Blameless is a mysterious first-person adventure with primary focus on puzzle solving and short story. The player will appear in a role of an architect trying to investigate strange happenings, after discovering evidence of an act of violence.
Playing in a role of a young architect, you are asked by an unknown man to help with some design decisions in the interior of his unfinished house. Accepting the legitimate request, you are taken to the house the same evening. Wandering about the interior, you notice a slight detail with your trained eye and turn to the man to tell him about blood stains spilled on the floor. That's when you get hit in the head, falling to the floor, passed out. When you wake, the man’s gone. Your phone is smashed and the only door out is locked. You are no hero, but there's no other choice than to investigate the strange whatabouts yourself. Looking around, your architect instinct tells you that you don’t really need to open the door in order to pass through…

Honestly it is a decent game I brought it as a teen and couldn't figure it out so I deleted it - not wanting to be spoiled by a video demonstration - A few years later I have now re-downloaded the game and completed it with all achievements in under an hour or so? Though I'd like it if there was other maps ? levels 10/10 game
Увы, но это очень скучно. Набор простеньких головоломок с поиском предметов на 40 минут без какой-либо угрозы для игрока. [spoiler] 5 секунд погони перед самым финалом не учитываем[/spoiler] Сюжет для галочки, пытается в детектив, но и после финала определенно останутся вопросы.
Хоррор попытались построить на мрачных темных комнатах в недостроенном заброшенном участке вкупе с "тревожащим" звуковым сопровождением, однако по итогу атмосфера не чувствуется. Ведь, как уже было сказано, никакой угрозы нет. Спокойно в своем темпе шарое6имся по участку в поисках, куда же засунуть очередной найденный предмет.
В общем, даже потраченного времени не стоит, даже учитывая, что игра бесплатная. Лучше пройти мимо.

The game is fine for what it is. It's a solo developer making a puzzle/mystery game. It's not anything that's gonna blow you away, seeing as the average person is likely to beat it in about 10-15 minutes but I do still think it's worth giving a shot.

For the record, I don't do well with horror/suspense games. I'm a complete wuss when it comes to things like jump scares. I honestly can't handle it. My excuse is Covid weakened my heart considerably.
Regarding this game, I was expecting jump scares something crazy, but luckily for me, there weren't any. No monster hunting you, you feel watched, but that's about it.
Some of the audio sounded AI generated, but that's my take. I didn't stick listening for any of the notes too long. I tend to just rush through games like this because of...my "condition".

Blameless was a short and fun game that honestly felt like it was based on true story even though it wasn't. Plot twist at the end was amazing too. If you get the game you would be Blameless. Get it. It's the name of the game? So basically I thought what if I made a joke about this game which I did and thought about using the word Blameless in it since it is the name of the game. I give you permission to use this joke at parties.

Gostei bastante do jogo. Mesmo a história sendo bem curta, consegue te prender até o final e desvendar os mistérios. Bom, eu havia jogado uma vez a um tempo e confesso que havia desistido na metade do jogo porque não conseguia encontrar os itens necessários para prosseguir. Os itens não ficam tão óbvios no campo de visão, então, isso que me atrasou um pouco no tempo final do jogo, esperava em torno de 30 - 60 minutos, mas acabou que foi muito mais que isso, fui racionando e interagindo com os itens e locais e finalmente consegui terminar o jogo. Mesmo com meu atraso para finalizar o jogo de vez, eu daria 9,5 pela história, independente de tudo, a história é bem intrigante que te faz ficar preso até conseguir descobrir o que realmente aconteceu. Em relação aos gráficos, na primeira vez que joguei, tive alguns problemas por conta do meu notebook não ser tão potente, mas isso não me impediu, reduzi os gráficos e desativei algumas opções e o jogo ficou super fluído. Sinceramente, o jogo merece uma continuação, talvez um "Blameless 2"? Quem sabe? :3 ❤️

Short game maybe will take you 10 min to complete if you know what you are doing. I had to search for a guide because I didn't really know what to do. There is just not enough information given how to progress further.
The story is also mid. I am sorry for anyone who liked it. But the game lacks the horror vibe, the only time you get jump scared is at the end when you about to run into the Police and they are about to catch you.

Дизайн локации хороший, ощущение недостроенного участка играет на атмосферу. Судя по всему, есть даже несколько концовок, хотя я в этом не уверен.

На самом деле, вполне себе нормальный и даже атмосферный короткий пазл-рум-эскейп с элементами хоррора.
Не знаю, кому тут чё не понятно: всё по наитию логически не сложно выстроенно, посему легко находится и используется, даже не одна вещь на конкретном объекте (например, кусачки должны что-то обрезать и т.д.).
Единственное, что странно, так это сама завязка сюжетной конвы, а-ля ладно архитектор попёрся хер пойми куда ночью смотреть постройку, но финал с открытой концовкой, от которой особо яснее не стало вовсе выбивается из смысла всего детективного расследования. Типа а зачем[spoiler]убивать риелтора[/spoiler]?

The mysterious storyline was incredibly suspenseful, keeping me engaged throughout. The unexpected twist at the end was a fantastic surprise. The graphics were well-executed, and the overall quality of the game was excellent.
Blameless is a mystery game where you are a freelance Architect. You are invited into a house on a job where you are suddenly hit in the head and then trapped in a room. This is where the game begins, from thereon out you must find your way outside of the house, while finding clues of something more sinister going on.
This is a good game, a solid 7/10. The main character's voice actor is amazing, he portrays all of the emotions amazingly, speaks clearly and is all together a very high quality voice actor. The same cannot be said about the narrator that reads letters and notes. I am unsure if she is AI or not, but if she is not AI then she is just as expressionless as one.
The puzzles are fairly intuitive, with enough clues being scattered about/in interactions that you can figure out the puzzles by yourself. There are also alternative ways to solve them/open doors/get past obstacles, which is an amazing touch for such a short game. I managed to complete the entire game (earning 3/4 achievements) without a guide. I consulted a 100% achievement guide for the final one, though.
The graphics are interesting, and I'm fond of them. It feels very well put together and honestly runs amazingly. The game runs very smooth in comparison to other first person games of the genre that are free and is easy on the PC too.
The ending of the game is frustrating but in the best way. There is a clear plot running throughout, the clues are well spread out and timed and altogether it is very well led.
My only real issues with this game are:
1. The menu system is a little bit confusing. You must turn down the master audio once entering the gameplay settings, this is not intuitive. I feel as though there should've just been a separate tab for this that comprises of the master audio, narration audio and captioning options.
2. The menu itself feels very stretched i.e. the resolution is poor and it just looks out of place in comparison to how decent the rest of the game is.
3. The ending eludes to it not being "Over" or perhaps a second part being in the works. This does not seem to be the case... which is a big shame! I'd love to play a part 2 of this, the story and the ending are very compelling and interesting.
Overall, this game is definitely worth the try. I'd say it takes 30-40 minutes to complete as you need that initial room to get to grips with how the game works, how the game wants you to interact with things and the first puzzle feels the "hardest" of the bunch.

Blameless es ese juego de terror y misterio dónde no va a intentar asustarte con el susto fácil sino más bien va a mantenerte inmerso en una atmósfera oscura e inquietante que va a conseguir que se te ericen hasta el vello mas corto de tu cuerpo.
Es un juego perfecto para una tarde que en la que no dispones apenas de tiempo pero te gustan sentir esos nervios y angustia de saber que algo te acecha sin llegar a darte esos típicos susto de sopetón.
Игра относительно не плохая, но быстро проходится и в самой игре ничего ни интересного, ни страшного нет. Плюс в том, что она бесплатная. А 2.5 часа это только из-за нескольких затупов, и перепрохождения ради ачивок. 3/5
Blameless es un título genial para los fans de los juegos cortos de terror y misterio que priorizan la atmósfera y el realismo sobre los efectos especiales. Es una joya cruda y sin pulir, pero con un toque de emoción e imaginación. Si buscas algo libre, oscuro y ligero, sin duda merece la pena probarlo. Sin embargo, cabe destacar que no es un juego de terror que realmente te asuste, sino una experiencia que crea atmósfera y suspense.

This game is broken. After jumping off the scaffolding, I was chased by a guy who killed me or something. It reloaded the checkpoint; the guy wasn't there, my character keeps screaming "get away from me", and I'm stuck in the area. So I restarted, and it deleted all the items in the map. Now I'm trapped in the first room, now I'm deleting the game.

The puzzles are awful. In the first room, there's a hammer, but you can't just hammer the door down. Instead, you have to do something you're likely to never figure out without a walkthrough. Not any good at being a horror game either
