim assist e l'idiozia è completa.
Come al solito, quindi... siamo di fronte ad una vecchia gemma ma che però, in quanto tale e proprio per questo... può essere apprezzata solo da chi ormai non rientra più nella fascia dell'età media degli utenti Steam e internet in generale.
In questo caso diciamo che dovrete avere almeno... 30-35 anni, per poter tornare a godervi il proibizionismo in chiave strategica.
The "awesome" game for 0.50 euro. Yeah. Not recommended.

Podrás elegir ser de la mafia o un policía donde tendrás 5 miembros donde cada uno tendrás 5 habilidades que podrás ir subiendo.
Buenas misiones y jugabilidad decentes.
Tiene un bug una vez creado el equipo de 5 no podrás cambiar a ninguno salvó que muera o lo detengan algo bastante molesto.

But it feels and plays like it's incomplete.
Enemies don't react in a rational manner. Most of the time they are only staring at you.
Like they are waiting for you to gun them down or knock them out. '
Overall the way they behave and react is all over the place.
Sometimes it works. Most times it just doesn't.
And I found no viable patch or fix. So yeah, I'm sad to say that I cannot recommend it.

Avis tardif mais j'ai joué à ce petit jeu toute ma jeunesse, pour moi l'un des meilleurs du genre gangster, jamais égalé .
Il mériterait une sorte de remake, avec plus de missions, plus de gangs, et des couleurs de tenues plus réalistes. Néanmoins l'ambiance m'avait marqué étant plus jeune et les voix françaises sont merveilleuses, les musiques extraordinaire, on en fait plus des jeux comme celui-ci.
Rien que pour montrer la profondeur de création du jeu à l'époque: les voix anglaises sont différentes du tout au tout! meme les cris d'un de nos gars qui meurs est différent que dans la version française c'est fou? à l'heure actuelle ce genre de détails ne changerai pas.
On voit le professionnalisme lors de la création du jeu.
En outre j'adore aussi le systeme de petit inventaire des personnages, en revanche de mon poiint de vu , c'est trop limité dun point de vu taille des cartes/ nombres de gangsters, il faudrait si une version nouvelle de chicago sortait, pouvoir conduire des véhicules et avoir plus de libertés et décider peut etre soi meme des missions que l'on veut faire / ou veut on attaquer pour déstabiliser l'autre gang ou la police etc.
Les graphismes se font vieux mais j'avais vraiment apprécié à l'époque ce coté retro , et ces sons de pas de nos élégantes chaussures des années 30.
Ce jeu m'a bluffé étant jeune et j'espere qu'il obtiendra une sorte de remake ou un jeu du meme type sur la prohibition.

Leider heute nicht mehr spielbar (zumindest habe ich es trotz einiger Versuche nicht zum funktionieren kriegen können), da mehrere game-breaking Bugs im Spiel enthalten sind. Daher trotz der Tatsache, dass mir das Spiel das Spiel eigentlich ganz gut gefällt, keine Empfehlung.
Cooler Soundtrack und Atmosphäre, welche leider mit dem Zahn der Zeit in die Jahre gekommen und damit verstaubter geworden sind. Eine aktuellere Neuauflage existiert nicht. Das Gameplay war ähnlich zu Titeln wie Desperados.
Die Bugs überschatten das Spielerlebnis dabei immens. Charaktere lassen sich nicht auswechseln, ebenso wenig lassen sich die Ausrüstungen ändern. Daher ab Mission 2 nicht mehr spielbar. Auch ist die Auflösung natürlich nicht mehr nutzbar.

Veľmi ma potešilo, že je dostupná verzia pre Win10. Na druhej strane obsahuje bug, ktorý nedovoľuje meniť členov svojho tímu, čo značne pokazí zážitok. Preto nerozumiem tomu, že hra je spoplatnená. Je to síce len 5€, ale príde mi nepochopiteľné pýtať akúkoľvek sumu. Z princípu som hru reklamoval.
Cool Commandos-style mafia themed game. Unfortunately the Steam version is very buggy and unstable, so you might as well track down an original copy. I'm giving it a recommendation bc the game is still fun and worth playing through.

Well, I feel very mixed about this release. For today standards the game can feel a bit archaic, but it's still very good and challenging. It's not as good as Commandos or Desperados [AI can sometimes do some weird things], but overall I got some really good time with it. But I can't recommend the steam version.
Numerous glitches and bugs bites your ass every few minutes. You are basically locked with your team members and can't change them [game is always reseting your roster at the begining of the mission], dynamic music change sometimes works, sometimes you need to pause the game for it to work, surprise freezes and error on some of the missions [heard that people got crashes on Mafia mission 2, i got it on mission 5, basically making it impossible to finish]. The game can't be patched correctly, doing so you are forced to reinstall.
And it's such a shame, because Chicago 1930 by itself is solid and atmospheric [very pulpy comic book feel] game. Until it's on GOG try to find used physical version. Or, you know. Other sources.
Please don't buy it. It has a character selection bug. Really annoyed.
Would love to recommend game but fact they released unpatched version on steam is inexcusable.
Your best bet is getting your hands on cd version and applying official patch (which sadly doesnt work on steam).
As game while not being on par with games like desperado or commandos because it lacks few helpful features which make game controls more intuitive (enemy cones,command queue etc) it has few good ideas like rpg system where your henchmen have different stats and each is good at something else or enemy surrendering when point a gun at them.
Its perfect time killer for real time tactics genre fans.
But yeah...dont get steam version.

Перед нами "коммандос" в атмосфере криминального Чикаго 1930 года. Две компании - за мафию и за полицию. В игре великолепные локации, художникам жму руку. Музыка тоже на высоте (хотя иногда пропадает и ее мало, но за всю игру она не надоела и наоборот грела ушки). Что еще похвалить? Да нечего... Сюжет на уровне школьного сочинения. Боевка слишком недомудренная, хотели сделать бои в реальном времени, со слоу мо и разными командами всем бойцам, а в итоге получилось... Всю игру можно пройти одним персонажем, ну максимум двумя... И это на максимальной сложности. А ведь нам дают 5 бойцов... И еще и прокачка и арсенал... Это все лишнее. Игру прошел и впечатления двойственные... Если сравнивать с тем-же коммандос который вышел намного раньше, то это небо и земля... Если рассматривать как отдельную игру, то мне понравилось. Несмторя на баги, вылеты из игры, проблемы со скриптами и вышеописанные минусы. Рекомендую.

Il s'agit d'un jeu ancien qui a un peu mal vieilli et se retrouve, sous les Windows récents avec qqs bugs ; pour ma part, je ne les trouve absolument pas gênants et ils ne m'empêchent pas de jouer à ce jeu et d'en profiter à fond (sous Win X) ..! Mais cela pourrait en rebuter certains ; surtout qu'étant passionné de jeux rétro (du début des années 2000) je suis assez patient avec les défauts que cela entraîne)
D'abord, vint Pyro, le studio espagnol qui inventa le genre du jeu tactique avec Commandos. Puis, arriva Spellbound, la firme Allemande qui reprit le concept et créa - en tout cas selon moi - certains des meilleurs jeux de tous les temps, comme Desperados 2 : Cooper's Revenge , mélangeant vue tactique isométrique et vue en 3D immersive (surtout que j'adore les westerns...) et Robin Hood : The Legend of Sherwood , qui est un de mes titres préférés de tous les temps (mais dont je n'ai pas fait la critique sur Steam car il a encore plus mal vieilli et malheureusement lagge à mort sous les Windows récents)
Et au milieu de tout ça, cette perle : Chicago 1930. D'abord, l'originalité de faire un jeu tactique sur un thème policier, avec des éléments d'investigation (assez légers pour ne pas encombrer l'action, mas très bienvenus) tenait déjà en soi de l'idée géniale ; mais surtout, l'ambiance **film noir** est excellente, la musique jazzy à souhait, l'argot des truands délicieusement truculent, bref, en dehors des qqs bugs et du graphisme un peu vieux jeu, tout y est encore ; par rapport à des films comme L.A. Noire (un jeu beaucoup plus récent et avec les moyens et le savoir-faire des développeurs de GTA...), je trouve l'ambiance bien mieux maîtrisée.
Cependant, c'est un thème qui ne plaira pas forcément à tous ; mais si, comme moi, vous adorez le thriller urbain gothique-punk (façon Vampire The MSQDE), et les polars cyniques sur fond de ville mélancolique en proie à la violence des criminels, avec de l'action, de la tactique (c'est toujours un jeu tactique, donc avant d'agir, il faut remuer des méninges), il vous faudra au moins l'essayer !
In the state it's in, it should deserve a negative, but I've paid less than $1 for it so I'm gonna be more lenient.
The premises are all good, there's the good vibe of an old-school game and the levels should keep you occupied and entertained, with actually some planning skills required to clear them. That said, the game IS buggy and crashes randomly. The way you operate your characters is also quite clunky, and frankly, a bit frustrating.
Be patient and work around the bugs, you'll at least enjoy it for what it is.

El juego es un clásico. Bastante disfrutable en pleno 2021. Sólo un comentario al respecto para los técnicos de Steam, el juego presenta un pequeño Bug. No se pueden alternar los miembros del equipo, a no ser que mueran o sean arrestados. No sé si sea posible corregirlo desde la plataforma o ya es un defecto de fábrica.
Nie polecam osobiście tej gry graficznie wygląda jak Super Columbine Masacre i w sterowaniu jest podobnie innymi słowy jest słaba gdybym miał ją ocenić to dał bym jej ocenę 3/10
Crashes after completing 2nd mission, reloaded and now crashes after redoing 1st mission. Can't load next next mission because the game just closes. Fun while it lasted!
Oh boy this game is so bad its good, the control scheme is absolutely abysmal and that's being generous.
That said I only paid £0.39 for it so I can't really grumble and I'll probably get more time out of this than some top end titles.
This game is like my uncle Terry, he is fun to have around and hang out with, but at any second he can crash and die.
Przypomniałem sobie tę grę po latach. Kiedyś nie byłem w stanie zrozumieć o co konkretnie w niej chodzi nawet w wersji polskojęzycznej. Teraz, gdy powróciłem do niej, okazała się całkiem przyjemną grą, choć posiada ogrom wad, m.in. związanych ze sterowaniem i być może tylko u mnie czasem nie słychać było wystrzałów broni, jednakże ogólnie klimat i zaangażowanie w tę grę odpłaciło za niedociągnięcia. Warto było tu wrócić zwłaszcza, że gra kosztowała na promocji nie więcej niż 2zł. Jeśli ktoś lubi wyzwania, klimat, trochę główkowania nad taktyką i nie przeszkadza mu użeranie się z niedociągnięciami, to polecam.

- błędy z dźwiękiem (może tylko u mnie, ale czasem wadzą)

- błędy z poruszaniem, które czasem przyprawia o ból głowy (i nie tylko)
Samotná hra je velmi dobrá, občas náročností může potrápit.
Bohužel obsahuje bug, kvůli kterému nelze měnit výběr postav do hry - vyhrát lze sice i se základním výběrem od počátku hry, ale narušuje to zážitek ze hry.
Pokud najdu doma originál, určitě ho upřednostním od této Steam verze.

Es un clásico qué mas puedo decir.
It's a broken port. It may seem fine at first, but you will see the problems real soon. Like a guarantee character selection bug: you can't change your team unless one of them is dead; if you try to replace your current team with new guys and new equipment, when you start the mission you will see all the guys from the previous mission but now with empty inventories, and it can't be fixed. Most of the time it works normal but crashes and glithes happen from time to time. You can't buy this game on GOG, so your best option is getting your hands on the original release and run it on a virtual machine with windows XP.

Sin embargo el bug más desagradable (y que estoy seguro no corregiran) es que una vez elijas un compañero de equipo, no lo podrás cambiar nunca más. La unica manera de "cambiarlo" es que muera o se vaya preso.

Можно брать в команду всяких дурачков и прокачивать их, потом брать на задания и т.д.
После захвата магазина (или склада - xз) оружия станут доступны более полезные и опасные "орудия труда".
