Got the base game during Spring Sale and was hooked for 40 hours and then got all the DLC because I got bored fixing up rust buckets over and over.

You develop mastery of basic car problem diagnosis and hit a flow state where you just repair all the cars as fast as possible while chilling out to your custom tunes on the in-game radio.
It's that good!
This game is pure drugs XD

Tons of customization, car diagnosis, and parts repairs.
Mini games are annoying, but they can be removed via mods.

Really needs more maps and better car handling.
I believe their next iteration CMS 2026 will have that and open world.

Super fun game if you're into puzzle solving, repair mechanics, and car restoration.
Reminds me of MTV's Pimp My Ride!

Les améliorations au niveau des manipulations souris et raccourcis depuis la version 2018 sont extras. Les détails comme l'ajout des fluides moteurs, boite à fusible, montage de pneus, ajout de machines en atelier........ enfin bref il y a beaucoup de choses qui rendent le simulateur plus immersif.
A découvrir pour les ceux qui aiment la belle mécanique car même s'il est de 2021, il a encore bien sa place le le top du genre.

Costs more than CMS 2018. Has less than a third of the workshop car mods than CMS 2018. Has annoying mini-game mechanic everywhere. Every other bolt is stuck and needs (cough..cough) WD-O4 applied. Takes forever to load with car mods subscribed compared to CMS 2018. Has manual shifting but only using shoulder buttons on x-box controller and not remappable. Race tracks obscured by dust storms, hazy. Costs 3x more than CMS 2018 even on sale. CMS2018 has more built in parking (as much as you can afford or your CPU can handle) to better build your "Jay Leno" car collection than CMS 2021. CMS 2018 has more IRL cars via steam workshop. BUY CMS 2018 not CMS 2021.

Se tiver a DLC drag é melhor ainda! Vai por mim, vale muito a pena.

DLC's que eu recomendo: Sem dúvidas DRAG --> acrescenta carros e mecânicas novas... Quem gosta de "xuning" é muito bom.
porsche --> motor diferenciado, dá bastante dinheiro
mazda --> rotativo, excelente pra motar do zero
nissan --> quem não gosta de uns geteco

Uma dica para quem gostaria de jogar com amigos: Não tem coop, mas com mods você consegue jogar! Tem bugs, pode perder progresso, mas mesmo assim é divertido.

Once you run out of money, it is impossible to finish any other car.
Yes you can change liquids and make "free" repairs, but it takes forever to make a few CR.
It would be nice to be able to loan money from a bank or something.

For me the game was freezing until i changed to windowed mode.
Game has some irritatig rules. You must repair car parts for certain %, for egzample if the car has to be repaired to 73 % and you leave one small element with 72 % you will have to place it and sometimes you will have to do things all over again. Or when some part was 80 % and you put 79% cause you had one in inventory.
Other than that this is great game for people that dont know cars. You can see what part you install when you hover over parts. Engines are simplified so you can make repairs faster, there are no sensors or conections to filters and such.

While the graphics have seen a slight bump, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 ultimately feels like a repetitive grind that fails to fix the long-standing issues of the series. The gameplay loop quickly turns into a tedious chore because you spend far too much time clicking through clunky, nested menus and watching the same unscrewing animations over and over again. It is incredibly frustrating that the game still relies on a "find the hidden part" mechanic that forces you to dismantle half the car just to find one tiny rusted clip that wasn't highlighted correctly.
Furthermore, for a 2021 release, it feels more like a DLC for the 2018 version rather than a true sequel, as it recycles way too many assets and animations without adding meaningful depth to the actual diagnosis process. The physics during the test drives remain floaty and unrealistic, making the driving portion of the sim feel like an afterthought. Unless you are a die-hard fan who doesn't mind doing the exact same tasks for a hundred hours, the lack of innovation and the cumbersome UI make this hard to recommend over its predecessors.

In the 13 hours I've played so far, I've learned a lot about the inner workings of a car (especially the engine). I can almost say I am confident I can do some of the basic things to maintain vehicles irl without having to go to a specialist.

Ponad jeśli masz dosyć swojej nudnej roboty na warsztacie pojazdów mechanicznych to, możesz być w szoku ale dzięki tej grze możesz po godzinach powrócić do tego co wykonujesz przez 12h na warsztacie u Janusza, z tą różnicą, że tutaj nie wkręcisz klientowi używanych 60 letnich świec, ani nie wlejesz starego zużytego oleju po frytkach zamiast świeżego silnikowego. Jeśli już mowa o plusach to w tej rozgrywce za każde zlecenie dostaniesz o wiele większe wynagrodzenie niż za swoją pracę irl. Tak więc same plusy i zero minusów. Polecam i pozdrawiam.

The game was really fun at the beginning — everything felt new and interesting. During my first 40 hours I enjoyed the gameplay a lot, but after that I already had over a million credits and around level 20. I had repaired most of the cars I liked, and the game slowly became boring.

There aren’t many truly good cars in the game, and a lot of the brands feel uninteresting. I also started the game with top‑tier cars like Lamborghini, BMW, and Dodge, so I never really had a reason to work on simple cars like Honda or older budget models. Because of that, the progression felt too fast and not very satisfying.

I hope Car Mechanic Simulator 2026 will be more exciting — with features like driving to a store to buy parts, open multiplayer with friends, and much better engine and exhaust sounds that accurately match each specific car, plus the ability to customize the exhaust system based on sound. It would also be great to have a real junkyard where you can drive in with your own car, buy damaged vehicles, rebuild them, and sell them — and with extremely rare chances to find top‑tier cars like Lamborghini. That would make the grind feel meaningful and much more fun.

Классная штука этот ваш симулятор автомобилей. Как человек ни хрена не разбиравшийся раньше в машинах, скажу что пройдя даже простое обучение вы что то и начнете понимать. Изначально покупал игру именно ради того чтобы не выполнять приказы клиентов, а что бы собирать всякий хлам, чинить его, и продавать (вещи, и машины), сюжет не сильно затянул только по этой причине. Разочаровало только одно, после того как соберешь мощный мотор, то там вместо грозного рева, слышишь обрывающийся звук двигателя из роблокса
