Really fun explorer game - my all-time favorite is "Sable", but this is running a close second!
Highly recommend
The storyline was shockingly disappointing; it was made all the worse by how it wasted the potential of a decent setup. I was honestly a bit baffled with how it fizzled out, removing all emotional impact and meaningful player agency. [spoiler] They had an easy opportunity for a Life-is-Strange but decided to do the opposite and give you a wonderful choice between nothing or slightly worse nothing[/spoiler].
I usually play these types of games for the puzzles and exploration and have to say this was frankly mediocre in both those aspects.
The art style and general inclusivity/representation were definite high points. I think this could be good for someone looking for a very low-stimulation, repetitive game.
I got about 6 hours of content out of maximizing exploration and completing the main questline (not all sides though). The time to cost ratio leads me to categorize this as a poor purchase.
Super cute game, I don't often find games that take place in space but are still cozy! The game always lets you know when you are entering the next story arc and still have unfinished quests you should do so you don't miss out on anything. The characters feel like they have a purpose and the world is just super cool to explore. I was super excited when I got a new van upgrade that let me explore new areas!
I wish there was a neutral option for this game bc that's how I feel after playing it...the first few hours were very enjoyable. The world is pretty, climbing around is fun, and I liked unlocking tools to explore other hidden paths in the world, but after a while it just became very boring and routine. There's no variation in the quest rewards, you just get miscellaneous salvaged parts to make tools for your van to progress exploration, but that doesn't even feel like it has much weight to it. I really wish you had more of an active role in repairing/upgrading the van! It would have made me feel way more engaged in what I was doing.
The characters are also pretty bland, I didn't care for anyone really...the tadpoles were cute though. But yeah, the world is so neat and I loved that it was basically the remnants after a big corporation came in and stripped the place of resources...that would have been SO cool to go scavenge for materials and explore the ruined deserts and forests and really take in what your character missed by being away.
The big reveal of who the Witch is and what happened to Garance fell SO flat after all that build up. The ending was so quick and it didn't give you any time to linger on your ending choices. :/ And they had STATIC images in their credits, it would have looked so much nicer to have the camera pan over the locations they took screenshots of...over all it just kinda felt like they crumpled up the ending and tossed it in my direction.
I'm sad bc this game has such nice visuals and the music is enjoyable, but the characters and how the story was handled was very disappointing. Buy it on sale if you must.

A pleasant casual game, with enough puzzles to keep it interesting without breaking your trigger finger. Surprised myself and enjoyed playing it, even ignoring the 'cuteness' of the characters, and with a strong back story that makes it move along.

Amazing art and story, gets a bit railroady in quests and wont let you explore until you finish the driving section of said quest. Overall a great game to spend more than a few hours on and enjoy achievement completion and a story.

Short but fun puzzly adventure game
Clearly the devs droped the game before it was finished. Early game there are bugged quests that stop game progress. Van controls are really junky. For a game that revolves around the van how can the controls be that bad. Unfortunately got over the 2h mark and cant get a refund. I see a lot of people with the same problem since the game came out in 2024... almost 2 F... years and still no fix. Not being able to refund a bugged game is nothing more than a SCAM. It looks like it was made by someone that wanted to draw pretty things and forgot to make it actually a playable game.
Extremely good, I'd describe it as a cozy exploration game.
I'm also interested in this universe, though I don't think a sequel could keep this gameplay style.
My one big issue is that you can't toggle running, you just keep pressing the key.
Cozy mystery game, I enjoyed it a lot. The story wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be and honestly I enjoyed the anti-capitalist message.

This is a very cute and calming game! The story, while a bit short if played without doing side content, is still pretty interesting. Being able to just enjoy the art style, environment, music, etc. makes any game worth playing I would say, even if it doesn't satisfy everyone. I very much enjoyed the environment/atmosphere of this game.
It doesn't reinvent the wheel when it comes to the adventure genre but there are plenty of areas to explore, items to collect, and puzzles to solve. I enjoyed being able to revisit previous locations and collect more items after acquiring new tools.
Definitely worth a play if you want to relax and enjoy some intriguing story telling and solid gameplay without worrying about too many complicated mechanics.

So i came into this game with low expectations. The demo wasnt my cup of tea to be honest.
It was on a sale so i decided to just buy it not expecting much. But i was actually suprised at how invested i got in the frist minutes. The characters are there to be loved. The gameplay might be simple but is just enough to not bore me out. Its incredibly good in its storytelling making yourself just guess what is happening and what not. The worldbuilding was phenomonel and just so unique for myself. Very distopian but thats what makes a small group of old friends even more warm.
All in all this game was what i needed. A chill and cozy game to end the evening with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a low investmant and chill game
Underrated game. It's short- I feel like there could have been a lot more story added such as fixing up the town of Estello (or growing it), helping the nomads and robots with more quests, cleaning up the mess left behind all over the planet from the consortium, or helping fight the consortium. However, what the game currently is was a delight to play. Beautiful world, didn't feel overly grindy, and I enjoyed the storyline. Overall, my main dislike is just how short it was- wish I had more time in this game!

I really enjoyed the setting, art style and combat-free gameplay – even more than I did with Sable. It feels like a lot of love went into this.
The only things that bothered me are, that I apparently missed at least one quest (no idea, how) and esp. that the camera often turns automatically when it gets close to obstacles, suddenly changing your direction of movement. I hope this will be fixed.

L'exploration est variée, agréable, les puzzles simples mais bien réfléchis, les dialogues et les personnages attachants ont tout de suite donné à ce jeu une familiarité que j'ai rarement ressenti sur un jeu vidéo.
Des émotions, des belles musiques, des décors extraordinaires, je recommande ce jeu de bout en bout, un vrai plaisir de l'avoir terminé !

Es ist ein „Soft Power“-Statement. Dabei zeigt es eine Welt, in der feministische Prinzipien – wie Empathie, Gemeinschaft und ökologische Verantwortung – schlicht die Norm sind. Es ist weniger ein Spiel über Feminismus, sondern vielmehr ein Spiel, das in einer post-patriarchalen Utopie (trotz der Postapokalypse) stattfindet.

Excellent. un jeu de balade très bien réalisé qui occupe pendant 10 bonnes heures.
Les personnages et l'univers sont attachants, avec de très beaux morceaux.
On explore, à pied ou au volant du van, cette ancienne planète minière abandonnée par les grandes entreprises..... On prend notre temps, on profite de cette ambiance.
非常好玩ovo全成就咯，美术和音乐都特别特别好，尤其是结尾配上boom结局响起的人声音乐特别震撼，不管走的哪个结局都令人感觉很悲伤。。游戏交互性也很强，解密部分也不会很难，每个人每个场景都有很多东西能交互对话，直到互动到没有新对话以后，再点一下互动的话对话框里会弹可爱的表情图标，我非常喜欢这一点哈哈哈哈很可爱！唯一一点点缺点就是开车很难控制，而且我是手柄玩还偶尔会跳帧开着车视角直接飞天了，但对我来说是一点小问题，不是很频繁，我觉得很好玩！

Very cute, very sweet, very sad ending. Gameplay is relaxed but enjoyable, driving is fun although vehicle feel could be better. Characters are great and the explorable world is beautiful.
I really enjoyed this wee game. The story and characters are engaging and it sort of makes me wish I could keep hanging out Estelle village with Sauge's friends and family. I like the world and the social commentary. It reminds me of Sable although in a smaller setting (although that is not a bad thing here) and more characters tointeract with.
I'm not such a fan of the driving mechanics and the camera spinning round when climbing and traversing the exploration on foot sections is really annoying. More dialogue options in the conversations would be nice. Also, please let us select the render size! My GTX1650ti is struggling to get above 15fps even at 40% render scaling on a 4k laptop, but plugging in an external 1080p doubles that no problem (I play everything else at 1200p).
Overall i really enjoyed this and would be very interested to play something else from the same team.

Super Spiel, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Eine gute Mischung aus Quests und der Möglichkeit entzerrt die Map zu erkunden. Es wird kein Druck aufgebaut, trotzdem hat man das Gefühl voran zu kommen. Die Story finde ich gut und der Grafikstil ist toll. Insgesamt quasi ein gutes "cozy adventure".
I'm a player that adores open world adventure & puzzles games, and not so keen on combat. This game was perfect for me. Driving the caravan was satisfying, the game controlled pretty well, although climbing could be a bit finicky. Good pacing and balance of things to do and find, and an intriguing mystery that I couldn't wait to discover.
i didn't like three things bout this game
1- the game exploration is okay tbh but u can't progress 10 minutes without a long boring interaction with a character and the van isn't really fun to drive.
2-loonnngg boring dialogues with boring soulless characters go fetch item quests.
3- this game will make your pc scream for mercy.
Le petit monde ouvert qu'est Cigalo offre au joueur une aventure faite d'exploration, de résolution de casse-tête et de la narration bienveillante et inclusive.
Cœur de l'expérience, l'exploration se fait au volant de notre van dans un monde Post-Apo désertique à la recherche de composants, simili monnaie du jeu. Les différents points d'intérêt se laissent visiter sans ordre particulier mais certains passages se débloquent au gré des améliorations de notre van à la manière d'un MetroidVania. La carte, petite tout en étant variée, se traverse rapidement et la lassitude ne s'installe jamais pendant la partie.
Sans danger ni mort possible (pas même de dégât de chute) les seuls embûches sur votre chemin sont les casses-têtes à résoudre pour ouvrir une porte, activer un mécanisme, etc... Cela dit, ceux-ci se résolvent aisément pour quiconque a déjà joué à ce genre de jeu.
La narration quant à elle. passe par des personnages attachants dont on explore succinctement les enjeux. Les quêtes permettent aux développeurs de nous parler de sujets très variées de façon simple et tendre tout en ayant un message de fond engagés qui fait du bien.
A delightful game - a kudos to its creators for its visual design, gameplay fidelity, and musical score. It comes together to create a sweet melancholic game which leans into the themes it wishes to explore. It also works fantastic on Steam Deck - and is compatible with Cloud Saves which means I could jump in from my desktop to my Deck and not miss a beat. One of the most enjoyable games I've played this year.

My biggest gripe with Caravan Sandwitch is that its story is incredibly boring. Every piece of writing feels like a first draft that really could have used another pass. There's an item in the game that has the literal description "A glockenspiel that used to belong to a robot". How do we know that? What does that imply for the story? What also doesn't help is that it's not a very challenging game. It's not a bad game, but I cannot recommend it.
I wanted to love this game. The first hour or two are strong but the plateau hits so hard and fast. The beautiful aesthetic may buy you a couple more hours of enjoyment. Everything is just mindless wandering in a world that is almost interesting, doing tasks that are almost fun.
You’re introduced to the story with some urgency and periodically the game reminds you that the clock is ticking, but completely disrespects your time by saddling you with inconsequential side quests and making you go to every location on the map multiple times. By the time you unlock an upgrade in the linear progression chain, any potential excitement is gone, it’s just doldrum of all the chores this means you need to revisit only to realize you still can’t complete many of them until the final upgrade in the chain.
The economy is confounding. You collect processors as a form of currency but the on thing to spend them on is the sparse upgrades which are gated by story progression. Late in the game you unlock an optional customization station to dump processors into but quickly find by this point you have collected far more than even this requires.
Ultimately you’re left, both in narrative and in gameplay, wondering what it was all for. There is a great game in here somewhere, but it is choked out by too many chores and not enough entertainment.

I loved playing this game. I am an explorer by heart and enjoyed every part of the exploration of the map-the puzzles, trying to figure out how to access certain areas. The characters were so colorful and delightful. I enjoyed them so much. There was just the right amount of quests and the story had a good flow to it. I liked that I didn't have to fight hordes of monsters like some other games. It was so very pleasant. I would like to see more games like this in the future. Well done!

The game looks very nice. But the big problem is that it's essentially a walking simulator, where the most important thing is the story. And it's so-so. There are much better options.
This is a good, well paced, chill puzzle game. The vibes are very much in the vain of Firewatch, Journey and The Talos Principle. It is a not overly challenging for experienced puzzle gamers and the average play time would be about 10 hours. I took me a couple of extra hours to 100% the game. The story is deep and very inclusive, paired together with a solid soundtrack make this an all around winner for a casual gamer like myself. For the price of a movie and popcorn you will absolutly get your money's worth.

Decent looking, no conflict, over in 11hrs with 100%. Could have done with more missions and more items to enhance yourself to reach further areas.
This is an okay game. No combat or puzzles whatsoever; it is purely a cozy exploration game with driving elements. I have a lot of issues with the end result, but I can't say that I hated the experience.
The gameplay consists almost exclusively of talking to NPCs, driving to locations, and seeing if you have the right upgrade to explore the area. Some of the dialogue feels like it was translated from another language (I believe the team that made this game is French, so that is likely). The music is fine, but there is no way to intentionally listen to it in-game - like with a radio - which is ironic because there are radios everywhere across the map. The driving is subpar as I am constantly hitting rocks, trees, slopes, invisible walls, and just the general environment. The story doesn't make much progress until the end, and it ramps up quickly. There are bizarre design choices in how you can do things like fast travel and move between underground areas. The Steam Deck runs hot and the frames are choppy at the default settings despite being "Verified" (dropping quality to 'low' and fps to '30' fixes this). The quests can sometimes feel like you are doing something wrong or are not functioning properly, and one of the quests (finding toys for a baby) is not even trackable on the map or on the game's quest tracking system despite being required for two different achievements.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this game despite what I mentioned above. You just have to specifically want this kind of game in order to enjoy it. Driving barren wastelands to find components to give to NPCs for quests is fun in its own way, but there are games that did this much better. But if I had to say yes/no to this game, it would be a 'yes', but only if you want something exactly like this.

Its very washed out the main hub has some nice bits to it but beyond that its just empty space. Building are all this concrete grey. The story is so bad and all the characters have so charm or anything interesting to say or discover in this world. The Driving is bad real bad its feels like driving a toy car that over steers. if im honest that was the hardest part of the game controlling the car! That and the Endless chatter of the Mpc and its all SLOP !!! This game constantly Holds your hand on everything it just sucks the life out of discovering.

Caravan SandWitch was such a great journey. I loved the content and exploration, the adorable characters, and the story. The artwork is so cute too. I had a great time doing all the sidequests so I could get more background story and more information about the main story too. Very heartfelt!
I thought the game was very chill and relaxing for the most part and would definitely recommend it to any that is looking for something not intense and very laid back. My advise: You should explore absolutely every inch of the map.

The game is very laid back and chilled experience. It doesn't take long to play it through, but I think it's just long enough. In the end it was starting to become bit too repetetive, but luckily the game makers had the brains to close up the game instead of prolong it for too long.
I did enjoy playing this game and the visuals of it was amazing. I loved how the devs had used certain color etc to give hints to the player where to go next. The story behind it all was good. It wasn't exceptional, but it was good and kept things interesting.

Simple exploration game but super satisfying. What kept me hooked was learning about the world and lore as I explored. Enjoyed all the side quests too. 10/10.
Très reposant et calme, on ne se sent pas pressé dans le jeu, on peut découvrir autant qu'on le souhaite, les dialogues sont fluides et sympa à lire, je recommande pour passer un bon moment de détente l'exploration casse-tête se laisse prendre en main très facilement.
J'aurais préféré mettre une évaluation neutre, car le jeu en soit est très beau visuellement, les mécaniques sont sympa, les personnages diversifiés et le worldbuilding et les sujets qu'il amène sont intéressants.
Mais l'histoire et particulièrement la fin a été rushé à un point qui m'a surpris. Ce n'est pas une fin ouverte, c'est une fin abrupte. Aussi, il manque à mon avis des succès liés à la collection de tous les composants, sinon leur recherche devient rapidement inutile (il en reste un tas à la fin).
Somme toute, chouette passe temps, mais souffre malheureusement d'un développement hâtif.

Гра дуже одноманітна і швидко набридає, крім приємної візуальної частини фактично більше нічого нема. Їзда з точки А в точку В в пустомі світі, щоб трохи поскакати і вирішити простенькі пазли.
Можливо витягував би сюжет але якось абсолютно не зачіпає, так само як побічні проблеми місцевих лінивих бомжів
很好玩的一款类塞尔达探索冒险游戏（算是那种没有压力的cozy adventure类），半价购入，9小时顺利全成就。可能是刚玩完终末地，对这类探图/找路/寻宝的机制已经熟透了，另一方面也是归功于这游戏精妙的关卡设计，扫荡完一个建筑的所有零件很有成就感。当然，也设置了探索道具门槛，从扫描到钩爪到滑索再到电源，需要不断推进主线才能依次解锁，熟练的玩家（比如我）应该已经知道要先尽快开地图视野，但要等解锁关键探索道具之后再开始详细探索（其实解锁滑索就差不多了，用那个工字电源的地点很少）。另一方面，随着章节的推进，游戏还会贴心提示你哪些限时支线任务还没做，这也是个不错的设计，因为制作探索道具需要零件，但很多零件要高级探索道具才能获取，所以为了打破死循环设立一些确保当下可做的任务是很好的，一方面对推图有一定帮助，完成这些任务后也会送一些零件，这样就能顺利制作探索道具了。再加上在任何地点都可以按R返回车辆（我改成F了，然后把推特设成Q，感觉这样更方便），也没有摔落伤害，车在我的印象里也从没翻过，后期熟悉地图了开车也开烦了还可以利用传送在几个地方之间快速往返，因此游玩体验是十分顺畅的。
虽然玩法很赞，但剧情就比较迷，世界也比较小，世界观没能完整铺开——其实我觉得在物品栏里增加一些补充世界观的日记条目会很不错。而且作为法国制作组，游戏里也是充满了政治正确，主角的双亲是一个老爸和一个老爹，其他NPC也几乎全在搞同性恋，我甚至都没印象游戏里有没有正常的异性恋爱了……
总体上还是不错的类塞尔达探索，如果你刚好想要玩一款开着车（偶尔需要下车步行）探索世界、收集物品、完成委托的放松休闲游戏，那这款游戏应该就是你的菜了。
Finished the game in about 11 hours, taking my time, doing what I wanted. I LOVED it.
Highly recommended for cosy gamers that love a story, exploration, resource gathering and some tasks to fulfil.

Le jeu est chill, vous vous baladez avec votre van à la recherche de votre soeur en ramassant des composants à droite en urbex dans des vieux bâtiments abandonnés, en faisant des quêtes cools en aidant des personnages à droite à gauche et en débloquant au fur et à mesure de nouvelles mécaniques de Gameplay au fur et à mesure que vous avancez dans l'histoire pour élucider le mystère derrière une gigantesque tempête qui est présent non loin de votre village depuis plus de 40 ans.
Le jeu n'est absolument pas difficile, et n'a pas pour objectif de l'être, vous êtes là pour passer un moment vraiment tranquille et à suivre une histoire qui mêle : amitiés, voyage et entraide sur un léger fond écologique.
J'ai mis 18 heures à la platiner (en prenant mon temps), pour faire de même pensez à bien faire toutes les missions du jeu en aidant la communauté !

Peut être pour un enfant, mais pas un adulte. Il n'y a aucune difficulté, on est très très guidé et les ations à faire pour avance sont touours les mêmes. Les quêtes type "ramassage" à rallonge sont très pénible, notamment de devoir chercher des tonnes de composants pour avancer à chaque étape..). Le jeu me semble trop long par rapport au scénario. Je pense qu'il manque un truc au jeu, c'est dommage :/ Les musiques et la DA sont jolis de premier abords mais on s'en lasse vite car très répétitif, là aussi je trouve qu'il manque un truc...
Par contre, la diversité des personnages est remarquable, ça fait du bien à voir ! :)

Just not for me. I see the vision but the writing is just so bleh. I cant figure out how to describe it other than bland safe and boring.
The art style and music are very nice. I like the saturated colours.
I just cant stand this paint by numbers everyone is a special snowflake, so unique vibe this game is going for.

Jogo com história incrível, personagens cativantes e pecualiares. A ambientacao, puzzles, desafios, sao bem elaborados e mesmo que algumas mecanicas se repitam, é necessario pensar e se adaptar a cada capitulo.

I completed the game 100% before writing this review. The story is average and the endings feel like they just wanted to finish development as fast as possible. The mechanics are very repetitive, involving a lot of material gathering to upgrade your caravan. Exploration is the best part of the game; however, it’s aggravating when the game forces you to stop exploring just because you spoke to a character and are now stuck on a fetch quest.
Additionally, there is far too much [b]unnecessary conversation[/b] between characters. This game also pushes [b]representation[/b]: the main character has two dads and her friend uses [i]they/them[/i] pronouns. There are several pride flags, just enough to be distracting and annoying. I would [b]not[/b] recommend buying this, especially since you can finish the game in 4 to 5 hours, or 8 hours if you aim for 100% completion.

Caravan SandWitch foi uma experiência muito agradável. O jogo tem gráficos lindos, personagens carismáticos e uma gameplay divertida e relaxante. Gostei bastante da exploração e da atmosfera que ele cria, além da mensagem de conexão, reconstrução e esperança que passa ao longo da jornada. Meu único porém é que a tradução e as legendas em português estão meio estranhas em alguns momentos. Tirando isso, é um jogo muito bom e uma ótima experiência para quem gosta de exploração e jogos mais tranquilos.
公路收集小开放世界，没有战斗，主要就是收集零件解锁更多能力，探索更多区域。玩起来很休闲放松，主角无跌落伤害和一键回载具的功能真挺方便的！当然后期地图开完了要继续收集零件推进主线会有一点罐头感。剧情就不用期待了，说实话有点迷惑...最后竹篮打水一场空，篮子也被破坏了的体验
A wonderful game with enough to do to keep you engaged without it feeling overwhelming. The characters are lovely and the story is rich. The driving mechanic is very sensitive but once you get used to it there's basically no issue.
I cried at multiple points throughout the game from a variety of emotions. All around a good linear story game with exploration elements.

Adventure game with a bit of guilt for leaving behind people and then coming back, is very good. Worldbuilding is solid, and I wanted to spend as much time as I could in this masterfully polished game.
It's extremely well made, the attention to detail is visible everywhere and bleeds through the whole experience.

The game is OK, environment is very pretty, the story is fine, but my brain kept autocorrecting the main characters name to Sausage which honestly made the whole experience better.
This is so clearly a game made with love, I absolutely adore it. If you're a fan of open world exploration I cannot recommend it enough.
It has a wonderful peaceful atmosphere with a captivating story and a lot of effortless queer and NB representation in characters that are built up a lot more than just their label.
I almost didn't buy it because of some of the negative reviews but I'm so glad I did (I got it on sale for 50% off, I might struggle to justify the full price of it but if you can get a discount for it I absolutely recommend it). It gave me around 8 and a half hours of solid playtime and is the type to make you want to 100% the game whilst not making that goal impossible. I loooove it and if you're on the fence about it, I recommend getting it anyway! You'll find out within the first couple hours if it's your thing and if you're not into it by then, you can still refund it.

Schönes und entspanntes Game.
Ich hatte eigentlich ein Schlauchlevel-Abenteuer erwartet - und ein Mini-OpenWorld-Explorer-Adventure bekommen.
Es gibt keinerlei Gefahren oder Fights, keine QTE Herausforderungen oder sonstige Challenges. Einfach nur eine schöne comic-artige Welt mit lieben Charakteren und einer charmanten Musik erkunden, Schrott einsammeln, NPCs helfen und mit dem Caravan durch die Gegend fahren (und irgendwo feststecken oder sich über komische Speed-Momentums aufregen^^). Leichte Metroidvania-Vibes schweben auch mit, da man nach und nach neue Fähigkeiten freischaltet und bereits besuchte Orte weiter entdecken kann.
Die Story ist solala, aber das Entdecken steht hier klar mitsamt den süßen Chars im Vordergrund. Hat mich gut unterhalten für ca. 8h!

Beautiful game.
There is something about games that emphasise exploration of strange worlds with beautiful and melancholic music in the background that I love, especially when they are as pretty and well-crafted as this one.
While the story and characters are interesting in their own right, you'll most likely pick this game up because of how jaw-droppingly gorgeous every place you travel to is.
Everything in this world looks as though it's been painted on a canvas.
Unfortunately, I didn't like the ending very much. It's short, leaves a lot unexplained, and in the end it doesn't make much sense.
Ultimately, it reminds me of games like Sable and Jusant, so if you liked those and can overlook a disappointing ending, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
