Back to the Future: The Game aposta forte na nostalgia e funciona bem como uma continuação espiritual da trilogia de filmes. A história segue a mesma fórmula clássica, com viagens no tempo, consequências inesperadas e muito humor, funcionando mais como uma homenagem e complemento ao material original do que como algo independente. As escolhas do jogador interferem muito pouco na narrativa, sem alterar de forma significativa o rumo da história.
Os personagens são um dos grandes acertos. Marty e Doc estão muito fiéis às versões dos filmes, tanto em personalidade quanto nos diálogos. A participação de Christopher Lloyd na dublagem adiciona bastante valor à experiência e ajuda a reforçar a autenticidade do jogo, tornando fácil enxergá-lo como uma extensão legítima do universo cinematográfico.
O gameplay segue o estilo clássico de point-and-click, com bastante foco em puzzles. A quantidade de enigmas é boa, e isso mantém o jogo interessante, mas algumas soluções são pouco intuitivas e acabam deixando o jogador perdido em certos momentos. Os controles também são um pouco estranhos e poderiam ser mais refinados, o que evidencia que o jogo não envelheceu tão bem nesse aspecto.
No geral, é um jogo que funciona muito melhor para fãs da franquia. Quem já gosta dos filmes provavelmente vai aproveitar o roteiro, os personagens e as referências. 1.Recommended for BTTF fans who don’t care only about plot — it can be a delightful nostalgia trip.
2.Lots of Easter eggs, callbacks and gags; it keeps the family-friendly humor of the films, which I liked.
3.Art, creativity, music and mission design are very good. I personally loved some missions — [spoiler]the lab mission in Ep1, the identity test in Ep4, and the DeLorean mission in Ep5[/spoiler]. You can tell the team put a lot of care into these elements

1.[b] Character interactions are too linear, while exploration is overly branched.[/b]
Which producing large amounts of dialogue, but without hints you still don’t know what to do. However, compared to later problems this is minor.

Doc seems to lose his intellect and is exaggerated into a love-struck caricature; Marty becomes a scheming kid who even frames the young Doc to fix the timeline, and constantly makes cringey, low-EQ remarks. Several characters are altered to absurd degrees in the Ep3 timeline.
②[b]Plot and setting collapse. [/b]
Under the above changes, the story often reaches “what?” levels. By Ep4 I was painfully frustrated, bucause characters are doing irrational even impossible things. The final ending is rushed and unclear also.
If this released now, I’d suspect the script was written by AI.

·Ep1 is nearly flawless: plot is solid, story coherent, characters not OOC (Biff is especially well done — his cowardly/bullying mix is nicely captured). Plenty of callbacks [spoiler]I liked the newspaper Easter egg about Clint Eastwood[/spoiler]. The lab mission is great and stays fun on replays. IGN’s initial 8.5 was well deserved.
·The main nitpick is unclear guidance, but that’s a series-wide issue and forgivable. Overall a very enjoyable experience, really nice as a 2011 game.
[h3][b] Ep2: Okay[/b][/h3]
·Less exciting than Ep1, with fewer standout missions — partly acceptable since it mostly wraps up Ep1’s threads. Characters and writing aren’t yet broken, though hints appear [spoiler]Doc calling Marty “nondescript”, Marty asking for evidence in an awkward emotional moment[/spoiler].
·The game could have ended after the first two episodes, or those two could’ve been released together — they already formed a complete, intact arc.
[h3] [b]Ep3: Most frustrating[/b][/h3]
This is the worst part of the series: no highlights, bland and hard to stomach. [b]Three issues:[/b]
1.[b]Characters are radically altered.[/b]
In the films, personalities don’t change wildly across timelines. Here, they do. [spoiler]Jennifer unexpectedly becomes a punk rebellious type; Doc’s intelligence is sacrificed for gameplay, and I don't think he would realistically support a highly centralized city.[/spoiler] Surprisingly, Biff remains well portrayed.[strike](Guess it's Biff who wrote this game, huh?)[/strike]
2.[b]The plot is hard to swallow. [/b]
The writers may wanted to make it more eventful, but this seems to force drama at Marty’s expense — he’s left frustrated and humiliated, and Doc is needlessly gullible, which is simply uncomfortable. [spoiler]
I even end up competing for Jennifer’s boyfriend slot, and am forced into a public tongue kiss...[/spoiler] That’s not the Marty-Jennifer we know. Jen and Marty’s love isn’t superficial at all, and portraying it that way feels insulting to the movie fans.
3.[b]Missions are boring. [/b]
This episode’s tasks feel like grindy fetch/side-quests that put me to sleep — the dullest in the whole series.
[h3][b]Ep4: Great design, terrible plot[/b][/h3]
·The fatal flaw is still plot, but other elements are excellent. If I’m blunt: it’s [b]like a delicious broth with a rat in it. [/b]
·The first half is nice, and mission design, art & creativity are superb too — the Expo models are detailed, callbacks are fun, [spoiler]I love the way Marty save Doc (Citizen Brown), and the identity verification task is brilliant (watching young Doc react to changing environments is a great idea).[/spoiler]
·But the later plot is painfully bad. It feels like the writers forgot the player’s perspective. [spoiler]I cannot accept Marty fabricating evidence to frame young Doc, Marty would never intentionally embarrass his old friend (I don’t even think he’s feeling sad at all, he just comes across as enjoying it) ; Nor can I accept Doc turning on Marty to help a brainwashing antagonist. Loyalty and “love-struck” are not the same.[/spoiler]
·What angered me even more, [spoiler] when young Doc was mentally overwhelmed, I was forced to control Marty, urging him to watch Frankenstein at this awkward point, just to fix the timeline. [/spoiler] The writers clearly didn’t care about young Doc's feeling, they only cared about that damned timeline.
·I felt sad for the framed young Doc, for the betrayed Marty, and for the story. It tastes just like TLOU2, because [b]no one seems happy in all of this, even the player.[/b]
[h3][b]Ep5: Competent, but a weak ending[/b][/h3]
·Ep5 is better than 3&4, but just because most problems stem from the mess earlier. It only functions as a wrap-up, so I'm not gonna blame on it.
·But yeah, it do have frustrating plot beats [spoiler]they work hard to restore Edna’s memory, then she just pulls out a newspaper and explains everything — which is an odd callback that feels insulting to the player[/spoiler].
·The biggest head-scratch is the finale: [spoiler]why do 3 or 4 Martys of similar age suddenly appear?[/spoiler] The films don’t introduce parallel worlds, and no canon proves that DeLorean can traverse alternate universes — if that were true, time travel would have been chaotic from the machine’s invention onward.
[spoiler]·Then Doc and Marty ignore them and fly off, leaving the duplicates — THE END.[/spoiler]
·Yes — and that’s it. What an artistic ending! Even O. Henry would have been impressed.
·Still, props where due: I loved the DeLorean task (it adds a GTA5-style hacking element, which was absolutely ahead of its time). I particularly liked the interactive elements of Expo, they’re full of imaginative ideas about future technology, highly creative.

The game has nice gameplay and — for 2011— a lot of potential, but the story/canon flaws drag it down at least one grade. With a better script, it could have become a classic.
And in the end, I’m looking forward to a new game.
Weren’t there rumors in 2025 that Bob Gale was planning a new one? I wouldn’t mind if nothing came of it, the movie is already a classic. But if they do make one, just deliver something better.

Как DMC-12 оказался цел по началу, если его [spoiler]разломали в 3-ей части[/spoiler] - не поясняется. А финальная сцена нарушает основной закон местных межвременных перемещений аж 3 раза!
Играние слишком линейно, кроме диалогошатния никаких отвлекалок не представлено. Стандартно взаимодействие с окружением, беготня по жёстко ограниченным уровням-сценам, болтовня и применение вещей из инвентаря.
Якобы "экшен-эпизоды" - сплошь бесконечный пошаговый хоровод со сменой ракурса.
QTE - с натяжкой, 2, и те в последних эпизодах.
Выборов, влияющих на следующую серию - нет, автозагрузки решений из сохранений - тоже (привет, Майкл Корлеоне!).
Изначально можно включить оповещение о заданиях.
Подсказки внутри есть, так что дополнительно открывать руководства не требуется.
Самое сложные места - фонетическая загадка, испорченная любительским (?) переводом и сцена битвы на гитарах со случайным (?) спуском.
Хождение на клавиатуре под меняющуюся камеру неудобно из-за слепого изменения кнопок управления.
В игре показано довольно много стрельбы из оружия и взрывов (преимущественно от перемещения авто), есть спиртное и кровь в кадре, пытки под током и хлороформом, вылетающее слово "прости.утка" из уст подростка и журнал с "пляжными" девочками - эдакие подростковые GTA-мотивы своего времени?
Физика трясущейся груди? Ну, учитывая описанное выше, выглядит не так и страшно, а скорее, даже безобидно! (авторы воочию вдохновлялись Клаудией Вэллс?)
Хотя вот в 3-м эпизоде Джордж говорит, что сыну ещё нет 18, а властные структуры - что уже есть.
Владельцам полного сезона нужно скачивать каждый эпизод из библиотеки по отдельности и также запускать.
Крутая фишка - загрузка игры кат-сценой с разгоном ДеЛориана от первого лица. Жаль, что о ней и не узнаешь, если проходишь весь эпизод целиком!
Во 2-м эпизоде слишком тихий звук в сравнении со всеми другими.
По прохождению - ничем не выделяющийся прямолинейный "точка-тыкательный" квест с неудобным перемещением аватара.
Повествование местами уходит далеко от широкого семейного круга игроков.
Владение оправдывает большое фанатение от первоисточника или восхищение актёрским мастерством Кристофера Ллойда.

A Fun narrative adventure title based on one of my favourite movie series! Telltale's Back to the Future brings Marty McFly into a new adventure, this time way back in the past to the 1920s. The telltale formula is knwon by all, half puzzle, half narrative driven decision making. BTTF is a bit of an oldie, so its story does not branch out too much despite the choices. The first two episodes are very strong, the third and forth not so much, and the final fifth one is overall alright. For fans of the movies, this is a must play!

If this is somehow sitting in your library unplayed or you want to show someone who’s simply not seen it, maybe it’s time to dust it off. Or perhaps you did play it, but like a movie you haven’t seen in years, you don’t actually remember all the parts you liked. Either way, they don’t sell it anymore, and that’s a pity.
I doubt it’s going to strictly going to blow you away like the trilogy, but overall the full 5-episode cycle is a respectful side-sequel that tries not to poke at the closure you may have from the films, and combines two great 80s things even if a little “OUTATIME”—BttF and P&C adventure games. The soundalike had really big boots to fill in the Marty role and absolutely nailed it. The fact that many people involved in the original productions were involved in making this also helps. No pro-wrestling imitation tunes here, either; you’re getting the real ones.
The challenge level is a little low, but it’s for franchise fans mainly, and besides, I never much cared for old-school adventure game difficulty.
This is a peek into what could’ve been with Telltale’s licensing streak back in the day. Alas, in some ways it was too good to last. The episodic model never seemed sustainable in the end for anyone, and the studio could get noticeably formulaic at times. I think this one dodged those; it’s got the benefits of being both part of TTG in an experimental phase with some of their best games (that, alas, had disappointing sales), and a genuine breakout hit.

Сами пазлы тут довольно легкие, диалоги приятные, сюжет забавный, управление ужасно неудобное, но все вместе это дарит хорошее настроение и удовольствие от прохождения. К сожалению, это продукт своей эпохи и таких кривых низкобюджетных ламповых адвенчур уже больше не делают, так что остается только сокрушенно вздохнуть и наслаждаться нафталиновым старьем.

Man schlüpft in die Rolle von Marty McFly, der von einem verstörenden Traum aufwacht und sich auf den Weg zum Haus seines Freundes Dr. Emmett Brown macht. Dieser ist nach den Ereignissen im dritten Kinofilm seit ca. 6 Monaten spurlos verschwunden und es droht ein Zwangsverkauf seiner Besitztümer. Doch plötzlich taucht die Zeitmaschine in Form des DeLorean vor Docs Haustür und nur mit dessen Hund Einstein besetzt auf. Im weiteren Verlauf verschlägt es Marty dann in das Hill Valley des Jahres 1931, wo er seinem Freund aus der Patsche helfen muss. Man kann sich auf so manche Überraschung gefasst machen. Wie es Telltale gelingt, der altehrwürdigen Kultlizenz gerecht zu werden, verdient Respekt. In jeder Spielsituation ist spürbar, dass die Entwickler selbst große Fans der Filmtrilogie sind und eben deshalb auch in der Lage waren, eine inhaltlich stimmige und atmosphärisch hervorragende Fortsetzung zu erschaffen. Die Geschichte verspricht Spannung pur und steht den Kinofilmen in nichts nach. Auch wenn die Engine nicht zum Besten gehört, was es damals gab, merkt man den Alterungsprozess kaum und hat auch heute noch eine Menge Spaß.
That a wonderful love letter to fans of the franchise with just the right amount of a traditional adventure and humor along with great dialogue with plenty of references to events from the Back to the Future trilogy. Highly recommended!
Complete playthrough. One of Telltale's last games before they really blew up with [i]The Walking Dead[/i]. I always enjoy a good time-travel story; while [i]BTTF[/i] is relatively tame with the range that it attempts to cover and there are plot-holes aplenty, it's still solidly entertaining with some nice character work that builds through the series. It's technically quite limited - the navigation puzzle-solving is a bit clunky at times - but the game engine does the job. Those puzzles range quite a lot in quality - there's a fair amount that makes little sense and where a walkthrough may be a preferable approach, but this improves in the later episodes as the developers seem to find their feet with the theme.

Es una pena que un juego ambientado en una saga tan querida por nuestra generación le haga tan poca justicia. Se agradecen los guiños y el respeto por la obra original, así como las voces...pero todo lo demás, deja tanto que desear...aventura pobre, con gráficos muy desfasados, que apenas nada tiene de aventura gráfica, ya que los puzzles son prácticamente inexistentes; sistema de inventario limitado, desfasado y muy incómodo; cortísimo incluso para ser simplemente un episodio (definitivamente no estoy hecho para jugar juegos por episodios...la sensación de incompleto, aun teniéndolos todos, es brutal); sistema de cámaras y desplazamiento desesperante...
En fin, juego que claramente está hecho con el propósito de ser jugados por aquellos fans de la saga que pueda provocarles morriña, pero que falla en todo lo demás como para hacerlo atractivo. Se nota que es de los primeros juegos de Telltale, pero aún así, muy decepcionante y parece de la época en que se hacían aventuras gráficas como churros porque era el género de moda, todo con el mismo motor y sin apenas cuidar los detalles. Creo que hay muchas mejores opciones a la hora de elegir una aventura, por mucho que me encante el universo de "Regreso al Futuro"...

It's alright. It's an old style point and click from the 90s, not the style of The Walking Dead. The art style is charming, the puzzles in the first episode is fair for the most part, but all 5 episodes suffer from the same issue where you need to drag your mouse through the whole screen just to see what you can interact with, which can be frustrating.
Cool that a game from 2011 supports 4k, but that also makes the already fine cursor even harder to see.
Episode 1 is pretty much the best of the whole lot.

Really glad I still have this gem of a game and most of the other delisted Telltale game's, but it's sad to see that right's issues will be why new gamer's can't enjoy some classic like BTTF, Poker Night, and the Guardian's game to name a few.

I wouldn't turn this into a BOTF 4 movie, but this game has good cliffhangers and hooks. Just when you think you are done for the day, the game will just pull you right back. Personally i finished it in a couple of sittings over the weekend.
If you are a fun of oldschool point and click adventures, then congrats, cause this game has puzzles. They aren't too easy, and aren't too hard. And if you ever happen to get stuck, you can always reveal tips (there are like ~3 layers of tips you can reveal, each one getting progressively more straight forward).
As for the playtime, each episode will take around 3 hrs to finish (steam only records for playtime of the first episode). In fact, this is why i wouldn't turn it into a movie. It's too long for a movie, and some story elements are there just to fit into the puzzle gameplay design. But it still has its good moments. Ending is very bittersweet for example.
It's probably okay if you want something to go with your BTTF merch
I understand Telltale is no longer in business, so I don't feel too guilty for giving a thumbs down. I played the beginning of The Wolf Among Us and quit about the time I had to decide how to converse with Tweedle Dee or someone. I just didn't get back to it. I think I have a Batman one and a Borderlands game too. If these were 2D I think it would be more enjoyable for me because they're just so slow moving. I'm talking about the dialog that you can't skip.
I can read a lot faster than George Mcfly can talk, but you can't click and move to the next line.
I played all the BTTF games in order quite awhile ago. All I remembered was I wanted to get through them and finish.
So today I was looking for a point and click to play while listening to a podcast. I chose this reluctantly but couldn't remember why I got mmph vibes.
It's because you use keys to walk from one scene to the next, but still have to click around anyway. It's not open world. It's clumsy and slow. If you accidentally click on an NPC again, you have to listen to the whole dialog. Again.
Look, the story is okay if you are a big fanboy of the series and you need your Doc Brown fix, but It didn't feel very canon to me. There IS a short Michael J.Fox cameo tho toward the end I think.
Me? I'm going to have to put it my 'Never Again' folder.

Sabe como os jogos da Telltale não dão de fato escolha, mas só ilusão de escolha algumas vezes? Esse jogo é o pior de todo nesse aspecto: qualquer dialogo errado que você fazer simplesmente é ignorado, você pode repetir conversar até acertar o que o personagem quer ouvir, todos os puzzles têm só uma solução (bem, isso não é TÃO incomum pra eles) e o pior de tudo é que eu quebrei o jogo ainda no primeiro episodio: descobri a resposta de um problema antes dele aparecer na trama, eu literalmente estava fazendo algo que o personagem não deveria saber ainda. Não sei se foi bug ou história mal escrita, mas acabou com o pouco de interesse que eu tinha pela trama.
Eu nunca fui fã dos filmes, então isso pode influenciar minha falta de interesse, mas eu acho que esse jogo têm problema de ritmo e pro várias vezes, é enrolado demais.

You know how Telltale games don't actually give you a choice, but sometimes just the illusion of choice? This game is the worst in this regard: any wrong dialogue you make is simply ignored, you can repeat the conversation until you get what the character wants to hear, all the puzzles have only one solution (well, that's not THAT unusual for them) and the worst of all is that I broke the game in the first episode: I discovered the answer to a problem before it appeared in the plot, I was literally doing something that the character shouldn't know yet. I don't know if it was a bug or a poorly written story, but it ruined the little interest I had in the plot.
I've never been a fan of the movies, so that may influence my lack of interest, but I think this game has a problem with pacing and, at times, it's too convoluted.

A True Blue Back To The Future franchise title that fits as a continuation after BTTF3, although the comics have different approaches this one will forever have a place in my heart
Though not all episodes are equally good and Episode 1 is a really great start the only thing i slightly dislike is the charcter designs which seem like a blend of the Back to the Future Cartoon design as well as the movie cast into one. Not the best but not the worst.
I'll replay the episodes every year around this time and don't know when I'll stop but so far so good

This is legitimately one of Telltale's best games with it feeling exactly like a fourth movie, which makes it all the worse that most of their backlog has been delisted. Here's hoping that Skunkape remasters the game.

I hoped Back to the Future: The Game would tickle some nostalgia trip for me, but honestly it ended up being one of the duller Telltale Games. Even as their catalogue of releases got worse and worse, this is still one of my least favourites.

I do not understand why this game was removed from the store (I got the game long before it happened). It is a good, fun and relatively easy adventure game. Graphics and animation are good - while today they might be considered almost low-poly minimalistic, but note the age! Hardware was different back then and the cartoonish style really plays well. Voice acting, very important here, is very good and fun, including the original actors from the movies. The story is a typical "Back to the Future" story, not aspiring to anything serious, just pure time paradox playground for a sci-fi comedy. And it works fine for what is it.
The game is definitely aimed for those who watched the original movies and enjoyed them (those who did not, will probably not like the game either..), and would like to experience such a story by solving plot puzzles as Marty.
Besides all that, it is an important part of adventure games legacy and it should definitely be brought back to the store (esp. that there seems to be no issues running it on current systems, on PC at least). If not here, maybe elsewhere (GOG?).
The game deserves a definitive edition and new season.

This is more like watching Back to the Future IV than playing a game, the only real gameplay is solving puzzles, and theres no branching paths like later telltale games. But this is still a great experience for anybody who loves the movies.

Niech stracę i napiszę co nieco o tym ,,arcydziele" Piszę z perspektywy osoby, która gra w to po raz pierwszy a wcześniej była ograna z dużą ilością gier przygodowych tego typu.
Gra zestarzała się źle. Graficznie jeszcze daje radę ale gameplay jest okropny. Kamera i nie skoordynowane z nią sterowanie sprawiło parę razy, że miałem się ochotę przekręcić. Poziom zagadek jest na tak niskim poziomie(wysoki poziom trudności ale niski poziom ich konstrukcji), że w pewnym momencie zacząłem grać z poradnikiem żeby nie tracić więcej czasu. Co najlepsze, twórcy doskonale zdawali sobie sprawę z faktu, że konstrukcja zagadek jest do bani ponieważ zamontowali system podpowiedzi w samej grze. System ten pozwala w dowolnym momencie odpalić od 1-4 podpowiedzi gdzie każda kolejna przekazuje ci więcej wskazówek co robić dalej. Ostatnia z nich często jest bezpośrednim wskazaniem co i jak ale czasem i to nie wystarcza. Także nawet z tym system często nie wiadomo co robić. To wszystko sprawia, że na epizod możesz poświęcić 2 godziny albo 4,5 przez to jak źle skonstruowano zagadki.

Nie graj w to nawet jeśli lubisz przygodówki typu point&click
Odpal sobie lepiej którąkolwiek z nowych gier tego studia i baw się lepiej zamiast marnować czas na to

Покупал эту игру давно по скидке, думал поиграть, но не фанат этого жанра.
Недавно решил запустить и в принципе в данную игру есть смысл играть, если вы хотите подтянуть английский. За два часа игры узнал много новых слов. Официальной поддержки русского языка нет, но есть фанатские модификации.
Также будет приятно играть тем кто любит фильмы Назад в Будущее.
Игра создавалась в сотрудничестве с компанией Universal, имеются отсылки на фильмы, несколько раз играли песни из фильмов. Действие игры происходит через год после событий третьего фильма.
Графика мультяшная, слегка наивно выглядит в наше время.
I'm writing this review to cover all 5 episodes of the game. In short, it's a great game that stays true to the movies. It plays like a true sequel in the franchise and is well worth the purchase.
For BTTF fans only, its a point and click puzzle game to a T, with not much going for it aside from story and characters, BUT thats where it really shines, the voice acting, the casting, the way the characters act and the storyline all make this game 7/10.
If you dont like the BTTF movies you certainly wont like these collection of games.

EP 1: 6/10
EP 2: 7/10
EP 3: 10/10 (if a BTTF 4 was ever made then this wouldve most likely have been the major point of the film)
EP 4: 8/10
EP 5: 10/10 (the cliffhanger is the saddest thing ever, knowing that Telltale will never make a sequel/conclusion, but perhaps its for the best)

It started off a little slow. I think I ranked this really low because I got kinda bored along the way but it only picks up near the ending. Tired playthrough + Longest playtime = Not a good combo. I ranked this last for me. Tbf it just started. Its only the first episode.

This is old Telltale at its best, as well as an absolute treasure for BTTF fans. In fact, I’d be hard-pressed to name you another tie-in story that’s so faithful to the parent work yet manages to expand it so much at the same time.
Everything’s smooth as butter here: the story produces one cool set piece after another but also fills each one with exploration and witty dialogues to never feel rushed, while the puzzles are easy enough to never stump even casual players but still reliably work as a tool of additional immersion and engagement.
I kinda wish Telltale lingered on this formula of light-hearted comedic adventure games with straightforward-but-still-present puzzles a bit more before their big tonal shift with TWD, because they were so freaking good at it. But, I guess, between three full seasons of Sam & Max and this gem, one really shouldn’t complain.

Surprise hit that I finally came around to playing in 2024. Fun, challenging but not impossible, and definitely sets me up to play the next one. I loved it.

Episode 1: Off to a great start!
I originally wanted to wait until I had played through the series in its entirety before reviewing but I think doing it per episode as I play it is much better.
In short, I had decided to play this game because I am a big fan of the films. I really wanted to experience the magic of the films in game form and honestly, I think this game was really good at capturing that.
The story book style of the game is perfect, as it feels like an interactive Back to the Future film. The story is easy to follow and the quests are not too difficult to figure out (although there were two I had to pull up a walkthrough guide on). The animation is ok but the acting and voice work is much more impressive given that they had to get the original cast back.
Last but not least there was an issue with several dialogue in the game, where audio did not load and the characters were animated with their mouths moving but no voice is heard. I did not miss anything too important though.
The game left me on a cliffhanger and I'm going to jump right into episode 2.
The game is great. However, Steam does not support any tech stuff, operation, fixes, and the maker Telltale Games lost its license to do so. You'r on your own.

Overall great game. Played this as a kid on my PS3 and wanted to go through the same game I played back then. Riddled with tons of clipping and visual glitches, along with it's fair share of audio bugs, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. Only way for me to get it was through a 3rd party, but the hassle was worth it. An overall enjoyable game, even with the glitches and bugs.

Waste of time. The control are extremely annoying if you use a controller. Graphics are terrible and the story is boring. Characters don't behave like in the movie that is one of my all time favorite. I thought it would be more like walking dead, but no, it's like those old point and click where you just do puzzle after puzzle. Like an idiot, I bought all episodes but for sure I won't do them.

- very limited areas
- very few decissions matter
Those points are all typical for Telltale and its the last time, I bought a game from that developer.
I might have a look at some lets plays from their games in the future, bcs story is normally good.

Back to the Future: The Game is the first of 5 short but enjoyable point and click adventure games from Telltale, with similar gameplay to the Sam & Max series of games, and of course it's very faithfully based on the classic movie trilogy from Robert Zemeckis. From what I can tell, the gameplay takes place somewhere between the first and second films in the trilogy. Doc Brown has gone missing, so you take on the role of Marty McFly and solve various point + click/inventory management/dialogue tree puzzles to find where (and when) Doc Brown has disappeared to.
Some of the puzzles can be difficult, but there's a hint system that will get you unstuck fairly quickly. There's save games, but it's impossible to make a mistake or "lose", so you'll eventually get through the puzzle.
The game is very old at this stage, over 13 years, but it holds up remarkably well, with decent enough models and assets, and with 4K support the game looks fine (apart from a few muddy textures), and the soundtrack of course is straight from the films.
There's also a voice pack you can get from the internet (check some of the community guides here on Steam) that puts in Tom Wilson and Christopher Lloyds talents as voice actors reprising their cinematic roles.
Overall this is a great game in terms of both design and technical execution (it's held up very well for a game that's a decade old). The only real downside with this is that the game has been pulled from Steam, so it could be challenging to get a key. If you can, and you're a fan of this genre of games and you're a fan of Back to the Future, grab it!

Передивився на днях Трилогію "Назад у Майбутнє" і згадав, що років тисячу тому купив у Стімі гру про пригоди Марті та Дока Е. Брауна.
Хронологічно - це продовження Трилогії, хоч, на жаль, про долі персонажів фільмів сказано було або одне-два слова, а то і взагалі нічого.
Але в іншому гра прямо просякнута вайбом фільмів: голоси, поведінка, ситуації, саундтрек, ДеЛореан - як фанат фільмів, я прямо кайфонув) А ще 4 епізоди мене чекають у майбутньому! Чи, коли пройду, у минулому... Whatever! Які б дороги не вели... Дороги? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

Si tratta di un'avventura grafica tridimensionale in stile semplificato alla Telltale Games, senza più nemmeno la possibilità di combinare gli oggetti nell'inventario, ma anche non totalmente narrativa come saranno poi le loro successive novel di maggior successo. Quello che ne risulta è, purtroppo, un titolo facile e, di conseguenza, piuttosto breve, il che è un gran peccato, vista la qualità di comparto grafico (rapportato all'epoca di rilascio) e sonoro. A onor del vero, la grafica 3D caricaturale non è invecchiata troppo male, mentre sia la colonna sonora che il doppiaggio, comprendente un cast stratosferico tra cui lo stesso Christopher Lloyd, Thomas F. Wilson (purtroppo solo nella re-release del 2015) e Michael J. Fox (seppur non nel ruolo del protagonista), sono straordinari!
Come anticipato, la re-release per il 30esimo anniversario del 2015 non è purtroppo stata resa disponibile per PC, inoltre, il titolo non ha i testi in italiano. Ma l'unica vera pecca del gioco, a parte qualche bug dovuto all'età, è [spoiler]che, come l'ottimo Tales of Monkey Island, il titolo si chiude con un cliffhanger, anche piuttosto rilevante, facente sperare in un seguito che, purtroppo, non ha mai visto la luce.[/spoiler]

I recently rewatched Back to the Future 1-3 and I immedialtey feel in love with the films again. So when I heard a Back to the Future game exists, I had to try it out. This game is amazing, it feels like a proper sequel to Back to the Future. I am pretty mad that they removed it from Steam, in fact I bought the code from a website that resells Steam keys. If you ever have the chance to play it, please do it because it is so good

Buen juego point and click. Aunque los escenarios son repetitivos la trama y las acciones a realizar cambian. Y como se suele decir ten cuidado con lo que tocas cuando viajas en el tiempo.
