- A prova de que misturar SWAT com zumbis é o que acontece quando o RH da empresa decide fazer um treinamento de crise em um domingo de chuva.
Aqui o bicho pega um pouco mais. Como é um mundo "aberto" (entre muitas aspas), meu PC de escritório dá umas engasgadas como se estivesse tentando ler um PDF de 2GB. Mas, com os gráficos no médio-baixo, a batata aguenta a jornada. É mais profundo e ambicioso que o primeiro, mas exige um pouco mais de paciência (e hardware). Se você gosta de tática e não se importa de ver seus soldados de elite correndo de um bicho gigante que parece um cruzamento de um tanque com uma almôndega, esse jogo é para você.

The sound design adds to this tension with echoing gunfire, guttural screams, and a moody ambient soundtrack that reinforces the sense of danger. Despite these strengths, the game’s presentation is hindered by technical limitations. Texture quality is inconsistent, animations can be stiff, and environmental assets are reused frequently. It's execution isn't going to blow your mind.

People complaining the zombies respawn as soon as you leave/re-enter a zone - yet this seems to be a standard in some games even now and its zombie- i'd rather have too many of them and it feel like an actual zombie apocalypse situation of never ending zombies rather than kill 5 zombies then the area is clear for ever.

It's not like you are overwhelmed with hordes when they respawn, you kill them, you leave the area, you come back and there are another 5 or 10 to kill... Why buy the game if not to kill zombies?

Not a huge fan of the camera angle at times

For less than a tenner it's worth it, even more so if you pick it up on offer for €1 - People willing to pay for loot crates and skins but complain even at this price.

Да, теперь вам не просто нужно убивать врагов, но и избавляться от ходячих мертвецов, как будто они застряли в вашей таинственной бургерной, и их призывают брать с собой меню «ультра-тосты».

Разработчики сделали очень умное решение — добавить к тактическому компоненту элементы roguelike, что позволяет не только дополнительно играть в стратегию, но и каждый раз удивляться, как надежно ваш отряд был замешан в зомби-маскараде. Каждый раз, когда вы начинаете новую миссию, вы фактически в лотерее — получится ли у вас собрать боевую команду или ослепленные мертвецы схватят вас за рубашку и попросят купить их единорогов. Это добавляет сумасшедшую динамику, ведь каждая попытка увенчивается новыми героями и специфическими способами расправы над врагами, подобно тому, как вы пробуете новый рецепт кухонного адреналина.

Визуальная часть игры ухватила за пытливый глаз. Уровни сделаны красочно и не слишком однообразно, здесь можно встретить как старые добрые помещения, так и сложные закоулки зомби-катастрофы. Вам не просто нужно будет расчистить путь своим бойцам, вы еще будете аккуратно расчистить путь между зомби, которые обожают медленно «проплывать» в вашем направлении, как на вечеринке, когда уже все в алкогольном угаре.

Как и в предшественнике, вы всё еще можете самим управлять командой, выбирать тактику и стратегию, но теперь есть возможность прокачивать бойцов, как будто вы готовите их к чемпионату по тяжелой атлетике. Остальные отряды будут шастать по темным уголкам, а вы, как строгий родитель, будете указывать «черепам» и «платформам» тренироваться. Мы все знаем, что у омерзительных зомби есть свои заветные мечты, так зачем бы не помочь им на пути к саморазвитию с кастете?

Одна из основных новинок — режим «Волны». Если с волнениями в «Breach & Clear» дело обстояло более спокойно, то в «Deadline Rebirth» вам придется метнуться через постоянно растущие потоки зомби, как будто у вас забрали любимую игрушку в детстве. Это добавляет консистенцию веселья, обостряющее каждое ваше решение до предела.

Конечно, игра не обошлась без свою тактическую составляющую. Вы сможете планировать действия своей команды, как будто подбираете лучший набор для вечеринки. Однако теперь вполне возможно, что вместо тортов и коктейлей в вашей стратегии будет зомби с подмёткой, которая не слишком рада вашему кулинарному искусству.

Reminds a bit on a Diablo.
Definitely not perfect: Overview maps are misleading and wrong.
Control over time and random item spawns including rare items makes the game interesting.
Unfortunately you can't stop it at any time without loosing progress but at save points only.

I'm rating this positive because I'm looking at it as a cheap, mindless game to screw around with to kill time and nothing more (and by cheap, I mean get it on sale. It is NOT worth the normal $10 price tag). Consider this a negative review if there's no sale available. Either way, I kinda had some fun with it, and it was worth getting on sale for $1.

Starting with the good:
-Can play it on a potato computer fine.
-Visuals aren't too bad.
-A half decent amount of weapons along with attachments.
-A simple upgrade system.
-Open roaming maps. Go where you want for the most part. Heck, the game rewards this if you're a loot goblin and you manage to find some really good weapons before getting into the "story"/quests.
-A simple RPG-like system. Gain XP, spend it on various skills.
-Not difficult at all. Good for mindlessly chilling.

...and now the things I hate:
-The AR15's in this game either are all illegally modified to be automatic (not to mention having better stats than a lot of actual assault rifles) or the devs have no knowledge about it. Should instead be a bottom tier rifle to fit the actual thing.
-Why are weapons using 9mm rounds doing a lot more damage than .45 rounds (example, P38 does noticeably more damage than the 1911).
-In general the developers seem to have never touched any firearm or have done practically no research. Stats seem to be randomly assigned across the board with little to no basis on how the weapons function IRL.
-Your AI squad members have trouble moving around on their own if there are enemies present.
-Despite the game being called Breach and Clear, you cannot issue commands to your squad of what to do after breaching a door. You have to breach the door then immediately pause the game to issue commands.

I know a lot of people hated this game because they went into it with the original breach and clear game. However the game is fun and its a nice zombie vs the military type of tactical game. If youre anything like i was you hesitate on it because you arent sure because opf thye comments. im here to say go for it. i did and im having a blast plus the game is like 2GB. im sure you can spare the space.

TLDR; if you are in a latin country using an AZERTY keyboard... it won't be playable.

It works with QWERTY keys by default, there is a menu to change the keys, but also a bug/issue when you try to change anything : it's possible to change every single key by any button of a mouse, but NOT by a key of the keyboard...

That's what should happened but it doesn't... unless you click on your mouse.

So I just tried to play a few minutes but playing with WASD on a AZERTY keyboard... it just doesn't make it.
I'm playing with AZERTY since ages, modify keybindings is just part of the habits... but here you actually need a QWERTY keyboard to play.

Generally a boring game, its repetitive with allot of backtracking and the enemies will respawn in areas you left 5 seconds ago so it doesn't feel like you actually do anything by fighting them.

This is an overlooked and great game of the mid-2010's turn-based and isometric real-time modern games rush. It has a unique gameplay mechanic, with these pause and plan, then play out turns in a cinematic style. If the zombies and catastrophic casualty count do not bring you to tears, then it is probable that the short campaign, just maybe 20 hours, will.
One issue that this game approaches in an interesting manner is the concept that if DnD style turn-based games are similar to chess, with a sorcerer like a rook, couple of pawns and a knight taking on a variety of usually one or two types of enemies, then the addition of a mostly gun-wielding crew basically turns everyone on both sides into rooks and bishops. Zombies make that a flood of pawns. I am kind of surprised there have not been a few more takes on that as a gaming concept.
The biggest improvement that this game offers in terms of the franchise is the addition of an open-world to explore. With such a short campaign, though, this does not make it competitive against the great releases of the time-period.

I honestly wish I could say something positive here...

Got the game on sale for 2€ - but aside of "It could be a fun top down turn based game like the original Breach & Clear" there's just too many issues even for that price.

For the positives that I've seen in my rather short time:

+ The "command" mode is a step up from the system Breach & Clear had been using (if they'd not have you hold space to progress time by default, do yourself a favour and switch it to start/stop immediately if you'd end up buying the game). Even tho it's a bit strange that you constantly switch between moving the characters and the strategy mode if you enter or leave combat.

+ You can actually play it as a top down shooter (I have it as a plus but its honestly not really great and/or worth doing, its just a nice to have).

Well... now to the negatives:

- Upgrading stuff doesnt have a confirmation prompt - or really anything that tells you what it does. So you'll probably end up like me and wonder what it does just to realize your scrap being gone without having any clue what happened now apart from a "weapon level" bar moving up a tiny bit.

- The camera likes to randomly go up higher and change angle a bit if it collides with an asset (no, seriously, it actually goes up from a small barrier just to instantly go down, it actually gets annoying after a while - and that while being pretty quickly).

- At first it runs fine... but as soon as you reach the safe house it somehow just starts stuttering. And continues to do so after getting out - in fact, I'm actually writing this review, right now, after dealing with the stutters for 10 minutes just for the game to randomly crash in my 2nd encounter after reaching the safezone.

Any further stuff? I'll keep it updated if I manage to get the game running proper and be able to see more of it. (Including a fix if I ever find one).

false promises.

I bought this game BECAUSE of Co-Op and it was faulty at best, but it was still enjoyable despite that.. It needed some tweaking.. but Instead of fixing it they are removed it and basicly advertised false information. It just feels unjustified as there was no way to get compensation to refund the game at the time despite how significantly the game changed.

I will not purchase another game from these devs and will tell my friends to do the same. What a joke. Not professional at all.

I haven't played Breach & Clear, so I am writing this review based solely on this game (which I got on sale for $0.99). For the ridiculously low price, and without comparisons to the first, this is a great little zombie killin' game.

You control a four man squad running missions in a zombie infested city with the occasional pesky survivor-raider trying to muck things up for you.

There is gear and weapon customization, some crafting elements, and a decently varied skill-tree. The controls are smooth, the game is glitch-free, and the content is solid (at nearly eight hours in, I've only scratched the surface). The story is rather basic, though, and there isn't much tension or horror to it; it's far more of a shooter.

So, if you're not comparing it to the first, this one is a solid entry in the zombie genre at a killer price.

Мне нравится жанр полу-пошаговых стратежек про спецназ аля Door Kickers. Breach and clear по своему понравился, не без минусов. Увидев эту игру, и увидев что она про зомбей стало интересно, как в таком режиме сделают сражения против зомбей.

По итогу, система перемещений, укрытий, дистанций, ушла куда то в лес, от зомбей отстреливаться не интересно (тупо встал в угол и толпой мансишь по локации), бои против бандитов кривые (несколько раз бандит забегал в стену откуда отлично отстреливал моих бойцов а я в него даже гранату не мог кинуть)

ну и ко всему, другие игры дают купить пушки и вещи за успехи в миссиях (звёзды в основном), а тут это тупо гринд ящиков

Bought it for co-op and hopefully an updated breach and clear thought it was stupid they made a zombie game but, I liked the first one. I waited over a year for them to fix co-op because it was so laggy and unplayable and the lots of bugs and clunk in the game, then they removed co-op. Since I had waited over a year, I could not refund the game. The game it self is clunky and boring, with no real progression and pretty much everything you liked about breach and clear removed or has no purpose. Don't support this developer or publisher in anyway.

Отличная, мрачная военная атмосфера, очень подходящая под настрой музыка, апокалиптическое настроение, напоминает старый добрый Горький 17, но с гораздо более крутой графикой. Взрывпакет и подавление - самые нужные умения, остальное не так эффективно. Однако опасность в игре представляют в основном наемники и бандиты, так как зомби слабые и медленные, могут разве что чуток поранить налетая всей ордой. Самое лучшее для этой игры - это выпуск аддонов с войной против бандитов в зданиях и на улицах, а так же с кооперативом против наемников-ботов и живых людей, тогда эта игра станет сложней и намного интересней. А пока что в плане тактики игра довольно бестолковая, но вот атмосфера у нее на высоком уровне. Ради нее стоит поиграть.

Because my auto save file corrupted I had to start over first chapter again I suggest to make back -up save before Your squad members enter hidout of US military in a SECOND PART of the game....When I found a squad of survived US Marines in their hidden place...I quit to main manu. Day after I tried to load the game and continue but when the game had loaded the basement I could't move my squad within place...BE SURE TO NOT QUIT game DURING CONVERSATION WITH ENCOUNTERED MARINES AND REMEMBER TO SAVE GAME BEFORE ENTERING THIS PLACE AND AFTER that. Even with this "small" issues this game is great and I would put 8/10 for this product...

As someone who enjoyed the original Breach and Clear, I just cannot recommend this game, it feels like they got way to ambitious and tried to turn it into a story/dialog driven tactical RPG loot shooter but it fell incredibly short on almost every front. If you think this is more Breach and Clear style action, STAY AWAY...

Zombie killing fun!

I have no idea why there a negative reviews. Not one!

This is so much fun.

You create a squad, you equip them with uniforms, armor, head gear, main and side weapon.
You prepare 4 quick slots for inventory usage, but can always use the inventory with some more clicks.
You have more classes than you can use and when your guys (no girls, sorry) level up you can select the perks they get.

The active skill is chosen through the class selection, the passive skills are chosen in the skill tree.

You have two ways to fight.

1. Select one of the guys, hold the right mouse button to get the gun in position and then either move or shoot.
2. Press "ctrl/strg" for control mode then give your guys commands like "move there, then look in that direction", "use this quick skill", "use this skill" and so forth. You can even chain commands. Meaning, you can have them always point their weapons in the correct direction while moving from point to point. Then you hold "space" to unpause and let them kill their enemies.

Both ways are great. I am never sure which one to choose because both are so much fun.

You loot chests on the street to get new weapons, gear, equipment, ammunition and so on.

Once I "lost" three of my four men. The fourth man did the whole mission alone. When he went back to the safe house all the squad members were revived. That was so brutal. Doing the mission alone which was for 4 guys! But the experience he got! So envious!

The game is just great.
If you like to kill zombies and feel like a boss, get it.

If you need brutal challenges and very difficult puzzles go somewhere else.

If you liked to equip your guys in "Jagged Alliance - Back in Action" and like to plan your moves there, chances are high you will feel like this is the light version of it for action, action and ... yeah... action.

There is - so far - no crouching, no stealth, no real tactics, you go and find a good spot, then you mow down the enemies.

I don't like human enemies with weapons, there I have to think a bit :-)

But I totally like zombies. KILL!

A squad based custom kit, tacticool setup. Kill zombies with overwatch placement and M4A1's with IR lasers. Rebirth is an overhaul of most of the game's aspects and they removed the online co-operative mode for some reason.

I can see what people mean when they say it's a "slog", but honestly, it's good enough if you are bored and you specifically want a military-themed shooter blended with zombies. Generic, sure, but if all you're after is shooting idiots and monsters for sport, this'll satisfy that well enough.

The dungeons especially are the most painful, not only incredibly samey layouts where there are only 2 or 3 different room types copy-pasted across 20 floors per dungeon, but usually at the end there's some kind of "boss floor" that I am still not entirely sure how to beat short of actual cheating with RAM injections. The upgrading would be cool in theory, but in practice that is particularly painful doing it fair-and-square because the "scrap" you loot is barely enough to cover your bullet costs, unless you switch to all-pistol specifically to save up scrap for upgrading loot. My advice? Unlimited scrap, shortcut this in any way you can so you can just get to the fun of shooting fools.

DO NOT come here if you're looking for deep lore or story; it's serviceable to the most fundamental extent and that's all you're going to get. Some people die, there's one or two survivors who mourn lost family, we have only a couple sentences GRAND TOTAL explaining the "infection" found on the loading screens (maybe a paragraph or two), and your elite combat unit needs to wipe out cancerous life. Lots of people die, but you get the job done. The end.

In short, I absolutely understand why we're seeing "mixed" ratings, and do feel the *overall* experience is very "meh", but if there's one unquestionably positive point, they got the epic voice saying "BREACH AND CLEAR, DEADLINE!" Like, that's the same voice that says the more iconic, "Good Luck, COMMANDER!"

El juego basicamente consiste en comandar una persona (en el multiplayer si es que estaba) o a un grupo de personas, en un apocalipsis zombie, donde aparentemente debes huir y salvarte la vida (aunque no queda muy claro de que va la historia basicamente), el juego es bastante largo, tiene mapas medianamente bien hechos y pensados, me hace acordar a los mapas de wc3 de zombie escape y demas, tenes varias misiones para realizar pero nada menor, todo lineal, poca customizacion de personajes, algunos Cofres con drops como municion y armas, posibilidad de Mejorar armas ej punteria, alcance, daño etc - Radar de orientacion que te dice por donde ir (muy util en niveles oscuros que hay que abrir puertas)

Mecanica de seleccionar donde deben pararse los tipos para tener una posicion de tiro, variedad bastante decente de armas, Equipamiento personalizado de cada persona ej. Sombrero, Chaleco, etc., posibilidad de colocar minas y armar una mini estrategia de posicionamiento de los personajes, poderes a medida que suben de nivel y mejoras pasivas (limite de 4 tengo entendido).

La verdad el juego es muy repetitivo y aburrido en algunos momentos pero es bastante safable dentro de todo.

Mereceria un voto neutral pero no existe esa opcion, tiene cosas buenas y cosas malas, solo si sos fan de esto como ej. el Alien Swarm, compralo y jugalo!.

играть я начал именно с этой части и она мне понравилась... но потом я попробовал первую часть и даже не знаю что сказать... в первой часть хотя бы воюешь с террористами, более как-то современно, а еще можно стволы красить... во второй части вроде как то попытались все улучшить, но ЗАЧЕМ то запихали зомби, ЗАЧЕМ?! и нельзя красить стволы... а еще хоть и завезли Русский язык, но не удосужились добавить Русских шрифтов, когда переименовываешь отряд, членов отряда и оружие... но а в целом игра не плоха, из-за таких отличий от первой части ее не за чем хейтить... позже, думаю, поиграю еще... но вот эти зомби... ЗАЧЕМ??

I would recommend the game but only when you'll get it on a good sale for small price. The concept is somewhat generic but mechanics are quite good after a while of using (note: totally different from previous B&C) - so it can give you a couple of hours of fun play time. The game lacks polishing in many aspects (clunky AI and enemies, poor UI and settings, not too engaging story) - but buying it cheap should feel as OK. If you change music in the background (original is bit boring) for something more cinematic like I did - it will definitely boost the very mediocre story. Fun fact: I used "tactical" mode only when really needed, it was way more challenging and fun shooting the single soldier live and let team follow (clunky as they are they can shoot effectively)- probably not authors intention ;) but for me this is lifting somewhat the gameplay. Game is really not bad and quite OK, when you accept very different idea for B&C - yet some more love for the scenarios, music and darker atmosphere could really elevate it from being yet another zombie shooter. For B&C 3 however (if ever would happen) I would wish "realistic" set up and mechanics again.

Etant un grand fan de jeu de stratégie, j'avais déjà joué au 1er il y a quelques années.

Faites évoluer votre escouade et venez a bout des zombies, en soit rien de bien exceptionnel mais j'ai trouver ce jeu très prenant.
Vous pouvez personnaliser quasiment tout, du vos casques, a vos armes et même vos tenus.
Partez a la recherche de matériels de plus grande qualité et venez a bout des différents donjon proposer.

Mais ne penser pas en sortir indemne, faites attention devant mais aussi derrière vous.

Très bon petit jeu pour passer le temps, les graphismes restent très correct et la difficulté est assez présente (certaines fois) et pour 10€ vous ne serez pas déçu si vous aimez la stratégie et dégommer des hordes de zombie.

Fast das gleiche Prinzip wie der 1. Teil, nur wurde hier endlich etwas besser gemacht. Es lässt sich gefühlt deutlich schneller spielen. Was im Vorgänger zu langsam ging geht hier genau richtig! I did enjoy the hybrid setup of this game and the patient to level up one's character and equipment. It's my first time playing this type of game.

With that said I did encounter quite a lot of bugs and there were things lacking to this game when compared to the first B&C. I kinda felt let down that the ending is just that and nothing else.

I was hoping the matlabs is part of the story or something but it was left out entirely. The ending should have allowed the player to choose what ending they wish to have and have additional play through.

The factions as well, I hoped there was a reward and penalty which faction to choose like callum vs the cultist.

Breach & Clear: Deadline Rebirthとは、様々な作品の面白い要素をすべて一つのタイトルに纏めたら神ゲーが出来上がるんじゃね？と思って実際に作ってみたら、あんまり面白くならなかったゲームである。分隊ベースのストラテジーとゾンビアポカリプスって喰い合わせが悪い気がするんだけど、なにか本作独自の工夫があるんだろうか、と思ったら、まさに何の工夫もない見たままのものが出てきた、通称「デラぶりちん」。
タクティカル・シムと見下ろし型アクションの融合、ゾンビの大群や武装した兵士といった多彩な敵、広大なMAP探索にハック＆スラッシュ風のアイテム収集、RPG風の成長要素に複数のスキルツリーとユニークな各種スキル…それぞれを部分的に切り取ってみれば、たしかに面白くなりそうな要素が集まってるように見える。では、実際のところはどうか？
火力による面制圧が最適解であるゾンビの大群を相手に戦術もクソもなく、人間の敵はこちらの攻撃が当たらない位置からバシバシと弾を当ててくる。やたらに広いMAPの移動はゲームプレイの大半を占め、バリエーションの少ない装備品の収集に楽しみはあまりない。アクションゲーム風の操作はそれ自体が面白いものではなく、戦術モードへの切り替えにあたって無駄に煩雑な手間がかかるため、「これ、いるか？」と思うことしきり。
あれもこれもと取り入れた結果、ブクブクに贅肉のついた肥満体で苦しいマラソンをするような感覚を覚える本作は、例えるなら野球のボールでサッカーをプレイするようなものである。素直に野球をすればいいのでは…PC用に強化されたグラフィック、ブラッシュアップされた戦術システムを使い、素直にBreach & Clear 2を作ればよかったのでは？という声が挙がるのも無理からぬことだろう。

さて、本作が「Rebirth」の名を冠している理由…脱アーリー後にレビューが炎上した理由でもある…にも一応触れておこう。
かつて本作がただの「Breach & Clear: Deadline」だった頃、アーリーアクセス時代にはCOOPモードが搭載予定であり、未完成ではあったが実装もされていた。しかし技術的な問題が解決できず、COOPモードを削除するさい、「これは最初からシングルプレイ専用のタイトルですよ。COOPなんかありませんよ」というていで「Breach & Clear: Deadline Rebirth (2016)」としてRebirthした、要するに内容量の減ったお菓子が「おいしくなって新登場！」するのと同じ理屈である。
これに対し、COOPモード目当てで購入したユーザーが「詐欺じゃねぇか！」とキレた。まあ、そういうことがあったようだ。
本作のシステムをCOOPで動かすことの技術的ハードルの高さ、要素の削除という決断をくだすさい、開発チームが被る可能性のある風評被害への対策を講じた出版社の意図も、理解できなくはない（失敗したが…）。個人的に、このあたりのゴタゴタについてどうこう物を申す気はない。

では、なぜサムズダウン評価なのか？というと、単純な話で、プレイしていて面白くなかったからである。
ゲーム開始直後から「面白くないな…」と思いながらプレイを進め、しばらくプレイを続行したのち、「ああ、これたぶん面白くならないな…」という直感とともに、プレイを断念した。これは出来の良し悪しとか、作り込みがどうのといった評価とはまたベクトルの異なる話である。

Breach & Clear: Deadline Rebirthとは…Rebirthの名を冠してはいるが、実際にはRebirthに失敗したゾンビであり、その代償として開発チームも死んでしまった悲しき作品である。Steamに星の数ほどあるインディーゲームの中には、「着眼点は悪くなかったが、見通しが甘かった、磨き上げが足りなかった」というような作品が非常に多い。しかし本作の場合は、そもそも「着眼点が良くなかった」のではないだろうか。
面白くないとは言ったが、本作をプレイしているあいだは、たしかに「開発チームは優れたゲームを作ろうとしていたのだろう」という気概を感じることができる。だからこそ、胸を刺されたような悲しみを覚えるのだ。

Even on easy you will NOT win a gunfight against the AI mercenaries/cultists. The average damage your characters do per shot is 14-18, the average shot the AI does is 22. The first Breach and Clear was better, this one was just another attempt to cash in on the zombie craze.

多年前，201X年在游侠网上接触到本作的早期版本，当时透露着一种半成品赶工的气息，不过由于是火线突破的续作，而且是早期版本，也就没太在意，也因为题材新颖，游戏方式亮眼，很有意思，所以就在脑海里留下了一点记忆，前几天和朋友聊起一些老游戏，才隐约记起了这个游戏，于是花了很长时间才搜到名字，一来STEAM搜寻，就找到了，想到那么多年过去了，这游戏也该完成了吧，而且只要3块钱，毫不犹豫的拿下，于是。。。。。。。

这游戏本可以做的很有意思，本可以.........

但是这玩意，我真的不推荐，真的，哪怕才3块钱
