Bought this game randomly and it posed a challenge to 100%. Last stage took me a little over 2,000 tries to complete. As an achievement hunter this was well worth it!!!

In the water part you are stuck if you don''t like jump after 0.5 second, but overall the game is a fun achievement hunt.

そうなんです。この「Cart Racer」が「Hand Simulator」の大きな基盤になっていることは間違いないですね。
ワタクシはこの辺の時期に「Cockroach Simulator」や「Fly Simulator」等あらゆる”Simulator”をフレンドからギフトでいただきましたが、もうとにかくあらゆるシミュレーターを乱発してましたねHFM Gamesは。今年もまだ「Hand Simulator」のスピンオフをリリースしてましたからね。
開発者のHFM Gamesはロシアに拠点を置くゲームスタジオです。まあロシアと言ったら癖の強いバカゲーが無限に湧いて出てくる土地ではありますから、このCart Racerもご多分に漏れずロシアンゲーミングの一員でありまして、バカな設定に、バカな物理演算、雪山なのにタンクトップ。
Hand Simulatorにも言える事ですが、物理演算を放ったらかしにすると無限の笑いを誘発する事があるのでもう無敵なんですよね。
ゲーム内容は、おっさんがショッピングカートに乗って城を攻略するというものです。プレイヤーが操作するのはタンクトップに丈の短いズボンをはいたおっさんですが、おっさんはカートに乗るのが一苦労。もう乗るだけで傷だらけです。そもそもジャンプして乗ろうとするなよ。一人でプロレスをやってる様な状況がなんとも滑稽で面白いです。
シンプルなゲームこそ放ったらかしの物理演算が自由度と理不尽を強く発揮するので、このゲームには素晴らしくマッチしていると思いますね。というかHFM Gamesは味を占め過ぎ。シミュレーターブームをぶち上げた立役者は、このおっさんゲーから始まりました。ホームページを見たら開発者もおっさんでした。

リアルに5か6時間くらいかかりました。
さっき始めた友達が次々クリアしていくのを見ていると劣等感というかむなしい気持ちになりました。
コツなんてものはありません、僕のプレイ回数は最終ステージ3800を超えています。
でもこれを6時間続けられる自分の根性を褒めてあげようと思います。
もう二度と開くことはないと思いますが、根性試しがしたい方やそういう癖の方にはちょうどいいと思います。

cart racer is a silly concept, but its poorly executed and makes for an overall frustrating experience.
for starters, there is no save system. if the game crashes or you need to take a break, you lose all progress. thats annoying on its own. but cart racer is incredibly difficult, making the lack of a save system even more aggravating. the game makes you want to bash your head into a wall due to frustration, but youll have to leave cart racer open in the background to save yourself the frustration of having to start over.
secondly, the controls are janky and its incredibly inconsistent. if you do anything more than tap the controls to move to the side, you'll go flying and have to reset. hopping into the cart is pretty annoying, but how you land in the cart can change how fast you gain momentum and how high you can launch yourself. but since you kinda just ragdoll into the cart, you cant really control how you land. so even if you line up your cart just right to get to the objective, if you landed in the cart wrong, you likely wont make it.
theres also no settings. you cant adjust the sensitivity, cant change the keybinds, and most annoyingly, cant change the volume. the music is incredibly loud and after a few hundred attempts, the music gets old. it would be great if there was a volume slider, so you could turn down the music and play your own music/background noise.
lastly, the graphics are pretty mediocre, but thats to be expected for the price. still, cartman's legs/butt often clips through his shorts as he flies around.
if a save system at the beginning of each level was introduced, that would make cart racer 10x better. starting in the cart would also be a huge improvement, as it would remove the struggle of actually getting into the cart and remove the unpredictability based on how you land. but as the game currently stands, its not worth the frustration

Cart Racer je přesně ten typ hry, u které si řeknete „jen pár minut“, ale nakonec skončíte s rozbitou klávesnicí a nervama v kýblu. Tahle malá arkádová záležitost vypadá nevinně, ale dokáže hráče solidně vytočit.
Hlavní výzva spočívá v tom, že se musíte trefovat naprosto přesně – milimetr vedle a místo ladného průletu cílem vás hra odrazí úplně jinam,. A i když máte pocit, že jste překážku minuli nebo cílem proletěli, hra vám bez mrknutí oka řekne „ne, zkus to znova“. A znovu. A znovu...
Obtížnost se tady nezvyšuje klasicky, ale spíš roste množství frustrace. Přibývá překážek a s nimi i šance, že vás něco vyšle na výlet mimo trať. Levely nejsou vyloženě nesplnitelné, ale často působí spíš jako test trpělivosti než dovednosti. A že jsem během hraní pár kláves fakt vyslal do vzduchu.
Za symbolické euro je to ale fajn chvilkovka, u které si můžete buď procvičit přesnost nebo vztek. Záleží, jak se na to koukáte.
Game would be 10x better if you just start in the damn cart. it inflates the hell out of your attempts because 90% of your time is spent just trying to get your character into the cart. just start me in the cart because its a buggy mess trying to get in. there is no startegy to getting yourself into the cart, it is just rng if it puts you in the cart or flings you out of it.

A verdade é que eu nunca joguei nada igual Cart Racer, e, mesmo tendo apenas 6 horas deste jogo, eu posso confirmar que foi uma experiência que eu levarei pelo resto da minha vida. Se algum dia meus netos me perguntarem: "Vô, o que é Cart Racer?", pode ter certeza que eu vou começar a chorar lembrando de como eram bons os tempos quando o Cart Racer estava na minha biblioteca Steam pronto para eu abrir. 一般的な苦行ゲーが「淡々と石を積み上げていくゲーム」だとするのなら、こちらは「ゴルフで延々とホールインワンを目指す」作業を強いられるゲームです。
カートにおっさんをのっけて、ゴールにおっさんをぶち込めばクリアという単純明快なゲームなのですが、ジャンプ台に入る角度やスピード、おっさんのカートＩＮの体勢によって簡単に物理演算が狂って明後日の方向におっさんがぶっ飛んでいきます。その為、成功するまで何十回、何百回もやり直しするハメになります。
ただ、面クリアタイプの苦行ゲーなので、他の苦行ゲーのような「何十分、何時間もかけたのがワンミスで全てパーになる」ということがないのは評価ポイントです。缶ジュース１本分で（セールなら更に安く）買えるのもGood。初めての苦行ゲーとしていかがでしょうか。
